The four aspects of Enlightenment and how to sample them [draft]

Updated June 27, 2022

The echo of that which is one, which often is symbolised by the words Aum, Sohang or The Word of God and which comes from the edge of the universe can be heard or felt right now via the inner senses, because they are not limited by time and space.

The echo of that which is One is often symbolised by the words Aum, Sohang or The Word of God. It comes from the edge of the universe, but since the inward-facing senses are not limited by time and space, using them, it takes no time to go there to hear or feel the echo of oneness coming out of a black hole. See Going back to the first moment of duality.

None of the facets of the Enlightenment of that which is One can be experienced because it requires more than one to be aware of something. Thus when you hear, feel, see or taste it, you do not experience the Enlightenment of that which is One but glimpses of it. This article is about how to experience these glimpses with the inward-facing senses while still in the world of the outward-facing senses. Remember that as a movie trailer is not the movie, the glimpses are not the Enlightenment of that which is One

And be aware that the ways described below to have glimpses of Enlightenment will not work if you look forward to being or having more, as their function is to undo the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one. This does not mean, you must restrain yourself from getting more but not care about it.

HEARING OR FEELING THE ECHO OF ONENESS
As already implied, oneness cannot be revealed because that calls for more than one. However, when you hear or feel it echoed from the edge of the universe, the belief in being and having more than One is, eventually, undone. Hereafter, it does not appear to hide there never was or will be more than that which is one.

In other words, the more you ignore the world defined by time and space, produced by the outward-facing senses, the more a world not limited by time and space is experienced by the inward-facing senses. Without time and space, it takes no time to go to the edge of the universe (read more about that here), where the echo of oneness has been used to create a fantasy world of time and space which seems genuine until you hear or feel this primordial vibration, often symbolised by Aum, Sohang or The Word of God.

This is the Hindi symbol of ´sohang´ – grabbed from the web

The Hindi symbol of Sohang.

»With every exhalation the soul recites ‘Hang’ and with every inhalation it recites ‘So’. Thus every soul counts the mantra of Sohang (So plus Hang) twenty-one thousand and six-hundred times every day and night.« Gherand Samhita, stanza 84.

In Eastern religions the echo of oneness is symbolised by the word ‘Aum’ or ‘Sohang’ and in the New Testament by ‘The Word of God’: »In the origin The Word had been existing and That Word had been existing with God and That Word was himself God.« John 1:1, Aramaic Bible in Plain English.

One who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One perceives ‘The Word’ in the above quote as a metaphor for the unpronounceable vibration you hear or feel when not being totally focused on the world of the outward-facing senses. The unenlightened, however, speculates about what exact words this is hinting at, even though there is not a single verse in the Bible referring to ´The Word of God´, as if it is written or can be spoken.

The vibration that AUM or Sohang symbolizes comes from the edge of the universe, which is only far away if you let yourself be deceived by a world defined by linear time as experienced through the outer senses.

Glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One are echoes of oneness coming out of a black hole at the edge of the universe. However, this is not far away when you ignore the outward-facing senses and their world defined by time and space and go with the inward-facing ones instead because they are not ruled by time and space. Thus you can see, hear, feel or taste the echo of oneness regardless of where you appear to be in the world of the outward-facing senses.

A way to ignore the outward-facing senses so you can hear or feel the echo of oneness with the inward-facing senses is not to be exclusive but inclusive. When you include all that you hear or feel completely unedited – or are willing to – the sum of everything in the world of the outward-facing senses is heard by the inward-facing senses. It sounds or feels like a humming of nothing and everything simultaneously. And it feels like you are both in the world of the outer and inward-facing senses.

You can also use the word Aum or Sohang as a launching pad for hearing or feeling the humming coming from the edge of the universe. Please read the article Life has no secrets to learn how to do it without spending years meditating, chanting and whatnot.

When your eyes become single, there is no separation to hide the enlightenment of that which is one. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

When your eyes become single, there is no separation to hide the Enlightenment of that which is One.

THE THIRD EYE
Seeing glimpses of oneness is done via the inward-facing sense called the third eye, a single ‘eye’ in the middle of the two eyes above the two eyebrows.

»The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.« Matt 6:22, King James Bible. This makes much sense to one who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One but obviously not to the unenlightened, because in the new international version of the New Testament this sentence has been changed to: »The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light.«

How this is meaningful to the unenlightened, Alexius does not know. But he knows it makes no sense to one who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One.

When you for whatever reason – maybe due to being very desperate, drunk or tired – are unable to focus, the Enlightenment of that which is One is bid welcome. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The enlightenment of that which is One is bid welcome by completely ignoring the outward-facing senses. First time this happened for Alexius was when he returned home totally exhausted after a long nights work of taxi driving and simply was too tired to focus.

In other words, to be offbeat, exhausted, confused or maybe even drunk is a way to forget the outward-facing senses, so that there is no world to see and therefore nothing to hide the Enlightenment of that which is One. In fact anything that is not part of a scheme to fabricate images defined by time and space will do.

If that includes drugs Alexius does not know, because he has not experienced them. Yet he can say from looking at others taking drugs, that it seems to be more about expanding the consciousness of a world where there seems to be more than one than undoing it.

»Direct your eyes toward the middle of the eyebrows and meditate upon your own self. It is Shambhavi Mudra, the most secret practice of all the Tantra scriptures.« Gherand Samhita, stanza 59.

The positioning of the body, while activating the third eye, does not matter.

The positioning of the body, while activating the third eye, does not matter, as long as the body does not bother you.

Practically speaking you can turn off the visual outward-facing sense and open the third eye by closing the eyes and lightly, without any concentration, hold a finger on the third eye. You can do it anywhere in any position. However, it is best to do in a dark room, so you do not think the revelation of light comes from the world of the outward-facing senses.

If something like this is dechiffered into different colors and forms, you will have glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one, but if you do not judge any colors or forms to be different from each other the apparent differences will explode into one bright light.

If having a vision like this and it is deciphered into an experience of different colours and shapes around a centre, it is a glimpse of ‘the Enlightenment of that which is One.’ If you on the other hand do not judge the apparent different colours and forms to make a difference or to come from somewhere specific, one bright and colourless light, that seems to explode from out of nowhere wipes out all thoughts collected to form you into someone definitive, so nobody gracefully falls into the formlessness of oneness.

Since the eyes always looks for the greatest contrast of light, your closed eyes automatically search the darkness until they move inwards and upwards towards the third eye from where they settle at a light show exposed at such a speed that the apparent contrast between the splashes of colours hardly can be perceived.

»Touching eyeballs as a feather, lightness between them opens into the heart and there permeates the cosmos.« Sochanda Tantra, stanza 13.

If your eyes do not automatically move inwards and upwards into the area of the inward-facing senses above the eyebrows, you may help them by gently pressing the thumb and middle finger on the outer corner of the eyeballs, while having the middle finger on the third eye.

However, this is not really commendable, since even the slightest effort requires focus, and it is not focus but defocus that bids welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One or glimpses of it. Furthermore this may give you the impression that certain physical postures can open the third eye.

None of the inward-facing senses are reached via a specific posture or way of thinking. But deactivating the outward-facing senses can be achieved in this way, so if you find a specific technique that seems helpful regarding this by all means go for it. However, the fastest way to deactivate the outward-facing senses is to not know what and where you are.

A way to to deactivate the outward-facing senses is to use an eye massager with infrared heat fusion technology, such as Breo iSee4 Eye Massager. Besides from turning off the outward-facing sense of seeing, the heat soften the eyes. And when they are relaxed, they do not focus. Hence they automatatically turn inwards and upwards to merge with the third eye.

»… and there shall be no light there, and they need no candle there, neither the light of the sun, for the Lord God giveth them light.« Rev. 22:5

The thought construction that seems to keep you together as someone tangible is left at the edge of a black hole.

The thought construction that seems to keep you together as someone tangible must be left at the edge of a black hole so that there is nothing to gracefully fall into the formlessness of oneness.

When your eyes are so soft that they do not focus or momentarily do not know what and where you are, there is nothing to prevent glimpses of Enlightenment to merge into one bright white light, namely the Enlightenment of that which is One. It extracts all thoughts, that you have stored to appear as someone definitive, and leave them at the edge of what may look like a black hole, so there is nobody to experience the nothingness of you gracefully falling into the formlessness of oneness.

You can read more about a black hole in the article The ins and outs of a black hole.

Enlightenment is not an out-of-the-body experience as it is not an experience, but its preliminary stage of bliss and compassion, which is connected to the world via the pineal gland, is an experience that is often perceived to be out-of-the-body.

Enlightenment of that which is one is not an out-of-body experience. It is not an experience at all. But its preliminary stages of bliss and compassion, which in the world may to be connected with the pineal gland, is something that may be felt as an out-of-body experience.

Most, however, are afraid of loosing their identity, so they settle for glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One, which is like a blissful out-of-body experience – presumably linked to the pineal gland. It appears to foster states like that.

If you are not tempted to stop at this state of bliss, but to go where someone definitive cannot go, namely into the Enlightenment of that which i One, it is not an out-of-body experience. On the contrary, there is no experience at all, nor consciousness, because to be awate of something requires more than one.

If you want to leave the Enlightenment of that which is One and be reshaped as someone definitive, you must pick up the thoughts, that was left at the edge of a black hole so you could enter it as nobody.

Returning from the Enlightenment of that which is One to a world where there seems to be more than one, you cannot know, you have been at the other side of a black hole, because you were not there and there is no other side, since there is no more than that which is one. In other words, the person you appear to be is not Enlightened. Yet, due to vague memories of that which is one, you are to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One.

It is not possible though for somebody else to know, this. You will hardly grasp it yourself. But for sure you grasp, that a world where there seems to be more than one is not real.

ac1d3bc0-5bae-4dac-921e-8c1c4d9f64e1ETHEREAL HARMONIES
When you thoroughly enjoy the music of the outward-facing, it reminds you of the airy music you can experience with the inward-facing senses. It is full of ethereal harmonies floating out of a black hole at the edge of the universe.

»I heard a sound from heaven like the sound of cascading waters and like the rumbling of loud thunder. The sound I heard was also like harpists playing on their harps.« Revelation 14:2, Holman Christian Standard Bible.

Being used to take a ride in the world of the inward-facing senses, that opens up when the outward-facing senses are not fully used to experience a world defined by time and space, you sense the first sentence of this quote refers to ‘Aum’ or ‘Sohang’ or ‘The Word of God,’ and that the second one to ethereal music.

»At midnight when not a single sound is heard, close your ears with both hands and do Purak Pranayama. Listen to the sounds in your right ear which are very pleasant. The first sound that you will hear is of a pine bird, the second of a flute, third of a cloud, fourth of a dragon bee, the fifth of a ringing bell and then of a gong of metal. Sounds of trumpet, drum etc. are also heard.

Except for The New Testament and Bhagavad Gita Alexius has not read religious scripts. Therefore, most of the words in the quote from Gherand Samhita are meaningless to him. But since he hears inner music himself, it is easy to pick up the essence of the quote, namely the bliss of listening to ethereal harmonies.

Besides these, many other sounds are heard if it is practiced daily. These sounds are Anahata (unproduced) and come on their own accord. Nada is related to light. Light is related to mind, so mind gets itself merged in a sound which is the seat of the Lord. Therefore, practice of Bhramari gives Siddhi of Samadhi (i.e., makes Samadhi possible).

Mind gets eightfold more pleasure in the act of meditation than Japa (repeating God’s name), eightfold more interest in Tapas (penance) than the meditation, and eightfold more interest in music or sound than the Tapas. There is nothing greater than music.« Gherand Samhita, stanzas 77-81. Besides for the word ´Nada´ meaning music Alexius does not know the meaning of all the Hindi words in this quote, but hearing inner music himself – though not so bombastic as described in this quote – he gets the overall meaning of it.

Using noise-cancelling headphones is a great way to close off the outward-facing sense of hearing. Alexius prefers in-ear headphones, though, as they can also be used when going to bed.

A practical way to stop hearing the world of the outward-fencing senses and start listening to the music of the inward-fencing senses is to put both thumbs in your ears. But you can also use a noise-cancelling headphone or an in-ear headphone. Then without focusing or trying to define anything, be nothing but the ethereal music coming to you from what may seem far away.

For tuning in, it is best not to go with the vibrations from the left ear. They often are the sounds of a busy mind. So instead, follow the harmonies that appear to come from an empty space a bit outside of the right ear. That said, do not pay too much attention to directions.

Maybe you will not hear ethereal harmonies immediately but the humming symbolised by ‘Aum’ or ‘Sohang’ or ‘The Word of God.’ If so, go with this glimpse of the Enlightenment of that which is One. It could also be that you ‘hear’ thoughts. But they will not disturb you from hearing eternal harmonies if that is what you want – nor from having visions of light, infinite sweetness or sublime intimacy.

Tasting the sweetness of oneness helps you not to focus on the world of the outward-facing senses. Thus glimpses of Enlightenment coming from the world of the inward-facing senses become the foundation for perceiving the world of the outward-facing senses. Since this, eventually, results in not perceiving the apparent differences to make a difference, there is no separation to hide that which is one. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

THE TASTE OF ONENESS
Tasting the most exquisite food, one is reminded about the taste of oneness, if not entirely in the world of the outward-facing senses. It can be compared to the transparent taste of the foam in a milkshake with a few drops of honey and maybe with a hint of either liquorice, strawberry, or mint. It can also be compared to how marshmallows – especially those with a flavour of strawberries – interact with the palate.

Some Chinese Herb Formulations or teas – for example Spring Dragon Longevity Tea – enhance the taste of oneness, provided you already are in touch with it. The same applies to the Ayurvedic teas, that Alexius have tasted and most teas including liquorice.

But it is best not to compare the taste of oneness or other glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One to anything else, as all comparisons are based on definitions from the past and, therefore, cancel out the ever-present glimpses of Enlightenment.

»Your lips drip nectar, my bride, honey and milk are under your tongue.« Song of Solomon 4:11.

»A land flowing with milk and honey« Exodus 3:8

»Whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never be thirsty, but the water that I shall give him shall be in him as a well of water springing up into everlasting life.« John 4:10-4:14.

Even though this taste is called the nectar of life in some scriptures, you should not expect it to make you younger or inject you with more energy in the world of the outward-facing senses. Getting more is an illusion based on the belief that there is more than that which is One.

One way of undoing this belief is not to focus because without it, the apparent differences in a world where there seems to be more than one become blurred. Thus different appearances do not seem to hide, there is no more than the formlessness of that which is one. Fortunately, the side-effect of doing the technique for the taste of oneness is defocusing.

The inner sense of taste not only stops the compulsive focusing on forms but also your cravings for sweets and to experience  something definable. The taste of life is always there and it is free. Neither do you have to meditate or be pure to consume it. All you have to do is to put your tongue behind the uvula. And if you cannot do that, it is also OK, because doing so is just meant to help you deactivating the outer senses and the only thing that really accomplish that, is the intention to do it. Just like even you are at a springboard, you will not dive from it, if that is not your intention of going there.

The inward fasing sense of taste does not only diminish the compulsive focusing on something definitive but also your cravings for more, for example sweets. The taste of oneness is always there. It is free, and you do not have to meditate or be pure to have it. All you have to do is to put your tongue behind the uvula and devote yourself to the taste of oneness. If you cannot get your tongue there, it is not a problem. Doing so is meant to help you deactivating the outward-facing senses and the only thing that really accomplish this, is the intention of doing it. In other words, reaching the uvula with your tongue is good enough. Actually, when you hold the underneath of your tongue on the soft area beneath the uvula you feel the empty breath (see What does ‘the empty breath’ feel like?) and get the sweet taste of oneness. This is not a metaphor, nor second-hand knowledge but Alexius’ experience from tasting the subleness of oneness on both sides of the uvula. As a result of this technique, the empty breath is activated. It expands the breathing, which makes the the body feel glorious. And the soft taste of oneness prevents you from focusing on the world of the outward-facing senses. Thus you feel absorded by the happiness of abstractness.

The taste of oneness unfolds under the tongue, when it is moved behind the uvula (the skin flap hanging down in the back of the mouth at the entrance to the throat). Placing it there makes you feel like you are not in the world even though you appear to be there. Besides it cutbacks the need to focus on the world of the outward–facing senses and also the longing for more, especially the craving for sweets. That is if you devote yourself to it – no techniques work without devotion. Yet devotion can work without a technique.

To get the tongue behind the uvula you may have to press it backwards for a long time, maybe for months, and finally use a finger to push it the rest of the way. However, this may make you feel as if you are about to vomit. No worries – it is just a feeling. When you are used to keeping your tongue there, it is easy, and there is no sense of vomiting.

»Khechari Mudra is turning the tongue backwards into the cavity of the cranium and turning the eyes inwards toward the eyebrow center.« Haha-Yoga Pradipika, Chapter 3, stanzas 32-37.

To taste the sweetness of oneness, called Khechari Mudray in the above quote, you do not have to literally replicate the ancient technique. Neither do you have to push the tongue behind the uvula as Alexius wrote above. Reaching the soft area underneath the front of the uvula with the backside of the tongue will do. See also the explanation in the above caption.

THERE IS NO WAY TO THE ENLIGHTENMENT OF THAT WHICH IS ONE BUT A LOT TO GLIMPSES OF IT
The
way to bid welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One or glimpses of its four facets is not to be pure. Neither is it about how you breathe, eat or anything else you appear to do in the world of the outward-facing senses. Still, things like that may be helpful to deactivate the outward-facing senses.

But no technique can do that if it is not the intention of executing it. In other words, the first step is solely about purpose. If that is to deactivate the outward-facing senses, many techniques may work. The second step is to devote yourself to the lucid journey in the world of the inward-facing senses.

These steps only apply to having glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One and not to welcome in its entirety, as it takes more than one to take any step.

The part of the world of the outer senses you want to experience is not meant to be blurry but in focus, so what you see is definable. It is the other way around with the world of the inner senses,. In other words, the two worlds does in most cases not work well together. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The part of the world of the outward-facing senses you want to experience is not supposed to be blurry. It must be in focus to make the experience is definable. It is the other way around in the world of the inward-facing senses. Your experiences there are abstract. Hence mixing the two worlds does not work out.

DAILY LIFE WITH GLIMPSES OF THE ENLIGHTENMENT OF THAT WHICH IS ONE
It is probably best not to be active in the world of the outward-facing senses while having visions of light. This is because the visual glimpses of Enlightenment can become so intense that the world of the outward-facing senses hardly is sensed.

However, the technique for tasting the sweetness of oneness can be carried out while being active in the world of the outward-facing senses. The same applies to enjoying the ethereal harmonies if you hear them without putting your thumbs in the ears. And it also applies to hearing or feeling the vibration that Aum, Sohang and The Word of God symbolise. See Life has no secrets.

This may result in the experience of a world that seems less defined. Not to the extent, though, that you cannot move around but that you feel you are carried around.

That is, as long as you do not take the full tour of these glimpses because it ends in the formlessness of oneness, thus no longer appearing as someone in a world where there seems to be more than one, nor in oneness since that requires more than one. You are not someone at all, so there is no memory or consciousness of ever having believed to be that. Instead, there is what always has been and will be, namely that which is one.

