Enlightenment does not give you more because there is no more than that which is one [draft]

One who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One does not know what it is, as that requires more than one. It is only in a world where there seems to be more than one is there something to know, namely that such a world does not exist because there is no more than that which is One. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

In a world where there seems to be more than one, it appears there is much to learn about how to function. In that context, Alexius knows something, for example how to type and publish Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings on the web.

Yet he does not use his worldly knowledge to enhance the belief in being someone but as a means to undo it. In the context of spirituality, Alexius knows nothing because it is that which is One, and it takes more than one to know something. This article is written in that context.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

There are no degrees of the Enlightenment of that which is One. It cannot be smaller or bigger because oneness is formless. In other words, to talk about levels of Enlightenment is an illusion regarding the Enlightenment of that which is One.

However, in a world where there seems to be more than one, there appear to be degrees and levels of everything. Thus you can experience glimpses of Enlightenment on many levels depending on how much the outward-facing senses are turned off.

But no matter how high the level, no glimpse comes close to the Enlightenment of that which is One because there are no levels in oneness. But since you become less definable for each glimpse, eventually, there is nobody to hide the formlessness of oneness.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

You will have no more than one glimpse of the Enlightenment of that which is One if you use your interpretation of this glimpse to promote yourself as someone with a vision for a better future full of love or whatever you imagine will turn you into a fantastic person.

When there is no need to use glimpses of Enlightenment to save the world but rather to undo the belief in it, you are set free to be used by the glimpses that will keep coming until you cannot tell them apart so that there is not something definable to experience, thus not someone definitive to hide the formless Enlightenment of that which is One.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

In a world where there seems to be more than one, it is a basic instinct to separate oneself from reality by fabricating a make-believe world – a child, for example, prefers to believe that Christmas presents come from Santa Claus, although he does not seem very realistic. And grown-ups believe being someone is real.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The Enlightenment of that which is One cannot be seen. That is why it appears hidden as long as you look for something.

The sun does not go down, things do not get smaller on the horizon, and the Earth is not flat, even though it looks like that from the perspective of someone in a world where there seems to be more than one. Read more about that here. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

One who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One is as alone as can be. Actually, everybody is, even though they cover their emptiness with a full calendar. But the Enlightened have no loneliness to hide because it knows it takes more than one to feel alone, and there is no more than that which is one.

Yet the Enlightened is excellent regarding relating to others because – like anything else in a world where there seems to be more than one – it is perceived as a symbol of oneness. Therefore, since all relations are the same, the Enlightened have no urge to make anyone last, thus no fear of its end, which is bound to come. Especially, because the reason for others to be in a relationship is to be part of something special, so they expect to be missed, and the enlightened never miss anything.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

When persons depart the Enlightened, it is not perceived as being left – just like the sun is not gone when it seems to go away at night. It is in the same place, whether it appears to go up or down. It is the Earth that is moving.

The Enlightened knows that if somebody is experienced to go away, it only seems so since the Enlightened itself is moving – or rather imagine to move because the Enlightened is not in a world where there seems to be more than one – like within the context of such a world, it is impossible to be someone in the virtual world of a computer game. Yet it is possible to feel it. But that is an illusion because you are not there but in front of the screen.

In other words, one who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One appears to be going somewhere, but it is a journey without distance.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The Enlightenment of that which is One is one perpetual present, so it cannot be brought into a world of linear time. In other words, you must leave a world defined by time and space to welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One. Fortunately, such a world is an illusion. Hence there is nothing to leave but the belief that the experience of a tangible world is real.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The Enlightenment of that which is One cannot be seen. That is why it appears hidden as long as you look for something. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Only someone who has bid the Enlightenment of that which is One welcome knows that a world where there seems to be more than one is a hallucination. Everybody, who believes they live in such a world, has the choice of continuing to believe that or believe the word of the Enlightened, which is that there is no more than that which is one and, consequently, a world where there seems to be more than one is an illusion. Yet very few choose to believe the message of someone who has bid welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One.

