Everything considered to be a fact is made up by the brain. It is, for example, not a fact that you are reading this. It is something the brain tells you. But it does not share your perceived difference between real or imaginary, physicality or spirituality and what is perceived to be the experiences of you or others, a dream or a movie. The brain knows that any venture is an illusion because it is a construction of thoughts made of nothing – including the experience of the brain. All news is fake because it takes more than one to make them, and there is no more than that which is One since it is formless, thus endless.

If you conclude that this must include Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings, you are right. But being right, you are also fake because it takes more than one to be anything.

No worries. The purpose of Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings is to undo the belief that someone has a conscious experience of reading them. Hence, there is no awareness to hide that which cannot be realised, namely that which is One, as it takes more than one to be conscious of it.

Life has no secrets. It is impossible because it is that which is one, and it takes more than one to have something. So why do people look for the meaning of life? The answer lies in the previous sentence. Life is that which is One, so if you believe in being someone in a world where there seems to be more than one, you are without life. In other words, even though the oneness of life makes it possible to experience a world where there seems to be more than one, it is not there – just like a physical body is not in a dream, regardless of being the host of it.

Though some like to think, that the word of god is something written, but there is nothing in the New Testament that indicates that. In fact the word of god can neither be written or spoken.

Unfortunately most of those reading the New Testament reckon that it is The Word of God. But as god is that which is One and it takes more than one to write or read, the New Testament has nothing to do with The Word of God.

However, an echo of life can be heard and felt in a world where there seems to be more than one. Christianity calls it The Word of God, and in Eastern religions, it is often symbolised by the words Aum and Sohang. You could say that the oneness of life sends out an echo of itself to call you home. The echo does not reveal oneness but what obscures it, namely the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one. That said, it is, of course, a metaphor that oneness is calling you home because you have never left it since it is formless, thus endless,

Nevertheless, this article is written within the context of the belief that it is possible to be and have more than one. Within this context, hearing or feeling the echo of oneness is a call to go home. However, the echo has no beginning and end, so it is not a word that can be written or spoken. But, fortunately, it is very easy to hear and feel, it.

No chanting or any other action like that is necessary to hear/feel the vibration, that is symbolized by the word Aum. It comes to you automatically, when you do not differentiate the sounds of the world but include them all. In other words, when you do not focus or concentrate.

No chanting or reading in scriptures is necessary to hear or feel the vibration that Aum, Sohang and The Word of God symbolise. It comes to you automatically when the apparent difference of the vibes in the world is not perceived to make a difference, which they do not do if you do not exclude any of them as if there is more than one. THE VIBRATION THAT AUM, SOHANG OR THE WORD OF GOD SYMBOLISES IS …
… not a secret. Yet it appears hidden if you search for an elitist understanding rather than hearing or feeling the vibration, which can be heard or felt whenever you do not focus on hearing or feeling something specific.

When you hear or feel the unpronounceable echo of oneness, the sense of being someone definitive disappears. Thus there is nothing to transform.

For ages, people have been chanting Aum and Sohang or speculating about the meaning of The Word of God, assuming their secret would miraculously be revealed if they kept trying. But oneness does not make miracles or reveal anything because it takes more than one to do anything.

However, it only takes one chant of Aum or Sohang to hear or feel the echo of oneness. That is, if you do not look for peak experiences of an almighty god, love or something mysterious and sensational that can be mentally explained.

TO TUNE INTO HEARING THE ECHO OF ONENESS …
… you say AU very slowly, whereafter M almost hangs in the air as a whispering sound until it is replaced by a gentle humming from somewhere in the distance. That is the echo of oneness. If you feel like laughing, you heard it.

You can also get in touch with this distant humming by saying sohang – eventually combined with listening to the sound coming from the breath. Say SO when breathing in, and after a tiny break, say HANG when breathing out. The so is not important, except for tuning in. The same applies to the first part of HANG. After having said SO-HA(N), you remain on (A)NG at the end of breathing out. When it fades out, you hear the humming, the echo of oneness, in the silence.

Another way to hear the echo of oneness is to stop focusing on any sound in particular until you cannot distinguish the sounds you hear. Hence they turn into one sound, namely the echo of oneness.

You do not have to sit in a particular posture, repeat a mantra, chant, pray, wear unique clothes or be in a specific place with special people to hear the echo of oneness. Neither does there have to be stillness inside or outside of you. All you have to do is be devoted to what you do.

One of the first times Alexius sensed the humming from the edge of the universe, he was busy handing out flyers on a pedestrian street. He was so devoted to it that the noise of the road became a distant sound fusing into a humming, which, although distant, cancelled out the feeling of being there. It was like the sum of all feelings turned into a transparent one.

KNOWING IT IS THERE, IT IS EASIER TO CONNECT
When Alexius was a child, he liked the music from a radio station that was difficult to tune into because it was on a frequency between two noisy stations. But as he knew of its existence and where to look, he succeeded in tuning into it with much determination and the finest subtlety.

Likewise, since you now know it is possible to hear the humming of oneness from the edge of the universe regardless of the world’s noise, you can tune into it through devotion to your present activity or via Aum or Sohang. If there appears to be too much noise in the head, join it until it fuses into one sound.

TO FEEL THE ECHO OF ONENESS
Apart from hearing the vibration that Aum, Sohang and The Word of God symbolise, you can also feel it – especially if you are more emotional than audio-minded. Just do the same as above but put more weight into feeling it. Feeling it can be compared to sensing your body purring like a cat, or like it trembles of fear but without fearing anything, or shaking of coldness but more lightly and not feeling cold or anything else specifically, or feeling the bubbling effect in the body from quickly drinking the foam of Coca-Cola.* In this case, the sensation is not limited to tingling in a specific part of the body. Furthermore, it can be compared to a subtle version of the sound coming from a vacuum cleaner, the ventilation in an airport, or from the edge of the breath (not the sound of breathing in or out, but at the edge of them).

When this gets more intense, it may feel like you are the vibration from an earthquake or a giant laundry machine on the spin cycle. It is felt in the body and outside of it as if there is no transition between the body and the appearances outside it. If you do not panic but go with its flow, you forget about the body and anything outside of it, so no memory seems to hide that which cannot be experienced, namely, the formlessness of oneness.

However, since this article is not about the formlessness of oneness but something that can be experienced, we continue our talk about the primordial vibration from the edge of the universe. Feeling or hearing it is the same – like two sides of the same coin. Nevertheless, it is not advisable to be devoted to both simultaneously but one at a time.

Alexius is more into hearing than feeling something, so it took him a long time to feel the echo of oneness. When he finally did – after several years – it was so intense that the belief in being someone specific was momentarily undone. Thus the echo of oneness had brought him into the Enlightenment of that which is One, where you do not feel anything as that takes more than one.

WHAT DOES IT SOUND LIKE?
Some people complain that their neighbour is vacuuming while they meditate, but most likely, the neighbour is asleep. And it is not the sound of a vacuum cleaner they hear but the distant humming from the edge of the universe that Aum, Sohang or The Word of God symbolises. Awareness of the vibration can also be compared to hearing the distant sound of the air conditioning in a prominent place like an airport or a wave at the shore that never stops going up.

But since most look for an exceptional experience, they brush off something so simple as the gentle humming from the edge of the universe.

TO REMEMBER YOUR HOME
Already familiar with the humming that Aum, Sohang and The Word of God symbolise, you do not tune into it all the time if you still want to appear as someone in a world where there seems to be more than one. But you may tune into it now and then to ensure you have not forgotten the key to the formlessness of oneness – just like you sometimes check your pocket to hear or feel if the key to your home is there.

ALEXIUS AND THE ECHO OF ONENESS
The above is Alexius’ way of communicating, how you can hear and feel an echo of oneness. Using Aum or Sohang as a stepping stone is not a new idea. But so far, it has mainly been promoted in mysterious ways by people who do not hear or feel it themselves but hope that if they repeat those words repeatedly, a miracle will happen. However, looking for that, they miss the gentle humming coming from the edge of the universe.

But it was not through the words Aum or Sohang that Alexius started to hear or feel the humming they symbolise. Since his teenage years, he has been used to being ‘lifted’ by this humming – for example, while watching a movie, having a walk with his parents or sitting all by himself in a park. And so, when he was about 40 years old, it suddenly dawned on him that this is what people try to reach when chanting Aum or Sohang.

However, it is not about reaching but tuning in. When Alexius can do it, so can you because even though you may appear different from him, what makes it possible for the two of you to experience that you are different is the same, namely the formlessness of oneness from where this humming comes

Notes on ‘The Enlightenment of that which is One’ and glimpses of it

You know this pic is not how the physically world really look. It is rather a fantasy, thar is only possible due to physical life, that it therefore is a symbol of. Likewise the physical world is a symbol of life even though the physical world has nothing to do with life.

The outward-facing senses create such expressive images that we choose to believe a world where everything is separated by time and space are real. However, when the outward-facing senses are entirely turned off, there is no time and space. Hence nothing to hide that the abstractness of the inward-facing senses flows straight into an explosion coming out of a black hole or maybe into it. There is no way to know which way it is because this is the Enlightenment of that which is One, and it takes more than one to be aware of something.

Also, an explosion may not be the best word to describe it because there is nothing but empty space carrying the nothingness of you into the formlessness of oneness. Yet, this is neither correct because nothing happens. It is not necessary. You have never left oneness, as it is formless, thus endless.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Although oneness is endless, it does not last forever. On the contrary, it lasts no time because it is one perpetual present. However, this never-ending story cannot be told in a world defined by time and space. So if you want to hear it, you must leave the belief that time and space are real. However, without this belief, there is nothing specific to hear. That is why you are the story of one perpetual present.

But reading this article, you believe in being someone in a world defined by time and space in which everything, like Lego bricks, seems layered in levels of something different. Within this context, it also appears as if there are levels of turning off the outward-facing senses, thus being more or less in the world of the inward-facing senses with glimpses of Enlightenment.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Depending on the strength of the glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One, it is like momentarily dying from the world of the outward-facing senses. So if you are occupied by something there, it can be disconcerting.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The Enlightenment of that which is One cannot be seen. That is why it appears hidden as long as you look for something.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

In a world where there seems to be more than one, it is a basic instinct to separate oneself from reality by fabricating a make-believe world – a child, for example, prefers to believe that Christmas presents come from Santa Claus, although he does not seem very realistic. And grown-ups like to believe that being someone is real.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

However, these glimpses are not the Enlightenment of that which is One because there are no levels in that which is One. Nonetheless, the glimpses of Enlightenment slowly but surely undo the belief in differences, so someday you welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One. And since it is timeless, it takes no time to have any leftovers of the belief in separation undone.

If you, after having bid welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One, return to a world defined by time and space, it will be as someone definitive without the formlessness of oneness. Still, you have vague memories of it, which is enough to know there is no more than that which is One. And since it takes more than one to be aware of something, all experiences are seen as fake.

To sum up: When partially turning off the outward-facing senses, the inward-facing senses is only partly triggered, so you have glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One, which is an experience going on while still aware of the world of the outward-facing senses.

These glimpses can be compared to watching a movie trailer. But then again, it is not really so because both the trailer and the film are something you experience. And the Enlightenment of that which is One, bid welcome by completely turning off the inward-facing senses, cannot be experienced, as that requires more than one.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Glimpses of Enlightenment, which many mistakes for the Enlightenment of that which is One, may leave you with the impression that it is possible to fuse heaven and earth, thus creating a better world. But neither dictators, rich people, political or so-called spiritual-minded persons have ever succeeded in creating a world like they think it should be.

Instead of acknowledging this, most who have had one or more glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One start teaching others how to make the world better. They put together a new philosophy based on their interpretation of one or more glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One, mixed up with speculative ideas about spirituality and maybe ancient meditation traditions and whatnot.

For example, they may encourage not being conditioned so that you can be free in the present moment. But the experience of that or anything else is based on the conditioned belief that you are someone defined by time and space. However, it is not a fact, but an idea, that you blindly follow. You choose that to establish you are someone definitive in a world defined by time and space instead of the formlessness of oneness.

Mixing things may work well for you in a world defined by time and space. But not in the formlessness of oneness. Since blending something requires more than one, it is impossible to mix anything, so combining the different facets of the Enlightenment of that which is one fences it off.

That said, if you do not do the taste of life technique for the sake of the taste but for its benefits regarding defocusing, you can do this while being devoted to either seeing, hearing or feeling glimpses of Enlightenment.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

This image of the same mountain, as in the other pictures in this article, again shows that you can have many different glimpses of it and that they are all coloured by the one having the glimpses. However, the Enlightenment of that which is One is not coloured by the one experiencing. It is impossible to do that since it would require more than one. In other words, there is nothing personal about the Enlightenment of that which is One. Yet, describing it via vague memories is like everything else, where more than one seems to be involved, coloured by the personality of the describer as well as by the one interpreting it. If you perceive somebody to cheat or reject you or something else judged as unfair and acknowledge you are mistaken, you set yourself and others free from being defined. It is in your best interest to set everybody free, even though you think not everyone deserves it. Setting yourself and others free, the world of the outward-facing senses fades out. Hence the door opens to the world of the inward-facing senses, and you have glimpses of Enlightenment of that which is One.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

You do not find the Enlightenment of that which is One like you find other things in a world defined by time and space. But when you do not try to find anything, there is not something to hide it.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

When you welcome the Enlightenment of that which is one, it is like being transported in a driverless car that is programmed to take you to your favourite spot. There you carelessly forget to define the glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is one, so they merge into one bright light, tone, emotion or taste that absorbs everything definable and carries the nothingness of you back into the formlessness of oneness.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Enlightenment and the glimpses of it are in Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings described in a certain way. But elsewhere, it may be described in another way – just like two persons often describe the same cup of coffee differently.