The Hebrew word Elohim was originally a symbol for one perpetual present.

The word god, which is a translation of the Hebrew word Elohim, was at first meant to be a metaphor for that which is one and never ends. Hence the word god was originally a symbol for one perpetual present. As this is not understandable, when you believe to be in a world of linear time, the meaning of the word gradually was changed, so that god became a symbol for one almighty force believed to have created the world defined by time and space in its own image.

But what is not definable cannot create something definable. Hence a world defined by time and space is an illusion and so is the perceived creator of such a world.

APPENDIX ABOUT THE QUOTES
The terminology of yoga and so-called holy scriptures – apart from The New Testament and Bhagavad Gita – is unknown to Alexius, so he does not know the scriptures from which the quotes in this article are taken. He found them by searching the internet.

When everything is included, there does not appear to be something outside you. Consequently, nor inside, as that requires there is something outside you. Hence there is nothing but the formlessness of oneness.

Alexius does not sympathise with Eastern or Western religions or new age philosophy. Generally, they exclude what they judged as wrong by projecting it onto non-believers to make them tainted and themselves pure. Yoga, for example, is often based on meditation, where you must exclude something deemed evil to become one. But oneness is formless, thus endless, so you can neither add nor subtract from it. If you try to do that, you enhance the belief that there is more than that which is One.

Prologue to the inward-facing senses, Enlightenment and its glimpses

Updated June 27, 2022

Inner visions of light of anything at all is not the enlightenment of that which is one, as it takes more than one to have a vision. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

It takes more than one to have a vision, so no matter how impressive it may be, it is not the Enlightenment of that which is One but glimpses of it. It is comparable to a movie trailer, a sample of the whole, thus not undivided. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The world of the outward-facing senses is experienced via seeing, hearing, feeling and tasting/smelling something that seems physical. The world of the inward-facing senses can also be seen, heard, felt and tasted. However, you do not get a sense of something tangible but abstract. It is also here that you bid welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One.

It comes through a hole that sometimes seems black. See the article The ins and outs of a black hole. But following the light into it is the end of both the outward and inward-facing senses. Hence the experience of something is over. Therefore, if you are aware of something, you are not in the Enlightenment of that which is One but outside, having glimpses of it via the inward-facing senses.

If you for a moment forget what and where you are you are, a world where there seems to be more than one does not seem to hide the enlightenment of that which is One.

You get inside the Enlightenment of that which is One when the glimpses of it are not perceived to differ because then is no separation to define you as someone definitive. Hence there is not somebody to fight the construction of thoughts that have replaced the formlessness of oneness with someone definitive is extracted by an exceptionally bright white light. Nor is there anybody to be aware of that everything you ever believed to be and have is gone. Consequently, there is nothing to gracefully fall through the hole that is no more because there is no experience to hide the formlessness of oneness.

Therefore, since what you believe in being has not been Enlightened, you appear to be the same if returning to the experience of being someone definitive. However, you do not believe this experience is real due to vague memories of formlessness. Hence you are to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One.

Since the Enlightenment of that which is One has no beginning and end, someone definitive cannot experience it. But glimpses of it – for example travelling through lucid worlds of light – have a beginning and an end, so they can be experienced by someone definitive. This is done through the inward-facing senses, when the outward ones are toned down.

The outward and inward-facing senses
The outward-facing senses are geared to experience a world perceived as outside you, thus separated from you, whereas the inward-facing senses help you experience a world that does not seem to be separated from you. But it does not mean this world is inside you. There is neither anything inside nor outside of you, as that requires more than one, and there is no more than that which is one.

It is the same within the context of a world where there seems to be more than one, because, scientifically speaking, it consists of empty space. Therefore, what you experience is make-believe – also reading reads that it may be easier to undone this deception by turning down the volume of the outward-facing senses, and turning up the volume of the inner ones.

If you seem to see an E here, you are using the E, you have made in your mind, to hide all the empty space.

If you believe in seeing an ‘E’ here, you focus on seeing something recognisable to twist empty space into something. The empty space is not the formlessness of oneness, but when you do not imagine it is a world defined by time and space, no substantial elements seem to hide the formlessness of oneness. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

PARTIAL DEVOTION TO THE INWARD-FACING SENSES RESULTS IN GLIMPSES OF ENLIGHTENMENT
If you do not constantly focus on something specific, the outward-facing senses cannot fabricate the experiences of a world defined by time and space. Therefore, the more you defocus, the more the definable world of the outward-facing senses is complemented by the abstract world of the inward-facing senses. Thus you get glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One. You see light shows if you are visual-minded, hear ethereal music if you are auditory minded, and taste or feel it if you are emotional minded.

In the article The four aspects of Enlightenment and how to sample them, you can read how to see, hear, feel and taste glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is One.

The purpose of the inward-facing senses is to draw you into their abstract world, thus undoing the belief of being someone definitive – like a moth cannot help but follow its attraction to the flame, even though it is going to be the end of it.

Mixing something is based on the belief in separation, so do not try to mix glimpses of light with glimpses of ethereal music, for example. Just welcome the glimpse of the Enlightenment of that which is One that seems to come your way. But do not try to hang onto a glimpse or to have it repeated. If it changes into another aspect of the Enlightenment of that which is One, go with that.

These glimpses, as already noted, are not the Enlightenment of that which is One because it has no room for someone being conscious of something since that requires more than one. This does not mean what you believe in being is transformed by the Enlightenment of that which is One into oneness. Instead, it is dismissed as an illusion.

Practically speaking, it might be best to downplay the visual glimpses of Enlightenment in daily life. It is because you will have a hard time navigating the world of the outward-facing senses while having visions of light. But in most cases, you can safely go with glimpses of hearing, feeling or tasting hearing, feeling or tasting the Enlightenment of that which is One.

The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The healing of the body caused by partly being devoted to the inward-facing senses is a side effect that helps you not worry about its appearance and inevitable end. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

THE INWARD-FACING SENSES AND THE BODY
Devotion to the inward-facing senses will heal your body because it will give the body the peace it needs to heal itself. This may not include genetically caused diseases, though. However, due to the tranquillity, the inward-facing senses entail, a genetically created condition does not generate fear. Thus it is easier to deal with (see hack #4.3 The toxic mix of physical and non-physical issues).

But suppose the body’s wellbeing is the purpose of devoting yourself to the inward-facing senses. In that case, you cannot be attentive to the world of the inward-facing senses since that requires having no specific focus, so the world of the inward-facing senses fades out without you even noticing it. Thus the body is not being nurtured by it.

TOTAL DEVOTION TO THE INWARD-FACING SENSES BIDS WELCOME THE ENLIGHTENMENT OF THAT WHICH IS ONE
Complete devotion to the inward-facing senses welcomes the Enlightenment of that which is One, which immediately erases all memories of you being someone definitive. As you are not there anymore and never were, there is nobody to know how long time this takes. Besides, the Enlightenment of that which is One is not a process but one perpetual present.

But at first, it may seem to be a process, and as long as that is the case, the brain that produced your experiences as someone definitive is not finished. Thus it can be rebooted and recreate the experience of you as someone definitive. But since it takes more than one to be anything, the reestablished experience cannot contain the Enlightenment of that which is One. So although you are to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One, you look like you used to. The only difference is that you know it is not you.

However, as soon as the Enlightenment of that which is One does not seem to be a process, the brain cannot be rebooted and, therefore, not produce the experience of you as a substantial being in a tangible world. Hence there is nothing to hide that which always has been and always will be that which is you, namely the formlessness of oneness. There is, of course, nobody to be aware of this since it takes more than one to be conscious of something.

In the water but not of it. The image is grabbed from the web

IS THE ENLIGHTENMENT OF THAT WHICH IS ONE REQUIRED TO UNDO THE BELIEF IN BEING SOMEONE?
The Enlightenment of that which is One can be said to be the last step back to the formlessness of oneness. Still, as formlessness is endless, you have never left it. Thus it is not about going back but realise how you hide the formlessness of oneness, namely by believing you are someone definitive.

As already mentioned, the Enlightenment of that which is One does that in a split second. But it can also be achieved while enjoying the world of the outward-facing senses. In the below box, there are some suggestions on how to do this:

The more you perceive the apparent differences in the world of the outward-facing senses to not make a difference, the more the outward-facing senses function as a set-off to that which is One (hack #3.2 Inclusiveness is freedom).

The same applies to pretending to be someone definitive (hack #1.3 Pretending to be someone definitive is liberation or seeing symbols of life in the world (hack #2.1 Everything experienced is a symbol of life).

And it also applies to being alone together, which does not mean that you are together with one or more who also are alone, but that you are alone together with your fantasy of a world where there seems to be more than one, no matter how many there seem to be around you (hack #7.1 Alone together, we go home).

The empty breath (HACK #5, A state of not-knowing is nothing but bliss) syncs the outward-facing senses with the inward-facing ones, so you over time are able to devote yourself so much to the glimpses of Enlightenment that they do not seem separated, wherefore the Enlightenment of that which is One sets in.

You do not even need Alexius’ Duality Hacks to have the belief in being someone undone. All that is necessary is not to remember what and where you are because then there is no belief in being someone definitive that appears to hide the formlessness of oneness.

There is no experience of love without the experience of hate, because you cannot know one without the other. Multitasking allows you to experience both emotions simultaneously, and so hate is as blissful as love. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The reason that so many avoid multitasking is that it leaves them no time to suppress anger and other feelings messing up the perfect image of themselves as somebody full of peace, compassion, inner strength and whatnot.

What they do not know, when keeping a specific feeling hidden – hate for example – is that they diminish the experience of its contrasts – in this case love – because you cannot have one without the other. See hack #4.4 The duality flow goes to non-duality.

Least of all do they know that when both sides of a contrast are equally acknowledge, their apparent difference makes no difference. Thus loving somebody is as blissful as to hate them.

Here the world of the inner senses are about to shift to bright white light, which is gonna extract all the info you have collected in order to appear as somebody and leave it at the edge at a black hole so that there is nobody to fall into the nothingness of that which is one. This is not compatible with appearing in a world, where there seems to be more than one, so if that is what you want, you better make sure the info making up your personality is not extracted or you know where to find it again. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

This image could be illustrating the last glimpse of the Enlightenment of that which is One before you give up seeing something specific. There is no transition from seeing glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One and getting into it. And since it is one perpetual present, you do not know when it extracts all the info making you appear as someone definitive so that nothing is sucked into a black hole where it gracefully falls into the formlessness of oneness. This is not compatible with appearing as someone definitive in a world defined by time and space, so if that is what you want, you better make sure that the info making up your appearance as someone definitive is not extracted which you prevent by going with the flow of fear. However, there is no fear in that which is One. It is impossible as it would require more than one. But it seems possible to imagine there is more than one, and going with the fear that this entails, you seem to leave it and instead be in a world where there seems to be more than one. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

MULTITASKING THE INWARD AND OUTWARD-FACING SENSES
Much devotion to the world of the inward-facing senses probably makes you spaced out in the world of the outward-facing senses. Yet, if you do not have to be present there, you go with the flow of the inward-facing senses, as if the world outside of you stands still.

But suppose you have to do something demanding in the world of the outward-facing senses. In that case, it is best to only devote yourself to that, so the abstractness of the inward-facing senses does not mess it up.

However, you can also multitask between the inner and outward-facing senses so that being loaded with glimpses of Enlightenment in the world of the inward-facing senses makes you indifferent to the constant demands in the world of the outward-facing senses.

When you multitask the world of the inner and outward-facing senses, thoughts are not considered to be yours. Thus nobody is going anywhere, even though it may appear so.

Multitasking is said to disturb the brain so that it is harder for it to focus on something specific. That is why it is beneficial regarding undoing the belief in being someone definitive  – especially the multitasking of the inner and outward-facing senses, which happens all by itself when connected with the empty breath. See The empty breath syncs the inward and outward-facing senses.

This is not a new religion or philosophy, that you must learn and strictly adhere to. On the contrary. It is about unlearning everything, so do not try to make sense of what you read.

A perfect moment with glimpses of enlightenment is something you are aware of. If you stop being aware of it, you cannot see any glimpse. There is nothing and that is where the enlightenment of that which is one sets in. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Glimpses of Enlightenment are something you are aware of. If you stop being aware of them or anything else, there is nothing to block out the Enlightenment of that which is One. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

WHERE DO GLIMPSES OF ENLIGHTENMENT COME FROM
Physically speaking, glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One seem to originate from a non-defined space behind the frequencies of thoughts near the pineal gland. It is probably also from there that you perceive the world when you are in a state of not-knowing.

The same applies when you pretend to be a person or perceive everything in the world as symbols of that which is One. The empty breath – sounding like sohang – is presumably picked up from there as well, physically speaking.

Furthermore, the pineal gland might work as a receiver for signals picked up by the eighth chakra, which has a magenta colour and is located above the head. Maybe the pineal gland or the eighth chakra is involved when experiencing glimpses of Enlightenment. You cannot know because you are blown out of the experience – and afterwards, you do not know where to look. And this is fine because focussing on the pineal will not bring about any of the above. It contracts the energy, so you feel boxed in as someone definitive. On the other hand, defocussing removes restrictions wherefore you do not feel limited to being someone specific.

How to ignite a take-off into ‘the empty breath’ [draft]

Updated April 13, 2022

When not trying to make sense of this image but going with its absurdity, the free-flowing energy of the experience spontaneously ignites a take-off into the empty breath and its bliss of emptiness, provided there is a willingness to forget what you believe in being. The image is grabbed from the web.

As soon as you have had enough of the frustration coming from keeping together a fantastic image of yourself and you do not try to edit or transform your feeling of desperation, the raw energy automatically ignites a take-off into the empty breath. Since it resides in nothing and your current experience of something is processed by the brain from what it imagined seeing in nothing one second ago (read more about that here), the take-off into the empty breath only takes one second.

In other words, when you connect with the empty breath, you go one second back in linear time to the nothingness the brain twisted into your present experience of something. But perceiving that with the empty breath, it is not seen as something, thus not confirming you as someone. Hence you are in the bliss of nothing.

In linear time, it may take a few more seconds, or many years, before there is nothing but the bliss of emptiness because out of reflex, you probably force the physical breath through the tensions in the body instead of going with the flow of the empty breath. It probably feels like the empty breath is an intruder you fight off with the physical breath.

However, this fight is make-believe. The empty breath does not see you as someone made of solid elements but of emptiness like itself. So when you stop fighting nothing, the empty breath passes what you believe is something problematic in the body as nothing. In other words, when going with the empty breath, you do not have to push your way through obstacles in the body or avoid them because the empty breath does not perceive them as something.

Nevertheless, the function of the empty breath is not to heal the body but the sick belief that there is someone in it. So although it may heal the painful areas of the body where they were made, namely nowhere, it is not the priority of the empty breath. This does not mean that the body should not be taken care of while you believe to be someone but that it is a physical matter, which the body can manage itself in many cases. If not, you consult a healthcare professional. See hack #4.3 The toxic mix of physical and non-physical issues.

It may at first feel like the empty breath sets off from an engine in the gut or the chest as it is an inner breath that slowly pumps air from there to extract the body (read more about that here). Hereafter it returns to the engine which seems to take its time before it pumps out air again, unaware of being inside and outside.

What you believe in being is nothing twisted by the brain into someone experiencing something. In the presence of the empty breath, which is nothing not been processed into something, you become indifferent to the experience of something, wherefore there is not something specific to define you as someone definitive. The animation is grabbed from the web.

Despite the empty breath being nothing, it is experienced like something in a world where everything is expected to be felt. You might experience it like having fun surfing yin-yang like waves in the rhythmic flow of the empty breath or being everywhere and nowhere in the sound of it, or joyfully moving with the swing of it, or being still in the abstractness behind its rhythmic flow. Read more about that in What does the empty breath feel like?

Although it may have been unedited speed and chaos that connected you with the empty breath, it is not a speedy or chaotic affair being connected. Instead, it is like you weightlessly walk on clouds. Think of being high up in the sky in an aeroplane. Although speed ignites the take-off and must be maintained to keep you in the air, it is not the speed you feel there but a relaxed experience of flying in clouds.

Regarding speed, whether connected with the empty breath or not, we are always moving extremely fast because the Earth, thus also us, is spinning at 1.000 miles an hour, and the entire planet is hurtling around the sun at 67.000 miles an hour. But having a static perception of ourselves, we do not feel the thrill of this, whereas having a perception in sync with the brain (read more about that here), we feel the speed and can use it to ignite a take-off into the empty breath.

However, the ways described in this article and the other ones in hack #5.1 Uncontrolled speed leads to a state of not-knowing are generally not geared for a self in sync with the brain but one out of sync. Most are drawn in by the excitement they imagine getting from doing things their special way.

Even though the result is frustration and not the relaxation coming from being in sync with the brain, they insist on their way because in a world where being special, bitchy and having something extraordinary is the standard, being independent of the brain seems to be their only chance of becoming important. Thus hack #5.1 Uncontrolled speed leads to a state of not-knowing is mostly about using stress and speedy thoughts for take-off into the empty breath.

Read more about the two kinds of self in hack #4.1 The basic self versus the special one.

Let us imagine, you have covered your eyes with your hand, so you can indulge in daydreaming aboutbeing in a world that revolves around you without being disturbed by the world outside of you. Though it feels great to be in a fantasy where everything turns out the way you want, it also feels strange to be cut off from the actual world.

So when you want to see the world as it is and not as you imagine it could be, and you sense it is your own hand that stops you from doing so, you automatically remove it. In other words, the built-up frustration of not seeing what is real and the realisation that your own hand hides it, makes you remove your hand so you can see the world as it is.

You may not only sense the bare feet that have made the footprints in this photo but also the body they belong to. Yet there is no feet or entity in the image, and nobody makes footprints like those. Hence what you sense is a construction of thoughts. Read more about that here. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

HAVING HAD ENOUGH IGNITES A TAKE-OFF INTO THE EMPTY BREATH
The process in the above box resembles the way a take-off into the empty breath is ignited. The perception of your experiences as something hides they are a fantasy made from nothing. This perception, which is to be compared to the hand in the above box, is made from selected thoughts organised into a spiritual or mundane vocabulary that you share with like-minded ones to confirm each other as real and not a fantasy of the brain. Read more about this here.

When you have had enough of the confusion that comes from this misperception, you loosen the grip on the selected thoughts, making it up. Thus you start to see that being someone is a daydream. When you are fed up with living a fantasy, your frustration ignites a take-off into the empty breath. In its emptiness, you are still in the world of something. However, the experiences of something are perceived as nothing. Therefore, since you are not attributed with a specific meaning, you are in a state of not-knowing.

The empty breath cannot be experienced as something definitive because it resides in the nothingness unprocessed by the brain. Hence you do not notice it if you want to experience something specific.

Thus there is no awareness of the bliss that comes from being nobody. But memories of it pop up when you return to the experience of being somebody. This you must do at the latest 20 minutes, 45 at most, after entering a state of not-knowing if you want to be able to go on in the world of something. Read more about that here. Returning from nothing to something, the slate is wiped clean, so even though it feels like you had a unique experience, you are nothing special. Instead, you are the basic self you always were supposed to be. Thus you feel happy.