The choice can be compared to a child deciding whether to believe Santa Claus is real or not. Most want the excitement from believing the merry-go-round story about Santa, so they discard the fact that the friction from the speed needed to bring out presents to all the good children in one night would kill Santa the exact moment he sets off.

It is a downer for children to have Santa exposed as an illusion – just like it is a downer for most persons to hear that a world where there seems to be more than one is fake.

One who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One does not ask to be believed, but that you stop believing, a world where there seems to be more than one is real because when not believing there is more than one, it is impossible to suffer.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

In a world where there seems to be more than one, you always need to be and have more so you can establish there is more than that which is One.

Should you need to feel more spiritual, you want more people to express how wise you are, so you can use their praise to deny your darker side and thus show them you are more spiritual.

But you can never bid welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One if you want more since that is founded on the belief that there is more than that which is One. Nor can you welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One if you want to use it to become a spiritual person because it has no room for someone at all.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The unenlightened may have a high consciousness attained through many years of meditation. But one who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One has nothing because it takes more than one to have something.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Only one who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One can write Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings, not because such a person knows what to write but what not to write. Thus his personality does not prevent them from being written by themselves. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Those considering themselves to make a difference always want to become more, but the Enlightenment of that which is One neither makes you more nor less. Instead, it erases all memories of being somebody in a world where there seems to be more than one because there is no room for more in oneness. In other words, the Enlightenment of that which is One is not for you if you want to make a difference.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Since it takes more than one to welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One, somebody in a world where there seems to be more than one cannot be Enlightened by that which is One. However, a person may momentarily forget what and where it is. Hence there is not somebody to hide the Enlightenment of that which is One. Alexius is such a person, so he is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

One who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One, as well as someone who is not, knows nothing. However, those not to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One do their best to act as if they are spiritual and thus know a lot. In contrast, one who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One has no such need. There is nothing to be, nor to know – except that there is no more than the formlessness of that which is One.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The Enlightenment of that which is One does not illuminate anything. On the contrary, it is so bright that nothing can see. Besides, it requires more than one to see something, and there is no more than that which is one, as it is formless, thus endless. In other words, if you appear to be in a world where there seems to be more than one, you do not exist, and you know it. That is why everybody throughout history asked who am I? to establish they exist as someone definitive.

It is the tension from consistently doing something to appear as someone that makes you feel tangible. But the more you feel that, the more the Enlightenment of that which is One is fenced out.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Nothing in a world where there seems to be more than one lasts, regardless of perceived as spiritual or whatnot, because there is no more than that which is One since it is formless, thus without beginning and end. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Books and lectures may seem to provide some understanding about the Enlightenment of that which is One, but the more you think you understand, the further away you are from it. The same applies if you think you know it after reading Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings. They are not meant to be understood but to help you unlearn what you believe in having learned.

You cannot bid welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One by wanting it but by not wanting to be in a world where there seems to be more than one. Then you will not fight to have everything you know erased byThe Enlightenment of that which is One so that there is nothing left for the light to carry through a black hole into that which is One.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The unenlightened likes to teach others the way to Enlightenment, but the Enlightened know there is no way.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Alexius has no answer to the question, who am I. An explanation would be just as illusionary as the question, as it implies there is more than that which is One although it is formless, thus without beginning and end.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

To remain in control, the unenlightened prefer not to welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One but instead imitate the attributes of someone compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One has, such as detachment, assuming this will make them able to be in charge of adding the qualities of Enlightenment to their being, thus expanding their consciousness.

But the Enlightenment of that which is One does cannot expand anything. It does not cause something, as that requires more than one. For the same reason, one who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One does not remember what it is. However, one thing is crystal clear: There is no more than that which is One, so a world where there seems to be more than one is an illusion. This memory, though, is of no interest to those who want to expand their consciousness so that it seems as if they are more advanced than others.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The Enlightenment of that which is One has no effect, as that would require more than one. Hence it wipes out the idea of cause and effect.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

One who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One has vague memories of it. Due to those, a world where there seems to be more than one is seen as fake. But without the Enlightenment of that which is One, you cannot know the experience of more than one is a trick. Thus it becomes a belief that there is no more than that which is One. However, according to scientists, it is also a matter of belief that a world where there seems to be more than one is real because it is nothing but empty space.

