‘A state of not-knowing’ and how to get there

Updated May 23, 2022

Everything considered a fact is made up by the brain. It is, for example, not a fact that you see this picture now. It has taken the brain one second to fabricate this experience. Hence what you believe in seeing, you saw in the past. And then again, there was no picture one second ago. It is a fantasy of the brain made from nothing to make it look like you are something. TWISTING EMPTINESS INTO SOMETHING EXCITING
Your experiences are
not founded on info coming from the sensory system like the brain wants you to believe, which you gladly do because otherwise, it is evident that the world you experience does not consist of tangible elements but intangible thoughts.

You may have noticed the brain does not need your eyes to be open to producing vivid images that look like the world you see with open eyes. Nor does it require you to be awake or sexually stimulated by something in the physical world to produce an orgasm. It can make it happen in a dream. And after watching several movies in a row, the brain fuses their different plots into one continuous story.

The substantiality of what and where you believe to be is a fantasy made by the brain from out of nothing. Since this also is a fantasy, what you experience is nonexisting – like a dream you experience to have is not inside you but nowhere.

This is because whether experiences are perceived as yours or others, real or imagined, authentic or fake, fabrication or factual, physical or spiritual, they are processed by the brain in one higgledy-piggledy by the very same organ. It views everything it processes as another construction of thoughts that needs to be shaped into something which seems so exciting that you do not notice it is a fantasy created from nothing.

A STATE OF NOT KNOWING
Since every experience that someone is aware of has taken the brain one second to manufacture, the origin of what you believe to be experiencing right now is one second away (read more about that here). Therefore, if you go back one second from your present experience, you return to the nothingness the brain used one second to twist into something you perceive to happen now. Since the brain has used one second to twist a perceived gap between oneness and nothing into your present experience of something (read more about that here), it only takes one second to get back to the nothingness of a state of not-knowing.

The apparent transition from something to nothing may feel like being in a cage that cannot be escaped. Not because there is a cage. But because what you believed to be is not disguised as something anymore, you cannot escape the feeling of claustrophobia, nor any other emotion, by hiding it in something. Fortunately, by accepting that, all feelings are exposed as nothing. Therefore, eventually, there does not appear to be something to hide that which cannot be felt because it is formless, namely oneness.

Entering a state of not-knowing* is like falling down into the body. Not in the sense that you become more physical or it is integrated with higher frequencies. You do not become more of anything, nor do you incorporate something, because falling down in the body, you grasp it is nothing and that the experience of it as something substantial in a tangible world is a fantasy. However, this is not sensed while in a state of not-knowing,* because there is nobody to be aware of this, nor how blissful it is to not be conscious of something specific.

Hence everything said in Alexius’ Duality Hacks about a state of not-knowing* is based on the memories that pop up after Alexius returns to the consciousness of being someone definitive. Though a state of not-knowing* is impersonal, the memories of it are not, so his memories can be different from yours. Just like two persons drinking the same tea may describe it differently, although the tea is the same.

If you remain in this nothingness, the subsequent experiences produced by the brain are not perceived as something because you are in a state of not-knowing.* However, they look like before a state of not-knowing,* but the experiences are not perceived as separated from you. In the case of having glimpses of enlightenment in a state of not-knowing,* which is not uncommon, the experience of the physical world, however, fades out proportionally with the intensity of the glimpses.

In this state, the experiences of a world where everything seems separated are still going on. But since what you believed in being cannot be recalled, there is nobody to perceive the apparently different experiences to make a difference. Hence you are in the bliss of nothing, which is nowhere because the brain has not rendered it into something.

There is no awareness of being someone in this state, so there is nobody to know that the emptiness of not believing to be someone is pure bliss until you return to the conscious experience of being someone definitive and vague memories of it pop up.

You may not be in touch with this bliss, but just like you wake up feeling refreshed after a good sleep, regardless you remember your dreams or not, you start over with a clean slate when you return from a state of not-knowing* to the experience of being someone. And that feels wonderful.

In a state of not-knowing,* your eyes may be closed or open, perhaps you sit in a bus or a park, walk down a noisy street, talk a lot or are silent. Everything is as normal, and thoughts go on as usual since what and where you appear to be is a construction of thoughts. There is one difference, though. Before, thoughts were perceived to be something and now as nothing. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

However, if the brain for more than 20 minutes, 45 at most,* is not kept busy by someone experiencing an ongoing conversation inside or outside with somebody perceived to be someone else, it falls into a coma. There is more about that in the following article.

To keep the brain going, thus what you believe in being, you must repeatedly talk with someone seen as separated from you. It makes no difference to the brain if the conversation seems internal or external because both ways confirm its world of separation to be real. But if not doing that for more than 20 minutes, 45 at most,* the brain falls into a coma, wherefore it cannot process more experiences of you as someone.

The brain feels it has failed if you do not participate in its tale. Thus it stops telling it and falls into a coma.

In other words, if separation is not continually acknowledged as real, the brain falls apart. Thus you cannot come back to the consciousness of being someone substantial in a tangible world, nor can you continue in the bliss of emptiness as the fantasy about something made from nothing has stopped. Actually, it never began because there is no more than that which is One, and it takes more than one to make something.

But most likely, you will leave a state of not-knowing* a long time before that revelation. And since you are returning to the consciousness of being someone definitive as the basic self which you originally were meant to be in the fantasy of the brain, you are in sync with the thoughts of the brain. Being that, you support it, and the brain, in return, gives you happiness.

Therefore, since you become so satisfied that you do not need anything in particular, you happily apply one or more of Alexius’ Duality Hacks, again and again, and enter a state of not-knowing* for brief moments of bliss until this gets so intense that you cannot help bidding welcome the enlightenment of that which is One. See hack #6.3 The inward-facing senses, the Enlightenment of that which is One and glimpses of it.

No reason to blame yourself for leaving a state of not-knowing. It is not possible to remain there, because the brain falls into a coma if not engaged in continous conversation about something.  Besides, you return to the conscious experience of being someone with a clean slate so you automatically serve the brain, which is adventurous.

This state of not-knowing lasts from a split second to 20 minutes, 45 at most, whereafter you either bid welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One (see hack #6.1 From the inward-facing senses through a black hole into that which is One) or return to the consciousness of being someone in a world where everything seems separated.

In the latter, you return as the basic self, which serves the brain and thus everybody because the brain has no personal preferences. Consequently, you feel good. And to enhance this feeling, the brain keeps injecting you with shots of happiness. This after-effect of a state of not-knowing can last from a few seconds to several years. See more about that at the end of this article. And see how you can prolong the after-effect by applying hack #4.4 The duality flow goes to non-duality.

Being a servant, however, feels humiliating to the special self. It wants to be in control, so it tries to exclude anything unknown by quickly making a perception where everything that does not fit into its concepts of living in the now, for example, is excluded. But since exclusion is founded on separation, which is the root of all problems, excluding something does not make you present but distant. That is, of course, until you choose not to make a perception where everything that does not fit into your belief system is excluded. See hack #4.2 The brain’s script and how to perceive it to feel happy.

However, let us not get ahead of ourselves. You probably go back and forth between the consciousness of being someone definitive and a state of not-knowing* many times before you remain in the latter and forget about being someone at all.

Alexius’ Duality Hacks gladly admit that they nothing. Thus applying the empty breath, there is not anything to perceive the present moment as something. Hence you do not get the frustration of something but the bliss of nothing. Read here how to connect with the empty breath.

When you hike, you need to take a break after a while. And so do you from the conscious experience of being someone by being in a state of not-knowing. Just like you start afresh after a break from hiking, you start renewed – or rather re-established  – after a state of not-knowing because it wipes the slate clean. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

THE BLISS OF NOTHING
Though the empty breath has no need to be remembered by you, doing so is beneficial for your well-being as someone definitive and the undoing of believing to be that.

It is not easy to explain about the transparent flow of bliss, that the empty breath entails, because it comes from the absence of the conscious experience of us as somebody.

But you cannot remember it for more than 20 minutes, 45 at most, at a time, if you want to continue the experience of being someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one. Read more about that here. Thus a great way of almost always remembering it is to quickly change between the conscious experience of being someone definitive and a state of not-knowing, which the empty breath entails and in which the slate is wiped clean and you, therefore, return to the conscious experience of being someone as the basic self. Read more about the basic self in hack #4.1 The basic self versus the special one.

This can be done by following the rhythm of the breath so that when it expands the body, you are in the conscious experience of being someone definitive and in a state of not-knowing when it contracts the body. Click here for a more detailed explanation of how to quickly go back and forth between the conscious experience of being someone definitive and a state of not-knowing.

Returning to that which is one is not a matter of going anywhere. Oneness is formless and therefore endless, so it is impossible to leave it. But nevertheless, it seems possible to believe that it is. Fortunately, the empty breath undoes this belief so gently that we can enjoy it while having it undone. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

It is not a matter of letting go or surrender since doing so enhances the belief in being someone definitive. And so does trying to figure out if it would be better to follow the rhythm of the breath the other way around. As long as you are not in charge but follow the flow, it makes no difference which way you experience it.

What you believe in being is gently falling apart, when rapidly going back and forth between the consciousness of being someone definitive and a state of not-knowing, because in a state of not-knowing all definitions are errased.

Since you, therefore, do not perceive yourself to be special when returning to the conscious experience of being someone, there is no need for something specific to define you, so it is easy returning to a state of not-knowing. Read more about the perception of yourself as special or not in hack #4.1 The basic self versus the special one.

When in the flow of going back and forth between knowing and not-knowing, the belief in being someone undone is one day undone. You do not wonder when because you enjoy being in the flow.

Besides, time is an illusion, and every experience is bound to end, as in a state of not-knowing the apparent differences in a world where there seems to be more than one do not appear to make a difference, so one by one, they are cancelled out.

The empty breath cancels out the apparent differences in a world where there seems to be more than one. This does not mean that they are not perceived, but that they are not judged to make a difference. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

When every so often connected with the empty breath, nothing remains a problem, because the differences, that appear to have caused it, are cancelled out the very moment you return to the empty breath, so they cannot be used to make a perception of you as someone making a difference.

That is, if you do not prevent the empty breath from cancelling out the differences and insist on some of them makes a difference, for example if you are in a friendship or a romantic relationship. Fortunately, the frustration that seems to arise from claiming to know what is right can be used to ignite a take-off into ‘the empty breath’.

In short, the rapid on and off connection with the empty breath will sooner or later end all experiences because it cancels out differences. Without them, there is nothing definite to encounter. And thus, not something to hide there is nothing but that which is one as it is formless and therefore endless.

Only in a world where there seems to be more than one, does there appear to be levels, so if you are experiencing to be advancing through levels, the belief that there is more than that which is not being undone but enhanced.

This does not mean oneness is revealed. It is not possible because that requires more than one. But what appears to hide it can be exposed as nothing. That is what Alexius’ Duality Hacks is about, namely revealing that what you perceive to experience as something is nothing, including what you believe to be. Since realising this requires more than one, it is only possible in a world where there seems to be more than one, and since it is a world of linear time, this is a process in time.

The willingness to realise this is often initiated by admitting that you are not willing to recognise that what you believe to be is nothing because by acknowledging this, you agree that what you appear to be is make-believe and, therefore, not that which is you.

About willingness, see The empty breath and the bliss of not believing to be someone and Willingness to not exclude but include undoes the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one

To see that your hidden grievances are nothing disguised as something is as simple as recognising the nothingness of this haze. You do not need to analyse or understand it but go into it with your eyes wide open. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

WHERE IS THE BLISS OF NOTHING?
Although what we believe in being seems to come across somewhere, it is nowhere because it is an experience created by the brain from out of nothing. The brain is as immaterial as the experiences it fabricates. Still, it uses them to make itself appear as a material thing in a physical being, who seems to have the experiences of a tangible world that the brain fabricates and, therefore, believes to be a substantial being in a world made of solid elements.

In the context of this illusion, where nothing seems to be something, a state of not-knowing is a version of nothing that has not been processed by the brain into an experience of something. Read more about that here. In a world that is experienced to be something, a state of not-knowing may, in an abstract way, appear to originate from the back of the head, when all the grievances that have been stored there are acknowledged as old friends and, therefore, do not appear to create pressure in your head but sheer bliss. Yet, the whole brain will never be in a transparent bliss of nothing.

The way to become friends with old complaints is not to get rid of them or understand them, nor to forgive those you resent for having caused them, but to acknowledge what the grievances make you feel by being that and nothing else, so there is not something to contrast what you feel, wherefore neither you nor what you feel is definable. Hence you are in the bliss of not knowing what and where you appear to be.