The connectedness with the empty breath does not come from meditating, chanting, or any other self-control technique because control enhances the belief in being someone definitive. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Since this happiness does not come from something in particular but from being in sync with the brain (see hack #4.1 The basic self versus the special one), there is no need to always perceive an experience as something specific. Thus, now and then, there does not appear to be something to hide the bliss of nothing. In other words, you automatically go back and forth between a state of not-knowing and the conscious experience of being someone. See To be nobody and yet somebody.

Are you confused about how to connect with the empty breath? If so, do not try to clear up the turmoil but go with its unedited energy to ignite a take-off into the empty breath. In the previous or following articles of hack #5.1 Uncontrolled speed leads to a state of not-knowing, you can read more about that. But be aware that you will never get to know how to connect with the empty breath. It is not something but nothing, and you cannot learn how to connect with nothing. But if you forget what and where you appear to be, you do not need to connect because then there does not appear to be something hiding that you are nothing.

THE PURPOSE OF ALEXIUS’ DUALITY HACKS
There is no reason to diligently learn all the duality hacks for undoing the belief in being someone definitive. None of them is a goal in themselves – nor do they lead to the target. There is no destination because you are already there.

Hence the purpose of applying one or more of Alexius’ Duality Hacks is not to return to that which is One but to expose the belief that seems to hide it, namely that it is possible to be and have more than that which is One.

You undo the belief in duality by enjoying it [draft]

Updated June 28, 2022

Anything perceived as good is just as bad because everything comes in pairs of opposites in a world of duality. That is why you do not get the duality flow if you try to hold onto being hurt, for example, to prove you are a victim of somebody evil. Instead, you go with the interplay of feeling hurt and okay in which they define each other. Thus not tangible anymore but airy because that is the nature of the psychological sphere where they are identified. Consequently, they build up the duality flow. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

In most cases, you do not have to read Alexius’ Duality Hacks in a particular order. But in the case of this article, you may benefit from having read hack #4.3 The toxic mix of physical and non-physical issues.

PREFACE:
You need to be true to the nature of dualism to undo the belief that you are someone in a world of duality. Hence you should not go for singularity but twofoldness. If you try to stay in an unparalleled state of mind, you are unaccompanied. And since you can only depart from non-duality by envisioning there is more than one, this is also the way you return. Therefore, if you insist on singularity, you remain in the simulated world of duality.

PART 1:
In the duality flow, it is not a matter of what you feel but being aware of it. Thus your singular feeling can reveal it contains its counterpart. For example, inside of love, there is hate. They need each other to be defined, and they do that by constantly interacting. Any minute though, hatred may show that it can also be defined by kindness. Then this twofoldness replaces the former until kindness reveals it can also complement selfishness. And so it goes until you want to make a difference and leave the duality flow by having an inner dialogue about being something remarkable.

This continues till you are fed up with the hectic stream of thoughts required to establish yourself as special. Hence what you feel can be perceived as ‘it is what it is,’ revealing your emotion is not singular but twofold, wherefore you you are back in the duality flow.

The Earth goes around itself every day. Since it is solely a physical matter, everybody follows along regardless of their psychological issues. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

If something seems to have gone wrong, you may panic and think about how to make it better. But, like you must follow the Earth on its predestined ride around the sun, you are bound follow the brain’s script for what and where you appear to be. Hence there is nothing you can change. See hack #4.2 The brain’s script and how to perceive it to feel happyTherefore, instead of judging yourself for having failed, thus feeling inferior, go with the duality flow. Doing that, you feel complete becuse failure interacts with success.

Please be aware it is a waste of time looking for your present emotion in the body. It is solely physical, thus without anything psychological. You could also say the body is visible, whereas psychological emotions are invisible, and visibility and invisibility do not blend.

Since connecting psychological issues with physical ones is a fantasy, you undo it by reversing it.

So if you have projected emotional issues onto the body with the assumption that you can hide them there, you better start correcting this fantasy by recognising them where they were conceived, namely in the non-physical psychological sphere. Facing them there, they gently open up and reveal they are not singular but twofold. Thus there is no specific psychological issue to bother you.

The first time this happened for Alexius was during a gentle massage. But it was not before much later he put words to it and realised perceiving your present feeling in the psychological sphere as ‘it is what it is’ reveals it is not singular but twofold. Thus being in sync with duality, you feel completely relaxed.

If you suffer from somebody dying, you believe in separation. You do not correct this by replacing suffering with something pleasant. On the contrary. You acknowledge the suffering so it can be perceived as ‘it is what it is.’ Since that reveals the feeling is not singular but twofold, you do not feel alone but together.

This is a picture of Alexius’ beloved cat, who died only eight months old and left Alexius crying for ages. Fortunately, weeping is coupled with happiness, so crying makes him remember all the happy times they had together and still have in the airy psychological sphere where a meeting takes place. This does not mean he has no wish to see her physically. He longs for her. But then again, that feeling is in the psychological sphere – and that is where she is. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Lately, it happened when Alexius’ cat died. Since he could feel the loss in his body, he knew something was wrong. A dead cat does not have the power to create sensations in his body. Therefore, as it could only be something he unconsciously had projected onto his body, he consciously brought it back into the psychological sphere. There the feeling of loss was revealed to be coupled with birth.

So although he had lost his cat, physically speaking, she was delivered to him in the psychological zone. Actually, she had been in that airy sphere all the time because whether a cat is alive or dead, you have no physical connection. Therefore, since Alexius got into the interaction of life and death in the psychological area, he felt happy/sad with his cat.

In other words, the death of his beloved cat turned out to be a blessing because it made it impossible for him to project psychological issues on her physical being. Hence, he and she got back into the psychological sphere, where they had been all the time and will remain until the experience of duality is over. It is not about beating off the body. On the contrary, it frees the body from mental ideas about integration with non-physical issues. Thus the body can blossom physically.

Furthermore, this approach makes it easy to return to non-duality because when the time comes for leaving duality, you return to non-duality as you left it alone together. See hack #7.1 Alone together we go home.

To resume, if you want to feel good in a world of duality, do not use the body as a means to feel that. Happiness is in the psychological sphere, in an ongoing interaction with sadness. When you join their interplay, the duality flow vitalises you.

Even though Alexius’ cat Uma is dead, Alexius connects with her through this picture or any other kind of memory because everything he believes in being is in the airy psychological sphere. Although he cannot see Uma there, physically speaking, he can feel what he experienced they had together. It is a bit like listening to the ocean’s waves without seeing them. But at first, it was not what Alexius assumed they had together he got in touch with, but the sorrow of having missed her. However, this was only until he realised that his mourning for Uma contained her. The moment she died in his arms, and any other moment remains in the psychological zone. Thus Uma is as close as she always has been and will be. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

INTERLUDE:
Having the counterpart of a singular feeling revealed is not an intellectual process. First, you perceive the specific feeling as ‘it is what it is.’ Second, in a state of expectation, calling for nothing specific, you patiently wait a few seconds. Third, your singular feeling opens up, and its counterpart fills its space.

The transition is so gentle that you forget the initial feeling. But unlike that, the new one does not seem singular because it is defined by the first one. This change is as automatic as breathing in and out. One automatically leads to the other. However, you may forget the elements in a duality pair. But you do not forget how well-grounded and beloved you feel in the interplay of its opposites.

Every time you go with the interaction in a duality pair, breathing becomes so dynamic that more pairs shows up.

PART 2:
At first, you may get to the duality flow through the perception, ‘it is what it is,’ but, after a while, you can recall it by memory. You choose to enjoy the interaction of the opposing element in a duality pair instead of dividing them into separate components assumed to be at odds. In other words, you choose to feel the abundance of the duality flow and not the scarcity of separation.

However, it took Alexius some time to not remain with one of the opposite sides in a duality pair but instead go with their interaction in which, like breathing in and out, they support each other. But unlike this duality pair, most are quickly replaced by another. Fortunately, that is not a problem. The duality flow comes from the constant movement between opposites in a duality pair regardless of the components. And this interaction always makes you feel complete.

Being in the duality flow is a bit like listening to the ocean’s waves. You feel vitalised. However, if you insist on doing things your way, you soon feel restless because something needs to be adjusted to make it look like everything is going your way. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The duality flow reminds Alexius of the physical sensation he remembers from his childhood when he tried drinking coca-cola. It was like it turned his body into bubbles. His experience of the duality flow can also be described as his body being an ocean of waves gracefully going nowhere – or like drops of warm water gently touching the body. Sometimes it feels like a pendulum moves in different directions in a body with no definite border. Feelings, though, are personal, so your experience of the duality flow may differ from Alexius.’ Nevertheless, you know you are in the duality flow when you keep smiling for no particular reason.

That said, the duality flow is new to Alexius. It came to him late in writing Alexius’ Duality Hacks. He discovered it when he wrote a little article that slowly into the eleven pieces of hack #4.4 The duality flow goes to non-duality.

When you start perceiving your reaction to something as ‘it is what it is’, it is probably the revelation that it is not singular but twofold that blows your conditioned opinions away. But later on, it is the collaboration of opposites, resulting in the duality flow, that overflow every definitive statement.

In the beginning, he did not experience the duality flow. Instead, he remembered the hellish or heavenly feeling that comes from a single-minded perception. See Sadness is a close friend of gladness. But you probably surpass focussing on the individual components of the duality pairs much faster than Alexius did and quickly get the vitalisation of the duality flow because he has paved the way.

The idea of singularity does not apply to non–duality because for oneness to be experienced, there must be more than one, and there is no more than One in non-duality. Nor does the idea of oneness apply to a world of duality, as everything in it is twofold. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

PART 3:
None of the opposing elements in the duality flow remains for long. One can compare this to a seesaw on a playground, where one person goes up as the other goes down. If you try holding onto the top by avoiding going down, the feeling you get is fake because you need to go back and forth to define what is up and down – just like there is nothing to describe breathing in if you do not breathe out

Twofoldness is always the way in a world where there seems to be more than one. For example, walking requires two legs. And to take a step forward, you must include the past because it is the building stone for your future step. Therefore, if you exclude one of the legs, you cannot walk.

Likewise, if you exclude hate from love, you do not hit the road of duality. Hence you do not get the togetherness of twofoldness but the loneliness of singleness. This may feel like a non-concrete pain in the body, even though it does not come from there but from the psychological sphere. There you hold yourself spellbound by the idea that twofoldness can be separated into independent items, and hate, therefore, can be separated from love.

First, you imagine to dump your unwanted feelings in the body. Second, you tighten up the body to hide the feelings imagined you stored in it. Third, you interpret the tightened body as proof of having concealed your unwanted feelings there. Fourth, you forget all about it.

This you achieve by projecting your hatred onto a part of the body that you dislike. Then you lure yourself into believing you have gotten rid of hate by feeling it as a physical problem in the body. Finally, you render yourself unconscious of what you have done to see yourself as nothing but love. But emotions are abstract, and bodies are substantial, so assuming you can dump feelings in flesh and bones is absurd. In other words, since you cannot remove hatred from your awareness by dumping it in your body, what you assume to disturb you in the body is not there but in the psychological sphere.

Since the psychological area is abstract, you contact a repressed psychological emotion anywhere other than in something physical. There is no need to go down memory lane to find your forgotten feelings or understand why you attempted to hide them in the body. You simply perceive the disgust you repeatedly experience to something in the present as ‘it is what it is.’ Thus, as you know from reading the above, aversion is revealed to interact with sympathy, thus defining each other as your personal feelings.

Realising that all feelings are personal, everything happening is understood as impersonal. Therefore, suppressing specific feelings to hold onto a self-made version of the world defined by your views of right and wrong is over. Instead, you go with the duality flow.

Nobody has lasting emotions unless they suppress them by storing them in the body, so they seem to become substantial. But what you assume to get by doing this is not natural. Feelings are fleeting because they reside in the psychological zone, which is like air. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

In this article, we have talked about a common way to get rid of emotions judged as wrong by dumping them in the body. But emotions deemed good are also dropped in the body. In this case, the body is not used to hide them but make them appear more substantial and lasting. Read more about that in You must play the game of duality to have it undone.

Notes on feelings [draft]

Updated June 28, 2022

Pinching yourself in the arm, the brain registers a physical feeling. Hence you conclude, you are alive. But since the brain creates the experience of the physical sensation, this conclusion does not prove you exist as someone substantial in a tangible world outside the brain – just like regardless of where you experience being in a dream, you are not there but in your bed. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

»If you’re sitting in a safe and comfortable position, close your eyes and try to feel your heart beating in your chest. Can you, without moving your hands to take your pulse, feel each movement and count its rhythm? Or do you struggle to detect anything at all? This simple test is just one way to assess your ‘interoception’ – your brain’s perception of your body’s state, transmitted from receptors on all your internal organs … There’s a constant communication dialogue between the brain and the viscera (internal organs).«

The above test if the connection between the brain and the body works in you. It is from an article in the Guardian, Interoception: the hidden sense that shapes wellbeing. Like in Alexius’ Duality Hacks the article concludes that many people have cut off the link between the body and the brain. And since the latter controls the body, it is left without guidance.

According to Alexius’ Duality Hacks, this connection must be re-established so the body parts do not act independently of the brain but work as a group governed by it. But the article in the Guardian has another conclusion. It says you need to master the body, and in doing so, you are in touch with its signals and thus your feelings because they are in the body.

But believing you are the master is the root of the problem. To become a master, the natural connection between the body and the brain must be cut off to take over the governing of the body and impose your ideas of what you are and feel. Read more about that in hack #4.3 The toxic mix of physical and non-physical issues.

This is ridiculous because what you believe in being and feeling is based on selected experiences produced by the brain. You are nothing but a product fabricated and conducted by the brain. Thus feelings do not come from the heart, like you may claim, or anywhere else than the brain. It governs the body and what you appear to be – also if that is perceived as spiritual.

For sure, you fall off the planet if you interfere with gravity. And you mess up the body when you disrupt or meddle with its ongoing communication with the brain. In short, in the game of duality, the brain is the game master. You cannot change that, but you can have plenty of fun following the game master. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Therefore, to feel good as someone in the game of the brain, you must step aside and let it do its thing. This does not mean you do not engage in the game but that you have no intention of changing it. Like when you play a computer game. You cannot change it. But since you are engaged in the plot, you feel entertained.

To spell it out, you are not a master but a servant. You serve the brain by perceiving your reaction to the experiences it produces as ‘it is what it is’ because that reveals your response is twofold. Therefore, since the world of the brain is dual, you are in sync with it, which feels natural.

However, if you do not want to play the game of duality, you are free to leave it. But you cannot do that unless you play it. And since participating involves feeling it dualistically, we go on in the below looking at feelings.

As usual, we do not begin anywhere specific or end with a conclusion. Alexius’ Duality Hacks has nothing to establish because they know they are as illusionary as anything else in a world of duality. Still, reading the below ragbag of clips may help you see this includes what you believe in being.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

This article is not about Enlightenment or the reality of oneness, but the duality rules because you have opted for duality instead of non-duality. And to undo this decision entirely, you must live fully with the duality rules. Fortunately, this is easy when you do not suppress aggression, for example, but go with the interaction of that and peace as you go with breathing in and out.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

You cannot breathe out before you breathe in and vice versa. In other words, you cannot have one without the other. This is how duality works. Everything comes in pairs. Acknowledging that, you feel complete. But if you try to divide the pairs into separate elements, you feel incomplete.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

To prevent being touched by the duality flow, you make sure everything in your environment is adjusted to the rules of Feng Shui or another totalitarian system. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

It is of no help to deny feelings and instead focus on their energies if you want to undo the belief in duality because it is based on feeling it.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The main reason most suppress negative feelings is not the fear of others but of themselves. This is because they fear negative feelings are dangerous to express. It often starts in childhood. For example, when Alexius was a kid, his father beat him if he said or did something his father judged offensive. Thus Alexius was afraid to voice his negative emotions accidentally.

But just like the negative pole in electricity is as important as the positive one. You need negative feelings as much as positive ones in a world of duality. If you avoid the negative ones, you deteriorate, whereas you blossom if you approve of them. Read more about that in Alexius’ Childhood.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Since that which is One is formless, thus endless, that which is you is the same. Therefore, appearing to be someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one is an illusion. And so is any perception of oneness there. Yet, many try to replicate it by having one love, one home, one god and so on.

However, a world where there seem to be more than one needs contrasts to be experienced. Thus everything comes in pairs of opposing elements. You cannot change this. But you can suppress negativity, for example, to appear indivisibility positive. But since this singleness is constructed by excluding something, it is not based on oneness but on separation, wherefore it entails loneliness.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

You will be mistaken about yourself if you do not side with both up and down. Feeling down without getting the interaction of that and going up, you feel sad. Mainly going up and using it to deny feeling down, you feel insecure. But if you go with the interaction of up and down, you are not definitive but relative. Thus you are neither happy nor sad but happy/sad. However, only for a moment because another soon replaces that polarity, so you keep feeling vitalised by the duality flow.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

You do not breathe in and out to find a balance between expansion and contraction. Neither do you need to find a balance between body and brain. What you need is to let the brain do its thing so you, in a laid-back fashion, can enjoy being someone in its game of duality. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

To feel something definitive is to separate. Hence you stop separating when you do not insist on feeling something specific. This is done by perceiving the meaning you assigned to your response to something as ‘it is what it is.’ This reveals that what you decided it meant is not set in stone because its counterpart complements it. So if you thought you were sad, it turns out you are also happy.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Feeling wrong is your own decision because your emotions are shaped by how you perceive your reaction to something. But if you decide not to perceive your reaction as specific, the brain automatically takes over and perceives it as ‘it is what it is.’ And since the brain operates in pairs, your reaction is twofold. Therefore, as sadness is paired with happiness, you are in the interplay of happiness and sadness. This polarity, like any other, makes you feel complete.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

No matter what you plan, visualise or realise, everything plays out as programmed by the brain. You have no say in that. However, it is your choice how to perceive it. So if you feel you suffer, you have chosen to perceive the brain’s play in a way that seems evil.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

When you hand your interpretation of something over to the brain, it will shape it so you feel entertained because that is the purpose of everything it sets in motion.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

When you do not project psychological issues onto the body, they do not seem to be hidden from your awareness. Hence you can perceive your reaction to them as ‘it is what it is,’ revealing it is twofold. Therefore, since nothing specific seems to make you suffer, there is no pain to project onto the body. Instead, it stays in the psychological sphere. But not for long because it is an airy sphere, so everything there is fleeting.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

If you believe you suffer because of something, you are mistaken. Suffering comes from the way you have decided to interpret something. Therefore, if you suffer, you have chosen to assign specific experiences with a meaning that seems hurtful.

It is not solved by changing your interpretation but by not insisting that it is definitive. This you achieve when perceiving your conditioned explanation as ‘it is what it is’ because that reveals it is not on its own. Instead, it is coupled with its counterpart. And since everything comes in pairs in a world of duality, you feel at home when you realise your interpretation is twofold.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

It´s very easy to choose not to store thoughts, so you are empty, if you don´t have a need to uphold a certain image of yourself.

