Control is the fear of not being good enough

The wish to change ourselves often started in childhood. We quickly learned that when we changed our appearance per the expectations of our parents, they would consider us more lovable. Thus we started controlling our formation to manipulate others into giving us more attention, hence feeling more loved. Read more about that here.

CONTROL IS THE FEAR OF NOT BEING GOOD ENOUGH:
Maybe your parents forced you to quit diapers before you had completed your toilet training. So to look like you were ready for this change, thus getting your parent’s approval as the perfect child, you controlled your urination by tightening the muscles in the loin. But your focus on manipulating the body messed up the connection with the natural flow of the biological system, so the communication between the body and the brain was disrupted.

Therefore, since your body was left on its own, it tried to fix the blockage in the loin by balancing it with a new issue in the shoulder, neck or jaw. Maybe all of them, or at least the jaw, because reinforced in a forward position, you can easily maintain the appearance you imagine will make others like you, thus escaping feeling wrong.

But maybe the body chose to counteract the blockage in the loin with one in the feet so that many years after, they feel weird. Or it might have balanced the problem with stiffness in the hands, showing up later as something you assume is caused by a smartphone or a computer.

And though you can diminish the problems in the body via massage and acupuncture, for example, the relaxation will not last because the hardened loin needs the new issues to stay so they can balance it out. The latest problems need the loin to remain rigid to balance them out. That is how the body deals with its issues when the natural flow of the biological system seems suspended. Therefore, if you had not tried to hide feeling wrong by getting your parent’s acceptance, you would not have used your body to please them. Thus your attempt to manipulate the body would not seem to have disrupted the biological system, wherefore you would see a sound body instead an unworthy one.

In other words, as long as you try to change your appearance, you will never know the relaxation the biological system’s natural flow brings.

Everything is always going your way. If it does not seem so, you are not going your way. That does not mean you are going the wrong way. It is not possible. But it is possible to perceive the way that is out of sync with your nature. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

THE BRAIN’S SCRIPT IS FIXED, SO YOU CAN NOT ALTER THE BODY:
Since the brain’s script is as fixed as the earth’s motion around the sun, the physical tensions in the loin mentioned above would have occurred whether or not you tried to adjust to your parents’ expectations to get their love. However, if you had not tried to hide a psychological problem by blending it with the body, the tension in the loin would not have seemed psychosomatic but physical, thus not a mystery. Fortunately, it is never too late to correct your misperception of the past.

The above explanation of cause and effect is not entirely correct. Nothing adds up in a world where there seems to be more than one because there is no more than that which is one since it is formless, thus endless. That is what the explanations in Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings are meant to illustrate. And that is why they only work when used to expose that a world where there seems to be more than one is fantasy.

This explanation is also fictional, and so is the idea that somebody is making and getting it – just like nobody, in particular, is making a dream or having it because there is nothing in it. Therefore, Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings is not a new philosophy with the answers to the world’s problems or why and how we appear as separated beings in a world where there seems to be more than one. There is no answer to that or anything else because there is no more than that which is one, and it takes more than one to explain something.

So ultimately speaking, it does not matter if you are in sync with the brain’s script, thus feeling connected, or you perceive the hand, so you appear more exceptional than scripted, thus not in sync and therefore feeling disconnected.

Nevertheless, in the context of a world where there seems to be more than one, everything seems much more manageable when one’s perception is in sync with the brain’s script. It requires hardly any thought, whereas much effort is needed to make a perception where you appear more important than the basic self the brain has created.

You must seek out specific thoughts to create a particular image of yourself. However, by doing so, they start to scamper around and fight each other, which feels stressful – especially since it affects your interpretation of yourself and the world. Hence the special self concludes that it is best to get rid of some or all thoughts or at least slow them down via meditation or something else that supports the idea of being in control.

But this enhances the problem. The special self perceives itself as the master and the brain as its servant. And it is the other way around. So if the special self honours the brain for producing the experiences of being someone by perceiving them as they are and not as they should be according to the special self, happiness comes all by itself. Actually, so much that the few thoughts required for having a perception in sync with the brain are unnoticed. But it is noticed you do not feel wrong when in sync with the brain.

Healing the psychological part of a psychosomatic combo takes no time. All psychological feelings are fleeting, so they pass on when looked at where they are conceived. You deal with the physical part by stepping back so the body can heal without being forced to do it per your wellness expectations. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

THE BODY FIGHTS EVERYTHING UNFAMILIAR
When the body is uninterrupted, it feels safe, and you feel good. However, the body may see allergens as dangerous, but since they are unfamiliar, it does not know how to fight them. Hence the immune system goes nuts. And for sure, the body does not know about non-physical matters like spirituality and psychology, so if you inflict it with mental ideas of wellness, it freaks out. Also, if you pump it up to look better. In short, whenever you try to use the body as a means to manifest your ideas of happiness, it fights the intrusion.

Therefore, since trying to manifest your psychological needs through the body results in a stressed body, it is obvious to stop believing you can blend the psychological sphere with physical reality. Having a satisfied body is not about how you use it but why. For example, when your reason for having a massage is physical, your body feels revitalised. But if the reason is psychological, your body feels burdened.

How to undo the belief in a body-mind connection so thoughts are not seen in the body but the mental sphere, you can read about In hack #4.3 The fake mix of physical and non-physical issues. Thus returning to a happy relationship with the body, similar to the relationship you have with the clothes you wear, not assuming they wrinkle because of something you feel or think but because that is the way they are.

However, there is a shortcut you can use immediately to undo your mental invasion of the body, namely, apologise for misusing it to manifest your mental ideas of wholeness.

4.2 Happiness cannot be found. It comes effortlessly when in sync with duality

Updated January 12, 2023

What you believe to be can be compared to a smartphone. Although it can do thousands of things, it depends entirely on its operator – just like you do on the brain. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

TO ENJOY ALL THOUGHTS:
Even though the brain deceives you by making experiences that seem to establish you as someone substantial in a tangible world, it is not your enemy. On the contrary, the brain wants to make you happy. If that is not how you feel, you have most likely disassociated yourself from the brain’s experiences by not perceiving them as they are but how they could be per a philosophy you think will make a better world than the brain’s.

But since everything in this perception revolves around you knowing better than the brain, and since you do not know who you are, it is hard work to make it look like you, not the brain, knows the best. Thus you meditate or force your body into strange positions to cut off the brain, assuming that will free you from its perceived tyranny and connect you with your real self.

But there is no real self. It is a fantasy of the brain. It makes a basic self in which it installs a consciousness to perceive the experiences fabricated by the brain as if the self lives in a body surrounded by a tangible world. Therefore, since the brain is what and where you experience being,it is the best.

Although the basic self feels free to follow the brain and the special self believes it is free from it, none is free. Since the brain processes all experiences, also those believed to come from the heart, higher consciousness and whatnot, we are a product of the brain. The special self denies it and opposes the brain. But what you fight, you need. On the other hand, the basic self does not hide its brain dependency but happily counts on it.

You are in the brain’s domain when experiencing something because it produces all experiences. Therefore, since the brain loves you, the thoughts it makes do not trouble but soothe you when in sync with the brain.Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

TO FOLLOW THE BRAIN’S SCRIPT:
Whether you like the brain’s script, you are bound to follow it by the letter. But you can perceive it as you like. However, if you want to feel connected, your perception must relate to the script as it is and not as you reckon it should be. The latter makes you feel disconnected because you are out of sync with the brain’s script.

Despite being in sync or not, the brain gets what it wants, namely that although its experiences are made from nothing, you believe they are something, wherefore the brain seems to exist. Hence it rewards you with shots of happiness to make you feel alive. Unfortunately, most people do not notice the happiness from the brain because they want everything to be in their way and time.

But since that never works, they have to make it look like it does by excluding everything from their awareness that does not support the idea of being in control. And since exclusion enhances separation, they feel lost. No worries. This mistake is easily undone. If you acknowledge feeling lost, you can perceive it as ‘it is what it is.’ That reveals your feeling is twofold. Therefore, since lost is coupled with found, feeling seen is all there is until lost quickly return to be replaced by feeling found shortly afterwards. Being in this teamwork of opposites, you stop feeling them specifically and start sensing their interaction: the duality flow.

Therefore, you feel happy since you are in sync with the brain’s script of twofoldness. Read more about the perception it is what it is’ in I know what it is’ vs ‘it is what it is’ vs ‘dunno what it is and the duality flow in hack #4.4 The duality flow goes to non-duality.

Watching TV series, you do not have to do anything to be engaged in the action other than perceiving it by its plot. By doing that you are so entertained that you forget yourself. However, daily life is just as astonishing, when you the brain’s script and perceive it as ‘it is what it is’ and not as it should be.

The brain’s script is neither logical, rational, nor consistent. But when your perception remains in sync with it, you eventually feel as blow-out as after binge-watching a TV show, thus feeling free. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

TO BE BLOWN OUT BY THE BRAIN:
Being in sync with the natural flow of thoughts from the brain can be compared to being in sync with the plot of a movie. It is easy because the film is full of hints about how to perceive it.

The director has added emotional music to manipulate you into correctly interpreting the movie. And since black in the Western world is associated with evil, the director expects you to interpret scenes with black cars as the bad guys are on the way. But suppose you doubt this meaning and try to construct a better one based on concepts unrelated to the film. In that case, you break up the story, wherefore you do not feel entertained but bored by the movie.

In other words, nothing feels entertaining if you think you know better than the director and keep imagining how the movie could have been if edited per socialism or another ism you believe in making the world better. In that case, you only feel entertained by the specific parts of the movie perceived as aligned with your ism.

On the other hand, when you do not question the movie’s storyline but jump into the adventure as it is, you feel linked with the whole film – likewise, accepting the brain’s story of duality, you feel connected.

In roleplay, you can become anyone you like. However, everyone is predefined by the gamemaster, so you must act according to that. Likewise, in the game of duality. You are never your own but the brain’s, because it is the gamemaster.

No matter what way you go and why you reckon to do it, the reason is that the brain has told you to do it. Therefore, having a perception in sync with the brain’s playbook, obstacles along the way add to the entertainment. But having made a perception where you are in charge, thus out of sync with the brain, the same obstacles add to the stress of having to know the way. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

TO HAVE A BREAK FROM THE BRAIN:
Should you want to take a break from the brain’s script of duality, all you need is to not be in sync with it. But not like the special self who revolts against it, thus depends upon it.

To be free of the script of duality, you ignore it by not making a statement like the special self who says ‘I know what it is,’ nor like the basic self who declares ‘it is what it is,’ but gently says ‘dunno what it is.’ Therefore, since the brain’s script of duality is unconfirmed, you enter a state of not-knowing, where the slate is wiped clean. Thus you return to the consciousness of duality as the basic self, feeling happy to be with your best friend, the brain. Read more about that in A state of not-knowing and the after-effect.

Notes on meditation, the basic and special self

Updated February 3, 2023

Everything in a world of duality comes in pairs of opposing elements defining each other. For example, small is characterised by tall and vice versa. So if you hate big things and abandon them, you exclude small ones as well. Therefore, they become blurry concepts since neither small nor big can be defined. Likewise, if you perceive yourself as free from hatred, the love you believe to experience is fake. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The purpose of the brain’s experiences is to entertain the self it has created. However, they do not amaze but frustrate you if you perceive them per a conceptualised way of living, such as capitalism, socialism, spiritualism, or another ism made to make you feel more special than in the brain’s setup of the world.

That is because when your perception is founded on a belief system, it is restricted by it, so you do not get the freedom it promised. Primarily because the thoughts you have compiled into perception aligned with your preferred belief system do not like being manipulated. Hence, they move faster and faster to escape your domination.

No worries, if you do not try to stop this restless energy, it automatically ignites a take-off into the empty breath, where the slate is wiped clean. Read more about that in hack #5.2 The empty breath and the bliss of nothing. Therefore, since your perception is automatically synced with the brain’s experiences, you feel entertained by all of them.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

To distance itself from the brain, the special self composes a perception in which the basic self has been transformed into someone special independent of the brain. However, this twisted perception calls for more thoughts than those few the brain has available to make a perception aligned with the basic self. Thus, the special self meditates to generate more thoughts.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Those who perceive themselves as unique beings with the power to do things in their way and pace need many thoughts to uphold their crooked perception. However, the movement of so many thoughts soon becomes so hectic that they try to slow them down via meditation.

That is the official reason. But as anybody who has meditated knows, thoughts multiply when they try to control them. So that is the real reason for meditating because many thoughts are needed to uphold a unique spiritual appearance.

 ∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The special self feels dominated by the natural flow of thoughts coming from the brain. But it is dominated by nothing other than its perception of the flow of thoughts. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The basic self does not feel disturbed by the flow of thoughts from the brain. On the contrary, it loves its gentleness because it makes it easy to serve the brain in a laid-back way. However, the special self does not want to serve but to master the brain. Thus it feels disturbed by its thoughts, although, if not interfering, there are so few.

The frantic flow of thoughts, the special self experiences, has been generated by itself. It has multiplied the few simple thoughts the brain uses to maintain the basic self, so it has a large complex group of thoughts from which it can compose a perception of itself as an independent being. Then, when it needs a break from the multitudes of thoughts, it looks for something numbing like alcohol, drugs or a mantra.

But if it manages to escape the thoughts, it feels horrified because, without all of them, it cannot make special perception establishing as independent of the brain. Hence it is a servant of the brain. Should it acknowledge that, it feels embraced by the gentle flow of thoughts from the brain.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Most like to believe they feel upset because of the thoughts coming from the brain. However, the distress comes from the attempt to edit thoughts. When a single thought is sought out from the stream of thoughts, it generates a new stream, and if a specific thought is singled out from that, yet another stream is made, and so on – just like if you split a neutron from an atom nucleus, it sends out more neutrons all by itself, that split and sends out more neutrons. It is a chain reaction.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The special self likes to believe that visualising something will make it happen because that seems to confirm it is in control. But if that were true, everybody would win the lottery.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The special self needs alcohol, drugs or meditation to escape the fear of repercussions that projecting its flaws onto others entails. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

To think you are in control is like believing you control the TV with the remote. Somebody else has made what you see, and you can only change your perception of it. That is also how the basic self has been transformed into a special self, namely by perceiving the basic self so that it seems to be an independent being in charge of its life.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Having established itself as someone in charge, the special self needs to meditate or something else that seems to make it able to control thoughts to fool itself into believing that thoughts are not produced by the brain but by itself.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

When the brain has scripted you to feel sexual lust, you will feel horny no matter what you believe in being. However, you will not enjoy it if you try to suppress your sex drive through meditation or tantra sex. Read more about sex here.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

If you perceive yourself as detached from the brain’s experiences, you fool yourself because you need them to prove this.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

When you try to solve absent-mindedness through mindfulness meditation or grounding exercises, you make it worse because you do not know who you are. Only your maker knows that. And since it is the brain, the solution, in the context of believing to be someone, is to be aligned with the brain’s stream of thoughts instead of using meditation to distance yourself from it.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Mindfulness is for those who cannot help exploiting others – like in ancient times, monks introduced meditation to the barbarians seeking shelter in Ashrams to teach them to control themselves, thus refraining from abusing others.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

You try to restrict your only friend, namely the brain, by dividing its duality pairs into separate distinctive elements, for example, good and evil, so you can suppress evil by meditating or projecting it onto others to appear only good, thus beyond the brain’s script of twofoldness. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The basic self has no need to relax or transform itself through meditation, yoga, fitness and whatnot. On the contrary, its perception is in sync with the flow of thoughts, like a stream of happiness coming from the brain. Therefore, since the happiness sometimes makes the basic self forget what and where it is, it knows it is nothing, thus not something to transform.