HOW TO ENTER A STATE OF NOT-KNOWING:
Being inclusive, which you automatically are when not exclusive, is an incredible hack to apply when you feel confused. If not excluding and thus including fuzzy thoughts, sharpness and fuzziness meet. And since any contrast cancels out itself when its opposing sides are not kept apart, you are neither defined as fuzzy nor sharp. The more you stay in a perfect moment like this, the less you are somebody. Read more about that in HACK #3 Not being exclusive but inclusive is freedom from being someone definitive. Therefore, eventually, you are nobody, so you enter a state of not knowing.

A more direct way to this state is connecting with the empty breath – especially if you feel speedy and restless (see hack #5.1 Uncontrolled speed leads to a state of not-knowing). However, when feeling tired, pretending to be that is perhaps the better choice of a hack because what you pretend to be is not you (see hack #1.3 Pretending to be someone definitive is liberation).

If you tend to justify everything unpleasant with somebody or something, perceiving everything as symbols of oneness is most likely the hack to go for. Alone together could also be a good hack in this case. Read more about these hacks in hack #2.1 Everything experienced is a symbol of life, and hack #7 ‘Alone together’ is the key to that which is One. However, except for hack #5.1 Uncontrolled speed leads to a state of not-knowing, those mentioned above are more geared towards enjoying duality than having a break from it.

Please be aware that the purpose of Alexius’ Duality Hacks is not to heal the body but the sick belief that you are in it. So if the body is sick, consider consulting a healthcare professional.

That being said, the more this sick belief is healed, the more the body is set free from your dominance. Hence the biological system is not blocked from repairing the body. Nevertheless, sometimes it may be helpful to kickstart this with nootropics for boosting the brain, Blackroll for self-massage, and far-infrared heating pads for bodily relaxation. Read more about setting the body free from your domination of it in hack #4.3 The toxic mix of physical and non-physical issues.

Read more about a state of not-knowing in the below hacks:

NOT BEING EXCLUSIVE BUT INCLUSIVE, THERE IS NO GOOD AND EVIL:
Whenever you think you know something, you have eaten from the tree of knowledge to turn you and those you consider like-minded into the good ones and others as bad. However, the result of this knowledge is not surety. You always feel something is missing when you have projected what you judge as wrong in yourself onto others to feel good at their expense.

In the context of the belief in being someone in a world of separation, the solution to this is to bring back the projection of what you experience in being so good, and evil can meet where they were separated, namely in yourself. Hence they cancel out each other (read more about that here), so there is nothing to define you. And consequently, nothing to distract you from happily following the commands of the brain and, therefore, being in sync with the present as it creates it. Read more about that here.

Having glimpses of enlightenment, you stick to one aspect of it at a time. So if you are feeling it, you do not try to see it as well. Yet, if the visions of it start to take over, you go with that. Suppose you do not try to divide your vision into different shapes. In that case, you will not see patterns and colours in the visual glimpses of enlightenment but one bright light. It sucks out everything you believe to be so that there is nothing to gracefully fall through a black hole into that which is One. Read more about that here. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

GLIMPSES OF ENLIGHTENMENT IN A STATE OF NOT-KNOWING:
In a state of not-knowing, you may have glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is One. But they are not the enlightenment of that which is One – just like a movie trailer only is a glimpse of the movie. It is impossible to see the enlightenment of that which is One, as it requires more than one. Yet, it is possible to see glimpses of it. Their intensity is proportional to how much you prioritise the inward-facing senses. The more you see, hear, feel or taste glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One, the less you see, hear, feel or taste the world of the external senses. Read more about that here.

In the case of Alexius, the visual glimpses of enlightenment are often so bright that he wonders if he has forgotten to turn off the electric light when he closes his eyes to go to sleep. In the morning, he wakes up to the sounds of ethereal harmonies. Read more about that here. This is not to be understood that the glimpses of enlightenment blend in with the physical world. They are experienced with the inward-facing senses and the physical world with the external ones. Read more about that here.

In other words, the visual glimpses of enlightenment do not lighten up the room. On the contrary, it makes it impossible for Alexius’ to see where he is physically speaking. And the ethereal harmonies do not mix with the sounds of the birds from the trees outside Alexius’ bedroom but drown them out, even though the ethereal harmonies are the most subtle polyphony of bell-like sounds. That is why you better block out glimpses of enlightenment when driving a car or something else that calls for the external senses.

Since we are used to perceiving experiences as if they come from a world outside of us, we probably perceive glimpses of enlightenment to come from inside. But this is not so. They come from the world of the inward-facing senses, and it is in the gap between oneness that the brain perceives as something. However, it has not rendered the world of the inward-facing senses into something. Consequently, it is nowhere.

So when Alexius’ Duality Hacks say that glimpses of enlightenment come from the inward-facing senses and the experience of the world outside of us comes from the outward-facing ones, it is not because the senses actually are divided into inside and outside, but that is how we tend to perceive it. See The empty breath syncs the inward and outward-facing senses.

Anyway, if you forget to perceive the splashes of light in different shapes and colours or the ethereal harmonies to differ from each other, the glimpses of light or sound fuse into one light or sound in which you graciously keep falling through empty space until it has emptied you out and there is not something to reunite with that which is One. The same applies to feeling or tasting glimpses of enlightenment. This occurs by itself if you remain in a state of not-knowing for more than 20 minutes, 45 at most.

It is not normal, though, to stay that long in a state of not-knowing, nor to forget to perceive the glimpses of enlightenment differently. Instead, you, relatively quickly, leave a state of not-knowing to be in the after-effect of it.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The changeover to a state of not-knowing may seem unpleasant. This is because the brain tries to distract you from leaving its definable world by producing very tangible and disturbing experiences, as if ants crawl on your body, for instance, so that you feel attacked and thus being someone definitive. 5.2 ‘The empty breath’ syncs the inward and outward-facing senses [draft]

Alexius Jorgensen in the bliss of not believing to be someone

It is not thoughts that prevent us from being in the bliss of nothing but the desire to accomplish something specific. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Reading this article about the empty breath can be beneficial if you want to unlearn what you have learned about being someone so you can connect with the empty breath and float in its bliss of not believing to be anybody. But if you are tired of words and want to do that now, go to Take-offs into the empty breath.

NOTHING TWISTED INTO SOMETHING
It takes more than one to appear as someone, and there is no more than that which is one since it is formless, thus endless. Thus appearing as someone in a world where there seems to be more than one is a fantasy made from nothing, experienced by nothing.

This is not to say that oneness is nothing. It is that which is One, and it takes more than one to be anything. For the same reason, it is impossible to fantasise about something in oneness. Nevertheless, it seems possible to imagine there is something outside of it. But since oneness is endless, there is nothing outside of it. So even though the brain twists it into something, it is non-existing.

This is probably why science concludes that the world we seem to feel and see consists of 99.9999999 per cent empty space. And the rest, despite it also is empty space and as immaterial as a dream, is what we perceive to be elements of matter making up a world defined by time and space.

Just like everything else sensed, the empty breath is invisible and colourless until the brain ascribes it to a specific shape and colour. But as the empty breath does not aspire to be something, the brain does not care to twist it into an object. Thus it remains invisible and colourless.

Not knowing what and where you are is the bliss of not believing to be someone

In the connectedness with the empty breath, the apparent difference between the opposing sides of the contrasts making up the experience of duality is cancelled out. Not in the sense that you do not register them anymore, but that you do not perceive them to make a difference. Therefore, since there is no separation to attest to duality, you are in the bliss of not believing to be someone definitive.  Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

THE BLISS OF NOTHING
Though science seems to know that the experience of something is made from nothing, thus is make-believe, they explore the experiences of something as they are real. However, in Alexius’ Duality Hacks, we expose something as nothing, so there does not seem to be something hiding there never was or will be anything but the formlessness of oneness.

The experiences the brain fabricates of someone substantial in a tangible world only seem real when perceived as something. If not, they are exposed as nothing. To see that, you go back in time to the nothingness the brain twists into your everyday experience of something.

Since the empty breath resides there, and it has taken the brain one second to fabricate your current experience of something, it only takes one second to connect with the empty breath and be in a state of not-knowing, thus the bliss of nothing. This happens via the inward-facing senses. But if the brain is not kept active in a feedback loop, with thoughts that seem to confirm the world of the outward-facing senses as something, it falls into a coma. Thus you cannot be in the bliss of nothing for more than 20 minutes, 45 at most, at a time if you want to return to a world of something. Read more about that here.

Connecting with the empty breath is not about being deeper, purer or balanced. Being something is part of the experience of being someone, and the empty breath is not part of that but the nothingness that this experience is fabricated from.

In the flow of not believing to be someone

Should you wonder, who chooses to believe in being someone in the world of the outward-fencing senses, or who has programmed the brain to produce this world so that it seems tangible, or who is connecting with the empty breath, or who is wondering about this, the answer is nobody. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

WHAT AND WHERE ARE THE INWARD AND OUTWARD-FACING SENSES
What you see, hear, feel and taste in the world of the inward-facing senses, and the outward-facing ones are based on the same sensory system. Thus their different names do not mean they differ from each other, physically speaking, but they are different ways of experiencing the same frequencies of the nothingness that the brain twists into experiences perceived as proof of being someone.

In the case of the inward-facing senses, the experience of its world is abstract because the brain has not yet processed the frequencies of nothingness to appear as physical elements outside of you. Thus it feels as if the world is inside you. But in the world of the outward-facing senses, the brain has processed nothing into something, so you appear as someone definitive in a tangible world outside of you.

However, since it takes more than one to experience something and as there is no more than that which is One, any experience is an illusion, regardless it seems to come from the outward or inward-facing senses.

Consequently, the above distinction between inward and outward-facing senses and a brain receiving something real from the sensory system is part of the non-existing brain’s plot to deceive you into believing you are experiencing something where there is nothing.

It takes nobody to know where the inner senses are

The abstract world of the inward-facing senses is experienced when time and space are not entirely considered real. Ultimately speaking, though, these experiences from the inward-facing senses are no more real than those via the outward-facing senses because any experience requires more than one, and there is no more than that which is One since it is formless, thus endless. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Therefore, it is only in the context of the belief in more than one that there is someone to experience an abstract world, lightly processed by the brain from the frequencies of nothingness, and a substantial heavily processed by the brain from the same frequencies.

The abstract experiences of the inward-facing senses open up when you do not entirely believe to be someone definitive in the world of the outward-facing senses. Hence there is little left of this belief when you are in the world of the inward-facing senses. Otherwise, there would be nobody to experience the world of the inward-facing senses. In other words, when you appear to be nobody in the world of the inward-facing senses, you have not totally left the belief in being somebody because there must be somebody to register the experiences of nobody. Consequently, the abstractness of nothing you experience in the world of the inward-facing senses is slightly something.

It only takes the brain a split second to twist nothing into an abstract experience in the world of the inward-facing senses. However, since the brain wants you to have a tangible experience in a substantial world, it uses one more second to distort nothing into something experienced as physical via the outward-facing senses.

Alexius Jorgensen have an automatic synchronisation of the inner an outer senses

The empty breath synchronises the outward and inward-facing senses. Hence, we become indifferent to being somebody in the tangible world of the outward-facing senses and thus responsive to being nobody in the abstract world of the inward-facing senses. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

THE EMPTY BREATH SYNCS THE INWARD AND OUTWARD-FACING SENSES
Suppose we once connected with the empty breath and quickly left it. However, it remained with us because it is unaware that we believe to be separated beings in the low-frequency world we experience with the outward-facing senses.

Yet the empty breath senses the stress coming from this belief, so it synchs our discomfort with the high-frequency world of the inward-facing senses. It is not because this world is more peaceful than the world of the outward-facing senses but because it is a high-frequency world. Thus the speedy and restless energy that appears to cause stress in the low-frequency world of the outward-facing senses does not seem stressful.

The empty breath always functions as an automatic gear change between the outward and inward-facing sense. When connected with it, the abstractness in the world of the inward-facing senses becomes the base from which the world of the outward-facing senses is perceived. Thus it does not appear to consist of something but nothing. When not connected with it, the world of the outward-facing senses is prioritised. But when you relax, have sex or your response to something is perceived as ‘it is what it is, the ratio between the world of the outward and inward-facing senses changes per what and where you appear to be.

It is unnecessary to undo the belief in being someone definitive to connect with the empty breath, but it is essential to be willing to undo it. This does not require meditation or anything else in particular.

