The belief in being someone is bananas

Updated July 5, 2022

The brain creates the experiences you have in a dream, so it seems you are somewhere else than in your bed. The same applies to the experiences you have when you assume to be awake, except you are not in a bed somewhere but nowhere, as everything experienced is created by the brain from out of nothing to make it look like there is more than that which is One. But since oneness is formless, thus endless, there is no more than that which is One. So if you believe to be in a world where there seems to be more than one, you trust the brain when it claims your experience of this is assembled from frequencies picked up by the sensory system, although your experience solely is fabricated by the brain. Read more about that here. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

No matter where you experience being in a dream, it is an illusion created inside you because you are in your bed. The same applies to where you experience being when you believe to be awake. In this case, however, it is not a dream happening inside you while you sleep in a heavenly bed.

There is no heaven, nor somebody having a dream or anything else because that requires more than one, and there is no more than that which is One since it is formless, thus endless. Alexius’ Duality Hacks, therefore, is as fake as anything else that calls for more than one. Nevertheless, when there appears to be someone who believes, that it is possible to be and have more than that which is One, Alexius’ Duality Hacks undo that belief.

One who is to be compared to ‘the Enlightenment of that which is One’ versus someone who is not [draft]

Updated July 21, 2022

Nobody walks around Enlightened in the world of appearances, as it is an illusion to appear as someone in a world where there seems to be more than one, and Enlightenment of that which is One is not an illusion. This image is of Alexius being shot by a little friend of his. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

One who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One has nothing to discuss and no need to participate in any communication!

On the other hand, the unenlightened need to belong to a particular group where they debate, meditate or hug to fabricate a feeling of oneness. However, by doing that, they establish that there is more than one, and oneness is an illusion.

The unenlightened assume that they make thoughts themselves and that theirs are a significant contribution to the world. But nobody is thinking anything – like radio only can transmit the signals it receives, a person only transmits the signals that come from the brain. Read more about that in hack #4.2 The brain’s script and how to perceive it to feel happy.

However, contrary to the radio, the unenlightened show off as self-made by giving the impression that the opinions it broadcasts are contemplated by itself. But all these ‘personal’ opinions are so boring for one who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One. This is not because they are unreal but because the unenlightened take them seriously. Their endless speculations are comparable to persons in a dream discussing what they are, neglecting they are nothing but a fantasy and that only the dreamer is real.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

One who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One never waits because such a person has nothing to hope for. Neither does such a person live in the now because there is no life in a world where there seems to be more than one.

Consequently, such a person does not live in the world. Well, nobody does. It only appears so – like there seems to be somebody in a movie.

In a world where there seems to be more than one – like in a movie – everything has an end. Thus the unenlightened cherish the ideas of god, heaven, reincarnation, or anything else that seems to extend its life as someone definitive.

On the other hand, one who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One deal with the world like playing a computer game. It is not possible to be in it, but it is possible to pretend it.

The unenlightened may ask, who is it, that pretends to be ‘there’ – but one who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One would never ask such a question. There is no more than that which is One, so nobody pretends to be ‘there.’

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

When you see a movie, you forget it is not real, and you seem to go, where the movie takes you.

When we watch a movie, we forget it is not real, and for a while, we seem to go where the film takes us, although we do not really believe it to be there. But, unfortunately, most seem to have forgotten that the movie called The World is not real. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The unenlightened likes to demonstrate their knowledge of ancient scriptures or popular saints, so they seem to be part of something greater. But one who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One has no need to be part of anything. On the contrary, to be part of something is an illusion because there is no more than that which is One.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

To have a quiet mind does not mean that there are no thoughts but that you do not believe in having created them – or anything else. In other words, thoughts and feelings seem to be rushing through one who is compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One just like in everybody else, but the Enlightened do not identify with them.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The unenlightened see differences everywhere, and so does one who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One. But the latter does not perceive them to make a difference.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The unenlightened is full of thoughts they assume are made by themselves and therefore represent their specific personality. In one who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One, there are also many thoughts, but there is no ‘I’ with the need to pick them up and put them together, so they seem to belong to someone specific. Hence thoughts are just passing by like birds in the sky.

This does not mean that one who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One observes the thoughts passing by. When an angry thought passes by, the Enlightened is angry – nothing more or less. And when thoughts of compassion pass by, the Enlightened is nothing but compassion at that moment.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

One who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One has, like everybody else, its personality. But unlike everybody else, it is not definitive but relative. In other words, the character can, just like the hands of the body, for example, be used in many ways, as there is no attachment to a special expression of it. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

One who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One knows there is no more than the formlessness of oneness. Most others assume there must be more.

This does not mean that one who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One knows about heaven or nirvana, how to unite with atman or god or transcend the self into something higher. On the contrary, the Enlightened see it as a waste of time to obtain such states of mind because it requires more than one, so you remain within the illusion of a world where there seems to be more than one.

In the context of such a world, one who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One prefers googling for how and where to get good food, clothes and other practical things that make it more comfortable to appear as someone, instead of learning about kundalini and otherworldly states to avoid participating in a world where there seems to be more than one.

One who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One takes part in a world where there seems to be more than one in the same way that television takes part in it. Whatever it receives is broadcast as received.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Being grounded, wise, or anything else definable is not an attribute of one who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One because someone like that does not need to be anything specific.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

You may think what can be seen is real. But it is the other way around. Only that which cannot be seen is real because reality is that which is One, which is formless. Therefore, since it is without dimensions, it is invisible.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The enlightened are not bothered by thoughts because there is no need to follow them to get the story they build up.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Someone who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one takes part in the world where there seems to be more than one in the same way that a televison takes part in it. Whatever is receives it plays out. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

One who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One takes part in a world where there seems to be more than one in the same way that television takes part in it. Whatever it receives, it broadcasts as received. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

One who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One does not feel alienated when taking part in a world where there seems to be more than one because the Enlightened does not believe to be there. Besides, it is not about being or having something. Actually, the Enlightened do not know there is something to be or have because the only thing known is that there is no more than that which is One. However, this is not the same as that which is One is known. It cannot be known because it takes more than one to know something.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

All light that can be seen is an illusion because it takes more than one to see something, and there is no more than the formlessness of that which is One. So, therefore, the light from that which is One is not something you see, nor is it something you become, as that also requires more than one.

To not see and neither be the light of that which is One, you must be willing to undo the belief in being someone. Forgetting what and where you are or not caring about being and having more than One accomplishes this.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

What you appear to be must die to welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One. This is probably why St. Paul, according to the New Testament, died daily.

In other words, nobody walks around Enlightened as that which is One. It is impossible because the Enlightenment of that which is One destroys a world where there seems to be more than one. However, not literally speaking because it is not real since there is no more than one. What is wiped out is the belief in being someone in a world where there seems to be more than one.

Having had that belief wiped out and then picking it up again, you appear to be just like everybody else in a world where there seems to be more than one. However, there is one big difference: You know from vague memories of the Enlightenment of that which is One, that there is no more than that which is One, so you do not believe to be in a world where there seems to be more than one – you pretend to be there.

Since others might perceive this as if one who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One is detached, they conclude that they need to be detached to be Enlightened. But it is the other way around. You need not be or know anything to welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Alexius is not full of light, but of nothing, as there is nothing else than that which is one and it takes more than one to be Alexius. Yet in a world where there seems to be more than one he is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Alexius is not full of light but of nothing, as there is no more than that which is One, and it takes more than one to be Alexius. Yet, in a world where there seems to be more than one, he is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Though Alexius is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One, he does not know what it is. So if you have the impression that he knows something, you may have fooled yourself into thinking his writings are based on understanding. On the contrary, as a vessel, he types what he receives without understanding it.

Fortunately, there is not something to understand regarding the Enlightenment of that which is One. What is understandable has a beginning and an end, whereas that which is One is formless, thus endless. That is why the Enlightenment of that which is One does not supply you with a higher understanding but leaves you with nothing to hide there is no more than that which is One.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

»The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.« Jesus about Enlightenment, Matt 6:22, King James Bible.

Alexius’ body is not full of light. The Enlightenment of that which is One is formless, so it cannot be in a body defined by time and space. Besides, everything in the body is an illusion because making it takes more than one.

For the same reason, there is no way leading to the Enlightenment of that which is One. No worries. It is not needed because that which is One is formless, thus endless, so it cannot be left. Hence there is no Alexius or anybody else to Enlighten.

What sort of external music resembles the internal harmonies

Updated June 29, 2022

R-699747-1323974749.jpeg

If you are used to the ethereal music that the inward-facing senses reveal when the outward ones are partly turned off, memories of these harmonies can be triggered when listening to external music from artists like Charalambides. This image grabbed from the web is a cover from their album ‘A Vintage Burden.’

Maybe Mozart got inspired to compose music by listening to the ethereal harmonies inside him. This is not to say that his music sounds precisely like inner music. But the flow in his music resembles the effortless elegance and beauty of ethereal harmonies arising from inside when the outward-facing senses are more or less ignored. However, this does not apply when Mozart neglects the natural flow to reach a peak. There is no drama in ethereal harmonies because they accompany one perpetual present, which has no beginning and end, thus no drama.

Bells and similar sounds that do not add to something specific resemble inner ethereal music. But not in the monotonic way of the bells in the churches because ethereal music is non-structured harmonies.

The organic way contemporary electronic music moves without going nowhere has much resemblance to the ethereal harmonies. However, contemporary electronic music is about producing ambient textures that seem without beginning or end. It uses glitches, other sonic artefacts, slowed-played steel guitar, analogue or synth sounds mixed with piano loops, chimes and bells to accomplish this. However, these effects result in a harder edge and a less transparent sound than the inner music, which has a crystal clear but transparent sound with no sonic artefacts needed to produce the spiciness. Actually, it arises from not trying to achieve anything.

But new-age music that sounds like dreamy symphonies of otherworldly states – Karunesh and Marsen Jules, for example – does not resemble ethereal harmonies but the new-age fantasy of a merry-go-round world, where everything is good. This is a childish dream because goodness can only be experienced when contrasted with evil. See hack #4.4 The duality flow goes to non-duality.

Ethereal music is not symphonic or anything else that suggests a progression in linear time. And it is not otherworldly because it echoes that which is One, and there is nothing but oneness since it is formless, thus endless. But in a world where there seems to be more than one, oneness cannot be comprehended. Thus the random sounds of ethereal music united in one perpetual present are most likely remembered as they fit together like a symphony moving forward in time.

When Alexius experiences the world of the outward-facing senses, he does not try to change it into the harmonies of the inward-facing senses. Instead, he goes with the music of the outward-facing senses. But he does not do it to drown out the inward-facing senses. Instead, he uses them to relate to the music of the outward-facing senses. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Experiencing the world of the outward-facing senses, Alexius does not listen to music resembling the inner harmonies. Instead, he adjusts to the world of the outward-facing senses and its music. He likes Editors and Philip Glass. And he loves Boleros from the 50s, especially Lucho Gatica. He also likes the Danish singer Bjørn Fjæstad. And guitar virtuosos, such as Dean McPhee and Derek Gripper. The latter is a classical guitarist from Cape Town, specialising in the kora music of Mali. Alexius cannot stop listening to Beth Gibbons, especially in Górecki – Symphony No. 3. Recently he discovered Adrianne Lenker.

A LIST OF ARTICLES MENTIONING THE INNER MUSIC
This article is a continuation previous article The four aspects of Enlightenment and how to sample them in regards to ethereal music, which also is mentioned in the following article The ins and outs of the inward-facing senses, plus in the below ones:

A LIST OF MODERN MUSIC THAT RESEMBLES INNER MUSIC
Below is a list of electronic artists producing soundscapes that resemble inner music. Please be aware that although the inner music is impersonal, pointing out specific music with a similar vibe is personal. The list was made in 2015 and is far from complete. If you click on the below links, you can hear the music on Boomkat.

On Boomkat, you can also listen to two of Alexius’ favourite musicians, namely Lubomyr Melnyk and James Blackshaw. They are influenced by minimalist composers and European classical music, incorporating overtones, drones and repeating patterns. Drones, although, only in the case of James Blackshaw.

They have made an album together, almost bringing you into a not-knowing state. But not entirely because you are dependent on the atmosphere that the music creates, and in a state of not-knowing, you are not reliant on anything. Click here to enjoy the last track from the album.

The four aspects of Enlightenment and how to sample them [draft]

Updated August 12, 2022

The echo of that which is one, which often is symbolised by the words Aum, Sohang or The Word of God and which comes from the edge of the universe can be heard or felt right now via the inner senses, because they are not limited by time and space.

The echo of that which is One is often symbolised by the words Aum, Sohang or The Word of God. It comes from the edge of the universe, but since the inward-facing senses are not limited by time and space, using them, it takes no time to go there to hear or feel the echo of oneness coming out of a black hole. See Going back to the first moment of duality.

None of the facets of the Enlightenment of that which is One can be experienced because it requires more than one to be aware of something. Thus when you hear, feel, see or taste it, you do not experience the Enlightenment of that which is One but glimpses of it. This article is about how to experience these glimpses with the inward-facing senses while still in the world of the outward-facing senses. Remember that as a movie trailer is not the movie, the glimpses are not the Enlightenment of that which is One

And be aware that the ways described below to have glimpses of Enlightenment will not work if you look forward to being or having more, as their function is to undo the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one. This does not mean you must restrain yourself from getting more but not care about it.

HEARING OR FEELING THE ECHO OF ONENESS
As already implied, oneness cannot be revealed because that calls for more than one. However, when you hear or feel it echoed from the edge of the universe, the belief in being and having more than One is, eventually, undone. Hereafter, it does not appear to hide there never was or will be more than that which is one.

In other words, the more you ignore the world defined by time and space, produced by the outward-facing senses, the more a world not limited by time and space is experienced by the inward-facing senses. Without time and space, it takes no time to go to the edge of the universe (read more about that here), where the echo of oneness has been used to create a fantasy world of time and space which seems genuine until you hear or feel this primordial vibration, often symbolised by Aum, Sohang or The Word of God.

This is the Hindi symbol of ´sohang´ – grabbed from the web

The Hindi symbol of Sohang.

»With every exhalation the soul recites ‘Hang’ and with every inhalation it recites ‘So’. Thus every soul counts the mantra of Sohang (So plus Hang) twenty-one thousand and six-hundred times every day and night.« Gherand Samhita, stanza 84.

In Eastern religions the echo of oneness is symbolised by the word ‘Aum’ or ‘Sohang’ and in the New Testament by ‘The Word of God’: »In the origin The Word had been existing and That Word had been existing with God and That Word was himself God.« John 1:1, Aramaic Bible in Plain English.

One who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One perceives ‘The Word’ in the above quote as a metaphor for the unpronounceable vibration you hear or feel when not being totally focused on the world of the outward-facing senses. The unenlightened, however, speculates about what exact words this is hinting at, even though there is not a single verse in the Bible referring to ´The Word of God´, as if it is written or can be spoken.

The vibration that AUM or Sohang symbolizes comes from the edge of the universe, which is only far away if you let yourself be deceived by a world defined by linear time as experienced through the outer senses.

Glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One are echoes of oneness coming out of a black hole at the edge of the universe. However, this is not far away when you ignore the outward-facing senses and their world defined by time and space and go with the inward-facing ones instead because they are not ruled by time and space. Thus you can see, hear, feel or taste the echo of oneness regardless of where you appear to be in the world of the outward-facing senses.

A way to ignore the outward-facing senses so you can hear or feel the echo of oneness with the inward-facing senses is not to be exclusive but inclusive. When you include all that you hear or feel completely unedited – or are willing to – the sum of everything in the world of the outward-facing senses is heard by the inward-facing senses. It sounds or feels like a humming of nothing and everything simultaneously. And it feels like you are both in the world of the outer and inward-facing senses.