So do not wait for the Enlightenment of that which is One, or the glimpses of it, to be revealed precisely as described in Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings. In other words, trying to extract a specific way to the Enlightenment of that which is One or its glimpses from Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings, will not help you. It is better to forget all words about it and thrust the light, sound, feeling, or taste of the Enlightenment of that which is One to do its thing when you partly are willing not to be someone definitive.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

You will have no more than one glimpse of the Enlightenment of that which is One if you use your interpretation of this glimpse to promote yourself as someone with a vision for a better future full of love or whatever you imagine will make you appear important.

When there is no need to use glimpses of Enlightenment to save the world but rather to undo the belief in it, you are set free to be used by the glimpses. Hence they keep coming until you cannot tell them apart, wherefore there is not something definable to experience, thus nothing to hide the formless Enlightenment of that which is One.

In a dream, there is no way to prove it is unreal because there is nothing real in it. Regardless of the distances and the different persons in a dream, there are no distances and no differences. Everything in the dream plays out in the dreamer, although none of it is there or anywhere else. The same applies to what experience when awake, except that nobody experiences it.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Metaphorically the Enlightenment of that which is One is a moment that starts in a dream of something. Yet, at the same moment, the dream is over. But since you were not in the dream, nobody is awakened with a new consciousness. On the contrary, there is no awareness of you ever having been someone in a world of something. There is just one bright light – so intense that there is nothing to see and nothing to be.

The light sucks what has been stripped free of the belief in something through a black hole into the formlessness of oneness. That is, if there are no leftovers of the belief in something. In that case, you think the Enlightenment of that which is One is something, thus getting back into the world of something.

Therefore, those who talk about their exciting experiences of Enlightenment have not, as nothing, been sucked through a black hole into the formlessness of oneness. They held onto their belief in something to fence off the Enlightenment of that which is One and instead have glimpses of it. They can be experienced as something you see, hear, feel or taste. However, since it requires more than one to experience something, the glimpses are not the Enlightenment of that which is One.

For someone who is fed up with the experience of something, it is frustrating only to have glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One. But for those who love to experience something, it is perfect because the glimpses can be used to pump up lecturing or writing books about the experience of a vast empty space full of pure love, consciousness, bliss, or something else, that makes them appear to have something better than others. Having something, though, has nothing to do with the Enlightenment of that which is One because it takes more than one to have something.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Someone compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One never asks, »who am I?«because there is no more than that which is One, thus not a world where there seems to be more than one. Consequently, someone compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One has no need for communities, discussions, so-called interesting exchanges or dialogues, sending love or anything else to make it appear as if there is more than one.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

There are no degrees of the Enlightenment of that which is One. It cannot be smaller or bigger because oneness is formless. However, in a world where there seems to be more than one, there are degrees of everything. That is why you can experience glimpses of Enlightenment on many levels depending on how much the outward-facing senses are turned off. But no matter the level, no glimpse comes close to the Enlightenment of that which is One because there are no levels in oneness.NOTE: This article is part of hack #6.2 The inward and outward-facing senses, the Enlightenment and its glimpses.

‘A state of not-knowing,’ how to get there

TWISTING EMPTINESS INTO SOMETHING EXCITING
The brain claims the experiences it produces are
founded on information from your sensory system. You gladly accept this because otherwise, it is evident your experiences are a fantasy fabricated by the brain, wherefore nothing you see consists of tangible elements but intangible thoughts. See, Eyes do not see.

You may have noticed that even with your eyes closed, the brain can produce vivid images that look like the world you see with open eyes. And it does not require you to be sexually stimulated by something in the physical world to produce an orgasm while you are dreaming. The substantiality of what and where you believe in being is a fantasy synthesised by the brain from nothing. For example, after watching several movies in a row, the brain pieces their different work of fiction into one continuous story that feels so compelling that you forget it is fantasy.

That is because whether experiences are perceived as yours or others, real or imagined, authentic or fake, fabrication or factual, physical or spiritual, they are processed by the brain in one higgledy-piggledy by the same organ. It views everything it processes as a construction of thoughts that needs to be shaped into something so engaging that you do not notice it is a fantasy created from nothing. Nor does the brain want you to see that it is as immaterial as the experiences it produces to appear as something by making you believe they establish you as someone substantial in a tangible world.

Since any experience of something has taken the brain one second to form from nothingh (read more about that here), you can undo it by going back one second second, thus entering the bliss of nothing.

Those who want to be in a merry-go-round world may first like to read about the bliss of a state of not-knowing. But when they realise the bliss comes from not believing to be someone definitive, they avoid a state of not knowing by making sure to perform as somebody definitive – for example, saying, »I need time to process it.«Photo © Alexius Jorgensen

A STATE OF NOT-KNOWING
Since every experience you know has taken the brain one second to manufacture, the origin of what you believe to experience right now is one second away (read more about that here). Therefore, if you go back one second from your present experience, you return to the nothingness the brain twisted into something you perceive to happen now.

However, your freedom from something may feel claustrophobic because you have nowhere to hide your emotions. Fortunately, this exposes them as nothing. Thus you enter a state of not-knowing. Since this is like falling into an unsubstantial body, you neither feel physical nor integrated with higher frequencies. Hence there is no need to label anything.

However, the brain goes on like before, producing experiences of something. But since what you believed in being cannot be recalled in a state of not-knowing, there is nobody to perceive the different experiences to make a difference. That is why you are in the bliss of nothing, thus nowhere, because the brain has not rendered it into something. There is nobody to be aware of this until you return to the conscious experience of being someone definitive, and vague memories pop up.

In other words, everything said in Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings about a state of not-knowing is based on Alexius’ memories. And though a state of not-knowing is impersonal, memories are personal, so Alexius’ memories may differ from yours – like two persons drinking the same tea may often remember it differently, although the tea is the same.

The brain feels it has failed when you do not make its fiction of something appear real by continuously sharing your reaction to it with someone, internally or externally. Therefore, if you have not verified the brain’s fabrication of nothing as something for 20 minutes, 45 at most, it gives up producing more experiences of you as someone. Hence you cannot return to the consciousness of being someone in a world of something, nor can you continue in the bliss of nothing since the fantasy about being someone is over.

In a state of not-knowing, your eyes may be closed or open. Perhaps you sit in a bus or a park, walk down a noisy street, talk a lot or are silent. Everything is normal, and thoughts go on as usual since what and where you appear to be is a construction of thoughts. There is one difference, though. But most likely, you leave a state of not-knowing a long time before the brain falls into a coma. And since you are returning to the consciousness of being someone definitive with a clean slate, you automatically serve the brain, thus everybody, because the brain has no personal preferences. Only in a world where there seems to be more than one, does there appear to be levels, so if you experience to be advancing through levels, the belief that there is more than that which is not being undone but enhanced.

Therefore, since this feels very satisfying, you do not need something specific but happily go with the duality flow (hack #4.4 The duality flow goes to non-duality) or take a break from duality into the bliss of nothing until the belief in being someone is undone.

The willingness to have that done is often initiated by admitting you are not willing to recognise what you believe in being is nothing. By acknowledging this, you agree that what you appear to be is make-believe and, therefore, not real. About willingness, see Willingness not to exclude but include undoes the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one.

You cannot bid welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One when you want to exist because it takes more than one to be alive. This does not mean you need to die. That alo calls for more than one.

Having glimpses of Enlightenment, you stick to one aspect of it at a time. So if you feel it, you do not try to see it. Yet, if visions of it start to take over, you go with that. Suppose you do not try to divide your vision into different shapes. In that case, you will not see patterns and colours in the visual glimpses of Enlightenment but one bright light. GLIMPSES OF ENLIGHTENMENT IN A STATE OF NOT-KNOWING:
In a state of not-knowing, you may have glimpses of Enlightenment. But they are not the Enlightenment of that which is One – just like a movie trailer is not the movie but glimpses of it.

The Enlightenment of that which is One cannot be experienced because it requires more than one to be aware of something. But you can see, hear, feel or taste glimpses of it. The glimpses are experienced with the inward-facing senses, so they do not blend in with the world of the outward-facing senses. Read more about that here.

In other words, the visual glimpses of Enlightenment do not lighten up a room. On the contrary, it makes it impossible to see it. And even though the ethereal harmonies are the most subtle polyphony of bell-like sounds, they do not mix with church bells or any other mundane sound. That is why you better block out glimpses of Enlightenment when driving a car or doing something else that calls for your focus in the world of the outward-facing senses.

Since we are used to perceiving experiences as they come from outside, we perceive glimpses of Enlightenment to come from inside or another world. But this is not so. Instead, glimpses of Enlightenment come from a gap in nothing, almost unprocessed by the brain. The experiences perceived to be outside of us also come from nothing. However, they are heavily processed by the brain, so they appear as something.

Anyway, if you remain in a state of not-knowing for more than 20 minutes, 45 at most, or forget to perceive the splashes of light in different shapes and colours or to differentiate the ethereal harmonies from each other, the glimpses of light or sound fuse into one light or sound. That is the Enlightenment of that which is One. It does not alter or transform anything, as that requires more than one. Instead, it wipes out everything that calls for more than one. Hence there is nobody to be aware that you graciously keep falling until emptied by oneness and thus nothing but that. The same applies if feeling or tasting glimpses of Enlightenment fuse into one feeling or taste. Read more about that in hack #6.1 The Enlightenment of that which is One.

Leaving a state of not-knowing before the Enlightenment of that which is One set in, you return to the fantasy of being someone in the world of the outward-facing senses with a clean slate, which you can read about in the following article.

HOW TO ENTER A STATE OF NOT-KNOWING:
Any duality hack, except the Enlightenment of that which is One, will eventually take you back one second to the emptiness from where the brain twists nothing into something. Thus you are no longer in the frustration of something but in the bliss of nothing. Above we have already talked about how to get there. Here are more ways.

When you feel speedy and restless, you use its uncontrolled energy to ignite a take-off to the empty breath (see hack #5.1 Uncontrolled speed leads to a state of not-knowing). But if you feel tired, pretending to be that is perhaps the better choice of a hack because what you pretend to be is not you (see hack #1.3 Pretending to be someone definitive is liberation).

If you tend to justify everything unpleasant with the world, perceiving everything as symbols of oneness could be the hack to apply. In this case, Alone together is also a good hack. Please be aware that the purpose of Alexius’ Duality Hacks is not to heal the body but the sick belief that you are in it. That said, the more this unhealthy belief is healed, the more the body is set free from your dominance. Hence the biological system is not blocked from repairing the body. Sometimes it may be helpful to kickstart this with nootropics for boosting the brain, Blackroll for relaxing the muscles, weightlifting for toning them and far-infrared heating pads for a deep bodily relaxation. If you try to return to a state of not-knowing by replicating the last one, you will not enter it because what you intend to replicate is memories, and contrary to a state of not-knowing they are perceived as something. If you use second-hand knowledge of how to get bliss, you become the special self, and since it is very serious about realising itself and a state of not-knowing is selfless, you will not enter it.

Getting into a state of not-knowing is as easy as told, but since we all are in the habit of looking for a solution in the experiences we perceive as something, we may get lost in them, thus feeling hopeless. No worries, there is so much energy in hopelessness that unedited it will ignite a take-off into the empty breath.

EPILOGUE:
The experience of you as someone in a tangible world only can only be exposed as a hallucination if you are willing to have the belief in being someone undone. Having that willingness, the undoing occurs when you keep reading Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings. Do not expect them to save you or give you something because it takes more than one to do so, and there is no more than that which is One since it is formless, thus endless. But as they, therefore, do not result in something but nothing, they automatically hack the belief in being something.

Hack #6.1 From the inward-facing senses through a black hole into that which is One does that once and all. The others hacks do it over time. They help you not to be special but basic, so you do not look for something extraordinary, thus having fun believing you are someone while having that belief undone.

NOTHING TWISTED INTO SOMETHING
It takes more than one to appear as someone, and there is no more than that which is One since it is formless, thus endless. Hence appearing as someone in a world where there seems to be more than one is a fantasy made from nothing, experienced by nobody.

That is not to say that oneness is nothing because it takes more than one to be anything. For the same reason, it is impossible to fantasise about more than one in oneness. Yet, it seems possible to sense more than one away from it. But since oneness is endless, there is nothing outside of it. Thus seeing something is a mirage. Maybe that is why science concludes that the world we believe in seeing consists of empty space.

Just like everything else sensed, the empty breath is invisible and colourless until the brain ascribes it to a specific shape and colour. But as the empty breath does not aspire to be something, the brain does not care to twist it into an object. Thus it remains invisible and colourless.

Not knowing what and where you are is the bliss of not believing to be someone

In the connectedness with the empty breath, the apparent difference between the opposing sides of the contrasts making up the experience of duality is cancelled out. Not in the sense that you do not register them anymore but that you do not perceive them to make a difference. THE BLISS OF NOTHING
Though science seems to know that the experience of something is made from nothing, thus make-believe, they explore the experiences as if they are real. However, in Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings, we expose that the experience of something is fabricated from nothing by the brain, so it appears to exist. The experiences only seem real when perceived as something. If not, they are exposed as nothing. The easiest way to not perceive them as something is to go back in time to the nothingness that the brain twists into your everyday experience of something.

Since it has taken the brain one second to fabricate your recent experience, it only takes one second to go back to the nothingness it has twisted into something, thus the bliss of nothing. That happens when you connect with the empty breath because it resides in nothing. Connecting with it is not about being deeper, purer or balanced. Being something is part of the experience of being someone, and the empty breath is not part of that but the nothingness that this experience is fabricated from.