There are many ways to appear in a world defined by time and space, but there is no way to leave it because you are not in it. Like within the context of such a world, a dreamer is not in their dream and, therefore, does not return to their bed when the dream is over. Likewise, you do not return to the formlessness of oneness when your apparent life in a world defined by time and space is finished because you never left the formlessness of oneness. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

APPENDIX
Since most resist being nobody, they are not willing to undo the belief in being somebody. But if you acknowledge this, you confirm what you appear to be is make-believe. Thus you have a willingness to undo the belief in being somebody.

About willingness see also Willingness not to exclude but include undoes the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one.

This does not mean that you suddenly are gone, reborn or awakened. Like within the context of this belief, Santa Claus does not stop when you grow up. But the belief that he is real stops. However, there is one difference between the undoing of the belief in Santa Claus and you being someone definitive. When the belief in the latter is undone or in the process of being it, you are not disappointed. Instead, you feel free to enjoy being someone defined by time and space.

NOTES:

How to ignite a take-off into ‘the empty breath’ [draft]

Updated April 13, 2022

When not trying to make sense of this image but going with its absurdity, the free-flowing energy of the experience spontaneously ignites a take-off into the empty breath and its bliss of emptiness, provided there is a willingness to forget what you believe in being. The image is grabbed from the web.

As soon as you have had enough of the frustration coming from keeping together a fantastic image of yourself and you do not try to edit or transform your feeling of desperation, the raw energy automatically ignites a take-off into the empty breath. Since it resides in nothing and your current experience of something is processed by the brain from what it imagined seeing in nothing one second ago (read more about that here), the take-off into the empty breath only takes one second.

In other words, when you connect with the empty breath, you go one second back in linear time to the nothingness the brain twisted into your present experience of something. But perceiving that with the empty breath, it is not seen as something, thus not confirming you as someone. Hence you are in the bliss of nothing.

In linear time, it may take a few more seconds, or many years, before there is nothing but the bliss of emptiness because out of reflex, you probably force the physical breath through the tensions in the body instead of going with the flow of the empty breath. It probably feels like the empty breath is an intruder you fight off with the physical breath.

However, this fight is make-believe. The empty breath does not see you as someone made of solid elements but of emptiness like itself. So when you stop fighting nothing, the empty breath passes what you believe is something problematic in the body as nothing. In other words, when going with the empty breath, you do not have to push your way through obstacles in the body or avoid them because the empty breath does not perceive them as something.

Nevertheless, the function of the empty breath is not to heal the body but the sick belief that there is someone in it. So although it may heal the painful areas of the body where they were made, namely nowhere, it is not the priority of the empty breath. This does not mean that the body should not be taken care of while you believe to be someone but that it is a physical matter, which the body can manage itself in many cases. If not, you consult a healthcare professional. See hack #4.3 The toxic mix of physical and non-physical issues.

It may at first feel like the empty breath sets off from an engine in the gut or the chest as it is an inner breath that slowly pumps air from there to extract the body (read more about that here). Hereafter it returns to the engine which seems to take its time before it pumps out air again, unaware of being inside and outside.

What you believe in being is nothing twisted by the brain into someone experiencing something. In the presence of the empty breath, which is nothing not been processed into something, you become indifferent to the experience of something, wherefore there is not something specific to define you as someone definitive. The animation is grabbed from the web.

Despite the empty breath being nothing, it is experienced like something in a world where everything is expected to be felt. You might experience it like having fun surfing yin-yang like waves in the rhythmic flow of the empty breath or being everywhere and nowhere in the sound of it, or joyfully moving with the swing of it, or being still in the abstractness behind its rhythmic flow. Read more about that in What does the empty breath feel like?

Although it may have been unedited speed and chaos that connected you with the empty breath, it is not a speedy or chaotic affair being connected. Instead, it is like you weightlessly walk on clouds. Think of being high up in the sky in an aeroplane. Although speed ignites the take-off and must be maintained to keep you in the air, it is not the speed you feel there but a relaxed experience of flying in clouds.

Regarding speed, whether connected with the empty breath or not, we are always moving extremely fast because the Earth, thus also us, is spinning at 1.000 miles an hour, and the entire planet is hurtling around the sun at 67.000 miles an hour. But having a static perception of ourselves, we do not feel the thrill of this, whereas having a perception in sync with the brain (read more about that here), we feel the speed and can use it to ignite a take-off into the empty breath.

However, the ways described in this article and the other ones in hack #5.1 Uncontrolled speed leads to a state of not-knowing are generally not geared for a self in sync with the brain but one out of sync. Most are drawn in by the excitement they imagine getting from doing things their special way.

Even though the result is frustration and not the relaxation coming from being in sync with the brain, they insist on their way because in a world where being special, bitchy and having something extraordinary is the standard, being independent of the brain seems to be their only chance of becoming important. Thus hack #5.1 Uncontrolled speed leads to a state of not-knowing is mostly about using stress and speedy thoughts for take-off into the empty breath.

Read more about the two kinds of self in hack #4.1 The basic self versus the special one.

Let us imagine, you have covered your eyes with your hand, so you can indulge in daydreaming aboutbeing in a world that revolves around you without being disturbed by the world outside of you. Though it feels great to be in a fantasy where everything turns out the way you want, it also feels strange to be cut off from the actual world.

So when you want to see the world as it is and not as you imagine it could be, and you sense it is your own hand that stops you from doing so, you automatically remove it. In other words, the built-up frustration of not seeing what is real and the realisation that your own hand hides it, makes you remove your hand so you can see the world as it is.

You may not only sense the bare feet that have made the footprints in this photo but also the body they belong to. Yet there is no feet or entity in the image, and nobody makes footprints like those. Hence what you sense is a construction of thoughts. Read more about that here. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

HAVING HAD ENOUGH IGNITES A TAKE-OFF INTO THE EMPTY BREATH
The process in the above box resembles the way a take-off into the empty breath is ignited. The perception of your experiences as something hides they are a fantasy made from nothing. This perception, which is to be compared to the hand in the above box, is made from selected thoughts organised into a spiritual or mundane vocabulary that you share with like-minded ones to confirm each other as real and not a fantasy of the brain. Read more about this here.

When you have had enough of the confusion that comes from this misperception, you loosen the grip on the selected thoughts, making it up. Thus you start to see that being someone is a daydream. When you are fed up with living a fantasy, your frustration ignites a take-off into the empty breath. In its emptiness, you are still in the world of something. However, the experiences of something are perceived as nothing. Therefore, since you are not attributed with a specific meaning, you are in a state of not-knowing.

The empty breath cannot be experienced as something definitive because it resides in the nothingness unprocessed by the brain. Hence you do not notice it if you want to experience something specific.

Thus there is no awareness of the bliss that comes from being nobody. But memories of it pop up when you return to the experience of being somebody. This you must do at the latest 20 minutes, 45 at most, after entering a state of not-knowing if you want to be able to go on in the world of something. Read more about that here. Returning from nothing to something, the slate is wiped clean, so even though it feels like you had a unique experience, you are nothing special. Instead, you are the basic self you always were supposed to be. Thus you feel happy.

The connectedness with the empty breath does not come from meditating, chanting, or any other self-control technique because control enhances the belief in being someone definitive. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Since this happiness does not come from something in particular but from being in sync with the brain (see hack #4.1 The basic self versus the special one), there is no need to always perceive an experience as something specific. Thus, now and then, there does not appear to be something to hide the bliss of nothing. In other words, you automatically go back and forth between a state of not-knowing and the conscious experience of being someone. See To be nobody and yet somebody.

Are you confused about how to connect with the empty breath? If so, do not try to clear up the turmoil but go with its unedited energy to ignite a take-off into the empty breath. In the previous or following articles of hack #5.1 Uncontrolled speed leads to a state of not-knowing, you can read more about that. But be aware that you will never get to know how to connect with the empty breath. It is not something but nothing, and you cannot learn how to connect with nothing. But if you forget what and where you appear to be, you do not need to connect because then there does not appear to be something hiding that you are nothing.

THE PURPOSE OF ALEXIUS’ DUALITY HACKS
There is no reason to diligently learn all the duality hacks for undoing the belief in being someone definitive. None of them is a goal in themselves – nor do they lead to the target. There is no destination because you are already there.

Hence the purpose of applying one or more of Alexius’ Duality Hacks is not to return to that which is One but to expose the belief that seems to hide it, namely that it is possible to be and have more than that which is One.

NOTE: This article is part of hack #5.1 Uncontrolled speed leads to a state of not-knowing.

You know nothing but that there is no more than oneness, when you are to be compared to ‘the Enlightenment of that which is One’

Updated May 21, 2022

thegrandview1

It is effortless to meet the requirement of the Enlightenment of that which is One, as all it requires is that you do not know what and where you are, and this nobody knows. Unless you hide this by being exclusive instead of inclusive because by excluding something, you seem to be defined as someone definitive, who autonomously can decide what and where to be. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

PART 1:
Someone who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One knows there is no more than the formlessness of oneness. Most others assume there must be more.

This does not mean that someone who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One knows about heaven or nirvana, how to unite with atman or god, be full of bliss or transcend the self, for example. But, for someone like that, it seems like a waste of time to obtain such states of mind as to know, unite, transcend or be something requires more than one and therefore remains within the illusion of a world where there seems to be more than one.

In that context, someone who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One prefers googling for how and where to get good food, clothes and other practical things, that make it more comfortable to pretend to be in a world where there seems to be more than one a world, instead of trying to escape it by learning about kundalini, states of bliss and whatnot. Someone who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One knows, that there is nothing to escape because there is no more than that which is One.

Being grounded, wise or anything else are not attributes of someone who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is One, because someone like has no need to be anything specific.

Therefore someone like that does not care for abstract ideas of nirvana, higher states of consciousness and whatnot. And when using words like ego, personality, duality, non-duality and oneness, it is without knowing what they are. Words are just something that has been learned to communicate in a world where there seems to be more than one and not to promote itself as someone special.

Someone who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one takes part in the world where there seems to be more than one in the same way that a televison takes part in it. Whatever is receives it plays out. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Someone who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One takes part in a world where there seems to be more than one in the same way that a television takes part in it. Whatever it receives it plays out. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Someone who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One does not feel alienated, when taking part in a world where there seems to be more than one, because someone like that does not believe to be there, as there is no more than that which is One. Yet someone like that is not taking part in the world in order to be or to have something. Actually, someone like that does not know that there is something to be or have, because all what is known is that there is no more than that which is One. This is not the same, however, as that which is One is known. It cannot be known, as it takes more than one to know something.

Yet someone who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One has no idea about what the world is, as it is in the eye of the beholder, and what is behold cannot be trusted. It is all make-believe.

Neither does someone like that know the formlessness of oneness because it takes more than one to know something. Yet someone like that knows what everybody else in a world where there seems to be more than one also knows, namely that such a world is unreal. But even though it has not been possible to verify the creation of the world, and Quantum Physics says it does not exist unless you look at it, most suppress that what they see is make-believe.

In other words, most things said and done in the world are based on denial, whereas the foundation for what someone who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One seems to say and do is that a world where there seems to be more than one is not real, because there is no more than that which is One.

Consequently, there is not somebody writing this, and therefore no personality with a need to fabricate a consistent article written by someone special. This does not mean that there is no personality because, in a world where there seems to be more than one, it is as necessary as the body. Yet there is nobody identified with the personality, nor the body.

Someone who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One has, like everybody else, its personality. But unlike everybody else, it is not definitive but relative. In other words, the character can, just like the hands of the body, for example, be used in many ways, as there is no attachment to a special expression of it. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The personality, however, still carries out its duty, namely to collect info that seems to prove the experience of a world where there seems to be more than one is real. But as there is no identification with the personality, the apparent differences that it points out in the world are met with indifference. Hence they do not make a difference, and separation makes no sense. In other words, there is no more than that, which is One.

This is not something that has been realised by someone who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One. On the contrary, not knowing and yet knowing that there is no more than that which is One is a natural state of someone like that.

PART 2: Someone who is not to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One can be compared to someone online all the time. The sun’s light is never seen – only the light of the screen. Likewise, you never see the light from that which is One when you believe in a world where there seems to be more than one. All the light you see in such a world is artificial, no matter where it appears to come from because such a world is not real.

Actually, all light that can be seen is an illusion because it takes more than one to see something, and there is no more than the formlessness of that which is One. So therefore, the light from that which is One is not something you see, nor is it something you become, as that also requires more than one.