You can also use the word Aum or Sohang as a launching pad for hearing or feeling the humming coming from the edge of the universe. Please read the article Life has no secrets to learn how to do it without spending years meditating, chanting and whatnot.

If you want to read especially about the inward-facing senses, check the previous article Prologue to the inward-facing senses, Enlightenment and its glimpses, or the next one The Enlightenment of that which is One and glimpses of it and The ins and outs of the inward-facing senses, or the older one Beyond the senses – or the outward-facing senses versus the inner ones.

When your eyes become single, there is no separation to hide the enlightenment of that which is one. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

When your eyes become single, there is no separation to hide the Enlightenment of that which is One.

THE THIRD EYE
Seeing glimpses of oneness is done via the inward-facing sense called the third eye, a single ‘eye’ in the middle of the two eyes above the two eyebrows.

»The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.« Matt 6:22, King James Bible. This makes much sense to one who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One but obviously not to the unenlightened, because in the new international version of the New Testament this sentence has been changed to: »The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light.«

How this is meaningful to the unenlightened, Alexius does not know. But he knows it makes no sense to one who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One.

When you for whatever reason – maybe due to being very desperate, drunk or tired – are unable to focus, the Enlightenment of that which is One is bid welcome. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The enlightenment of that which is One is bid welcome by completely ignoring the outward-facing senses. First time this happened for Alexius was when he returned home totally exhausted after a long nights work of taxi driving and simply was too tired to focus.

In other words, to be offbeat, exhausted, confused or maybe even drunk is a way to forget the outward-facing senses, so that there is no world to see and therefore nothing to hide the Enlightenment of that which is One. In fact anything that is not part of a scheme to fabricate images defined by time and space will do.

If that includes drugs Alexius does not know, because he has not experienced them. Yet he can say from looking at others taking drugs, that it seems to be more about expanding the consciousness of a world where there seems to be more than one than undoing it.

»Direct your eyes toward the middle of the eyebrows and meditate upon your own self. It is Shambhavi Mudra, the most secret practice of all the Tantra scriptures.« Gherand Samhita, stanza 59.

The positioning of the body, while activating the third eye, does not matter.

The positioning of the body, while activating the third eye, does not matter, as long as the body does not bother you.

Practically speaking you can turn off the visual outward-facing sense and open the third eye by closing the eyes and lightly, without any concentration, hold a finger on the third eye. You can do it anywhere in any position. However, it is best to do in a dark room, so you do not think the revelation of light comes from the world of the outward-facing senses.

If something like this is dechiffered into different colors and forms, you will have glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one, but if you do not judge any colors or forms to be different from each other the apparent differences will explode into one bright light.

If having a vision like this and it is deciphered into an experience of different colours and shapes around a centre, it is a glimpse of ‘the Enlightenment of that which is One.’ If you on the other hand do not judge the apparent different colours and forms to make a difference or to come from somewhere specific, one bright and colourless light, that seems to explode from out of nowhere wipes out all thoughts collected to form you into someone definitive, so nobody gracefully falls into the formlessness of oneness.

Since the eyes always looks for the greatest contrast of light, your closed eyes automatically search the darkness until they move inwards and upwards towards the third eye from where they settle at a light show exposed at such a speed that the apparent contrast between the splashes of colours hardly can be perceived.

»Touching eyeballs as a feather, lightness between them opens into the heart and there permeates the cosmos.« Sochanda Tantra, stanza 13.

If your eyes do not automatically move inwards and upwards into the area of the inward-facing senses above the eyebrows, you may help them by gently pressing the thumb and middle finger on the outer corner of the eyeballs, while having the middle finger on the third eye.

However, this is not really commendable, since even the slightest effort requires focus, and it is not focus but defocus that bids welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One or glimpses of it. Furthermore this may give you the impression that certain physical postures can open the third eye.

None of the inward-facing senses are reached via a specific posture or way of thinking. But deactivating the outward-facing senses can be achieved in this way, so if you find a specific technique that seems helpful regarding this by all means go for it. However, the fastest way to deactivate the outward-facing senses is to not know what and where you are.

A way to to deactivate the outward-facing senses is to use an eye massager with infrared heat fusion technology, such as Breo iSee4 Eye Massager. Besides from turning off the outward-facing sense of seeing, the heat soften the eyes. And when they are relaxed, they do not focus. Hence they automatatically turn inwards and upwards to merge with the third eye.

»… and there shall be no light there, and they need no candle there, neither the light of the sun, for the Lord God giveth them light.« Rev. 22:5

The thought construction that seems to keep you together as someone tangible is left at the edge of a black hole.

The thought construction that seems to keep you together as someone tangible must be left at the edge of a black hole so that there is nothing to gracefully fall into the formlessness of oneness.

When your eyes are so soft that they do not focus, there is nothing to prevent glimpses of Enlightenment to merge into one bright white light, namely the Enlightenment of that which is One. It extracts all thoughts, that you have stored to appear as someone definitive, and leave them at the edge of what may look like a black hole, so there is nobody to experience the nothingness of you gracefully falling into the formlessness of oneness.

You can read more about a black hole in the article The ins and outs of a black hole.

Enlightenment is not an out-of-the-body experience as it is not an experience, but its preliminary stage of bliss and compassion, which is connected to the world via the pineal gland, is an experience that is often perceived to be out-of-the-body.

Enlightenment of that which is one is not an out-of-body experience. It is not an experience at all. But its preliminary stages of bliss and compassion, which in the world may to be connected with the pineal gland, is something that may be felt as an out-of-body experience.

Most, however, are afraid of loosing their identity, so they settle for glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One, which is like a blissful out-of-body experience – presumably linked to the pineal gland. It appears to foster states like that.

If you are not tempted to stop at this state of bliss, but to go where someone definitive cannot go, namely into the Enlightenment of that which i One, it is not an out-of-body experience. On the contrary, there is no experience at all, nor consciousness, because to be awate of something requires more than one.

If you want to leave the Enlightenment of that which is One and be reshaped as someone definitive, you must pick up the thoughts, that was left at the edge of a black hole so you could enter it as nobody.

Returning from the Enlightenment of that which is One to a world where there seems to be more than one, you cannot know, you have been at the other side of a black hole, because you were not there and there is no other side, since there is no more than that which is one. In other words, the person you appear to be is not Enlightened. Yet, due to vague memories of that which is one, you are to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One.

It is not possible though for somebody else to know, this. You will hardly grasp it yourself. But for sure you grasp, that a world where there seems to be more than one is not real.

ac1d3bc0-5bae-4dac-921e-8c1c4d9f64e1ETHEREAL HARMONIES
When you thoroughly enjoy the music of the outward-facing, it reminds you of the airy music you can experience with the inward-facing senses. It is full of ethereal harmonies floating out of a black hole at the edge of the universe.

»I heard a sound from heaven like the sound of cascading waters and like the rumbling of loud thunder. The sound I heard was also like harpists playing on their harps.« Revelation 14:2, Holman Christian Standard Bible.

Being used to take a ride in the world of the inward-facing senses, that opens up when the outward-facing senses are not fully used to experience a world defined by time and space, you sense the first sentence of this quote refers to ‘Aum’ or ‘Sohang’ or ‘The Word of God,’ and that the second one to ethereal music.

»At midnight when not a single sound is heard, close your ears with both hands and do Purak Pranayama. Listen to the sounds in your right ear which are very pleasant. The first sound that you will hear is of a pine bird, the second of a flute, third of a cloud, fourth of a dragon bee, the fifth of a ringing bell and then of a gong of metal. Sounds of trumpet, drum etc. are also heard.

Except for having scim read The New Testament and Bhagavad Gita Alexius have not read religious scripts. Therefore, most of the words in the quote from Gherand Samhita are meaningless to him. But since he hears inner music himself, it is easy to pick the essence of the quote, the bliss of listening to ethereal harmonies.

Besides these, many other sounds are heard if it is practiced daily. These sounds are Anahata (unproduced) and come on their own accord. Nada is related to light. Light is related to mind, so mind gets itself merged in a sound which is the seat of the Lord. Therefore, practice of Bhramari gives Siddhi of Samadhi (i.e., makes Samadhi possible).

Mind gets eightfold more pleasure in the act of meditation than Japa (repeating God’s name), eightfold more interest in Tapas (penance) than the meditation, and eightfold more interest in music or sound than the Tapas. There is nothing greater than music.« Gherand Samhita, stanzas 77-81. Besides for the word ´Nada´ meaning music Alexius does not know the meaning of all the Hindi words in this quote, but hearing inner music himself – though not so bombastic as described in this quote – he gets the overall meaning of it.

Using noise-cancelling headphones is a great way to close off the outward-facing sense of hearing. Alexius prefers in-ear headphones, though, as they can also be used when going to bed.

A practical way to stop hearing the world of the outward-fencing senses and start listening to the music of the inward-fencing senses is to put both thumbs in your ears. But you can also use a noise-cancelling headphone or an in-ear headphone. Then without focusing or trying to define anything, be nothing but the ethereal music coming to you from what may seem far away.

For tuning in, it is best not to go with the vibrations from the left ear. They often are the sounds of a busy mind. So instead, follow the harmonies that appear to come from an empty space a bit outside of the right ear. That said, do not pay too much attention to directions.

Maybe you will not hear ethereal harmonies immediately but the humming symbolised by ‘Aum’ or ‘Sohang’ or ‘The Word of God.’ If so, go with this glimpse of the Enlightenment of that which is One. It could also be that you ‘hear’ thoughts. But they will not disturb you from hearing eternal harmonies if that is what you want – nor from having visions of light, infinite sweetness or sublime intimacy.

Tasting the sweetness of oneness helps you not to focus on the world of the outward-facing senses. Thus glimpses of Enlightenment coming from the world of the inward-facing senses become the foundation for perceiving the world of the outward-facing senses. Since this, eventually, results in not perceiving the apparent differences to make a difference, there is no separation to hide that which is one. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

THE TASTE OF ONENESS
Tasting the most exquisite food, one is reminded about the taste of oneness, if not entirely in the world of the outward-facing senses. It can be compared to the transparent taste of the foam in a milkshake with a few drops of honey and maybe with a hint of either liquorice, strawberry, or mint. It can also be compared to how marshmallows – especially those with a flavour of strawberries – interact with the palate.

Some Chinese Herb Formulations or teas – for example Spring Dragon Longevity Tea – enhance the taste of oneness, provided you already are in touch with it. The same applies to the Ayurvedic teas, that Alexius have tasted and most teas including liquorice.

But it is best not to compare the taste of oneness or other glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One to anything else, as all comparisons are based on definitions from the past and, therefore, cancel out the ever-present glimpses of Enlightenment.

»Your lips drip nectar, my bride, honey and milk are under your tongue.« Song of Solomon 4:11.

»A land flowing with milk and honey« Exodus 3:8

»Whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never be thirsty, but the water that I shall give him shall be in him as a well of water springing up into everlasting life.« John 4:10-4:14.

Even though this taste is called the nectar of life in some scriptures, you should not expect it to make you younger or inject you with more energy in the world of the outward-facing senses. Getting more is an illusion based on the belief that there is more than that which is One.

One way of undoing this belief is not to focus because without it, the apparent differences in a world where there seems to be more than one become blurred. Thus different appearances do not seem to hide, there is no more than the formlessness of that which is one. Fortunately, the side-effect of the technique for the taste of oneness is defocusing.

The inner sense of taste not only stops the compulsive focusing on forms but also your cravings for sweets and to experience  something definable. The taste of life is always there and it is free. Neither do you have to meditate or be pure to consume it. All you have to do is to put your tongue behind the uvula. And if you cannot do that, it is also OK, because doing so is just meant to help you deactivating the outer senses and the only thing that really accomplish that, is the intention to do it. Just like even you are at a springboard, you will not dive from it, if that is not your intention of going there.

The inward fasing sense of taste does not only diminish the compulsive focusing on something definitive but also your cravings for more, for example sweets. The taste of oneness is always there. It is free, and you do not have to meditate or be pure to have it. All you have to do is to put your tongue behind the uvula and devote yourself to the taste of oneness. If you cannot get your tongue there, it is not a problem. Doing so is meant to help you deactivating the outward-facing senses and the only thing that really accomplish this, is the intention of doing it. In other words, reaching the uvula with your tongue is good enough. Actually, when you hold the underneath of your tongue on the soft area beneath the uvula you feel the empty breath (see What does ‘the empty breath’ feel like?) and get the sweet taste of oneness. This is not a metaphor, nor second-hand knowledge but Alexius’ experience from tasting the subleness of oneness on both sides of the uvula. As a result of this technique, the empty breath is activated. It expands the breathing, which makes the the body feel glorious. And the soft taste of oneness prevents you from focusing on the world of the outward-facing senses. Thus you feel absorded by the happiness of abstractness.

The taste of oneness unfolds under the tongue, when it is moved behind the uvula (the skin flap hanging down in the back of the mouth at the entrance to the throat). Placing it there makes you feel like you are not in the world even though you appear to be there. Besides it cutbacks the need to focus on the world of the outward–facing senses and also the longing for more, especially the craving for sweets. That is if you devote yourself to it – no techniques work without devotion. Yet devotion can work without a technique.

To get the tongue behind the uvula you may have to press it backwards for a long time, maybe for months, and finally use a finger to push it the rest of the way. However, this may make you feel as if you are about to vomit. No worries – it is just a feeling. When you are used to keeping your tongue there, it is easy, and there is no sense of vomiting.

»Khechari Mudra is turning the tongue backwards into the cavity of the cranium and turning the eyes inwards toward the eyebrow center.« Haha-Yoga Pradipika, Chapter 3, stanzas 32-37.

To taste the sweetness of oneness, called Khechari Mudray in the above quote, you do not have to literally replicate the ancient technique. Neither do you have to push the tongue behind the uvula as Alexius wrote above. Reaching the soft area underneath the front of the uvula with the backside of the tongue will do. See also the explanation in the above caption.

THERE IS NO WAY TO THE ENLIGHTENMENT OF THAT WHICH IS ONE BUT A LOT TO GLIMPSES OF IT
The
way to bid welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One or glimpses of its four facets is not to be pure. Neither is it about how you breathe, eat or anything else you appear to do in the world of the outward-facing senses. Still, things like that may be helpful in deactivating the outward-facing senses.

But no technique can do that if it is not the intention of executing it. In other words, the first step is solely about purpose. If that is to deactivate the outward-facing senses, many techniques may work. The second step is to devote yourself to the lucid journey in the world of the inward-facing senses.

These steps only apply to having glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One and not to welcome in its entirety, as it takes more than one to take any step.

The part of the world of the outer senses you want to experience is not meant to be blurry but in focus, so what you see is definable. It is the other way around with the world of the inner senses,. In other words, the two worlds does in most cases not work well together. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The part of the world of the outward-facing senses you want to experience is not supposed to be blurry. It must be in focus to make the experience is definable. It is the other way around in the world of the inward-facing senses. Your experiences there are abstract. Hence mixing the two worlds does not work out.

DAILY LIFE WITH GLIMPSES OF THE ENLIGHTENMENT OF THAT WHICH IS ONE
It is probably best not to be active in the world of the outward-facing senses while having visions of light. This is because the visual glimpses of Enlightenment can become so intense that the world of the outward-facing senses hardly is sensed.

However, the technique for tasting the sweetness of oneness can be carried out while being active in the world of the outward-facing senses. The same applies to enjoy the ethereal harmonies if you hear them without putting your thumbs in the ears. And it also applies to hearing or feeling the vibration that Aum, Sohang and The Word of God symbolise. See Life has no secrets.

This may result in the experience of a world that seems less defined. Not to the extent, though, that you cannot move around but that you feel you are carried around.