In other words, you connect with the empty breath when you do not organise thoughts and feelings into something specific but instead step into the complete uncontrolled chaos of thoughts and feelings to ignite a take-off into the empty breath

WHAT AND WHERE ARE THE INWARD AND OUTWARD-FACING SENSES
What you see, hear, feel and taste in the world of the inward and outward-facing senses are based on the same sensory system. Thus their different names do not mean they differ from each other, physically speaking. But they are different ways of experiencing the same frequencies of nothingness that the brain twists into experiences that seem to prove you are authentic if they are perceived as something.

In the case of the inward-facing senses, the experience of its world is abstract because the brain has not yet processed the frequencies of nothingness to appear as physical elements outside you. Thus it feels as if the world is inside you. But in the world of the outward-facing senses, the brain has completed processing nothing into something, so you appear as someone definitive in a tangible world outside of you.

However, since it takes more than one to experience something, and since there is no more than oneness, any experience is an illusion, whether from the outward or inward-facing senses.

It takes nobody to know where the inner senses are


The abstract world of the inward-facing senses is experienced when time and space are not entirely considered real. Ultimately speaking, though, these experiences from the inward-facing senses are not more real than those via the outward-facing senses because any experience requires more than one, and there is no more than that which is One since it is formless, thus endless. Thus it is only in the context of the brain’s plot to deceive you into experiencing nothing as something that there is someone to experience an abstract world, lightly processed by the brain from the frequencies of nothingness and a substantial world, heavily processed by the brain from the same frequencies.

The abstract experiences of the inward-facing senses open up when you do not entirely believe in being someone definitive in the world of the outward-facing senses. But there is little left of this belief when you are in the world of the inward-facing senses. Otherwise, there would be nobody to experience the world of the inward-facing senses. In other words, when you appear to be nobody in the world of the inward-facing senses, you have not totally left the belief in being somebody. Nevertheless, you may initially feel scared by the abstractness of the inward-facing senses. But since this fear comes from the belief in being somebody and the empty breath undoes this belief, there is nothing to fear if you connect with it.

Not being someone specific feels as if you are nothing, which seems pretty discomforting until you realise that being empty, you are a vessel for the empty breath, which takes you into the high-frequency world of the inward-facing senses, where glimpses of Enlightenment become the base for experiencing the low-frequency world of the outward-facing senses. THE FEAR OF THE INWARD-FACING SENSES
You must constantly concentrate and focus on the world of outward-facing senses to make it appear real. It is the other way around in the world of the inward-facing senses. That is experienced when there is no effort to focus or concentrate.

As long as you intend to appear in a world where there seems to be more than one, it is best to multitask between the inward and outward-facing senses, so you can focus when needed and space out when nothing is required from you.

However, you can only do that if you are willing not to always give your full attention to the structured world of the outward-facing senses but also go with the unstructured flow of the inward-facing senses. That may not seem very comforting, but it is the other way around. In the world of the outward-facing senses, we are always afraid of not making it, whereas we have nothing to live up to in the world of the inward-facing senses.

But we cannot remain in this abstract world if we want to go on in a world defined by time and space. Fortunately, the empty breath is an automatic gear shift between the outward and inward-facing senses, so we go back and forth between them per our present situation.

Alexius connected with the empty breath when he, as a child, every night devoted himself to the whereabouts of the breath, thus going to sleep in the bliss of nothing. However, others were talking so much about becoming something higher, so the bliss of nothing seemed foolish to bring about.

Thus he hid the emptiness by pretending to be something until he started writing Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings in 2012. But it was not before writing HACK #5, A state of not-knowing is nothing but bliss, he named the way to the bliss of nothing as the empty breath.

THE EMPTY BREATH SYNCS THE INWARD AND OUTWARD-FACING SENSES
Even though you hide from the sun, it remains where it is – likewise, the empty breath. Therefore, if we once connected with it, even briefly, the empty breath remains with us. It does not know we do not feel connected because it is unaware that we believe we are separated beings in the low-frequency world of the outward-facing senses.

Yet, the empty breath senses the stress from this belief, so it synchs our discomfort with the high-frequency world of the inward-facing senses. It does not do it because this world is more peaceful than the world of the outward-facing senses. But because the stress in the low-frequency world of the outward-facing senses does not seem stressful in the high-frequency world of the inward-facing senses.

In other words, since the abstractness of the inward-facing senses syncs with the solidness of the outward-facing senses per what and where we appear to be, none of them seems to dominate. Actually, when synced, they do not look like something but nothing.

Connecting with the empty breath does not require meditation or other techniques based on exclusion, restraint and control. But neither does the connection require you to not be exclusive because if you stand by your unwillingness to be include everything unedited, the uncontrolled energy of suppression ignites a take-off to the empty breath.

But this does not work if you suppress the small involuntary movements brought about by small explosions of thoughts igniting mini take-offs into the empty breath, where you fall into place with the inward and outward-facing senses. Therefore, follow your present, electric-like, physical and mental impulses to get this synchronisation. For example, if the shoulders tighten up, be ready for mental relaxation when they fall. Or, if feeling sad, be prepared to feel physically good from a wholesome breath.

Sometimes, something more extreme is needed to make you realise the senses have been synced, like when Alexius as a child, returned to his home after school, ranged the doorbell with blood on the head, and said, Who am I? He had been involved in an accident and had no idea about what and where he was. That remained, although his parents thought he soon returned to normal. However, being like they expected was something he pretended as he always had done but was unaware of until now. You cannot help the empty breath with the synchronisation. Still, you can prevent yourself from interfering with it, for instance, by doing Nordic Walking for half an hour every day, using RENPHO Eye Massager with Heat Compression before going to sleep and sleeping with far-infrared heating pads.

It is essential to accept that although everything looks like before you were connected with the empty breath, nothing feels the same. At first, it may seem blander because the kicks from especially high experiences in the world of the outward-facing senses are gone. But when you realise that is because, in the connection with the empty breath, you do not split up the duality pairs in separate entities.

Therefore, since high is complemented by low, feeling high includes feeling down, and vice versa, so you feel complete regardless of going up or down. This literally feels like being the waves of the ocean, where you are neither up nor down but in the constant movement between opposites. See hack #4.4 The duality flow goes to non-duality.

There are many ways to appear in a world defined by time and space, but there is no way to leave it because you are not in it. Like within the context of such a world, a dreamer is not in their dream and, therefore, does not return to bed when the dream is over. APPENDIX
Since most resist being nobody, they are unwilling to undo the belief in being somebody. But if you acknowledge this, you confirm what you appear to be is make-believe. Thus you have the willingness to undo the belief in being somebody. See also Willingness not to exclude but include undoes the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one.

That does not mean you suddenly are gone, reborn or awakened. The story of Santa Claus does not change when you grow up. What changes is that we do not believe it is real anymore. However, there is one difference between the story of Santa Claus and the story of someone specific in a world defined by time and space. When the belief in the latter is undone or in the process of being it, you are not disappointed. Instead, you feel free to enjoy the story till it ends.

You can take breaks from the story by connecting with the empty breath, thus being in a state of not-knowing. And when not connected with the empty breath, it helps you live out the story by syncing the inward and outward-facing. It may not always be the experience that the empty breath is your best friend because it does not help you regarding what and where you like to be. It is difficult to explain the bliss of nothing that the empty breath entails because it comes from the absence of perceiving experiences as something.

When connected with the empty breath, what you seem to receive from the world is always the same because you receive what you give and give what you have, namely the indifference of the empty breath.

Feeling the connectedness with the empty breath, you cannot help but smile because, in the flow of the empty breath, you are indifferent to becoming and getting more.

Since the empty breath is indifferent to differences, being loved does not make a difference when connected with it. A

The function of the empty breath is not to improve the apparent condition of what and where you appear to be. That would be a replacement of one illusion with another. Instead, its function is to facilitate the undoing of the belief that what and where you appear to be is real.

Being connected with the empty breath, you are indifferent to the apparent differences in a world where there seems to be more than one – just like you are indifferent to the experienced differences in the world of a movie or a computer game because you know they are make-believe. Actually, the empty breath still takes care of you when you forget it. Of course. you cannot feel it as described in What does ‘the empty breath’ feel like?. But since it syncs the inward and outward-facing (read more about that here), you are indifferent to a specific interpretation of something, thus in the duality flow. It is impossible to leave oneness since it is formless, thus endless. Yet, it seems possible to imagine not being there but in a world where there seems to be more than one. In that context, the empty breath is a life jacket you got from oneness when you left it to be and have more than one.

The empty breath loves you unconditionally. Thus it is not bothered by what and where you believe to be. Actually, it does not even know this fantasy of being someone definitive. It can only be shared by those who want that. But the empty breath has no way of being or seeing something because it is nothing, thus seeing nothing.

That is why every experience of something is perceived as nothing being connected with the empty breath. Of course, this does not mean that you do not do anything about a broken leg, for example. But since it is seen as nothing, you do not add worries to your broken leg. Therefore, since changing or transforming something or somebody does not seem appealing, you have a laid-back life with the empty breath.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Taking deep breaths or, in any other way manipulating the breath is not beneficial for connecting with the empty breath because doing so enhances the belief in being in charge. The same applies to making yourself centred, balanced, focused or something else.

But the willingness not to hold back thoughts connects you with the empty breath because their uncontrolled energy ignites a take-off into it, whether you walk, sit, talk or whatnot. See Take-offs into the empty breath.

The more you limit yourself to being someone definitive, the more you feel like collapsing. To prevent that, you improve your definition until you feel so constrained that you burst into anger or stop giving a shit about holding yourself together. Thus the uncontrolled energy of the suppressed thoughts and feelings ignites a take-off into the empty breath. However, it does not help you escape your cage but the belief that you are in it.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

When you do not define what is going on so you can remain in the fantasy of being someone unique, unconfined thoughts or feelings repeatedly shoot off to ignite a take-off into the empty breath.

What you see on the screen are zeros and ones stored on a hard disk simulated as something on the screen. Yet, it is not before the combination of zeros and ones on the hard disk is processed by an app into the world that appears to be on the screen that the nothingness of the hard disk is experienced as a world that you can change.

The empty breath, which in this context is unprocessed zeros and ones, does not know that you assign special meaning to the nothingness on the screen, which in this context is the world, so you appear to be someone experiencing something instead of nothing.

All the empty breath knows is that there is no more than the formlessness of oneness. Thus all that it wants is to breathe emptiness into what you believe to be and see so that it does not seem to hide, there never was or will be more than that which is One since it is formless, thus endless.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

If the present stream of thoughts or feelings is not manipulated or suppressed, its natural energy ignites a take-off into the empty breath. You can make up stories of love or anything else in its presence without leaving the empty breath because it sees the world where you believe in being as a blank computer screen. So although the stories you fabricate seem to disclose something, the screen remains empty.

In other words, it does not matter how you perceive the experiences produced by the brain when you are with the empty breath. You do not need the happiness from being in sync with the brain. You are in the bliss of nothing until you define it as something.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

If something seems to bother you, use the frustration to ignite a take-off into the empty breath so you can see that what you judge as something terrible is nothing. See Take-offs into the empty breath.

Since that which is One cannot be experienced, it is ignored by those who believe that something unexplainable is unreal. At best, it is imagined as a state of consciousness in which the self has been transcended into a higher one. However, oneness has nothing to do with being somewhere or conscious of something because that requires more than one. So does being someone. The empty breath is not about getting healthier, more money, success, love or anything else, but seeing what you appear to be and have is nothing. Hence there does not appear to be something hiding the formlessness of oneness.

As you probably have read many times in Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings, it requires more than one to experience something. Therefore, since oneness is formless, thus endless, every experience is fictional. That also includes the experience of the empty breath. It is as unreal as any other experience.

Yet this experience, which is deeply rooted in an archetypical image of a never-ending rhythmic flow, slowly but surely undoes the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is One. Furthermore, it makes it seems unproblematic to have this belief. Not in the sense that you are not troubled by anything but indifferent to it.

If this feels confusing, do not try to figure it out. But go with the chaos flow until you cannot make ends meet and feel as if you are about to explode, which in a sense also happens when the build-up tensions ignite a take-off into the empty breath. It results in a state of not-knowing, so you are not bound up with the belief in being someone definitive until you leave this state and return to that belief.

Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings gladly proclaim they are nothing. So when connecting with the empty breath, there is nothing to perceive the present moment as something. Returning to that which is one is not a matter of going anywhere. Oneness is formless, thus endless, so it is impossible to leave it. Unfortunately, it seems possible to believe it is possible. Though the empty breath has no need to be remembered by you, it is beneficial to remember it now and then. It makes you feel better believing in being someone definitive until the empty breath undoes this belief.

A state of not-knowing does not only come from the empty breath. It is the outcome of all duality hacks. But if the state always is the same cannot be known because nobody is conscious of it.

The changeover to a state of not-knowing may seem unpleasant. That is because the brain tries to distract you from leaving its definable world by producing very tangible and disturbing experiences, making you feel attacked as someone definitive. See also Stories about inclusion.

Following the empty breath, you automatically multitask because it does not know the concept of focusing on something specific. So when you do not feel the empty breath, multitasking makes you feel it.

Entering a state of not-knowing (see A state of not-knowing, how to get there) only takes a second. It happens automatically when you have lost all hope of fixing your problems because that makes the uncontrolled energy of your worries ignite a take-off into the empty breath. When you leave a state of not-knowing, the slate has been wiped clean (see The after-effect of a state of not-knowing). Therefore, since you perceive everything as ‘it is what it is‘ (see hack #4.2 The brain’s script and how to perceive it to feel happy), you have nothing to hope for. Thus, you are free.

What does ‘the empty breath’ feel like?

The inner breath is not restricted to be felt as a specific form, neither to only be felt inside. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Since the empty breath is not definitive, it cannot be experienced in a specific way. But it can be felt in undefinable ways anywhere within its non-definitive framework – whether that appears to be inside or outside the body – but never consistently the same, although it is always there.

