Alexius Has Been a Man in Many Ways

Alexius Jørgensen, born in Denmark in 1949, has been many things. From hippie to healer, business-man to beach bum, and even a duality hacker, his varied roles show what one can do without formal education or knowing what one is or what one does.
Nightmare Man
Alexius’ childhood was mainly about surviving his violent dad.
Music Man
He handled music at his school and the city’s sports centre (65). As a teenager, he attended numerous concerts: The Rolling Stones (65), Bob Dylan (66), Jimi Hendrix, and Cream (67). Later, he saw Bryan Ferry, Lou Reed, Herbie Hancock, Pat Metheny, Milton Nascimento, Eurythmics, Public Enemy, Prince, Tricky, Joanna Newsom, Philip Glass, etc. Presently, Alexius enjoys Chancha Vía Circuito.
Kid Man
At 16, he worked with children. Two of Denmark’s best-selling newspapers published articles about how he created space for children to express themselves.

Hippie Man
At 18, he joined a hippie commune.
Nomad Man
At 19, he travelled and lived in a camper van with his girlfriend.
Taxi Man
He became a taxi driver at age 20.
French Man
At 21, he lived in an old mountain village in southern France.
Ashram Man
At age 22, he became a monk and delivered Satsang across Europe for 4 years.
Enlightened Man
At age 22, Alexius momentarily forgot what and where he was. So, since nothing fell through a black hole into that which is One, he’s comparable to the Enlightenment of that which is One.
Business-Man
At 26, Alexius launched two restaurants, two bars, and Denmark’s first vegetarian takeaway – all built from the ground up. One of his restaurants, a forerunner of New Nordic Cuisine, was nominated for a Michelin Guide award. His bar, Floss, inspired the Danish cult film Riders of Depression. After leaving the Ashram, Alexius had hardly any money, but he soon achieved financial success. Twelve years later, however, he lost everything. Therefore, his business journey ended as it began – without anything but the bliss of nothing.
Family Man
At age 30, he settled down by the seaside as a family man with two beautiful sons.
DJ Man
At 35, he DJ’d at a nightclub and on the radio.
Amusement Man
Following years of intense business, beginning around age 36, Alexius entertained himself by going to raves in London, dancing at Pacha in Ibiza, and appearing on a Danish morning television show.
Healing Man
At 41, he started performing aura massage.
TV Man
At 42, he created television programmes about life’s darker sides.
Teaching Man
From the age of 43, he taught graphic design at a Danish School for Public Relations for three years.
Due to his many innovative activities, Alexius has often appeared on television and radio, as well as in newspapers and magazines, in his native Denmark. This photo, which says he has been a man in many ways, is from an article about him in a famous Danish women’s magazine.
Media Man
At 45, he started delivering cutting-edge solutions for both large and small businesses through his company, Mediaman.
Baker Man

Hero Man
At 57, the Danish Institute of Future Research named Alexius a role model for the future – calling him a hero of the future.
Beach Man
At 58, enjoying being a beach bum.

Photo Man
Until Alexius deleted his pictures from the web, Google listed him among the world’s best photographers. Yet he’s not a pro – between the ages of 59 and 66, he simply enjoyed shooting candid, unposed photos as moments arose and processing them into something reminiscent of how he experienced those moments.
Jungle Man
At age 60, when TV cameras captured Alexius being airlifted from the rainforest, they called him ‘the hero who survived the jungle’. While suspended in the air, he pledged to develop Alexius’ Duality Hacks.
Duality Hacking Man
Shortly after turning 61 and with no forward momentum or expectation of what would follow, Alexius began writing Alexius’ Duality Hacks on an island not far from the Sahara in Africa.
Flex Man
By his early 60s, Alexius no longer uses social media to present himself as unique. Although housed in an apartment brimming with beauty and a paradisical view, there’s no ‘I’ seeking to be defined by that or by writing Alexius’ Duality Hacks.
Bliss of Nothing Man
Because Alexius’ experiences are perceived as nothing appearing as something, from his early 60s onwards, he’s not a teacher of something but the bliss of nothing.
Redundant Man
In his current life stage, Alexius is a messenger whose role is to make himself redundant so that you become the message of non-duality.
The story of Alexius is a kaleidoscopic journey of someone who has played every role in the theatre of life, only to realise that the theatre itself is projected from nothing.
Mumbo Jumbo Man
It takes more than one to write something, and there’s no more than that which is One. Consequently, this list is mumbo jumbo.