That is, as long as you do not take the full tour of these glimpses because it ends in the formlessness of oneness, thus no longer appearing as someone in a world where there seems to be more than one, nor in oneness since that requires more than one. You are not someone at all, so there is no memory or consciousness of ever having believed to be that. Instead, there is what always has been and will be, namely that which is one.

The Hebrew word Elohim was originally a symbol for one perpetual present.

The word god, which is a translation of the Hebrew word Elohim, was at first meant to be a metaphor for that which is one and never ends. Hence the word god was originally a symbol for one perpetual present. As this is not understandable, when you believe to be in a world of linear time, the meaning of the word gradually was changed, so that god became a symbol for one almighty force believed to have created the world defined by time and space in its own image.

But what is not definable cannot create something definable. Hence a world defined by time and space is an illusion and so is the perceived creator of such a world.

APPENDIX ABOUT THE QUOTES
The terminology of yoga and so-called holy scriptures – apart from The New Testament and Bhagavad Gita – is unknown to Alexius. Thus he does not know the scriptures quoted in this article. He found the quotes by searching the internet.

When everything is included, there does not appear to be something outside you. Consequently, nor inside, as that requires there is something outside you. Hence there is nothing but the formlessness of oneness.

Alexius does not sympathise with Eastern or Western religions or new age philosophy. Generally, they exclude what they judged as wrong by projecting it onto non-believers to make them tainted and themselves pure. Yoga, for example, is often based on meditation, where you must exclude something deemed evil to become one. But oneness is formless, thus endless, so you can neither add nor subtract from it. If you try to do that, you enhance the belief that there is more than that which is One.

Prologue to the inward-facing senses, Enlightenment and its glimpses

Updated August 12, 2022

Inner visions of light of anything at all is not the enlightenment of that which is one, as it takes more than one to have a vision. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

It takes more than one to have a vision, so no matter how impressive it may be, it is not the Enlightenment of that which is One but glimpses of it. It is comparable to a movie trailer, a sample of the whole, thus not undivided. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The world of the outward-facing senses is experienced via seeing, hearing, feeling and tasting/smelling something that seems physical. The world of the inward-facing senses can also be seen, heard, felt and tasted. However, you do not get a sense of something tangible but abstract. It is also here that you bid welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One.

It comes through a hole that sometimes seems black. See the article The ins and outs of a black hole. But following the light into it is the end of both the outward and inward-facing senses. Hence the experience of something is over. Therefore, if you are aware of something, you are not in the Enlightenment of that which is One but outside, having glimpses of it via the inward-facing senses.

If you for a moment forget what and where you are you are, a world where there seems to be more than one does not seem to hide the enlightenment of that which is One.

You get inside the Enlightenment of that which is One when the glimpses of it are not perceived to differ because then is no separation to define you as someone definitive. Hence there is not somebody to fight the construction of thoughts that have replaced the formlessness of oneness with someone definitive is extracted by an exceptionally bright white light. Nor is there anybody to be aware of that everything you ever believed to be and have is gone. Consequently, there is nothing to gracefully fall through the hole that is no more because there is no experience to hide the formlessness of oneness.

Therefore, since what you believe in being has not been Enlightened, you appear to be the same if returning to the experience of being someone definitive. However, you do not believe this experience is real due to vague memories of formlessness. Hence you are to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One.

Since the Enlightenment of that which is One has no beginning and end, someone definitive cannot experience it. But glimpses of it – for example travelling through lucid worlds of light – have a beginning and an end, so they can be experienced by someone definitive. This is done through the inward-facing senses, when the outward ones are toned down.

The outward and inward-facing senses
The outward-facing senses are geared to experience a world perceived as outside you, thus separated from you, whereas the inward-facing senses help you experience a world that does not seem to be separated from you. But it does not mean this world is inside you. There is neither anything inside nor outside of you, as that requires more than one, and there is no more than that which is one.

It is the same within the context of a world where there seems to be more than one, because, scientifically speaking, it consists of empty space. Therefore, what you experience is make-believe – also reading reads that it may be easier to undone this deception by turning down the volume of the outward-facing senses, and turning up the volume of the inner ones.

If you seem to see an E here, you are using the E, you have made in your mind, to hide all the empty space.

If you believe in seeing an ‘E’ here, you focus on seeing something recognisable to twist empty space into something. The empty space is not the formlessness of oneness, but when you do not imagine it is a world defined by time and space, no substantial elements seem to hide the formlessness of oneness. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

PARTIAL DEVOTION TO THE INWARD-FACING SENSES RESULTS IN GLIMPSES OF ENLIGHTENMENT
If you do not constantly focus on something specific, the outward-facing senses cannot fabricate the experiences of a world defined by time and space. Therefore, the more you defocus, the more the definable world of the outward-facing senses is complemented by the abstract world of the inward-facing senses. Thus you get glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One. You see light shows if you are visual-minded, hear ethereal music if you are auditory-minded, and taste or feel it if you are emotional-minded.

In the article The four aspects of Enlightenment and how to sample them, you can read how to see, hear, feel and taste glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is One.

The purpose of the inward-facing senses is to draw you into their abstract world, thus undoing the belief of being someone definitive – like a moth cannot help but follow its attraction to the flame, even though it is going to be the end of it.

Mixing something is based on the belief in separation, so do not try to mix glimpses of light with glimpses of ethereal music, for example. Just welcome the glimpse of the Enlightenment of that which is One that seems to come your way. But do not try to hang onto a glimpse or to have it repeated. If it changes into another aspect of the Enlightenment of that which is One, go with that.

These glimpses, as already noted, are not the Enlightenment of that which is One because it has no room for someone being conscious of something since that requires more than one. This does not mean what you believe in being is transformed by the Enlightenment of that which is One into oneness. Instead, it is dismissed as an illusion.

Practically speaking, it might be best to downplay the visual glimpses of Enlightenment in daily life. It is because you will have a hard time navigating the world of the outward-facing senses while having visions of light. But in most cases, you can safely go with glimpses of hearing, feeling or tasting hearing, feeling or tasting the Enlightenment of that which is One.

The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The healing of the body caused by partly being devoted to the inward-facing senses is a side effect that helps you not worry about its appearance and inevitable end. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

THE INWARD-FACING SENSES AND THE BODY
Devotion to the inward-facing senses will heal your body because it will give the body the peace it needs to heal itself. This may not include genetically caused diseases, though. However, due to the tranquillity the inward-facing senses entail, a genetically created condition does not generate fear. Thus it is easier to deal with (see hack #4.3 The toxic mix of physical and non-physical issues).

But suppose the body’s wellbeing is the purpose of devoting yourself to the inward-facing senses. In that case, you cannot be attentive to the world of the inward-facing senses since that requires having no specific focus, so the world of the inward-facing senses fades out without you even noticing it. Thus the body is not being nurtured by it.

TOTAL DEVOTION TO THE INWARD-FACING SENSES BIDS WELCOME THE ENLIGHTENMENT OF THAT WHICH IS ONE
Complete devotion to the inward-facing senses welcomes the Enlightenment of that which is One, which immediately erases all memories of you being someone definitive. As you are not there anymore and never were, there is nobody to know how long time this takes. Besides, the Enlightenment of that which is One is not a process but one perpetual present.

But at first, it may seem to be a process, and as long as that is the case, the brain that produced your experiences as someone definitive is not finished. Thus it can be rebooted and recreate the experience of you as someone definitive. But since it takes more than one to be anything, the reestablished experience cannot contain the Enlightenment of that which is One. So although you are to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One, you look like you used to. The only difference is that you know it is not you.

However, as soon as the Enlightenment of that which is One does not seem to be a process, the brain cannot be rebooted and, therefore, not produce the experience of you as a substantial being in a tangible world. Hence there is nothing to hide that which always has been and always will be that which is you, namely the formlessness of oneness. There is, of course, nobody to be aware of this since it takes more than one to be conscious of something.

In the water but not of it. The image is grabbed from the web

IS THE ENLIGHTENMENT OF THAT WHICH IS ONE REQUIRED TO UNDO THE BELIEF IN BEING SOMEONE?
The Enlightenment of that which is One can be said to be the last step back to the formlessness of oneness. Still, as formlessness is endless, you have never left it. Thus it is not about going back but realise how you hide the formlessness of oneness, namely by believing you are someone definitive.

As already mentioned, the Enlightenment of that which is One does that in a split second. But it can also be achieved while enjoying the world of the outward-facing senses. In the below box, there are some suggestions on how to do this:

The more you perceive the apparent differences in the world of the outward-facing senses to not make a difference, the more the outward-facing senses function as a set-off to that which is One (hack #3.1 Inclusiveness is freedom).

The same applies to pretending to be someone definitive (hack #1.3 Pretending to be someone definitive is liberation or seeing symbols of life in the world (hack #2.1 Everything experienced is a symbol of oneness).

And it also applies to being alone together, which does not mean that you are together with one or more who also are alone, but that you are alone together with your fantasy of a world where there seems to be more than one, no matter how many there seem to be around you (hack #7.1 Alone together, we go home).

The empty breath (HACK #5, A state of not-knowing is nothing but bliss) syncs the outward-facing senses with the inward-facing ones, so you over time are able to devote yourself so much to the glimpses of Enlightenment that they do not seem separated, wherefore the Enlightenment of that which is One sets in.

You do not even need Alexius’ Duality Hacks to have the belief in being someone undone. All that is necessary is not to remember what and where you are because then there is no belief in being someone definitive that appears to hide the formlessness of oneness.

There is no experience of love without the experience of hate, because you cannot know one without the other. Multitasking allows you to experience both emotions simultaneously, and so hate is as blissful as love. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The reason that so many avoid multitasking is that it leaves them no time to suppress anger and other feelings messing up the perfect image of themselves as somebody full of peace, compassion, inner strength and whatnot.

What they do not know, when keeping a specific feeling hidden – hate for example – is that they diminish the experience of its contrasts – in this case love – because you cannot have one without the other. See hack #4.4 The duality flow goes to non-duality.

Least of all do they know that when both sides of a contrast are equally acknowledge, their apparent difference makes no difference. Thus loving somebody is as blissful as to hate them.

Here the world of the inner senses are about to shift to bright white light, which is gonna extract all the info you have collected in order to appear as somebody and leave it at the edge at a black hole so that there is nobody to fall into the nothingness of that which is one. This is not compatible with appearing in a world, where there seems to be more than one, so if that is what you want, you better make sure the info making up your personality is not extracted or you know where to find it again. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

This image could be illustrating the last glimpse of the Enlightenment of that which is One before you give up seeing something specific. There is no transition from seeing glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One and getting into it. And since it is one perpetual present, you do not know when it extracts all the info making you appear as someone definitive so that nothing is sucked into a black hole where it gracefully falls into the formlessness of oneness. This is not compatible with appearing as someone definitive in a world defined by time and space, so if that is what you want, you better make sure that the info making up your appearance as someone definitive is not extracted which you prevent by going with the flow of fear. However, there is no fear in that which is One. It is impossible as it would require more than one. But it seems possible to imagine there is more than one, and going with the fear that this entails, you seem to leave it and instead be in a world where there seems to be more than one. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

MULTITASKING THE INWARD AND OUTWARD-FACING SENSES
Much devotion to the world of the inward-facing senses probably makes you spaced out in the world of the outward-facing senses. Yet, if you do not have to be present there, you go with the flow of the inward-facing senses, as if the world outside of you stands still.

But suppose you have to do something demanding in the world of the outward-facing senses. In that case, it is best to only devote yourself to that, so the abstractness of the inward-facing senses does not mess it up.

However, you can also multitask between the inner and outward-facing senses so that being loaded with glimpses of Enlightenment in the world of the inward-facing senses makes you indifferent to the constant demands in the world of the outward-facing senses.

When you multitask the world of the inner and outward-facing senses, thoughts are not considered to be yours. Thus nobody is going anywhere, even though it may appear so.

Multitasking is said to disturb the brain, making it harder for it to focus on something specific. That is why it is beneficial to undo the belief in being someone definitive  – especially the multitasking of the inner and outward-facing senses, which happens all by itself when connected with the empty breath. See The empty breath syncs the inward and outward-facing senses.

This is not a new religion or philosophy, that you must learn and strictly adhere to. On the contrary. It is about unlearning everything, so do not try to make sense of what you read.

A perfect moment with glimpses of enlightenment is something you are aware of. If you stop being aware of it, you cannot see any glimpse. There is nothing and that is where the enlightenment of that which is one sets in. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Glimpses of Enlightenment are something you are aware of. If you stop being aware of them or anything else, there is nothing to block out the Enlightenment of that which is One. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

WHERE DO GLIMPSES OF ENLIGHTENMENT COME FROM
Physically speaking, glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One seem to originate from a non-defined space behind the frequencies of thoughts near the pineal gland. It is probably also from there that you perceive the world when you are in a state of not-knowing.

The same applies when you pretend to be a person or perceive everything in the world as symbols of that which is One. The empty breath – sounding like sohang – is presumably picked up from there as well, physically speaking.

Furthermore, the pineal gland might work as a receiver for signals picked up by the eighth chakra, which has a magenta colour and is located above the head. Maybe the pineal gland or the eighth chakra is involved when experiencing glimpses of Enlightenment. You cannot know because you are blown out of the experience – and afterwards, you do not know where to look. And this is fine because focussing on the pineal will not bring about any of the above. It contracts the energy, so you feel boxed in as someone definitive. On the other hand, defocussing removes restrictions wherefore you do not feel limited to being someone specific.

‘The empty breath’ syncs the inward and outward-facing senses [draft]

NOTHING TWISTED INTO SOMETHING
It takes more than one to appear as someone, and there is no more than that which is one since it is formless, thus endless. Thus appearing as someone in a world where there seems to be more than one is a fantasy made from nothing, experienced by nothing.

This is not to say that oneness is nothing. It is that which is One, and it takes more than one to be anything. For the same reason, it is impossible to fantasise about something in oneness. Nevertheless, it seems possible to imagine there is something outside of it. But since oneness is endless, there is nothing outside of it. So even though the brain twists it into something, it is non-existing.

This is probably why science concludes that the world we believe in feeling and seeing consists of 99.9999999 per cent empty space. And the rest – despite also being empty space consisting of nothing substantial – is what we perceive as elements of matter making up a world defined by time and space.

Just like everything else sensed, the empty breath is invisible and colourless until the brain ascribes it to a specific shape and colour. But as the empty breath does not aspire to be something, the brain does not care to twist it into an object. Thus it remains invisible and colourless.

Not knowing what and where you are is the bliss of not believing to be someone

In the connectedness with the empty breath, the apparent difference between the opposing sides of the contrasts making up the experience of duality is cancelled out. Not in the sense that you do not register them anymore, but that you do not perceive them to make a difference. Therefore, since there is no separation to attest to duality, you are in the bliss of not believing to be someone definitive.  Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

THE BLISS OF NOTHING
Though science seems to know that the experience of something is made from nothing, thus is make-believe, they explore the experiences of something as they are real. However, in Alexius’ Duality Hacks, we expose something as nothing, so there does not seem to be something hiding there never was or will be anything but the formlessness of oneness.

The experiences the brain fabricates of someone substantial in a tangible world only seem real when perceived as something. If not, they are exposed as nothing. To see that, you go back in time to the nothingness the brain twists into your everyday experience of something.

Since the empty breath resides there, and it has taken the brain one second to fabricate your current experience of something, it only takes one second to connect with the empty breath and be in a state of not-knowing, thus the bliss of nothing. This happens via the inward-facing senses. But if the brain is not kept active in a feedback loop, with thoughts that seem to confirm the world of the outward-facing senses as something, it falls into a coma. Thus you cannot be in the bliss of nothing for more than 20 minutes, 45 at most, at a time if you want to return to a world of something. Read more about that here.

Connecting with the empty breath is not about being deeper, purer or balanced. Being something is part of the experience of being someone, and the empty breath is not part of that but the nothingness that this experience is fabricated from.