If you are full of thoughts, you are busy assigning meaning to your experiences. However, none of your experiences means anything. Their only purpose is to entertain you. Being that, there is no need to look for thoughts to explain something. Hence you do not have a bad time. On the contrary, you feel amused. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

None of your psychological feelings is caused by something or somebody in the world that appears to be outside of you. Nothing but yourself has the power to make you suffer. So if you feel desperate, there is something going on in you which bothers you because it disturbs the image you have made of yourself. In other words, if you do not want to suffer, do not try to be somebody specific.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Since what and where you experience being in the world of a dream is not there, the effect it seems to have on you is produced in yourself. The same applies to what you feel in the physical world. Your memories cause all feelings. Anger, for example, only appears to be caused by a world outside of you because you project this and other feelings onto it to construct a coherent and meaningful story, where your feelings seem to prove you are alive. But your story is just as absurd as your dreams.

There is nothing to learn from your experiences, whether they seem to be dreamy, mundane or spiritual. Their only purpose is to make you feel entertained, which they do when perceived as twofold.

The above does not mean that physical life is a dream because, within the context of physical life, someone has a dream, but nobody has a physical life. Oneness is formless, thus endless, so there is nothing physical, nor anybody making a story about it as that takes more than one, and there is no more than that which is one.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Should noisy music from the neighbour seems to make you upset, it is not because of the music but the feelings going on in you at that moment. If your response to those feelings is perceived as ‘it is what it is,’ it turns out to be twofold. Hence you feel disturbed but also stimulated. This interchange of opposites is the duality flow. Read more about that in the following articles.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

To feel is not to exist because it takes more than one to feel something, and life is that which is One. In other words, it is not possible to feel something unless one imagines being in a world where there seems to be more than one. Can you feel it? Of course, you can. You are reading this. That means you think it is possible to be and have more than that which is One, and you uphold this illusion as ‘real’ by feeling it.

You undo this mistake by acknowledging what you feel. Next, you perceive your reaction to it as ‘it is what it is.’ This reveals your response is not singular but twofold. Then, you do not focus on the two elements making up your reaction but go with their interaction, which is the duality flow. Remaining in that, you feel so complete that, eventually, the experience of more than one is dismissed as real.

Alexius’ childhood [rough draft]

Updated June 19, 2022

During childhood, we learn to alter our emotions, thus being the nice kid who never say or do anything that will make our parents unconfortable. Read more about pleasing your parents here. But everything comes in pairs in a world of duality. Therefore, since feelings never show up in a specific but dualistic way, you mess up duality by suppressing the unpleasant ones. This makes you feel disconnected, whereas going with the twofoldness of emotions, love and hate for example, makes you feel connected. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

This article is a continuation of ‘What if…?’ versus ‘it is what it is’. Hence it is about the perception ‘it is what it is,’ which reveals that every experience is dual. This is is so entertaining that, eventuality, you forget about duality.

Our present perception of ourselves and others is often based on one we made in the past. In the case of Alexius, in his childhood, he interpreted lots of experiences in a way that made him scared. To get rid of his fear, he projected it onto something outside of himself that he judged as horrible.

Later on, this method became his way of disassociating himself from his unpleasant feelings. Apart from making him feel better, deciding what was wrong in the world made him feel like being on top of it. Especially, because he also got rid of his affectionate feelings in the same manner. In this case, though, he projected them onto something he decided to see as wonderful.

This seemed to work great, except when Alexius felt so bothered by something that his suppressed fear flared out in verbal attacks on others. Although his emotional explosion was not physically violent, his outbursts seemed as wild as when his father in Alexius’ childhood hit him across the dinner table or wherever he lost his temper. Since Alexius assumed this happened because he was unlovable, his original devotion and admiration for his father turned into hatred and disgust, which Alexius justified by constantly finding flaws in his father.

But since doing so, psychological speaking was an attack on his father, Alexius felt ashamed he was just as hostile as his father. Thus he right away hid his hostility from his awareness by projecting it onto his stomach. And then he unconsciously tightened the shoulders to hinder the breath from fully extracting, thus blocking the free flow of info from the body to the brain. Hence he could interpret the body’s signals as attacks on himself, thereby justifying his grievances.

Another reason for distancing himself from his aggression was that if Alexius had stood by it, he may have hit his father, which was all his father needed to burst out in a rage so violent that it could have been the end of Alexius. Therefore, the only defence Alexius had was silence. On top of that, Alexius tried to look like a victim by getting moody and sick to make his father feel guilty for how he treated him (read more about making others feel guilty here).

However, this did not seem to work on his father – only on Alexius because unconsciously, he knew they were the same. They both used each other as a scapegoat for their inner demon. In Alexius’ case, he first tried to hide it from his awareness by projecting it onto the darkness of the body, and when the suppressed energy exploded, he projected the unpleasantness onto his father. Since this is the most common way to get rid of psychological feelings, his father probably did it the same way. But this Alexius cannot know.

Be aware that this story of Alexius’ childhood in is a very short version. So if progress seems to be quick, it is not so. There probably was no progress before Alexius, about 20 years old, bid the Enlightenment of that which is One welcome. But even after that, it took a long time because the Enlightenment of that which is One has no effect as that requires more than one. However, progress was effortless. Here is a photo from the beginning of the story set up by Alexius’ parents, restored digitally by Alexius. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Nor can he know if his description of his childhood is correct because it is done in retrospect. Besides, he is neither a physician nor a psychologist.* However, it seems he used the physical problems that arose from his congenital disability in the vertebrae to disguise his aggression and the events that appeared to have caused it in his childhood.

Since the malfunctioning vertebra pressed on a nerve going to the stomach, it was easy for him to use his bloated stomach as a hiding place for the shame he felt for being exploited by his mother. She used Alexius when he was petite and adorable as an object to give her the bodily affection his father could not provide her. Due to Alexius’ bloated stomach, the diaphragm hardened. And since it is the primary mover of the breath, his chest turned to stone. Thus it seemed the obvious place to hide his naivety and devotion, so his natural generosity would not cause him to be preyed on in the future.

Alexius grew up in a war zone, in the sense that his father suddenly hit him. His mother did nothing to stop it, so he felt terrified and completely alone. In an attempt to disassociate himself from the feelings of horror, Alexius decided to see his father as evil and himself as good. By disassociating himself from being evil, he also separated himself from being lovely because that is defined by evil. Thus he looked for something beautiful outside of himself. But that was difficult. Mostly he judged what he saw as horrible. Alexius finally realised that the reason for this was the suppressed darkness inside himself. Fortunately, not suppressing it revealed there was also lightness because light and darkness are like two sides of the same coin in a world of duality. This polarity, and those that naturally followed, made him feel complete. Hence there was no fear of feeling evil and thus no need to hide it by perceiving the world as horrible. Consequently, the apparent difference between himself and the world he used to judge as either horrific or beautiful stopped making a difference. Maybe that is why he writes Alexius´ Duality Hacks. He does not know. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

However, since Alexius did not feel cherished with his compassion locked down, he concluded others would only love him if he gave them what they wanted. This seemed to be an unsolvable dilemma, so instead of saying no to others, Alexius walked away, closing down his gift of empathy. But that was probably for the best for a kid because otherwise, others would have exploited him entirely.

But let us delve further into Alexius’ relationship with his father, who he perceived as the devil responsible for the evil he experienced in himself. Since Alexius did not want to realise it was his own shit he saw in his father, he hid his inner demon in the neck that had collapsed due to the malfunctioning vertebra.

Therefore, since the beast inside had been blocked from his awareness, he could hold onto a mental concept of himself as guiltless. He did not choose that because he could not embrace his darkness, but because Alexius thought he had to be above reproach to be loved by his parents. But as his parents only loved the image he had made, he felt lonely and complained about not being seen.

He repressed he had chosen to hide behind a false front of being lovesome by hiding what he assumed unlovable in problematic areas of his body. So when hatred popped, he interpreted the disturbance as a physical issue in the part of the body where he initially imagined hiding his hate. Therefore, since the resulting psychosomatic disorders became an unsolvable mystery, the helpless little boy full of sorrow, rage and fear remained hidden in the darkness of Alexius’ body. In hack #4.3 The toxic mix of physical and non-physical issues, you can read more about using the body as a means to hide your feelings from your awareness.

You cannot appear in the world without pretending to be a person there. But the more you add to this pretending, the more you end up believing that you are what you pretend to be instead of that which is real. It happens to all of us. In the case of Alexius, it started when he was about six years old. Undoing it began 15 years later when he stepped aside to bid welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One.

When you do not try to hide sexual lust, grievances, envy, anger, negativity or whatever you consider politically incorrect, your thoughts and feelings regarding this are revealed to come in pairs. Negative thoughts, for example, come paired with positive ones. You already know this because again and again, one part of you senses something as good and right away, another part sees it as bad. If you do not try to decide between them but join their interplay, you feel as entertained by this polarity as any other. The more you experience everything in pairs, the less dangerous it is to be angry. Actually, you feel relieved because it is complemented with calmness. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

But after he became one who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One about 50 years ago (see hack #6.1 The Enlightenment of that which is One), his single-minded perception of being either horrible or wonderful was revealed as two-fold. Out of the inner unpleasantness came pleasantness and vice versa. He did not hold onto the specific feelings in this polarity but their interplay. It made him feel complete and not fragmented, like when he insisted on dividing a duality pair into separated elements

The higher you aim, the lower you must prepare to go because, in a world of duality, everything comes in pairs of opposing elements.

Going with the constant interaction of opposites, which 50 years later was entitled the duality flow, he had no singular feelings to hide. Thus there was no basis for concealing psychological problems in his body anymore. Therefore, since his psychosomatic disorders were reduced to physical issues, they could be fixed physically. Maybe not entirely, but at least to the extent that the experience of being someone inside a body became more comfortable. Read more about that in Sadness is a close friend of gladness.

Nevertheless, out of habit, his old single-minded point of view is often the first choice when he is confronted with something new. But right away, he remembers that everything comes in pairs of opposing elements that define each other in a world of duality. Then, as from an invisible crack in his conditioned feeling of disgust, a sense of delight unfolds.

He may not notice that the interaction of this polarity soon fades out because it sets off the experience of other duality pairs, for example, humility and boldness, serenity and lust, calmness and confusion, union and separation, and so on. This is so satisfactory that he does not sense when the interplay of one polarity is over and another sets off. The beginning and end are another interaction of opposites that makes him feel complete.

Not trying to control the future, thoughts become unimportant. Hence they turn into insignificant noise in the background. Read more about that here.

Alexius is taking a break in the primordial forest of La Gomera. He does not label his dualistic reaction to this. Being someone somewhere is enough to feel the togetherness of twofoldness, thus going with the duality flow and having glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Nor does Alexius usually remember the names of opposing elements in the duality pairs he encounters. Going with the interaction of opposites, duality does not have to be labelled (read more about that here) – like one does not need to label the sides of a coin to sense its twofoldness. Thus thoughts are reduced to insignificant jabber in the background. See also Happiness comes from not interfering with thoughts and emotions, whereas sadness comes from trying to do that.

In a world of duality, a holistic experience is not singular but dualistic. In non-duality there is no wholemness to experience, as it takes more than one to be aware of something.

In other words, even though the experience of duality is imaginary (read more about that here), within the apparent reality of it, you feel incomplete if you separate the opposing elements making up the duality pairs. And you feel complete when you go with their interaction – just like the interplay of breathing in and out makes you fulfilled. That is if you do not try to break off this flow of duality by dividing the breath into specific sections via yoga exercises, for example.

You do not have to be someone who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One to feel completed by dualism. All you need is to perceive your specific opinion of something as ‘it is what it is.’ This reveals it is twofold – for example happy/sad or angry/calm – so you get the satisfaction of duality. We explore this in the following article, The togetherness of twofoldness undoes the separateness of specialness. This article ends with the below note about the Enlightenment of that which is One.

This is a simulation Alexius painted on his iPhone of the moment where the Enlightenment of that which is One is experienced to break out of a black hole, whereafter all experiences, including what you believed in being, is erased. Hence there is nobody to know that nothing falls through a black hole into everything. Read more about that here. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Bidding welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One is a bit like getting to the point of orgasm. Nothing else matters. But whereas an orgasm is driven by the desire for something, the absence of it is the propellant of the Enlightenment of that which is One.

This does not mean, you have to become purer by avoiding sex or anything else, nor do you have to be harmonious, physically fit or breathe in a special way. All that is needed is to forget what and where you are because the Enlightenment of that which is One does not know of  anything definable.

For the same reason, the Enlightenment of that which is One has not changed what you appear to be if you return to the fantasy of being in a world where there seems to be more than one. In the case of Alexius, for example, his psychosomatic disorders were unaltered.

But since he keeps getting glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One, he is always reminded, that he is not in a world where there seems to be more than one. Thus it is like being in a roleplay, where one act out a role in a story governed by the gamemaster. However, in the case of a world where there seems to be more than one, the gamemaster is not somebody outside but inside of him, namely the brain.

Playing the brain’s game, the perception ‘it is what it is’ comes naturally. Therefore, since your interpretation of past events lose their specific meaning, there is not something definitive to maintain psychosomatic disorders – or to make one feel stuck in in the plot of the brain.

See hack #4.1 The basic self versus the special one about the brain’s script. And check HACK #6, Inner senses, enlightenment and glimpses of it about the Enlightenment of that which is One or glimpses of it. The latter is experienced in a world of duality, whereas there is nobody to experience the former since that requires more than one. That is why, although glimpses of Enlightenment is a mystical experience, there is no magic or anything else to experience in the Enlightenment of that which is One.

To be continued in You must play the game of duality to have it undone.

*) Alexius has never talked with his parents about this. He left home for good one night when his parents were not there. First, he moved into a hippie commune and then into an old wooden house next to a gipsy camp, where he lived until he became a monk a few years later. Read a resumé of his physical life here. He has no education, by the way.

CANCELLEX The fake link between immateriality and materiality [DRAFT] ???

Updated September 22, 2021

‘I know what it is’ vs ‘it is what it is’ vs ‘dunno what it is’

Updated May 21, 2022

Suppose you perceive yourself to be on top of it and know what is happening. In that case, try to perceive you do not understand what is going on. Then see which of the perceptions make the body relax. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

In most cases, you do not have to read Alexius’ Duality Hacks in a particular order. But in the case of this article, you may benefit from having read hack #4.1 The basic self versus the special one.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

When the brain’s script is perceived as ‘it is what it is,’ your dark feelings are not excluded but included. This perception, therefore, is not a way to the dullness of detachment but the vitality of involvement. But it is very close to the nothingness from where the brain scripts its story of duality. Not as close, though, as you get with the perception’ dunno what it is’ because it exposes all experiences of something as nothing.

That is why you get the bliss of nothing from perceiving your reaction to an experience as ‘dunno what it is,’ whereas you get the sadness of something from ‘I know what it is,’ and the happiness of duality from ‘it is what it is.’

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Since the self-perception of the special self is built upon the perception ‘I know what it is,’ it rejects what would make it relax, namely the bliss of nothing.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The stories the special self makes about its greatness are not always consistent. Thus it often feels disorganised and wishes to be like those it perceives as organised. On the other hand, the basic self has no need to be anything other than in sync with the stream of thoughts coming from the brain by perceiving its reaction to it as ‘it is what it is.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

When your reaction to something is perceived as ‘it is what it is,’ there is no need to make anything disappear. But when the perception is ‘I know what it is,’ everything unknown must be avoided to keep you feeling on top of it.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

It feels like something is missing when you perceive your reaction to an experience as ‘I know what it is’ because the perception is based on excluding what you cannot explain. Instead, if an experience is perceived as ‘it is what it is,’ you feel complete because the perception is all-inclusive. The perception, ‘dunno what it is,’ nor exclude or include something. Thus you are in the bliss of nothing.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The special self does not want to perceive the experience of itself as ‘it is what it is.’ Instead, it wants to change it into something imagined to make itself more beautiful than others, even though it feels ugly inside. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The basic self and the special one are bound to follow the GPS coordinates it gets from the brain without making any side trips of their own. They do not have the power to change the journey – only how to perceive it. Their perception of that, though, is very different. The basic self basically perceives everything as ‘it is what it is,’ and the special one as ‘I know what it is.’

That is why it is easy for the basic self to be someone and hard work for the special one. It has to make a special perception of each experience, reflecting that ‘I know what it is.’

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Only the brain can make you feel good enough because nobody else knows what you are. To get its approval, all you need is to perceive your reaction to the experience it processes of you in a world where there seems to be more than one as ‘it is what it is’. Actually, you do not even have to do that. If you do not interfere in the brain’s workings, it automatically makes this perception.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

You feel happy when your reaction to the experiences the brain makes for you is perceived as ‘it is what it is’ because that reveals they are twofold, so you are in sync with the brain’s script of duality.

But suppose you, in an attempt to be free and independent of the brain, insist ‘I know what it is’ that goes on now. Then you are out of sync with the brain because everything comes in pairs in its world of duality. Therefore, since nothing is specific, you cannot know what goes on.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Since making a specific perception takes a long time, it is often delayed, thus out of sync with the present moment. The frustration this entails only worsens if you try to solve it by using more time to process your experience. In contrast, using the brain’s default perception, ‘it is what it is,’ you are in sync with the present moment. Hence everything feels good.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

What is Wincent thinking about? Alexius cannot really know, but he becomes stressed from trying to make it true if he reckons that he does. On the other hand, if he perceives his reaction to Wincent as’ it is what it is,’ there is nothing to prove and thus no stress. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

For many years Alexius’ cat, Wincent, has more or less had the same routine. He leaves the house very early every morning and returns when Alexius is still in bed. First, Wincent says something. Then he lays down next to Alexius and waits for him to get out of bed and give him food. At least that is the obvious conclusion because as soon as Alexius takes the first step out of bed, Wincent runs out in the kitchen, where he, with big eyes, sits and waits for Alexius to give him food.

If Alexius, therefore, believes he knows what is going on, he goes from the perception of the basic self, which is ‘it is what it is,’ to the perception of the special self, ‘I know what it is.’ Doing that, he most likely stresses to get out of bed and feed his beloved cat, although this is not going to happen any sooner than if he, as the basic self, had perceived ‘it is what it is’ because the brain’s script runs its course, no matter how it is perceived.

In other words, when you stick to the perception of the basic self, life is effortless. But having the perception of the special self, life seems stressful because you must always look like it goes on as expected.

There is a third option, to become selfless. This is brought about when you choose the perception’ dunno what it is’ because it brings you in a state of not knowing.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

When your reaction to something in the body is perceived as ‘it is what it is,’ there is not something specific to bother or amuse you. Hence you are free to go with the flow of thoughts as it comes from the brain. In other words, you are in the happiness that comes from being synced with the brain’s script.

But when you perceive what you feel in the body as ‘I know what it is,’ you are not in sync with the flow of thoughts because nothing in the brain’s script of duality is definitive. Everything comes in pairs of opposites. Thus being specific, you are in the misery of believing to know something definitive.