To not see and neither be the light of that which is One, you must be willing to undo the belief in being someone at all. Forgetting what and where you are or not caring about more accomplishes this.

Inclusiveness results in nothing, because without the exclusion of something, you cannot be defined. Not being definable there is nothing to hide the formlessness of that which is you.

The more you include, the less you appear to be separated but alone together, which is the obvious way back to the formlessness of that which is One, since this is how you imagined to leave it. The graphic is grabbed from Ello.

You are defined as someone definitive by what you do not like in yourself and therefore exclude by projecting it on others. In other words, it is the exclusion of something from what you appear to be in a world where there seems to be more than one that defines you as someone definitive there.

From this follows that if you do not exclude anything but include everything, you are not defined as someone definitive, nor is there no more for you to become or have, so there is nobody to believe that you are someone definitive.

Theoretically speaking, everything can be included right now. Yet you may want to take it slower and do it along the way because the more the belief in being someone definitive is undone, the less you suffer from it, and so you can enjoy the excitement of this belief while having it undone.

You cannot fail when practising inclusiveness. If you forget to include something, you include your forgetfulness. And if you think, it is a sin to forget something, you include being a sinner.

Nothing has to be changed or made better to make inclusiveness work. It is straightforward. You can never do it wrong because if you do, you include that.

You can also have the belief in being someone definitive undone in a similarly smooth way by having glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One (see the article The four aspects of Enlightenment and how to sample them) or connecting with the empty breath (see hack #5.1 Uncontrolled speed leads to a state of not-knowing).

There are many ways to a state of not-knowing and its bliss of emptiness. All Alexius’ Duality Hacks, except for the Enlightenment of that which is One, takes you there. However, there is no way to the Enlightenment of that which is One, as that requires more than one. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The last two approaches require you to open up to the inward-facing senses, but if you prefer to remain in the world of the outward-facing senses while slowly but surely having the belief in being someone definitive undone, you stick to inclusiveness as described above. See hack #3.2 Inclusiveness is freedom.

Another approach that also sets off from the world of the outward-facing senses is to pretend to be in it instead of believing to be there (see hack #1.3 Pretending to be someone definitive is liberation) or to perceive everything as a symbol of that which makes it possible to experience them (see hack #2.1 Everything experienced is a symbol of life or be what you already are as someone definitive, namely alone together (see hack #7 Alone together is the key to that which is One).

If you do not want to take it slow but to have the belief in being someone definitive undone in less than no time, you bid welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One. See HACK #6 The inward-facing senses, Enlightenment and glimpses of it.

Apart from the Enlightenment of that which is One, the above approaches overlap each other. They all lead to what in Alexius’ Duality Hacks is called a state of not-knowing, which after-effect is perfect moments. They are not perfect in the sense that there is nothing wrong, but that is perceived as ‘it is what it is,’ so nothing is specifically right or wrong.

The best of the above approaches to use is the one that suits you the most. If it changes from day to day, that is how to go. Alexius follows the empty breath, which like an automatic gear shift between the above approaches, makes you indifferent to the apparent differences of a world where there seems to be more than one.

All that being said about ways, the formlessness of that which is One is everything because what is formless is endless. Hence a world where there seems to be more than one is an illusion, including any way out of it. So to fully undo the belief in such a world, the way you appear to go must be undone as well.

In a world where there seems to be more than one, it seems there is constantly something to learn about how to function there. In that context, Alexius knows something, for example how to type and publish Alexius’ Duality Hacks on the web.

Yet he does not use his worldly knowledge to enhance the belief in being someone, but as a means to undo it. In the context of spirituality, Alexius knows nothing, because it is that which is One and it takes more than one to know something. This article is written in that context.

Alexius is not full of light, but of nothing, as there is nothing else than that which is one and it takes more than one to be Alexius. Yet in a world where there seems to be more than one he is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is one. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Alexius is not full of light but of nothing, as there is no more than the formlessness of that which is One, and it takes more than one to be Alexius. Yet in a world where there seems to be more than one, he is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

PART 3:
Though Alexius is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One, he does not know what it is. So if you, after having read Alexius’ Duality Hacks, have the impression that he knows something, you may have fooled yourself into thinking what he writes is based on understanding.

Alexius does not believe in being someone definitive.  It is just something he pretends to be, and what he writes while pretending this is not something he has devised. As a vessel, he types what he receives without understanding it.

There is not something to understand regarding the Enlightenment of that which is One, as what is understandable has a beginning and an end, whereas that which is One is formless and therefore endless. That is why the Enlightenment of that which is One does not supply you with a higher understanding but leaves you with nothing.

It is also why there is nothing outside of it, neither you, Alexius or his duality hacks. This is not to say that you, Alexius and his duality hacks are inside of it. What is formless has no sides, so there is no inside. Besides, it takes more than one to be somewhere.

It cannot be known what the enlightenment of that which is One is, because it requires more than one to know something, and all that it reveals is that there is no more than that which is One. Consequently everything you seem to know about it is wrong.

In other words, Alexius’ Duality Hacks does not point to the formlessness of that which is One, as there is nothing outside of it. Furthermore, formlessness takes up no space, so there is nothing to point to.

You may think that what can be seen is real, but it is the other way around, only that which cannot be seen is real, because reality is the formlessness of that which is One and as formlessness has no dimensions it is invisible.

But Alexius’ Duality Hacks point to the experience of you, Alexius, his duality hacks and anything else conceivable as an illusion because it takes more than one to experience something, and there is no more than the formlessness of that which is One.

»The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.« Jesus about enlightenment, Matt 6:22, King James Bible.

Alexius body is not full of light, neither is he the way, as Jesus supposedly claimed that he was. The enlightenment of that which is One is formless, so it cannot fill a body defined by time and space. Also it takes at least two and not one to fill something with something.

For the same reason there is no way leading to the enlightenment of that which is One. No worries. It is not needed, because that which is One is formless, so it never ends and consequently cannot be left. Hence there is no Alexius or anybody else to enlighten.

NOTES:

√ In a world where there seems to be more than one, there is no Enlightenment of that which is One, only glimpses of it

Updated May 27, 2022

Even though in a dream you may sense, that it´s a dream, you can only see the dream. The dream must be terminated to see the dreamer.

Even though you as an appearance in a dream may sense, it is not real, you cannot see what is real. You can only see the dream and not the one dreaming it. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

PART 1:
Gurus and others talking about silence, inner peace, and eternal bliss try to seduce you into believing that they know how to find shelter from the world. But how can they claim there is something to find in a world they describe as an illusion or a dream? Everything found in a dream is equally illusionary, no matter if it seems to be found inside or outside of an appearance there or whether it is perceived as pure or whatnot.

THE DREAMER CANNOT BE SEEN IN A DREAM, YET EVERYTHING SYMBOLISES THE DREAMER
The foundation of Alexius’ Duality Hacks is that a world where there seems to be more than one is to be compared to a dream or a movie – in other words, it is an illusion! This is possible to sense, just like when you – within the illusion of a world where there seems to be more than one – have a dream and for a moment think it is not real.

Regardless the distances and the apparent different persons in a dream, there are no distances and no differences at all. Everything is in the dreamer, so no matter where you appear to be in the dream you are with the dreamer. It is only the belief in its realty, that separates you from each other.

This does not mean that you in such a moment see what is real, but that you sense the unreality of a world where there seems to be more than one. You cannot see what is real because there is nothing real in an illusion, no matter what you seem to think, feel, experience or read – including Alexius’ Duality Hacks. But if can you sense that your appearance is as fleeting as a dream, you may also grasp the dreamer of it being real.

Reality, though, is not something definitive. It is formless and much more energetic than you can ever imagine in the dream of a world defined by time and space. Millions of atomic bombs exploding at one time are nothing compared to the formless energy of that which is One.

It is one perpetual present at an unimaginable speed – so fast that there is no difference to see, and nobody has the time to see anything. That is why nothing is happening in the formlessness of oneness. See A world where there seems to be more than one is to be compared to a movie of that which is One played in slow motion.

Alexius is speaking from vague memories of the Enlightenment of that which is One, where the dream of a world defined by time and space is no more and therefore, neither Alexius to experience something. That is why – apart from the certainty that there is no more than that which is One and therefore not a world where there seems to be more than one – he only has vague memories of it.

There seems to be separate appearances to be defined by time and space in the dream called The World. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

If you believe see separated appearances defined by time and space, you see what you think you are, namely someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one. In other words, your belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is One fence off the formlessness of oneness.  Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

IF YOU EXPERIENCE SOMETHING, YOU ARE HALLUCINATING
The experience of seeing something can only occur in a world where there seems to be more than one. In such a world, one perpetual present appears to be hidden behind the idea of linear time, as it gives the impression, that there is a continuous flow of endless events with each their past and future.

Reality is that which is One. There is neither nothing inside or outside, as that requires more than one.

Selected fragments of this flow some gurus want you to freeze and uphold as if it is a state of peace or stillness, but like everything else in a world where there seem to be more than one, these states are based on excluding something upsetting or disturbing.

In other words, as they are based on the belief in separation, they exclude the only peace and stillness there is, namely the formlessness of oneness, which has no disturbances, as it takes more than one to be disturbed by something. So if you are feeling disturbed or feeling anything at all, you are either unreal or hallucinating.

THE ENLIGHTENMENT OF THAT WHICH IS ONE VERSUS GLIMPSES OF IT
The enlightenment of that which is One is a moment that starts in the dream of a world where there seems to be more than one. Yet, at the exact same moment, the dream is over. As that which is you were not in the dream, it is not awakening to a new awareness. On the contrary, there is no awareness of anything, nor that you seemed to have believed being someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one, as that requires more than one. There is just one bright light – so intense that there is nothing to see and, therefore, nothing to be.

stock-illustration-95146555-enso-circular-brush-stroke-japanese-zen-circle-calligraphy-n-7-

The Enlightenment of that which is One sucks everything out of you, so there is nothing to fall through a black hole into the formlessness of oneness. That is, if you do not determine the first stages of the black hole to look like a zen sign, for example. In that case, you are back in a world defined by time and space. Hence you are better off forgetting Alexius’ desAlexius’description hole if you want to go where nobody can go. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The light is there to suck what has been stripped free of the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one through a black hole into that which is One. That is if there are no leftovers of this belief because if there are, you will think that you see something and therefore return to a world where there seems to be more than one, as only in such a world can something be experienced to be seen by somebody.

In other words, if it is perceived as if there is something definable in the Enlightenment of that which is One, you will again appear to be someone definitive in a world defined by time and space.

Those who have exciting enlightenment experiences to tell about have held onto the belief in being someone definitive and therefore not as nobody been sucked through a black hole into the formlessness of that which is One, so what they have experienced is a glimpse of the Enlightenment of that which is One.

Glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One can be experienced by seeing, hearing, feeling or tasting it. But as it requires more than one to experience something, the glimpses are not the Enlightenment of that which is One.

From from the perspective of a world defined by time and space the Enlightenment of that which is one leads to nothing, because there is not something to see, and therefore nothing to define you as someone definitive. That which is One has no perspective, as it requires more than one to have something.

For someone who is fed up with appearing to be someone definitive, it is frustrating only to have glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One. Still, for those who love to appear as someone special, it is perfect because the glimpses can be used to pump up the specialness by lecturing or writing books about the experience of a vast empty space full of pure consciousness, love, bliss or whatever the glimpses are interpreted to reveal.

But it has nothing to do with the Enlightenment of that which is One because only someone definitive can be full of pure consciousness, love, bliss or anything else.

The rogue consciousness of the self* likes to give the impression that it can help you get more, whether in a so-called spiritual or materialistic way. Yet you never get anything but the need for even more. This need, however, you already had. It was because of that you believed to be someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one, so it appears that although that which is you is no different from the formlessness of that which is One, it is possible to be and have more than that which is One.

PART 2:
Someone who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One, as well as someone who is not, knows nothing. Those not to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One, however, do their best to act as if they know a lot. In contrast, someone who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One has no such need, as the apparent differences in a world where there seems to be more than one are not perceived to make a difference. So there is nothing to know – except that there is no more than the formlessness of that which is One.

So whether you think that you know why it is raining, why you or somebody else do this or that, what you think you know is an illusion, as it takes more than one to know something and the formlessness of that which is One is everything because what is formless is endless.

From this follows, to love or help somebody, just like everything else in a world where there seems to be more than one, is an illusion and therefore not an attribute of that which is One.