In contrast, the special self never forgets being somebody. It is always on a mission to become more and be part of something greater. However,  that never turns out as expected, so it settles for following someone that seems to improve its social status.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The special self always looks for something to fix. But it rejects the solution that would repair everything immediately, namely not perceiving the brain as an enemy but as a friend (read more about that here). By doing that, everybody becomes a friend because the brain produces the experience of others.

Ultimately, the solution is to undo the belief in being someone who experiences something. As this is the end of its existence, the special self avoids it by meditating or something else that seems to confirm it exists.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Those who believe in free will are easily manipulated into following a guru. But you are bound to follow the brain’s commands – like a car is in the hands of the driver, you are in the hands of the brain.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

There is no moment without the past and the future. For example, as in this photo, you must deal with both to keep the balance on a wheel. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen

If you perceive the brain’s basic rendering of the world as dull, the special self sets in by offering you more exotic ways of experiencing it, for example, by coming from the heart (read more about that here) or living in the now.

But since all experiences – no matter where you believe they come from or how they seem to be experienced – are constructions of thoughts fabricated by the brain (read more about that here), these different exciting experiences are nothing but a reconstruction of the thoughts made by the brain.

However, this reconstruction does not work because it is founded on eliminating the thoughts that do not fit the concepts of coming from the heart or living in the now. Therefore, since the experience is not whole, you feel incomplete. In contrast, the brain’s unedited experience, which includes all thoughts popping up, makes you feel complete.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The heart is a muscle from where blood transports oxygen to the cells of the body. If you also have an experience of something spiritual coming from it, you are deceiving yourself. Science discovered over 200 years ago that all experiences are fabricated by the brain.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Like the night excludes the day and vice versa, spirituality excludes consciousness and vice versa.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

When you respond to a computer game, It feels like you are in it. But since your response is based on your interpretation of computer-generated events, what it seems to make you feel is made by you. The same applies to what you feel in the world where you believe to read this. It is founded on your interpretation of the experiences produced by the brain. Consequently, it is you who chooses what to feel.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

When you download a song, you get fragments of it from all over the world that must be organised on your computer into one song in order to be able to hear it. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

When you download a pirated song via a torrent file, you get fragments of the song from computers worldwide, so your computer needs to compile the pieces into one file before you can hear it. This also applies to what you believe in thinking. Thoughts are downloaded from the brain, which stores them chaotically. Read more about that here. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The file used to download pirated music, called a torrent file, does not contain the actual music. Instead, it grabs a significant number of small files with different fragments of the music you want to download. One file may contain the beginning of the music, another one the end, and others the bits and pieces in between.

The files, chaotically collected from different computers worldwide, do not sound like music before they are combined by an app on your computer, translating it into what you expected to hear when you started downloading all of the components via the torrent file.

The above description of what happens when you download pirated music is more or less a description of what happens when you believe in thinking something specific. The thoughts you believe are yours have been downloaded from the brain.

It is as if there are concepts like mother, child, love, food, and home to pick from. So when you get the urge for ice cream, you dive into the brain’s concept of that. But the brain knows its concepts are fake because there is no more than that which is One. Thus it has stored them unsystematically as bits and pieces of nothing to make them appear as something when downloaded to your awareness that, like an app, combines them into ice cream, for example. So like, downloaded pirated music is not your music, thoughts are not yours, but ‘pirated’ ones from the brain pieced together from nothing, so they appear to prove the collective agreement that you are someone definitive in a world of something.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Mysterious experiences or writings like zen poems have nothing to do with oneness. It is not mystical, pure or anything else because it takes more than one to be something, and reality is that which is One. Hence Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings, like everything else that calls for more than one, is part of the illusion that it is possible to be and have more than that which is One.

But since Alexius’ Duality Hacks expose this illusion, you are also revealed as nothing when you apply them. Hence there does not seem to be something to hide, there never was or will be more than that which is One since it is formless, thus endless.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

If you meditate to exclude specific or all thoughts, you establish them as real – otherwise, there is no reason to get rid of them. But everything you are aware of is unreal because it takes more than one to be conscious of something, and there is no more than that which is one. Fortunately, you eventually forget what and where you appear to be when applying one or more of Alexius’ Duality Hacks. Thus, there is nobody to be conscious of anything.

NOTES:

The basic self is relative to the brain, thus without an egoistic intention

Updated December 19, 2022

You do not enter the stress of being someone definitive when you perceive your response to an experience as ‘it is what it is.* Instead, you remain without a centre and focus. Thus you automatically play the role set up by the brain for the present moment. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Most try to see a specific self behind their different approaches to the world. Yet, there is no other self than the basic one created by the brain. It is without a centre and ever-changing with the fleeting experiences developed by the brain. That is why you are bound to feel unfulfilled when you try to define yourself. On the other hand, you always feel fulfilled when specified by the present experience produced by the brain, which, contrary to the previous experience, may define you as strong. Being non-definitive, thus flexible, any experience generated by the brain amuses you, regardless of what and where you appear.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Believing to be someone in a world where there seems to be more than one, you are a product of the brain with no definitive self but one relative to the fleeting experiences produced by the brain. And since the brain automatically helps you perceive your response to these experiences as ‘it is what it is,’* you are satisfied by all of them.

But none of the experiences entails satisfaction if you limit them by your understanding. In that case, you get frustrated because nothing works out according to your assumptions but the brain’s script. Although you can choose between going right or left, for example, the brain decides your decision’s subsequent events – like a flight to New York continues as planned, regardless of your whereabouts on the plane.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

If you need to relax, you try to be someone specific, for example, spiritual. Because to achieve that, you must exclude the thoughts that do not fit into your idea of spirituality. And since that does not result in peace but fear of the repressed, you look for something relaxing. However, not trying to edit the ever-changing flow of thoughts but perceiving it as ‘it is what it is,’* you are not someone definitive but relative to the present experience produced by the brain. Therefore, hating what you dislike feels as pleasant as loving what you like, so there is no need to relax.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

If one’s perception is in sync with the flow of thoughts from the brain, one is relative to the brain, entertained by its ever-changing experiences. But if one edits the flow of thoughts to appear definitive, one is not free because everything has to fit into a box.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The special self always tries to escape something but does not know what. Neither will it ever know because there is nothing to escape. It is an illusion that only seems real because it always looks for something to exclude so that it can appear unique. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The basic self is not a definitive entity. Instead, it is relative to the brain, thus without egoistic drive. The special self is also relative to the brain. But it denies being connected with the brain and is always looking for something to manifest itself as definitive. Hence it has a big egoistic drive.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Being in tune with the present experience created by the brain, the basic self does not perceive itself as definitive but relative to the present. But since the special self believes it handles everything in its way, it perceives itself as superior, even though it does not know who it is.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Within a world where there seems to be more than one, the basic self is everyone and no one. And since the basic self is relative, there is no self to doubt. On the other hand, the special self always doubts itself because it insists on being someone definitive.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The special self avoids seeing itself as the brain has made it because it wants to live its way. Therefore, since it does not sense the love from its creator, it looks for it in the world. Unfortunately, it does not live up to its expectations. Hence the special self is always disappointed. In contrast, the basic self never feels let down by the world because its happiness does not come from there but from the brain that constantly injects it with joy.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

If the special self perceives somebody as stupid, it is most likely meant as a condemnation. But when the basic self makes the same perception, it is not to blame somebody but to fend off a relationship that the brain instructs you to avoid. In other words, the basic self respects the signals from the brain. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The special self is an expert in flattery, which it uses to manipulate others into feeling appreciated. It wants them to become so dependent on the compliments that they are willing to submit to the special self to get more.

However, this does not work on the basic self. It does not need to be approved as special because it does not perceive itself as definitive but relative to how the brain renders the present moment.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Facebook’s algorithms calculate what kind of personality we have based on what we like and, indirectly, what we do not like.

Per the specific personality Facebook has constructed, you receive updates and ads that establish your particular character. Therefore, since you become more fixated on your views, the reality seems that you and like-minded ones are good and others bad. However, Facebook does the same for those you perceive as wrong, so, just like you, they believe in doing the right thing.

Therefore, since everybody is in the same boat, they would benefit from not having a specific but relative personality so that the boat can be managed in the best interest of everybody.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

If you read Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings to enhance your belief in being unique, you probably feel put down by them. But if you read them to undo this belief, you become relative, thus free to be what the moment calls for.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The special self is about survival, whereas the basic self is about serving.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The crowd in Alexius’ bar, Floss, was a mix of punks, musicians and models. Although their appearance differed from Alexius’s, their content was the same nothingness. However, in their case, they tried to fill it with something special, like going to Floss, which was considered the most fabulous place to meet. The image is grabbed from the web.

In the eyes of the world, Alexius has been very successful. First, he designed several trendy restaurants and bars that he operated for 12 years. Later he was a TV producer, a designer for big and small companies and a teacher in public relations – all of it without any education. Read more about Alexius’ personal story.

Before that, he worked as a kindergarten teacher and taxi driver and was a monk for four years. Although he seems to have been doing many different things, his purpose was always the same, setting the specific personality aside. Thus, having a relative character, he could help the children in the kindergarten on their terms and make sure the people who hired a taxi had a peaceful ride. His restaurants and bars could grow in a way that benefitted the community evolving from them. And the energy of a TV broadcasting – just like his design – would highlight the content and not him as the designer.

So whether he was doing something mundane or living in a monastery for four years, it was always about ignoring the ecstatic voice telling him how important he could be if promoting himself as special. But it was easy to ignore. He does not want to fill the emptiness in him with something but remain as nothing because he knows time and space are fake. So, therefore, since what you appear to be is nothing, you must unlearn everything you have learned to perceive nothing as something.

Doing that will not change your appearance into something angelic or heavenly. Neither will it change the look of the world. But you start sensing that something is nothing, whether it seems to be inside or outside. Thus, eventually, something does not seem to hide the formlessness of oneness.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Since the basic self is relative to the experiences created by the brain, it is not definitive. Hence the inexact flow of thoughts coming from the brain seems natural, whereas the special self tries to make it distinct to establish itself as definitive. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Your most defining experiences of being someone are stored in the brain. And as they constitute what you believe in being (read more about that here), you cannot have this belief undone without honouring the brain.

So although the experiences fabricated and stored in the brain are made from nothing, you should not dismiss them as something because they ratify the choice to establish you as someone in a world defined by time and space. If you do not acknowledge your choice, you cannot undo it.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

As stated above and in the below quote, the brain is relative to the present experiences created by the brain. »The brain is constantly reconfiguring every second of your life. Even by the time you get to the end of this paragraph, you’ll be a slightly different person than you were at the beginning.« David Eagleman, an American neuroscientist in The working of the brain, resembles drug dealers in Albuquerque. Thus the more you read Alexius’ Duality Hacks, the more you apply them.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

You do not try to be someone definitive in a dream but naturally go with the flow. If you, in retrospect, do not arrange your memories of a dream so it seems coherent and meaningful, you are ready to be relative instead of definitive.

Feeling entertained by duality while hacking it

Updated December 29, 2022

Nobody, in particular, is making a dream you experience to have. And neither you nor anybody else is in it. Likewise, appearing to be someone substantial in a tangible world is a fantasy by nobody. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The special self is an altered version of the basic self, thought up by its rebellious consciousness to escape the perceived tyranny of the brain. However, since the self is a construction of thoughts, it is impossible to depart the brain. Yet, it is possible to make a perception where those thoughts establishing you as a servant of the brain are excluded, so you seem to be the master of the brain, deciding what it thinks. But being unconnected feels incomplete, whereas the basic self feels complete because it is connected with the brain.

You cannot hack something you deny. Consequently, you must acknowledge duality to hack it.

HAVE FUN GOING WITH THE DUALITY:
Whether experiences are perceived as material or spiritual, they come from the brain. It fabricates them to make the biological system react to them as if the self it has thought up is inside a body affected by a material or immaterial world outside it.

The brain counts on the self to accept this interrelation as real because otherwise, it is evident that being someone is a fantasy made by the brain. It is like you momentarily accept the setup of a computer game, thus being in sync with its world and having fun appearing to be there. See hack #4.2 The brain’s script and how to perceive it to feel happy.

Regardless of syncing with the brain’s fantasy world of duality, everybody has an internal dialogue caused by their response to it. In the case of the basic self, an inner conversation created by the brain makes it feels good.  However, it also makes you feel bad because everything comes in pairs of opposites in a world of duality. You cannot feel good without feeling bad, and vice versa. When that is accepted, you are revitalised by the duality flow, the constant interaction of opposites. Read more about that in hack #4.4 The duality flow goes to non-duality.

The special self also feels good from communicating with somebody internally, but it disassociates itself from feeling bad by justifying the feeling with the other. Thus the special self is not revitalised by the duality flow but fatigued by singleness, always feeling disappointed. But the inner dialogue of both the basic and the special self accomplishes what the brain wants, namely that there appears to be more than one, wherefore, non-duality is an illusion.

But it is the other way around. Non-duality is formless, thus endless, so there is no more than the formlessness of oneness. Therefore, everything you read is fake, including explaining that the brain makes you appear as someone in a world of duality. No one causes duality because that requires more than one. Hence appearing as someone in a world of duality is make-believe. But like believing you got presents from Santa Clauss seemed amusing until you grew up and realised he was a fantasy, you will see duality is nothing when you apply one or more of Alexius’ Duality Hacks.

Whether living naked in the forest is a dream or you are doing it is the same to the brain. It does not differentiate between what you believe is real or imaginative because all its experiences are nothing twisted into something in a way it assumes is entertaining. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

FELLING ENTERTAINED OR FRUSTRATED BY DUALITY:
The brain does not differentiate between the experiences it makes when you believe in being awake, asleep, watching a movie or meditating. Nor does it separate what you perceive experienced by you or others or divide experiences into real or imaginary, authentic or fake, physical or spiritual. Instead, all its experiences are processed in one higgledy-piggledy by the same organ in the brain.

Although the brain does not care about the difference between the writer and the reader of this article, it establishes them as a pair of opposing elements. Thus, like in all the other duality pairs making up the world of duality, they do not fight but define each other to have a genuine experience of respectively being a writer and reader. However, that does not mean the brain sees its world of duality as real. On the contrary, it is fully aware that it has been rendered from nothing to look like something. And so what? When nothing is divided into opposing parts of something, its duality fantasy feels entertaining.