In the flow of not believing to be someone

Should you wonder, who chooses to believe in being someone, who has programmed the brain to produce experiences that seem to confirm this belief or who is wondering about this, the answer is nobody. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

WHAT AND WHERE ARE THE INWARD AND OUTWARD-FACING SENSES
What you see, hear, feel and taste in the world of the inward-facing senses and the outward-facing ones are based on the same sensory system. Thus their different names do not mean they differ from each other, physically speaking. Still, they are different ways of experiencing the same frequencies of the nothingness that the brain twists into experiences perceived as proof of being someone.

In the case of the inward-facing senses, the experience of its world is abstract because the brain has not yet processed the frequencies of nothingness to appear as physical elements outside you. Thus it feels as if the world is inside you. But in the world of the outward-facing senses, the brain has processed nothing into something, so you appear as someone definitive in a tangible world outside of you.

However, since it takes more than one to experience something and as there is no more than that which is One, any experience is an illusion, regardless it seems to come from the outward or inward-facing senses.

Consequently, the above distinction between inward and outward-facing senses and a brain receiving something authentic from the sensory system is part of the non-existing brain’s plot to deceive you into believing you are experiencing something where there is nothing.

It takes nobody to know where the inner senses are

The abstract world of the inward-facing senses is experienced when time and space are not entirely considered real. Ultimately speaking, though, these experiences from the inward-facing senses are no more real than those via the outward-facing senses because any experience requires more than one, and there is no more than that which is One since it is formless, thus endless. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Therefore, it is only in the context of the belief in more than one that there is someone to experience an abstract world, lightly processed by the brain from the frequencies of nothingness, and a substantial heavily processed by the brain from the same frequencies.

The abstract experiences of the inward-facing senses open up when you do not entirely believe to be someone definitive in the world of the outward-facing senses. Hence there is little left of this belief when you are in the world of the inward-facing senses. Otherwise, there would be nobody to experience the world of the inward-facing senses. In other words, when you appear to be nobody in the world of the inward-facing senses, you have not totally left the belief in being somebody because there must be somebody to register the experiences of nobody. Consequently, the abstractness of nothing you experience in the world of the inward-facing senses is slightly something.

It only takes the brain a split second to twist nothing into an abstract experience in the world of the inward-facing senses. However, since the brain wants you to have a tangible experience in a substantial world, it uses one more second to distort nothing into something experienced as physical via the outward-facing senses.

You may fear the inward-facing senses. But since this fear comes from the belief in being somebody and the empty breath, undoes this belief, there is nothing to fear if you connect with it.

THE FEAR OF THE INWARD-FACING SENSES
You must constantly concentrate and focus on the world of outward-facing senses to make it appear real. It is the other way around in the world of the inward-facing senses. It is experienced when there is no effort to focus or concentrate.

As long as you intend to appear in a world where there seems to be more than one, it is best to multitask between those two worlds, so you can focus when needed in the world of the outward-facing senses and space out in the world of the inner ones when nothing is required of you.

However, you can only do that if you are willing not to always give your full attention to the structured world of the outward-facing senses but sometimes go with the unstructured flow of the inward-facing senses. This may seem not very comforting, but it is the other way around. In the world of the outward-facing senses, we are always afraid of not making it, whereas we have nothing to live up to in the world of the inward-facing senses. But we cannot remain in this abstract world if we want to go on in a world defined by time and space. Fortunately, the empty breath brings us back and forth between the outward and inward-facing senses per our present situation.

Not being someone specific feels as if you are nothing, which seems pretty discomforting until you realise that being empty, you are a vessel for the empty breath, which takes you into the high-frequency world of the inward-facing senses, where glimpses of Enlightenment become the base for experiencing the low-frequency world of the outward-facing senses.

Alexius Jorgensen have an automatic synchronisation of the inner an outer senses

The empty breath synchronises the outward and inward-facing senses. Hence, we become indifferent to being somebody in the tangible world of the outward-facing senses and thus responsive to being nobody in the abstract world of the inward-facing senses. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

THE EMPTY BREATH SYNCS THE INWARD AND OUTWARD-FACING SENSES
Suppose we once connected with the empty breath and quickly left it. In that case, it remains with us because it is unaware that we believe to be separated beings in the low-frequency world of the outward-facing senses.

Yet the empty breath senses the stress coming from this belief, so it synchs our discomfort with the high-frequency world of the inward-facing senses. It does not do it because this world is more peaceful than the world of the outward-facing senses. But because the stress in the low-frequency world of the outward-facing senses does not seem stressful in the high-frequency world of the inward-facing senses.

The empty breath always functions as an automatic gear shift between the outward and inward-facing sense. When connected with the empty breath, the abstractness in the world of the inward-facing senses becomes the base from which the world of the outward-facing senses is perceived. Thus it does not appear to consist of something but nothing.

When not connected with the empty breath, the world of the outward-facing senses is prioritised. But when you relax, have sex or your response to something is perceived as ‘it is what it is,’ the ratio between the world of the outward and inward-facing senses changes per what and where you appear to be. Read about the perception ‘it is what it is,’ in hack #4.2 The brain’s script and how to perceive it to feel happy.

It is unnecessary to undo the belief in being someone definitive to connect with the empty breath, but it is essential to be willing to undo it. This is enough. It does not require meditation and other techniques based on exclusion, restraint and control. Nor is it needed to avoid that because if you restrain yourself and stand by that completely, the uncontrolled energy ignites a take-off to the empty breath.

There are many ways to appear in a world defined by time and space, but there is no way to leave it because you are not in it. Like within the context of such a world, a dreamer is not in their dream and, therefore, does not return to bed when the dream is over. Likewise, you do not return to the formlessness of oneness when your apparent life in a world defined by time and space is finished because you never left the formlessness of oneness. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

APPENDIX
Since most resist being nobody, they are unwilling to undo the belief in being somebody. But if you acknowledge this, you confirm what you appear to be is make-believe. Thus you have a willingness to undo the belief in being somebody.

About willingness see also Willingness not to exclude but include undoes the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one.

This does not mean that you suddenly are gone, reborn or awakened. Like within the context of this belief, Santa Claus does not stop when you grow up. But the impression that he is real stops. However, there is one difference between the undoing of the belief in Santa Claus and you being someone definitive. When the belief in the latter is undone or in the process of being it, you are not disappointed. Instead, you feel free to enjoy being someone defined by time and space.

NOTES:

A world where there seems to be more than one is to be compared to a movie of oneness played in slow motion

Updated August 7, 2022

This is leaves from a palm tree outside my window, that I have processed in a very speedy way to simulate the look of such a leaf, when its frequencies are not slowed down. The simulation though looks far from how speedy the real world is.

This is a leaf from a palm tree that Alexius has processed into a fantasy of what it may look like when not organised into something substantial. However, his vision is far from illustrating the formlessness of oneness. It is without separation, so there is nothing to be seen. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

STEPPING INTO THE FULL UNCONTROLLED SPEED OF THOUGHTS AND EMOTIONS, THUS ‘A STATE OF NOT KNOWING’
When you want time to process an experience, it is not to understand but shape it into a perception that matches your conditioned view of the world, thus avoiding feeling anxious.

Since it calls for more than one to be aware of something, that which is One cannot be realised. Therefore, if you dot not try to understand this article by taking your time to process it, you are on a timeless journey to oneness.

However, anxiety is preferable regarding not hiding that which is One because doubts prevent you from categorising thoughts and feelings. Hence they run as fast as they can back to their origin of nothing – just like a river hurries back to the sea when uncontrolled. Thus you are in a state of not knowing until you welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One or return to the consciousness of being someone in a world where there seems to be more than one. See A state of not-knowing, and how to get there.

It is only in the world of duality, that there appears to be movements, and that there can be more of it. In reality no movements can appear, because everything move so fast that it is one perpetual present as you can see illustrated in these pics of a fan.

In that which is One, everything moves so fast that there is no separation – like in the first image, where the extreme speed of the ceeling fan cancels out separation. However, when the fan is slowed down, there seems to be separation. Likewise, a world where there seems to be more than one appears to come into being when that which is One is imagined to slow down. The graphic is grabbed from the web and manipulated by Alexius.

In the movie Lucy, Scarlett Johansson demonstrates that when time is speeded up infinitely, there is nothing to see. This is comparable to that which is One. It is so speedy that there is no separation to define something. That is why it is formless, thus endless, and a world where there seems to be more than one is an illusion.

ONENESS VERSUS A WORLD WHERE THERE SEEMS TO BE MORE THAN ONE
Oneness can be compared to a movie where it is impossible to distinguish anything from each other because it is played so fast that none of its frames can be seen. But when slowed down, there appears to be more than one frame. Hence you see a world where there seems to be more than one (see also You feel stressed from perceiving the apparent differences to make a difference).

So if you believe to be someone in the movie of a world where there seems to be more than one, you do not undo this belief by slowness but quickness because you need to speed up the film – or rather, your experience of it. Since that is a construction of thoughts, the faster they move, the more the frames appear to press on, and the less you get the experience of more than one.

The Ukrainian pianist Lubomyr Melnyk plays extremely rapid, intricate patterns of notes, which produce overtones so trance-inducing, that a cascade sound of purity makes you forget, it is ignited by the speed and complexity underneath it.

This happens automatically if you do not organise thoughts into shapes of something recognisable. When thoughts are not trapped, they set off at a speed where it is impossible to hold onto them. Thus you enter a state of not knowing from where you return with the slate wiped clean to the awareness of being someone – or have your consciousness terminated by the Enlightenment of that which is One, so there are no experiences to hide there never was or will be anything than the formlessness of oneness.

If you close your eyes after having been deeply involved in something, physically or mentally, you may see it as a blurred picture that, like a frame of a movie, speeds up. It looks a bit like having vertigo, but if you keep your eyes closed , it will not disturb your normal perception of the world. Instead, its unrestrained energy ignites a take-off into the empty breath.

The same applies when you worry and do not try to pacify yourself but instead step into the full uncontrolled speed of thoughts and emotions. It ignites a take-off into the empty breath. See hack #5.1 Uncontrolled speed leads to a state of not-knowing. The grahic is quickly grabbed from the web.

In short, returning to oneness is not about slowing down thoughts, least of all stopping them. By doing that, you are stuck in a single frame of empty void separated from others in the context of the movie metaphor. This numbness of stillness is as far as you can get from that which is One because it is not deadlocked but free-flowing energy, moving at such a speed that everything is fused into the formlessness of oneness (see the first box).

Therefore, as already said, you undo the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one by speeding up thoughts to the extent that they do not appear to differ. Since that makes it impossible to experience something definable, there do not appear to be any shapes hiding the formlessness of oneness.

This picture and the first one in the article have been processed from the same digital photo. Nothing has been added to the images. But the digital info is manipulated differently. It is a bit like when the brain from the same void of nothing renders a world in a world where there seems to be more than one. Read more about that here. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

THE PURPOSE OF YOUR EXPERIENCES IS ENTERTAINMENT
When thoughts are not shaped into blocks of something that, like interlocking Lego bricks, are used to build an experience of you as someone in a world where there seems to be more than one, they are recognised as meaningless. Thus their blankness reveals the bliss of nothing.

Since this explanation, like any other, requires more than one, and there is no more than that which is one, it is fictitious. Actually, Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings is a fable within the fiction of a world where there seems to be more than one. But Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings is made to expose that anything requiring more than one is unreal. However, it is only in recognising this that you should not organise thoughts into specific shapes. Appearing to be someone in a world where there seems to be more than one, thoughts must be set up in particular constructions to Alexius’this world. But maybe not in the way you expect.

What you perceive as real, imaginative or spiritual is based on the thoughts the brain has combined into specific shapes in the same way it composes a dream, namely turbulent, chaotic, unpredictable and incompatible with your rational perception of yourself and the world. Therefore, if this chaos seems to support your rationale, it is because you, in retrospect, interpret the irrational arrangements of the brain, so they seem connected per your reasoning.

However, it seems weird to the brain that you run around like headless chickens, trying to put it all together in a socialistic way, for example, instead of being entertained by the experiences it creates for you. The brain does not understand your logic. It only cares about entertainment. Like a magician, it likes pulling rabbits out of hats. For example, when you do the laundry, it may build up thoughts that make you start as normal. But to entertain you, it breaks the conformity by pulling you to the window to see a demonstration on the street. Going along with this, as you would if it was an impulse to go to the toilet, you feel amused and return energised to the laundry. That is all. There is nothing special to understand.

On the other hand, if you had planned to do the laundry linearly and tried to stick to that, going to the window would not seem entertaining but disturbing. Hence you blame the brain for distracting you and look for methods to control it, so you will be free to do things in your way.

When you do not wish to be in control, thoughts do not seem bothersome because there is no need to arrange them into something confirming you are in charge.

Playing along with the brain’s game, you are rewarded with so much happiness that, eventually, you have no more to ask for. Read more about that here. Hence that which is One does not appear to be clouded by a world where there seems to be more than one. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

But just like you do not control the course of a dream, you have no say in how things evolve when you believe to be awake. The brain is always in charge. You cannot avoid it if it has scripted you to go to the window. Read more about the brain’s script in hack #4.2 The brain’s script and how to perceive it to feel happy.

That said, you can decide to go there slowly or fast to the window. But no matter your choice, the brain has already arranged the subsequent events, like every possibility in a computer game is composed by the writer. Hence nothing in the plot can be changed.

Astrology is an attempt to disregard the brain and make it look like you are governed by something else than the brain. The same applies to religious and spiritual doctrines. And the unfortunate belief that physical and non-physical issuess can be mixed. Read more about that in hack #4.3 The toxic mix of physical and non-physical issues.

Nor is it necessary to change anything. When there is no attempt to change the game, you see it  ‘it is what it is’ (read more about this perception in hack #4.2 The brain’s script and how to perceive it to feel happy). Therefore, since the fear of falling is as entertaining as the thrill of rising, there is no need for something specific to make you happy. Thus, since you never regret anything but enjoy everything, the belief in being someone definitive is undone while you feel entertained by it.

But being angry is also a terrific way to see a world where there seems to be more than one is a mirage. Because if you do not try to control the anger, its unbounded energy ignites a take-off into the empty breath. In its emptiness, your experiences of something are perceived as nothing. Hence there is nothing to uphold the experience of a world where there seems to be more than one as real.

‘What if…?’ versus ‘it is what it is’ [draft]

Updated May 24, 2022

Spirituality is that which is one. And since it takes more than one to become something, you cannot become spiritual unless you believe it is possible to be and have more than that which is one. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

This article is a continuation of Sadness is a close friend of gladness. Hence it is about the perception ´it is what it is.´ It reveals every experience is dual. Adjusting to that, you feel complete. Actually so much that you, eventuality, forget to remember duality.

You need to be fully anchored in the belief that you are someone in a world of duality if you want to undo this belief – just like you need to play a game to finish it.

Hence this article is written within the context of duality. In such a world, psychological and physical issues do not mix. So if you conclude your worries are caused by something physical or what you feel in the body is caused by your anxiety, you deceive yourself.

Maybe you do that by interpreting your present pain in the foot as fatal and imagining this physical problem is linked with a worrisome psychological issue from the past. Consequently, the psychological aspect appears to have caused the physical one.n

Hereafter, the physical and psychological issues seem to have a significant impact on each other, the more your imagination runs wild on a loop set off by envisioning ‘what if…?’ However, since your reaction to your specific thought-up outcome is revealed as two-fold when perceived as ‘it is what it is, there is no specific reaction to confirm your alleged cause and effect connection between non-physical and physical issues. Hence it is no more and never was except in fantasy. Read more about cause and effect here.n

In hack #4.3 The toxic mix of physical and non-physical issues, you can read more about the unfortunate belief that physical and non-physical issues can be mixed.