Nothing that requires more than one is an attribute of oneness. In other words, love and whatnot only seem to be possible in a world where there seems to be more than one. However, believing to be someone in such a world can be helpful regarding having the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one undone. That is, if this is the purpose of using them. See hack #1.3 Pretending to be someone definitive is liberation or hack #2.1 Everything experienced is a symbol of life or hack #3.2 Inclusiveness is freedom or hack #7 Alone together is the key to that which is One.

In a world of linear time, this appears to take time. In the process, however, Alexius´ Duality Hacks will enable you to enjoy the illusion of that while having the belief that you are someone enjoying something undone. This does not apply to hack #6.1 From the inward-facing senses through a black hole into that which is One, as there is nothing to enjoy in the fastest way possible to have the belief in being someone undone, namely the Enlightenment of that which is One because it takes more than one to enjoy anything. Besides, the Enlightenment of that which is One takes no time, as there is no time in that which is One.

All that being said about ways, the formlessness of that which is One is everything because what is formless is endless. Hence a world where there seems to be more than one is an illusion, including any way out of it. So to fully undo the belief in such a world, the way you appear to go must be undone as well.

A person cannot bid welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One. But a person can momentarily forget what and where it appears to be so that there is not something definable to hide the formlessness of that which is One. If a person just partly forgets what and where it appears to be, the Enlightenment of that which is One cannot be bid welcome. Yet, such a person may have glimpses of it. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

EPILOGUE:
Who is looking for food but those with an empty stomach. And who is looking for enlightenment, but those who feel empty. Unfortunately, most try to fill this emptiness with something of a pleasurable nature like, for example, bliss. But nothing can fill this emptiness because it is a fantasy based on the belief that you are someone specific in a world defined by time and space and that which is you is the formlessness of oneness, so that is not possible.

That is why you are bound to feel empty if believed to be someone specific. Therefore, the solution to feeling empty is not to fill up the emptiness but to undo the belief in being someone definitive.

An enlightened (in the sense of the Enlightenment of that which is One) never ask ‘who am I?’ because there is no doubt there is no more than that which is One and therefore not a world where there seems to be more than one – regardless it appears to be astral and whatnot. Consequently, the enlightened have no need for communities, discussions, so-called interesting exchanges or dialogues, sending love or anything else to make it appear as if there is someone specific there. Someone compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One does not believe but pretends to be someone.

The sun does never go up and down – it is a deception

The sun does not go down, things do not get smaller on the horizon, and the Earth is not flat, even though it looks like that from the perspective of someone in a world where there seems to be more than one. Read more about that here. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

One who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One is as alone as can be. Actually, everybody is, even though they try to cover it with a full calendar, for example. The Enlightened, though, has nothing to hide since there is no ‘I’ with a need to appear as if it is together with somebody definitive or part of something greater.

Yet the Enlightened is superb regarding relating to others because – like anything else in a world where there seems to be more than one – it is perceived as a symbol of oneness. Therefore, since all relations are the same, the Enlightened have no urge to make any relation last, neither is there any fear of its end, which is bound to come. Especially, since the reason for others to be in a relationship is to be part of something special, they expect to be missed, and the enlightened never miss anything.

A JOURNEY WITHOUT DISTANCE
When persons seem to leave the Enlightened, he/she does not perceive it as being left – just like the sun is not gone when it seems to go away at night. It is in the same place, whether it appears to go up or down. It is the Earth that is moving.

The Enlightened knows that if somebody is experienced as going away, it only seems so since the Enlightened itself is moving – or rather imagine to move because the Enlightened is not in a world where there seems to be more than one. What is real cannot be part of an illusion – just like within a world where there seems to be more than one, a person cannot be in the virtual world of a computer game. Yet, it is possible to imagine being there.

To imagine something does not make it real, though, so if others seem to leave the Enlightened because he/she imagine moving in the world, nothing has changed. Just like nobody is leaving you in a dream and you are not going anywhere, as all the time you are in your bed. Likewise, that which is One is still the same and will always be, regardless of what seems to happen in a world where there seems to be more than one. In other words, one who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One is on a journey without distance.

Being on a journey without distance requires the unenlightened to think so he/she can figure out what to do and where to go. The Enlightened, however, does not need to think because nothing is required on that journey, since that which is One is formless and therefore endless, so there is nowhere to go since that requires more than one.

Enlightenment does not give you more because there is no more than that which is one

PART 1:
When you are in the rain, you get wet, so wet is what you are in this very moment as someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one. End of story!

If you hate getting wet, then you are wet and full of hate. And if you worry about the rain and your open windows at home, you are a wet and hateful person concerned about the future at this moment – nothing more and nothing less. Period.

Maybe due to some ideas or conventions of yours, you are not allowed to hate. So to not feel the hate as yours, you exclude it by blaming somebody or something else for causing it. If you are a little bit more advanced, you may try to explain the feeling of hate from a metaphysical point of view, as if it is about transforming negative energy into positive. But this explanation is just another way of disguising that you want to escape the moment as it is.

You may also try to escape feeling the moment as it is by thinking you are detached from feelings – that they are just something you observe – while the truth is that you deny them and therefore never are present with the moment as it is.

Detachment is a natural attribute of someone who is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is One, but it cannot be replicated by the unenlightened

Imitating the tropics by wearing a summer cap and a t-shirt, will not make you warm, if you are living in a cold climate. The warmth does not come from these attributes. Likewise the enlightenment of that which is one is not bid welcome by wearing special clothes, meeting special people at special places, sitting in special postures and whatnot. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Imitating the tropics by wearing a summer cap and a t-shirt will not make you warm if you live in a cold climate. The warmth does not come from these attributes. Likewise, the Enlightenment of that which is One is not bid welcome by wearing exotic clothes, meeting remarkable people at extraordinary places, or sitting in challenging postures. Detachment is a natural attribute of someone who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One. But in this Enlightenment, all being is erased, as it takes more than one to be something, and there is no more than that which is One. In other words, it is the end of the belief that it is possible to be and have more than the formlessness of that which is one, so those who assume they are and have something important do not go there, as that will leave them with nothing.

So they prefer to imitate the attributes of someone compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One has, such as detachment, assuming this will make them able to add the qualities of Enlightenment to their being and expand their consciousness.

The enlightenment of that which is One is one perpetual present, so it cannot be brought into a world of linear time.

But the Enlightenment of that which is One does cannot expand anything because it has nothing, as to have something requires more than one. For the same reason, the Enlightened do not really remember what it is. However, one thing is crystal clear: There is no more than that which is One, so a world where there seems to be more than one is an illusion. This memory, however, is of no interest to those who want to expand their consciousness so that it seems as if they are and/or have more than others.

Physically speaking you cannot be together with the person on this pic in this very moment, but if the pic seems to trigger an attraction in you, and you devote yourself to that, your world may start to crack. Through the cracks you will sense, what you are really attracted to, namely the spirit of that which is one.

Physically speaking, you cannot be together with the woman you probably perceive to be in the image, but if she seems attractive to you, and you devote yourself to that, your world may start to crack. Through the cracks, you will sense what you are really attracted to, namely something less tangible. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

PART 2:
If you think or feel that you are in love with just one person, you are wrong. What you are experiencing is not love but attraction. The nature of love is to love everything, whereas attraction is single-minded. But there is nothing wrong with following the latter, provided you do not try to change it into a love relationship.

Attraction is a gateway to a less tangible world because that is where the feeling of attraction comes from. It is not essential what the form that you feel an attraction towards looks like. What matters is that you really indulge in the attraction and totally devote yourself to the object of your attraction. This might lead to sex, which experiences wise also is part of a less tangible world – especially orgasm – but that is another story.

Because we are not talking about approaching the object of your attraction but simply remaining in the attraction by being sucked into the fascination for the object to enter a lofty state where you do not bother about physicality.*

You and the one you are attracted to might be worlds apart physically and mentally speaking, or the other one may not even notice you, or it is simply not possible to be together due to social conventions. But that is good. Because on no account it is about trying to manifest a relation* with the object of your attraction – if it happens, so be it – but to follow an appeal so intense that the world of the outward-facing senses cracks and the world of the inward-facing senses comes crawling out of them.

The world of the inward-facing senses is in no way the same as the formlessness of oneness. Yet, it is a gateway to it, provided you do not mistake the inward-facing senses for spirituality but perceive it as a less tangible level of a world defined by time and space.

The above about attraction also applies to repulsion or other emotions. Devotion is the key.

No appearance in the world is perfect or will ever become perfect, but if you devote yourself to whatever appearance, that you may feel attracted to, you will become, what you already are, namely the perfection that makes it possible to perceive imperfection.

Devotion makes the world fade away – or rather your belief in it. What remains is that which is real. You do not need a guru or a mantra to be devoted. You just need to follow your natural instinct of losing that which is not you. This automatically happens when you devote yourself to whatever you are deeply attracted to – it might be a mundane thing like a cat, the body of a person, a specific computergame, a sunset or something less mundane like an angel. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

In a way, the kick starter to writing Alexius’ Duality Hacks was an attraction to the body of a young woman, who was changing her clothes in front of Alexius on a sunny trip in the Mediterranean Sea. Instead of being ashamed of his physical attraction to a woman much younger than him, he dived deep into the flow of the attraction. Physically speaking, nothing happened between the woman and him, and he has never seen her again. But later that day, there was a breakthrough to the voice behind Alexius’ Duality Hacks.

This voice is not physical but somewhat transparent. It can be compared to an ascended master, but not one of those ‘rosy’ ones who want you to help make a better world. Gu∂ruång that Alexius has named this energy, does not want to deal with the world. On the contrary, the purpose is to undo the belief in it, including astral ones and whatnot.

Ultimately the world where we appear to be is an illusion, also Gu∂ruång, Alexius and you. There is nothing but the formlessness of that which is One since it is formless, thus endless. But while we appear to be in a world defined by time and space, we all seem to be somebody definitive, so in that context, Gu∂ruång and Alexius are talked about as two different appearances. Still, in reality, they do not exist as two, nor as one, because it takes more than one to exist, and there is no more than that which is One.

Somehow, this image, which Alexius saw on the internet, reminds him of Gu∂ruång, the ‘voice’ behind Alexius’ Duality Hacks. However, Gu∂ruång does not look like something because he resides in nothing. That is why the contact is so subtle that it seems like nothing, and Alexius, therefore, goes ‘alone together’ with Gu∂ruång on the way without time and space to that which is One. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Alexius does not force his will upon his cats, but they often choose to follow it. This does not mean they are channeling him or following a higher voice. But that they sense he wants to take care of them in the best way possible, as if they are a part of him.

Likewise Gu∂ruång wants to take care of Alexius, as if they part of each other, although – just like Alexius and his cats – they are very different in terms of appearances but not in content.

Alexius’ Duality Hacks are not channelled from Gu∂ruång. It is rather that Gu∂ruång is writing them without his personality interfering with it. Ideally speaking, it is like that, but as Gu∂ruång does not know English, the writings depend on Alexius’ knowledge of it. As the formlessness of oneness is wordless, he must search for words he can use for something that cannot be expressed.

When he is short of words and still wants to go on, part of an article might be coloured by his past conditioning – especially the endings, because he has a romantic idea about a happy ending. However, it seems that a happy ending for Gu∂ruång is when there is no awareness of the beginning and end.

More about Alexius’ non-physical buddy, Gu∂ruång:

My cat Wincent was howling like a wolf, while I seemed to pass away.

Alexius’ cat Wincent was howling like a wolf while he seemed to pass away. This he chose to interpret as if Wincent wanted him to stay together with him. If it was out of love or concern for his next meal, he does not know. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

PART 3:
Alexius felt the usual panic the other night when he seemed to be at the edge of dying like so many times before. This time, however, the panic attack was concise. Maybe because he knew from before that the tangible appearance of Alexius always seems to rise again – or because he remembered from several times being in this transitional phase that it is such a relief when the tangible world fades out. But probably most of all because he wants to completely undo the belief in being someone definitive so that there is not something appearing to hide that which he is.

As it takes more than one to interpret something as a problem, the problem is gone when the belief in being and having more than that which is One is undone.

That being said, such a belief also has its moments. When Alexius was willing to undo this belief, and his body was about to pass away, another appearance seemed to want him to remain in the world. His cat, which he sensed somewhere in the distance, was crying aloud as if it was saying ‘come back.’

Alexius cannot know what is happening in a cat, apart from what he projects onto it. As he liked the projection of his cats begging him to come back, he indulged in the experiences the brain slowly started again to produce of him as someone in a body. The next thing he remembers is that he could feel his cat purring while lying close to his body.