Alexius’ childhood [rough draft]

Updated October 5, 2022

During childhood, we learn to alter our emotions, thus being the nice kid who never say or do anything that will make our parents unconfortable. Read more about pleasing your parents here. But everything comes in pairs in a world of duality. Therefore, since feelings never show up in a specific but dualistic way, you mess up duality by suppressing the unpleasant ones. This makes you feel disconnected, whereas going with the twofoldness of emotions, love and hate for example, makes you feel connected. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

This article is a continuation of ‘What if…?’ versus ‘it is what it is’. Hence it is about the perception ‘it is what it is,’ which reveals that every experience is dual. This is is so entertaining that, eventuality, you forget about duality.

Our present perception of ourselves and others is often based on one we made in the past. In the case of Alexius, in his childhood, he interpreted lots of experiences in a way that scared him. He projected it onto something outside himself that he judged as horrible to eliminate his fear.

Later, this method became his way of disassociating himself from his unpleasant feelings. Besides making him feel better, deciding what was wrong in the world made him feel like he was on top of it. Especially because he also got rid of his affectionate feelings in the same manner. In this case, though, he projected them onto something he decided to see as wonderful.

That seemed to work great, except when Alexius felt so bothered by something that his suppressed fear flared out in verbal attacks on others. Although his emotional explosion was not physically violent, his outbursts seemed as wild as when his father in Alexius’ childhood hit him across the dinner table or wherever he lost his temper. Since Alexius assumed this happened because he was unlovable, his original devotion and admiration for his father turned into hatred and disgust, which Alexius justified by constantly finding flaws in his father.

But since doing so, psychological speaking was an attack on his father, Alexius felt ashamed he was just as hostile as his father. Thus, he hid his hostility from his awareness by projecting it onto his stomach. And then, he unconsciously tightened the shoulders to hinder the breath from fully extracting, thus blocking the free flow of info from the body to the brain. Hence he could interpret the body’s signals as attacks on himself, justifying his grievances.

Another reason for distancing himself from his aggression was that if Alexius had stood by it, he might have hit his father, which was all his father needed to burst out in a rage so violent that it could have been the end of Alexius. Therefore, the only defence Alexius had was silence. On top of that, Alexius tried to look like a victim by getting moody and sick to make his father feel guilty for how he treated him (read more about making others feel guilty here).

However, this did not seem to work on his father – only on Alexius because he unconsciously knew they were the same. They both used each other as a scapegoat for their inner demon. In Alexius’ case, he first tried to hide it from his awareness by projecting it onto the darkness of the body, and when the suppressed energy exploded, he projected the unpleasantness onto his father. Since this is the most common way to get rid of psychological feelings, his father probably did it the same way. But this Alexius cannot know.

In 1972 Alexius returned from the Enlightenment of that which is One as nobody. Hence he could only remain in a world where there seems to be more than one by pretending to be somebody. This also applies to the years before the Enlightenment because we are nothing pretending to be something separated from something else. But since he was not aware of that before he bid welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One, this article is based on his memories of believing to be somebody instead of pretending it. But as you can read in the article, as a child, he already began to grasp that everything is pretence. Read more about pretending in HACK #1, Pretending to be someone definitive is liberation. Be aware that this story of Alexius’ childhood in is a compressed version. So if progress seems quick, it is not so. However, after having bid welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One, it was effortless. This is a photo, restored digitally, from the beginning of Alexius’ story. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Nor can he know if his description of his childhood is correct because it is done in retrospect. Besides, he is neither a physician nor a psychologist.* However, it seems he used the physical problems that arose from his congenital disability in the vertebrae to disguise his aggression and the events that appeared to have caused it in his childhood.

Since the malfunctioning vertebra pressed on a nerve going to the stomach, it was easy for him to use his bloated stomach as a hiding place for the shame he felt for being exploited by his mother. She used Alexius when he was petite and adorable as an object to give her the bodily affection his father could not provide her. Due to Alexius’ bloated stomach, the diaphragm hardened. And since it is the primary mover of the breath, his chest turned to stone. Thus it seemed the obvious place to hide his naivety and devotion, so his natural generosity would not cause him to be preyed on in the future.