If how you react to something in the body is perceived as ‘dunno what it is,’ you are not in the misery of being out of sync with the brain’s script because you do not know of a body that feels something. Consequently, you are in the bliss of nothing.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

If what you do makes you feel bad, it does not indicate you should do something else because that is not your choice. But you can choose how to perceive your reaction. Deciding to perceive it as ‘it is what it is,’ the bad feeling is complemented with a good one. Therefore, since they as a team define each other, you also feel good when you feel bad and vice versa. you feel just as good as bad  Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Triumph and disaster are not perceived as equally entertaining by the special self. Yet, this is precisely what they are if one of them is perceived as ‘it is what it is’ because it reveals there is no triumph without disaster and vice versa.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The special self constructs a perception of every experience, so it does not seem to endanger its default assumption, ‘I know what it is.’ Hence it can go on believing it is in control. But since that is a lie, it is bound to suffer emotionally, mentally and physically.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

You do not try to be someone definitive in a dream but naturally, go with the flow. And if you, in retrospect, do not try to arrange your memories of a dream, so it seems coherent and meaningful, you are ready to be relative instead of definitive.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The basic self does not assume something will go on in a specific way because every experience is perceived as ‘it is what it is.’ Thus getting old and unable to do what it used to do is not a loss.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

No emotion needs to be escaped when every feeling is perceived as ‘it is what it is .’ Thus you are at peace.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Since the perception, ‘it is what it is,’ arises from not focusing on something specific, the technique for the taste of life will get you there if used gently. Applied more passionately, you get the perception’ dunno what it is.’ See The four aspects of Enlightenment and how to sample them.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Nobody, nor Alexius, is solely the basic self. The special self will exploit the innocence of the basic self. Fortunately, this is not a problem for the basic self because it perceives its reaction to everything as ‘it is what it is.’ Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Perceiving a movie as cheap because it uses furniture from Ikea, you are probably out of sync with the plot. Hence it does not seem entertaining as it does when your perception is in sync with the story. However, this does not mean you must do something about your condemnation of Ikea to get in sync with the movie’s script.

All you need is to perceive your reaction to the furniture from Ikea as ‘it is what it is.’ By doing that, the response is revealed to be twofold, wherefore, there is no specific reaction to prevent you from being in sync. Hence both the script and your misperception of it seem enjoyable. Likewise, when you perceive your response to the brain’s manuscript as ‘it is what it is.’

If you internally or externally had reacted to the movie as indicated by the director’s use of dramatic music, for example, you would automatically be in sync with the plot and feel entertained by it. The same applies to the brain’s script. Not perceiving your reaction to it as ‘I know what it is,’ but ‘it is what it is,’ you are in sync with the script’s ups and downs. Thus it feels equally entertaining to go up as down.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Roughly speaking, the perception of the special self is ‘I know what it is.’ In contrast, the basic self sticks to the brain-generated perception ‘it is what it is.’ The non-self in a state of not-knowing simply says ‘dunno what it is’ because it does not perceive the apparent differences in the experiences produced by the brain to make a difference.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

When the perception of your response to an experience created by the brain is ‘I know what it is,’ you feel important but also exhausted because it requires much manipulation to make it look as if you are in control. Hence the special self always needs more energy, whereas the basic self needs nothing because it is controlled by the brain. And since its response to that is ‘it is what it is,’ it feels free even though it depends on the brain.

Science says what we seem to feel and see consist of 99.9999999 per cent empty space. And the rest, despite it also is empty space and like a dream does not contain something substantial, is what we perceive as elements of matter making up a tangible world.

If the basic self changes its perception to ‘dunno what it is,’ no definitions hold it back from seeing, it is nothing twisted by the brain into something. Thus it is nobody in the bliss of nothing. You can read about that in the below hacks

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Since the brain’s script contains every possible experience, being in sync with the brain, you are the past, the future and everything else but the formlessness of oneness, as it cannot be experienced. Thus all you need to cross the apparent barrier to oneness is not to experience anything.

Thoughts about meditation, the basic and special self

Updated May 19, 2022

To define something as small, it must be contrasted with something tall. But if the special self hates big things, it excludes tall. But as you cannot experience one side of a contrast without the other, you also exclude small when you exclude tall. So if you perceive to be free from hatred, the love you believe to experience is fake. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The brain’s function is to create entertaining thoughts for the self that it has fabricated. Therefore, if thoughts do not seem to please but frustrate the self, its consciousness most likely perceives the flow of them so they comply with a conceptualised way of living, such as capitalism, socialism, spiritualism or another ism meant to make the self feel more special.

But since this perception is founded on a particular belief system, it is restricted by its concepts. And since self-discipline does not make you delighted but angry, you do not get the fulfilment the belief system has promised. Instead, you get stress and confusion – primarily because the thoughts you have compiled to keep your perception in line with your preferred belief system do not like your manipulation. Hence, they move faster and faster to escape your domination.

No worries, if you do not try to stop this restless energy, it automatically ignites a take-off into the empty breath, where the slate is wiped clean for misperceptions. Read more about that in hack #5.2 The empty breath and the bliss of not believing to be someone. Therefore, since there are only perceptions in sync with the experiences the brain produces, you feel entertained by all of them. Fortunately, you do not have to uphold these perceptions yourself. The brain does that automatically if you do not interfere. Read more about that in hack #4.2 The brain’s script and how to perceive it to feel happy.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Since the basic self is relative to the experiences created by the brain (read more about that here), it is not definitive. Hence the inexact flow of thoughts coming from the brain seems natural. But not to the special self because it wants to be definitive.

To distance itself from the brain, the special self composes a perception in which the basic self seems to have been transformed into someone definitive independent of the brain. However, this twisted perception calls for more thoughts than those few the brain has available to make a perception aligned with the basic self. Thus, the special self meditates to generate more thoughts.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The special self needs alcohol, drugs or meditation to escape the fear of repercussion that manipulating others entails. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Those who perceive themselves as unique beings with the power to do things in their way and pace need many thoughts to uphold this twisted perception. However, the movement of all these thoughts soon becomes so hectic that they try to slow them down via meditation.

That is the official reason. But as anybody who has meditated knows, thoughts multiply when trying to control them. And that is the real reason for meditating because many thoughts are needed to construct a unique appearance.

 ∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The basic self does not feel disturbed by the flow of thoughts from the brain. On the contrary, it loves this quiet flow because it makes it easy to serve the brain in a laid-back way. However, the special self does not want to serve but master the brain. Thus it feels disturbed by its thoughts, although, if not interfering, there are only a few.

The frantic flow of thoughts, the special self experiences, has been generated by itself. It has multiplied the simple flow, the brain develops to maintain a basic itself into a large group of thoughts from which it can compose a perception of itself as an independent being. Read more about that here. Then, when it needs a break from the multitudes of thoughts, it looks for something numbing like alcohol, drugs or a mantra.

Should it manage to relax, it feels horrified because, without all the special thoughts it has generated, the idea of being in control falls apart. Hence there is no self-deception to hide that you are dependent on the brain, which depends on you to have a twofold response to its experiences, so their dualistic nature is confirmed.

However, not fighting this interdependence, there is nothing to hide, that all the brain’s experiences of you as someone in a world of duality are as unreal as being someone in the virtual world of a computer game. Fortunately, duality is as entertaining as a computer game when you play the game of twofoldness. Read more about that in hack #4.4 The duality flow goes to non-duality.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Most like to believe they feel upset because of the flow of thoughts coming from the brain. However, the distress comes from the attempt to edit it. When a single thought is sought out from the stream of thoughts, it generates a new stream, and if a specific thought is singled out from that, yet another stream is made, and so on – just like if you split a neutron from an atom nucleus, it sends out more neutrons all by itself, that split and sends out more neutrons. It is a chain reaction.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The special self feels dominated by the natural flow of thoughts coming from the brain. But it is dominated by nothing other than its perception of the flow of thoughts. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The special self likes to believe that visualising something specific makes it happen because that seems to confirm it is in control of its life.

But it is like thinking the TV show you turn on by hitting the remote control is made by you. Somebody else has made the show, and the only thing you can change is your perception of it. This is also how the basic self has been transformed into a special self, namely by perceiving the basic self so that it seems to have become an independent being in charge of its own life.

But the special self needs constant approval from others to feel this is so. To get that, it often establishes a family, which it can manipulate into giving it the confirmation it needs. If that does not work as intended, the special self may pay a psychologist to ratify its uniqueness. Yet it does not realise how dependent it is on those supporting its perception of being independent.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The brain works like nature, throwing seeds here and everywhere without worrying about the outcome. Therefore, serving the brain, you also have fun doing that. But those who believe to be in charge of themselves think much about the result of their actions. They want to get as much as possible for as little as possible (read more about that here). Hence they organise the seeds in straight lines, resulting in much profit but no fun. Some solve that by buying things that make them happy for a while. And others try to find something spiritual inside them to feel good. But the way to feel good is to serve the brain because it has created you to do that.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

When the brain scripts you to feel sexual lust, you will feel horny no matter what you believe in being. However, you will not enjoy it if you try to suppress it through meditation or tantra sex. Read more about sex here.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

If you perceive yourself to be detached from the experiences of the brain, you fool yourself because you need them to prove this.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

When you try to solve absent-mindedness through mindfulness meditation or grounding exercises, you make it worse because you do not know who you are. Only your maker knows that. And since it is the brain, the solution, in the context of believing to be someone, is to be aligned with the stream of thoughts coming from the brain instead of using meditation to distance yourself from it.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Mindfulness is for those who cannot help exploiting others – just like in ancient times, monks introduced meditation to the barbarians seeking shelter in Ashrams to control themselves, thus refraining from abusing others.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The basic self is aware of itself as someone substantial by continually perceiving the experiences the brain produces as tangible. However, if it twists its perception of these experiences to make them appear spiritual, they are not seen as they are but how they could be. Consequently, the self disassociates itself from the brain, thus itself, since what and where it appears to be is a product of the brain. Read more about that in What and where you believe to be is the brain.

In other words, since the self’s perceived independence of the brain is a disassociation from itself, every act that the self perceives to do in its way and pace deepens the alienation. That is why meditating to become purer, higher and whatnot enhances the feeling of remoteness instead of closeness. Hence you do not get the joy of appearing as someone substantial in a tangible world, nor do you get around to undoing the belief in being definable because the imagination of being spiritual suppresses that.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Having established itself as someone in charge of its life, the special self needs to meditate or something else that seems to make it able to control thoughts to fool itself into believing that thoughts are not produced by the brain but by itself. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

It is impossible to alter the stream of thoughts the brain produces to uphold the basic self it has created. So instead, the consciousness the brain has installed in the self makes a perception of the stream that establishes the self, not the brain, as its maker. Then, like a god, it says, »This is my creation.« And Bam! The world, as it perceives it, appears to manifest. Next, it says, »I am an independent being.’ And Bam! The perception is ratified as a fact.

Third, it builds a character with a few flaws, so it always has something to improve through meditation, Tai Chi or something else that makes it seem to be in control, thus able to be and have something specific. This makes it feel unique but not satisfied because it is all on its own.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The basic self has no need to relax or transform itself through meditation, yoga, fitness and whatnot. On the contrary, as its perception is in sync with the stream of thoughts coming from the brain, it is rewarded with shots of happiness. Therefore, since it regularly forgets to remember being someone, it knows there is nothing to transform.

On the other hand, the special self never forgets to remember being somebody. It is always on a mission to become more and be part of something greater. But since that never turns out as expected, it settles for following someone that seems to improve its social status.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

If you need to relax, you are on a mission to be someone definitive. Because to achieve that, you have perceived the stream of thoughts coming from the brain excluded the thoughts you find upsetting. Since that does not result in peace but fear of the repressed, you look for something to relax. However, not trying to edit the ever-changing flow of thoughts but perceiving it as ‘it is what it is,’ you are not someone definitive but relative to the present experience produced by the brain. Thus hating what you dislike feels just as exciting as loving what you like. Hence there is no need to relax.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Nothing appears to be good enough for the special self because it interprets the noise in its head as a voice whispering, ‘there must be more.’ This is also the voice it follows when it meditates to find more peace. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The special self always looks for something to fix. But it objects to the solution that would fix everything immediately, namely not perceiving the brain as an enemy but as a friend (read more about that here). By doing that, everybody becomes a friend because the experience of others is produced by the brain.

Ultimately speaking, the solution is to undo the belief in being someone who experiences something. As this is the end of being someone, the special self avoids it by meditating or something else that seems to confirm it exists.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Those who believe they have free will are easily manipulated by the many doctrines of the world, such as how to be spiritual, socialistic, capitalistic or something else they think will make them independent of the brain’s ways.

However, you cannot avoid the brain’s commands – just like a car cannot determine the direction itself. It is in the hands of the driver. Likewise, you are in the hands of the brain.

Yet, unlike a car, you have a consciousness free to perceive the direction as you want. In the case of the special self, it makes a perception in which it has excluded everything that does not fit into the special doctrine it believes will make it more unique and independent. But it is make-believe. Nothing changes but the way the special self sees it.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The self that the brain has fabricated from nothing (read more about that here) and continuously administers, so it appears to be something, feels restricted when it imagines the freedom it could have if not managed by the brain but itself. But the self cannot be changed, only the perception of it. Therefore, no matter how you perceive yourself, you are still the same self that the brain has created and manages.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

There is no moment without the past and the future. For example, to keep the balance on a wheel, like in this photo, you must deal with both. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen

If you perceive the brain’s basic rendering of you as someone in a capsule of time and space as a bit boring, the special self sets in by offering you more exotic ways of perceiving it, for example, by coming from the heart (read more about that here), living in the now or having direct experiences.

But since all experiences – no matter where you believe they come from or how they seem to be experienced – are constructions of thoughts fabricated by the brain (read more about that here), these special perceptions are nothing but a reconstruction of the thoughts made by the brain.

But they do not work because they are exclusive and not inclusive. Any experience the brain creates consists of all thoughts popping up at that moment, including those of the past and the future. When in sync with the whole bunch, every moment feels perfect. See hack #3.1 Every moment is the perfect moment.

But this is not how it feels if you eliminate some of those thoughts so you can adjust to concepts like coming from the heart, living in the now or having direct experiences. This makes you feel imperfect.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Just like the night excludes the day and vice versa, spirituality excludes consciousness and vice versa.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

It is foolish to think you are someone in a computer game just because it seems to make you feel something. Whatever you believe in feeling is based on your interpretation of computer-generated events. In other words, what you feel is made by you. The same applies to what you feel in the world where you believe to read this. If you feel good about the article, you have chosen to interpret your response to it like that. Consequently, it is your choice whether you feel good or bad.

It is also your doing to assume that a god, higher consciousness or whatnot is making the world where you believe in being. There is neither god nor you, as that requires more than one, and there is no more than that which is One since it is formless and therefore endless.

NOTES:

In a world where there seems to be more than one, there is no Enlightenment of that which is One, only glimpses of it

Updated June 19, 2022

Even though in a dream you may sense, that it´s a dream, you can only see the dream. The dream must be terminated to see the dreamer.

Even though you as an appearance in a dream may sense, it is not real, you cannot see what is real. You can only see the dream and not the one dreaming it. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

PART 1:
Gurus and others talking about silence, inner peace, and eternal bliss try to seduce you into believing that they know how to find shelter from the world. But how can they claim there is something to find in a world they describe as an illusion or a dream? Everything found in a dream is equally illusionary, no matter if it seems to be found inside or outside of an appearance there or whether it is perceived as pure or whatnot.

THE DREAMER CANNOT BE SEEN IN A DREAM, YET EVERYTHING SYMBOLISES THE DREAMER
The foundation of Alexius’ Duality Hacks is that a world where there seems to be more than one is to be compared to a dream or a movie – in other words, it is an illusion! This is possible to sense, just like when you – within the illusion of a world where there seems to be more than one – have a dream and for a moment think it is not real.

Regardless the distances and the apparent different persons in a dream, there are no distances and no differences at all. Everything is in the dreamer, so no matter where you appear to be in the dream you are with the dreamer. It is only the belief in its realty, that separates you from each other.

This does not mean that you in such a moment see what is real, but that you sense the unreality of a world where there seems to be more than one. You cannot see what is real because there is nothing real in an illusion, no matter what you seem to think, feel, experience or read – including Alexius’ Duality Hacks. But if can you sense that your appearance is as fleeting as a dream, you may also grasp the dreamer of it being real.

Reality, though, is not something definitive. It is formless and much more energetic than you can ever imagine in the dream of a world defined by time and space. Millions of atomic bombs exploding at one time are nothing compared to the formless energy of that which is One.

It is one perpetual present at an unimaginable speed – so fast that there is no difference to see, and nobody has the time to see anything. That is why nothing is happening in the formlessness of oneness. See A world where there seems to be more than one is to be compared to a movie of that which is One played in slow motion.

Alexius is speaking from vague memories of the Enlightenment of that which is One, where the dream of a world defined by time and space is no more and therefore, neither Alexius to experience something. That is why – apart from the certainty that there is no more than that which is One and therefore not a world where there seems to be more than one – he only has vague memories of it.

There seems to be separate appearances to be defined by time and space in the dream called The World. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

If you believe see separated appearances defined by time and space, you see what you think you are, namely someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one. In other words, your belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is One fence off the formlessness of oneness.  Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

IF YOU EXPERIENCE SOMETHING, YOU ARE HALLUCINATING
The experience of seeing something can only occur in a world where there seems to be more than one. In such a world, one perpetual present appears to be hidden behind the idea of linear time, as it gives the impression, that there is a continuous flow of endless events with each their past and future.

Reality is that which is One. There is neither nothing inside or outside, as that requires more than one.

Selected fragments of this flow some gurus want you to freeze and uphold as if it is a state of peace or stillness, but like everything else in a world where there seem to be more than one, these states are based on excluding something upsetting or disturbing.

In other words, as they are based on the belief in separation, they exclude the only peace and stillness there is, namely the formlessness of oneness, which has no disturbances, as it takes more than one to be disturbed by something. So if you are feeling disturbed or feeling anything at all, you are either unreal or hallucinating.

THE ENLIGHTENMENT OF THAT WHICH IS ONE VERSUS GLIMPSES OF IT
The enlightenment of that which is One is a moment that starts in the dream of a world where there seems to be more than one. Yet, at the exact same moment, the dream is over. As that which is you were not in the dream, it is not awakening to a new awareness. On the contrary, there is no awareness of anything, nor that you seemed to have believed being someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one, as that requires more than one. There is just one bright light – so intense that there is nothing to see and, therefore, nothing to be.

stock-illustration-95146555-enso-circular-brush-stroke-japanese-zen-circle-calligraphy-n-7-

The Enlightenment of that which is One sucks everything out of you, so there is nothing to fall through a black hole into the formlessness of oneness. That is, if you do not determine the first stages of the black hole to look like a zen sign, for example. In that case, you are back in a world defined by time and space. Hence you are better off forgetting Alexius’ desAlexius’description hole if you want to go where nobody can go. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The light is there to suck what has been stripped free of the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one through a black hole into that which is One. That is if there are no leftovers of this belief because if there are, you will think that you see something and therefore return to a world where there seems to be more than one, as only in such a world can something be experienced to be seen by somebody.

In other words, if it is perceived as if there is something definable in the Enlightenment of that which is One, you will again appear to be someone definitive in a world defined by time and space.

Those who have exciting enlightenment experiences to tell about have held onto the belief in being someone definitive and therefore not as nobody been sucked through a black hole into the formlessness of that which is One, so what they have experienced is a glimpse of the Enlightenment of that which is One.

Glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One can be experienced by seeing, hearing, feeling or tasting it. But as it requires more than one to experience something, the glimpses are not the Enlightenment of that which is One.

From from the perspective of a world defined by time and space the Enlightenment of that which is one leads to nothing, because there is not something to see, and therefore nothing to define you as someone definitive. That which is One has no perspective, as it requires more than one to have something.

For someone who is fed up with appearing to be someone definitive, it is frustrating only to have glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One. Still, for those who love to appear as someone special, it is perfect because the glimpses can be used to pump up the specialness by lecturing or writing books about the experience of a vast empty space full of pure consciousness, love, bliss or whatever the glimpses are interpreted to reveal.

But it has nothing to do with the Enlightenment of that which is One because only someone definitive can be full of pure consciousness, love, bliss or anything else.

The rogue consciousness of the self* likes to give the impression that it can help you get more, whether in a so-called spiritual or materialistic way. Yet you never get anything but the need for even more. This need, however, you already had. It was because of that you believed to be someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one, so it appears that although that which is you is no different from the formlessness of that which is One, it is possible to be and have more than that which is One.

PART 2:
One who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One, as well as someone who is not, knows nothing. Those not to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One, however, do their best to act as if they know a lot. In contrast, one who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One has no such need, as the apparent differences in a world where there seems to be more than one are not perceived to make a difference. So there is nothing to know – except that there is no more than the formlessness of that which is One.

So whether you think that you know why it is raining, why you or somebody else do this or that, what you think you know is an illusion, as it takes more than one to know something and the formlessness of that which is One is everything because what is formless is endless.

From this follows, to love or help somebody, just like everything else in a world where there seems to be more than one, is an illusion and therefore not an attribute of that which is One.

Nothing that requires more than one is an attribute of oneness. In other words, love and whatnot only seem to be possible in a world where there seems to be more than one. However, believing to be someone in such a world can be helpful regarding having the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one undone. That is, if this is the purpose of using them. See hack #1.3 Pretending to be someone definitive is liberation or hack #2.1 Everything experienced is a symbol of life or hack #3.2 Inclusiveness is freedom or hack #7.1 Alone together, we go home.

In a world of linear time, this appears to take time. In the process, however, Alexius´ Duality Hacks will enable you to enjoy the illusion of that while having the belief that you are someone enjoying something undone. This does not apply to hack #6.1 The Enlightenment of that which is One, as there is nothing to enjoy in the fastest way possible to have the belief in being someone undone, namely the Enlightenment of that which is One because it takes more than one to enjoy anything. Besides, the Enlightenment of that which is One takes no time, as there is no time in that which is One.

All that being said about ways, the formlessness of that which is One is everything because what is formless is endless. Hence a world where there seems to be more than one is an illusion, including any way out of it. So to fully undo the belief in such a world, the way you appear to go must be undone as well.

A person cannot bid welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One. But a person can momentarily forget what and where it appears to be so that there is not something definable to hide the formlessness of that which is One. If a person just partly forgets what and where it appears to be, the Enlightenment of that which is One cannot be bid welcome. Yet, such a person may have glimpses of it. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

EPILOGUE:
Who is looking for food but those with an empty stomach. And who is looking for enlightenment, but those who feel empty. Unfortunately, most try to fill this emptiness with something of a pleasurable nature like, for example, bliss. But nothing can fill this emptiness because it is a fantasy based on the belief that you are someone specific in a world defined by time and space and that which is you is the formlessness of oneness, so that is not possible.

That is why you are bound to feel empty if believed to be someone specific. Therefore, the solution to feeling empty is not to fill up the emptiness but to undo the belief in being someone definitive.

An enlightened (in the sense of the Enlightenment of that which is One) never ask ‘who am I?’ because there is no doubt there is no more than that which is One and therefore not a world where there seems to be more than one – regardless it appears to be astral and whatnot. Consequently, the enlightened have no need for communities, discussions, so-called interesting exchanges or dialogues, sending love or anything else to make it appear as if there is someone specific there. Someone compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One does not believe but pretends to be someone.

NOTES:

  • The statements above about the fabricated states of gurus and no need for interacting in communities do not mean this must be avoided. If the world is an illusion, preventing any part of it is also an illusion. Nothing in fantasy, whether it appears to be within or without, in the heart or whatnot, needs to be avoided because nothing is real. You are free to have fun pretending to be what you are not when you know that.

Are there degrees of Enlightenment?

Updated June 2, 2022

Enlightenment can also be felt and heard in several degrees. AUM can open your inner ear.

The Enlightenment of that which is One cannot be experienced, but glimpses of it can, when you partly let go of the personality. It will seem to happen in degrees because as long as there appears to be an ´I´ that thinks it has the power to let go of anything, you hang onto the person, you appear to be in a world where there seems to be more than one. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The answer to the question in the headline is both yes and no. Before I start to elaborate on this, I like to remind you that if two people drink the exact same cup of tea, they will most likely describe it differently. Maybe one of them talks about it in a very ecstatic way and the other in a very down-to-earth way. Still, it is the same tea, so – in the context of this metaphor – please focus on the tea and not the description when you read this article.

In the Enlightenment of that which is One, everything happens simultaneously. Thus there are no specific elements that can be labelled to make it understandable. Nor is there anybody to be aware of that or anything at all. Therefore, the Enlightenment of that which is One is not an experience or a state of some kind. It is that which is One, and there are no degrees of oneness. In the context of linear time, how long time it lasts is not to say because it is one perpetual present.

To rise again from the dead, as it feels like returning from the Enlightenment of that which is One to a world where there seems to be more than one, you again appear to be someone definitive. Yet, this is not something you believe to be but pretend to be. But whether you believe or pretend to be there, it is something that requires more than one, and so it seems to hide the Enlightenment of that which is One.

You can compare it to activating an app on your computer or smart media. When you do it, the desktop – although still there – is hidden until you turn off the app again.

Alexius is like every other person in the world not perfect. But unlike most others he knows, it is not possible to be perfect, because that requires more than one and there is no more than that which is One.

Alexius was very young when the belief in being someone definitive for the first time momentarily was turned off. He did not know about the Enlightenment of that which is One from books or anywhere else, and he did not consider himself to have – what the purist may call – a pure mind or body. He probably still does not have that because the Enlightenment of that which is One does not change anything in the world. Nothing is transformed into peace, love, purity or whatever. There is no more than that which is One, so there is not something to change. That is the revelation of Enlightenment – and there are no degrees in that.

Balance is a concept invented, so that you can always feel out of balance and therefore constantly is occupied trying to get it. Being on a mission like that, you do not have time to see that there is no balance in an illusion – neither btw in that which is real. Reality is one and it takes two to have a balance.

Balance is a concept invented, so that you can always feel out of balance and therefore constantly being occupied by trying to get it right. On a mission like that, you do not have time to see that there is no balance in an illusion – neither by the way in that which is real, because reality is one and it takes more than one to be in balance. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Spiritual wannabe´s try to follow special ideas like for example the concept of balance – as if there is any balance in an illusionary world – so that when they have achieved the right balance they are considered spiritual, which they imagine is manifested by them moving at a very slow pace. This state of numbness they have decided is to be in higher consciousness. Yet high consciousness is as illusory as low, as it takes more than one to be have something. If instead they acknowledged, that they do not know what and where they are, the Enlightenment of that which is One comes so fast, that the the brain has no time to distinguish anything. Thus concepts of spirituality and whatnot falls apart.

He has no answer to questions like how come he bid welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One, or how come he returned to the world again. All he can say is, at this moment, he is writing this article in a world that seems to be full of degrees. So yes, in such a world, you can experience degrees of Enlightenment. But they are not the Enlightenment of that which is One, though, but glimpses of it.

When he was a child, he was not allowed to see the fully decorated Christmas tree before Christmas Eve. But he took some sneak peeks through the keyhole in the door and was very amazed by the light he saw. Those sneak peeks can be compared to glimpses of Enlightenment. You are still in your ordinary world from where you have glimpses of something very different.

In the context of this metaphor, it is not only the beautiful light from all the candles you experience looking through the keyhole, you can also hear all the glitter move on the green leaves. Actually, if you are more audio than visual-minded, it might be these sounds that bliss you out rather than the light.

Apart from the visual and audiovisual aspects of the Enlightenment of that which is One, there are also aspects of feeling and tasting it. However, you do not need to follow all the aspects to erase what seems to hide that which is the oneness of you. One part will do. Alexius has followed the visual and emotional aspect of the Enlightenment of that which is one into the non-degree version. But since it is one perpetual present, it cannot be brought back into a world of linear time, so there are just vague memories of it.

Glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One is experienced through the inward-facing senses when the outward ones are partly closed. And just like ordinary experiences, there are degrees of them, and they can be remembered in the world of the outward-facing senses. These glimpses come to him daily in various degrees of the four aspects of the Enlightenment of that which is One. The easiest one – in his case – is the emotional experience of hearing and feeling the sound that Aum or Sohang symbolises.

It sounds and feels like the vibrations from an enormous vacuum cleaner or the ventilation plant in an airport. Alexius has met people who have heard this humming when meditating but disregarded it as a sound coming from their neighbour using a vacuum cleaner. People spend so much time repeating Aum or Sohang in expectation of something mysterious to happen when all they have to do is repeat it a few times to get in tune with the humming floating on top of the ´end´ of the word. You can read the practical instruction on how to do this in this article.

The word Aum or Sohang can be compared to the control knob on an analogue radio that you use to fine-tune into hearing just one station. When you have gotten it, you do not need the control knob – or in this case, the word Aum or Sohang to hear the echo of that which is One. If you hear or feel the humming of that which is One, while still aware of the world, it is a glimpse of the Enlightenment of that which is One, which is revealed in degrees depending on how much you are unaware of a world, where there seems to be more than one.

All degrees of Enlightenment are experiences, and any experience is part of the illusion of a world where there seems to be more than one. However, it appears that these degrees of Enlightenment bring you closer to the beginning of the world – before the big bang – which is often experienced as a paradise full of ecstasy and bliss. Yet, like all other experiences, these also have an end. So does this article.

You may expect a conclusion to the above, but there is none. And if you do not try to make one yourself, you are on the way to having glimpses of Enlightenment. Read here how to speed it up.

Alexius died again from the world of the outward-facing senses

Updated June 1, 2022

The transmission from outer to inner senses is not gradually but very abrupt and it can seem frightening in the moment you sense the world, as you know it, is gonna be erased. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The total transmission from the outer to the inward-facing senses is not gradual but very abrupt, and it can seem frightening when you sense that nothing definable will make it through this transition. You and the world, as you know it, will be eradicated just like that. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Just like we have the outward-facing senses to see, hear, feel, smell and taste a tangible world, we have inward-facing senses to see, hear, feel, smell and taste an abstract world. However, to use the inward-facing senses, the outward-facing ones must be more or less turned off. Here you can read more about the inward and outward-facing senses.

The more you do not focus on something in the world of the outward-facing senses, the more it is shut down and the less you see a definable world. To be entirely defocused for a moment feels like you die from the world of the outward-facing. And since most people believe being in this world is to be alive, they fight to remain there.

THE DEFLECTION OF FEAR
Psychologist says that when suppressed feelings are about to surface, some unconsciously choose to vomit instead of facing them. It is a bit the same in the total transition from the outward-facing senses to the inward ones. Part of you is afraid of the unknown and tries avoiding it by doing something very physical like vomiting.

However, it is best to avoid vomiting in the phase of the total transition from outer to inward-facing senses. And instead, face the extreme discomfort by including it precisely as it is without trying to understand or embrace it. Thus you are what is in the moment and nothing else. Then it is over. It might be easier said than done, and it probably takes a long time to pass the apparent discomfort.

When one of Alexius’ inward-facing senses opened at a very young age, the outer ones were fully turned off, so there was nothing to block out the Enlightenment of that which is One. Alexius had been driving a taxi for 15 hours and was exhausted to the extent that he confused traffic lights for customers trying to hire a cab.

When he finally returned home from work, there was no energy left to fight the third eye to open up and burn away everything established as Alexius, so that there was no belief in someone definitive to hide there is no more than the formlessness of oneness.

In deep sleep or big exhaustion, you do not sense the apparent differences to make a difference, which is the invitation, the Enlightenment of that which is One wait for. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

DEEP, DEEP SLEEP
If either the inward or outward-facing senses are intensely used, the other seems to be in the background. For Alexius, it was the most known aspect of the inward-facing senses that dominated when they opened up, namely the ability to ‘see’ light. But not a light that can be compared to anything you can see with the two eyes of the outward-facing senses.

The Bhagavad Gita compares this light to light from thousands of suns, but Alexius would not do that. To compare it to something is to say there is something to see that can be defined by time and space. It is not a light that illuminates something. There is nothing to see – not even light because there is no consciousness of being someone.

Soon after, he had bid welcome the visual aspect of the Enlightenment of that which is One, the inward-facing ear opened with ethereal harmonies sounding like bells, much crisper and softer way than the mundane ones. Regarding the opening of the third eye, he had no discomfort in the transition. Perhaps he was too exhausted to fight it.

Speaking of the opening of the inward-facing ear, it probably ‘happened’ in deep sleep, where the concept of an ‘I’ is gone. Thus there is nobody to hold onto in a world where there seems to be more than one. In such a profound sleep, his inward-facing ear opened up.

Always on the run from something to something better, so that you do not see, that there is nothing better than that which is you because it is formless, thus endless. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The desire to escape that which is One makes you hang onto the belief that you are someone in a world where there seems to be more than one. That is until you realise, it is yourself that you want to escape, because that which is you is no different from that which is One.

TASTING THE SWEETNESS OF ONENESS
The sweetness of that which is One is like a flavour of milk and honey with a hint of liquorice or sometimes strawberry. To start tasting it was not without discomfort for Alexius. His body reacted like it had been attacked by something dangerous and panicked by making vomit reflexes. But when he did not try to escape it, the panic turned out to be a lid on a jug of a smoothie-like texture some scripture calls the nectar of life. Read more about the sweetness of oneness here.

Since the Enlightenment of that which is One cannot be experienced, the next step with this aspect cannot be explained. But metaphorically speaking, the transparent sweet smoothie-like flavour taste turns into the tastelessness of oneness when not defined as a  taste of something known. However, it was not before, after having had several glimpses of this aspect, that Alexius realised he must have bid welcome the taste of the Enlightenment of that which is One because memories start popping up of a shapeless taste.

When the biological system of the body does not function anymore, the world of the outward-facing senses cannot be experienced. But for almost half an hour you remain in the world of the inward-facing senses, and as it is only in the world of the outward-facing senses the belief in being someone specific can be upheld, nobody is dying.

That is if you do not fight the world of the inward-facing senses by holding onto something specific, that reminds you of being someone in the world of the outward-facing senses.

The graphic is grabbed from the web.

In that which is One, you are not anything at all, not even the bubbling sense of oneness. There is not someone to experience it because that requires more than one. This does not mean that you are gone because that which is you is no different from the formlessness of that which is One. What is gone is the belief in being someone tangible in a world where there seems to be more than one. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

FINALLY, ALEXIUS DIED FROM THE OUTWARD-FACING SENSE OF FEELING THE WORLD
The inward-facing sense of feeling was not easy to reach for Alexius. It took many years of discomfort, vomiting, being hospitalised and sometimes losing the ability to balance – to mention a few of the disturbing things he has encountered as a person getting into the world of the inward-facing sense.

Alexius can add that all memories of discomfort was gone, when he updated this article much later. So do not worry about going with the flow of the inward-facing senses.

But finally, one night, Alexius was in such deep sleep that he completely died from the outward-facing sense. In other words, the belief in being Alexius was momentarily undone so that the Enlightenment of that which is One was bid welcome – not in a visual but emotional way, though. First, there was a moment of discomfort from not sensing his body to be separated from the bed. Then, it was as if everything was like the body and everything else was electric and full of tiny bubbles.

Next, it turned into a feeling with no shape, thus not tangible. Consequently, not establishing Alexius as somebody, wherefore there was and nobody to remember it. In other words, what is written here is based on vague memories that Alexius seem to be able to pick up from what feels very far away and yet right here.

It was not like in a world defined by time and space, where there seems to be different events happening in sequences of time. There was no time. Everything was happening simultaneously. It was one perpetual present of sparkling bubbles and still is, although, returning to a world defined by time and space, it seems to be a sequence of events that is over a long time ago.

Until that night, Alexius only had glimpses of the emotional aspect of that which is One, which is to hear or feel experience the vibration that Aum, Sohang or The Word of God symbolises. If you want to learn how to have such glimpses check out Life has no secrets.

How to activate other glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One, you can read in the article, The four aspects of Enlightenment and how to sample them.

Pretending to be a person in a hospital after a reboot.

To die from the outward-facing senses and return to them again can be compared to rebooting a computer. You come back with a blank slate. Here Alexius is rebooted in a hospital where they spoke a language foreign to him except for the language of their laughter. Since all his conditioning had been blown away, it was easy to play along and have fun in their world of the outward-facing senses. Besides he knew it was make-believe. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen

BACK IN A WORLD WHERE THERE SEEMS TO BE MORE THAN ONE
To leave the Enlightenment of that which is One and reappear as someone in a world where there seems to be more than one, all that is needed is to perceive something as it differs from something else, thus confirming separation. Alexius remembers that when he the first time returned from the intense glimpse of the vibration that Aum, Sohang and The Word of God symbolise, he was brought back by the wish to live as someone as opposed to becoming nobody. Since such a contrast – or any other for that matter – is only applicable in a world where there seems to be more than one, Alexius appeared to be there again.

To experience the Enlightenment of that which is One, there must be someone to experience it. However, that is impossible because it takes more than one to experience something. Thus Alexius’ Enlightened Non Teachings discerns between the Enlightenment of that which is One and glimpses of it.

The former cannot be experienced and the latter is an experience of Enlightenment comparable to watching a movie trailer, which means it is not the Enlightenment of that which is One but a sample of it.

We all know, the world presented to us in a set of virtual reality glasses is not real. Yet most have forgotten, that neither is the world presented to us by the senses. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

We all know that the world experienced in a set of virtual reality glasses is unreal. Yet that applies to everything experienced because it requires more than one to be aware of something, and there is no more than that which is One since it is formless, thus endless. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

SINCE IT TAKES MORE THAN ONE TO EXPERIENCE SOMETHING, AND THERE IS NO MORE THAN THAT WHICH IS ONE, EXPERIENCES ARE UNREAL
We all know that within the framework of a world where there seems to be more than one, the world simulated in virtual reality glasses is not real and that when you take off the glasses, everything that appeared to be in the virtual world disappears, so that is not something to disturb you from seeing what is considered the real world.

Likewise, the more the outward-facing senses are turned off, the less definable appearances prevent you from being in the abstract world of the inward-facing senses with glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One.

But the experience of this world full of lucid light, ethereal music, sweet nectar or transparent bubbles disappears if the outward-facing senses are entirely turned off, as that leaves nothing to define those glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One. Hence there are no glimpses to experience, nor somebody specific to experience them, and thus not something to hide there is nothing but one perpetual present.

