There is nothing wrong in the world because it is not there

Each metaphor in Alexius’ Duality Hacks adds to others in one direction or another exposing all ways as fake because it takes more than one to go somewhere, and there is no more than that which is One since it is formless, thus endless. Many people have inner visions or experiences that make them conclude there is something wrong with how we live in the world. We should live in peace, in the now, and from the heart. But the problem is not the way we live in the world. The problem is that we believe in being there.

According to science, there was nothing before the world. Then nothing blew up and turned into something. But believing that nothing can explode and come out of a black hole as something is like believing in Santa Claus.

This belief Alexius’ Duality Hacks undo while you enjoy the crazy idea that nothing disguised as something can hide there never was or will be anything but that which is One because it takes more than one to have a shape, so oneness is formless, thus endless.

Somebody cannot bid welcome ‘the Enlightenment of that which is One,’ but nobody can

Fear and other emotions may seem to be a hindrance for the Enlightenment of that which is One. It is not the emotions, though, that fend it off but that you believe they are yours. That which is you does not feel anything because it takes more than one to do so, and it is no different from that which is One. For the same reason, that which is you does not think, nor is it conscious of anything.

This does not mean you should try to stop this. First of all, that which is you cannot control anything as that calls for more than one. Secondly, while you appear to be someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one, it is impossible to stop being aware of feelings and thoughts since that is what makes you appear to be there.

It is, of course, possible to deny the awareness of thoughts and feelings by meditating, for example. But whether you establish yourself to be someone who has something or nothing, you are definable and thus in denial of that which is you, as oneness is formless.

Pretending to be someone, on the other hand, what you have is not yours because what you pretend to be you are not. Thus nobody has thoughts and feelings or is conscious of anything. See hack #1.3 Pretending to be someone definitive is liberation. Consequently, nobody bids welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One.

This is not the only way to become a nobody. As everything in a world of duality comes in pairs, there is no fear without trust, so if you are so full of fear that there is nothing else, it cannot be defined by trust. Therefore, since you are full of nothing, you are not somebody but nobody. See hack #3.1 Inclusiveness is freedom.

You could also stick to being the basic self by perceiving any kind of experience, whether it appears mundane or spiritual, as ‘it is what it is.’ See hack #4.2 The brain’s script and how to perceive it to feel happy. Since that means emotions do not stick to you, they do not fend off the Enlightenment of that which is One. Nor will they prevent you from having a marvellous time in a world where there seems to be more than one until the Enlightenment of that which is One erases everything that requires more than one.

You do not need to refrain from sex or anything else to make these or any other duality hack work. However, if you are willing to have the belief that you are someone in a world where there seems to be more than one, Alexius’ Duality Hacks apply themselves the more you read Alexius’ Duality Hacks.

The willingness comes by itself when you admit you are not willing to have this belief undone because acknowledging that confirms what and where you appear to be is make-believe.

APPENDIX:
Since the application of the above duality hacks requires more than one, they are as illusionary as anything else in a world in a world of duality, including the writer and reader of this. However, the purpose of them is not to make us seem like we are somebody but that we, just like anything else that calls for more than one, are nothing because non-duality is formless, thus endless, so there is no more than that which is One.

In a long forgotten land, there lived an old man in a house far away from everything.

THE OLD MAN IN A FORGOTTEN LAND
In a land long time forgotten, there was a wise old man who was said to know the way to the enlightenment of that which is One. A young man, who dreamed about this, travelled for months through the country until he finally found the old man in an obscure place far from everything. He asked the old man if he could show him the way to the enlightenment of that which is One, and the old man answered: »No problem if you are willing to work for it.«

»Of course,« said the young man, who was very eager to get started, but a little surprised when the old man asked him to dig a ditch around his house. He assumed the old man was poor so that if he did it for free, all secrets would be revealed.

He, therefore, did his best to impress the old man, but it was not easy. The old man kept saying the work was not good enough. It could be much better, and the ditch should be much deeper. When the old man finally seemed satisfied, the young one thought he would be rewarded for all his hard work.

EXPECTING SOMETHING FOR SOMETHING
For about a week, the young man patiently waited for the old man to show his appreciation. Though the old man said nothing, he treated the old man with much respect, thinking the more he could make the old man feel good, the more he would reveal. For weeks the old man did not approach the young man at all until one day, he quietly asked him to fill up the ditch again.

