You cannot connect the body with a psychological issue except in fantasy. The body is physical and must be dealt with materially.

From Duality Hack #7.1 in Alexius’ Duality Hacks.
The wish to become somebody else often starts in childhood. We quickly learn that our parents see us as more lovable if we adjust our appearance to their expectations. Later, we start controlling our expressions to manipulate others into liking us and thus feeling appreciated.
Maybe it began when your parents wanted you to quit diapers before you had completed toilet training. To get their love, you unconsciously tightened the muscles in the loin to stop urinating. However, manipulating the body messed up its connection with the biological system, disrupting communication with the brain.
Therefore, your body tried to fix the blockage in the loin on its own by balancing it with a new issue in the shoulder, neck, or jaw. The latter served you well. A jaw reinforced in a forward position makes it easy to maintain an expression that others like so you can escape feeling wrong.

Healing a psychosomatic problem is straightforward. You face the emotional issue you have projected onto the body where it is conceived, namely, in the psychological sphere. It is airy, so looking at the problem, it vanishes. Next, since the body does not have to defend itself against a non-physical issue, its biological system has the energy to heal the body materially – maybe with the help of a healthcare professional.
Psychological and physical issues are not connected
But perhaps the body chose to counteract the blockage in the loin with one in the feet, and many years later, you feel something is wrong there. Or the body balanced the problem with stiffness in the hands, showing up later as something you assume a smartphone or a computer caused.
Although better shoes, massage and acupuncture can diminish the new body problems, the relief will not last. The hardened loin wants to balance its problem with another. And the latest problem area needs the loin to remain rigid to even out. That is how the body deals with its issues when the natural flow of the biological system is disrupted.
However, since the brain’s script is as fixed as the earth’s motion around the sun, the physical tensions in the loin mentioned above would have occurred regardless of whether you adjusted to your parents’ expectations to feel loved. But had you not tried to hide your fear of being unloved by projecting it onto the loin, its tensions would not have seemed to be linked with a psychological issue. Instead, it would have been solely physical and, thus, not a mystery.

The body is physical
Thankfully, all you need to undo the belief in a body-integration union is to perceive your reaction to a supposed fusion, such as a psychosomatic disorder, as ‘it is what it is.’ That reveals your response is twofold. Ergo, no specific reaction exists to ratify a blend of psychological and physical issues
Therefore, since you do not project thoughts and feelings onto vulnerable parts of the body, they remain intangible in the psychological sphere, thus fleeting and not bothering you as if they were something in the body. Since you do not mess up the biological system, it can deal with the body in its physical terms.
Having a satisfied body is not so much about how you use it but why. For example, if your reason for getting a massage is physical, your body feels revitalised. But if the reason is psychological, your body feels burdened by being manipulated by non-material ideas. In other words, when the body is uninterrupted by your mental view of wellness, it feels safe. But if you project non-physical ideas onto it, the body feels threatened and fights your intrusion.

The body cannot be wrong because it takes more than One
The above explanation of cause and effect is not entirely correct. Nothing adds up in a world of duality because there is no more than that which is One since it is formless, thus endless. Even so, the explanations in Alexius’ Duality Hacks work when they are used to expose duality as a fantasy.
But that explanation is also fictional. Nobody makes or has a fantasy of more than one, as that calls for more than one. Therefore, ultimately speaking, nothing matters in a world of duality.
However, everything seems more manageable when you live by it and, therefore, have twofold reactions to your experiences, preventing you from psychosomatic disorders, for example.
Going for a walk requires so much coordination of body parts that you would hardly move if you were in charge of the body. Fortunately, the brain has the body’s blueprint, so you can relax and enjoy where it makes you go.. [Photo: Alexius]