Therefore, the physical problem can be dealt with in a material way and the psychological one in an abstract way. Naturally, this is much easier and less scary when not fantasising about a connection between them – just like daily life feels less complicated when not mixing it with fantasies.

You cannot change physical reality. But if you perceive it so it makes you suffer, you can change that perception to make you feel good.

You probably will be diagnosed with vertigo* if you experience the world spinning around you. This does not mean the doctor believes your experience is real. On the contrary, you are hallucinating. The world cannot revolve around you. Nevertheless, do not deny this is your experience. But deny that it is real. When you do that, the fear goes away. Thus you realise the whirling sensation is only going on inside you. Outside of you, the world goes on as usual. So just like when you look at the horizon and experience the earth as flat but correct it, you correct that the world outside of you spins around you when you have vertigo. Eventually, you realise that nothing experienced is real, as it takes more than one to be aware of something, and there is no more than that which is One since it is formless, thus endless. See also Everything that appears to be more than one is an illusion. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Having vertigo* is a glaring example of believing that an experience of something beyond the bounds of possibility is authentic. The world is not spinning around you. It is an inner adventure made to suppress your horrifying response to a psychological problem. But since iot makes it difficult to uphold a definitive image of yourself, you project the whirling sensation onto the world outside of you.

That is until you stand by your one-sided reaction to your psychological issue, so it can be perceived as ‘it is what it is.That makes a crack in horror. And out of it comes something which, at first, feels pretty abstract. But as soon as it has been defined by horror, it settles as the opposite, namely delight. Next, this redefines horror. In this interplay, none of the feelings is singular because they are constantly exchanging. Thus there is no distinct feeling to prevent you from having the suppressed psychological problem exposed.

Another way of explaining the outcome of the perception it is what it is is that your initial response feels like an air ball of sadness somewhere undefinable. But when not attempting to explain this vacuum, it literally feels like it balloons outward in a swelling bubble of gladness. Read more about this experience of the duality flow here.

Since everything in a world of duality is twofold, upholding a single-minded point of view makes you feel disconnected. In other words, when you are reluctant toward the togetherness of duality, you feel alone.

This gladness does not give you peace of mind because that is a singular experience, thus a notion of apathy. But since gladness constantly interacts with sadness, you feel whole in their togetherness.

Should this procedure seems too complicated, and you forget what to perceive as ‘it is what it is,’ you perceive your reaction to this confusion as ‘it is what it is.’ Therefore, since your response is revealed not to be singular but twofold, you are in the duality flow. And since you are in a world of duality, you feel fulfilled.**

You could also approach your vertigo very practically by doubting your experience and asking the brain to correct it so the world does not seem to move around you.

Always perceiving your response to something as ‘it s what it is,’ you do not have to control your reaction to avoid feeling wrong because it will be complemented by feeling right. This does not mean right and wrong is going to be balanced. Dualism is not about balance because that cancels out contrasts, thus a world of duality (read more about that here). Instead, duality is about the dynamic interaction between opposites, for example, breathing in and out. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

But if your vertigo is caused by a physical problem, such as tiny crystals of calcium that have gotten loose in the inner ear, you, of course, deal with it materially. Maybe you consult a healthcare professional or do the Epley exercise. If, however, your reason for doing that is to get it over and done with, you are most likely fixated on going back to things how they were.

The experience of duality is kept together by the constant interaction of opposing elements, for example the past and the future. Acknowleding this, you get the satisfaction of togetherness, whereas you get the loneliness of separation when you split the pairs of duality into specific elements.

Thus you do not feel fine regardless of the outcome like you do when your response to the problem is perceived as ‘it is what it is.’ As aforementioned, this perception replaces a singular interpretation with a dualistic one. In this case, for example, instability/stability, doubt/confidence, fatigue/health or disappointment/contentment. Of course, many other duality pairs could be in play. But this, you must explore yourself because this article is almost finished.

If this is experienced as abrupt, and your reaction is astonishment, please perceive it as ‘it is what it is.’ Doing so, astonishment is no longer excluded from its counterpart, calmness. Thus you are in the duality flow where you move on to other duality pairs, such as abrupt/gradual, beginning/ end, or expectation/surprise. If you do not stop the duality flow by avoiding or enhancing one part of a duality pair, you, eventually, are blown away by the interaction of duality. Thus nobody walks the path with no distance, direction or destination to that which is everywhere since it is formless, thus endless, namely non-duality.

It is impossible to experience something because it takes more than one to do so, and there is no more than that which is One. But since you are reading this, you believe it is possible to be and have more than one. Hence you must feel what and where you believe in being, to undo this belief.

When you do not hide what you do not like in yourself from your awareness by projecting it onto the body, you become likeable. This is the first step in healing a psychosomatic disorder. See hack #4.3 The toxic mix of physical and non-physical issues. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

APPENDIX
Those who assume they suffer from a psychosomatic disorder have projected politically incorrect feelings like sexual lust, power strivings, greed, envy and anger onto vulnerable parts of the body, in the same way, some project offensive feelings onto the world.

However, since these emotions are abstract, they cannot be hidden in something that is substantial. Hence the projection of abstract feelings onto something tangible only conceals them from your awareness. Nonetheless, most believe their problems are gone when out of sight. Just like an ostrich, according to myth, believes danger disappears when it buries its head in the sand.

Many of those believing negativity should be avoided like to use crystal stones for healing. But lots of the stones, Amethyst for example, does this by emitting negative ions which produce biochemical reactions which create positive vibes/mood and relieve stress.

This myth, though, is not valid. If an ostrich buries its head in the sand, it dies from lack of air. And you wither from the lack of collaboration between positivity and negativity if you hide the latter from yourself with a head-in-the-sand approach. Consequently, you cannot have the belief in duality undone before your negativity is acknowledged as paired with positivity.

Exposing your negativity, as described in The YOU finger and the three ME fingers, you feel so vitalised by the duality flow that it, eventually, blows you away. Thus you are on a happy journey without distance to non-duality.

To be continued in Alexius’ childhood.

*) In the article, Psycho-Physiological Dizziness Syndrome, approaching vertigo as a psychological problem is described in more detail than in this article. It is not in line with the foundation of Alexius’ Duality Hacks, though.

**) Alexius does not write about something he has not encountered himself. So he knows the perception ‘it is what it is’ works in the way he put forth. In his case, though, he does not only use the fulfilment that comes from the duality flow to deal with the world of duality in a relaxed way but as a stepping stone to glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is One. Thus he goes to sleep bathed in light and wakes up in the morning hearing ethereal harmonies. Read more about that here

Notes on meditation, the basic and special self

Updated August 12, 2022

To define something as small, it must be contrasted with something tall. But if the special self hates big things, it excludes tall. But as you cannot experience one side of a contrast without the other, you also exclude small when you exclude tall. So if you perceive to be free from hatred, the love you believe to experience is fake. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The brain’s function is to create entertaining thoughts for the self that it has fabricated. Therefore, if thoughts do not seem to please but frustrate the self, its consciousness most likely perceives the flow of them so they comply with a conceptualised way of living, such as capitalism, socialism, spiritualism or another ism meant to make the self feel more special.

But since this perception is founded on a particular belief system, it is restricted by its concepts. And since self-discipline does not make you delighted but angry, you do not get the fulfilment the belief system has promised. Instead, you get stress and confusion – primarily because the thoughts you have compiled to keep your perception in line with your preferred belief system do not like your manipulation. Hence, they move faster and faster to escape your domination.

No worries, if you do not try to stop this restless energy, it automatically ignites a take-off into the empty breath, where the slate is wiped clean for misperceptions. Read more about that in hack #5.2 The empty breath and the bliss of nothing. Therefore, since there are only perceptions in sync with the experiences the brain produces, you feel entertained by all of them. Fortunately, you do not have to uphold these perceptions yourself. The brain does that automatically if you do not interfere. Read more about that in hack #4.2 The brain’s script and how to perceive it to feel happy.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Since the basic self is relative to the experiences created by the brain (read more about that here), it is not definitive. Hence the inexact flow of thoughts coming from the brain seems natural. But not to the special self because it wants to be definitive.

To distance itself from the brain, the special self composes a perception in which the basic self seems to have been transformed into someone definitive independent of the brain. However, this twisted perception calls for more thoughts than those few the brain has available to make a perception aligned with the basic self. Thus, the special self meditates to generate more thoughts.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The special self needs alcohol, drugs or meditation to escape the fear of repercussion that manipulating others entails. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Those who perceive themselves as unique beings with the power to do things in their way and pace need many thoughts to uphold this twisted perception. However, the movement of all these thoughts soon becomes so hectic that they try to slow them down via meditation.

That is the official reason. But as anybody who has meditated knows, thoughts multiply when trying to control them. And that is the real reason for meditating because many thoughts are needed to construct a unique appearance.

 ∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The basic self does not feel disturbed by the flow of thoughts from the brain. On the contrary, it loves this quiet flow because it makes it easy to serve the brain in a laid-back way. However, the special self does not want to serve but master the brain. Thus it feels disturbed by its thoughts, although, if not interfering, there are only a few.

The frantic flow of thoughts, the special self experiences, has been generated by itself. It has multiplied the simple flow, the brain develops to maintain a basic itself into a large group of thoughts from which it can compose a perception of itself as an independent being. Read more about that here. Then, when it needs a break from the multitudes of thoughts, it looks for something numbing like alcohol, drugs or a mantra.

Should it manage to relax, it feels horrified because, without all the special thoughts it has generated, the idea of being in control falls apart. Hence there is no self-deception to hide that you are dependent on the brain, which depends on you to have a twofold response to its experiences, so their dualistic nature is confirmed.

However, not fighting this interdependence, there is nothing to hide, that all the brain’s experiences of you as someone in a world of duality are as unreal as being someone in the virtual world of a computer game. Fortunately, duality is as entertaining as a computer game when you play the game of twofoldness. Read more about that in hack #4.4 The duality flow goes to non-duality.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Most like to believe they feel upset because of the flow of thoughts coming from the brain. However, the distress comes from the attempt to edit it. When a single thought is sought out from the stream of thoughts, it generates a new stream, and if a specific thought is singled out from that, yet another stream is made, and so on – just like if you split a neutron from an atom nucleus, it sends out more neutrons all by itself, that split and sends out more neutrons. It is a chain reaction.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The special self feels dominated by the natural flow of thoughts coming from the brain. But it is dominated by nothing other than its perception of the flow of thoughts. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The special self likes to believe that visualising something specific makes it happen because that seems to confirm it is in control of its life.

But it is like thinking the TV show you turn on by hitting the remote control is made by you. Somebody else has made the show, and the only thing you can change is your perception of it. This is also how the basic self has been transformed into a special self, namely by perceiving the basic self so that it seems to have become an independent being in charge of its own life.

But the special self needs constant approval from others to feel this is so. To get that, it often establishes a family, which it can manipulate into giving it the confirmation it needs. If that does not work as intended, the special self may pay a psychologist to ratify its uniqueness. Yet it does not realise how dependent it is on those supporting its perception of being independent.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The brain works like nature, throwing seeds here and everywhere without worrying about the outcome. Therefore, serving the brain, you also have fun doing that. But those who believe to be in charge of themselves think much about the result of their actions. They want to get as much as possible for as little as possible (read more about that here). Hence they organise the seeds in straight lines, resulting in much profit but no fun. Some solve that by buying things that make them happy for a while. And others try to find something spiritual inside them to feel good. But the way to feel good is to serve the brain because it has created you to do that.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

When the brain scripts you to feel sexual lust, you will feel horny no matter what you believe in being. However, you will not enjoy it if you try to suppress it through meditation or tantra sex. Read more about sex here.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

If you perceive yourself to be detached from the experiences of the brain, you fool yourself because you need them to prove this.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

When you try to solve absent-mindedness through mindfulness meditation or grounding exercises, you make it worse because you do not know who you are. Only your maker knows that. And since it is the brain, the solution, in the context of believing to be someone, is to be aligned with the stream of thoughts coming from the brain instead of using meditation to distance yourself from it.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Mindfulness is for those who cannot help exploiting others – just like in ancient times, monks introduced meditation to the barbarians seeking shelter in Ashrams to control themselves, thus refraining from abusing others.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The basic self is aware of itself as someone substantial by continually perceiving the experiences the brain produces as tangible. However, if it twists its perception of these experiences to make them appear spiritual, they are not seen as they are but how they could be. Consequently, the self disassociates itself from the brain, thus itself, since what and where it appears to be is a product of the brain. Read more about that in What and where you believe to be is the brain.

In other words, since the self’s perceived independence of the brain is a disassociation from itself, every act that the self perceives to do in its way and pace deepens the alienation. That is why meditating to become purer, higher and whatnot enhances the feeling of remoteness instead of closeness. Hence you do not get the joy of appearing as someone substantial in a tangible world, nor do you get around to undoing the belief in being definable because the imagination of being spiritual suppresses that.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Having established itself as someone in charge of its life, the special self needs to meditate or something else that seems to make it able to control thoughts to fool itself into believing that thoughts are not produced by the brain but by itself. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

It is impossible to alter the stream of thoughts the brain produces to uphold the basic self it has created. So instead, the consciousness the brain has installed in the self makes a perception of the stream that establishes the self, not the brain, as its maker. Then, like a god, it says, »This is my creation.« And Bam! The world, as it perceives it, appears to manifest. Next, it says, »I am an independent being.’ And Bam! The perception is ratified as a fact.

Third, it builds a character with a few flaws, so it always has something to improve through meditation, Tai Chi or something else that makes it seem to be in control, thus able to be and have something specific. This makes it feel unique but not satisfied because it is all on its own.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The basic self has no need to relax or transform itself through meditation, yoga, fitness and whatnot. On the contrary, as its perception is in sync with the stream of thoughts coming from the brain, it is rewarded with shots of happiness. Therefore, since it regularly forgets to remember being someone, it knows there is nothing to transform.

On the other hand, the special self never forgets to remember being somebody. It is always on a mission to become more and be part of something greater. But since that never turns out as expected, it settles for following someone that seems to improve its social status.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

If you need to relax, you are on a mission to be someone definitive. Because to achieve that, you have perceived the stream of thoughts coming from the brain excluded the thoughts you find upsetting. Since that does not result in peace but fear of the repressed, you look for something to relax. However, not trying to edit the ever-changing flow of thoughts but perceiving it as ‘it is what it is,’ you are not someone definitive but relative to the present experience produced by the brain. Thus hating what you dislike feels just as exciting as loving what you like. Hence there is no need to relax.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Nothing appears to be good enough for the special self because it interprets the noise in its head as a voice whispering, ‘there must be more.’ This is also the voice it follows when it meditates to find more peace. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The special self always looks for something to fix. But it objects to the solution that would fix everything immediately, namely not perceiving the brain as an enemy but as a friend (read more about that here). By doing that, everybody becomes a friend because the experience of others is produced by the brain.

Ultimately speaking, the solution is to undo the belief in being someone who experiences something. As this is the end of being someone, the special self avoids it by meditating or something else that seems to confirm it exists.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Those who believe they have free will are easily manipulated by the many doctrines of the world, such as how to be spiritual, socialistic, capitalistic or something else they think will make them independent of the brain’s ways.

However, you cannot avoid the brain’s commands – just like a car cannot determine the direction itself. It is in the hands of the driver. Likewise, you are in the hands of the brain.