The young man freaked out and started to wonder if the old man was a wise man, but he decided to see what would happen if he did what he was told. And so he filled up the ditch so that you could hardly see, there ever had been one.

A SHITTY AWARD
The young man was very proud of his work, and when the old man asked him to meet at his house precisely one hour later, he thought, now all secrets will be revealed. So he opened the door to the house with a big smile. But it did not last because the old man threw a bucket of cow shit on the young man from his hiding place above the door. The young man got angrier than ever before in his life – especially as through the shit, he saw how amazed the old man was.

Furiously he left the old man, thinking he had wasted months of his precious life with this sadistic man, who knew nothing about the enlightenment of that which is One. After some time, however, he felt like coming back, and so one more time, he asked the old man to teach him the secret way to the enlightenment of that which is One.

Again the old man said yes and gave him one meaningless assignment after the other. A year or more went on like this, and when the old man one day again threw a bucket of cow shit on the young man, he quietly looked at the old man with a happy smile beneath the shit.

The young man did not feel young anymore, nor old. And he was no more looking for secrets to be revealed in the future. He was not looking for anything at all, neither did he assume that he in any way had done or was anything special. All his ideas were gone. He was empty, and in the emptiness, he saw nothing. Thus there was not something to hide the enlightenment of that which is One.

FAILURE CAN BE THE BIGGEST SUCCESS
In the above, Alexius might have mixed old stories he heard in his 20s. He considered them spaced out and not in touch with modern life, which he assumed was about being recognised as somebody, like when he entered a disco, and the DJ turned down the music to greet him through the speakers. Nowadays, though, he is not swimming in success. But since Alexius is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One, he is the perfect medium for Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings. And since it is not about success, he cannot fail.

The ins and outs of the inward-facing senses

The empty breath is not a step to something better because it is a state of not knowing, and so the other duality hacks. Hence there is no way to know if they differ from each other or in any way overlap each other. No worries. There is nobody to care about that in a state of not-knowing. Alexius especially experiences the world of the inward-facing senses and its glimpses of Enlightenment before falling asleep. In this case, it is by giving the world of the outward-facing senses his minimum attention. During the day, the outward-facing senses get more attention while doing something.

Before going to sleep, he is brought into a state of not-knowing, maybe with glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is one. He is not aware, though, how how much time it last. But less than 30 minutes because the brain falls into a coma if there is nobody to be aware of its thoughts of a world where there seems to be more than one (see the article Willingness not to exclude but include undoes the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one).

A state of not-knowing can be brought about the empty breath, glimpses of enlightenment, inclusiveness, pretending to be someone definitive, seeing symbols of life in the world or being alone together (see Alexius’ Duality Hacks). But since it is a state of not-knowing you cannot know if the hacks bring about the same state of not-knowing.

But when he wakes up in the morning, he knows that the cure for believing in being someone definitive is a state of not-knowing. Whether triggered by the empty breath or another duality hack does not matter. What matters is that its bliss of nothing is achieved effortlessly without the help of thoughts and feelings. Therefore, when he returns to the consciousness of being someone, he knows that thoughts and feelings are only needed for the bliss of anything but for the belief in being someone.

When the empty breath is in charge of the switch between the inner and outward-facing senses, there is neither inside nor outside.

When not focussing on something specific, the world of the outward-facing senses becomes blurry. Hence the world of the inward-facing senses opens up. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

A NIGHT WITH BLISSFUL MOMENTS OF NOT-KNOWING
Laying in the bed with a sleep mask and ear plugs* plugged into his ears, the transparent sound of the empty breath seems to transport him into worlds of light, where lucid universes unfold at an extreme speed, or flowers in slow-mo until thoughts or feelings try to surface and sleep sets in. Going into a deep sleep, the visions of light continue, and when he wakes up early in the morning, they turn into ethereal harmonies.

It does not seem exciting to me anymore to travel in worlds of light. I am rather naturally attracted to leaving everything behind and as nothing sucked though a black hole into that which is one. It seems though, that I am to return in order to complete my non teachings. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Actually, this is a typical description from many years ago, where the glimpses of Enlightenment were exciting journeys in the enchanted worlds of light. Nowadays, he does not care much for such visions, which mostly are exciting because they, to some extent, are recognisable. Instead, he is drawn to visions of abstract nothingness. That is until they swirl together around a so-called black hole. This is neither exciting nor relaxing. It just is.