Alexius’ cat Wincent have fun with his brother. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Appearing to be back in a tangible world, he accepted his choice and started dealing with its practicality. His cat needed food – maybe that was the main reason it was worried about Alexius – and so did the body of Alexius.

Feeding the bodies has, of course, nothing to do with ultimate reality, but to get there, he starts where he appears to be, namely together with his cat – and being together with someone is to be very close to that which is One.

There is nothing outside of reality, neither inside, because reality is that which is One.

Because he did not leave that which is One on his own. That is not possible. It is not possible to leave it at all, but it seems possible to imagine there is more than one so that you can leave it together with another one. Consequently, you return as you believe in having left it, namely appearing to be together with another one.

It does not matter if it is you and your cat or somebody else or just you and another thought. As long as you leave a world where there seems to be more than in a way where you appear to be more than one, you undo your imagination of such a world the way you originally made it. This hack, namely hack #7 Alone together, is the key to that which is One.

’The Enlightenment of that which is one,’ and the fear of one

Updated May 25, 2022

singingbirdA bird does not sing because it has an answer.
It sings because it has a song.

Chinese Proverb

Why do the oranges fall from the trees on the street outside Alexius’ home every November? The answer is simple. It is the season for that. Likewise, it seems to be the season to write about bidding welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One and the fear of it.

THE ENLIGHTENMENT OF THAT WHICH IS ONE IS NOT IN A WORLD WHERE THERE SEEMS TO BE MORE THAN ONE
The Enlightenment of that which is One does not result in spiritual understanding or connection with a higher being. On the contrary, it results in nothing because it takes more than one to cause something.

Since it also takes more than one to return to that which is One, you cannot do that. But since the same applies to departing oneness, you have never left it. That is why it does not know that you believe to be someone in a world where there seems to be more than one.

Most books or lectures about the Enlightenment of that which is Oneare based on speculations of how to exclude what is judged as dark evil become full of light. But to exclude is to separate, thus an enhancement of the belief in being someone definitive – and nothing definable can enter the Enlightenment of that which is One.

The enlightenment of that which is one can be compared to taking a ride in a fairground carousel so fast, that the mind has to give up seeing any differences at all. Consequently it is not possible to remain as someone definitive and so there is therefore nobody to experience the enlightenment of that which is one. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The Enlightenment of that which is One can be compared to taking a ride in a fairground carousel moving so fast that the brain gives up separating it into different appearances. Consequently, since there is no separation to establish you as someone definitive, there is nobody to experience being brought back to what you never left, namely the formlessness of oneness. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The Enlightenment of that which is One undoes this belief. Metaphorically speaking, it takes you on a ride in a fairground carousel moving so fast that the brain gives up producing different images of it. Thus, eventually, everything is fused into one bright light. However, it is not a light that lightens up anything because that requires more than one. For the same reason, there is no memory of a world where there seems to be more than one.

Alexius’ Duality Hacks are coloured by the personality of Alexius – or rather how you perceive it. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

In other words, the experience of being someone definitive is wiped out by the Enlightenment of that which is One, so there is nobody left to experience bliss or anything else. Therefore, when Alexius talks about the Enlightenment of that which is One, it is not based on the experience of it but on vague memories of something that cannot be experienced.

Reading his memories, you may get the impression that the Enlightenment of that which is One is a sequence of events happening in linear time. But everything ‘happens ‘simultaneously. However, that cannot be described in a world of linear time. And even though it is described as it ‘happened’ many years ago, in non-linear time, it is still ‘happening.’ Hence his description might be a mix of several ‘excursions’ from linear time into one perpetual present.

An early morning, when he was 22 years old, Alexius bid welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One after intensely having worked as a taxi driver for about 15 hours. Somehow the sum of the images from driving around the streets continually looking for customers turned into something less definable and more blurry. Then, as he had no energy left to establish a focused world, Alexius was sucked into a spiralling show of psychedelic light that did not seem to come from anywhere.

All info of someone definitive is extracted by either the light, sound, feeling or taste of the enlightenment of that which is one, so that there is nobody to be sucked through a black hole into the formlessness of that which is one, where there is neither chaos or order, as that would require more than one. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

All info of someone definitive is extracted by either the light, sound, feeling or taste of the enlightenment of that which is One. Thereafter the light sucks nobody  through a black gap in itself into the formlessness of onenes. Most, though, try to avoid loosing their identity by establishing the black gap as something know like a black hole. Thus they remain someone definitive and cannot be sucked through the gap in the light. But they can have glimpses of light on the way back to a world where there seems to be more than one, which many mistakes for being Enlightened. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The enlightenment of that which is One is to be compared to the fusion of all lights, or sounds, or emotions, or tastes – depending on our preference as someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one.

None of these fusions are the formlessness of that which is One. They are merely ways to attract you so you do not resist, when all the thoughts collected to fabricate your personality are extracted by the enlightenment of that which is One, so nothing definable is sucked through a black hole into the formlessness of oneness.

This article is about the first time the belief in being someone definitive momentarily was undone for Alexius. The enlightenment of that which is One was bid welcome in its most known aspect, namely light. Much later the other aspects – sound, emotion and taste – was also bid welcome. Not as a mix though but one by one. It is not possible to mix something in the enlightenment of that which is One, as that requires more than one.

Alexius assumes it is not necessary to bid welcome all the aspects, but that one of them is sufficient in regard to completely forget the imagination of a world where there seems to be more than one.

Suddenly a black gap with no fixed location nor a fixed form, looking like a horse head or an embryo, showed up in the psychedelic light show. And then an utterly colourless light – brighter than the coloured light outside the black spot – started to form as a ring with no defined boundary inside the black area’s edges, which apparently was a hole because colourless light exploded out of it.

This light absorbed everything. It was everywhere and yet nowhere. Without any mention, it knocked out the concept of Alexius and a world where there seems to be more than one, so the nothingness of him gracefully fell into the formlessness of oneness – or maybe it floated into oneness. Alexius cannot recall because the thought construction shaping him was left outside the black hole. Besides, everything happened simultaneously. Nevertheless, there is a sense of forever falling while swimming in a space that was not there – and then, in the exact moment as forever falling, it never happened because there was nothing but that which is one, and it takes more than one for something to happen.

That is all, folks. There is no more to tell. At this point, the Enlightenment of that which is One is over, and there is nothing but the formlessness of oneness. It is not a big void of nothing filled with exotic ideas of unconditional love and whatnot. On the contrary, it is not filled with anything since that requires more than one.

Thus oneness is neither peaceful nor stillness or anything else. Metaphorically speaking, its speed is so fast that it is not possible to differentiate anything. Hence there is not something to see or anyone to realise that. Nor to hear the incredible noise of the speed. Especially because it is so loud that all sounds merge into one, all lights into one light, all emotions into one feeling, and tastes into one taste.

The above is not to be understood as the Enlightenment of that which is One is a mix of light, sound, emotion and taste. They are four aspects of it. But you only bid one of them welcome at a time. It does not matter which one of them. They all have the same purpose. Namely to attract to the extent that you cannot help but let them extract all thoughts, making it appear as if you are someone definitive. And then leave them at the edge of a black hole so that there is nothing definable to be sucked through it into the formlessness of oneness.

The latter about leaving thoughts at the edge of a black hole may be a twisted memory. And it is, of course, a metaphor to say oneness is on the other side of a black hole because it is formless, thus without inside or outside.

Dunno if there is a spiral around the black hole of the enlightenment of that which is one, because being that close nothing seems to differ from each other. Yet for a moment so short, that it is not conceivable, a light inside the edge of the black hole so much brighter that the very bright light around it, suddenly explodes into a formless light that does not include Alexius but the formlessness of that which I am. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Alexius seems to remember a spiral around a black hole in the Enlightenment of that which is One. However, he does not remember it exactly as in this image – either because everything was moving extremely fast or he was so close that nothing seemed to differ from each other. Yet for a moment, so short that it is not conceivable, white light inside the edge of the black hole – so much brighter than the very colourful light around it – exploded into a bright light that erased everything definable. Thus he cannot report what ‘happened’ after being sucked by formless light through a shapeless black hole into that which is One. Nor can he find an image on the web that can illustrate the vague memories of this. Fortunately, you can go there yourself – or rather stop going anywhere. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

THE ENLIGHTENMENT OF THAT WHICH IS ONE IS INEXPLAINABLE
When Alexius bid welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One, he was not aware of it. He did not know about Enlightenment and had never seen a black hole. Fortunately, he did not define anything because otherwise, he would have bounced back to a world where there seems to be more than one. Thus the description of a black hole leading into that which is One is made retrospectively.

Actually, it was not before much later, when he saw pictures of black holes in the universe, that he sensed how familiar they were. But calling a black hole a path into oneness is a metaphor because there is neither an entrance nor an exit to that which is one. In other words, describing the Enlightenment of that which is One is impossible because even though so much goes on, nothing definable happens because it is one perpetual present.

To bid welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One, you do not have to drive a taxi all night or be in ’a deep sleep’ like Buddha supposedly talked about. Whatever way you lose focus or stop defining and labelling will do regarding bidding welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One. However, meditation may not work. It is generally about concentrating and focusing on achieving something specific – and anything definable fend off the Enlightenment of that which is One.

You cannot bring something into that which is one. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

THE FEAR OF THE ENLIGHTENMENT OF THAT WHICH IS ONE
Jesus said that going to heaven – assuming this meant going into the Enlightenment of that which is One – is more difficult than for a camel to go through an eye of a needle. Yet it seems a person momentarily can forget to uphold the belief in being someone definitive so that there is not something definable to go through the eye of a needle into the Enlightenment of that which is One. However, since going somewhere requires someone specific, a bit of the belief in being definitive gets through the needle. And this little piece fears being annihilated by the Enlightenment of that which is One, which seems to be more powerful than thousands of atomic bombs.

To defend itself, the leftover identity of you looks for something to define. So, for example, even though the speed of Enlightenment is so fast that there is no separation, it imagines seeing different shapes of light, so it can get back to a world where there seems to be more than one. In such a world, everything happens so slowly that there is plenty of time to realise there is nothing to fear if you do not believe to be someone definitive because then there is nobody to annihilate.

Maybe that was why Alexius returned from the Enlightenment of that which is One. He wanted to escape what was perceived as a relentless power taking away his freedom and wiping out his identity, which is what happens seen from the point of believing to be someone definitive. So maybe he is both a non-teacher and non-student of Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings to unlearn this belief, so there is no freedom to take away from somebody, nor anybody to wipe out. Thus, nothing to fear in the Enlightenment of that which is One next time he bids it welcome.

How come it seems, that I am wearing a sun-hat?It could be that,it is the season for hats.

How come it looks like Alexius wears a sun hat? It is probably because it always is the season for that, where he appears to be. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Ultimately speaking, there is, of course, nothing to undo and nobody to return to the formlessness of oneness. It has never been left since that requires more than one. So perhaps the reason Alexius appeared to return from the Enlightenment of that which is One to a world where there seems to be more than one is that it was the season for that. When the season comes for the Enlightenment of that which is One to end this fantasy, he does not know. But it is not crucial since oneness is formless, thus endless. Consequently, there is no season to come since it calls for more than one.

It may seem unclear if you have to be nobody to welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One or that it is something it takes care of. Unfortunately, Alexius cannot clarify that. There is no transition to Enlightenment of that which is One, so he does not know precisely when it sets in.

And then again, in a world where there seems to be more than one, there is not just one season, and everything has an end. So maybe the final season comes when all projections have been lifted from Alexius’ body, so he does not attend to its reflexes of fear, thus not stopping the Enlightenment of that which is One.

The crowd in Alexius’ bar Floss turned out to be a community of punks, musicians and models. Although their appearance was quite different from Alexius’s, their content was the same empty space. However, in their case, they tried to fill it with something special, like going to Floss, which was considered the coolest place to meet. The image is grabbed from the web.

PART 1:
In the eyes of the world, Alexius has been very successful. First, he designed two trendy restaurants and two bars that he had for 12 years. Later he was a TV producer, a designer for big and small companies and then a teacher in public relations – all of it without any education or watching TV. Read more about Alexius’ personal story.

Before becoming a businessman, but after working as a kindergarten teacher and a taxi driver, he was a monk for four years. Though his different activities may seem very different, the purpose was always the same, setting his personality aside. So the children in the kindergarten could find their own feet to walk on, and people hiring a taxi could get to their destination peacefully. His restaurants and bars could grow in a way that benefitted the community evolving from them. The energy of a TV broadcasting – just like his design – would highlight the content and not the designer.