Yet, unlike a car, you have a consciousness free to perceive the direction as you want. In the case of the special self, it makes a perception in which it has excluded everything that does not fit into the special doctrine it believes will make it more unique and independent. But it is make-believe. Nothing changes but the way the special self sees it.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The self that the brain has fabricated from nothing (read more about that here) and continuously administers, so it appears to be something, feels restricted when it imagines the freedom it could have if not managed by the brain but itself. But the self cannot be changed, only the perception of it. Therefore, no matter how you perceive yourself, you are still the same self that the brain has created and manages.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

There is no moment without the past and the future. For example, to keep the balance on a wheel, like in this photo, you must deal with both. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen

If you perceive the brain’s basic rendering of you as someone in a capsule of time and space as a bit boring, the special self sets in by offering you more exotic ways of perceiving it, for example, by coming from the heart (read more about that here), living in the now or having direct experiences.

But since all experiences – no matter where you believe they come from or how they seem to be experienced – are constructions of thoughts fabricated by the brain (read more about that here), these special perceptions are nothing but a reconstruction of the thoughts made by the brain.

But they do not work because they are exclusive and not inclusive. Any experience the brain creates consists of all thoughts popping up at that moment, including those of the past and the future. When in sync with the whole bunch, every moment feels perfect.

But this is not how it feels if you eliminate some of those thoughts so you can adjust to concepts like coming from the heart, living in the now or having direct experiences. This makes you feel imperfect.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Just like the night excludes the day and vice versa, spirituality excludes consciousness and vice versa.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

It is foolish to think you are someone in a computer game just because it seems to make you feel something. Whatever you believe in feeling is based on your interpretation of computer-generated events. In other words, what you feel is made by you. The same applies to what you feel in the world where you believe to read this. If you feel good about the article, you have chosen to interpret your response to it like that. Consequently, it is your choice whether you feel good or bad.

It is also your doing to assume that a god, higher consciousness or whatnot is making the world where you believe in being. There is neither god nor you, as that requires more than one, and there is no more than that which is One since it is formless, thus endless.

NOTES:

The basic self is relative to the brain, thus without egoistic intentions

Updated July 5, 2022

What you believe in being does not control the events in a dream where you appear to be, nor are you in it. You are in your bed. Likewise, you are not in a world where there seems to be more than one. Nor are you anywhere else because it takes more than one to be somewhere, and there is no more than oneness since it is formless, thus endless. Nevertheless, while you believe to be someone in a fantasy world where there seems to be more than one trying to control, it feels frustrating, whereas going with its flow makes you feel good. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

In a computer game, the game’s creator has designed what and where you appear to be. You cannot change that, but you can perceive it in a way that is in sync with the plot or not. The latter is frustrating and the former entertaining. The same applies to the tangible world where you appear to be someone substantial. What and where you seem to be is a fiction made by the brain, and it cannot be changed – only your interpretation of it.

If that is in sync with the brain’s script, you feel entertained by the idea of being someone substantial in a tangible world. It feels a bit like going up and down on a rollercoaster. You scream of fear when going down and shout of joy when going up. And it is equally entertaining because everything comes in pairs in the brain’s script.

But this is not the way the special self sees it. Its fundamental instinct is to perceive everything divided into right and wrong. And since going down is deemed wrong, this is not an experience it sees as equally entertaining as going up. Actually, the special self never really enjoys any experience because it is busy figuring out how to feel the next one.

And though it never works out as planned, it insists that everything is going to get better. On the other hand, the basic self has nothing to make better because it does not separate right from wrong.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The special self only talks about feelings speculatively like ‘do I really love this person?’

But it does not love anybody because to uphold its perception of being in control, it avoids feelings of intimacy by being with people who collectively have agreed to focus on the energy of emotions and not their emotional impact.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The idea of keeping an open mind excites the special self because it seems to confirm the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is One. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Since feelings tend to mess up the perception that the special self has made of itself as an independent and unique being, it wants to keep them at a distance. But as this collides with its need to show off as an open person, it lays the blame for fencing off feelings on its spouse, for example, who it criticises for being closed, thus making it impossible for the special self to express its feelings.

This perceived unapproachableness of others is a favourite topic of the special self. And although its feelings are unrecognised, it shows off as an expert on others’ feelings. But what it sees in others is its own suppressed feelings (read more about that here).

The basic self, on the other hand, always knows what it feels because it is reproduced in the world of duality produced by the brain outside of it. Or maybe it is the other way around. The basic self could not care less because inside and outside define each other.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The special self is all about survival, whereas the basic self is all about serving.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

When events seem to be going in the favour of the special self, it states that it is free from the brain, thus doing everything in its own way. But when it fails, the special self blames the brain.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

If one of the special self’s perceptions are exposed as fake, the special self diverts the focus from itself by making up a new perception in which it is unjustly attacked.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The special self likes to be together with others, but on one condition, namely that others accept its perception of things so it shapes their relationship.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The basic self has no need to edit the experience of the world into something that complies with special concepts of being together in harmony, balance or whatnot. On the contrary, everything it experiences is created by the brain, so it is together with everything, no matter the appearance. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

By stating ‘we all are one,’ the special self thinks it expresses spirituality. And it might deceive those who, like itself, believe in separation because this statement is founded on that belief. Hence it is not spirituality but separation, the special self wants to enhance when it says ‘we are all one.’

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The special self expects to be more appreciated when recognised as positive. Thus it always excludes what it judges as unfavourable from its appearance. However, it is not positivity but exclusivity that the special self is adored for because exclusion ratifies separation, thus the belief in being important.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

When you perceive yourself not to be basic but special, you constantly look for somebody to manipulate into ratifying your significance (read more about that here). That is why you always need to meet others and have a calendar full of appointments.

But as closeness may reveal the misery behind your story of greatness, you prefer to follow the conventional rules of being together. For example, a traditional dinner party is set up, so you appear to be together. But if you adjust to the table manners, you do not risk being close to anybody.

The basic self, on the other hand, has no need to be acknowledged as unique. Hence it does not try to fit into the collectively agreed concepts of how to be together, nor does it use these concepts to manipulate others to do and say something that attests to its significance. It has no need to be important or something else other than being a tool for the brain.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The special self expects others not to question its story of greatness but to adapt to it so they appear ordinary and the special self to be original. That is its way to hide it feels inferior.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The special self is always trying to escape something, but it does not know what. Neither will it ever know because there is nothing to escape. It is an illusion that only seems real because it always looks for something to exclude, so it can appear more unique. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

When the brain decides you must have a cake and you fight it for ideological reasons but, eventually, have a cake, you say it was your choice to give in. In this way, you fool yourself into thinking, you do things in your own way and tempo of motion.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Having one’s perception in sync with the stream of thoughts from the brain feels like being wholly absorbed by a TV show after having binge-watched it.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Watching a TV show, the brain is in its right element, continually passes remarks and predicts what comes next. When not doubting or altering these comments but going with them, you are also in your right element, namely to be a follower of the brain. However, since the brain contains the sum of your most significant memories, and that is what you believe to be, you are not just a follower but a leader as well.

But not following the brain, you are neither servant nor master but always look for something special to follow to make you feel in your right element. Or maybe you imagine a specific school of thought will help you peel off the layers that you assume prevent you from being in your right element. But no matter what you believe in becoming, it only seems so because thoughts, like a binary code of nothing, are put together in a perception of yourself that appears to manifest that.

This is not to say that following the brain is more real. Every experience is make-believe – just like in a role-play. However, following the instructions of the game master can be pretty fun. Likewise, believing to be someone in a world defined by time and space is quite entertaining when you do not try to add or subtract something from the instructions you get from the brain.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

You can compare the basic self to a cat. It does not plan to do Pilates at a specific hour but, naturally, stretches out when its biological system tells it to do so. Nor does it attend special seminars to learn who it is or how to be transformed into something else. There is no ‘I’ with a need to be anything but a cat.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

If you do not make up a perception that avoids, corrects or replace the brain’s script, you confirm that you miss nothing and that the brain supplies you with everything needed. Thus you feel safe. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Nothing in a dream can be changed by the dreamer except the perception of it. So though you are not in charge of the events, you decide to perceive specific ones as frightening. Thus fear becomes sticky and not just a fleeting feeling. Likewise, when you insist on being someone substantial in a tangible world.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

If you often feel irritated or confused, you are not in sync with the brain’s script because all of its feelings are fleeting, and their lightness entails happiness. In other words, if irritation is sticky, you have chosen to be independent of the brain, and being on your own does not feel good.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Within the apparent materialisation of a world defined by time and space, your most defining experiences of being someone are stored in the brain. And as they constitute what you believe to be (read more about that here), you cannot have this belief undone without honouring the brain.

So although the experiences fabricated and stored in the brain are made from nothing, you should not dismiss them as something because they ratify the choice you seem to have made to establish you as someone in a world defined by time and space. And if not honouring your choice, it cannot be undone.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

As it takes more than one to experience something, the brain needs to render a world where there seems to be more than one, so the self it has created can experience being someone. There is not something deeper or spiritual to learn or attain for the self because it is make-believe – including that there is a brain and something beyond it.

Since the basic self does not perceive itself to be different from the brain, and since everything it experiences to be, see, think and feel is made by the brain, the basic self does not belong to anyone but everyone.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

What you believe in being is based on memories stored in the brain. The experience of something coming from somewhere else is created by it. So there is nothing to serve other than the brain.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Most try to see a specific self behind their different approaches to the world. Yet, there is no other self than the basic one created by the brain. It is without a centre and ever-changing with the fleeting experiences the brain develops. That is why you are bound to feel unfulfilled when you try to define yourself in a definite way. On the other hand, you always feel fulfilled if defined by the fleeting experiences produced by the brain. In this flexibility of relativism, any experience generated by the brain amuses you, regardless of what and where you appear to be.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

You do not enter the stress of being someone definitive when you perceive your response to an experience as ‘it is what it is.  Instead, you remain without a centre and focus. Thus you automatically play the role set up by the brain for the present moment. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Within the context of believing to be someone in a world where there seems to be more than one, you do not have a definitive self but one that is relative to the fleeting experiences produced by the brain. And since the brain makes sure your response to the experiences is perceived as ‘it is what it is,’ you feel satisfied by all of them. Read more about this perception in hack #4.2 The brain’s script and how to perceive it to feel happy.

That is if you do not override this basic perception with I know what it is.’  In that case, you get frustrated because things do not work out according to your ideas but the brain’s script. Although you can choose between going right or left, for example, the brain decides your decision’s subsequent events – just like in a computer game, where every outcome of your choices is prefixed. Or like a flight to New York continues as planned, regardless of your whereabouts on the plane.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

If one’s perception is in sync with the flow of thoughts from the brain, experiences seem relative. Not being in sync with the flow, they appear definitive. The former results in feeling free and the latter in feeling imprisoned.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The basic self is not a definitive entity but relative to the brain and, therefore, without egoistic drive. The special self is also relative to the brain but not without an egoistic drive because contrary to the basic self, it perceives the thoughts coming from the brain as if it is in charge of them and, consequently, itself.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Being in tune with the present experience created by the brain, the basic self does not perceive itself as definitive but relative to that. But since the special self believe it handles everything in its own way, it perceives itself as being definitive. It is a wonder, though, how it can go on believing being that when it does not know who it is.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Within the context of a world where there seems to be more than one, the basic self is everyone and no one. As the basic self is relative, there is no self to doubt. The special self, on the other hand, always doubts itself because it insists on being someone definitive.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

If the special self perceives somebody to be stupid, it is most likely meant to condemn them. But when the basic self makes the same perception, it is not to blame somebody but to fend off a relationship that the brain instructs you to avoid. In other words, the basic self respects the signals of the brain. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

For the special self, it is always about what others could have done to make it happy. On the other hand, the basic self never gets disappointed by somebody because they are not the ones making it happy. The brain is. It always rewards the basic self with happiness for perceiving its experiences as they are and not as they could be, Thus the basic self has no reason to be disappointed.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The special self is an expert in flattery, which it uses to manipulate others into feeling appreciated. It wants them to become so dependent on the compliments that they are willing to submit to the special self to get more.

However, this does not work on the basic self. It has no need for approval because it does not perceive itself as definitive but relative to the way the brain renders the present moment.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The self is created by the brain, and it cannot be changed by you. But that does not mean it is definitive. It is relative to the present experiences created by the brain. »The brain is constantly reconfiguring every second of your life. Even by the time you get to the end of this paragraph, you’ll be a slightly different person than you were at the beginning.« David Eagleman, an American neuroscientist, in The working of the brain resembles drug dealers in Albuquerque.

That is why the more you read Alexius’ Duality Hacks, the more they apply themselves.

The outward-facing senses versus the inward-facing ones

Updated June 17, 2022

Those who hear or feel the humming coming from far away echoing that which is One cannot use it to make themselves or the world better. But they will be used as a door to close the experience of a world where there seems to be more than one, so there is no experience to hide that which cannot be experienced, namely that which is One. This does not mean they will be transformed because that requires more than one. Neither does it mean they will cease to exist because they have never existed since there is no more than that which is One since it is formless, thus endless. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

If a world where there seems to be more than one is unreal, but that which I am is real, it is impossible to be in such a world. Yet it seems possible to pretend it. This is to say that the below article is written within the framework of Alexius pretending that. Thus, his experiences described below – for example when the Earth stopped moving – are as illusionary as any other experience in a world where there seems to be more than one.

THE OUTWARD-FACING SENSES VERSUS THE INWARD ONES
The first time the world stood still was in Alexius’ teen years. He looked out the window, and everything was covered by snow. It was like the whiteness outside of him turned everything white inside him to the sound of Donovan gently singing Jennifer Juniper coming from his speakers.

He forgot to participate in the story of time and space. The air was perceived so thin that there was no space between anything. Although music was coming out of his speakers, the silence was so loud that all he heard was the echo of that which is One.

Much later on a walk along the sea, the echo of oneness was there again – and not so much later, when he was walking on a pedestrian street busy handing out flyers, the distant echo of oneness was so intense that even though people were moving around him, there was no movement and no people. He did not know what it was, but it did not seem tangible.

After being accustomed to hearing the echo of that which is One, he realised that this distant humming is what the words Aum, Sohang or The Word of God symbolise and that the reason people do not hear it is that they are expecting those words to reveal a higher understanding. But there is no understanding to be revealed, neither is there any need for that, when you hear the distant humming that Aum, Sohang and The Word of God symbolise.

Read Life has no secrets, if you want to learn how to hear and feel the vibration that AumSohang and The Word of God symbolise.

I never do anything so-called spiritual. When I wake up in the mornings I go for a long walk, until I come to this point and return back home. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Alexius never do anything so-called spiritual, such as meditation. But in the mornings, he goes for a long walk from where he often returns home after hearing the echo of oneness. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

THE ECHO OF THAT WHICH IS ONE
The word guitar is a symbol of something that makes fantastic sounds. But you do not sense them when reading the word unless you have heard them before.

This is the same regarding Aum, Sohang or The Word of God. Those words symbolise the distant humming of oneness. But if you have not heard the unpronounceable vibration of oneness, they will not remind you that it can be compared to the distant sound you hear coming from a computer when your ear is close to it.

To be so close to the computer, though, you have to stop focusing on the world empowered on its screen. The same applies to hearing or feeling the distant echo of oneness coming from the edge of the universe. In other words, you must stop focusing on the appearances in a world where there seems to be more than one to hear the echo of oneness.

You can also compare the echo to transparently hearing the purring of a cat, or feeling your body vibrating like that, or trembling of fear but without fearing something, or shaking of coldness but more lightly and not feeling cold or anything specifically, or feeling the bubbling effect in the body from quickly drinking the foam of Coca-Cola. Furthermore, it can be compared to a subtle version of the sound coming from a vacuum cleaner, the ventilation in an airport, or from the edge of the breath (not the sound of breathing in or out, but at the edge of them).

The echo of oneness hangs about a world where there seems to be more than one. It is the engine of that world but not in the sense that it produces it. It echoes that which has no beginning or end, so it cannot create anything specific. Yet its energy is used to keep together the imagination of a world where there seems to be more than one – just like it is the dreamer’s energy that makes it possible to have a dream. But it is impossible to manifest the dreamer in the dream – likewise, oneness cannot do anything in a world where there seems to be more than one.