Alexius grew up in a war zone, in the sense that his father suddenly hit him. His mother did nothing to stop it, so he felt terrified and completely alone. To disassociate himself from the feelings of horror, Alexius decided to see his father as evil and himself as good. By disassociating himself from being evil, he also separates himself from being lovely because that is defined by evil. Thus he looked for something beautiful outside of himself. But that was difficult. Mainly he judged what he saw as horrible. Alexius finally realised that the reason for this was the suppressed darkness inside himself. Fortunately, not suppressing it revealed there was also lightness because light and darkness are like two sides of the same coin in a world of duality. This polarity, and those that naturally followed, made him feel complete. Hence there was no fear of feeling evil and thus no need to hide it by perceiving the world as horrible. Consequently, the apparent difference between himself and the world he used to judge as either horrific or beautiful stopped making a difference. Maybe that is why he writes Alexius’ Duality Hacks. He does not know. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

However, since Alexius did not feel cherished with his compassion locked down, he concluded others would only love him if he gave them what they wanted. That seemed an unsolvable dilemma, so instead of saying no to others, Alexius walked away, closing down his gift of empathy. But that was probably best because others would have exploited him entirely otherwise.

But let us delve further into Alexius’ relationship with his father, who he perceived as the devil responsible for the evil he experienced in himself. Since Alexius did not want to realise it was his own shit he saw in his father, he hid his inner demon in the neck that had collapsed due to the malfunctioning vertebra.

Therefore, since the beast inside had been blocked from his awareness, he could hold onto a mental concept of himself as guiltless. He did not choose that because he could not embrace his darkness, but because Alexius thought he had to be above reproach to be loved by his parents. But as his parents only loved the image he had made, he felt lonely and complained about not being seen.

He repressed he had chosen to hide behind a false front of being lovesome by hiding what he assumed unlovable in problematic areas of his body. So when hatred popped, he interpreted the disturbance as a physical issue in the part of the body where he initially imagined hiding his hate. Therefore, since the resulting psychosomatic disorders became an unsolvable mystery, the helpless little boy full of sorrow, rage and fear remained hidden in the darkness of Alexius’ body. In hack #4.3 The toxic mix of physical and non-physical issues, you can read more about using the body to hide your feelings from your awareness.

You cannot appear in the world without pretending to be a person there. But the more you add to this pretending, the more you end up believing that you are what you pretend to be instead of that which is real. It happens to all of us. In the case of Alexius, it started when he was about six years old. Undoing it began 15 years later when he stepped aside to bid welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One.

When you do not try to hide sexual lust, grievances, envy, anger, negativity or whatever you consider politically incorrect, your thoughts and feelings regarding this are revealed to come in pairs. Negative thoughts, for example, come paired with positive ones. You already know this because again and again, one part of you senses something as good and right away, another part sees it as bad. If you do not try to decide between them but join their interplay, you feel as entertained by this polarity as any other. The more you experience everything in pairs, the less dangerous it is to be angry. Actually, you feel relieved because it is complemented with calmness. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

But after he became one who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One about 50 years ago (see hack #6.1 The Enlightenment of that which is One), his single-minded perception of being either horrible or wonderful was revealed as two-fold. Out of the inner unpleasantness came pleasantness and vice versa. He did not hold onto the specific feelings in this polarity but their interplay. It made him feel complete and not fragmented, like when he insisted on dividing a duality pair into separated elements

The higher you aim, the lower you must prepare to go because, in a world of duality, everything comes in pairs of opposing elements.

Going with the constant interaction of opposites, which 50 years later was entitled the duality flow, he had no singular feelings to hide. Thus there was no basis for concealing psychological problems in his body anymore. Therefore, since his psychosomatic disorders were reduced to physical issues, they could be fixed physically. Maybe not entirely, but at least to the extent that the experience of being someone inside a body became more comfortable. Read more about that in Sadness is a close friend of gladness.

