Life is formless, thus endless and all-inclusive, so anything definable is an illusion. Still, most believe they are limited beings in a world restricted by time and space. Thankfully, the suffering that comes from this belief ends when we’re inclusive. As this echoes life’s inclusiveness, we experience that every moment is the perfect moment.
By contrast, living in the now denies life’s inclusiveness. This is because it requires us to exclude thoughts of the past and future, thereby highlighting a distinct point between them, conceptualised as the now.
Every moment is the perfect moment when we include our perception of it unedited. Even within moments of perceived wrong or loss, the moment remains perfect when we include this perception.
A perfect moment is not limited by duration – it may be brief or last for hours. You experience it when you include all your thoughts – memories of the past, plans for the future, passing reflections while driving, or even moments of anger.
Every passing thought or feeling is part of the totality that makes every moment the perfect moment. Yet, unlike a carefully planned scene in a music video, a perfect moment is not flawless – it has ups and downs. But like a roller coaster ride, ups and downs add thrill.