The vibration that ‘Aum’ and ‘Sohang’ symbolises is your launching pad to non-duality.

Therefore, if you are dreaming about getting famous or rich or making the world a better place per a specific belief, this primordial vibration is not for you. It knows of nothing to achieve or make better. On the contrary, it undoes everything conceivable, so there is nothing but that which is One, thus nothing but peace, because it takes more than one to not be at peace.

Glimpses of Enlightenment are not experienced in the body you used to know. It is rather like when the anaesthesia a dentist has made in the mouth slowly stops working. You feel something, but it is not as if it is the body you used to know. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

THE ENLIGHTENMENT OF THAT WHICH IS ONE VERSUS GLIMPSES OF IT
The Enlightenment of that which is One cannot be experienced as that requires more than one. Therefore, the above is not about the Enlightenment of that which is One but about having glimpses of it in hearing the vibration that Aum, Sohang or The Word of God symbolise. Such glimpses you have when the definable world of the outward-facing senses is so far-off that the distant humming from the edge of the universe is the nearest.

But this is just one aspect of having glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One. The other ones are striking visions of light, hearing the crispness of ethereal harmonies, tasting the sweetness of oneness, or feeling any of these expressions. However, since society is very focused on visual impact, you may only have heard of the visual aspect of the Enlightenment of that which is One.

The inward-facing senses reveal the glimpses when the outward-facing ones are partly closed. Thus they are not physically tangible. As long you experience the Enlightenment of that which is One in one of its aspects, you have glimpses of it. But if you stop perceiving one of these aspects as it consists of different elements, there is nothing to define you as an experiencer. Therefore, since there is not someone definitive experiencing them, there is no difference between them and you. That is the Enlightenment of that which is One (hack #6.1 From the inward-facing senses through a black hole into that which is One).

Having fun exploring the world of the outward-facing senses. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

REALITY IS NEVER-ENDING. THUS EVERYTHING THAT ENDS IS UNREAL
Compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One or having glimpses of it, appearing to be someone in the world of the outward-facing senses feels like a distraction. But why not enjoy it. There is nothing to lose. You are not someone definitive, so you can pretend to be anybody in the world of the outward-facing senses. If you are into concepts of love, you can perceive the world through such glasses as if everything is love or a cry for love. It is all make-believe, so anything will do. See hack #1.3 Pretending to be someone definitive is liberation.

When the world experienced through the outward-facing senses is an illusion, one may conclude that the world experienced through the inward-facing senses is real. But what is real never ends, so both the inward and outward-facing senses are unreal as all their experiences have an end  – including glimpses of Enlightenment.

THE ENLIGHTENMENT OF THAT WHICH IS ONE IS A JOURNEY WITHOUT DISTANCE TO THAT WHICH IS ONE
Metaphorically speaking, you can say that what you experience via the inward-facing senses is a wall surrounding that which is One. The wall seems to have no substance. Yet it can be seen, heard, felt or tasted. Suppose you do not try to define this. In that case, the outward-facing senses have nothing to work with and a door that looks like a black hole, with a thin frame of white light inside it and rapidly spiralling bright light around it, suddenly and very quickly sucks you into it.

However, since the black hole has no end, you do not reach oneness. Nevertheless, since you leave the belief that you are someone you are where you always have been and will be, namely in the oneness of that which is you. In other words, you have never been definable or experienced anything. Fortunately, that is an illusion.

NOTE: This article is part of hack #6.2 Glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One.

In a world where there seems to be more than one, there is no Enlightenment of that which is One, only glimpses of it

Updated August 12, 2022

Even though in a dream you may sense, that it´s a dream, you can only see the dream. The dream must be terminated to see the dreamer.

Even though you as an appearance in a dream may sense, it is not real, you cannot see what is real. You can only see the dream and not the one dreaming it. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

PART 1:
Gurus and others talking about silence, inner peace, and eternal bliss try to seduce you into believing that they know how to find shelter from the world. But how can they claim there is something to find in a world they describe as an illusion or a dream? Everything found in a dream is equally illusionary, no matter if it seems to be found inside or outside of an appearance there or whether it is perceived as pure or whatnot.

THE DREAMER CANNOT BE SEEN IN A DREAM, YET EVERYTHING SYMBOLISES THE DREAMER
The foundation of Alexius’ Duality Hacks is that a world where there seems to be more than one is to be compared to a dream or a movie – in other words, it is an illusion! This is possible to sense, just like when you – within the illusion of a world where there seems to be more than one – have a dream and for a moment think it is not real.

Regardless the distances and the apparent different persons in a dream, there are no distances and no differences at all. Everything is in the dreamer, so no matter where you appear to be in the dream you are with the dreamer. It is only the belief in its realty, that separates you from each other.

This does not mean that you in such a moment see what is real, but that you sense the unreality of a world where there seems to be more than one. You cannot see what is real because there is nothing real in an illusion, no matter what you seem to think, feel, experience or read – including Alexius’ Duality Hacks. But if can you sense that your appearance is as fleeting as a dream, you may also grasp the dreamer of it being real.

Reality, though, is not something definitive. It is formless and much more energetic than you can ever imagine in the dream of a world defined by time and space. Millions of atomic bombs exploding at one time are nothing compared to the formless energy of that which is One.

It is one perpetual present at an unimaginable speed – so fast that there is no difference to see, and nobody has the time to see anything. That is why nothing is happening in the formlessness of oneness. See A world where there seems to be more than one is to be compared to a movie of oneness played in slow motion.

Alexius is speaking from vague memories of the Enlightenment of that which is One, where the dream of a world defined by time and space is no more and therefore, neither Alexius to experience something. That is why – apart from the certainty that there is no more than that which is One and therefore not a world where there seems to be more than one – he only has vague memories of it.

There seems to be separate appearances to be defined by time and space in the dream called The World. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

If you believe see separated appearances defined by time and space, you see what you think you are, namely someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one. In other words, your belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is One fence off the formlessness of oneness.  Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

IF YOU EXPERIENCE SOMETHING, YOU ARE HALLUCINATING
The experience of seeing something can only occur in a world where there seems to be more than one. In such a world, one perpetual present appears to be hidden behind the idea of linear time, as it gives the impression, that there is a continuous flow of endless events with each their past and future.

Reality is that which is One. There is neither nothing inside or outside, as that requires more than one.

Selected fragments of this flow some gurus want you to freeze and uphold as if it is a state of peace or stillness, but like everything else in a world where there seem to be more than one, these states are based on excluding something upsetting or disturbing.

In other words, as they are based on the belief in separation, they exclude the only peace and stillness there is, namely the formlessness of oneness, which has no disturbances, as it takes more than one to be disturbed by something. So if you are feeling disturbed or feeling anything at all, you are either unreal or hallucinating.

THE ENLIGHTENMENT OF THAT WHICH IS ONE VERSUS GLIMPSES OF IT
The enlightenment of that which is One is a moment that starts in the dream of a world where there seems to be more than one. Yet, at the exact same moment, the dream is over. As that which is you were not in the dream, it is not awakening to a new awareness. On the contrary, there is no awareness of anything, nor that you seemed to have believed being someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one, as that requires more than one. There is just one bright light – so intense that there is nothing to see and, therefore, nothing to be.

stock-illustration-95146555-enso-circular-brush-stroke-japanese-zen-circle-calligraphy-n-7-

The Enlightenment of that which is One sucks everything out of you, so there is nothing to fall through a black hole into the formlessness of oneness. That is, if you do not determine the first stages of the black hole to look like a zen sign, for example. In that case, you are back in a world defined by time and space. Hence you are better off forgetting Alexius’ desAlexius’description hole if you want to go where nobody can go. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The light is there to suck what has been stripped free of the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one through a black hole into that which is One. That is if there are no leftovers of this belief because if there are, you will think that you see something and therefore return to a world where there seems to be more than one, as only in such a world can something be experienced to be seen by somebody.

In other words, if it is perceived as if there is something definable in the Enlightenment of that which is One, you will again appear to be someone definitive in a world defined by time and space.

Those who have exciting enlightenment experiences to tell about have held onto the belief in being someone definitive and therefore not as nobody been sucked through a black hole into the formlessness of that which is One, so what they have experienced is a glimpse of the Enlightenment of that which is One.

Glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One can be experienced by seeing, hearing, feeling or tasting it. But as it requires more than one to experience something, the glimpses are not the Enlightenment of that which is One.

From from the perspective of a world defined by time and space the Enlightenment of that which is one leads to nothing, because there is not something to see, and therefore nothing to define you as someone definitive. That which is One has no perspective, as it requires more than one to have something.

For someone who is fed up with appearing to be someone definitive, it is frustrating only to have glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One. Still, for those who love to appear as someone special, it is perfect because the glimpses can be used to pump up the specialness by lecturing or writing books about the experience of a vast empty space full of pure consciousness, love, bliss or whatever the glimpses are interpreted to reveal.

But it has nothing to do with the Enlightenment of that which is One because only someone definitive can be full of pure consciousness, love, bliss or anything else.

The rogue consciousness of the self* likes to give the impression that it can help you get more, whether in a so-called spiritual or materialistic way. Yet you never get anything but the need for even more. This need, however, you already had. It was because of that you believed to be someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one, so it appears that although that which is you is no different from the formlessness of that which is One, it is possible to be and have more than that which is One.

PART 2:
One who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One, as well as someone who is not, knows nothing. Those not to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One, however, do their best to act as if they know a lot. In contrast, one who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One has no such need, as the apparent differences in a world where there seems to be more than one are not perceived to make a difference. So there is nothing to know – except that there is no more than the formlessness of that which is One.

So whether you think that you know why it is raining, why you or somebody else do this or that, what you think you know is an illusion, as it takes more than one to know something and the formlessness of that which is One is everything because what is formless is endless.

From this follows, to love or help somebody, just like everything else in a world where there seems to be more than one, is an illusion and therefore not an attribute of that which is One.

Nothing that requires more than one is an attribute of oneness. In other words, love and whatnot only seem to be possible in a world where there seems to be more than one. However, believing to be someone in such a world can be helpful regarding having the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one undone. That is, if this is the purpose of using them. See hack #1.3 Pretending to be someone definitive is liberation or hack #2.1 Everything experienced is a symbol of oneness or hack #3.1 Inclusiveness is freedom or hack #7.1 Alone together, we go home.

In a world of linear time, this appears to take time. In the process, however, Alexius´ Duality Hacks will enable you to enjoy the illusion of that while having the belief that you are someone enjoying something undone. This does not apply to hack #6.1 The Enlightenment of that which is One, as there is nothing to enjoy in the fastest way possible to have the belief in being someone undone, namely the Enlightenment of that which is One because it takes more than one to enjoy anything. Besides, the Enlightenment of that which is One takes no time, as there is no time in that which is One.

All that being said about ways, the formlessness of that which is One is everything because what is formless is endless. Hence a world where there seems to be more than one is an illusion, including any way out of it. So to fully undo the belief in such a world, the way you appear to go must be undone as well.

A person cannot bid welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One. But a person can momentarily forget what and where it appears to be so that there is not something definable to hide the formlessness of that which is One. If a person just partly forgets what and where it appears to be, the Enlightenment of that which is One cannot be bid welcome. Yet, such a person may have glimpses of it. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

EPILOGUE:
Who is looking for food but those with an empty stomach. And who is looking for enlightenment, but those who feel empty. Unfortunately, most try to fill this emptiness with something of a pleasurable nature like, for example, bliss. But nothing can fill this emptiness because it is a fantasy based on the belief that you are someone specific in a world defined by time and space and that which is you is the formlessness of oneness, so that is not possible.

That is why you are bound to feel empty if believed to be someone specific. Therefore, the solution to feeling empty is not to fill up the emptiness but to undo the belief in being someone definitive.

An enlightened (in the sense of the Enlightenment of that which is One) never ask ‘who am I?’ because there is no doubt there is no more than that which is One and therefore not a world where there seems to be more than one – regardless it appears to be astral and whatnot. Consequently, the enlightened have no need for communities, discussions, so-called interesting exchanges or dialogues, sending love or anything else to make it appear as if there is someone specific there. Someone compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One does not believe but pretends to be someone.

NOTES:

  • The statements above about the fabricated states of gurus and no need for interacting in communities do not mean this must be avoided. If the world is an illusion, preventing any part of it is also an illusion. Nothing in fantasy, whether it appears to be within or without, in the heart or whatnot, needs to be avoided because nothing is real. You are free to have fun pretending to be what you are not when you know that.

Are there degrees of Enlightenment?

Updated July 14, 2022

Enlightenment can also be felt and heard in several degrees. AUM can open your inner ear.

The Enlightenment of that which is One cannot be experienced, but glimpses of it can, when you partly let go of the personality. It will seem to happen in degrees because as long as there appears to be an ‘I’ that thinks it has the power to let go of anything, you hang onto the person, thus appearing to be in a world where there seems to be more than one. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The answer to the question in the headline is both yes and no. Before elaborating on this, Alexius likes to remind you that if two people drink the exact same cup of tea, they will most likely describe it differently. Maybe one of them talks about it in a very ecstatic way and the other in a very down-to-earth way. Still, it is the same tea, so – in the context of this metaphor – please focus on the tea and not the description when you read this article.

In the Enlightenment of that which is One, everything happens simultaneously. Thus there are no specific elements available to combine into something understandable. Nor is there anybody to be aware of that or anything at all. Therefore, the Enlightenment of that which is One is not an experience or a state of some kind. It is that which is One, and there are no degrees of oneness. In the context of linear time, how long time it lasts is not to say because it is one perpetual present.

To rise again from the dead, as it feels like returning from the Enlightenment of that which is One to a world where there seems to be more than one, you again appear to be someone definitive. Yet, this is not something you believe to be but pretend to be. But whether you believe or pretend to be there, it is something that requires more than one, and so it seems to hide the Enlightenment of that which is One.

You can compare it to activating an app on your computer or smart media. When you do it, the desktop – although still there – is hidden until you turn off the app again.

Alexius is like every other person in the world not perfect. But unlike most others he knows, it is not possible to be perfect, because that requires more than one and there is no more than that which is One.

Alexius was very young when the belief in being someone definitive momentarily turned off for the first time. He did not know about the Enlightenment of that which is One from books or anywhere else, and he did not consider himself to have – what the purist may call – a pure mind or body. He probably still does not have that because the Enlightenment of that which is One does not change anything in the world. Nothing is transformed into peace, love, purity or whatever. There is no more than that which is One, so there is not something to change. That is the revelation of Enlightenment – and there are no degrees in that.

Balance is a concept invented, so that you can always feel out of balance and therefore constantly is occupied trying to get it. Being on a mission like that, you do not have time to see that there is no balance in an illusion – neither btw in that which is real. Reality is one and it takes two to have a balance.

Balance is a concept invented, so that you can always feel out of balance and therefore constantly being occupied by trying to get it right. On a mission like that, you do not have time to see that there is no balance in an illusion – neither by the way in that which is real, because reality is one and it takes more than one to be in balance. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Spiritual wannabe´s try to follow special ideas like for example the concept of balance – as if there is any balance in an illusionary world – so that when they have achieved the right balance they are considered spiritual, which they imagine is manifested by them moving at a very slow pace. This state of numbness they have decided is to be in higher consciousness. Yet high consciousness is as illusory as low, as it takes more than one to be have something. If instead they acknowledged, that they do not know what and where they are, the Enlightenment of that which is One comes so fast, that the the brain has no time to distinguish anything. Thus concepts of spirituality and whatnot falls apart.

He has no answer to questions like how come he bid welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One, or how come he returned to the world again. All he can say is that he is writing this article in a world that seems to be full of degrees. So yes, in such a world, you can experience degrees of Enlightenment. But they are not the Enlightenment of that which is One, though, but glimpses of it.