So whether he was doing something mundane or living in a monastery, it was always about phasing out his personality and not listening to the ecstatic voice telling him how much he could become and have if following his desires. But he did not need to fill the emptiness in him with something because as someone compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One, he knew something is nothing in disguise.

In other words, Alexius knows time and space are fake. And it seems scientists also know because they say the world consists of 99.9999999 per cent empty space. And it is only the rest – despite it also is empty space and just as a dream consists of nothing substantial – that is perceived to be elements of matter. Therefore, since what you believe in being is nothing that you have learned to perceive as something nothing, you must unlearn everything to undo what you believe to be.

This will not change your appearance into something angelic or heavenly. Neither will it change the look of the world outside of you. But you start sensing something is nothing. This does not mean that what appears to be inside of you is real. On the contrary, there is no inside because that which is you is no different from oneness, which is formless, thus with no inside and outside.

The personality is there to be used for having fun in the world.

Even though Alexius is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One, appearing as someone in a world where there seems to be more than one, he has a personality like everybody – just like he also has a body. But although his aura is crystallised, it is not full of light, and neither is his body or personality because the Enlightenment of that which is One does not know a world where there seems to be more than one. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

PART 2:
One part of Alexius’ personality is very forgiven. Not in the sense that it first condemns and then forgives – but that it simply overlooks appearances. However, the other part does not miss anything, and it is not willing to forgive the appearances that do not meet its expectations. Instead, it insists they should change.

If one leg is shorter than the other, you do not get rid of the ´wrong´ one. Best to keep both of them because that makes it easier to walk. Likewise, it is best to keep both the good and evil part of the personality because when they meet they cancel out each othwer, wherefore it impossible to define you as someone definitive.

Alexius could improve this part of his personality, but he chooses to let the forgiven part of him overlook the grudges from the angry part. At times though, he sees the grudge as warnings, for instance, when standing at the edge of a mountain.

And they served him well when he was in the advertising business. Thanks to the faultfinder part of his personality, he quickly saw what needed to be corrected in a project. It is also that part he uses when proofreading Alexius’ Duality Hacks. In this way, both aspects of his personality can go on doing what they do the best. Nothing needs to be denied, rejected or transformed. Everything is fine as it is.

This has nothing to do with oneness but using the personality to have fun pretending to be in a world where there seems to be more than one. Fortunately, when not trying to correct or change the personality, the belief in it as real is not enhanced but phased out.

can convert the wordless humming he receives from the edge of the universe into Alexius’ Duality Hacks when he remembers he is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One. If you read them to enhance your personality, you may feel put down by Alexius’ Duality Hacks. On the other hand, if you read them to phase out the personality, you feel free when you are left out.

Phasing out the personality

Updated May 16, 2022

When excluding what you do not like to feel by justifying it with others, the appearance of your personality can be controlled so that you appear to be a hipster, for example. Exclusion, though, is not a one-off thing. You must constantly be on the lookout for something to exclude so your status as a hipster is enhanced. On the other hand, inclusion requires nothing but not exclude because the less there is to define a personality, wherefore there is not somebody to care about what it appears to be. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

We exclude everything from our personality believed to be negative by projecting it onto somebody perceived as outside. Therefore, our condemnation of others shapes us into what we believe to be.

This is not to say that judging others must be stopped to phase out the personality. On the contrary, by judging others, you see what you do not like in yourself right in front of you(see the article The YOU finger and the three ME fingers). Thus you know what to include to stop being shaped by the personality.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

To be or not to be is only an issue in a world defined by time and space. In the formlessness of oneness, there is not somebody to be because that requires more than one.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The personality is constructed by projecting everything perceived as wrong in yourself onto somebody else. Hence others, as the bad ones, become a contrasting background for you as the good one. But to uphold this contrast, you must keep blaming others for something bad.

If you do not do that, there is nobody to attest to you as good. Therefore, since the belief in being someone definitive falls apart, you do not appear to hide the formlessness of oneness. In a world of linear time, though, this may be a process over time. No worries. Time is an illusion.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

To be defined as spiritual, you exclude what is not considered pure from your personality by projecting it onto others. However, being established as spiritual, you are bound to be bothered by those judged not to be spiritual. But when not being defined as someone definitive, nothing bothers you because you are nobody.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The more you appear to have, the heavier life seems to be. The same applies to the more you appear not to have. However, having something or not is only a problem when you believe to be someone in a world where there seems to be more than one. But there is no more than that which is One, since it is formless and therefore endless, so it is impossible to be someone at all – except in fantasy. And as there is nothing to have in fantasy unless you believe it is real, the solution to the issues in a world where there seems to be more than one is to undo the belief that it is real.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Everything can be used to enhance the belief in being the personality. Yet, it can also be used to undo this belief. This is easy because it does not require the involvement of the personality.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

In order for you to win, somebody else must lose so the loser can function as a contrast showcasing you as the winner. However, if this contrast is included, the apparent difference between winning and losing makes no difference. Hence there is nothing to define the personality as neither a winner nor a loser, so the belief that it is you is phased out. See, Inclusiveness is completeness – and that is pure joy about including a contrast to enter a state of not knowing. And check Willingness not to exclude but include undoes the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one about willingness. The graphic is grabbed from Ello.

Any experience in a world defined by time and space can enhance the personality you believe in having or phasing out this belief. If you, for example, after reading Alexius’ Duality Hacks, conclude that by avoiding something, in particular, you will be more happy, the duality hacks have not been used to phase out the personality but to enhance it, as it is defined by what you exclude from it.

On the other hand, if you have the same conclusion but use hack#3 Not being exclusive but inclusive to include what you have concluded should be excluded, there is less to define the personality. Hence the belief in it as real is not being enhanced but phased out.

Those who are interested in the discoveries of science probably know that the personality as well as the body, where it seems to be, is nothing but empty space and that it only appears to be substantial because more or less everybody who appears to be in a world defined by time and space collectively agrees to believe this.

In other words, as there is nobody in a world defined by time and space, we can never be at one there except in the denial of that which is real, namely oneness, which we execute by agreeing that we all have a unique personality, that seems to separate us from each other. This includes those considering themselves to be spiritual, as by doing so, they separate themselves from those not regarded as spiritual.

Most so-called spiritual ways are nothing but sophisticated methods of creating a new perception of the personality that seems more spiritual than before. In other words, the belief in you being the personality is enhanced and not phased out by appearing to be more spiritual.

More is the mantra of the personality. For example, having a haircut makes you more beautiful at the expense of those you judge not to have a good look. Being promoted, you appear to be more important and thus shine in the darkness of those you despise. Making more money, you believe to be more clever and powerful than the ones you exploit. Becoming more spiritual, you appear to be more wise at the expense of those you pray for, send healing and whatnot.

And you certainly make sure that everybody judged to be wrong is excluded from your world of the righteous ones. However, when not excluding anything, the personality does not appear to be definable. And as that leaves nothing to sustain the belief that you are someone definitive, there is nobody to hunt for more. Thus everything is good enough as it is.

The belief in being the personality can be enjoyed while having it phased out if being exclusive to keep the personality intact is something you pretend to be because what you pretend to be, you are not.* Thus, you have fun appearing to be the personality, while the belief that there is such a thing is being phased out.

The same applies if every experience – including the experience of you being a specific personality – is perceived to symbolise the formlessness of oneness because that means your apparent different experiences will not be judged to make a difference.** Neither will the state of your personality and so you can have fun appearing to be anybody you like – just like on the internet.

When you always pretend to be exclusive or perceive that exclusiveness is a symbol of oneness, everything appears to be okay, so if you start to feel irritated, you probably fail to remember the application of these duality hacks in the present moment or the past.

Should it be in the present moment you forget to apply Alexius’ Duality Hacks, you can correct it by pretending that you are irritated or by seeing irritation as a symbol of oneness. And if it was in the past, it is never too late to adjust your memories (see the article It is never too late to get a happy childhood), so they reflect that you always pretend to be exclusive or perceive exclusiveness to be a symbol of oneness. Hence the belief in being the personality is not enhanced but phased out.

In hack #2.1 Everything experienced is a symbol of life you can read more about seeing everything in a world where there seems to be more than one as a symbol of that which is One.

If you are not in touch with the past, you do not need to spend time on a trip down memory lane but to pretend there is no past or perceive it as a symbol of oneness. And yes, you are correct in case you feel like cheating. But you are cheating no matter how you perceive a world defined by time and space because it is nothing but empty space. So why not cheat in a way that undoes the belief in being a person there.

That you do not need to visit unresolved issues from the past to free yourself from them, you can read  about in the below articles

Any other Duality Hack can be used to phase out the belief in being the personality* so that there is nobody left to feel anything but bliss – provided that the purpose of using them is not to enhance the belief in being the personality but to phase it out, as bliss is the result of no character. Not in the sense that it must be undone, but that the belief in it momentarily needs to be undone.

If not momentarily but forever undone, there is nobody to know that you ever imagined being someone in empty space because there is no room for what you believed to be in that which is One since it is formless and you are supposed to be substantial. This is not to say that what you believed in being has been transformed. But that the belief has been undone.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

As consciousness always is selective, you can arrange your conscious memories. What you remember is that you always have been pretending to be exclusive or seeing exclusiveness as a symbol of oneness. Hence the belief in being the personality is not being enhanced but phased out.

*) There is one exception from this, namely the enlightenment of that which is One. It does not work in a world defined by time and space, as it totally erases any thought used to construct an experience of such a world, and you like someone there. See HACK #6, The inward-facing senses, enlightenment and glimpses of it.

‘Every moment is the perfect moment’ – also for dying in the rainforest [draft]

This article is about the rescue of Alexius from the rainforest, where he was about to die after two days without food and water. In television, they called him the hero who survived the wilderness. However, this is not about heroic stuff, but that every moment is the perfect moment.

In 2010 Alexius was stuck in a rainforest for two days without food and water. He followed a dried-out river down the mountain towards the sea, but the closer he came to the sea, the more impenetrable the rainforest became. At the end of the first day, Alexius gave up digging his way through the thorny lianas.

He hallucinated during the second day and prepared himself to die of cold and/or dehydration in the coming night. However, everything was so beautiful that it did not seem important to continue as a separate being. Besides, there was nothing unfulfilled in his personal life. Alexius’ mundane longings had all been met. But at the end of the second day, he was rescued by a helicopter.

THE FORMLESSNESS OF LIFE
Before the helicopter arrived, it was like the person inside the body of Alexius had died per its script. It was replaced by an impersonal version of him having only one goal: giving back everything it received to where it came from. The brain heavily backed this replacement because it thinks a self is not meant to be definitive but relative. Read more about that in hack #4.1 The basic self versus the special one.

However, since giving everything back to its source is beyond the brain, Alexius did not know how to do that. The brain suggested he should do something great for all mankind? But he sensed it was not about greatness. Actually, it was not about doing but perceiving. Since life is formless, a world defined by time and space is lifeless and thus a fantasy. But there is no illusion without reality, so every part of the fantasy symbolises the formlessness of life.

1005P5217810-Edit-Edit-Edit

When experiences are not perceived as personal but symbolise life’s formlessness, they do not establish us as separated beings. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Therefore, when a world defined by time and space is perceived as a symbol of life, it goes back to the formlessness of life. Hence our experiences do not seem to have any effect, nor do they establish us as somebody definitive. See also hack #2.1 Everything experienced is a symbol of life.

THE WORLD IS A CONSTRUCTION OF FRAGMENTED THOUGHTS
You can compare the formlessness of life to having just one thought. It is pure peace. But if that thought is divided into two, peace is over because they need to differ to appear divided. Therefore, one thought as a separate entity, called a Person, looks at the other as a World outside it. And to uphold the illusion that there is more than one, the division goes on. The thought called the World is divided into black and white thoughts. And the thought that watches a World in black and white outside it is also divided into two, namely a Judge and an Executioner.

Thus we have a Person who chooses between experiences divided into black and white. And then a Judge divides thoughts into right and wrong so the black experiences can be punished for being wrong. When the Executioner has carried out the punishment, the Person feels good because now it is off the hook. Someone else is guilty of the mess that separation seems to entail. Read more about projections here. However, since this arrangement sets other divisions in motion, the relief is short-lived. So, again and again, the interaction of Person, WorldJudge and Executioner is used to make someone else look bad and yourself good.