The vibration that Aum or Sohang symbolises** is another aspect of the Enlightenment of that which is One that can be experienced through the inward-facing senses. In the case of Alexius, it pops up now and then during the day as a natural extension of the empty breath. The taste of the Enlightenment of that which is One also pops up – for example, when he writes about it.

The Enlightenment of that which is One is impersonal, but the vague memories of it is filtered by the personality. Since it cannot take in one perpetual present, the Enlightenment of that which is One is described as a personal experience in time and space. On the other hand, glimpses of enlightenment is solely a personal experience.

Eyes cannot see – they translate, or it is rather the brain that translate all the otherwise meaningless info it receives through the eyes according to how it is conditioned to see the world. If it receives info that does not fit into its image of the world, it twist it until it does. In other words, you have no idea about what is written in this article or what is in the world. If you acknowledge this you do not need to read my non teachings, because this acknowledgement bids welcome the enlightenment of that which is one. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The eyes cannot see – they translate***, or rather it is the brain that translates the frequencies it claims to receive from the eyes. Therefore, since your brain has fabricated what you believe to be reading, you have no idea what is said in it. Acknowledging this is to bid welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One. YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU READ BECAUSE IT IS FABRICATED BY THE BRAIN
Be aware that the above is how Alexius experiences the world of the inward-facing senses when the world of the outward-facing senses gets less attention. But like you and he probably experience things differently in the world of the outward-facing senses, the same may apply to the world of the inward-facing senses. And regarding the Enlightenment of that which is One, his vague memories of not being someone at all are most likely selective (see hack #6.1 The Enlightenment of that which is One).

In other words, the descriptions you get in Alexius’ Duality Hacks of the Enlightenment of that which is One and its glimpses are not absolute. Besides, you have not read them, but your brain’s translation. Furthermore, you may have layered your interpretation of that on top of it.***

The night can be full of restless dreams, that seem very real, until you quietly wake up to the sound of ethereal music, that cancels out the confusion of the night, so that you full of clarity get out bed.

Neither is his experience the same every night. Some nights thoughts or emotions seem to take over and get him into the world of the outward-facing senses. No worries, if that happens to you too. It is a great way to see that thoughts and emotions have no power, and that power is unnecessary when there is no need to be someone.

ANYTHING INTERPRETED AS SPECIFIC ENDS THE TOUR OF THE INWARD-FACING SENSES
You cannot do something to be in the world of the inward-facing senses because achieving something only works in a tangible world. But for the very same reason, you can do something to not experience the world of the outward-facing senses – for example, putting on a sleeping mask.

Best to forget all the descriptions from Alexius’ Duality Hacks about the glimpses of enlightenmen. You may interpret them as something specific, and that cannot be replicated in the world of the inward-facing senses.

Suppose you remember the last time you travelled in incredible worlds of lucid light, and you want more like that. In that case, you will not get i. Defining glimpses of Enlightenment in this way turns them into an experience of the outward-facing senses. Only there does it seem possible to experience something specifically more than once. In other words, if interpreting the glimpses of the Enlightenment in the way you do in the world of the outward-facing senses, there are no more glimpses to experience.

When you completely turn off the outward-facing senses or are willing to do so, you bid welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One. No image can be shown of that because it cannot be experienced since that requires more than one. However, glimpses of Enlightenment can be experienced. One of the last glimpses you may have before they fuse into the Enlightenment of that which is One could look like a horse head. A black hole sometimes looks like just before there is nothing but the most intense light. Nobody knows if it blasts out of the hole or into it because the light is so blinding that you cease to exist as someone definitive. That is why nothing is sucked into the black hole, that is not there anymore, just a gentle void transporting nobody into the formlessness of oneness. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

TO TURN OFF THE OUTWARD-FACING SENSES PARTIALLY OR TOTALLY
The easiest way to switch between the outward and inward-facing senses is, of course, to let the empty breath take care of it – see Notes on the empty breath – but until you are willing to choose, not to choose but to be guided by the empty breath the below suggestion can be of help.

You turn off the outward-facing senses by not excluding unwanted thoughts and feelings but including them. Therefore, since there is no contrast to define a tangible world, you are in the abstractness of the inward-facing senses. If the inclusion is partial, you have glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One, and if it is completed, there is not someone to hide the Enlightenment of that which is One.