Nevertheless, out of habit, his old single-minded point of view is often the first choice when he is confronted with something new. But right away, he remembers that everything comes in pairs of opposing elements that define each other in a world of duality. Then, as from an invisible crack in his conditioned feeling of disgust, a sense of delight unfolds.

He may not notice that the interaction of this polarity soon fades out because it sets off the experience of other duality pairs, for example, humility and boldness, serenity and lust, calmness and confusion, union and separation, and so on. This is so satisfactory that he does not sense when the interplay of one polarity is over, and another sets off. The beginning and end are another interaction of opposites that makes him feel complete.

Not trying to control the future, thoughts become unimportant. Hence they turn into insignificant noise in the background. Read more about that here.

Alexius is taking a break in the primordial forest of La Gomera. He does not label his dualistic reaction to this. Being someone somewhere is enough to feel the togetherness of twofoldness, thus going with the duality flow and having glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Nor does Alexius usually remember the names of opposing elements in the duality pairs he encounters. Going with the interaction of opposites, duality does not have to be labelled (read more about that here) – like one does not need to label the sides of a coin to sense its twofoldness. Thus thoughts are reduced to insignificant jabber in the background. See also Happiness comes from not interfering with thoughts and emotions, whereas sadness comes from trying to do that.

In a world of duality, a holistic experience is not singular but dualistic. In non-duality there is no wholemness to experience, as it takes more than one to be aware of something.

In other words, even though the experience of duality is imaginary (read more about that here), within the apparent reality of it, you feel incomplete if you separate the opposing elements making up the duality pairs. And you feel complete when you go with their interaction – just like the interplay of breathing in and out makes you fulfilled. That is, if you do not try to break off this flow of duality by dividing the breath into specific sections via yoga exercises, for example.

You do not have to be someone who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One to feel completed by dualism. All you need is to perceive your specific opinion of something as ‘it is what it is.’ That reveals it is twofold – for example happy/sad or angry/calm – wherefore you get the satisfaction of duality. We explore this in the following article, You must play the game of duality to hack it. This article ends with the below note about the Enlightenment of that which is One.

This is a simulation Alexius painted on his iPhone of the moment where the Enlightenment of that which is One is experienced to break out of a black hole, whereafter all experiences, including what you believed in being, is erased. Hence there is nobody to know that nothing falls through a black hole into everything. Read more about that here. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Bidding welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One is a bit like getting to the point of orgasm. Nothing else matters. But whereas an orgasm is driven by the desire for something, the absence of it is the propellant of the Enlightenment of that which is One.

This does not mean, you must become purer by avoiding sex or anything else, nor do you have to be harmonious, physically fit or breathe in a special way. All that is needed is to forget what and where you are because the Enlightenment of that which is One does not know of anything definable.

For the same reason, the Enlightenment of that which is One has not changed what you appear to be if you return to the fantasy of being in a world where there seems to be more than one. In the case of Alexius, for example, his psychosomatic disorders were unaltered.

But since he keeps getting glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One, he is always reminded, that he is not in a world where there seems to be more than one. Thus he feels like being in a roleplay, where one act out a role in a story governed by the gamemaste, which, in the case of a world where there seems to be more than one, is not somebody outside but inside of him, namely the brain.

Playing the brain’s game, the perception ‘it is what it is’ comes naturally. Therefore, since your interpretation of past events lose their specific meaning, there is not something definitive to maintain psychosomatic disorders – or to make one feel stuck in in the plot the combo made of fusing physical and non-physical issues.

See hack #4.1 The basic self versus the special one about the brain’s script and hack #4.3 The toxic mix of physical and non-physical issues about the unfortunate belief in a connection between the body and mental issues. Check HACK #6, Inner senses, enlightenment and glimpses of it about the Enlightenment of that which is One or glimpses of it. The latter is experienced in a world of duality, whereas there is nobody to experience the former since that requires more than one. Therefore, there is no magic or anything else to experience in the Enlightenment of that which is One – only in the glimpses of it.