Please do not take the expression in Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings about the inward and outward-facing senses too literal. The world of the inward-facing senses refers to a world that is not experienced as outside of you, whereas the world of the outward-facing senses are experienced outside of you. However, all experiences are make-believe.

From the perspective of a world where oneness is divided into more than one, that which is One is nothing. But from the standpoint of oneness – though no such thing is possible, as it requires more than one to have a point of view – it is everything because it is formless, thus endless.

The fear of Enlightenment

Updated June 5, 2022

If you fear the destructive powers of the world, you will probably fear the enlightenment of that which is one, as its light will destroy every definable feature of you just like that. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

If you fear the destructive powers of the world, you may also fear the Enlightenment of that which is One, as it relentlessly destroys every definable feature of what you believe to be in a world where there seems to be more than one. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

VERSION 1:
Jesus said that going to heaven – assuming this meant going into the Enlightenment of that which is One – is more complicated than for a camel to go through an eye of a needle. Yet it seems a person momentarily can forget to uphold the belief in being someone definitive so that there is not something definable to go through the eye of a needle into the Enlightenment of that which is One.

However, since going somewhere requires someone specific, a bit of the belief in being definitive gets through the needle. And this little piece fears being annihilated by the Enlightenment of that which is One, which seems to be more powerful than thousands of atomic bombs.

To defend itself, the leftover identity of you looks for something to define. So, for example, even though the speed of Enlightenment is so fast that there is no separation, it imagines seeing different shapes of light, so it can get back to a world where there seems to be more than one. In such a world, everything happens so slowly that there is plenty of time to realise there is nothing to fear if you do not believe to be someone definitive because then there is nobody to annihilate.

Maybe that was why Alexius returned from the Enlightenment of that which is One. He wanted to escape what was perceived as a relentless power taking his freedom away and wiping out his identity, which is what happens seen from the point of believing to be someone definitive. So he is probably both a non-teacher and non-student of Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings to unlearn this belief, thus preventing the fear reflexes from fighting the Enlightenment of that which is One.

That said, of course, there is nothing to undo and nobody to return to the formlessness of oneness. It has never been left since that calls for more than one.

You cannot bring something into that which is one. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

VERSION 2:
When the cats living with Alexius are at sleep, they sometimes move as if they have a nightmare – at least, this is what he concludes. The oneness of life may draw the same conclusion if it could sense the stress coming from those imagining to be somebody in a world where there seems to be more than one. But just like Alexius cannot see the dreams of his cats, neither can oneness see the imaginations of those who believe that life can be divided into more than one.

Even if life could sense this fantasy in which you are someone who needs to take something from someone else to survive, it would not stop the imagination because it could be too scary to suddenly see that what and where you believe in being is an illusion. Thus life tries to comfort you in your dream world while it sweetly whispers: Come home.

This whisper is heard or felt as an unpronounceable humming often symbolised by the word Aum or Sohang. Read more about that in Life has no secrets. If the humming makes you open your eyes for just one second, you will not see the world you are dreaming about but a light that is much more potent than anything in the dream. The force of an atomic bomb is nothing compared to the strength of this light. It does not illuminate something and is neither opaque nor transparent but so intense that it cannot be apprehended.

To bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one all thoughts made to fabricate an image of you as something definable must be left at the edge of a black hole, so that there is nothing for the bright white light to suck through a black hole into that which is one. This will of course seems very frightening if you want to remain someone definable in a world, where there seems to be more than one, and if so chances are that you out of desperation will define the bright white light and/or the black hole as something, and so you are back in a definable world. If you leave all thoughts behind at the edge of the black hole and end up being no different from that which is one, you can pick up all the thoughts again – in linear time – within a few minutes and return as someone in a world, where there seems to be more than one.

The Enlightenment of that which is One sucks out all the thoughts stored in the brain, making up the experience of being someone definitive. They are left at the edge of a black hole, so there is nothing to fall/float through it into the formlessness of that which is One. This seems very frightening if you want to uphold the belief in being someone definitive. No worries, you take back the thought construction left at the edge of the black hole, which is done by comparing the black hole to something. In this way, the Enlightenment of that which is One becomes definable, and as that is only possible in a definable world, it is over, and you appear as someone in a world defined by time and space. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Without further notice, the light relentlessly and most powerfully wipe out every definable feature that makes up your identity in the dream of a world where life seems to be divided into more than one. This is done so fast and efficient that there is nobody to know you once was somebody, thus nobody to fear obliteration and the free-fall through a black hole into the formlessness of oneness.

But suppose you are attached to being someone definitive. In that case, you fear becoming formless. Thus you fight it by, first, objectifying the fear as something caused by a ruthless force that is determined to destroy you. Second, you perceive the fear you embodied to be powerful enough to smash the Enlightenment of that which is One into more than one, wherefore you, as someone definitive, are back in a world where there seems to be more than one.

That said, you do not have the power to smash the Enlightenment of that which is One, and it does it have the ability to destroy you. It does not have the power to do anything since that requires more than one. And you do not have any power because you do not exist. This is why nothing is terminated in the Enlightenment of that which is One. Instead, you forget to uphold the belief in being someone definitive.

In other words, there is nothing to fear in oneness because it takes more than one to worry about something. However, imagining being someone in a world where there seems to be more than one, it always seems as if there is something to fear. Because to appear as someone definitive, you must permanently exclude what is judged not to be you. And since you do that by projecting your shit onto others, you fear their retaliation.

Fortunately, when not caring about your image, there is nothing to lose from being nobody in a free-fall through a black hole into the formlessness of oneness.

Since there is no more than that which is One, and it requires more than one to wake up, it is impossible. The same applies to reading this article and Alexius having written it. That which we are is not in a world where there seems to be more than one. One could say we are dreaming about it. However, this is a metaphor because, in reality, it takes more than one to dream about something.

How come it seems, that I am wearing a sun-hat?It could be that,it is the season for hats.

Nothing can stop you on Highway One except the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

APPENDIX:
Since the Enlightenment of that which is One is one perpetual present, it cannot be brought back into a world of linear time, so Alexius only has vague memories of something unseparated. It may seem unclear if you have to be nobody to welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One or that it is something it takes care of.

Unfortunately, Alexius cannot clarify that. There is no transition from a world where there seems to be more than one to the Enlightenment of that which is One, so he does not know when it sets in. There are vague memories, though, about total chaos inside him just before it sets in. But no chaos, peace or anything else in the Enlightenment of that which is One, as that requires more than one. For the same reason, nothing is taken away but the illusion of more than one.

’The Enlightenment of that which is one’

Updated June 1, 2022

Why do the flowers fall off the trees on the street sometimes outside Alexius’ home? The answer is simple. It is the season for that. Likewise, it seems to be the season for Alexius to write about bidding welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

The Enlightenment of that which is One does not result in spiritual understanding or connection with a higher being. On the contrary, it results in nothing because it takes more than one to cause something.

Since it also takes more than one to return to that which is One, you cannot do that. But since the same applies to departing oneness, you have never left it. That is why it does not know that you believe to be someone in a world where there seems to be more than one.

Most books or lectures about the Enlightenment of that which is Oneare based on speculations of how to exclude what is judged as dark evil become full of light. But to exclude is to separate, thus an enhancement of the belief in being someone definitive – and nothing definable can enter the Enlightenment of that which is One.

The enlightenment of that which is one can be compared to taking a ride in a fairground carousel so fast, that the mind has to give up seeing any differences at all. Consequently it is not possible to remain as someone definitive and so there is therefore nobody to experience the enlightenment of that which is one. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The Enlightenment of that which is One can be compared to taking a ride in a fairground carousel moving so fast that the brain gives up separating it into different appearances. Consequently, since there is no separation to establish you as someone definitive, there is nobody to experience being brought back to what you never left, namely the formlessness of oneness. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The Enlightenment of that which is One undoes this belief. Metaphorically speaking, it takes you on a ride in a fairground carousel moving so fast that the brain gives up producing different images of it. Thus, eventually, everything is fused into one bright light. However, it is not a light that lightens up anything because that requires more than one. For the same reason, there is no memory of a world where there seems to be more than one.

In other words, the experience of being someone definitive is wiped out by the Enlightenment of that which is One, so there is nobody left to experience bliss or anything else. Therefore, when Alexius talks about the Enlightenment of that which is One, it is not based on the experience of it but on vague memories of something that cannot be experienced.

Reading his memories, you may get the impression that the Enlightenment of that which is One is a sequence of events happening in linear time. But everything ‘happens ‘simultaneously. However, that cannot be described in a world of linear time. And even though it is described as it ‘happened’ many years ago, in non-linear time, it is still ‘happening.’ Hence his description might be a mix of several ‘excursions’ from linear time into one perpetual present.

An early morning, when he was 22 years old, Alexius bid welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One after intensely having worked as a taxi driver for about 15 hours. Somehow the sum of the images from driving back and forth the streets continually looking for customers turned into something less definable and more blurry. When he came home Alexius had no energy left to establish a focused image of himself in a world defined by time and space. Thus forgetting what and where he was, he was not aware of a transition to the spiralling show of psychedelic light that did not seem to come from anywhere and to suck him into nowhere.

All info of someone definitive is extracted by either the light, sound, feeling or taste of the enlightenment of that which is one, so that there is nobody to be sucked through a black hole into the formlessness of that which is one, where there is neither chaos or order, as that would require more than one. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

All info of someone definitive is extracted by either the light, sound, feeling or taste of the enlightenment of that which is One. Thereafter the light sucks nobody  through a black gap in itself into the formlessness of onenes. Most, though, try to avoid loosing their identity by establishing the black gap as something know like a black hole. Thus they remain someone definitive and cannot be sucked through the gap in the light. But they can have glimpses of light on the way back to a world where there seems to be more than one, which many mistakes for being Enlightened. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The enlightenment of that which is One is to be compared to the fusion of all lights, or sounds, or emotions, or tastes – depending on our preference as someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one.

None of these fusions are the formlessness of that which is One. They are merely ways to attract you so you do not resist, when all the thoughts collected to fabricate your personality are extracted by the enlightenment of that which is One, so nothing definable is sucked through a black hole into the formlessness of oneness.

This article is about the first time the belief in being someone definitive momentarily was undone for Alexius. The enlightenment of that which is One was bid welcome in its most known aspect, namely light. Much later the other aspects – sound, emotion and taste – was also bid welcome. Not as a mix though but one by one. It is not possible to mix something in the enlightenment of that which is One, as that requires more than one.

Alexius assumes it is not necessary to bid welcome all the aspects, but that one of them is sufficient in regard to completely forget the imagination of a world where there seems to be more than one.

Suddenly a black gap with no fixed location nor a fixed form, looking like a horse head or an embryo, showed up in the psychedelic light show. And then an utterly colourless light – brighter than the coloured light outside the black spot – started to form as a ring with no defined boundary inside the black area’s edges, which apparently was a hole because colourless light exploded out of it.

This light absorbed everything. It was everywhere and yet nowhere. Without any mention, it knocked out the concept of Alexius and a world where there seems to be more than one, so the nothingness of him gracefully fell into the formlessness of oneness – or maybe it floated into oneness. Alexius cannot recall because the thought construction shaping him was left outside the black hole. Besides, everything happened simultaneously. Nevertheless, there is a sense of forever falling while swimming in a space that was not there – and then, in the exact moment as forever falling, it never happened because there was nothing but that which is one, and it takes more than one for something to happen.

That is all, folks. There is no more to tell. At this point, the Enlightenment of that which is One is over, and there is nothing but the formlessness of oneness. It is not a big void of nothing filled with exotic ideas of unconditional love and whatnot. On the contrary, it is not filled with anything since that requires more than one.

Thus oneness is neither peaceful nor stillness or anything else. Metaphorically speaking, its speed is so fast that it is not possible to differentiate anything. Hence there is not something to see or anyone to realise that. Nor to hear the incredible noise of the speed. Especially because it is so loud that all sounds merge into one, all lights into one light, all emotions into one feeling, and tastes into one taste.

The above is not to be understood as the Enlightenment of that which is One is a mix of light, sound, emotion and taste. They are four aspects of it. But you only bid one of them welcome at a time. It does not matter which one of them. They all have the same purpose. Namely to attract to the extent that you cannot help but let them extract all thoughts, making it appear as if you are someone definitive. And then leave them at the edge of a black hole so that there is nothing definable to be sucked through it into the formlessness of oneness.

The latter about leaving thoughts at the edge of a black hole may be a twisted memory. And it is, of course, a metaphor to say oneness is on the other side of a black hole because it is formless, thus without inside or outside.

Dunno if there is a spiral around the black hole of the enlightenment of that which is one, because being that close nothing seems to differ from each other. Yet for a moment so short, that it is not conceivable, a light inside the edge of the black hole so much brighter that the very bright light around it, suddenly explodes into a formless light that does not include Alexius but the formlessness of that which I am. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Alexius seems to remember a spiral around a black hole in the Enlightenment of that which is One. However, he does not remember it exactly as in this image – either because everything was moving extremely fast or he was so close that nothing seemed to differ from each other. Yet for a moment, so short that it is not conceivable, white light inside the edge of the black hole – so much brighter than the very colourful light around it – exploded into a bright light that erased everything definable. Thus he cannot report what ‘happened’ after being sucked by formless light through a shapeless black hole into that which is One. Nor can he find an image on the web that can illustrate the vague memories of this. Fortunately, you can go there yourself – or rather stop going anywhere. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

THE ENLIGHTENMENT OF THAT WHICH IS ONE IS INEXPLAINABLE
When Alexius welcomed the Enlightenment of that which is One, he was not aware of doing that. Actually, he had never heard about it, nor seen a black hole. Fortunately, he did not define anything because otherwise, he would have bounced back to a world where there seems to be more than one. Thus the description of a black hole leading into that which is One is made retrospectively.

Actually, it was not before much later, when he saw pictures of black holes in the universe, that he sensed how familiar they were. But calling a black hole a path into oneness is a metaphor because there is neither an entrance nor an exit to that which is one. In other words, describing the Enlightenment of that which is One is impossible because even though so much goes on, nothing definable happens because it is one perpetual present.

To bid welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One, you do not have to drive a taxi all night or be in ’a deep sleep’ like Buddha supposedly talked about. Whatever way you lose focus or stop defining and labelling will do regarding bidding welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One. However, meditation may not work. It is generally about concentrating and focusing on achieving something specific – and anything definable fend off the Enlightenment of that which is One.

NOTES:

  • The article is about the most known aspect of the Enlightenment of that which is One, namely light. The element that comes to you when bidding welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One depends on your preferences as someone definitive. If you are very visual, light comes to extract all your definable traits, so there is not something to be sucked through a black hole into that which is One. Read here about the other aspects.

Why do the oranges fall from the trees on the street outside Alexius’ home every November? The answer is simple. It is the season for that. Likewise, it seems to be the season to write about bidding welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One.

THE ENLIGHTENMENT OF THAT WHICH IS ONE IS NOT IN A WORLD WHERE THERE SEEMS TO BE MORE THAN ONE

(√) When you forget what and where you appear to be, ‘the Enlightenment of that which One’ sets in

Updated June 19, 2022

_IGP9809-Edit-5

Praying, meditating, fasting, dressing in exotic clothes or being with special people in unique places does not help you welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One because doing something implies that you are somebody. But if you forget what and where you are, there is nobody to fend off the Enlightenment of that which is One wait for. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Since it takes more than one to be aware of something, the Enlightenment of that which is One cannot be experienced. Thus nobody can tell you what it is or teach you how to bid it welcome. But over time, you can learn not to welcome a world where there seems to be more than one, so it does not appear to hide that which is One. This is the function of all Alexius’ Duality Hacks except the Enlightenment of that which is One (hack #6.1). It terminates everything that is not one without delay.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings do not use the word Enlightened to describe someone who has achieved a better understanding or a higher consciousness. You do not get wiser or loftier from the Enlightenment mentioned in Alexius’ Duality Hacks. It is the Enlightenment of that which is One, and it requires more than one to become something.

The awareness of ever having experienced being someone in a world where there seems to be more than one is terminated in the Enlightenment of that which is One. Actually, all consciousness comes to an end because it takes more than one to know something. This takes a split second or maybe more. It cannot be known because there is no time when nobody is aware of it. Hence there is no experience of past and future to hide, there never was or will be anything but one perpetual present.

Most, however, return to the awareness of being someone in a world where there seems to be more than one before their consciousness is completely cut off. They avoid that by justifying the fear of destruction with that which is One, and so they are back in a world where there seems to be more than one.

If you do not want to fend off the Enlightenment of that which is One, do not by projecting your fear onto it but include the horror as it is. However, not by embracing it, since that establishes you as someone definitive, but by completely being frightened and nothing else. Hence there is not something to define you as someone, and thus nobody to prevent the Enlightenment of that which is One from leaving what you believed in being at the edge of a black hole, consuming the light and the emptiness of you, so nothing gracefully falls into that which is One.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The return to that which is One does not involve transformation but the destruction of you, so if you are into realising your self, awaken, live in the now, come from the heart, and whatnot, the Enlightenment of that which is One is not for you. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

If you are visually minded, you seem to return to that which is One as bright light. But if you are more into listening, feeling or tasting, you seem to return as sound, touch or taste. That said, you do not actually return to that which is One because you never left it. It is impossible since doing so requires more than one. However, it seems possible to believe there is more than that which is One, and in that context, you seem to return to that which is One.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

None of the exciting stories about divine presence, higher self and consciousness applies to that which is One but a world where there seems to be more than one. But what you get there is not real.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Hardly anybody welcomes the Enlightenment of that which is One. However, they may accept glimpses because, contrary to the Enlightenment of that which is One, they can be experienced without having one’s consciousness erased. And you can fool yourself into thinking they have awakened or transformed you.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

There is not something to awaken from or return to, nor any awareness to achieve because there is no more than that which is one – and it takes more than one to do something.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

As already said, the Enlightenment of that which is One cannot be experienced by somebody. Hence the description in Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings comes from somebody having memories of being nobody falling through a black hole into that which is one. In other words, although the Enlightenment of that which is One is impersonal, Alexius’ description of it is personal. Thus he cannot promise his description of the Enlightenment of that which is one is correct.

But he can guarantee that the descriptions cannot be replicated by you or himself. First of all, because it takes more than one to reproduce something, and secondly because there is nothing personal in the Enlightenment of that which is One. See also The ins and outs of a black hole.

Yet, his descriptions of the Enlightenment of that which is One may inspire you to have the belief in being someone definitive undone. Part of that is to forget everything you have heard or read about Enlightenment – including what you believe to read here.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

To avoid being affected by thoughts, no particular posture or surroundings are needed. All that is required is not to be concerned about the outcome of anything. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

A particular body posture, state of mind, kundalini awakening and whatnot is not needed to welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One because it does not enter the body, aura, chakras or anything else in a world where there seems to be more than one. On the contrary, it undoes the belief in anything that can be experienced – including primordial energy, consciousness, astral worlds and whatnot – so that only what cannot be experienced is left, namely the formlessness oneness.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Suppose you do not believe thoughts are real. In that case, it is easy to welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One because all that is needed to do that is not to be attentive to the apparent meaning of thoughts. This is not the same as stopping them. Doing something enhances the belief in being someone specific – and being that requires lots of thoughts with a specific meaning.