You can feel the empty breath in many ways within its non-definable frame of a ball-like thing. Its top passes through the head – or above it – and the bottom through the stomach or below it. It is not explicitly experienced inside or outside the body, so it is not an out-of-body experience. Besides, such an experience is based on the belief in being someone in a body, and the empty breath undoes that idea, wherefore it is a no-body experience. However, that does not mean you do not take care of the body and the world around it when connected with the empty breath, but that you are indifferent to the outcome.

In the connectedness with the empty breath there is nothing that appears disturbing. But trying to connect with it everything seems disturbing, because the purpose of trying to do something is to delay doing it.

The inner breath has no definitive center or anything else in a fixed position, so your experience of it may be different from mine. Maybe you primarily experience it in the stomach, in the chest or both inside and outside of your body within the non definitive borders of a ball. It may change from moment to moment, as  – unlike this image – it is not static. This image however illustrates when all its movements are experienced simultaneously, which feels as if the everything stands still.

The empty breath has no definitive centre or border, nor is anything else fixed. Everything is constantly moving, so the experience changes from moment to moment. Maybe it is felt in the stomach or chest or outside the body. Should your experience differ from Alexius’ description, go with the flow as it comes to you.

FEELINGS ARE SUBJECTIVE
If you are future-minded, you might experience the empty breath coming from in front of you, whereas it probably is felt to arrive from the back if you are concerned about the past. And if you are into the concepts like living in the now, being centred and balanced, it might feel like it has a centre. In other words, the experience of the empty breath is coloured by your conditioning.

That is not a problem for the empty breath because, contrary to you, it does not need to be acknowledged in a particular way. So whether you experience it in the stomach, the chest, or outside the body, it carries out its purpose, which is to make you indifferent to your experiences.

The empty breath is indifferent to all the apparent differences of the world, so the more you connect with it, the more you adapt to its indifference and the less you want to be someone who makes a difference.

Since the empty breath is not static, its experience may quickly change and differ from those described in this article. No worries. Connecting with it is not about doing something specific to feel something definitive but going with the flow. You only feel obliged to do ‘the right thing’ when you want to make a difference.

I am not a talented illustrator, so instead of making an illustration of the inner breath, I have manipulated an image found on the internet in order to give you an idea of the simultaneously movements inside it.

A BASIC INTRO TO THE NON-DEFINITIVE SHAPE OF THE THE EMPTY BREATH
The empty breath is modelled like an egg-shaped ball with oval circles moving inside it. But contrary to what you see in the illustration to the right, it does not have a definitive centre or border. Nor do the circles inside it. They are countless, and all of them have two waves shaped like a yin-yang sign inside them. You cannot see the waves inside the circles in the simplified illustration to the right. But in the second image from here, there is a sample of two waves inside one of the circles.

That the empty breath has a non-definitive form does not only mean its edge is blurry but that neither size nor shape is constant. It may get bigger and smaller here and there, so it momentarily feels more pear-shaped than egg-shaped. It has no up and down, and the apparent centre of each circle inside the non-definitive ball of the empty breath is floating. Hence there are many non-fixed centres.

The innumerable amount of diffused shaped circles inside the non-definitive boundary of the empty breath is located vertically and horizontally, plus in between, with each of them having yin-yang-shaped waves inside them. There is an illustration of the yin-yang-shaped waves inside one of the circles in the below paragraph SURFING THE EMPTY BREATH. But the circles are actually fused into one yin-yang-shaped movement rolling in all directions – a bit like in the animation in the paragraph The swing of the empty breath or the two last animations of this article.

However, since that is very difficult to comprehend in a world where we are conditioned to divide reality into more than one, most do not feel the totality of the empty breath but one of the many circles inside it. No worries. It is not about perfection but going with the flow as it comes to you.

The empty breath has no specific centre, and though it seems to consist of an endless amount of circles in various movements, everything is fused into one single move. But since this is hard to comprehend in a world where there seems to be more than one, you may find it easier to experience one of its aspects at a time.

Maybe the flow is in a circle going vertically from the stomach around the back of the body to the top of the head when breathing in, and from there, in a circular movement in front of the body and back to the stomach when breathing out. The direction, however, does not matter. As already said, it is about going with the flow, so follow it wherever it goes.

But the flow can also be in a circle, about the same diameter as above, that goes from the abdomen to the throat or rectum to the heart. And the circle can also expand its diameter, so it goes from the abdomen to a point above the head or from the rectum further above the head. Since the latter circle metaphorically goes from hell to heaven, you may feel frightened or spaced out if you get stuck in one of those extremes. See hack #4.4 The duality flow goes to non-duality.

These are just samples. You may experience the circle bigger or smaller, for example from the heart to a point above the head. Or perhaps you feel it somewhere else, for example from the left to the right side of you or anywhere between this and the location mentioned above. You could also feel it horizontally. But no matter where you perceive the empty breath, it is the same emptiness you encounter a second before the brain has finished processing it into an experience of something perceived as substantial (read more about that here).

Below is a short introduction to some ways of feeling the empty breath, then a more detailed description. Be aware that feeling the empty breath, as described in this article, is only possible to the extent that you do not wish to be or have more because the empty breath has nothing to give but the sheer bliss of emptiness.

A BASIC INTRO TO WAYS OF FEELING THE EMPTY BREATH
Sensing the operator of the empty breath (see the below) or the indifference of it (see The indifference of the empty breath wash out conditioning) is a state of not-knowing in which you seem to float on clouds of bliss. In contrast, the state of not-knowing coming from the rhythmic flow of the empty breath is more like being moved by clouds of bliss.

The rhythmic flow can be heard as a distant sound or felt inside the body (see below). It can also be sensed as if nobody is surfing two yin-yang-like waves in and outside the body (see the next paragraph).

These categories are not meant to limit you to experiencing the empty breath like that but to inspire you to go with the flow.

Each of the non-definable circles inside the cloudy ball of the empty breath – see the previous illustration – consists of two free-flowing yin-yang-like-looking waves (without holes). They govern the physical breath, so it is not about following the extraction and contraction of the physical breath but the flow of the empty breath. It may feel like you are surfing two yin-yang-like waves, more or less in sync with the physical breath. The colours in this image only have an illustrative purpose.

SURFING THE EMPTY BREATH
You see a simplified simulation of the empty breath in the illustration with the red circles pictured above to the right. You cannot see that the number of circles inside it is endless. Nor does the drawing reflect that the empty breath has no definitive border or centre, and each circle inside it contains two non-definitive waves you can surf. The waves look like a yin-yang sign without holes (see the above image). They are colourless, so the colours in this image and the others in the article only have an illustrative purpose.

When the breath expands the body, you surf the outside of the yellow wave vertically from the stomach and behind the body up into the head. From there, you surf the outside of the blue wave in front of the body down to the stomach while the breath is contracting the body. That is, if you are sensing the waves in a circle going vertically from the back to the front of the body. But, as mentioned above, the direction does not matter, and the circle can be smaller and bigger. Besides surfing the two yin-yang-like waves in a vertical circle, you can surf the waves in a horizontal circle or anywhere between.

No need to be in total sync with the rhythm of the physical expansion and contraction of the body, nor does it matter if part of the circular movement is skipped. What matters is you follow the flow as it comes to you. By doing that, you forget the physical breath. Hence it can take care of itself without you trying to inflict it with ideas of wholeness, balance and whatnot.

Maybe the most ecstatic way to surf the waves is to go the whole way around one of them and then continue by going the entire way around the other, more or less aligned with the breath extracting and contracting the body. However, many other joyous ways are probably revealed when you go with the flow.

Alexius has never been surfing in the world of the outward-facing senses, so when he says going with the flow of the two yin-yang like waves in a circle inside the empty breath feels like surfing, it is something he imagines based on pictures.

As already said, you can surf the waves of the empty breath in both directions. Going counterclockwise tends to lessen physical awareness, so you become less interested in returning to the conscious experience of being someone substantial in a tangible world. The same applies if the non-definable edges of the empty breath are not experienced to pass through the head but on top of it and below the abdomen.

That sets the body free, so it can follow its biological system without you trying to integrate it with mental ideas of wellness, which is like trying to blend the material world with the immaterial world of a dream or vice versa. It does not work. Read more about that in hack #4.3 The toxic mix of physical and non-physical issues. However, you can surf the waves in the empty breath to ease pain in the back, for example. See the appendix at the bottom.

Since it takes more than one to feel something, it is only in a world where there seems to be more than one it is possible to do that. Therefore, the more the belief in such a world is undone by the empty breath, the less you feel it.

It is impossible to illustrate the swing of the empty breath because it has no definable form or movement. Nevertheless, this animation may give you an idea. The swing of the empty breath is generated from the blurred curved line between two yin-yang-like waves in one of the circles inside the empty breath. In this case, you do not surf the waves but follow the swing of the curved line, which is less curved but energetically expands and contracts the body so that it breathes in and out. Depending on where the circle is experienced, the swing of the empty breath is experienced to go upwards and downwards, sideways, forwards and backwards or anywhere in between. But even though going with the swing of it is magnificent, it is often a laid-back experience of expansion and contraction.

THE SWING OF THE EMPTY BREATH
You surf the empty breath on the waves in any of the circles within the non-definitive border of the empty breath, whereas you feel the swing of the empty breath from the movement of the non-definitive curved line between the two yin-yang-like waves in any of the circles (see the illustration to the left). It extracts and contracts the body in a steady rhythmic flow of breathing in and out. Perhaps due to the definitive size of the body, this line feels less curved and probably also shorter than the line between the two waves described above.

The steady swing of the empty breath extracts and contracts the body in a steady rhythmic flow of breathing in and out. This may seem slower than when you imagined being in charge of the breath. And the break in between expansion and contraction may feel too long. Nevertheless, the swing of the empty breath probably feels more powerful – so much indeed that it feels like the body does not have enough room for it at first.

The curved line is not just pumping from the back to front concerning the body but also up and down, from side to side and everywhere in between, which you may sense in the illustration to the left. Though you can feel all these directions simultaneously, it probably is so unfamiliar that you may prefer to feel the swing of the empty breath in one vertical circle at a time.

The circles with the swing of the empty breath are more egg-shaped (see the illustration to the left). But you will not notice that because it is only the swing of the curved line inside ‘the egg’ that you feel, probably in a way that does not seem logical. For example, breathing in, you may solely experience the swing of the empty breath at the bottom of ‘the egg’ and breathing out at the top of it – or the other way around, or only in the bottom, or the top. You can also experience the curved line going back and forth or up and down simultaneously.

Like the other ways of feeling the empty breath, it presupposes you acknowledge you are not in charge. Using the technique for the taste of life, you automatically lose control because, whether you taste it or not, the method is beneficial for defocusing. And without focus, you are out of control. If you experience the swing of the empty breath in all the egg-shaped circles simultaneously, their fusion initially feels as if everything is spinning. See the speedy animation just below. But it quickly becomes a feeling of everything standing so still that you feel the bliss of being indifferent to what and where you appear to be.

Connecting to the inner breath is fortunately not about perfection, as that requires much control and therefore blocks the inner breath to move on its own accord. The inner breath is always connected to you, but you cannot feel it if your purpose is to be someone definitive. In other words not being anybody the inner breath is not hidden. In fact it is very intense.

The swing of the empty breath is not felt as fast as the movements in this animation but rather like a steady ongoing rhythm with much force that expands and contracts the body. Yet the resulting breath in the body is often very subtle. It probably seems slower than you are used to – unlike the operator of the empty breath, which is a rush of energy within the non-definable ball. Even though the particles of this force are moving completely unstructured and at any speed, fast or slow – a bit like in this animation – it is such a relief to merge with this apparent chaos because that prevents you from focussing on anything specific. Hence you feel like a fountain of sparkling joy.

THE OPERATOR OF THE EMPTY BREATH
Besides feeling the swing of the empty breath or as if surfing yin-yang-like waves more or less in alignment with the extraction and contraction of the physical breath, you can also feel a constant rush of energy within the non-definable border of the empty breath. This chaotic energy is not rhythmic but irregular at the root of the empty breath. Yet, it is the force behind the constant rhythm of the empty breath. The feeling is a subtle sense of being here and everywhere, or as if spinning through a world with no limits, undefined as someone.

There are no rules, but it could very well be that a take-off into the empty breath will take you to the operator of the empty breath – and what a relief it is to float in chaos instead of having to fit into the rigid world of the outward-facing senses.

Unlike the swing of the empty breath, but like surfing its waves, the operator of the empty breath is sensed inside and outside the body – or rather like there is no inside and outside. If you do not try to catch the abstractness of this, you feel like a fountain of sparkling joy. Sometimes this is easier to recognise outside if you start the body, where the dense bodily feeling is not an obstacle. You will automatically be taken inside, as the operator does not know one from the other. And from there, you may start surfing the empty breath, feel the swing of it or hear its transparent sound (see the next paragraph).

THE TRANSPARENT SOUND OF THE EMPTY BREATH
Just like the rhythm of bass is heard and felt in the body, so is the sound of the empty breath, which is like ‘so’ when it expands and ‘ham’ when it contracts.

Sometimes it is like this rhythmic sound of ‘so-ham’ comes from the nose, but at other times, it is sensed from an undefined space in the back of the head. And then again, since the sound does not seem to have a definable location, it is neither experienced to be inside nor outside the head. It may even appear to originate from an invisible space outside the body that has nothing to do with the body.

In other words, feeling the sound of the empty breath is not a compelling experience because it cancels out the notion of being in a body – as if there is no definable border between the body and its apparent surrounding. For example, a sofa does not seem to differ from the body sitting in it when deeply connected with the empty breath (read more about that here). Consequently, since there is no inside and outside, there is nothing to define a world where there seems to be more than one, wherefore it is seen as unreal.