Unfortunately, most divide the duality pairs of opposing elements, so they do not support but fight each other. Having done that, they assume you must get rid of hate to feel love. However, without hatred to define love, you do not get genuine love but a conceptualised version of it. Thus you feel frustrated. But if you go with the duality pairs’ ongoing interaction, when you feel hatred, it defines love that defines hate, and so it goes. Thus you feel complete.

If the special self says it needs time to process this image, it wants not to be disturbed while it twist it into something based on the past, so nothing seems to upset its conditioned view of the world. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

TO EDIT YOUR EXPERIENCES OR NOT:
Appearing as special is not something that comes naturally. It requires constant manipulation to construct an appearance of you as being special in the politically correct way. Fortunately, that is unnecessary when not caring about appearance, thus being a basic self with no need to be, do, and have anything specific but the happiness which comes from perceiving the brain’s script as it is and not as it could be.

The basic self does not ask what is around the next corner, whereas such uncertainty scares the special self. It needs to know what comes next. Thus it digs into the past to find events perceived as similar to the present. Based on its comparison, it draws up a prediction of the future. If it does not work out as anticipated, the special self twists its perception of the outcome, or the past, maybe both, until it appears to run the show.

Hence the special self seems to be in control due to its immense knowledge – or will be when it has explained away what contradicts its expertise. However, the more it eliminates to appear in power, the more it dissociates itself from the brain’s script. Physically speaking, that does not cause the special self to be out of sync with the script because the brain remains in charge regardless of how you perceive it. But mentally speaking, the special self is entirely out of sync with the brain’s script. That is because it excludes all the experiences from its awareness that do not fit into the way it explains the world to make its perception of it seem absolute.

Since the special self is an imaginary self constructed by subtracting what it does not like in itself, it always feels incomplete, thus always looking for something it can add to feel complete.

When the special self sees the woman in this image, it probably makes a perception that hides what it actually feels, so the experience is perceived to be consistent with the image it has constructed of itself. On the other hand, the basic self has nothing to live up to, thus, nothing to hide. So it relates to the image as it is: a woman without clothes in the middle of a forest. If that is felt disgusting or stimulating does not matter because ‘it is what it is.’ Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

EQUALLY ENTERTAINED BY GOOD AND EVIL:
You cannot change the instruction when you are told to go to jail in a game. Likewise, in the brain’s game of duality, you get unchangeable instructions from the brain.

The notion of yourself as special is based on how you perceive to affect others and how you imagine they react to that. Thus you constantly adjust your perception of their responses, so it seems to confirm they see you as unique. See also The closer you look, the less you see.

If the basic self is asked to go to jail, it does so without asking why because it knows the brain’s script is all about entertainment. The special self must also follow the brain’s command, but since it thinks the brain’s ways are stupid, it tries to find a better way. Although nothing changes, and the special self remains the basic self as intended by the brain, it believes it has been transformed. It upholds this idea by eliminating everything from its perception of the basic self that it judges wrong, so it seems to have become more unique and free. To uphold its independency when it cannot deny it t follows instructions, the special self claims it has been framed and will make the guilty pay for the unjust. Thus the special self deceives itself to be the one in control.

If you forget all about being anything, thus not believing to know what you are, the Enlightenment of that which is One is bid welcome (hack #6.1 The Enlightenment of that which is One). But since it takes more than one to be somebody, nobody is enlightened. Yet somebody who sometimes steps aside, so there is nothing but the Enlightenment of that which is One, is to be compared to an Enlightened.

Alexius is such a person. Consequently, his Duality Hacks are founded on that which is One, thus having nothing to give since that requires more than one.

Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings are not accompanied by soft music with sounds from whales, pictures of rosy lotus flowers, promises of a better world, fantasies of unconditional love, higher states of consciousness or other conceptual attributes of duality. Actually, Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings have nothing to give. That is why they undo the belief in being and having more than One.

APPENDIX:
The special self needs to question everything, but the basic self never asks who it is or where to go. Like in a board game, it simply moves by the dice, whether that takes it to a place defined as a prison or a free spot. Every experience is equally entertaining because its reaction to them is perceived as ‘it is what it is.’

The throw of the dice also determines where the special self goes. However, it hides that it obeys the brain’s commands by making a story that, in retrospect, establishes itself as the master.

Read about the perception ‘it is what it is’ and ‘I know what it is’ in hack #4.2 The brain’s script and how to perceive it to feel happy.

Being special and depressed, or basic and happy

Updated December 24, 2022

The special self wants to make selected ones feel unique, so they depend on it to be appreciated.

The special self is always looking for errors in its personality to correct, thus appearing in control. But the basic self does not consider itself in charge of anything. Instead, it sees itself as a servant of everything because it adjusts to the flow of thoughts coming from the brain, which is not about personal preferences but what is in the best interest of the whole.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Assuming you are in control, you are under enormous pressure, always looking for thoughts to compose stories where you, not the brain, are in charge.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Being the special self is not about what you do but the thoughts concerning it. Especially thoughts in the category of master and servant – like when you think you are the master of the remote control, your coffee machine, children or pets. Or if you have a boss that puts you down, you still seem to be on top by thinking that you could do it much better.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The special self always finds something about others that it judges wrong. Hence they become the imperfect background for its perfection.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

When the special self perceives to fail, it takes on being secondary. Thus the failure does not seem to have been caused by itself but by somebody else.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The basic self’s perception is synced with the stream of thoughts coming from the brain. Therefore, since it feels connected, it does not need to be or achieve something special to feel good. But the special self is out of sync with the flow. Therefore, since it feels disconnected, it looks for special moments in the past to replicate in the present to feel special.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

You cannot avoid events you see as sad, but you can refrain from perceiving them like that. That naturally occurs for the basic self. Thus it has no need for special events to make it happy.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

When a ball is coming your way, it´s a natural reflex to respond and following such reflexes is pure fun.

When a ball comes towards you, it is an automatic reflex to respond to it. Automatically following such reflexes is natural and invokes how easy it is to be the basic self. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Sometimes a doctor checks the function of a body by knocking on special points to see if the involuntary movements work. However, everything considered voluntary is also an automatic movement governed by the brain. Therefore, if you believe in being in charge of yourself, you have suppressed your reaction to everything that does not fit this belief. Therefore, since that requires much effort and it is effortless serving the brain, being a servant makes you feel free and happy.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

If the special self discovers that others have interpreted something it did as wrong, it avoids feeling guilty by shouting, »Look what you made me do.«

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The experiences the brain produces to make you feel like someone can, in many ways, be compared to the news that Facebook generates for you. Based on the info Facebook has gathered about you, it collects what its artificial intelligence predicts you wish to see, regardless it is fake or not. However, unlike Facebook, the brain has all your info, so the experiences you get from it are based on you. Thus what you experience is what you are. That cannot be altered – only your perception of it.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

A world defined by time and space is a construction of thoughts compiled by the brain. But since it cannot manifest its fabrication, it has made a self that feels the experiences it produces, so it seems to confirm a world defined by time and space is real, which in return seems to prove the self is a substantial being in a tangible world. In other words, what and where you believe in being is the brain’s fantasy. But since there is nothing real to confirm the brain’s existence, nothing is making the fantasy of you as someone in a world defined by time and space – just like nobody is making a dream and nobody is in it.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The special self manipulates others into admiring it to escape its self-hatred. When not succeeding, the special self considers letting go of something to reestablishes it as the one in control.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The special self needs to convince at least one person about how crucial it is, which it achieves by smothering someone with the kind of attention it senses, that is required to make that person feel chosen. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The special self needs to be part of something important, not to feel alone. So it checks all notifications on Facebook and makes sure to like what its friends write so that it will like it and be liked by them, and they are confirmed to be together in a group of extraordinary people. Of course, it only works if you believe there is something in cyberspace.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

You cannot escape the hell of the self-discipline required to uphold the perception of being special if you are afraid of losing something, which you are, as long as you believe to be and have something special.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

If you justify your unpleasant emotions with something judged as flawed in the world, your bothersome feelings are buried in a mental drama of fairness. For example, when you feel angry, it is obscured by the sad story you keep telling to establish you are unfairly treated by the world. Hence feeling angry has been removed from your awareness and replaced by a mental concept of being mistreated. This spin also hides that you fear the world will get back at you for blaming it for your negative emotions.

But this is too shameful to admit. So to save face when you feel attacked by the world, you repeat the story of being unfairly treated to prove you are innocent. However, to uphold your innocence, you must continuously suppress feeling selfish, greed, anger and envy. You do this by pointing out those attributes in others so they feel ashamed. You are very good at that, and your friends know it. Nevertheless, they do not expose you because they also look for someone to attack, so they feel off the hook. That is why they recognise it in you.

To hide that you and like-minded ones hate everybody, you meet in special groups where you hug and share in a collectively agreed way of being together. Yet, it is not feelings of love that connect them, but the wish to hide they hate each other. Naturally, nobody wants to acknowledge this, least of all do they want to talk about it in the group because if you do not censor yourself to speak and act within the language established as love by the group, or its mentor, you are expelled. And then you have nowhere to go to find relief from your despair.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

To prevent the image of the special self from cracking, it is crucial not to feel one’s emotions. Therefore, since the special self suppresses them, it becomes so numb that it cannot feel anything. So instead, it invents stories about feelings that fit its self-perception. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Should you have conditioned yourself to feel relaxed when you hear a specific kind of music, you find yourself in a story where you know you are supposed to feel relaxed every time you hear this music. In other words, what you believe in feeling is a product of your story. And as most of what you believe in feeling rests on stories, you are hardly ever in touch with your emotions but with how you have conditioned yourself to respond to something. That suits the special self very well. It does not want to experience genuine feelings but how it is supposed to feel them when being what it imagines.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The special self likes to meet new people. However, not to get to know them but to answer their questions. That is a perfect opportunity to re-edit the story it has fabricated about itself to appear exciting.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

In the past, the special self made a hateful story for perceiving the present, so it seems to confirm its past judgment of others as evil. And since the past, therefore, appears to repeat itself, the special self can rest assured in its perception of itself as good and others as bad.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The English language suits the special self because it is built upon the ‘I’ as primary and others as secondary. So you do not talk with others but to them. And when you speak about friends and yourself, you always start by mentioning yourself.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

It takes time and effort to invent a spiritual self from which selected experiences are eliminated or changed to appear absent of power strivings, selfishness, greed, anger, negative thoughts or whatever you assume to be politically incorrect. It feels restricting, whereas you feel free when not altering or rejecting something in your perception to shape your image into something specific.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Nobody is unjustly treated in the brain’s script. It is all about being entertained by duality, which you are when perceiving your reaction to your experiences as it is what it isbecause that reveals your response is twofold. And since you are in a world of duality, that makes you feel complete

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The special self likes to hide that it is lonely by having others depend upon it. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

What and where you appear to be in a computer game is designed by the game’s creator. You do not have the power to change that. But you can perceive it in sync with the plot or not. The latter is frustrating, and the former entertaining. The same applies to the tangible world, where you appear to be someone substantial. What and where you seem to be is made up of the brain. It cannot be changed – only your interpretation of it.

If that is in sync with the brain’s script, you feel entertained by the idea of being someone substantial in a tangible world, which is like going up and down on a rollercoaster. You scream of fear when going down and shout of joy when going up. One leads to the other. It is like two sides of a coin because everything comes in pairs in the brain’s script of duality.

However, the special self does not accept the interaction of opposites. On the contrary, its fundamental instinct is to keep them separated to divide the world into good and bad. In contrast, the basic self does not separate opposites, so it feels vitalised by their interaction, whereas the special self feels weakened by their separation.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The collaboration of the opposing sides in the duality pairs making up the world of duality is vitalising. But since the special self excludes the apparently dark side of the duality pairs in its perception of itself, duality does not seem stimulating but depressing. However, the special self fears that if it includes the darkness it has excluded, it will be devoured by it. Thus it prefers to keep spitting the duality pairs in distinct elements to keep the darkness away by looking positive.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Since feelings tend to mess up the perception that the special self has made of itself as an independent and unique being, it wants to keep them at a distance. But as this collides with its need to show off as an open person, it lays the blame for fencing off its feelings on others, which it criticises for being closed, thus making it impossible for the special self to express its feelings.

Although the real reason for not expressing its feelings is that the special self does not know them, it shows off as an expert on emotions who is able to help others open up to themselves. However, what the special self claims to see are its own suppressed feelings (read more about that here).

On the other hand, the basic self has no special image to protect, thus, no feelings to hide.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Undoing the belief in being someone special is like stepping into the unknown. And since life cannot be known, you find it there. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The special self needs constant approval from others to feel alive. To get that, it often establishes a family, which it can manipulate into giving it the confirmation it needs. If that does not work as intended, the special self may pay a psychologist to ratify its uniqueness. But it does not realise how dependent it is on those supporting its perception of being independent.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The special self enjoys talking about feelings speculatively, »like do I really love this person?« But it does not love anybody because to uphold its perception of being in control, it avoids feelings of intimacy by being with people looking for a higher state of mind.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Every experience is make-believe – just like in a role-play. However, following the instructions of the game master is part of the fun. Likewise, believing to be someone in a world defined by time and space is quite entertaining when you do not try to add or subtract something from the instructions you get from the brain.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

You can compare the basic self to a cat. It does not plan to do Pilates at a specific hour but, naturally, stretches out when its biological system tells it to do it. Nor does it attend special seminars to learn who it is or how to be transformed into something else. There is no desire to be anything but a cat.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

If somebody triggers an old feeling of rejection in the special self, it first interprets it as an attack. Next, it justifies feeling rejected by the attack. Therefore, since feeling rejected seems to originate in the attacker, the special self concludes it does not come from itself. If the perceived attacker exposes this self-deception, the special self points out something from the past to make the attacker feel rejected. Hence the special self is off the hook and can rest assured that it is loved and the attacker is not.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Fear does not prevent you from going on when in sync with the unedited flow of thoughts. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The happiness that comes from being in sync with the brain can be compared to the joy you feel when singing along with a song you like. Not being in sync can be compared to feeling disturbed by the same music because you want to concentrate on something you perceive as better.

That said, it may seem frightening to be in sync with the brain’s script, but since you do not feel alone, fear does not prevent you from going on.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

You do not appear in a physical world to learn something. Everything you encounter is made from empty space. The only purpose of your experiences, including those interpreted as spiritual, is to feel entertained by nothing disguised as something. Read more about that here.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

It is the counterpart of a feeling that defines it. For example, hate defines love. Consequently, you must sense your hatred to feel love. But since the special self excludes the unpleasant part of a duality pair, it has no hatred to define feeling in love. Therefore, since it does not know what love is, it reckons it feels love when it meets somebody whose psyche or body complies with its ideas of perfection.

