In the realm of duality, joining the duality flow – the constant interplay of opposites – is the most beneficial way to support our well-being. Psychological issues fade away, and the body’s biological system functions optimally.

The brain crafts all experiences like it weaves a dream: tumultuous, unpredictable, and incompatible events that defy rational perception. Therefore, if your life experience seems to lack chaos and aligns with your rationale, you have retrospectively interpreted the brain’s irrational arrangements to appear consistent with your belief system.
Yet, the brain finds it peculiar that we rush to categorise everything neatly, be it feminism, liberalism, humanism, or Buddhism. Why not revel in the wonders the brain conjures? Like a magician, it pulls surprises out of the hat at the most unexpected moments.
For instance, you’re feeling bored doing the dishes. Suddenly, your brain provides a contrast by drawing you to the window, where a fascinating event unfolds on the street. This polarity, where you feel both bored and entertained, brings you into the flow of duality.
In the realm of duality, this flow is the most beneficial way to support your well-being. Within it, psychological issues fade away. And when you don’t disrupt the polarity of breathing (Duality Hack #8.7), this duality flow ensures that the body’s biological system functions optimally, allowing it to heal itself or signal when it needs help from a healthcare professional.
Conversely, if you had set out to do the laundry linearly and tried to adhere to that, you would have viewed the window as a disturbance rather than a source of entertainment. This would have led to blaming your brain for diverting you, thus seeking ways to control it to do things in a non-dual manner, independent of the brain.
But as indicated, we can’t control how events unfold, nor can we avoid following the brain’s plans. We can choose to move slowly or quickly, but regardless of our choice, the brain has already set the stage for the subsequent events to document its duality game. Thankfully, changing the game is unnecessary because, in acknowledging the duality flow, the fear of defeat is as entertaining as the thrill of success.