But like the set-up in the world of a game is the same whether you know it is fictional, a world where there seems to be more than one remains the same even though you sense it is an illusion. However, your relationship with it changes. Being there is pretence – like it is, within that reality, when you pretend to be in the world of a game. Do not get attached to the rhythm of the empty breath, because the feeling of the rhythm is related to the body, so it stops when the body does not function anymore.

Since a rhythm has a beginning and an end, it is best not to get attached to the rhythm of the empty breath, because it ends when the body stops to function. At that moment, it is better to merge with the indifference of the empty breath or the non rhythmic and very chaotic energy in its operator, so there is not something specific to stop the Enlightenment of that which is One from absorbing the nothingness of you.

Via the transparent sound of the empty breath, you naturally float into glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One. The visual-minded will experience them as visions of light, and the auditory-minded as ethereal harmonies. However, if you are more emotional-minded, you may feel the vibration that Aum, Sohang, and The Word of God symbolise or taste its sweetness.

The connection with the empty breath is a state of not-knowing. Therefore, since there is no notion of separation, the apparent difference between past, now and future or you and Alexius makes no difference.

It is not possible to illustrate the inner breath in its totality. This yon yang animation (please abstract from the holes) though may give you an idea of the simultaneously movement of the two waves inside the inner breath.

It is not possible to illustrate the empty breath in its totality. But this yin-yang animation (please ignore the holes in the waves and imagine it is completely full of yin-yang-like waves) may give you an idea about the simultaneous movement of the waves inside it.

THE CONNECTEDNESS WITH THE EMPTY BREATH IS A STATE OF NOT-KNOWING
Nobody knows what the connectedness with the empty breath feels like because it is a state of not-knowing. So Alexius had to go back and forth between a state of not-knowing and the conscious experience of being someone to compile distant memories of how the empty breath feels. Hence, his writing about it may seem patchy and confusing. If so, do not try to correct your disorientation but use it to ignite a take-off into the empty breath. The empty breath has no specific border, so if you experience it somewhere else, you have really become indifferent to the belief in being someone definitive because only as such would you expect to experience it somewhere specific.

Please remember that even though the connectedness with the empty breath is impersonal, your memory of it is personal. Therefore, you may not remember it as Alexius.

If you are still confused, you are welcome to mail Alexius, although using your uncertainty to ignite a take-off into the empty breath is preferable because he can help neither you nor himself, as he sees nobody in need of help.

Thus, you are better off reading about it until you can hardly stay awake. Then go to bed, forget what you read, close your eyes, and most likely sense the empty breath. Indeed, the feeling will rapidly change. That is, if you do not try to hang onto one of them. In that case, the connection is broken.

However, your eyes do not have to be closed, and you do not have to go to bed to connect with the empty breath. Besides, you can sit anywhere in any position. You can also walk, run or talk. But you cannot bring about the empty breath by manipulating the physical breath or exercising any other form of control. Instead, it is the other way around. When you go with the flow, the empty breath joins you.

A bicycle has nothing to do with the place, it is transporting you to.

That is not to say that techniques cannot help you with toning down the experience of being someone definitive so that your apparent existence in a tangible world is exposed as make-believe. But unfortunately, most forget that techniques have nothing to do with what they seem to accomplish. Just like the remote control, have nothing to do with the music it triggers.

Just like what you believe in being is nothing, so is the empty breath. But unlike you, it has no need to conceal its nothingness by appearing as something specific. Consequently, there is not something that prevents it from being what and where is most beneficial for you – even under your feet if that is what it takes to make you see you are a fantasy made from nothing.

APPENDIX: SURFING THE EMPTY BREATH TO HEAL YOUR PROBLEMS 
Alexius usually join the flow of the empty breath without thinking about direction and whatnot because, in his case, it primarily results in the sense of indifference. However, it is possible to be pickier. For example, if you worry about a strange pain in the back, you have it massaged by continuously surfing the whole wave behind you but not the wave in front of you in a vertical circle. Should you want to be grounded, you surf the waves in a horizontal circle, passing through the abdomen or even lower.

Suppose you want to enhance being impulsive. In that case, you surf all the way around the wave to the right inside a horizontal circle going around the head. If you want to be more calculated, you surf the left wave instead.

In a circle that also is horizontal but around the chest, you can surf all the way around a wave in front of the chest to ease the restricted feeling caused by imagined emotions there. Surfing both waves in a horizontal circle around the head or stomach is excellent in the case of vertigo.

Sometimes problems like spasms are the body’s way of shaking parts into a position that benefits the whole. In such cases, spasms should not be healed, of course. But if that is not the case, you can use the empty breath to calm down the spasms.

Should you have tight hips, a blocked abdomen or spasms in the lower back, you surf the whole wave behind you and then the one in front of you in a horizontal circle in that area. You could also try surfing in a similar circle where the waves are not behind and in front of you but on your sides. The circle size, thus the waves, adjusts to the need for relaxing these areas.

The empty breath is also beneficial for alleviating allergy symptoms or the symptoms of IBS and COPD, for example. However, it may not heal these or the aforementioned physical sicknesses because Alexius’ Duality Hacks aims not to heal the body but the sick belief that someone is in it. Read more about that here. But since that frees the body from your domination, it can often heal itself. That said, if you want that, it is best not to use the empty breath but instead be used by it and trust that it gives you what is in your best interest.

The look of these sound waves reminds me in some ways of how it feels to be connected with the inner breath.

How to ignite a take-off into ‘the empty breath’

When not trying to make sense of this image but going with its absurdity, the free-flowing energy of the experience spontaneously ignites a take-off into the empty breath and its bliss of emptiness, provided there is a willingness to forget what you believe in being. As soon as you have had enough of the frustration coming from keeping together a fantastic image of yourself and you do not try to edit or transform your feeling of desperation, the raw energy automatically ignites a take-off into the empty breath. Since it resides in nothing and your current experience of something is processed by the brain from what it imagined seeing in nothing one second ago (read more about that here), the take-off into the empty breath only takes one second.

In other words, when you connect with the empty breath, you go back one second in linear time to the nothingness the brain twisted into your present experience of something. But perceiving that with the empty breath, it is not seen as something, thus not confirming you as someone. Hence you are in the bliss of nothing.

In linear time, though, this may take a few more seconds or even years because, out of reflex, you probably fight off the nothingness of the empty breath by forcing the physical breath through your body to feel it is something real. But when you stop fighting the empty breath, it passes what you believe is something in the body as nothing.

That said, the function of the empty breath is not to heal the body but the sick belief that you are in it. So although it may heal the painful areas of the body by approaching them where they were made, namely nowhere, it is not the priority of the empty breath. However, that does not mean the body should not be taken care of while you believe in being there. See hack #4.3 The toxic mix of physical and non-physical issues.

What you believe in being is nothing twisted into something by the brain. In the presence of the empty breath, which is nothing unprocessed by the brain, you become indifferent to the brain’s experiences of something. Therefore, since there is not something to define you as someone, you are in a state of not-knowing. The animation is grabbed from the web.

Despite the empty breath being nothing, it is experienced like something in a world where everything is expected to be felt. For example, like moving yin-yang-like waves that you surf, being everywhere and nowhere in the sound of it, joyfully moving with the swing of it, or being still in the abstractness behind its rhythmic flow. Although it probably was unaltered speed and chaos that connected you with the empty breath, it is not a speedy or chaotic affair being connected. Think of being high up in the sky in an aeroplane. Although speed ignites the take-off and must be maintained to keep you in the air, it is not the speed you feel up there but a relaxed experience of floating in the air.

Regarding speed, whether connected with the empty breath or not, we are always moving extremely fast because the Earth, thus also us, is spinning at 1.000 miles an hour, and the entire planet is hurtling around the sun at 67.000 miles an hour. However, maintaining a definitive perception of ourselves, we do not feel this movement, thus unable to use the speed to ignite a take-off into the empty breath. Hence hack #5.1 Uncontrolled speed leads to a state of not-knowing mostly uses our suppressed energy for take-off into the empty breath.

Let us imagine, you cover your eyes with your hand, so you can daydream about being in a world that revolves around you without being disturbed by the world outside of you. Though it feels great to be in a fantasy where everything turns out the way you want, it also feels strange to be cut off from the actual world.

So when you want to see the world as it is and not as you imagine it should be, and you sense it is your own hand that stops you from seeing reality, you automatically remove it. In other words, the built-up frustration of not seeing what is real and the realisation that your own hand hides it, makes you remove the obstacle so you can see the world as it is.

You may not only sense the bare feet that have made the footprints in this photo but also the body you imagine they belong to. Yet there are no feet or body in the image, and nobody makes footprints like those. Hence what you sense is a fantasy. Read more about that here. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

HAVING HAD ENOUGH IGNITES A TAKE-OFF INTO THE EMPTY BREATH
The above box resembles how a take-off into the empty breath is ignited. The perception of your experiences as something hides that they are a fantasy made from nothing. This perception is to be compared to the hand in the above box. The hand is made from selected thoughts organised into a spiritual or mundane vocabulary that you share with like-minded ones to establish you are real and not a fantasy of the brain. Read more about that here.

When you have had enough of the confusion that this vocabulary entails, you loosen the grip on the selected thoughts, making it up. Thus you start to see that being someone is a daydream. And when you are fed up with living a fantasy, your frustration ignites a take-off into the empty breath. In its emptiness, you are still in the world of something. However, since the experiences of something are perceived as nothing, you are not attributed with a specific meaning, thus in a state of not-knowing, and unaware of the bliss that comes from nothing.

The empty breath cannot be experienced as something definitive because it resides in the nothingness, unprocessed by the brain. Hence you do not notice it if you want to experience something specific.

That is until you return from a state of not-knowing to the conscious of being somebody, and blissful memories of nothing pop up. This does not mean you consider yourself unique. On the contrary, the slate has been wiped clean in a state of not-knowing, so you are the basic self you always were meant to be, thus feeling satisfied. The connectedness with the empty breath does not come from meditating, chanting, or any other self-control technique because control enhances the belief in being someone definitive. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

This satisfaction does not come from something in particular but from being true to your nature (see hack #4.2 The brain’s script and how to perceive it to feel happy). Therefore, since there is no need always to look for something specific to make you happy, now and then, there does not appear to be something hiding the bliss of nothing. In other words, you automatically go back and forth between a state of not-knowing and the conscious experience of being someone. See also Going everywhere and nowhere with the empty breath.

Are you confused about how to connect with the empty breath? If so, do not try to clear up the turmoil but go with its unedited energy to ignite a take-off into the empty breath. But be aware that you will never get to know how to connect with the empty breath. It is not something but nothing, and you cannot learn how to connect with nothing. But if you forget what you know, you do not need to connect with it because there does not appear to be something hiding that you are nothing.

AN EMOTIONAL EXPLOSION
The empty breath is often ignited by an emotional issue where two opposing elements accelerate so much that they suddenly meet at incredible speed. Therefore, the empty breath is revealed since they explode and cancel out each other. But since it is nothing, the revelation is not a physical sensation. Instead, perhaps like having a transparent body shivering with joy. The connection with the empty breath does not solve physical problems, only psychological ones. But if you have projected psychological issues onto the body, they are no longer experienced to disturb it. Hence the body might appear lighter.

THE PURPOSE OF ALEXIUS’ DUALITY HACKS
There is no reason to diligently learn all the duality hacks for undoing the belief in being someone definitive. None of them is a goal in themselves – nor do they lead to the target. There is no destination because you are already there.

Hence the purpose of applying one or more of Alexius’ Duality Hacks is not to return to that which is One but to expose the belief that seems to hide it, namely that it is possible to be and have more than that which is One.

Being special and depressed, or basic and happy, or nobody and blissful

The special self wants to make selected ones feel unique, so they depend on it to be appreciated.

The special self is always looking for errors in its personality to correct them, thus appearing in control. But the basic self does not consider itself in charge of anything. Instead, it sees itself as a servant of everything because it adjusts to the flow of thoughts coming from the brain, which does not know about personal preferences but what is in the best interest of the whole.

Thinking you are in control, you are under enormous pressure. You must always look for thoughts that can be used to compose a perception of your experiences to prove that you, not the brain, are in control.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

You hit the buttons on the remote control to get specific channels on the TV. It is not difficult, so it does not establish you as essential. But if you imagine you are the master of buttons, you appear more important, although what is in the movie you may get is beyond your influence.

As you can see, being the special self is not about what you do but the thoughts concerning it. Especially thoughts in the category of master and servant – like when you think you master the remote control, your coffee machine, children or pets. Or if you have a boss that puts you down, but you still seem to be on top of it by thinking, you could do it much better.

The special self always finds something about others that it judges as wrong. Hence they become the imperfect background for its perfection.

When the special self perceives to fail, it takes on being secondary. Thus the failure does not seem to have been caused by itself but by somebody else.

When a ball is coming your way, it´s a natural reflex to respond and following such reflexes is pure fun.

Sometimes a doctor may check the function of a body by knocking on special points to see if the involuntary movements work. But everything you think that you do voluntarily is automatic. If you believe in being in control, you have worked hard to perceive the body’s activity as generated by you.

To fabricate this perception, you suppress your reaction to the reflexes that do not fit into your idea of calling the shots. Thus you become a person who seems to do everything by your own choice. And others appear to be doing things against or for you by their choice. However, keeping up this impression is hard because you always have to hide that the brain administers everything you do.

Therefore, not hiding that but gladly serving the brain, you are following your nature, thus feeling free.