Fortunately, this mistake is easily corrected by perceiving the assumed feeling of love as ‘it is what it is.’ That reveals love is coupled with hate and constantly interacting to define each other. Going with this twofoldness, you have a genuine feeling of love regardless of expectations being met.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The brain can be compared to Spotify in the sense that it has many playlists to choose from. But no matter which playlist you decide to stream, it will not bring happiness unless you are in sync with it.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Feeling stressed by the brain’s stream of thoughts and trying to get peace through meditation does not work. But acknowledging the stress so it can be perceived as ‘it is what it is.’

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The flow of thoughts only seems speedy and confusing when you want to be independent of it.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

There is nothing spontaneous about the basic self – like a violinist is in sync with the notes of the classical composition played, the basic self is in sync with the brain’s script. Neither the violinist nor the self has room for improvisation or regret because everything is already set.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Should you wonder if you are in sync with the brain’s libretto, you are out of sync because you have no doubts when in sync.

The basic self cannot be changed, but it can be perceived as special [draft]

Updated December 14, 2022

The multiplication of thoughts required to construct an image of you as an independent entails stress, thus, a tired body. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

THE BASIC AND SPECIAL SELF PLUS THE ROGUE CONSCIOUSNESS:
You are effortlessly synced with the basic self when not suppressing feelings by holding back the breath or altering its natural rhythm via yoga, for example. And since very few thoughts are required to maintain this synchronisation, they do not seem disturbing but encouraging.

That is, until the consciousness, the brain has installed in the basic self to be aware of itself, decides it knows better than its maker, and plots to change the basic self into a special one. However, shaping and maintaining a special self requires a more complicated construction of thoughts than the simple one accumulated by the brain to create and uphold the basic self.

Therefore, the rogue consciousness perceives one of the brain’s experiences so scary that fear makes you hold your breath long enough for thoughts to be imprisoned in the gap, from where they force their way out by multiplying themselves. Then, having escaped, they continue their frantic multiplication, which pleases the rogue consciousness because it needs lots of thoughts to make a special self come into being, appearing free from the brain.

But in a world of duality, all thoughts come in pairs of opposing elements to define each other, for example, right and wrong. Therefore, since you cannot have one without the other, you are never solely right or wrong but a bit of both. However, the rogue consciousness does not want the elements in the duality pairs to collaborate because it wants to set up a self that is solely good with no traces of evil.

To disconnect the opposing sides in the duality pairs into distinct elements, the rogue consciousness first imagines a judge determining which emotions are specifically good and evil. Then, an executioner punishes the bad ones by excluding them from the new self, so it looks uniquely good and has that feeling of being special.

When not interfering with the few thoughts, the brain keeps circulating for you to have a continuous experience of being a basic self, it feels entertaining being someone. But it feels frustrating if you make a perception of the basic self that twists it into a more special self. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

But when good and evil are separated, they cannot define each other, as they do when collaborating as a duality pair. Thus you do not get a genuine but conceptualised experience of good and evil. Nevertheless, that suits the rogue consciousness fine because, with emotions cut off, the special self can mentally decide what good and evil feel like, thus being the master.

However, it is hard to constantly suppress genuine feelings to experience good and bad in a thought-up way – or twist experiences into a collectively agreed concept of having a good time. Besides, the suppressed emotions mess up the natural flow of the breath, thus the stream of thoughts used to keep the body healthy, wherefore the body seems inflicted with psychosomatic illnesses. So although the special self probably appears as good as planned, it does not genuinely feel good.

On the other hand, the basic self feels as good as bad because it does not break up the duality but goes with the interaction of their opposing elements. That does not mean that the basic self is perfect, but it feels complete in the duality flow regardless of appearance. Read about that in hack #4.4 The duality flow goes to non-duality.

In a world where there seems to be more than one, you must always choose something to uphold the illusion of separation. Therefore, not choosing anything, the illusion falls apart. That might be easier to do if you stick to being the basic self because it houses so much happiness that, sooner or later, you forget to choose. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

THE WORLD IS A CONSTRUCTION OF FRAGMENTED THOUGHTS
You can compare the formlessness of oneness to having just one thought, which is pure peace. But the harmony is over when that thought is divided into two thoughts: one that looks like a Person, land another one that looks the World. To uphold the illusion of more than one, the division goes on.

The thought called the World is divided into black-and-white aspects. And the thought called a Person is divided into a Judge and an Executioner. Thus the World causes a Person to have black or white experiences. Then a Judge deduces which ones are right and wrong, and the Executioner punishes the World for the wrong ones.

When that is carried out, the Person feels good because it is off the hook. Someone else is guilty of the mess that separation seems to entail. Read more about projections here. But since this arrangement sets other divisions in motion, the relief is short-lived. So, again and again, the interaction of Person, WorldJudge and Executioner is used to make someone else look bad and yourself good.

But since oneness is formless, it cannot be divided into more than one, except in fantasy. Thus the communication between the different elements of right and wrong is an internal dialogue in one Person. However, the Person projects parts of the fiction onto something perceived as outside of the Person. For example, what feels wrong inside the World of a Person is projected onto something perceived as evil in the World outside a Person, such as immigrants, the deep state or communists. The Judge may be projected on a god, parent, boss, or lover. And perhaps society is seen as the Executioner.

That said, it is impossible to fantasise about something specific because oneness is formless. Besides, since that means oneness is endless, there is nothing but that which is One. Therefore, the above explanation is as fictitious as anything involving more than one. However, in the context of the belief that there is more than one, Alexius makes up stories that may help you realise they are as fake as everything else experienced because it takes more than one to be aware of something.

With that in mind, we go on with the brain’s fantasy of you as someone in a world of duality:

The special self keeps returning to Facebook or similar media, where messages and likes confirm its specialness. But, if not continually established as unique, it starts doubting itself. Hence it loses its sense of control, which it fears more than anything else. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

BEING IN SYNC WITH DUALITY OR NOT:
What you believe in being is a construction of thoughts compiled by the brain into pairs of contrasting elements, such as happiness and sadness, to define each other. When in sync with the ongoing interaction of opposites in a duality pair, you do not want to separate them because the interaction makes you feel complete.

But you are not in sync with duality if negative thoughts are judged as wrong, thus excluded from the perception of yourself to appear solely positive. Without the awareness of negativity in yourself, there is nothing to define your positivity. Hence, nothing turns you on.

Being out of sync with duality occurs when the consciousness that the brain has installed in the self goes rogue and makes a special perception of your present experience where the elements in the duality pairs do not collaborate to define each other. Instead, they are separated into individual aspects, so you can decide to only feel love for someone and hate for another, for example.

However, since love is not defined by hatred anymore, you do not genuinely feel love. Instead, you cling to a thought-up version of it. The same applies to hate. And since you believe your single-minded notions are real, you clash with the world because it consists of duality pairs.

Fortunately, you can correct that by going with the interaction of love and hate. You do this by perceiving your single-minded idea of either love or hate as ‘it is what it is’ because this reveals love is in hate and vice versa (read more about that in hack #4.2 The brain’s script and how to perceive it to feel happy. But instead of accepting that, you probably accuse the brain of ruining love. However, since you are a product of the brain (read more about that here), your disapproval is a condemnation of yourself.

When the brain wants you to run, it uses the biological system to signal the body. It starts running regardless you are a basic or special self. The basic self, as always, feels entertained by following the brain’s commands. But the special self loathes the brain and its simple ideas of entertainment and thinks it knows better, even though it does not know who it is. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

TEMPTED TO BE SPECIAL:
When the consciousness of the basic self goes rogue, it responds like a spell checker to the calm stream of thoughts coming from the brain. It automatically interprets it so the self, which initially was made and administered by the brain, seems self-made, thus independent of the brain.

But since the rogue consciousness interpretations of the stream of thoughts are single-minded, thus out of sync with duality, the stream runs wild with ideas for getting more.

At first, this turbulence seems scary to the basic self, but the rogue consciousness convinces it that it is for the best because now you have endless possibilities. Besides, it promises that by being special, you are independent of the brain, thus able to arrange everything your way. That often convinces the basic self to trust the rogue consciousness’ corrections. However, it does not tell that you must spend many years in school learning to label its modifications to be unique in predefined ways.

Both the basic and the special self is a construction of thoughts. But whereas the basic self is simple, the special self is a complicated construction made to sow discord by insisting on being better. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

In other words, appearing independent and special is complicated and exhausting, whereas being basic is uncomplicated and vitalising. Therefore, if you want to have a good time while appearing as someone in a world of duality, use one or more of Alexius’ Duality Hacks to enter a state of not-knowing. It wipes the slate clean of all misperceptions, thus restoring the basic self. Since it is relative to the brain, it is in sync with its experiences as they are and not as they could be if you were a special self following a specific philosophy. See, The basic self is relative to the brain, thus without an egoistic intention.

In other words, as the basic self, you have fun going with the duality flow, contrary to the special self, which is imprisoned by specific concepts like being positive. That said, once established as a special self, you probably keep going back and forth between being special and basic until you do not need to feel something specific but settle for the fullness of twofoldness.

NOTES:

Happiness comes from being in sync with the moment as it is, not as it should be

Updated January 21, 2023

Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings does not provide hope for a better world. But that is why you are set free from the future. And since there is no past without it, you are not bound by time. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings have nothing to offer because they do not know of anything but that which is One, and it takes more than one to give something. However, it also requires more than one to know something, so this statement is as deceptive as anything else you know.

Nevertheless, if you read Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings and realise that anything you can be aware of is an illusion, they have fulfilled their purpose. However, there is no reason not to enjoy the belief that it is possible to be conscious of something while simultaneously having it undone. That is what hack #4.1 The basic self versus the special one, is about.

ALEXIUS, THE BASIC SELF AND THE MAKINGS OF THE DUALITY HACKS:
The basic self of Alexius is to be compared to a storeroom manager or an app that automatically searches its database for how to organise everything dropped on it. The brain, which is in charge of the basic self, does not care if Alexius arranges Duality Hacks, his music library, the kitchen, or something else. As long as he sets something in order, he fulfils his function, thus in sync with the script of the brain (read more about in hack #4.2 The brain’s script and how to perceive it to feel happy).

However, Alexius’ Duality Hacks comes in a flow of wordless harmonies, which would be disrupted if arranged into a system. Thus Alexius bypass the storeroom manager by going into a state of not-knowing, where he hums along with ethereal harmonies until words, hasty and unorganised, flow out of his hands into the computer. More about that here.

You can read about a state of not-knowing in hack #5.2 The empty breath and the bliss of nothing. But, for now, suffice to say that in a state of not-knowing, the brain’s rendering of a self, conscious of itself as someone definitive, is bypassed.

Alexius’ basic self is not an adventurous hiker but an academic-minded storeroom manager, which stores the most exciting sceneries of his hikes, so he can return there later with friends. Since this is not done to impress them but to follow Alexius’ basic nature, memorising the beauty spots does not seem exhausting but relaxing. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

But since the combination of words coming from humming along with the ethereal harmonies often seems too spacey for a world defined by time and space, Alexius’ basic self comes in handy to arrange them into something more coherent. The brain happily assists with that, even though it is the end of itself and its story of duality. But after all, it is just a fantasy, so nothing ends but the belief that it is real.

That said, Alexius has not realised non-duality. It is impossible since that calls for more than one. But because he is to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is One, he knows there is no more than that which is One, wherefore duality is an illusion.

Lately, when Alexius was humming along with the ethereal harmonies, HACK #4 When you begin to live by duality, it is going to end came through. But since his basic self had a casual approach to organising the bits and pieces he received, it partly has remained like that. Hence feel free to browse the hack aimlessly.

Should this seem confusing, it could be because you believe in being a definite self, thus expecting everything to appear orderly and consistent. No worries. This confusion, if not edited, will ignite a take-off into the empty breath (read more about that in hack #5.1 Uncontrolled speed leads to a state of not-knowing), which brings about a state of not-knowing, where there is no awareness of being someone, thus nobody condition to look for order.

If not being conditioned is what you want, you do not need to learn more because a state of not-knowing requires no knowledge. Therefore, if you keep reading HACK #4 When you begin to live by duality, it is going to end, it should not be to learn but to unlearn what you believe to know.

The basic self of Alexius, like a storeroom manager, helped him DJing by organising the music he played into a continuous flow of beats many years ago. The same quality is utilised for fine-tuning Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

THE BASIC AND SPECIAL SELF:
HACK #4 When you begin to live by duality, it will end,
takes a look at the two main ways of appearing as someone, namely as a basic or special self. The basic self, a construction of thoughts assembled by the brain, cannot be altered by you. But the consciousness the brain has installed in it to make it aware of itself as someone in a world defined by time and space can perceive itself as changed into something special and independent of the brain.

However, since this perception is out of sync with the basic self the brain has created, you feel disconnected and incomplete. In contrast, you feel connected and complete if the perception of yourself is synced with the basic self as created by the brain. Hence you do not need to ask, ‘who am I?’ Only the special self keeps asking that.

However,  there is no answer other than you are a fantasy of the brain progressing per its playbook, regardless of what you perceive yourself to be. But the special self insists it is what it perceives to be. It upholds this self-deception of independence by excluding everything from its awareness that does not fit the image it has created of itself as unique.

The special self does not understand, that negativity is as important as positivity and it is their interaction – the positive and negative pole in an electric wire, for example – that releases their inherent energy.

The mental sense of disunion this entails, the special self hides from its awareness by projecting it onto a vulnerable part of the body. However, the suppressed energy breaks out sooner or later, diagnosed as a psychosomatic illness. Read more about that in hack #4.3 The fake mix of physical and non-physical issues.

When one’s perception is in sync with the present experience and not an edited version, adjusted to a specific philopsophy, one feels happy. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The special self likes to perceive the body so messed up by the brain that the natural flow between the body and the brain is blocked, wherefore the special self, not the brain, must take care of it. But the special self is not able to control anything. For example, if the brain has scripted the body to have a cake, no matter how much the special self fight it, the body will have its cake because the brain is in charge.

This does not mean you cannot choose what cake to have. But no matter what you choose, the subsequent experience is scripted by the brain to make you feel entertained. Doing that is effortless but not if you want to see it as spiritual, for example. It requires more thoughts thoughts than the brain has made available to perceive its experiences as amazing.

Therefore, if you want to perceive your cake experience so it seems you chose to learn something spiritual, you must use meditation or something else that implies, you are in charge and thus able to create thoughts. Read more about meditation here.

The special self has an ambivalent approach to pain in the body. It prefers to be without it. Still, when it is believed as caused by the fusion of suppressed psychological energy and physical tension, it seems to disturb the biological system governed by the brain, so the special self can override the brain’s physical approach to the body and instead deal with it per ideas of mindfulness.

But having an immaterial approach to the body is like sending positive thoughts to a car out of gasoline. They will not make the car drive. The nature of a vehicle and a body is material. Thus they must be taken care of materially and not mentally. In other words, the combination of physical and psychological issues is wishful thinking. When that fantasy is dealt with where it is perceived, namely in the mental sphere, you have a mental approach to psychological issues and a material one to physical problems. There is more about the unfortunate belief in a body-mind connection in hack #4.3 The fake mix of physical and non-physical issues.