Do not pay too much attention to the world of the outward-facing senses, when in the world of the inward-facing senses. And when moving in the world of the outward-facing senses, it is often best hardly to pay attention to to the inward-facing senses, except the memory of their  bliss. That helps you to involve yourself in the world of the outward-facing senses without being of it.

There are no rules though, so there can be times where the two worlds seem to mix in a beneficial way, but why not fully enjoy the taste of wine on the premises of the world of the outward-facing senses, and totally space out when you fly through amazing worlds of abstract light in the world of the inward-facing senses.

In other words, when you are solely in the world of the inward-facing senses, the belief in being someone in a world defined by time and space is undone by the Enlightenment of that which is One. This does not mean you are transformed into that which is one. Instead, it means the awareness of being someone is gone because it takes more than one to be conscious of something. Thus there does not appear to be something hiding, there is no more than that which always was and will be, namely that which is One since it is formless, thus endless.

APPENDIX
If you get the impression from reading Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings that the inward-facing senses are less deceptive than the outer ones, you have chosen to be deceived into believing that you can become better, higher or wiser by looking inside. If that is your purpose, they will cause you as much suffering as the outer ones.

But if your purpose is to become nobody, so that there is not somebody to hide the formlessness of that which is you, the inward-facing senses will speed up the undoing of the belief in being someone specific.


*) Alexius does not know if the Sleep Mask and Ear Protection Ear Plugs that he uses when going to sleep are the best for turning off the outward-facing senses and going into the world of the inner ones, but they seem to work for him.

What sort of external music resembles the internal harmonies

If you are used to the ethereal music that the inward-facing senses reveal when the outward ones are partly turned off, memories of these harmonies can be triggered when listening to external music from artists like Charalambides. Maybe Mozart got inspired to compose music by listening to the ethereal harmonies inside him. This is not to say that his music sounds precisely like inner music. But the flow in his music resembles the effortless elegance and beauty of ethereal harmonies arising from inside when the outward-facing senses are more or less ignored. However, this does not apply when Mozart neglects the natural flow to reach a peak. There is no drama in ethereal harmonies because they accompany one perpetual present, which has no beginning and end, thus no drama.

Bells and similar sounds that do not add to something specific resemble inner ethereal music. But not in the monotonic way of the bells in the churches because ethereal music is non-structured harmonies.

The organic way contemporary electronic music moves without going nowhere has much resemblance to the ethereal harmonies. However, contemporary electronic music is about producing ambient textures that seem without beginning or end. It uses glitches, other sonic artefacts, slowed-played steel guitar, analogue or synth sounds mixed with piano loops, chimes and bells to accomplish this. However, these effects result in a harder edge and a less transparent sound than the inner music, which has a crystal clear but transparent sound with no sonic artefacts needed to produce the spiciness. Actually, it arises from not trying to achieve anything.

But new-age music that sounds like dreamy symphonies of otherworldly states – Karunesh and Marsen Jules, for example – does not resemble ethereal harmonies but the new-age fantasy of a merry-go-round world, where everything is good. This is a childish dream because goodness can only be experienced when contrasted with evil. See hack #4.4 The duality flow goes to non-duality.

Ethereal music is not symphonic or anything else that suggests a progression in linear time. And it is not otherworldly because it echoes that which is One, and there is nothing but oneness since it is formless, thus endless. But in a world where there seems to be more than one, oneness cannot be comprehended. Thus the random sounds of ethereal music united in one perpetual present are most likely remembered as they fit together like a symphony moving forward in time.

Instead, he goes with the music of the outward-facing senses. But he does not do it to drown out the inward-facing senses. Experiencing the world of the outward-facing senses, Alexius does not listen to music resembling the inner harmonies. Instead, he adjusts to the world of the outward-facing senses and its music. He likes Editors and Philip Glass. And he loves Boleros from the 50s, especially Lucho Gatica. He also likes the Danish singer Bjørn Fjæstad. And guitar virtuosos, such as Dean McPhee and Derek Gripper. The latter is a classical guitarist from Cape Town, specialising in the kora music of Mali. Alexius cannot stop listening to Beth Gibbons, especially in Górecki – Symphony No. 3. Recently he discovered Adrianne Lenker.