The basic self’s perception is in sync with the stream of thoughts coming from the brain. Therefore, since feeling the flow of happiness, it does not need to be or achieve something special to feel good. But the special self is out of sync with the flow, so it does not feel its happy vibe. Instead, it tries to create it by looking for special moments in the past to replicate in the present to feel special.

If the special self discovers that others have interpreted something it did as wrong, it avoids feeling guilty by shouting, »Look what you made me do.«

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The experiences the brain produces to make you feel like someone can, in many ways, be compared to the news that Facebook generates for you. Based on the info Facebook has gathered about you, it collects what its artificial intelligence predicts you wish to see, regardless it is fake or not. However, unlike Facebook, the brain has all your info, so the experiences you get from it are based on you. Thus what you experience is what you are. That cannot be altered – only your perception of it.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

A world defined by time and space is a construction of thoughts compiled by the brain. But since it cannot manifest its fabrication, it has made a self that feels the experiences it produces, so it seems to confirm a world defined by time and space is real, which in return seems to prove the self is a substantial being in a tangible world. In other words, what and where you believe in being is a brain fantasy. Consequently, there is nothing real to confirm the brain’s existence, wherefore nothing is making the fantasy of you as someone in a world defined by time and space – just like nobody is making a dream and nobody is in it.

The special self avoids being part of the whole. Instead, it concentrates on those elements which it can manipulate into admiring it for being unique. Those the special self cannot control, it claims, are dominating. It does all that to escape its self-hatred. When not succeeding, the special self considers letting go of something because that reestablishes it as in control of itself.

Again and again, the special self likes to show off as if it has invaluable insights from extraordinary experiences that can help others get better. However, it is as impossible as helping someone in a dream. Therefore, the special self pieces together an interpretation of its interaction with others that, in retrospect, establishes itself as someone who has helped them get better.

Though it may not succeed in manipulating others into believing this, it often succeeds in convincing at least one person by making that person feel so wanted and loved that it thinks it cannot live without the one making it feel that.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The special self needs to be part of something important, not to feel alone. Thus it checks all notifications on Facebook and makes sure to like what its friends write so that it will like it and be liked by them, and they all are confirmed to be together in a group of extraordinary people. That is, if you believe there is something in cyberspace.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

You cannot escape the hell of the self-discipline required to uphold the perception of being special if you are afraid of losing something. And this you are, as long as you believe to be and have something special.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

If somebody triggers an old feeling of rejection in the special self, it first interprets it as an attack. Next, it justifies feeling rejected by the attack. Therefore, since the feeling seems to originate in the attacker, the special self concludes the feeling does not come from itself. If the perceived attacker exposes this self-deception, the special self points out something from the past to make the attacker feel guilty. Thus the special self is off the hook and can rest assured that it is loved and the attacker is not.

If you justify your unpleasant emotions with something judged as flawed in the world, those feelings are buried in a mental drama of fairness. For example, when you feel angry, it is obscured by the sad story you keep telling about the world to establish you are unfairly treated by it. Hence feeling angry has been removed from your awareness and replaced by a mental concept of being mistreated. This spin also hides, you fear the world will get back at you for blaming it for your negative emotions.

However, this is too shameful to admit. So to save face when you feel attacked by the world, you repeat the story of being unfairly treated to prove you are innocent. But to uphold your innocence, you must continuously suppress feeling selfish, greed, anger and envy, which you do by changing the focus from yourself to others. You keep it at them by pointing out these attributes in them in a way you instinctively know they are ashamed of. You are very good at that, and your friends know it. Nevertheless, they do not expose you because they also look for someone to attack, so they feel off the hook. That is why they recognise it in you.

To hide that you and like-minded ones hate everybody, you meet in special groups where you hug and share in a collectively agreed way of being united. Yet, it is not feelings of love but the wish to hide they hate each other that connects them. Naturally, nobody wants to acknowledge this, least of all do they want to talk about it in the group because if you do not censor yourself to speak and act within the language of love established by the group, or its mentor, you are expelled. And then there is nowhere to go to find relief from your despair.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

You do not appear in a physical world to learn something. Everything you encounter is made from empty space. The only purpose of your experiences, including those interpreted as spiritual and as you as someone, is to feel entertained by nothing. Read more about that here.

To prevent the image of the special self from cracking, it is crucial not to feel one’s emotions. Therefore, since the special self suppresses them, it becomes so numb that it cannot feel anything. It is the counterpart of a feeling that defines it. For example, hate defines love. Consequently, you must sense your hatred to feel love. But since the special self excludes the unpleasant part of a duality pair, it has no hatred to define feeling love. Therefore, since it does not know what love is, it reckons it feels love when it meets somebody whose psyche or body complies with its ideas of perfection.

Fortunately, this mistake is easily corrected by perceiving the perceived feeling of love as ‘it is what it is.’ That reveals love is coupled with hate and constantly interacting to define each other. Going with this twofoldness, you have a genuine feeling of love regardless of expectations being met.

Nobody is unjustly treated in the brain’s script. It is all about being entertained by duality, which you are when perceiving your reaction to your experiences as it is what it is’ because that reveals your response is twofold. And since you are in a world of duality, this makes you feel complete

Should you have conditioned yourself to feel relaxed when you hear a specific kind of music, you find yourself in a story where you know you are supposed to feel relaxed every time you hear this music. In other words, what you believe in feeling is a product of your story. And as most of what you believe in feeling rests on stories, you are hardly ever in touch with your emotions but with how you have conditioned yourself to respond to something. That suits the special self very well. It does not want to experience genuine feelings but how it is supposed to feel them when being what it imagines it is.

Even though waves have different lengths of life and may look like they differ, they all consist of water. Therefore, as they all contain the same, none of them has something that can make them more special than the others.

If you, in your part of the world, are supposed to feel disrespected when someone is more than 15 minutes late for a meeting, you can, in a rational way, prove to others that you are in the right when you claim to feel hurt. But since rationally explaining a feeling changes it into a mental concept, you do not feel hurt. Instead, you feel victorious because you convinced others you were right about being hurt.

However, the feeling of victory only lasts as long as others are willing to listen to your story of being unfairly treated. No worries. If you perceive the meaning you have assigned to your story as ‘it is what it is,’ nothing in it adds up to something specific. Hence the story cannot be used to justify being unfairly treated, thus not suppressing what you actually feel, which in the world of duality always is twofold. Therefore in sync with duality, you feel so fulfilled that you do not need the satisfaction of being in the right. Read more about made-up feelings here.

The stories you make to hide what you feel sooner or later clash with the actual experiences of the world where you seem to be. Thus you feel very confused.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

In the past, the special self made a hateful story it uses for perceiving the present, so it seems to confirm its past judgment of others as evil. And since the past, therefore, appears to repeat itself, the special self can rest assured in its perception of itself as good and others as bad.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The English language suits the special self because it is built upon the ‘I’ as primary and others as secondary. You do not talk with others but to them. And when you speak about friends and yourself, you always start by mentioning yourself.

It takes so much time and effort to invent a special self from which selected experiences are eliminated or changed, so you appear to be absent of power strivings, selfishness, greed, anger, negative thoughts or whatever you assume to be politically incorrect. It feels restricting, whereas you feel free when not altering or rejecting something in your perception to shape your image into something special.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Since everything in a world of duality comes in pairs and the special self excludes the apparently dark side of those in its perception of itself to appear as someone definitive, the power of duality is not expressed but suppressed. And even though the special self never feels it has enough energy, it does not correct its perception. It fears it will be devoured by the darkness it has excluded if it includes it.

It is right about being terminated. But only as someone definitive and not in the way it expects. The uncontrolled energy of suppressed feelings ignites a take-off into the empty breath.* In this state of not-knowing,* there is no awareness of being somebody. Hence all that is left is the bliss of nothing from which the self returns to a world of duality with the slate wiped clean. Therefore, since darkness and lightness are perceived as two sides of the same coin that interacts to define each other, it gets the power of the duality flow. ∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

A state of not-knowing* does not reveal non-duality, but that a world of duality is nothing. The result of this revelation is not that you choose to return to non-duality because that requires more than one. Instead, you return to the consciousness of being someone in a world of duality as a basic self.

Being basic, you sooner or later feel so relaxed that you forget to choose, and since not-choosing does not require more than one, the enlightenment of that which is One is bid welcome. See hack #6.1 The Enlightenment of that which is One.

The basic self cannot be changed, but it can be perceived as special

THE BASIC AND SPECIAL SELF PLUS THE ROGUE CONSCIOUSNESS:
You are effortlessly synced with the basic self when not suppressing feelings by holding back the breath or altering its natural rhythm via yoga, for example. And since very few thoughts are required to maintain the synchronisation, they do not seem disturbing but encouraging.

That is, until the consciousness, the brain has installed in the basic self to be aware of itself, decides it knows better than its maker, and plots to change the basic self into a special one. However, shaping and maintaining a special self requires a more complicated construction of thoughts than the simple construction accumulated by the brain to create and uphold the basic self.

Therefore, the rogue consciousness perceives an experience so scary that fear makes you hold back your breath long enough for thoughts to be imprisoned in the gap, from where they force their way out by multiplying themselves. Then, having escaped, they continue their frantic multiplication, which pleases the rogue consciousness because it needs lots of thoughts to make a special self come into being, supposedly free from the brain.

But in a world of duality, all thoughts come in pairs of opposing elements, such as right and wrong, to define each other. Therefore, since you cannot have one without the other, you are never only right but also wrong. However, the rogue consciousness does not want the elements in the duality pairs to collaborate because it wants to set up a self which is excluded from evil, thus only good.

To disconnect the opposing sides in the duality pairs into distinct elements, the rogue consciousness first imagines a judge determining which emotions are specifically good and bad. Then, an executioner punishes the bad ones by excluding them from the new self, so it looks uniquely good and has that feeling of being special. When not interfering with the few thoughts, the brain keeps circulating for you to have a continuous experience of being a basic self, you feel together. But you feel alienated if you add thoughts to the construction of the basic self to appear more special. It is like building castles in the sky because you cannot change how the brain has programmed you. Nor is it necessary because if you do not try to correct the brain, it automatically makes sure you perceive yourself in sync with its basic setup. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

But when good and bad are separated, they cannot define each other, as they do in a duality pair. Thus you do not get a genuine but conceptualised experience of good and bad. Nevertheless, that suits the rogue consciousness fine because, with emotions cut off, the special self can mentally decide what good and bad feel like, thus being the master

However, it is hard work to constantly suppress genuine feelings preventing you from using good and bad in a thought-up way – or twisting experiences into a collectively agreed concept of having a good time. Besides, the suppressed emotions mess up the natural flow of the breath, thus the stream of thoughts used to keep the body healthy, wherefore the body seems inflicted with psychosomatic illnesses. So although the special self probably appears as good as planned, it does not genuinely feel good.

On the other hand, the basic self feels as good as bad because it follows the brain’s script of duality, where everything comes in pairs with the opposing elements interacting with each other. Of course, this does not necessarily mean that the basic self has a perfect body, but its problems are not approached as psychological but physical issues. Thus the body knows how to deal with them unless the problems are genetically related.

Fortunately, the happiness of the basic self does not depend on appearance. Sometimes a weak body may even be helpful. For example, Alexius’s poor condition helps him slow down physically and speed up writing Alexius’ Duality Hacks.

In a world where there seems to be more than one, you must always choose something to uphold the illusion of separation. Therefore, not choosing anything, the illusion falls apart. THE WORLD IS A CONSTRUCTION OF FRAGMENTED THOUGHTS
You can compare the formlessness of oneness to one thought, which is pure peace. But peace is over when that thought is divided into two because they need to differ to appear divided. To achieve this separation, one thought as a separate entity, called a Person, looks at another thought called the World. And to uphold the illusion that there is more than one, the division goes on.

The thought called the World is divided into black-and-white aspects. And the thought called a Person is also divided into two, namely a Judge and an Executioner. Thus we have a Person who chooses between black and white experiences. And then a Judge who divides thoughts into right and wrong so the black experiences can be punished for being wrong by the Executioner.

When that is carried out, the Person feels good because now it is off the hook. Someone else is guilty of the mess that separation seems to entail. Read more about projections here. However, since this arrangement sets other divisions in motion, the relief is short-lived. So, again and again, the interaction of Person, WorldJudge and Executioner is used to make someone else look bad and yourself good.

Although this happens as an inner dialogue inside a Person, it is often projected onto something perceived outside of it. For example, what feels wrong inside the World of a Person is projected onto something perceived as evil in the World outside of a Person, such as immigrants, the deep state or communists. The Judge may be projected on a god, parent, boss, or lover. And perhaps society is seen as the Executioner.

That said, the world where we appear to be is not a construction of thoughts or anything else because oneness is formless, thus endless, so there is nothing else than that which is One. However, in the context of the belief that there is more than that, Alexius makes up stories he assumes help realise that they, as everything else experienced, are fictitious because it takes more than one to be aware of something.

The special self keeps returning to Facebook or similar media, where messages and likes confirm its specialness. But, if not continually established as unique, it starts doubting itself and thus loses its sense of control, which it fears more than anything else. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

BEING IN SYNC WITH DUALITY OR NOT:
What you believe in being is a construction of thoughts compiled by the brain into pairs of contrasting elements, such as happiness and sadness, to define each other. When in sync with the ongoing interaction of opposites, you do not want to separate happiness from sadness because the interaction makes you feel complete.

But you are not in sync with duality if negative thoughts are judged as wrong, thus excluded from the perception of yourself to appear solely positive. Without the awareness of negativity in yourself, there is nothing to define your positivity. Hence, nothing will turn you on – like you cannot turn on a TV without the negative pole in the electrical wire.

Being out of sync with duality occurs when the consciousness that the brain has installed in the self goes rogue and makes a special perception of the present moment where the elements in the duality pairs do not collaborate to define each other. Instead, they separate into individual aspects, so you can decide to only feel love for someone and hate for another, for example.