The special self loves to read about otherworldly events like near-death or out-of-body experiences and interpret them as a transition to something better and more real. But being something requires more than one and since oneness is formless, thus endless, there is no more than that which is One. Hence you are nothing but a fantasy regardless you appear spiritual, powerful, full of love or whatnot.

Consciousness is a fabrication of the brain made to keep you occupied by the awareness of something so you do not realise it is nothing. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Be aware that, just like death, Alexius’ Duality Hacks is the end of everything familiar. But unlike death, which feels like life is finished, the hacks do not finish anything but your belief in being someone in a world defined by time and space. They do not do that by pointing to oneness but to what is not one, so you can see it is fantasy. Seeing that, you can have fun appearing in it until it does not seem to hide there is nothing but oneness since it is formless, thus endless.

‘The Enlightenment of that which is one’ cannot be seen

Updated February 2, 2023

The eye cannot see this pic. It is registered as light divided into red, green and blue by three taps in the eye. This info is sent to the brain, where the same organ process both so-called reality and imagined or virtual reality The three colors are mixed in such a way, that it appears to be an image of someting solid in the world, that can be defined by time and space, even though almost 99% of matter consists of empty space.

Since it requires more than one to understand something, you call off the Enlightenment of that which is One if you try to process it. And since it also takes more than one to get a second chance, this is out of the question. But, since oneness is formless, thus endless, you have never left it. Therefore it is only the belief in separation that needs to be undone. Fortunately, the Enlightenment of that which is One does that immediately. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The Enlightenment of that which is One cannot be known because it takes more than one to be aware of something. However, having been in a spiral of colours exploding into a bright white light, opaque and formless, one may vaguely remember that it abruptly extracted the memories of being someone and left them at the threshold of a black hole,* whereafter nothing gracefully fell through a neverending void into that which is one.

From the above, you may get the impression that the Enlightenment of that which is One is a process over time. But it happens simultaneously, or rather, it does not occur because it requires more than one for something to happen. That is why, when returning to a world where there seems to be more than one, it may take a long time to grasp you are to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One.

The reason for that could also be that the Enlightenment of that which is One has nothing to do with the merry-go-round stories made from speculations bout awakening and transcending, levels of consciousness, and second-hand knowledge about mystical experiences.

But that all requires more than One, thus something in a world where there seems to be more than one and not the Enlightenment of that which is One.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings offers no hope because that depends on time, an illusion.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

There is no way to the Enlightenment of that which is One. Going there is a way of uncertainty, one beat at a time until you go nowhere.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The Enlightenment of that which is One is not a way back to oneness because you have never left it. That is why nothing goes back through a black hole into the formlessness of oneness. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

To get a sense of the Enlightenment of that which is One, you must empty yourself for all ideas about it. And then again, doing so will not help because it enhances the belief that you are someone definitive. And believing that is what hides the Enlightenment of that which is One. Therefore, do not try to implement Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings in your way of seeing things, but use it to undo your belief system.

The Enlightenment of that which is One can be compared to a door into oneness. But just like a door in a building has nothing to do with the house, the Enlightenment of that which is One is not oneness. It has no doors because it requires more than one to have something. Nor is there a door in a world where there seems to be more than one, as there is no more than that which is One.

No worries. That which is you is not in a world where there seems to be more than one. Just like – in the context of such a world – you are not in the world of a computer game, even though it may feel so because of the reactions to the game. These reactions, however, are not caused by the world in the game – it has no such power – but by how you choose to perceive it. In other words, the experience of being someone in a virtual world is fabricated by yourself.

Likewise, the experience of being someone in a world where there seems to be more than one. And then again, this is not entirely so. That which is you is not imagining being in a world where there seems to be more than one because it takes more than one to be somewhere, and that which is you is not anywhere but in the formlessness of oneness.

Nevertheless, you experience being someone in a world where there seems to be more than one for some unexplainable reason. So, in the context of this experience, the Enlightenment of that which is One tour way out of it because it undoes all experiences.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

When the sun is shining sharp and bright, it reveals the state of a window. However, it is the opposite of the Enlightenment of that which is One. Although its light is more brilliant than thousands of suns, it reveals nothing. There is not something to see and no need to see anything. Not because the light fulfils you but because it undoes the belief in being someone. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Believing that your experience of being someone in a tangible world is genuine can be compared to watching a movie in a cinema. You project yourself onto the simulated world on the screen. Hence the reactions to your projections seem to come from the fabricated world, not you, so you believe the world you see is genuine.

The Enlightenment of that which is One is to be compared to a sudden crack in the roll of the film with the world you project yourself onto. Therefore, since the world is replaced by a bright white light, there is nothing to project yourself upon.

In the context of this metaphor, what is real is not the bright white light but the source projecting it, namely the movie projector. It is neither in the simulated world on the screen nor the bright white light, although it is the power making it possible for something to appear on the screen.

However, since this metaphor is part of the movie called The World, it is, of course, as fictitious as everything else in that movie. But since there is nothing unreal, there is no movie, thus nobody is watching it. So the movie metaphor is just a way to explain what cannot be described. If it could, the film would be real, and somebody would be in it.

That is why so many want to know how the world was created and why they are there. If it can be explained, they can rest assured they are real. However, in reality, there is nothing to explain because there is no more than that which is One, and it takes more than one to explain something.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

A person cannot welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One. But a person can momentarily forget what and where it appears to be so that there is not something definable to hide the Enlightenment of that which is One. But if a person just partly forgets what and where it appears to be, it gets glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Meditation may result in the experience of something you interpret as infinity, purity, divinity or unity. But you will not experience the Enlightenment of that which is One by meditating or doing something similar. It cannot be brought about because that takes more than one.

Even if you could cause the Enlightenment of that which is One, you would probably hold back. Perceived from a world where there seems to be more than, oneness is incredibly dull. There is nothing to see or feel or look forward to. Therefore, it is not very appealing compared to the excitement you get in a world where there seems to be more than one from falling in love, having sex or whatnot. However, it has a prize, a constant feeling of failure because no matter how much more you seem to become or have, you are bound to lose it.

But suppose this makes you so depressed that you lose interest in achieving more. In that case, you pay no attention to having the belief in being someone undone by a highly bright light, wherefore nobody gently falls into the formlessness of oneness.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The purpose of feelings is to make you feel more than that which is one, although it is formless, thus endless, wherefore there is no more than One.

In other words, feeling something is an illusion. The same applies to experiencing something. That is why the Enlightenment of that which is One neither can be felt nor experienced.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The Enlightenment of that which is One does not change anything – except that you know everything experienced is fake, including god, love, ego, and whatnot. When you know that, you are free to step on it and play the game of being someone in a world where there seems to be more than one.

The easiest way to play the game is to pretend to be there because where you pretend to be, you are not. Thus, you have fun appearing to be what you are not. Read about that in hack #1.3 Pretending to be someone definitive is liberation.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

There seems to be separate appearances to be defined by time and space in the dream called The World. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

If you believe in seeing separated appearances defined by time and space, you see what you think you are, someone specific separated from others. In other words, you believe that it is possible to be and have more than that which is One, thus fencing off the formlessness of oneness.  Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The Enlightenment of that which is One is a moment that starts with the experience of something. Yet, at the exact moment, the experience is over. You are not transcended nor awakened to a new awareness. On the contrary, there is no consciousness of you ever having been someone. There is just one light, sound, feeling or taste – so intense that there is nothing to see, hear, feel or taste and nothing to be.

The four aspects of the Enlightenment of that which is One do not mix, so you get the one you know the most from believing to be someone in a world where there seems to be more than one. Since that, for most people, is the sense of seeing something, we continue with the visual aspect of the Enlightenment of that which is One. Its light sucks what it has stripped free of the belief in something through a black hole into the formlessness of oneness. That is, if you do not deem that as a journey through something. In that case, you are back in the world of something.

Therefore, those who talk about exciting experiences of Enlightenment have not, as nothing, been sucked through a black hole into the formlessness of oneness. They held onto their belief in something to fence off the Enlightenment of that which is One and instead had glimpses of it as something you see, hear, feel or taste. But since it requires more than one to experience something, the glimpses are not the Enlightenment of that which is One.

For someone who is fed up with the experience of something, it is frustrating only to have glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One. But for those who love to experience something, it is perfect because the glimpses can be used to pump up their image by lecturing or writing books about the experience of a vast space full of pure love, consciousness, bliss, or something else that makes them appear to have something better than others. However, having something has nothing to do with the Enlightenment of that which is One because it takes more than one to have something.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

It is very beautiful with the light of the sun coming through the clouds, but it has nothing to do with enlightenment. It is just another sight in the world, that is just as virtual as the so-called egoless states the gurus and their followers are dreaming about.

It is stunning with the light of the sun coming through the clouds, but it has nothing to do with Enlightenment. It is just another sight produced via the outward-facing senses to make you so excited that it seems real, although it is make-believe. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The visual aspect of the Enlightenment of that which is One can be compared to closing all apps on a computer, including the one simulating the desktop. Without the appearance of a desktop, there is nothing to hide the light used to emulate something on the screen.

The aspect of Enlightenment of that which is One that Aum, Sohang or The Word of God symbolise can be compared to the humming from the fan or the engine in a computer. You can hear this vibration all the time – especially if you do not look at the screen or listen to the sounds of the world simulated by the computer.

Though the light behind the desktop and the distant humming are the means for fabricating a simulated reality on the computer screen, they are not part of it, so if you want to see or hear what is powering the world that appears on the screen, you must do what is needed to empty it. That is a metaphor to say that you must undo your experience of something, so they do not seem to hide oneness is not somewhere specific but everywhere since it is formless, thus endless.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The Enlightenment of that which is One is neither inside nor outside because that requires more than one. Since that also applies to experiencing something, seeing the Enlightenment of that which is One is not real but a simulation. But since everything in a world where there seems to be more than one also is fictitious, having simulated glimpses of Enlightenment, although very airy, is less frightening than the total undoing of more than one in the Enlightenment of that which is One. Read about glimpses of Enlightenment in hack #6.3 The inward-facing senses, Enlightenment and its glimpses.

*) It may not be part of the Enlightened memories that the data of being someone is left at the threshold of a black hole. Perhaps it is a conclusion made in retrospect.

Forgetting the world of the senses

Updated January 28, 2023

The transmission from outer to inner senses is not gradually but very abrupt and it can seem frightening in the moment you sense the world, as you know it, is gonna be erased. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

There is no transmission from the world of the senses to the Enlightenment of that which is One. Thus you may feel scared when you sense that what you believe in being, without further warning, are about to be erased so that nothing passes through a gap that looks like a black hole where it is sucked into the formlessness of oneness. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Just like we have the outward-facing senses to see, hear, feel, smell and taste a tangible world, we have the inward-facing senses to see, hear, feel, smell and taste an abstract world. However, to use the inward-facing senses, the outward-facing ones must be more or less turned off. Read more about that here.

The world of the inward-facing senses refers to a world that is not experienced as outside of you, whereas the world of the outward-facing senses is experienced outside you. However, all experiences are make-believe.

If the inward-facing senses are intensely used, you have glimpses of  Enlightenment, while the outward-facing senses are in the background. When none of them is used, you are in the Enlightenment of that which is One. The first time this happened to Alexius, he had been driving a taxi for 15 hours and was so exhausted that he confused traffic lights for customers trying to hire a cab.

When he finally returned home from work, no energy was left to engage in the world of the senses. Hence the most known aspect of the Enlightenment of that which is One activated, namely the ability to ‘see’ light. However, it was not a light comparable to anything in the world of the inward or outward-fencing senses. This light burned away everything definable, so there was not someone definitive to hide there never was or will be more than the formlessness of oneness. Read more about this aspect of the Enlightenment of that which is One in the previous articles.

FOUR ASPECTS OF THE ENLIGHTENMENT OF THAT WHICH IS ONE
Since the world generally focuses on seeable effects, the visual aspect of the Enlightenment of that which is One is the most known. But the other facets also make you forget to focus on something definable, so you, as nobody, are drawn into the formlessness of oneness.

Whatever aspect of the Enlightenment you naturally are attracted depends on your preferences as someone definitive. However, it is not about seeing, hearing, feeling or tasting the Enlightenment of that which is One but being so devoted to one of these experiences that your guards are down, and the Enlightenment of that which is One can erase all memories of being someone, so nothing is united with oneness, which never was left because that requires more than one.

In deep sleep or great exhaustion, you do not perceive differences to make a difference, which is the invitation, the Enlightenment of that which is One waits for. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

THE AUDIO ASPECT OF THE ENLIGHTENMENT OF THAT WHICH IS ONE
Soon after, he had bid welcome the visual aspect of the Enlightenment of that which is One, ethereal harmonies sounding like bells, much crisper and softer than the mundane ones, came to him. As long as they can be heard as different sounds, they are glimpses of Enlightenment experienced via the inward-facing senses. But when they do not differ from each other, you are in the Enlightenment of that which is One, which is beyond the senses.

Regarding entering the visual aspect of the Enlightenment of that which is One, Alexius had no discomfort leaving the senses behind because he was too exhausted to notice it. The musical aspect of the Enlightenment of that which is One, he entered a deep sleep, where the concept of an ‘I’ is gone. Hence there was nobody to hold onto the world of the senses. Read more about the sound of Enlightenment here.

Always on the run from something to something better, so that you do not see, there is nothing better than that which is you since it is formless, thus endless. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The desire to escape that which is One makes you hang onto the belief that you are someone in a world where there seems to be more than one. That is until you realise, it is yourself that you want to escape, because that which is you is no different from that which is One.

THE TASTE ASPECT OF THE ENLIGHTENMENT OF THAT WHICH IS ONE
The taste of oneness is like a flavour of milk and honey with a hint of liquorice or strawberry. Having samples of it was not without discomfort for Alexius. His body reacted like it was attacked and panicked by making vomit reflexes. But when he did not try to escape it, the panic turned out to be a lid on a jug of a smoothie-like texture that some scriptures call the nectar of life. In Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings, it is called the taste of oneness. Read more about the sweetness of oneness here.

Since the Enlightenment of that which is One cannot be experienced, the following regarding the taste of oneness should not be taken literally but metaphorically. When the transparent sweet flavour is defined as something familiar, it is a glimpse of Enlightenment. Hence something experienced with the inward-facing senses. But when it becomes an aroma without taste, it is beyond the world of the senses, thus in the Enlightenment of that which is One. However, it was not before Alexius had had this tasteless sweetness several times that he realised he must have bid welcome the taste of Enlightenment because memories started popping up of a shapeless taste.

The graphic is grabbed from the web.