Where do Alexius’ Duality Hacks come from

Since Alexius hardly has read any scriptures or so-called spiritual books, Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings are not based on an existing religion or philosophy, nor are they meant to be a new religion or philosophy but to undo the belief in such concepts as well as anything else. Hack #1-4 and #7 (see Alexius’ Duality Hacks) are deduced from Alexius’ ways of appearing as someone in a world where there seems to be more than one. The way to connect with the empty breath is deduced from his connection with it. Alexius did not initially connect with it, as he advises in his non-teachings. Instead, the empty breath was given to him. Maybe so he could deduce a way for you to connect with it.

The way to hear or feel the vibration that Aum, Sohang, and The Word of God symbolise, as described in the previous article The four aspects of Enlightenment and how to sample them and especially in Life has no secrets, is deduced from Alexius’ experience of hearing and feeling it. He started to hear and feel this echo of oneness in his youth. However, it was not by Aum or Sohang but by devotion.

Still, it was not until much later he realised that hearing or feeling this echo of oneness is what those who constantly chant Aum or Sohang are looking for but never find because they expect something extraordinary. Yet having recognised it himself, it was not a problem to deduce a fast way of hearing or feeling the unpronounceable vibration that Aum or Sohang symbolises.

The ways to have glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One in the form of light, music and nectar as described in the previous article The four aspects of Enlightenment and how to sample them, Alexius heard about it in his youth. But most likely, the speaker only had second-hand knowledge of it because he mainly referred to ancient scriptures and not personal experiences.

A guru, which means a teacher, is always deeply founded in the belief of being someone special in a world, where there seems to be more than one, because it requires more than one to teach somebody. In other words, a guru is no different from anybody else profiting on the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one.

Guru is a Hindi word for teacher, and as such, it is deeply founded in the belief of being in a world where there seems to be more than one because it requires more than one to teach something. In other words, a guru is no different from anybody else, profiting from the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is One. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Anyhow Alexius soon had so many visions of light that he forgot to differentiate them. Thus he quickly bid welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One (see hack #6.1 The Enlightenment of that which is One). But he cannot offer a technique for this other than forgetting what and where you appear to be, so there is nothing definable to block it out. But since it takes more than one to share something, the Enlightenment of that which is On cannot be communicated. On the other hand, glimpses of it are experienced by somebody, so they can be shared. And since Alexius experience them continually, his guidance about them is not based on second-hand knowledge. Consequently, they may not be similar to what you hear from those interpreting old scriptures because, without the Enlightened of that which is One, you are bound to misinterpret them.

As most seem to think Enlightenment is something you achieve, where after you are an Enlightened, amazing person, it may be best to spell out that the Enlightenment of that which is One cannot be achieved by anybody because to bid it welcome, you must be nobody. In other words, Alexius has not been Enlightened but momentarily stepped aside so that there was nothing but light sucking him into the formlessness of oneness through a black hole. That is why he is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One.

Most gurus do not talk about the Enlightenment of that which is One, but glimpses of it that they  experience while remaining conscious of being someone definitive. They often consider such experiences to come from the pineal gland. But the Enlightenment of that which is One, does not come from anywhere. That is why you must forget what and where you are to bid it welcome.

Unfortunately, this does not apply to most others talking about Enlightenment. What they say about it is not geared toward bidding it welcome but fending it off so they can become unique in the eyes of the world. This worldly purpose they hide behind vague and mysterious stories about a better world, coming from the heart and whatnot.

The old-school gurus may speak hazily about kundalini, which is supposed to make a fusion between body and spirit so that you become full of bliss and wisdom. Newer gurus have speculative teachings about living in the now, realising the self or a higher purpose. Both approaches appeal to those who want their feelings of inferiority replaced with feelings of spiritual grandeur, so they seem acknowledged as someone special part of something higher.

Most belief systems are just a shared vocabulary for people feeling inferior, so they can hide their misery by sharing this vocabulary with like-minded ones. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

But it requires more than one to merge with something, be full of light, live in the now, and realise the self. In other words, it is an experience geared toward a world where there seems to be more than one and has nothing to do with that which is One.

Any experience in a world where there seems to be more than one can turn into that which is One, provided you do not try to hold onto the experience as something specific. It is only possible when you believe to be someone definitive there is no room for anything definitive in the formlessness of oneness

The same applies to seeing, hearing, feeling or tasting glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One. That is why Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings distinguish between the Enlightenment of that which is One and glimpses of it. The latter is, as already said, an experience or a state of being, thus part of a world where there seems to be more than one. But the Enlightenment of that which is One is not an experience, nor any being, because it takes more than one to experience or be something. In other words, it is not part of a world where there seems to be more than one. On the contrary, it erases all memories of this fantasy.