However, since love is not defined by hatred anymore, you do not feel genuine love but a speculative version of it. The same applies to hate. And since you believe your single-minded notions are real, you clash with the world because it consists of duality pairs. You can correct that by going with the interaction of love and hate. This you do by perceiving your single-minded notion of either love or hate as ‘it is what it is’ because this reveals love is in hate and vice versa. But instead of accepting that, you probably accuse the brain of ruining love. But you are a product of the brain (read more about that here), so your disapproval is a condemnation of yourself.

When the brain wants you to run, it uses the biological system to signal the body. It starts running regardless you are a basic or special self. The basic self, as always, feels entertained by following the brain’s commands. But the special self loathes the brain and its simple ideas of entertainment and thinks it knows better. TEMPTED TO BECOME SPECIAL:
When the consciousness of the basic self goes rogue, it responds like a spell checker to the calm stream of thoughts coming from the brain. It automatically interprets it so the self, which initially was made and administered by the brain, seems self-made, thus independent of the brain.

But since the rogue consciousness interpretations are single-minded, thus out of sync with duality, thoughts do not feel at home. Therefore, they multiply and move about so rapidly that the calm stream of thoughts from the brain becomes a wild one full of ideas for getting more.

At first, this turbulence seems scary to the basic self, but the rogue consciousness convinces it that it is for the best because now there are so many thoughts that you have endless possibilities. Besides, when you become special, you are in control so that you can arrange everything your way.

Therefore, most persons gladly welcome the corrections the rogue consciousness does to transform them into a unique self with unlimited ways of realising themselves, contrary to the basic self, limited by the brain, that it blindly follows.

But the rogue consciousness did not tell you that you must spend many years in school learning to make order out of this mess by labelling everything so you can follow predefined ways of being unique.

In other words, appearing independent and special is complicated and exhausting, whereas not being someone specific but relative to the brain’s script is uncomplicated and vitalising. Therefore, if you want to have a good time while appearing as someone in a world of duality, use one or more of Alexius’ Duality Hacks to enter a state of not-knowing. It wipes the slate clean of all misperceptions, thus restoring the basic self. Since it is relative to the brain, it is in sync with its experiences as they are and not as they could be if you were a special self following a specific philosophy

Therefore, as the basic self, you have fun going with the duality flow, contrary to the special self, which is imprisoned by specific concepts of being positive or whatnot. Read more about that here. That said, once having been established as a special self, you probably keep going back and forth between that and the basic self until you do not need to feel something specific to feel happy because that is impossible as the basic self. It only knows the fullness of twofoldness.

Should you not want to play the game of duality, thus having the belief in it undone, it is not necessary to be the basic self. Still, it is much easier because, not being special, suddenly you forget to remember what and where you are, which is the invitation the Enlightenment of that which is One waits for. PS: Since you are bound to follow the brain’s commands physically, your life progresses the same whether you are the basic or special self. It is only mentally that it seems different.

In old scriptures, being someone in a world where there seems to be more than one is often compared to being in a world of darkness. It was a metaphor, Alexius does not know, but he knows there is no light in a world where there seems to be more than one. It is something we have learned to imagine so that we can navigate in a world of darkness. The below story illustrates this:

e no streetlights outside Alexius’ home, so when he wakes up in the middle of the night, the only thing to ‘light’ up his bedroom is the stars or the moon. Hence one may conclude that he cannot find the way to the toilet unless he uses a torch or turns on the electric light.

But it is easy for Alexius to find the way without the help of electrical light because he has learned where everything is and can use certain things as navigation points so that they seem to ‘light’ up the way. It is all imagined, though and put together by trial and error. Actually, he stumbled quite a few times, learning to ‘see’ the way.

But he cannot ‘see’ anything else in the night than the way he has fabricated to the toilet because he has not learned to ‘see’ more than that. Maybe he can pick up ‘seeing’ beyond what he knows if he studies how to do it. But what he learns to ‘see’ will be another fabrication, as the rooms next to his bedroom are also entirely in the dark.

The way from his bed to the toilet can be compared to everybody’s way in a world where there seems to be more than one. You seem to see something and then navigate from that to what you interpret as something else. But you move in the dark, and whatever you think you see is an image you have learned to perceive (read more about that here). Without having learned that, there is nothing to see. Neither is there anything hidden or something to be understood except that everything you believe to see is a construction of thoughts (read more about that here).

WHAT IS FABRICATED DOES NOT EXIST
When you do not care to find a way through the darkness, what you have learned to see disappears – also darkness because is just as imagined. Without this imagination – or rather the belief in it – there is nothing but unimaginable light. Not a light like that can be compared to the sun or similar artificial sources of light. And not a light that lights up something to see. There is nothing to light up.

When the enlightenment of that which is One is welcomed, the belief that there is something to see cannot survive. And when there is nothing to see, there is not something to hide that which is One.

THE ENLIGHTENMENT OF THAT WHICH IS ONE
You can compare welcoming the enlightenment of that which is One to a video call from your computer to that which is One. There is so much light on the computer screen that you cannot see it or the world around it until the call is over, and the screen again simulates something familiar in a world where there seems to be more than one. Yet you know, it is not real because there is no more than that which is one. And then you go on like before, except that you do not believe what and where you appear to be is real but something you pretend. Just like we have the outward-facing senses to see, hear, feel, smell and taste a tangible world, we have inward-facing senses to see, hear, feel, smell and taste an abstract world. However, to use the inward-facing senses, the outward-facing ones must be more or less turned off. Read more about that here.

To be entirely cut off from the world of the outward-facing senses for a moment feels like dying. Thus most try to avoid the total transition from the outward-facing senses to the inward ones. They are afraid of the unknown and try avoiding it by doing something in the world of the outward-facing senses, like vomiting, like they do to avoid facing suppressed feelings, according to psychologists.

However, it is best to avoid that in the phase of the total transition from outer to inward-facing senses. And instead, face the extreme discomfort by including it precisely as it is without trying to understand or embrace it. Therefore, since you are what is in the moment and nothing else, it is gone in the next moment. It might be easier said than done and probably takes many moments of discomfort.

THE VISUAL ASPECT OF THE ENLIGHTENMENT OF THAT WHICH IS ONE
If the inward-facing senses are intensely used, the outward-facing senses are in the background, and vice versa. When the inward-facing senses first time were intensely used, Alexius had been driving a taxi for 15 hours and was so exhausted that he confused traffic lights for customers trying to hire a cab.

When he finally returned home from work, no energy was left to focus on the world of the outward-facking senses. Hence the most known aspect of the inward-facing senses was activated, namely the ability to ‘see’ light. However, it was not a light that could be compared to anything you could see with the two eyes of the outward-facing senses. It burned away everything establishing him as Alexius, so there was no belief in someone definitive to hide there was or will be more than the formlessness of oneness.

THE AUDIO ASPECT OF THE ENLIGHTENMENT OF THAT WHICH IS ONE
Soon after, he had bid welcome the visual aspect of the Enlightenment of that which is One, the inward-facing ear opened with ethereal harmonies sounding like bells, much crisper and softer than the mundane ones. Regarding the opening of the third eye, he had no discomfort in the transition. Perhaps he was too exhausted to fight it.

Speaking of the opening of the inward-facing ear, it probably ‘happened’ in a deep sleep, where the concept of an ‘I’ is gone. Thus there is nobody to hold onto the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one.

The desire to escape that which is One makes you hang onto the belief that you are someone in a world where there seems to be more than one. That is until you realise, it is yourself that you want to escape, because that which is you is no different from that which is One.

THE TASTE ASPECT OF THE ENLIGHTENMENT OF THAT WHICH IS ONE
The taste of oneness is like a flavour of milk and honey with a hint of liquorice or strawberry. To start tasting it was not without discomfort for Alexius. His body reacted like it had been attacked by something dangerous and panicked by making vomit reflexes. But when he did not try to escape it, the panic turned out to be a lid on a jug of a smoothie-like texture that some scriptures call the nectar of life. Since the Enlightenment of that which is One cannot be experienced, the following regarding the taste of oneness cannot be explained. But metaphorically, when the transparent sweet flavour is not defined as something familiar, it turns into the tastelessness of oneness. But it was not before Alexius had tasted this sweetness several tastes that he realised he must have bid welcome the taste of the Enlightenment of that which is One because memories start popping up of a shapeless taste.

When the biological system of the body does not function anymore, the world of the outward-facing senses cannot be experienced. But for almost half an hour you remain in the world of the inward-facing senses, and as it is only in the world of the outward-facing senses the belief in being someone specific can be upheld, nobody ssems to die. That is if you do not fight the world of the inward-facing senses by holding onto something specific, that reminds you of being someone in the world of the outward-facing senses.

However, it does not mean you are gone because that which is you is no different from oneness which is formless, thus endless. FORGETTING THE OUTWARD-FACING SENSE OF FEELING THE WORLD
The inward-facing sense of feeling was not easy to reach for Alexius. It took many years of discomfort, vomiting, being hospitalised and sometimes losing the ability to balance – to mention a few disturbing things he encountered trying to get into feeling the world of the inward-facing senses. But, no worries, when Alexius much later updated this article, he had forgotten all about this.

However, he still remembers the breakthrough. One night, Alexius was in such deep sleep that he completely died from the outward-facing sense. In other words, the belief in being Alexius was momentarily undone so that the Enlightenment of that which is One was bid welcome – not in a visual but emotional way, though. First, there was a moment of discomfort from not sensing his body being separated from the bed. Then, it was as if everything was his body, which was electric and full of tiny bubbles.

Next, it turned into a feeling with no shape, thus not tangible. Consequently, it did not establish Alexius as somebody, wherefore there was nobody to describe it. In other words, what is written here is based on vague memories that Alexius seems able to pick up from what feels very far away and yet right here.

Unlike in a world defined by time and space, where there seem to be different events happening in sequences of time, there was no time. Everything was happening simultaneously. It was and is one perpetual present of bubbles moving so fast that there only was One. Although returning to a world defined by time and space, it seems to be a sequence of events over a long time ago.

To experience the Enlightenment of that which is One, there must be someone to experience it. However, that is impossible because it takes more than one to experience something. Thus Alexius’ Enlightened Non Teachings discerns between the Enlightenment of that which is One and glimpses of it.

The former cannot be experienced and the latter is an experience of Enlightenment comparable to watching a movie trailer, which means it is not the Enlightenment of that which is One but a sample of it.

THE ENLIGHTENMENT OF THAT WHICH IS ONE VERSUS GLIMPSES OF IT
The above is about how Alexius forgot the outward-facing senses, thus getting to four aspects of the Enlightenment of that which is One. However, this is not an everyday experience. Actually, the Enlightenment of that which is One is not an experience at all because it requires more than one to be aware of something. But you can experience glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One every day. For an in-depth explanation of glimpses, check out The four aspects of Enlightenment and how to sample them.

We all know that within the framework of a world where there seems to be more than one, the world simulated in virtual reality glasses is not real, so when you take off the glasses, the virtual world disappears. Thus there is not something to disturb you from seeing what is considered the real world. Likewise, the more the outward-facing senses are turned off, the less definable appearances prevent you from being in the abstract world of the inward-facing senses with glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One.

But the experience of this world full of lucid light, ethereal music, sweet nectar or transparent bubbles disappears if the outward-facing senses are entirely turned off, as that leaves nothing to define the glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One. Hence there are no glimpses to experience nor somebody specific to experience them. Thus not something to hide there is nothing but one perpetual present.

Please do not take the expression in Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings about the inward and outward-facing senses too literal. The world of the inward-facing senses refers to a world that is not experienced as outside of you, whereas the world of the outward-facing senses are experienced outside of you. However, all experiences are make-believe.

From the perspective of a world where oneness is divided into more than one, that which is One is nothing. But from the standpoint of oneness – though no such thing is possible, as it requires more than one to have a point of view – it is everything because it is formless, thus endless.

ONE WHO IS TO BE COMPARED TO THE ENLIGHTENMENT OF THAT WHICH IS ONE
After a long, intense night of driving a taxi many years ago, Alexius forgot what and where he was, so he was sucked into the Enlightenment of that which is One. But since it requires more than one to be conscious of something, he has not experienced the Enlightenment of that which is One. However, his faint memories of light so powerful that nothing can be seen were triggered when he later read part of The New Testament and Bhagavad Gita.

The Enlightenment of that which is One is literally light, so it is not symbolic when Jesus said: »When your eyes become single, your whole body will be full of light,« or when St. Paul said he was blinded by light, or Arjuna said to when Krishna: »It is brighter than thousands of suns. I have become the destroyer of worlds …«

A dream can be compared to a simulated world meanwhile layered on top that which is real. As long as you believe the simulated world is real, it seems to cover that which is not simulated.

The translations of both The New Testament and Bhagavad Gita differ from translator to translator, and as the above quotes are from memory, they may not be the exact words in your addition. But it does not matter because regardless of how you speak about it, the Enlightenment of that which is One cannot be described. In other words, what is said about it in Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings should not be taken as the real thing, nor as pointers towards it because it requires more than one.

Imagine you want to describe an orange to somebody who has never seen or tasted an orange. For example, you say its colour is like an orange sunset, it is round like a ball, and it tastes like sweetened water. Yet the person you have given this description will never discover what an orange is by drinking sweet water from a rounded cup at sunset.

You have to see and taste it yourself to know what it is. However, in the context of the Enlightenment of that which is One, you will never know what it is because a person cannot be Enlightened. You as a person are erased in the Enlightenment of that which is One. Thus there is nobody to experience it. That is why Alexius is not enlightened but to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One.