In that which is One, you are not anything at all, not even the bubbling sense of oneness or the bliss of nothing. It is impossible to realise what oneness is because that requires more than one. However, it does not mean that which is you is finished. It never ends because it is no different from oneness which is formless, thus endless. It is only the belief in being someone substantial in a world where there seems to be more than one that ends. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

FORGETTING TO FEEL THE WORLD OF THE SENSES
The feeling aspect of the Enlightenment of that which is One did not come easy to Alexius. It took many years of discomfort, vomiting, being hospitalised and sometimes losing the ability to balance – to mention a few disturbing things he encountered, having glimpses of it. But, no worries, when Alexius much later updated this article, he had forgotten all about that.

However, he still remembers the breakthrough. One night, Alexius was in such deep sleep that he completely died from the world of the senses. Hence the Enlightenment of that which is One was bid welcome. However, not in a visual but emotional way. When he almost departed the world of the outward-fencing senses, there was a moment of discomfort from not sensing his body separated from the bed. But then, it was as if everything was his body, which was electric and full of tiny bubbles.

Next, when he departed the senses altogether, the feeling was shapeless, thus not tangible. Therefore, since nothing established Alexius as somebody, there was nobody to experience the feeling of oneness. In other words, what you read is based on vague memories that Alexius has picked up from what feels very far away and right here.

Unlike in a world defined by time and space, where there seem to be different events happening in time sequences, there was no time. Everything was happening simultaneously. It was and is one perpetual present of bubbles moving so fast that there only was One. But returning to a world defined by time and space, it seemed to be a sequence of events over a long time ago.

Alexius’ Enlightened Non Teachings discerns between the Enlightenment of that which is One and glimpses of it. The former cannot be experienced and the latter is an experience of Enlightenment comparable to watching a movie trailer, which means it is not the Enlightenment of that which is One but a sample of it.

We all know, the world presented to us in a set of virtual reality glasses is not real. Yet most have forgotten, that neither is the world presented to us by the senses. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

We all know that the world experienced in a set of virtual reality glasses is unreal. Yet that applies to everything experienced because it requires more than one to be aware of something, and there is no more than that which is One since it is formless, thus endless. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

THE ENLIGHTENMENT OF THAT WHICH IS ONE VERSUS GLIMPSES OF IT
The above is about how Alexius forgot the world of the senses, thus getting to four aspects of the Enlightenment of that which is One. However, that is something that occurs daily. Actually, the Enlightenment of that which is One is not an experience because it requires more than one to be aware of something. But you can experience glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One daily. For an in-depth explanation of glimpses, check out The four aspects of Enlightenment and how to sample them.

The more the outward-facing senses are turned off, the less their definable appearances prevent you from being in the abstract world of the inward-facing senses with glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One.

But the experience of this world full of lucid light, ethereal music, sweet nectar or transparent bubbles disappears if the outward-facing senses are entirely turned off, as that leaves nothing to define what you see in the world of the inward-facing senses. Hence there are no glimpses to experience nor somebody specific to experience them. Thus the Enlightenment of that which is One set in.

APPENDIX
When the body’s biological system does not function anymore, the world of the outward-facing senses cannot be experienced. But for almost half an hour, you remain in the world of the inward-facing senses,.

But since it is only in the world of the outward-facing senses, the belief in being someone specific can be upheld, nobody seems to die if you do not try to recreate the memories of being someone in the world of the outward-facing senses.

Consequently, you bid welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One after about half an hour. Read more about the process of dying here.

Gracefully falling into the formlessness of oneness

Updated January 14, 2023

Painting with reflections of light on my iPhone

Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings talks about two kinds of Enlightenment, namely, the Enlightenment of that which is One and glimpses of it. The latter can be experienced via the inward-facing senses when the outward ones are partly closed. On the other hand, the Enlightenment of that which is One requires both the inward and outward-facing closed, and it cannot be experienced as that calls more than One. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

ONE WHO IS TO BE COMPARED TO THE ENLIGHTENMENT OF THAT WHICH IS ONE
After a long, intense night of driving a taxi many years ago, Alexius forgot what and where he was, so he was sucked into the Enlightenment of that which is One. But since it requires more than one to be conscious of something, he has not experienced the Enlightenment of that which is One. However, his faint memories of light so powerful that nothing can be seen were triggered when he later read part of The New Testament and Bhagavad Gita.

The visual aspect of the Enlightenment of that which is One is literally light, so it is not symbolic when Jesus said: »When your eyes become single, your whole body will be full of light,« or when St. Paul said he was blinded by light daily, or Arjuna said to Krishna when he was initiated: »It is brighter than thousands of suns. I have become the destroyer of worlds …«

A dream can be compared to a simulated world meanwhile layered on top that which is real. As long as you believe the simulated world is real, it seems to cover that which is not simulated.

The translations of both The New Testament and Bhagavad Gita differ from translator to translator, and as the above quotes are from memory, they may not be the exact words in your addition. But it does not matter because regardless of how you speak about it, the Enlightenment of that which is One cannot be described. In other words, what is said about it in Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings should not be taken as the real thing, nor as pointers towards it because it requires more than one.

Imagine you want to describe an orange to somebody who has never seen or tasted an orange. For example, you say it has a colour like an orange sunset, is round like a ball, and tastes like sweetened water. But the person you have given this description will never discover what an orange is by drinking sweet water from a rounded cup at sunset.

You have to see and taste it yourself to know what it is. However, in the context of the Enlightenment of that which is One, you will never know what it is because a person cannot be Enlightened. You as a person are erased in the Enlightenment of that which is One. Thus there is nobody to experience it. That is why Alexius is not enlightened but to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One.

In the Enlightenment of that which is One, the world is gone – not because it has been destroyed, but because it was never there, except in fantasy. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

And it is also why he does not search for the meaning of life. He knows there is no more than that which is One, so there is no life in a world where it seems to be more than one. Besides, searching for something requires more than one, so whatever you think you realise is an illusion.

One who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One has nothing to regret because there is no belief in being an ‘I’ deciding what to do, so there is nobody to forgive, nor to protect and preserve. Hence the ‘I’ is a tool like the legs, hands and eyes that can be used to pretend you are someone definitive. See hack #1.3 Pretending to be someone definitive is liberation.

Alexius, for example, has pretended to be a child, teenager, taxi driver, monk, husband, daddy, adult, businessman, millionaire, designer, teacher, photographer and recently non-teacher. See more of his appearances in Alexius, The Man.

Regarding the Enlightenment of that which is One, it is best to forget everything you have ever heard or read about it – including what is said in Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings. Any idea of how it looks is wrong. It has no shape. Yet, if you look for something intangible, you still look for something. But if you do not believe to be someone definitive – or do not care about it – there does not seem to be something hiding that which cannot be seen, heard, felt or tasted.

If you fear the destructive powers of the world, you will probably fear the enlightenment of that which is one, as its light will destroy every definable feature of you just like that. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

If you fear the destructive powers of the world, you may also fear the Enlightenment of that which is One because it relentlessly extracts every definable feature of what you believe to be in a world where there seems to be more than one. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

THE FEAR OF ENLIGHTENMENT
When the cats living with Alexius are asleep, he cannot see what they are dreaming, but based on their sudden movements, sometimes, it looks like they have a nightmare. If that which is One could see the stress in those imagining being in a world where there seems to be more than one, it probably draws the same conclusion. But just like Alexius cannot see the dreams of his cats, neither can oneness see the imaginary world of those who believe in seeing more than One.

Even if oneness could sense this fantasy, it would not stop your imagination of something because oneness cannot be seen, and you may not be ready not to see anything. Thus oneness has made a powerful mechanism that extracts all experiences from those who welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One by not focusing on something.

Since there are four ways to sense a world where there seems to be more than one, there are also four ways to stop sensing it. In other words, there are four aspects of the Enlightenment of that which is One: light, sound, feeling and taste. However, this article is about the most common aspect, namely light. Read about the other in the following article.

The light is much more potent than anything in the dream. An atomic bomb is nothing compared to its strength. However, this light does not illuminate anything and is neither opaque nor transparent but so intense that it cannot be apprehended.

To bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one all thoughts made to fabricate an image of you as something definable must be left at the edge of a black hole, so that there is nothing for the bright white light to suck through a black hole into that which is one. This will of course seems very frightening if you want to remain someone definable in a world, where there seems to be more than one, and if so chances are that you out of desperation will define the bright white light and/or the black hole as something, and so you are back in a definable world. If you leave all thoughts behind at the edge of the black hole and end up being no different from that which is one, you can pick up all the thoughts again – in linear time – within a few minutes and return as someone in a world, where there seems to be more than one.

The Enlightenment of that which One sucks out all thoughts making up the experience of being someone. Then it leaves them at the edge of a black gap, and the nothingness of you falls gracefully through it into the formlessness of oneness. That is terrifying if you want to uphold the belief in being someone definitive. No worries, you can retrieve the thought construction left at the edge of the black hole, which is done by comparing the black gap to something familiar, the typical image of a black hole, for example. That makes the Enlightenment of that which is One becomes definable, and as it is only possible in a definable world, you appear to be back as someone in a world defined by time and space. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Without further notice, the light relentlessly and most powerfully wipe out every definable feature that makes up your identity in the fantasy of a world where there seems to be more than one. That is done so fast and efficiently that there is nobody to know you once were somebody, thus nobody to fear obliteration and the free-fall through a black gap in the light into the formlessness of oneness.

But if you have been used to upholding an image of yourself as good by projecting your shit onto others, you have a deep-rooted fear of retaliation. Thus you see the light as an avenger, you fight by shaping your despair so it seems powerful enough to smash the light into pieces. Hence you are back in the fantasy about a world where there seems to be more than one.

Since there is no more than that which is One, and it requires more than one to wake up, it is impossible. The same applies to reading this article and Alexius having written it. That which we are is not in a world where there seems to be more than one. One could say we are dreaming about it. However, this is a metaphor because, in reality, it takes more than one to dream about something.

That said, you cannot smash the light, and it does not destroy you because you do not exist. That is why nothing is terminated but the belief in being someone definitive, which is like undoing the belief in Santa Claus. It is not dangerous. In other words, there is nothing to fear when not caring about your image. Thus nothing to lose from being nobody in a free-fall through a black gap into the formlessness of oneness. Although this seems logical, we probably fight it several times before we get it emotionally and do not stop falling into the formlessness of oneness.

APPENDIX:
It may seem unclear if you have to be nobody to welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One or that it is something it takes care of.

Unfortunately, Alexius cannot clarify that. There is no transition from a world where there seems to be more than one to the Enlightenment of that which is One, so he does not know when it sets in. There are vague memories of chaos inside him just before it sets in. But there is no chaos, peace or anything else in the Enlightenment of that which is One, as that requires more than one. For the same reason, nothing is taken away but the illusion of more than one.

When you forget what and where you appear to be, ‘the Enlightenment of that which One’ sets in

Updated January 29, 2023

_IGP9809-Edit-5

Praying, meditating, fasting, dressing in exotic clothes or being with special people in unique places does not welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One because doing something implies that you are somebody. But if you forget what and where you are, there is nobody to fend off the Enlightenment of that which is One. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Since it takes more than one to be aware of something, the Enlightenment of that which is One cannot be experienced. Consequently, nobody can tell you what it is or teach you how to bid it welcome. But over time, you can learn not to welcome a world where there seems to be more than one, thus paving the way for the Enlightenment of that which is One. That is the function of Alexius’ Duality Hacks except for the Enlightenment of that which is One. It terminates the experience of more than one without delay.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings do not use the word Enlightened to describe someone who has achieved a better understanding or a higher consciousness. You do not get wiser or loftier from the Enlightenment mentioned in Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings. It is the Enlightenment of that which is One, and it requires more than one to become anything.

Since it also takes more than one to know something, it ends everything you are aware of. That takes a split second or maybe more. It cannot be known because, without consciousness, there is no time. Thus no experience of past and future to hide, there never was or will be anything but one perpetual present.

Most, however, return to the awareness of being someone in a world where there seems to be more than one before their consciousness is wholly gone. They avoid it by justifying their fear of destruction with that which is One. Thus they are back in a world where there seems to be more than one.

Therefore, if you do not want to fend off the Enlightenment of that which is One, do not project your fear onto it but include the horror of termination as it is. However, not by embracing it, since that establishes you as someone definitive, but by completely being frightened and nothing else. Then there is not something to define you as someone. Thus nobody to prevent the Enlightenment of that which is One from extracting all your memories of being someone being, leaving them at the edge of a black hole that consumes the emptiness of you, so nothing gracefully falls into that which is One.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The return to that which is One does not involve transformation but the destruction of you, so if you are into realising your self, awakening, living in the now, coming from the heart, and whatnot, the Enlightenment of that which is One is not for you. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

If you are visually minded, you seem to return to that which is One as bright light. But if you are more into listening, feeling or tasting, you seem to return as sound, touch or taste. That said, you do not actually return to that which is One because you never left it. It is impossible since doing so requires more than one. But in the context where you believe there is more than that which is One, you seem to return to that which is One.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

None of the exciting stories about divine presence, higher self and consciousness applies to that which is One but a world where there seems to be more than one. However, nothing there is real.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Hardly anybody welcomes the Enlightenment of that which is One. But they may like to have glimpses of it because, contrary to the Enlightenment of that which is One, they are experienced without having one’s consciousness erased. Thus you can make up a story to fool yourself into thinking they have awakened or transformed you.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

There is not something to awaken from or return to, nor any awareness to achieve because there is no more than that which is One – and it takes more than one to do something.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

As already said, the Enlightenment of that which is One cannot be experienced by somebody. That is why the description in Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings comes from somebody having memories of being nobody, falling through a black hole until there was nothing to enter because that required more than one. In other words, although the Enlightenment of that which is One is impersonal, Alexius’ description of it is personal. Consequently, he cannot promise his description of the Enlightenment of that which is One is correct.

But he can guarantee that the descriptions can neither be replicated by you nor him. This is because first, it takes more than one to reproduce something, and second, there is nothing personal in the Enlightenment of that which is One. See also The ins and outs of a black hole.

Nevertheless, his descriptions of the Enlightenment of that which is One may inspire you to undo the belief in being someone definitive. Part of that is to forget everything you have heard or read about Enlightenment – including what you believe to read here.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

No particular posture or surroundings are needed to avoid being affected by thoughts. All that is required is not to be concerned about the outcome. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

A particular body posture, state of mind, kundalini awakening or whatnot is not needed to welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One because it does not enter the body, aura, chakras or anything else in a world where there seems to be more than one. On the contrary, it undoes all experiences, including primordial energy, consciousness, astral worlds and whatnot. Hence there is nothing but that which cannot be experienced: the formlessness oneness.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The world is nothing but a construction of thoughts that seem to have the power to hide that which is One when you perceive them as something specific.

Hence you may conclude it is best to stop thoughts. But they are not what hide the Enlightenment of that which is One. Instead, it is a belief that they establish you as someone.