Neither should it be understood as you become aware of the Enlightenment of that which is One instead of thoughts. It is impossible to be conscious of the Enlightenment of that which is One, as it takes more than one to be aware of something.

For the same reason, you are not in the Enlightenment of that which is One anymore if you return to a world where there seems to be more than one, and the person you appear to has not been changed or transformed. Yet, there are vague memories of nothing being moved into that which is one, so you are to be compared to someone who is the Enlightenment of that which is One.

If someone only partially bids welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One, one will have glimpses of it. Maybe spaced-out visions of travelling through different universes, seeing Jesus or the birth of a new universe in slow motion, which is very exciting, of course. Still, it is something experienced, so it has nothing to do with the Enlightenment of that which is One. Neither if you hear, feel nor taste it.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The visual aspect of having glimpses of enlightenment can for example reveal the birth of a universe. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The visual aspect of having glimpses of Enlightenment can, for example, reveal the birth of a universe. But it will neither be experienced as if it is outside or inside but nowhere and everywhere. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

When you see all thoughts as a symbol of the bright white light, their apparent differences in time and space do not make a difference. Thus there is no separation to hide that which is One.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The world is nothing but a construction of thoughts that seem to have the power to hide that which is One when you perceive them to be something specific.

Thus you may conclude it is best to stop thoughts. But they are not what hide the Enlightenment of that which is One. Instead, it is a belief that they establish you as someone.

Correcting that is not about doing something but about not doing what you do to hide the bright, white light, namely taking thoughts seriously. By not doing that, the belief in them as yours cannot be maintained. Therefore, since you are nobody, you automatically welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One. That said, if there is still the slightest belief in being someone, you will not want to be sucked into a black hole and as nothing descend into that which is one. Chances are you right away will return to the world constructed of thoughts because you still cherish one or more of them.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Nobody will know if you have bid welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One. Knowing it requires more than one, thus overlooking the Enlightenment of that which is One.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

This is a graphic simulation o the black hole, where you are sucked in by an explosion of light, if you do not insist in seeing forms. If you are willing to be burned up by the pure bright light, there is no one to see – neither nothing to see. All there is, is that which is.

This is a graphic simulation of the black hole, where the thought construction that holds you together as if you are someone tangible is left at its edge, so what is not definable is sucked through the black hole by a highly intense light into that which is One. That is, if you do not insist on seeing something definable in the light and are willing to be burned away by it. If so, the last thing you see is a black hole, and then you are no more. You never were because it takes more than one to be someone, and there is no more than that which is One. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

To bid welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One, all you need to do is stop focusing on experiencing something tangible. If you believe in seeing something definable, it seems to hide the formlessness of oneness.

It is neither light nor darkness or anything in between. But light is used to extract all the thoughts used to make up the experience of being someone tangible, so there is not something to be sucked into a black hole and spit out on the other side into that which is One. However, there is no other side because there is no more than that which is One. Therefore, this explanation only makes sense as long as you believe in a world where there seems to be more than one.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

It is not uncommon to bid welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One and afterwards dismiss the vague memories as nothing because what is formless, thus not definable, cannot be remembered as something. In other words, since the Enlightenment of that which is One cannot be shared in a world where there seems to be more than one, it is often dismissed as real.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The Enlightenment of that which is One does not bring you back to the formlessness of oneness. It is impossible. That which is you is no different from that which is One, and since it is formless, thus endless, there is nothing outside of it. Consequently, you have never been left – only in fantasy.

The Enlightenment of that which is One does not change this imagination but heals the sick belief that it is real. Rebooted as someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one, you sense this very clearly because even though the memories of the Enlightenment of that which is One are vague, one thing stands out crystal clear: There is no more than that which is One.

So if you are looking for something big and supernatural that will support you and help you to become more spiritual, you will do everything to fend off the Enlightenment of that which is One because it has none of those qualities you are looking for. It does not have anything since it requires more than one to have something.

Not something, neither nothing but that which is One

Updated June 24, 2022

The crowd in Alexius’ bar Floss turned out to be a community of punks, musicians and models. Although their appearance was quite different from Alexius’s, their content was the same empty space. However, in their case, they tried to fill it with something special, like going to Floss, which was considered the coolest place to meet. The image is grabbed from the web.

PART 1:
In the eyes of the world, Alexius has been very successful. First, he designed two trendy restaurants and two bars that he had for 12 years. Later he was a TV producer, a designer for big and small companies and then a teacher in public relations – all of it without any education or watching TV. Read more about Alexius’ personal story.

Before becoming a businessman, but after working as a kindergarten teacher and a taxi driver, he was a monk for four years. Though his different activities may seem very different, the purpose was always the same, setting his personality aside. So the children in the kindergarten could find their own feet to walk on, and people hiring a taxi could get to their destination peacefully. His restaurants and bars could grow in a way that benefitted the community evolving from them. The energy of a TV broadcasting – just like his design – would highlight the content and not the designer.

So whether he was doing something mundane or living in a monastery, it was always about phasing out his personality and not listening to the ecstatic voice telling him how much he could become and have if following his desires. But he did not need to fill the emptiness in him with something because as someone compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One, he knew something is nothing in disguise.

In other words, Alexius knows time and space are fake. And it seems scientists also know because they say the world we believe in feeling and seeing consists of 99.9999999 per cent empty space. And the rest – despite also being empty space consisting of nothing substantial – is what we perceive as elements of matter making up a tangible world where we appear to be somebody definitive. Therefore, since what you believe in being is nothing that you have learned to perceive as something, you must unlearn everything.

This will not change your appearance into something angelic or heavenly. Neither will it change the look of the world outside of you. But you start sensing something is nothing. This does not mean that what appears to be inside of you is real. On the contrary, there is no inside because that which is you is no different from oneness, which is formless, thus with no inside and outside.

The personality is there to be used for having fun in the world.

Even though Alexius is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One, appearing as someone in a world where there seems to be more than one, he has a personality like everybody – just like he also has a body. But although his aura is crystallised, it is not full of light, and neither is his body or personality because the Enlightenment of that which is One does not know a world where there seems to be more than one. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

PART 2:
One part of Alexius’ personality is very forgiven. Not in the sense that it first condemns and then forgives – but that it simply overlooks appearances. However, the other part does not miss anything, and it is not willing to forgive the appearances that do not meet its expectations. Instead, it insists they should change.

If one leg is shorter than the other, you do not get rid of the ´wrong´ one. Best to keep both of them because that makes it easier to walk. Likewise, it is best to keep both the good and evil part of the personality because when they meet they cancel out each othwer, wherefore it impossible to define you as someone definitive.

Alexius could improve this part of his personality, but he chooses to let the forgiven part of him overlook the grudges from the angry part. At times though, he sees the grudge as warnings, for instance, when standing at the edge of a mountain.

And they served him well when he was in the advertising business. Thanks to the faultfinder part of his personality, he quickly saw what needed to be corrected in a project. It is also that part he uses when proofreading Alexius’ Duality Hacks. In this way, both aspects of his personality can go on doing what they do the best. Nothing needs to be denied, rejected or transformed. Everything is fine as it is.

This has nothing to do with oneness but using the personality to have fun pretending to be in a world where there seems to be more than one. Fortunately, when not trying to correct or change the personality, the belief in it as real is not enhanced but phased out.

APPENDIX:
Alexius
can convert the wordless humming he receives from the edge of the universe into Alexius’ Duality Hacks when he remembers he is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One. Because it is only possible to shape the humming into Alexius’ Duality Hacks when setting the personality aside. Read more about that here.

If you read them to enhance your personality, you may feel put down by Alexius’ Duality Hacks. On the other hand, if you read them to phase out the personality, you feel free when you are left out.

NOTE: This article is part of hack #3.3 Phasing out the personality by not being exclusive.

Without contrasts, there is nothing but non-duality

Updated June 27, 2022

When contrasts meet they cancel each other out, so if you for example do not exclude negativity in order to experience positivity, you would not be able to judge something as positive. In other words, when all contrasts are included, you would not even be able to experience yourself as someone definitive. You would be that which you always have been and always will be, namely the formlessness of that which is one, which cannot be experienced as there are no contrasts in that which is formless.

When the opposing sides of a contrast meet, they cancel out each other, so if you, for example, do not suppress negativity to experience positivity, you will not be able to judge something as positive. In other words, when all contrasts are included, you cannot perceive yourself as someone definitive. Hence there is nothing to hide what always has been and will be, namely the formlessness of oneness. It cannot be experienced, though, as that requires more than one. It merely is one perpetual present. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Two different worlds were about to evolve in the milliseconds after the big bang: one of matter (the one we believe to see) and one of antimatter. But matter and antimatter cannot coexist. If they meet, an incredible amount of energy is released, and they disappear in one big flash

Antimatter, therefore, had to be excluded for matter to appear as a tangible universe defined by time and space. This does not mean that antimatter has gone. Since the experience of a tangible world is produced by the brain, antimatter only needs to be excluded from our experience. That is why science cannot find it, although it must be somewhere according to their observations of the universe.

Death defines the condition of life in a world of duality.

A tangible world is experienced through contrasts, and as the opposing parts cancel out each other if they meet, one side of a contrast must be suppressed to experience the other as specific. For example, to experience beauty as something definitive, its counterpart, ugliness, must be excluded, as otherwise, they cancel each other out – just like antimatter had to be separated from matter to establish a world defined by time and space.

In other words, without separation, nothing definitive is established. On the contrary, the world defined by time and space is cancelled out in one big flash. This is what is called the Enlightenment of that which is One* in Alexius’ Duality Hacks. You can read about that in HACK #6, The inward-facing senses, Enlightenment and glimpses of it.

More, faster and cheaper is the common mantra. And to make it work, non-duality is replaced with a world of duality, that is imagined in contrasts of more and less, fast and slow, cheap and expensive and so on.

When contrast are not kept apart, so that you can experience one part of it on the expense of the other, they annihilate each other in one big flash. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

If contrasts are not kept apart to experience one part of it at the expense of the other, they annihilate each other in one big flash. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Most, however, do not want to be cancelled. On the contrary, they always look for the next big thing to make them more happy and perfect. But happiness cannot be felt without its contrast, sadness, and there is no perfection without imperfection. It is not possible to know that you experience something specific without knowing its contrast, which is only possible when you believe to be someone in a world where there seems to be more than one.

All experiences are deceptive – also the experience of dimension. Reality is more flat than this image, because it is the formlessness of that which is one and formlessness is sizeless. Besides it takes more than one to experience something and as formlessness is endless, there is no more than that which is one. When defocusing contrasts fades out and so the brain cannot fabricate an illusion of reality. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

When you defocus, contrasts fade out. Hence the brain cannot fabricate an illusion of something definable. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

But as oneness is formless, thus endless, anything that calls for more than one is an illusion. Should you choose to have this exposed, hence the belief in separation undone, you can apply hack #3.2 Inclusiveness is freedom to cancel out contrasts. But there are also other ways. For example, defocusing, see The four aspects of Enlightenment and how to sample them. Below are other hacks for cancelling out the opposing sides of contrast:

Inclusiveness turns death into a portal to that which is One [DRAFT]

Updated June 17, 2022

The graphic is grabbed from the web.

This graphical illustration of a so-called out-of-body experience is not entirely correct. You observe yourself from above, but the observer is nowhere to be seen. Since this observation is done from another angle than usual, you conclude you are outside the body. Yet you have never been inside or outside of it. What and where you appear to be is a story made by the brain. And you only agree to believe it because otherwise, you are nothing. However, in the moment of death, the brain does not have enough oxygen to uphold the images sustaining your belief. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

VERSION 1:
In the moments leading up to death, the brain slowly runs out of oxygen. Thus it cannot fabricate the usual images of you in a world defined by time and space. Therefore, since thoughts and feelings no longer can be assigned to something definitive, they do not settle but rapidly pass by in an unstructured fashion. That is, if you do not hang onto some of them to reestablish yourself as someone in a world defined by time and space.

But if you do that, you feel stuck inside thoughts and feelings because they cannot establish you as someone definitive anymore since the brain has stopped producing the experiences of a world defined by time and space. You are alone with all your thoughts and feelings, and that is like being in hell if you are used to excluding the uncomfortable ones by dumping them in the body because it is gone.

Fortunately, you are not boxed in by your selected thoughts and feelings but by your desire to be verified by them as someone definitive. So if you do not look for thoughts and feelings to prove you are someone, thoughts pass very fast, and when they are gone, feelings rush by. Therefore, since there is nothing to confirm the illusion of time and space, you are what you always have been and will be, namely the formlessness of oneness. It is very peaceful because it leaves out anything that requires more than one, such as thinking and feeling.

Death is rough if you are used to being exclusive but smooth when inclusiveness comes naturally.

To make long short, by not being exclusive but inclusive, your appearance in a world where there seems to be more than one is a simple ride that ends with death, which is a portal to that which is One. No fear is holding you back when everything is included. Hence there is nothing to hide that which is you is no different from that which is One.

When you are about to lose consciousness about yourself at the moment of death, do not hang onto it, because it takes more than one to be conscious about something, so without it, there is nothing to hide that which is One.

When death sets in, you are sucked into a black hole. That is, if you do not try to define where you are going because then you uphold the belief in being someone definitive. So when the light at the edges of the black hole explodes into a light so bright that there is not something specific to experience, you feel like exploding too. But if not avoiding it, the nothingness of you gently falls into the formlessness of oneness. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

VERSION 2:
In the moments of death, the brain runs out of exogen. Thus it cannot produce the images of a world that confirms the belief that there is more than that which is one. So if you do not hang onto the memories of being someone in such a world, there is not something that seems to hide the formlessness of oneness. But if you cling to your memories, death looks very scary and claustrophobic because you remember yourself as substantial, and it cannot be confirmed by someone in a world where there seems to be more than one.

Not hanging onto the consciousness of being someone feels like the end of you. But it is not the end of anything other than the belief it is possible to be and have more than that which is One.

Fortunately, there are no memories of such a world to hang onto if you have been inclusive while appearing to be there because, not excluding anything, you do not seem to be someone specific. In other words, the inclusion of everything experienced does not result in you embodying everything. On the contrary, your apparent existence as someone definitive is over. Hence there is nobody to care about being somebody.

When nothing is excluded, there is not something to define you, thus nothing to hurt you. As nobody, you are free to fall into the formlessness of oneness. The animation is grabbed from the web.

VERSION 3:
Like there are no memories of you in a physical world when dreaming, there are no memories of you in a material world when the body you thought to reside dies.

Read more about death in Inclusiveness turns death into a portal to that which is One.

But all the thoughts and feelings you excluded to define you as physical, chaotically and speedily rush by. For example, suppose you excluded negativity to establish yourself as positive, then it will rush by followed by everything else you have excluded.

However, as there is no physical world experience anymore, there is nothing to define you as somebody. Consequently, there is nobody who can escape unwanted thoughts and feelings by projecting them onto somebody else. In other words, you are on your own, as you always were and always will be, because there is no more than that which is One since it is formless, thus endless.

If you do not believe to be someone in a world where there seems to be more than one, you cannot suffer from pain, because it takes more than one to have a specific experience.

For the same reason, the pain of loneliness that all the excluded thoughts and feelings popping up seems to cause, you cannot share with anybody. It feels like you cannot leave hell. But if all thoughts and feelings are included, you do not need to hide them in a physical world. Thus you are at peace, slowly falling into the formlessness of oneness, where there is no hell because it takes more than one to be somewhere.

In a world where there seems to be more than one, everything is experienced to be separated. But since it requires more than one to experience this, and there is no more than that which is One since it is formless and therefore endless, the experience is not real. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

VERSION 4:
Believing to be someone definitive, you probably assume relaxation comes from a good night’s sleep, sex, fitness, yoga or massage, for example. But that is because the brain produces thoughts that imply you are someone inside a body. However, it cannot do at the moment of death because it is running out of oxygen.

Thoughts are still produced, but as they no longer can be experienced to come from a specific self in a tangible body, the experience is not that you are definitive but rapidly changing thoughts making you crazy.

That is, if you are not in the habit of sorting out your confusion but having its uncontrolled energy ignites a take-off into the empty breath because then you are accustomed to the emptiness of not-knowing it entails, thus not bothered about thoughts not adding up to something familiar. See hack #5.1 Uncontrolled speed leads to a state of not-knowing.

In that case, the rapid flow of thoughts is soon finished and replaced by a similar chaotic flow, but this time of feelings. And suppose the emptiness of not-knowing is not left in favour of going down memory lane to find something well-known to support specific feelings as real. Then the flow ends quickly, everything is blank and the Enlightenment of that which is One set in. See hack #6.1 The Enlightenment of that which is One.

If you want to be at one with a soulmate, god or whatnot, the formlessness of oneness will seem claustrophobic because it takes more than one to become one with somebody, and oneness has only room for one.

However, not being someone most people avoid by hanging onto feelings of fear. Besides, very few get past the fleeting thoughts because they try to capture the friendly ones and compile them into an experience of being someone in a tangible body. But the brain does not have enough oxygen to produce a continuous experience of being in a body, so the satisfaction that comes from smoking, sex or something else that a body cannot be found. Thus, it slowly dawns on you that the happiness you used to get is out of reach. Therefore, panic sets in since you feel stuck in nowhere, and it feels like hell.

Fortunately, any experience you believe in having is a deception. It is impossible to experience something at all because it takes more than one to do that, and there is no more than that which is One since it is formless, thus endless. Yet it seems possible to dream about a world where there seems to be more than one.

Even though a dream is not real, your responses imply that it is. But as everything in a dream has an end, so have the reactions that seem to attest to you being there. However, nothing seems to finish, if not clinging to your responses or anything else that establishes you as someone definitive.

An out-of-body experience is just as hallucinatory as an in the body. That which is you is neither in nor outside of anything because it is the formlessness of everything.

38455201.BUGSTV_0224

There is no world to see when the TV screen is blank. So what you see is what you believe to be there. This is also what you see when there appears to be a world on the TV screen because the world is in the eye of the beholder. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

VERSION 5:
A near-death experience can be compared to watching a movie on the TV screen. Suddenly the screen turns blank, and only the sound is left. The world on the TV is gone, and there is nothing but the sound of your thoughts.

When death sets in, the brain quickly runs out of oxygen, so it does have not enough to fabricate the usual images of a world defined by time and space. Instead, it processes sedative images, like tunnels of light, to prevent you from panicking when it cannot produce the usual experience of a world defined by time and space.

But if you do not believe to be someone, nobody experiences tunnels of light or other spaced-out things. Neither is there anybody who needs to see calming images, as there is nobody in a panic because nobody is dying.

APPENDIX:
When something is over, only the story about it stops. Life has no beginning and end because it is formless. So if you mourn the end of someone, it is not life but your story about it that makes you cry. This is how your story is made real and life unreal. That is, if you forget, it is life that makes it possible to make the story – not forgetting that you love any story, including its end.

The love of life, by the way, is not warm, cold, or something else. Nor is it nothing because it takes more than one to be anything, and it is that which is One. That is why it lasts.