In the Enlightenment of that which is One, the world is gone – not because it has been destroyed, but because it has never been, except as a fantasy. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

And that is why he does not search for the meaning of life. He knows there is no more than that which is One, so there is no life in a world where it seems to be more than one. Besides, searching for something requires more than one, so whatever you think you realise is an illusion.

One who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One has no need to be forgiven or loved because there is no ‘I’ deciding what to do, thus, nobody to forgive or love. But when there is no ‘I’ to protect and preserve, the ‘I’ is a tool like the legs, hands and eyes. Thus you are free to pretend you are someone definitive. Regarding the Enlightenment of that which is One, it is best to forget everything you have ever heard or read about it – including what is said in Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings. Any idea of how it looks is wrong. It has no shape. Yet, if you look for something intangible, you still look for something. But if you do not believe to be someone definitive – or do not care about it – there does not seem to be something hiding that which cannot be seen, heard, felt or tasted.

If you fear the destructive powers of the world, you will probably fear the enlightenment of that which is one, as its light will destroy every definable feature of you just like that. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

THE FEAR OF ENLIGHTENMENT
When the cats living with Alexius are asleep, he cannot see what they are dreaming, but based on their movements, they sometimes look like they have a nightmare. That which is One may draw the same conclusion if One could see the stress in those imagining being in a world where there seems to be more than one. But just like Alexius cannot see the dreams of his cats, neither can oneness see the imaginary world of those who believe oneness can be divided into more than One.

Even if oneness could sense this fantasy in which you are someone who needs to take something from someone else to survive, it would not stop the imagination because you may not be ready to see that what and where you believe in being is an illusion. Thus oneness tries to comfort you in your dream world while it sweetly whispers: Come home.

This whisper is heard or felt as an unpronounceable humming, often symbolised by the word Aum or Sohang. Read more about that in Life has no secrets. If the call to come home makes you open your eyes, the world you are dreaming about is gone. Instead, there is light much more potent than anything in the dream. The force of an atomic bomb is nothing compared to its strength. However, this light does not illuminate anything and is neither opaque nor transparent but so intense that it cannot be apprehended.

To bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one all thoughts made to fabricate an image of you as something definable must be left at the edge of a black hole, so that there is nothing for the bright white light to suck through a black hole into that which is one. This will of course seems very frightening if you want to remain someone definable in a world, where there seems to be more than one, and if so chances are that you out of desperation will define the bright white light and/or the black hole as something, and so you are back in a definable world. If you leave all thoughts behind at the edge of the black hole and end up being no different from that which is one, you can pick up all the thoughts again – in linear time – within a few minutes and return as someone in a world, where there seems to be more than one.

The Enlightenment of that which One sucks out all thoughts making up the experience of being someone definitive. It leaves them at the edge of a black hole, so the nothingness of you gracefully falls through it into the formlessness of oneness. That seems very frightening if you want to uphold the belief in being someone definitive. No worries, you can take back the thought construction left at the edge of the black hole, which is done by comparing the black hole to something familiar. In this way, the Enlightenment of that which is One becomes definable, and as that is only possible in a definable world, it is over, and you appear as someone in a world defined by time and space. Without further notice, the light relentlessly and most powerfully wipe out every definable feature that makes up your identity in the dream of a world where there seems to be more than one. That is done so fast and efficiently that there is nobody to know you once were somebody, thus nobody to fear obliteration and the free-fall through a black hole into the formlessness of oneness.

But if you used to uphold your image of being good by projecting your shit onto others, you probably wait for vengeance to come. Thus you see the light as the avenger, and you fight it by shaping your despair so it seems powerful enough to smash the light into pieces. Hence you are back in the dream about a world where there seems to be more than one.

Since there is no more than that which is One, and it requires more than one to wake up, it is impossible. The same applies to reading this article and Alexius having written it. That which we are is not in a world where there seems to be more than one. One could say we are dreaming about it. However, this is a metaphor because, in reality, it takes more than one to dream about something.

That said, you cannot smash the light, and it does not destroy you because you do not exist. That is why nothing is terminated but the belief in being someone definitive, which is like undoing the belief in Santa Claus. It is not dangerous. In other words, there is nothing to fear when not caring about your image. Thus nothing to lose from being nobody in a free-fall through a black hole into the formlessness of oneness. Although this seems logical, we probably fight it several times before we get it emotionally and do not stop falling into the formlessness of oneness.

APPENDIX:
It may seem unclear if you have to be nobody to welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One or that it is something it takes care of.

Unfortunately, Alexius cannot clarify that. There is no transition from a world where there seems to be more than one to the Enlightenment of that which is One, so he does not know when it sets in. There are vague memories of chaos inside him just before it sets in. But there is no chaos, peace or anything else in the Enlightenment of that which is One, as that requires more than one. For the same reason, nothing is taken away but the illusion of more than one.

Someone in Spain recently had the heart replaced by the above heart made of plastic. In other words, a heart is not you, but solely a mechanic thing you have to pump the blood around. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The heart is not you. That is why it is called your heart. It is a tool needed for pumping blood around the body to supply its cells with oxygen. In other words, coming from the heart merely means going with oxygen. Since this is purely mechanical, the heart can be replaced with plastic, like in the above image. COMING FROM THE HEART IS A HEAD TRIP
It seems that to be spiritual, you must come from the heart and manifest it as if you are part of something bigger, for example, by joining a group of like-minded ones.

Unfortunately, most of these groups of supposedly warm-hearted people only tolerate ways of expression endorsed by their guru, so if you do not follow the dress code, you are excluded. You will probably also be abandoned if you are well organised and do not mind planning because it scares those who space out by hugging others in the group.

However, not making plans does not seem to be a problem for most who believe in coming from the heart. They need to be so unique and independent that it is impossible to commit to a plan, least of all to the conventional rules of society.

Those believing to come from the heart restricts themselves by their rules of how to express it. But they deny that by projecting their control onto the world. Therefore, since the world seems to have caused their feeling of imprisonment, they conclude they will be free when the rules of the world have been changed.

That is why the world must be changed into something that suits their needs. However, they hide this selfishness behind talk about unity when they meet in chaotic events, often advertised very confusingly because they think clarity and direction restrict the heart.


No matter where an experience is perceived to come from or if it appears spiritual or mundane, it is fabricated by the brain. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The heart is a muscle from where blood transports oxygen to the cells of the body. If you also have an experience of something spiritual coming from it, you are deceiving yourself. Science discovered more than 200 years ago, that all experiences comes are fabricated by the brain.

Since intuition and spontaneity seems associated with non-duality, those claiming to come from the heart think they are in touch with non-duality. But since intuition is defined by reasoning and spontaneity by planning, and reasoning and planning have been excluded, intuition and spontaneity cannot be described. Thus coming from the heart does not result in a genuine experience but a thought-up state of satisfaction based on separation.

In a world of duality, non-duality seems to be separated into two opposing parts, one as someone definitive and another one as multiple appearances outside of it.

But the concept of coming from the heart is misleading. It implies there is a way to unite those opposing parts, thus increasing the belief in separation, since there would be no idea of union without this separation.

It is not easy to undo a belief you are unaware of. So if you want to undo the belief in duality, do not try to escape it by following rosy ideas like coming from the heart. Instead, include the apparent horror of duality as well as its beauty. Since that cancels them out, there is no contrast to define a world of duality, wherefore nothing seems to hide there is nothing other than non-duality.

A perfect body cannot be felt because there is no such thing. Yet the feeling of not being perfect can be felt. And since that frustration is the means to feel you are someone definitive, it serves you well to feel frustrated about not being perfect. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

THE PERFECT BODY IS A MENTAL CONSTRUCTION:
Movies use collectively agreed concepts of right or wrong to create moods that we seem to recognise. But what we assume the film makes us feel is based on thoughts popping up from the past about what we believe is right and wrong. Therefore, if you check what you actually feel, you are, in most cases, not touched by the movie. It is something you imagine. The same applies to being attracted by a particular body type.

You wish that you feel something when seeing, what you judge to be a perfect body, but you do not feel anything because the idea of an ideal body is a thought construction of a body from which the parts judged not as perfect are excluded. Thus you invite to dinner with red wine, candlelight and whatnot that create an atmosphere as if you feel something special.

To not see your self-deception, you establish rules of how to interact so you can hide, you have no feelings invested in the actual body of the other – only in your imagination of what you can do with the fragments of the body judged as perfect. The same applies if you are attracted to a specific type of personality.

If you are accused of being shallow in such a relationship, you prove your commitment to it by pointing to the rules you strictly follow. Yet it is nothing but a construction of thoughts used to avoid real intimacy, as, in closeness, the belief in separation will go down the drain so that there is nothing to hide, there is no more than the intimacy of that which is One.

BEING CENTRED IS SPECULATIVE:
If you do not want the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one to hide the formlessness of oneness, it is not desirable to be centred because. It requires much control to continuously exclude what is not as unbalanced, and since excluding is to separate, the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one is enhanced instead of undone.

That said, if you have worked hard to separate specific parts of the world from the image you have made of yourself so that it appears to be a story of a good person in a bad world, you do not need to do anything about that. It happens by itself when the need to separate is included.

Everything in a world where there seems to be more than one needs contrast to be experienced as something specific. Hence you can only experience being separated if you also – consciously or not – experience being connected. And as the sum of the two opposites always is a state of not-knowing, that is what you get if you do not keep separation and connection apart. However, this state is not a sensation like falling in love but the bliss of nothing.

NT5 Inclusiveness is a journey without distance

Those gathering in groups of nationalism, capitalism, socialism or another ism manifests their specific group by excluding everything out of line with its principles.

First, they divide the world into right and wrong. Second, they eliminate everything judged wrong by projecting it onto other groups. Third, since the other groups are seen as evil, they start fighting them.

When the fight is over, the winning group claims to be the right one. »By doing the right thing, we have established we are the best,« they say. But they only seem to be better because they have projected the worst in themselves onto the losing groups.

Fortunately, Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings is not a new doctrine where you have to change or get rid of something to become better. It confirms separation, and Alexius’ Duality Hacks undo the belief that there is more than that which is One

A JOURNEY WITHOUT DISTANCE TO THAT WHICH IS ALL INCLUSIVE
When Henry Ford invented the automobile, he did not update but outperformed the old horse-driving carriage type of transportation.

Likewise, Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings is not an update of ancient meditation methods, added soothing sounds, shaman sticks and whatnot. Alexius’ Duality Hacks are built from scratch, founded on the haste of modern-day life, so you rapidly enter a state of not-knowing, undisturbed by the belief in separation. In contrast, meditation does not progress at all because it is based on excluding something, thus enhancing separation and the suffering it entails. Besides, life is all-inclusive, so exclusion is a denial of it.

Hack #3.1 Inclusiveness is freedom does not require you to sit in a specific position with eyes closed or be with special people in unique surroundings. Instead, you include whatever you experience wherever you are. You cannot go wrong, not even if you forget to be inclusive, because then you include your imperfection. Hence you are at full speed on a journey with no distance to that which is all-inclusive, namely, non-duality since it is formless, thus endless.

INCLUSIVENESS CANCELS OUT SEPARATION
Being Inclusive starts by acknowledging separation because otherwise, there is nothing to include. For example, you focus on these black letters to separate them from the white background, so you can read the article.

Next, you include what you excluded. In the context of reading this article, you fully bring back the white background into your awareness. That makes it impossible to focus on the black letters, wherefore there is no article to read. In other words, by including the excluded, the two sides of a contrast cancel out each other. Therefore, since there is nothing specific to experience, thus nothing to make the experiencer definitive, the belief in separation falls apart.

You do not have to be aware of both sides in a particular contrast to include them because everything comes in pairs in a world of duality, like two sides of a coin. Therefore, if you include the side you know, the opposite side is automatically included. See also Inclusiveness is the bliss of nothing.

Another way to put it, nothing can be experienced without its contrast. Therefore, if you devote yourself so much to a problem that there is nothing but that, there is not something to define it. Consequently, there is no problem.

Inclusiveness is a bit like falling in love. Everybody looks lovely.

Although Alexius’ cat, Uma, is dead, their love affair continues because Alexius has included his experience of it. However, physically speaking, it is over because Uma has returned to the nothingness from where she seemed to arise. Therefore, since they are together in the bliss of nothing, Alexius and Uma walk a path without time and space into that which is One, accompanied by soundless meowing. INCLUSIVENESS IS LIFE FOREVER
Alexius had a cat, Uma, who died in his arms. Even though she was only eight months old, he felt they had been close together for years. So for a long time, he woke up crying. He tried to find relief in the memories of their time together, but when the images of Uma started to fade, he realised he was on the wrong track.

In Alexius’ memories, Uma seems definable, but she is not definable anymore. So instead of hanging onto the memories of specific images, he included them. Therefore, since they became boundless, the feeling of Uma was in everything. Hence there was no loss to mourn.

When he forgot that, his grieving only resulted in fleeting memories, making him feel broken. Hence he returned to the stable feeling of Uma in everything. He did that by not blocking the breath from going through the muscles involved in crying. Therefore, since the muscles softened instead of cramping up and making him cry,* they did not preserve his relation to Uma as something specific somewhere definitive.

However, when Uma is everywhere, she is also in Alexius’ memories. Thus he can enjoy the memories of his physical moments with Uma like he enjoys the ongoing non-physical experiences of her within him. That does not mean Alexius and Uma are at one. They never will be because oneness does not come about by adding more than one but by undoing the belief in more than one. Doing that, there is neither Uma, Alexius or anything else, but until then, Uma seems to be Alexius’ devotion to oneness. What that means, Alexius does not know. But that is good because it takes more than one to know something.

*) This is not to say that crying is wrong. But sometimes, it is better not to follow the flow of muscles leading to crying and instead fall into the flexibility of the muscles, thus feeling relaxed.