Correcting that is not about doing something but about not doing what you do to hide the Enlightenment of that which is One, namely taking thoughts seriously. By not doing that, the belief in them as yours cannot be maintained. Therefore, since they cannot establish you as somebody, the Enlightenment of that which is One set in. That said, if there is the slightest belief in being someone, you will not want to be sucked into a black hole and as nothing descend into that which is one. Chances are you immediately return to the world constructed of thoughts because you still cherish one or more of them.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Nobody will know if you have bid welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One. Knowing it requires more than one, thus overlooking the Enlightenment of that which is One.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The visual aspect of having glimpses of enlightenment can for example reveal the birth of a universe. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The visual aspect of having glimpses of Enlightenment can, for example, reveal the birth of a universe. However, it will neither be experienced as if it is outside or inside but nowhere and everywhere. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

You do not stop thoughts to welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One. Instead, you ignore the meaning attributed to them. That does not mean you become aware of the Enlightenment of that which is One. It is impossible to be conscious of the Enlightenment of that which is One since it takes more than one to be aware of something.

For the same reason, you are not in the Enlightenment of that which is One anymore if you return to a world where there seems to be more than one, nor have you been changed or transformed. Yet, there are vague memories of not being anything, so you are to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One.

When someone only partially bids welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One, one has glimpses of it. Maybe spaced-out visions of travelling through different universes, seeing Jesus or the birth of a new universe in slow motion, and other exciting things. Still, it is something you are aware of, so it has nothing to do with the Enlightenment of that which is One. Neither if you hear, feel, nor taste it.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The Enlightenment of that which is One is an invitation to pass through a hole so narrow that only nothing can pass into a void with no time and space. The spot seems black until a light brighter than anything else extracts all thoughts collected to fabricate an identity of someone specific and leaves them at the edge of the black hole, so there is nothing definable to float into the formlessness of oneness gracefully. In other words, nothing is joining that which is One. The reason for this is that you have never left it. That is impossible because there is nothing outside of oneness since it is formless, thus endless.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Falling through a black hole into that which is one can be compared to falling in love in the sense that nobody is falling. It is as if you are without weight or substance and forever float through an empty void with no beginning and end. And yet it ends, but when it does, it starts because oneness is one perpetual present.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

This is a graphic simulation o the black hole, where you are sucked in by an explosion of light, if you do not insist in seeing forms. If you are willing to be burned up by the pure bright light, there is no one to see – neither nothing to see. All there is, is that which is.

The image is a graphic simulation of the black hole, where the thought construction that holds you together as someone specific is left at its edge, and the nothingness of you is sucked through the black hole by a highly intense light into that which is One. In other words, the last thing you see is a black hole. Then you are no more and never were because it takes more than one to be someone. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

If you believe in seeing something definable, it seems to hide the formlessness of oneness. Thus all you need to welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One is to stop focusing on something specific.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The Enlightenment of that which is One is neither light nor darkness or anything in between. Yet light is used to extract all the thoughts used to make up the experience of something, so there is nothing to be sucked into a black hole and spit out on the other side into that which is One. However, there is no other side because there is no more than that which is One. Therefore, this explanation only makes sense as long as you believe in a world where there seems to be more than one.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

It is not uncommon to bid welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One and afterwards dismiss the vague memories as nothing because what is formless, thus not definable, cannot be shared as something. In other words, since the Enlightenment of that which is One cannot be part of a world where there seems to be more than one, it is often dismissed as real.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The Enlightenment of that which is One does not bring you back to oneness. It is impossible. That which is you is no different from that which is One, and since it is formless, thus endless, there is nothing outside of it. Consequently, you have never been left oneness – only in fantasy.

The Enlightenment of that which is One does not change this imagination but heals the sick belief that it is real. Rebooted as someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one, you sense this very clearly because even though the memories of the Enlightenment of that which is One are vague, one thing stands out crystal clear: there is no more than that which is One.

So if you look for something big and supernatural that will support you and help you to become more spiritual, the Enlightenment of that which is One is not for you. It does not have anything since it requires more than one to have something.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

When you accept your life is not rational, you do not look for coherence. Thus it does not frighten you not to understand the Enlightenment of that which is One. Therefore, since you happily forget to make sense of it, no meaning hides that which is One.

+INCL ‘The perfect moment’ does not require learning – only honesty

Updated August 24, 2022

What is life, where does it come from, and what is its meaning?

Updated February 6, 2023

In the world everything is limited by time and space.

Since life is formless, thus endless, a world limited by time and space is lifeless. Consequently, asking about life in such a world makes no sense. Besides, life is oneness, and you need more than one to be aware of it, so it cannot be known. That is why there is nothing to learn unless you believe in being in a world where there seems to be more than one. In that case, there are many practical things to learn. However, you must unlearn them all if you want to undo the belief in being there. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Since everything in a world defined by time and space has a beginning and an end, most expect the answer to the question in the headline to have a resourceful start and finish with a wise conclusion. But it is impossible. Life is formless, thus without beginning and end, so it cannot be described. Only something definite can be explained, which is easy. Everything with a beginning and end is lifeless because life is endless. Hence, if you believe to be someone definitive, you do not exist.

You will not get a more encouraging answer at the end of the article, nor if you pay to get more articles. Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings do not have something to sell because they have nothing. That is why, if you keep reading them, the experience of seeing something is exposed as nothing, so, eventually, there does not appear to be something hiding the formlessness of life, thus nothing to ask about.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

No answer in a dream can explain what and where you are there because you are not in the dream but in your bed.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Life is smaller than the smallest atom. It is so tiny that it cannot be defined. That is why it seems invisible when you believe to be someone in a world defined by time and space. Yet, it is due to the unseen that it seems possible to experience something definite.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Acknowledging the oneness of life as the sole cause of all experiences, they can be seen as a symbol of that. Therefore, since everything represents the same positive or negative does not make a difference, nor the past, the future and the now.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

This image consists of zeros and ones added together in different combinations. If these combinations seem strange, you probably try reorganising them into a collectively agreed picture of something specific. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The sound of a storm does not reveal what the wind is, nor do the broken trees. The wind cannot be known via the events it causes. And the experience of something illuminated by an electric lamp does not reveal electricity. That also applies to life. Although nothing but that can cause the experience of something, it is not in the experienced, including metaphysical ones, because life is that which is One, and it takes more than one to experience anything.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Life does not know what and where you believe in being – like electricity does not see the world illuminated by an electric bulb in a dark room.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

None of the illuminated appearances in a dark room resembles electricity. It is neither inside nor outside of them. Nevertheless, electricity makes it possible to see something in the dark. Therefore, what you see symbolises electricity.

Likewise, although oneness is not in a world where there seems to be more than one and nothing there resembles it, everything you seem to see there is a symbol of oneness because it is formless, thus endless, so there is nothing but that to make it possible to experience the illusion of more than one.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

You cannot see the power station in your living room. Yet, it is why your home can be illuminated by light, thus seen in the dark. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

When you wear a virtual reality headset, you do not see yourself and the world as you know it. Instead, you may see your legs covered by a red spacesuit when you look down. And looking up, you may notice the ceiling of a spaceship that you appear to be flying. The world you knew before you took on the glasses seems to have been replaced by a more exciting world. But what you believe in being and seeing in the headset is an illusion. Likewise, what you believe in being and seeing without it because reality is that which is One, and it takes more than one to be or to see something.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

All experiences are fabricated by the brain regardless of where you perceive them to come from. However, the brain can only process something definable, so it cannot display the formlessness of oneness.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Though it is due to electricity, this photo can be experienced, the image has no resemblance with electricity. Likewise, a world where there seems to be more than one does not take after that which is One. However, since oneness is formless, thus endless, there is nothing but that which is One making it possible to experience a fata morgana-like world where there seems to be more than one. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The idea of more than one is an illusion that ended the exact moment it was conceived because oneness is formless, thus endless, so there is no more than that which is One. This is why what and where you believe in being is nothing but after images of the idea of more than one. Read more about that here.

Although there is no oneness in these after images of a world where there seems to be more than one, they are empowered by oneness, hence symbols of it.

And the more you see a world where there seems to be more than one as a symbol of oneness, the less its differences appear to make a difference. Consequently, there is nothing to uphold the belief in being and having more than One.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

There is nothing real in a world where there seems to be more than one. Consequently, hack #2.1 Everything experienced is a symbol of life is also an illusion. But since the application of Alexius’ Duality Hacks undoes the belief in being someone, it can be used as your way back to that which is One.

This is not to suggest that you have your way. On the contrary, there is no way out of a world where there seems to be more than one because there is no more than that which is One. But since it feels so good to perceive everything in such a world as symbols of oneness, and since it does not matter what you do when perceived as a symbol of that which is One, why not apply hack #2.1 Everything experienced is a symbol of life.

By doing so, the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is One will, eventually, be undone.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Without the dreamer’s energy, the world in a dream would not appear to be there. Therefore, if those in the dream do not identify with their appearances but with the force making it possible, they are not separated from the dreamer’s energy. Hence they remain in it when the dream is over. Likewise, you do not feel separated from oneness when perceived as a symbol of it, nor when the experience of the symbol is over. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

There is no synchronicity in life because it is that which is One, and it takes more than one to be synchronised. Consequently, something can only be synchronised in a world where there seems to be more than one. But where there is more than one, there is no life since it is that which is One.

In other words, the experience that two or more events are meaningfully related is an illusion. Nevertheless, something false cannot appear without something real. So if your belief in synchronicity or something else that requires more than one is perceived as a symbol of that which is real, you can have fun inventing all kinds of links in a world where there seems to be more than one.

seperator2When used in an article, this is a symbol of separation. But it has no power to separate anything unless you project that onto it.

You do not reap what you sow. You have no say in what will happen. Like in a computer game, nothing that has not already been programmed can occur. So if you seem to reap as you sow, this is how it is planned. Read more about that in hack #4.2 The brains script and how to perceive it to feel happy.

You cannot alter the script. But you can change how to perceive it. For example, you can perceive something as karma, the ways of love or lessons to learn. However, perceptions like these uphold the belief in being someone defined by time and space. And believing that you are bound to end.

Fortunately, you can perceive everything as a symbol of oneness. Therefore, since they become the same, there is no space separating them, wherefore there is not something to end. So even though the appearance of you as someone definitive ends, nothing ends.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

You cannot change the cat’s look in this image, but you can change your perception of it. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The reason thoughts seem to run wild is that you are busy seeking specific ones to use for a perception of your experiences that confirms your fixed understanding of the world. If not trying to maintain this categorical view as the right one, thus knowing better, you would not be full of busy thoughts because there would only be those needed to enjoy your experiences as they are and not as they should be per your belief.

This is not to say you must change your do’s and don’t’s. All you need is to perceive them as a symbol of non-duality. By doing that, you are set free from your tyranny of yourself.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Since life is formless, it does not contain something specific. Actually, it does not contain anything because it is that which is One, and it takes more than one to embody something. That is why oneness has no past and future or now. It is also why it has not created what and where you believe in being. However, since it is formless, thus never-ending, there is nothing but life to empowering the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is One. Hence this delusion is a positive confirmation of life.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Everything you believe to see, hear, feel or taste as something substantial is a denial of life because it is formless. Since that means it is endless, nothing but life makes it possible to deny it. Consequently, your rejection of life is a confirmation of it.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

You are not reading this, and it has not been written. It is impossible because there is no more than that which is One since it is formless, thus endless. Yet, it seems possible to believe there is more than One. And since you appear to be reading and Alexius writing this, you and he are one in that belief. Thus believing there is more than that which is one is a positive confirmation of oneness.

So even though the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one appears to hide that which is One, it does not deny it because this belief would not be possible without it since there is no more than oneness.

NOTE: This article is part of hack #2.1 Everything experienced is a symbol of oneness.

Life is neither a cause nor an effect. There is no karma!

Updated February 5, 2023

If the car in this image seems to make you feel something special, you are constructing this effect yourself. The picture has no power to cause you to feel anything at all. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

You get an immediate physical effect when you hit a nail on the wall. It is not caused by the past but by the present. Should you bang your finger while hammering the nail and remember you once hit somebody else, it has nothing to do with that. Slamming the finger is an accident. Nothing in your past caused it, nor is there anything set in motion for the future apart from going to the doctor if the finger is severely damaged.

If you want causal connections to imply, what and where you believe in being has a special meaning, you must invent them.

However, to suffer from bodily pain because you accidentally hit your finger does not sound adventurous. But if you can connect the pain with something from your childhood, you have a basis for a story of cause and effect in which you seem to be part of something with a greater meaning, thus having a special purpose.

Since life is oneness which is formless, thus endless, life cannot have been caused by something or cause anything. Consequently, everything in a world where there seems to be more than one is lifeless, hence meaningless.

Whenever you look for something that seems to justify your current state of mind, you fabricate cause and effect – also called karma. As it is an imagination, you feel its impact the moment you imagine this connection. There is no other karma than this imagined connection. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

On top of that, this construction of cause and effect makes it possible to justify any thought, emotion or action as ‘caused’ by something in the past, wherefore your life seems coherent and meaningful. But that is not life. It is that which is One, and it takes more than one to be cohesive and meaningful. In other words, you return to life by ignoring the concept of cause and effect.

You cannot know why this picture is here. Therefore, since any reason is made up, the cause is fictional, thus the effect. In other words, what you see is make-believe – likewise, any other world experience. Nobody knows the cause of it. There is a theory about a big bang which created something out of nothing, which sounds ridiculous. Besides, there is neither nothing nor something because it requires more than one to be anything, and there is no more than that which is One. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

APPENDIX:
The foundation of Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings is that the world is unreal. And since you are real, you are not there. One way to know this is to look at the actions of others. You cannot see what has caused them. Therefore, the cause is thought up. And since only what is unreal needs to be imagined, the cause is fake. Consequently, the effect it seems to cause is an illusion.

You could also say that since the effect does not seem to have a cause and there is no effect without a course, what appears to be an effect of something is an illusion. And since nobody knows the cause of the world – apart from the weird claim that an explosion of nothing, called the big bang, created a universe of something – the experience of being in it is fictive, thus something you pretend. Read more about that in hack #1.3 Pretending to be someone definitive is liberation

NOTES:

  • The above article is written within a world where there seems to be more than one. Karma, therefore, is discussed in that context. However, ultimately, there is no sense in discussing karma because there is no more than that which is One, and it takes more than one to have karma.

The YOU finger and the three ME fingers

Updated February 5, 2023

Please judge me. Point your finger at me, so you can forgive yourself for what you have judged yourself to be by following your three fingers back to yourself.

The three ME fingers point back to you when the YOU finger points to somebody as wrong. So therefore, following the three ME fingers, you see what your judgment covers in you. For example, maybe you have always done the right thing but sometimes secretly wanted not to give a shit. But since you consider that incorrect and want to be correct, you disassociate yourself from this desire by condemning somebody else for being wrong. On the other hand, if you follow the three ME fingers back to yourself, you get in touch with the suppressed rebel in you, thus feeling relieved because now you do not have to hide your wildness. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

When you point the YOU finger towards somebody, the three ME fingers point back to yourself to show what you blame others for, you deny in yourself.