Although this happens as an inner dialogue inside a Person, it is often projected onto something seen as outside of it. For example, what feels wrong inside the World of a Person is projected onto something perceived as the evil in the World outside of a Person, such as immigrants, the deep state or communists. The Judge may be projected on a god, parent, boss, or lover. And perhaps society is seen as the Executioner.

Nevertheless, this system never makes a Person feel good enough because it is the reason for feeling bad. Read more about that here. But let us return to Alexius in the rainforest to see how he dealt with it emotionally:

If I fear how the helicopter guys judge my tripin the rainforest, it´s actually my ownjudgment of the trip, that I fear.

If Alexius fear how the helicopter guys judge his trip in the rainforest, it is actually his own judgment of the journey he fears. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH
Alexius had to make his way through lots of thorny lianas in the dried out river he followed down the mountain to get out of the rainforest. The thorny lianas came in bundles. Sometimes it took half an hour to pass a distance of them that, if not for the bushes of lianas tightly woven together, could have walked in two minutes.

His feet were hurting because two nails had been ripped when he fell down the mountain several times due to branches being so dry that they broke when he tried to hold onto them. Moreover, due to the thorns in the bushes, his clothes were torn apart. Alexius’ hands were full of blood. And each time he came out on the other side of a bundle of thorny bushes, Alexius was so exhausted that he decided the immense beauty he saw was wrong.

Hence the Judge inside Alexius ruled that the experience of a World far away from the known one should be eliminated and the ones to blame for it should be punished. But, although the Executioner worked hard on doing that, the bad experience did not go away, and the guilty ones could not be found. This enhanced Alexius’ feeling of being wrongful treated. But when he was about to explode, he suddenly had enough of feeling entrapped by conditioned judgments and solutions.

So he stopped deciding between right and wrong. Hence there was no punishment to be ruled out by the Judge and, consequently, nothing for the Executioner to set right. But, of course, that did not mean the bad World disappeared. But instead of trying to get rid of it, Alexius included it. Thus what he had perceived as bad did not seem to hide, everything was fine as it was. Nothing was wrong or missing. The moment was the perfect moment.

In the middle of nowhere, Alexius had no need to go anywhere. The moment was perfect as it was.

This was not an intellectual but an emotional change for Alexius. When he stopped trying to get rid of his frustrations of feeling stuck, he burst out in laughter because there was nothing he needed to escape. Thus the journey in the rainforest seemed to mirror running from the moment as it is until, suddenly, out of nowhere, Alexius did not look for anything to fix.

It looks like there is a unique bird is sitting on the tree. But it is a hallucination. The ‘bird’ is not a separate entity but part of the tree, which is part of the rainforest, which is … Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

LIFE SEES NO DIFFERENCES
The foursome of Person, World, Judge and Executioner consider themselves essential in making a world defined by time and space appear real. Yet, they cannot do that without breathing. But it does not seem to care about them because no matter what and where the foursome makes us appear to be, the breath steadily goes on.

In other words, just like electricity does not see what a bulb illuminates in a room due to the power of electricity, the force behind the breath, namely life’s formlessness, does not know what it empowers. Also, like nobody illuminated by electricity can see it, a Person empowered by life’s formlessness cannot realise it because it is not contained in what it empowers. That is why, like a movie or a book consists of nothing but symbols, the foursome and everything they seem to manifest is a symbol of life.

In the case of Alexius, he is aware of this because, having vague memories of falling through a black hole into the formlessness of oneness, he knows there is nothing but the formlessness of oneness (see hack #6.1 From the inward-facing senses through a black hole into that which is One). However, that is beyond the subject of this article. So we round up by exploring the perfect moment Alexius discovered in the rainforest:

What a perfect moment hanging in the air.

Every moment is the perfect moment. Nothing is wrong or missing. This was crystal clear to Alexius, hanging in the air when he was wired up from the rainforest by a helicopter. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

A PERFECT MOMENT IS ALL-INCLUSIVE
Life’s formlessness includes everything because formlessness is endless, so there is nothing but that. Since a perfect moment is inclusive, it confirms the formlessness of life, whereas living in the now denies it, as it excludes thoughts of the perceived future and past.

A perfect moment can last the whole hour you bravely make your way through bushes of thorny lianas, or the second you feel the horror of going through thorny bushes replaced with the relief of getting out, or the minutes you see a helicopter circling around to find you. Or a whole day where you forget everything about the perfect moment and hate the rainforest.

Any thought or feeling passing by is part of the totality that makes a perfect moment. It is not flawless like a music video, though. There are ups and downs, but they are comparable to the thrill of riding up and down on a roller coaster.

The idea of a perfect moment or giving symbols of life back to life´s formlessness only works within a world defined by time and space. Therefore, like anything else in such a world, they must be given up at some point. ´To give up´ must also go, as it is only in such a world there is something to give up.

In other words, the articles in Alexius’ Duality Hacks are written within the illusion of a world defined by time and space. Otherwise, there would be nothing to write about!

APPENDIX
In 1972 Alexius bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is One. However, after telling someone about it, he realised he could not share it. Hence he refrained from that until meeting his astral friend Gu∂ruång on a trip to Crete in 2004. But it was not until after Alexius was rescued from the rainforest that Gu∂ruång told him to tell his story about the enlightenment of that which is One to the World.

It took a year before Alexius began writing and two more years before he started publishing it. He had no idea that it would turn into a bunch of duality hacks. Actually, he had never used the word duality before he started writing Alexius’ Duality Hacks.

Alexius was blown out by his realisation in the rainforest that every moment is the perfect moment. But maybe this was more his personal thing. After all, not many can go on a similar trip into the rainforest. Besides, it is pretty dangerous. So you are probably better off going with the duality flow, which is very much like a perfect moment. See hack #4.4 The duality flow goes to non-duality.

You could also take it a step further into a state of not-knowing as we do in the next hack, hack #3.2 Inclusiveness is freedom, and later in hack #5.1 Uncontrolled speed leads to a state of not-knowing.

There is more about Alexius’ non-physical buddy Gu∂ruång in:

CANCELLEX How to find peace

Updated January 11, 2022

Experiences are deceptive. The two orange dots in this image are for example most likely experienced not to have the same size although there actually is no difference. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Experiences are deceptive. The two orange dots in this image are most likely experienced to have different sizes. Yet, there is no difference in size if you measure them. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

»When the outer has become as the inner, and the lower as the upper, then will this world find peace.« Jesus, according to the Gospel of Thomas.

When the apparent difference between outer and inner, lower and upper, makes no difference, dimensions cease to appear. For something to be defined by time and space, it needs to be different from something else. If there is no difference experienced, there is no separation to hide there is no more than the formlessness of oneness since formlessness is endless.

In other words, what is dimensional does not exist. It only seems so as long as you insist on perceiving differences as if they make a difference. This illusion is the starting point of believing to be in a world defined by time and space. It is fabricated by imagining it is possible to observe the formlessness of oneness from different angles, making it appear as if different dimensional scenarios are occurring in linear time.

To make long short: By observing you repress that reality is the formlessness of oneness and not a world defined by time and space.

But you cannot choose to be anything else than the formlessness of oneness, as formlessness is endless, so there is no more than that which is One. You can, however, imagine being someone in a world defined by time and space, where everything appears to be in different sizes that you can choose from.

It can be fun pretending to be where you are not, but believing you are there feels like imprisonment you want to escape. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Unfortunately, all experiences are deceptive. Think, for example, about the Earth that is experienced to be flat even though it is round. Nothing in the world is what it seems to be. Actually, it is nothing but empty space. That is why happiness cannot be found ´there´ no matter how big your home is, your breast or penis is, or how small your ego appears to be.

But if you do not believe to be someone definitive in a world defined by time and space, you can have fun pretending to be ´there´. Just like – within the context of such a world – it can be fun pretending to be someone in the virtual world of a video game.

Yet believing to be in a world defined by time and space, you will be frustrated by what it delivers because nothing lasts no matter its size or apparent greatness, regardless it seems to be spiritual or mundane. So there will always be fear of loss, and as you still have vague memories of the formlessness of peace, it is a reminder that you have lost it. But this you cannot see until the feeling of loss is exposed instead of fenced off by the anger used to accuse something in a world defined by time and space for having caused it so that the formlessness of peace remains hidden,

In other words, although peace is always present since it is formless and therefore endless, it appears to be hidden when you hide your apparent loss of it behind anger. In contrast, the exposure of the essential sadness entailed by the loss of peace makes it possible to feel why you are sad, namely because you believe to be someone definitive. Hence you are not far from wanting to have this belief undone so that it does not hide there is no more than the formlessness of that which is One … and that is peace.

Suppose the unpleasant feeling of anger, just like any other feeling, is perceived as a symbol of that which makes it possible to experience a world where there seems to be more than one, instead of being a denial of that which is One. In that case, it becomes a positive confirmation of it. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

One effortless way to take the edge off anger is to perceive it for what it is, namely a symbol of reality because it would not be possible to experience an illusion without that which is real. In other words, everything in a world defined by time and space is a symbol of the formlessness of that which is One – including anger, love, god, angels, soul and whatnot – and perceived like that, the sting is taken out of anger.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

If you are looking for new experiences, no matter how high or pure they may seem to be, you have turned yourself into a victim of the future.

If you are looking for new experiences, no matter how high or pure they may seem to be, you have become a victim of the future. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

What you want is what you do not have, so if you presume that peace is what you want, the first step is to realise that you are fooling yourself. You cannot want peace because, contrary to the excitement, it is that which is you.

But you can want not to hide peace with dreams of excitement.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The foundation of a world where there seems to be more than one is separation. First, that which is One seems to become two and then more and more – and this is what such a world is about. Yet to be or have more does not lead to more peace, but more separation and therefore a feeling of more loss, enhancing the hope for more.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Nothing is exciting about peace. Nevertheless, it is that which is life – not the kind of life though that appears to have an end. It has no beginning or end and thus no size. And as excitement always is evoked by something definable that is expected to give you lasting happiness when it is achieved in the future, there is no excitement in peace.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

As peace is that which is One, and as that which is you is no different from that which is One, it is found when nobody is looking for it.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

What is said in this article about excitement also applies to hope. Peace leaves you nothing to hope for.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

When not rushing around to get excited about this and that, boredom will reveal the peace of oneness.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

If not looking for excitement, you do not need to look for ways to relax.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Excitement is based on the idea that there must be more than that which is One. But no matter how excited or high you get, it is not enough. Any excitement or state of mind will enhance your motive of looking for excitement, namely to be or have more, so any achievement motivates you to look for more.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

To be connected is an imagination based on the belief in separation, as you imagine a connection to something separated from you.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Most persons, who consider themselves spiritual, agree that the world is in the eye of the beholder. If so, it seems those persons are fucked up because they always complain about the world and say it is missing something or something should be changed so there can be peace.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Peace needs nothing because it is formless, thus endless, so it is everything. And so is that which is you, since there is no more than peace.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Peace has no privacy because it is without knowledge, consciousness and anything else that requires more than one.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

When you believe to be someone definitive, you expect to be in a constant state of excitement. However, to feel excited, you must also be willing to feel bored because if excitement is not contrasted, you will not know when you feel it.

But as you always are on a quest for more excitement to hide, believing to be someone definitive is very dull, you do not have time to be bored. Hence no matter how much you look for something to give you a kick, you find nothing.

And yet you do. That is, if you recognise, you find nothing, as this cannot be sensed without sensing the contrast of it, namely everything.

And having everything, there is no more to look for. Neither is there someone definitive to do so, since everything is that which is One, as it is formless and therefore endless, so there is no more than the formlessness of oneness. And that is nothing but peace.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The excitement of, for example, a sunset will not enhance the belief in being someone definitive but undo it if excitement is perceived to symbolise the formlessness of that which is you. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Hack #2.2 Peace of non-duality versus the excitement of duality is not meant to stop you from being excited, not even from desiring it. Nothing in Alexius´ Enlightened Non-Teachings is about controlling or avoiding anything to get better because nothing in it is about getting better, but about undoing the belief that you are someone definitive.

This happens if you look at the excitement and everything else as symbols of that, which makes it possible to experience something like that, namely that which is One because when everything is a symbol of the same, their apparent difference makes no difference.

Hence the basis for the belief in separation is gone, and without it, you cannot be someone definitive. So by applying this hack, you can feel excited without enhancing the belief in being someone definitive. Hence the suffering it entails.

In other words, you can have fun appearing as someone definitive while at the same time undoing the belief that you are someone at all so that it becomes exciting undoing the belief that there is anything to be excited about.

NOTE: This article is part of hack #2.3 Peace of non-duality versus the excitement of duality.