To be continued in You must play the game of duality to have it undone.

*) Alexius has never talked with his parents about this. He left home for good one night when his parents were not there. First, he moved into a hippie commune and then into an old wooden house next to a gipsy camp, where he lived until he became a monk a few years later. Read a resumé of his physical life here. He has no education, by the way.

I am the Destroyer of Worlds!

Updated June 30, 2022

Painting with reflections of light on my iPhone

Alexius’ Duality Hacks talks about two kinds of Enlightenment: the Enlightenment of that which is One, which cannot be experienced as that requires more than one, and glimpses of it experienced via the inward-facing senses when the outward ones are partly closed. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

After a long, intense night of driving a taxi many years ago, Alexius forgot what and where he was, so there was nothing to hide the Enlightenment of that which is One.

When he later read part of The New Testament and Bhagavad Gita, some passages triggered memories of the Enlightenment of that which is One. The memories were vague, though, because Alexius did not experience the Enlightenment since it takes more than one. Nevertheless, the faint memories of something indefinable are enough to know that everything definable is an illusion. That is why he is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One.

The Enlightenment of that which is One is literally light, like when Jesus said: When your eyes become single, your whole body will be full of light – or like St. Paul when he was blinded by light – or like Arjuna according to Bhagavad Gita said after having been initiated by Krishna: »It is brighter than thousands of suns. I have become the destroyer of worlds …«

A dream can be compared to a simulated world meanwhile layered on top that which is real. As long as you believe the simulated world is real, it seems to cover that which is real.

However, Alexius would not put it like that. There is nobody in the Enlightenment of that which is One, so there is not a body to be full of light nor a world to destroy. The world is not there, and there is no memory of it ever having been. It is like a dream that is gone when you wake up in the morning.

The translations of both The New Testament and Bhagavad Gita differ from translator to translator, and as the above quotes are from memory, they may not be the exact words in your addition. But it does not matter because regardless of how you speak about it, the Enlightenment of that which is One cannot be described. In other words, what is said about it in Alexius’ Duality Hacks should not be taken as the real thing, nor as pointers towards it, as that requires more than one.

Imagine you want to describe an orange to somebody who has never seen or tasted an orange. For example, you say its colour is like an orange sunset, it is round like a ball and tastes like sweetened water. Yet the person you have given this description will never find out what an orange is by drinking sweet water from a rounded cup at sunset.

You have to see and taste it yourself to know what it is. However, in the context of the Enlightenment of that which is One, you will never know what it is because a person cannot be Enlightened. You as a person are erased in the Enlightenment of that which is One. Thus there is nobody to experience it.

In the Enlightenment of that which is One, the world is not anymore. Not because it has been destroyed, but because it has never been – except as a fantasy. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

If you return to a world where there seems to be more than one after the Enlightenment of that which is One, there is no more need to search for the meaning of life. You know there is no more than that which is One, so there is no life in a world where it seems to be more than one. Besides, searching for something requires more than one, so whatever you think you realise is unreal.

One who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One has no need to be forgiven or loved because there is no ‘I’ deciding what to do, thus, nobody to forgive or love. But when there is no ‘I’ to protect and preserve, there is the freedom to pretend to be someone. Therefore, in the context of a game like Monopoly, you may appear to be a red car one day and a blue one another day.

In short, there is no need to keep together an appearance of someone with coherent opinions and behaviour. The ‘I’ is a tool used like the legs, hands and eyes, for example.

Alexius, for example, has pretended to be a child, teenager, taxi driver, monk, husband, daddy, adult, businessman, millionaire, designer, teacher, photographer and recently non-teacher. See more of his appearances in Alexius, The Man.

Regarding the Enlightenment of that which is One, it is best to forget everything you have ever heard or read about it – including what is said in Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings. Any idea of how it looks is wrong. It has no shape. It is formless. Yet, if you look for something intangible, you still look for something. But if you do not believe to be someone definitive – or do not care about it – there does not seem to be something hiding that which cannot be seen, heard, felt or tasted.

CANCELLEX That which is real never ends

Updated January 5, 2022