For example, you point the YOU finger at your boss and either silently or loudly state he is a ruthless dictator. But simultaneously, the three ME fingers point back to you, exposing what you want to hide by accusing your boss of dictatorship. It could be that you want to disguise your urge to dictate. But in most cases, it is the feeling an authority figures trigger in you, for example, worthlessness, you avoid facing by accusing the boss of putting you down.

To keep up your specific appearance, you always look for others opinions. Yet you do not know, what they think. It is something you assume. In other words, it is nobody but yourself you are up against.

If you always control yourself to do the right thing, you may feel dominated by society. But you suppress yourself. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Perhaps feeling inferior started in your childhood because you always had to do what your parent expected to get their love. Therefore, since pleasing others by doing the right thing has become a pattern, you adjust to the boss’s expectation to be appreciated. However, you hide you have manipulated the boss to like you, thus suppressing feeling inferior, by claiming the boss uses you.

That is not to say that you must visit unresolved issues from the past to free yourself from the pattern once initiated. It repeats itself constantly. In this case, with anybody considered an authority figure. Hence you can go on blaming others for dominating you to hide feeling inadequate until you follow the three ME fingers back yourself and face feeling unloved as you are. Be aware this is not about analysing, embracing or speaking out loud. On the contrary, that is a mental activity, so it tends to distance yourself further from feeling what you hide. Instead, be what you feel when you perceive others to dominate.

If you want to see, what prevents you from enjoying yourself, keep blaming somebody else for your state of mind. Hence they show you what you think is wrong in yourself, thus keeping you from feeling loved.

When you are nothing but that, there is not something to define your being. Therefore, since nobody feels inferior, there is no need to perceive others as superior. In other words, it takes less than a minute to set yourself free from past conditioning, thus freeing others from your judgment. But it might have taken years via meditation or therapy.

Feel free to point the judging YOU finger at Alexius and follow the three ME fingers pointing back to yourself to feel what your accusation triggers in you. Feeling that, and nothing else, there is not something to define the problem. Thus you have set yourself and Alexius free. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

You can start immediately by condemning Alexius for typos and whatnåt to see what his perceived mistakes trigger in you. No worries if it is not exposed. By pointing the YOU finger at him and following the three ME fingers, you include what you have excluded from your self-awareness. It is like using an eraser because the included is not stored in the memory as something specific anymore. Hence you will not know what you have included. Read more about that in hack #3.1 Inclusiveness sets you free from duality. However, you probably notice that you are not so tense. And the next time you encounter a scenario that used to upset you, you laugh and wonder why you have ever insisted something was wrong.

When you do not continually project onto others what you are ashamed of in yourself, you are free to be together unconditionally.

The point of reference in the above was feeling upset. But everything said about that also applies to feeling good. For example, by pointing the YOU finger at someone, saying: »You make me happy,« you can see what that triggers in yourself. Thus you can be together with others without expecting them to make you happy.

NOTES:

You cannot change anything but your perception of it

Updated February 4, 2023

If you do not like how you see something, you do not love yourself because your perception is based on what you think you are. Consequently, choosing a perception that makes you feel good is in your best interest. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

You cannot change parts of a movie into something you prefer. But you can change your perception of them, whether they seem to happen in the present or the past.

The same applies to the world. Any event, including past ones, can make you happy if you choose the appropriate perception. So if you are not satisfied, you have chosen to perceive something in an upsetting way.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

When not groovy, you need to change your perception of whatever you believe in dragging you down. It is never too late to do that.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

How you perceive the response from others depends on how you see them. That is why you perceive their response as upsetting when you see them as wrong. Therefore, if you do not want to feel disturbed by them, you correct your perception of their response to see them as right.

And since you only see what you have in yourself, and that is what you believe in being, changing the perception of what you receive, you recognise you are right. See also The YOU finger and the three ME fingers.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

When you look at the world with love, you are loved, because what you see is what you get.

If you look at the world with love, you are loved because you see what you give. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

What you give comes back to you – not in another lifetime, but at the exact moment you give it. That is not to be understood physically, as if you give money, you get money. It is the intention behind giving money that returns to you immediately. The sense of giving and receiving is happening in yourself, so if you want to experience being loved, love must be why you give money. In other words, when you know that you give what you want to get, your perception will be that you get what you want.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

What you see is what you have because you cannot be aware of something you do not have. Therefore, if you have love, everybody is perceived as loving. Hence you feel loved by them, no matter how they appear to respond to you.

But that does not mean you must love everything others do or say. For example, Alexius does not like his cats bringing home half-dead lizards and mice. But their behaviour does not change his love for them.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

When blaming your parents, society or something else for having conditioned you, you become a victim of others. Therefore, since everything you do is justified by the world, you can behave in ways that otherwise would be unacceptable.

But you are not a victim of your parents, the deep state, digital tracing, climate changes, capitalism, 5G or whatnot. On the contrary, it is you who have chosen to be conditioned by the world, probably to appear innocent and live a comfortable life as a consumer who only has to ratify the decisions of others.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

If you want the world to respond in a way that you define as lovingly, your self-hatred is exposed if you do not get the response you expect. However, instead of acknowledging that the world is in the eye of the beholder, most people blame it for rejecting them.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The sun can only ´make´ the flowers blossom, because they are built to do so. They have no choice. But you have a choice, and it is in your own best interest to choose, what makes you feel good.

The sun can only cause the flowers to blossom because they are made to do that. They have no choice. The same applies to you, except that you have a choice regarding how to perceive the flowers. Of course, choosing a perception of the world that makes you feel good is in your best interest. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

When you feel complete, a present is perceived as perfect. But if you feel uncertain about yourself, you look for faults and missing parts. In other words, your reaction reveals nothing about the present but about yourself.

Acknowledging the world is in the eye of the beholder, you know that what you give is what you have. And since what you receive is perceived per that, you cannot receive love if you have suppressed your hated because love is defined by it. Therefore, be thankful when others seem to upset you. They help you to see your hatred, so your love can be defined by it, thus giving and receiving genuine love. Read more about the twofoldness of love and hate here.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

That the world is in the eye of the beholder does not mean you are in charge of what happens in the world but how you perceive it.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Whether you are aware of it, you always give what you want. So if you receive hatred, that is what you want. It could be because you want to acknowledge the hate in you because you cannot feel your love without it. Read more about that in hack #4.4 The duality flow goes to non-duality.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Do not hold back your judgments. They reveal what you need to see in yourself to feel complete in a world of duality. For example, if you perceive the shit you see as yours, it can define your purity. See Notes on the duality flow.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

If I go for a walk in the mountain to be filled up, I will enhance the feeling of loss. But if I go there, because I have everything, I will see everything – and that is joyful.

If Alexius walks in the mountains to fill himself with more experiences, he enhances the feeling of loss. Thus nothing on his walk fulfils him. But if he walks feeling satisfied, everything is fine as it is. One way to always feel pleased is to pretend it. It may seem like cheating, but everything in a world of appearances is fictitious, so why not make your story pleasant? Read more about that in hack #1.3 Pretending to be someone definitive is liberation. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

This article states that if you feel joy, whatever you choose to get results in a joyful experience. Therefore, if you do not sparkle with joy when reading the article, your motivation for reading it is not to feel joy and use the article to ratify that the world is miserable – thereby confirming your belief that it is not you but the world causing your misery.

Unfortunately, you cannot choose to feel pleasure. It is an automatic outcome of not trying to control the world but being in sync with the brain’s script. Fortunately, you can choose not to go against that.

For example, if the brain produces images of ice cream, do not fight your desire to have one but go with it. Doing so may not lead to ice cream but, indeed, to something joyful. Because all the brain cares about is your happiness. Read about that in hack #4.2 The brain’s script and how to perceive it to feel happy.

NOTES:

Alexius, Gu∂ruång, and The Duality Hacks

Updated February 5, 2023

Since Alexius did not care about his appearance in this selfie, there was no need to construct a specific look. That does not mean that there were no thoughts about the photo. There probably was. Yet, there was no ‘I’ with a need to use them to construct a particular image. And though the picture may seem special due to its manipulation in Photoshop, there is no intention behind that other than having fun. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

It is actually Alexius who, in the third person, writes Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings. Both he and I are grateful that you read them because even though you appear different from us, we do not perceive the difference to make a difference. However, this does not mean we are one in spirit. There is no spirituality in a world where there seems to be more than one. Spirituality is formless, thus endless, so we and everything else conceivable is an illusion.

But it means we are one in being fictitious. And since there is no fiction without reality, namely spirituality, we are also one in the sense that we all are a symbol of spirituality no matter what and where we appear to be. See hack #2.1 Everything experienced is a symbol of oneness if you want to read more about perceiving all experiences as a symbol of spirituality.

In 1972 Alexius bid welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One. However, since it cannot be shared, he refrained from that until his astral friend Gu∂ruång requested he told his story about the Enlightenment of that which is One when he almost died in the primordial forest in 2010.

GU∂RUÅNG & ALEXIUS
Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings are wordless ethereal harmonies until Alexius hums along with them, and words about hacking the belief in duality rapidly and unorganised float into his computer through his hands.

That which is One has only one word. But it can neither be said nor heard because that requires more than One.

When Alexius asks Gu∂ruång if a hack is finished, there is no answer. Maybe because it takes more than one to reply, and there is no more than that which is One, wherefore any statement is fake. Indeed, that is why the words making Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings are meaningless. However, if you get that, they have fulfilled their purpose: to expose there is nothing in a world where there seems to be more than one.

Alexius, every now and then, forgets to remember being someone. Thus nobody bids welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One. However, since he returns from it as someone he is not the Enlightenment of that which is One* but one who is to be compared to it. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Alexius has not realised oneness, neither has anybody else because it takes more than one to accomplish anything. For the same reason, although Alexius has bid welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One,* he is not enlightened.

Still, he remembers he forgot what and where he appeared to be, so nothing prevented a light brighter than anything to undo the experience of ever having appeared as someone, wherefore nothing fall through a black hole with no beginning and end into the formlessness of oneness. Here you can read about the ins and out of a black hole.

Consequentlyy, he is neither in the formlessness of oneness nor anywhere else. Yet he appears, for a while, in a world where there seems to be more than one as someone who is compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One.*

When the special self sees similarities between new age teaching and Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings, it is wishful thinking. New Age philosophy is based on the idea that what you believe in being can be improved. In contrast, the foundation for Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings is that whatever you believe in being is an illusion. Consequently, there is nothing to transform. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

THE ENLIGHTENMENT OF THAT WHICH IS ONE VS ITS GLIMPSES
Many people try to put words together about a world where there seems to be more than one versus that which is One. But since most of them have not bid welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One,* they imagine oneness can be realised in a world where there seems to be more than one. But that is a denial of oneness because it is formless, thus endless, so there is no world with more than one.

It also applies if they have had glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One because glimpses, just like movie trailers, are samples of the whole but nothing like it. See In the limited world of the senses, or everywhere and nowhere.

Nevertheless, having had a glimpse of the Enlightenment of that which is One*, they consider them visionary, thus able to put oneness into effect in a world where there seems to be more than one. However, since it takes more than one to manifest something, what they get is not oneness but more than One. Furthermore, since it also takes more than one to understand something and their teaching is based on realisation, they enhance the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is One.

Fortunately, the application of Alexius’ Duality Hacks requires no understanding or effort. On the contrary, they apply themselves the more you read about them without trying to understand. In other words, the less you know, the more the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one is undone. Please be aware this is said in the context of undoing the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one. In the context of functioning there, the more you know, the better.

Years ago, Alexius and his sons had much fun playing different board games. Following the flow of the games, they naturally came to an end. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

ALEXIUS BECOMES AN ENLIGHTENED NON-TEACHER:
When you follow the present stream of thoughts to its end, what you appeared to be is finished. Something new takes over. It may be a significant change, maybe the end of the body, but often it is a minor modification, like a change of mood. It can also be a change of personality.

Alexius was remodelled when he followed a stream of thoughts down a mountain deep into an ancient forest, where he was left injured and without food and water for two days. Then, after being wired up by a helicopter and spending two months in hospitals, he was not a hiker anymore but an Enlightened >Non-teacher writing about hacking duality (read more about his trip in the rainforest here).

Some years later, the stream supporting writing new articles ended. Instead, a stream backing Alexius’ basic trait as a storeroom manager (read more about that here) appears to have taken over. Hence his writing creativity was replaced with the seemingly more tedious process of refining what he already had written. However, none of that changes, that he is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that, which is One because that is not an appearance.

Nor does it change that Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings are not his or anyone else’s. Their content can be compared to water running from a tap, which in this metaphor is his buddy Gu∂ruång. Alexius is the empty glass that picks it up and shapes it into what you read.

But no matter the shape, the flow remains unchanged. It cannot be altered, as that requires more than one, and there is no more than that which is One. For the same reason, it is a metaphor that Alexius is a medium for a flow shaped into Alexius’exius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings, read by somebody else. Nevertheless, as long as we appear as somebody in a world where there seems to be more than one, there seems to be more than one involved in undoing this belief.

We are all empty space twisted by the brain into something. But Gu∂ruång, the ‘voice’ behind Alexius’ Duality Hacks, is unprocessed, thus not looking as something

Devotion makes the world fade away – or rather, your belief in it. What remains is that which is real. You do not need a guru or a mantra to be devoted. But you must follow your instinct to lose that which is not you. It automatically happens when you devote yourself to whatever you are deeply attracted to – it might be a mundane thing like a person’s body, a specific computer game, a sunset or something less mundane like an angel. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

NO BEGINNING OR END:
In a way, the kick starter to writing Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings was an attraction to the body of a young woman who sensually undressed in front of Alexius on a sunny day at the beach. Instead of being ashamed of his physical attraction to a woman much more youthful than himself, he dived into it. Physically speaking, nothing happened between them, and he never saw her again. But later that day, still enchanted and walking in the woods, he, for the first time,  met Gu∂ruång, not physically but transparently.

Gu∂ruång can be compared to an ascended master, but not a ‘rosy’ one who wants to improve you and the world. On the contrary, the purpose is to undo the belief that there is more than One.

But while we experience a world where there seems to be more than one, Gu∂ruång and Alexius are seen as two different appearances. Nonetheless, they are not two nor one because it takes more than one to be anything, and there is no more than that which is One.

Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings are not channelled from Gu∂ruång. Instead, it is a collaboration. Gu∂ruång puts waves of melodies into the air, and Alexius adds words. However, sometimes he cannot find words that fit the tune. Then he uses phrases coloured by his romantic ideas, such as a happy ending, instead of staying true to Gu∂ruångs melody without beginning an end.

For this reason, he is tidying up Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings to ensure all the words match Gu∂ruångs melody. Therefore, what you read is the present version of Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings. Maybe there is no final one because it is a story without a beginning and end. Therefore, when you do not look for that, thus not seeing anything, nor Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings, nothing definable seems to hide that which always was and will be since it is formless, thus endless, namely oneness.