When he was a child, he was not allowed to see the fully decorated Christmas tree before Christmas Eve. But he took some sneak peeks through the door’s keyhole and was amazed by the light he saw. Those sneak peeks can be compared to glimpses of Enlightenment. You are still in your ordinary world from where you have glimpses of something very different.

In the context of this metaphor, it is not only the beautiful light from all the candles you experience looking through the keyhole, you can also hear all the glitter move on the green leaves. Actually, if you are more audio than visual-minded, these sounds might bliss you out rather than the light.

Apart from the visual and audiovisual aspects of the Enlightenment of that which is One, there are also aspects of feeling and tasting it. However, you do not need to follow all the aspects to erase what seems to hide that which is the oneness of you. One part will do. Alexius has followed the visual and emotional aspect of the Enlightenment of that which is one into the non-degree version. But since it is one perpetual present, it cannot be brought back into a world of linear time, so there are just vague memories of it.

Glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One is experienced through the inward-facing senses when the outward ones are partly closed. And just like ordinary experiences, there are degrees of them, and they can be remembered in the world of the outward-facing senses. These glimpses come to him daily in various degrees of the four aspects of the Enlightenment of that which is One. In his case, the easiest one is the emotional experience of hearing and feeling the sound that Aum or Sohang symbolises.

It sounds and feels like the vibrations from an enormous vacuum cleaner or the ventilation plant in an airport. Alexius has met people who have heard this humming when meditating but disregarded it as a sound coming from their neighbour using a vacuum cleaner. People spend so much time repeating Aum or Sohang in expectation of something mysterious to happen when all they have to do is repeat it a few times to get in tune with the humming floating on top of the ‘end’ of the word. Here you can read the practical instruction on how to do this.

The word Aum or Sohang can be compared to the control knob on an analogue radio that you use to fine-tune into hearing just one station. When you have gotten it, you do not need the control knob – or in this case, the word Aum or Sohang to hear the echo of that which is One. If you hear or feel the humming of that which is One while still aware of the world, it is a glimpse of the Enlightenment of that which is One, which is revealed in degrees depending on how much you are unaware of a world where there seems to be more than one.

All degrees of Enlightenment are experiences, and any experience is part of the illusion of a world where there seems to be more than one. However, these degrees of Enlightenment appear to bring you closer to the beginning of the world – just after the big bang – which is often experienced as a paradise full of ecstasy and bliss. Yet, like all other experiences, these also have an end. So does this article.

You may expect a conclusion to the above, but there is none. And if you do not try to make one yourself, you are on the way to having glimpses of Enlightenment. Read here how to speed it up.

When you believe there is more than one, everything requires more than one

Updated June 4, 2022

It takes two to define a person in the world.

It takes two to be different, but it also takes two to see that differences do not make a difference. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

It takes two to become enlightened. »When your eyes become single, your whole body shall be full of light«, Jesus said. And it takes two to appear as someone in a world where there seems to be more than one.

It takes two to make a difference. Both the positive and the negative pole is needed to produce electricity.

It takes two to see that the apparent differences do not make a difference.

Everything in a world where there seems to be more than one requires the involvement of at least two. You cannot appear to be someone without being defined by something else, and there cannot be a world without someone to define it.

In reality, there is no more than that which is one, but as the world where you appear to be is based on the idea that it is possible to be and have more than One, to come back to reality, you have to start as if you are more than one.

The person you appear to be in the world cannot be in the virtual world of a game like Super Mario, so you pretend to be there to participate in it. That, however, does not make the virtual world – or your appearance there – real. On the contrary, you are not what and where you pretend to be.

In the same manner, a world where there seems to be more than one cannot make that which is you real because being there is something you pretend. And no matter how good you are at it and whatever you pretend to be, it is not real, including appearing to be spiritual.

No words that seem to value you as someone more evolved and better than others will make you anything other than what you already are in the world where there seems to be more than one, namely an illusion.

If you pretend to be a black car in the world of Monopoly, what you pretend to be is an illusion regardless you go to prison, own many houses and whatnot. There can be many changes in a game, but it does not change that you are not there. You only appear to be there.

To not focus on anything in particular.

When not focusing on anything in particular, the world of the outward-facing senses fades away. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

To bid welcome the Enlightenment of that which is one, you must overlook the apparent differences in a world where there seems to be more than one. Not by perceiving them as one. On the contrary. Separation is the nature of the world.

So if you see them one by one without focusing on anyone in particular, their apparent differences make no difference. Therefore, since they become the same, so do your eyes. Thus as one eye, they fill your whole body with light.

The Enlightenment of that which is one is not possible with two eyes. They must be closed so that the dimensional world experienced with the outward-facing senses is not seen. Well, it is not so much the eyes that must be closed, but your attention towards the world you believe they see.

In the Enlightenment of that which is one, there is literally nothing to see. If there is, you have not been blinded by the brightness of the Enlightenment of that which is one but fenced it off, so all you get are glimpses of it, which often is confused with the Enlightenment of that which is one.

So many search for their real self. But since it requires more than one to find something, and there is no more than that which is one, what you discover is unreal.

Nobody knows what the Enlightenment of that which is One is, nor Alexius. It cannot be experienced because that requires more than one. Nevertheless, most of those who talk about it show off as if they know what it is. They are just as eager as everybody else in the world to be acknowledged as someone definitive. In their case, they achieve it by explaining what Enlightenment is. Therefore, since the belief in being someone definitive is the cause of suffering, their teachings of light bring about darkness.

It is very beautiful with the light of the sun coming through the clouds, but it has nothing to do with enlightenment. It is just another sight in the world, that is just as virtual as the so-called egoless states the gurus and their followers are dreaming about.

It is stunning with the light of the sun coming through the clouds, but it has nothing to do with Enlightenment. It is just another sight produced via the outward-facing senses to make you so excited that it seems real although it is make-believe. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The idea that Enlightenment results in a person who is peaceful, loving, compassionate, patient, humble, open-minded and at one with everything is an idle hope of becoming a superior being, thus more than that which is One.

But the Enlightenment of that which is one does not bring about anything. Results are of a world where there seems to be more than one, and the Enlightenment of that which is one does not know more than one. Therefore, one who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One has not been changed or transformed. Everything is the same, except a world where there seems to be more than one is not perceived as real.

If you need time to process this article, you consent to the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one because processing something, as well as taking your time, requires more than one.

APPENDIX:
The visual aspect of Enlightenment of that which is one can be compared to closing all apps on a computer, including the one simulating the desktop. Without the appearance of a desktop, there is nothing to hide the light used to simulate a world on the screen.

The aspect of Enlightenment of that which is one that Aum, Sohang or The Word of God symbolise, can be compared to the humming from the fan or the engine in a computer. You can hear this vibration all the time – especially if you do not look at the screen or listen to the sounds of the world simulated by the computer.

Though the light behind the desktop and the distant humming are the means for fabricating a simulated reality on the computer screen, they are not part of this fake world, so if you want to see or hear what is powering the world that appears on the screen, you must do what is needed to stop that world. However, as long as you see or hear something, it is not the Enlightenment of that which is One but glimpses of it. See hack #6.2 Glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One.

This is a metaphor to say that you have to undo the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one in order not to hide the formlessness of oneness that was already there and forever will be.

NOTES:

  • As a person in the world, Alexius is not religious or has a need to follow so-called spiritual persons or philosophies. Nobody needs to do that. However, it is as illusionary to follow somebody as not, so feel free to do whatever seems beneficial in undoing the belief that there is more than that which is One.

‘The Enlightenment of that which is one’ cannot be seen

Updated August 1, 2022

The eye cannot see this pic. It is registered as light divided into red, green and blue by three taps in the eye. This info is sent to the brain, where the same organ process both so-called reality and imagined or virtual reality The three colors are mixed in such a way, that it appears to be an image of someting solid in the world, that can be defined by time and space, even though almost 99% of matter consists of empty space.

Since it requires more than one to understand something, you call off the Enlightenment of that which is One if you try to process it. And since it also takes more than one to get a second chance, this is out of the question. But, since oneness is formless, thus endless, you have never left it. Thus it is only the belief in separation that needs to be undone. Fortunately, the Enlightenment of that which is One does that right away. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The Enlightenment of that which is One cannot be known because it takes more than one to be aware of something. However, having been in a spiral of colours exploding into a bright white light, opaque and formless, one may vaguely remember that it abruptly extracted the experience of being someone definitive and left it at the threshold of a black hole.* After that, nothing gracefully fell through a neverending void into that which is one.

From the above, you may get the impression that the Enlightenment of that which is One is a process over time. But that is not so – it happens simultaneously, or rather, it does not occur because it requires more than one for something to happen. That is why, when returning to a world where there seems to be more than one, it may take a long time to grasp you are to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One.

But the reason could also be that the Enlightenment of that which is One has nothing to do with the merry-go-round stories made up by doo-gooders – based on speculations and second-hand knowledge about awakening, connection, synchronicity, inner peace, stillness, heaven and whatnot.

You do not experience anything because you are abruptly destroyed. Nothing is left of what you believed to be in a world where there seems to be more than one. You never were in such a world, nor anywhere else because it takes more than one to be somewhere, and there is no more than that which is One since it is formless, thus endless.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Alexius’ Duality Hacks offers no hope because it operates in time, which is an illusion.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

There is no way to the Enlightenment of that which is One, especially not of restraint or following a schedule. Going there is a way of uncertainty, one beat at a time.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The Enlightenment of that which is One is not a way back to oneness because you have never left it. This is why nothing is going back through a black hole into the formlessness of oneness. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

To get a sense of the Enlightenment of that which is One, you must empty yourself for all ideas about it. And then again, doing so will not help because it enhances the belief that you are someone definitive. And believing that is what hides the Enlightenment of that which is One. Therefore, do not try to implement this article in your way of seeing things, but use it to have your belief system undone.

The Enlightenment of that which is One can be compared to being a door to oneness. But just like a door in a house has nothing to do with the house, the Enlightenment of that which is One is not oneness. It has no doors because it requires more than one to have a door or anything at all. Nor is it in a world where there seems to be more than one, as there is no more than that which is One.

No worries. That which is you is not in a world where there seems to be more than one. Just like – in the context of such a world – you are not in the world of a computer game, even though it may feel so because of the reactions to the game. These reactions, however, are not caused by the world in the game – it has no such power – but how you choose to perceive it. In other words, the experience of being someone in a virtual world is an experience fabricated by yourself.

Likewise, the experience of being someone in a world where there seems to be more than one. And then again, this is not really so. That which is you is not imagining being in a world where there seems to be more than one because it takes more than one to be somewhere, and that which is you is not anywhere because it is the formlessness of oneness.

Nevertheless, you experience being someone in a world where there seems to be more than one for some unexplainable reason. So, in the context of this experience, the Enlightenment of that which is One is the door out of it because it undoes all experiences.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Seen from the world of duality enlightenment, which represents the formlessness of non-duality, is very boring compared to all the excitement duality seems to offer.

The formlessness of oneness is very dull compared to the excitement of a world where there seems to be more than one – at least as seen from the perspective of such a world. Yet, none of the experiences in such a world last, so believing to be someone there, you can never get enough. But that is not a problem in oneness because there is no more than One. Thus you have everlasting peace. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Meditation may result in the experience of something you interpret as infinity, purity, divinity or unity. But you will not experience the Enlightenment of that which is One by meditating or doing something else. It cannot be brought about because that takes more than one.

Even if you could cause the Enlightenment of that which is One, you would probably hold back. Perceived from a world where there seems to be more than, oneness is incredibly dull. There is nothing to see or feel or look forward to. Thus it is not very appealing compared to the excitement you get in a world where there seems to be more than one from falling in love, having sex or whatnot. However, it has a prize, which is a constant feeling of failure because no matter how much more you seem to become or have, you are bound to lose it.

But suppose the Enlightenment of that which is One is what you long for. In that case, it is best to be so disinterested in achieving something that you pay no attention to having the belief in being someone undone by a highly bright light, so nobody gently falls into the formlessness of oneness.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The purpose of feelings is to make you feel more than that which is one, although it is formless, thus endless, wherefore there is no more than one.

In other words, feeling something is an illusion. The same applies to experiencing something. That is why the Enlightenment of that which is One neither can be felt nor experienced.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The Enlightenment of that which is One does not change anything – except that you know everything experienced is fake, including god, love, ego, and whatnot. When you know that, you are free to step on it and play the game of being someone in a world where there seems to be more than one.

One way to play the game is to pretend to be in it because where you pretend to be, you are not. Read about this in hack #1.3 Pretending to be someone definitive is liberation.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

When the sun shines on a window, it reveals many things one may not have seen before. But, on the other hand, the Enlightenment of that which is One shows nothing. It does not shed its light on anything, as that requires more than one. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

When the sun is shining sharp and bright, it reveals the state of a window. However, this is contrary to the Enlightenment of that which is One. Although it can be said to be brighter than thousands of suns, it reveals nothing. There is not something to see and no need to see anything. Not because the light fulfils you, but because it undoes the belief in being someone definable.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings presents no definition of the Enlightenment of that which is One because it is not part of a world defined by time and space, thus not definable.

That is why it cannot be seen. Yet if you return from it to a world defined by time and space, you may have vague memories of a light brighter than thousands of suns if you are a visually minded person. If you are an audio minded person, you may have vague memories of ethereal harmonies with sounds that can be compared to bells and harps. See the article What sort of external music resembles the internal one.

And suppose you are an emotional-minded person. In that case, you probably have vague memories of a feeling that can be compared to the sensation of thousands of bubbly Coca-Colas mixed into one bubble. This is actually what the vibration that Aum, Sohang or The Word of God symbolise. Should you be into the taste of things, you may return with vague memories of thousands of smoothies fused into one flavour of milk and honey, maybe with a hint of strawberries or liquorice.

Since the world generally focuses on seeable effects, the visual aspect of the Enlightenment of that which is One is the most known. But the other features also make you forget to focus on something definable, so you, as nobody, are drawn into the formlessness of oneness.

Whatever aspect of the Enlightenment you naturally are attracted depends on your preferences as someone definitive. The goal, though, is not to see, hear, feel or taste the Enlightenment of that which is One. It cannot be experienced since there is no more than that which is One, and it takes more than one to experience something. For the same reason, there is no goal.

The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Believing the world – including astral planes and whatnot – is real can be compared to sitting in a cinema, where you project yourself onto the world that appears to be on the screen so that the reactions to your projections seem to come from the world instead of you. Hence you believe in experiencing a world outside of you.

The Enlightenment of that which is One is to be compared to a sudden crack in the roll of the film with the movie you project yourself onto. Therefore, the experience of this world is replaced by a bright white light, thus not something to project yourself upon.

In the context of this metaphor, what is real is not the bright white light but the source that is projecting it, namely the movie projector, which is neither in the world on the screen nor the bright white light, although it is the power making it possible for something to appear on the screen.

But since this metaphor is part of the movie called The World, it is, of course, as fictitious as everything else in The World. And since there is nothing unreal, there is no movie, thus nobody watching it. Hence the movie metaphor is just a way to explain what cannot be described. If it could, the film would be real, and there would be somebody in it.

This is why so many want to know how the world was created and why they are there. If it can be explained, they can rest assured they are real. However, in reality, there is nothing to explain because there is no more than that which is One, and it takes more than one to explain something.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The Enlightenment of that which is One cannot reveal itself if you want it to change or expand your consciousness because it takes more than one to be aware of anything. But since glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One are samples, thus incomplete, you can have that. Read more about that in hack #6.2 Glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One.

*) It may not be part of the Enlightened memories that the data of being someone is left at the threshold of a black hole. Perhaps it is a conclusion made in retrospect.