All ways lead to Rome, they say, but they forget to say that they also lead away from it. So do not count on the ways suggested by the gurus promising a hypothetical better life in the future, because only a world where there seems to be more than one has a future. And as reality is one perpetual present, it has neither an end or a future, wherfore anything with a future is an illusion.

For those teaching about kundalini, freedom in the now, higher self and sunshine without rain, it does not seem to be a problem that no one ever gets what they promise. On the contrary, because it means their followers keep paying money, giving hugs or whatever the teacher asks for to make both of you feel it is possible to be and have more than that which is One.

Yet, this is not what Alexius’ Duality Hacks are about. They point to the formlessness of oneness – or rather towards that which appears to hide, there never was and never will be more than that which is One.

The four aspects of Enlightenment and how to sample them [draft]

The echo of that which is one, which often is symbolised by the words Aum, Sohang or The Word of God and which comes from the edge of the universe can be heard or felt right now via the inner senses, because they are not limited by time and space.

The echo of that which is One is often symbolised by the words Aum, Sohang or The Word of God. It comes from the edge of the universe, but since the inward-facing senses are not limited by time and space, using them, it takes no time to go there to hear or feel the echo of oneness coming out of a black hole. See Going back to the first moment of duality.

None of the facets of the Enlightenment of that which is One can be experienced because it requires more than one to be aware of something. Thus when you hear, feel, see or taste it, you do not experience the Enlightenment of that which is One but glimpses of it. This article is about how to experience these glimpses with the inward-facing senses while still in the world of the outward-facing senses. Remember that as a movie trailer is not the movie, the glimpses are not the Enlightenment of that which is One

And be aware that the ways described below to have glimpses of Enlightenment will not work if you look forward to being or having more, as their function is to undo the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one. This does not mean you must restrain yourself from getting more but not care about it.

HEARING OR FEELING THE ECHO OF ONENESS
As already implied, oneness cannot be revealed because that calls for more than one. However, when you hear or feel it echoed from the edge of the universe, the belief in being and having more than One is, eventually, undone. Hereafter, it does not appear to hide there never was or will be more than that which is one.

In other words, the more you ignore the world defined by time and space, produced by the outward-facing senses, the more a world not limited by time and space is experienced by the inward-facing senses. Without time and space, it takes no time to go to the edge of the universe (read more about that here), where the echo of oneness has been used to create a fantasy world of time and space which seems genuine until you hear or feel this primordial vibration, often symbolised by Aum, Sohang or The Word of God.

»With every exhalation the soul recites ‘Hang’ and with every inhalation it recites ‘So’. Thus every soul counts the mantra of Sohang (So plus Hang) twenty-one thousand and six-hundred times every day and night.« Gherand Samhita, stanza 84.

In Eastern religions the echo of oneness is symbolised by the word ‘Aum’ or ‘Sohang’ and in the New Testament by ‘The Word of God’: »In the origin The Word had been existing and That Word had been existing with God and That Word was himself God.« John 1:1, Aramaic Bible in Plain English.

One who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One perceives ‘The Word’ in the above quote as a metaphor for the unpronounceable vibration you hear or feel when not being totally focused on the world of the outward-facing senses. The unenlightened, however, speculates about what exact words this is hinting at, even though there is not a single verse in the Bible referring to ´The Word of God´, as if it is written or can be spoken.

The vibration that AUM or Sohang symbolizes comes from the edge of the universe, which is only far away if you let yourself be deceived by a world defined by linear time as experienced through the outer senses.

Glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One are echoes of oneness coming out of a black hole at the edge of the universe. However, this is not far away when you ignore the outward-facing senses and their world defined by time and space and go with the inward-facing ones instead because they are not ruled by time and space. Thus you can see, hear, feel or taste the echo of oneness regardless of where you appear to be in the world of the outward-facing senses.

A way to ignore the outward-facing senses so you can hear or feel the echo of oneness with the inward-facing senses is not to be exclusive but inclusive. When you include all that you hear or feel completely unedited – or are willing to – the sum of everything in the world of the outward-facing senses is heard by the inward-facing senses. It sounds or feels like a humming of nothing and everything simultaneously. And it feels like you are both in the world of the outer and inward-facing senses.

THE THIRD EYE
Seeing glimpses of oneness is done via the inward-facing sense called the third eye, a single ‘eye’ in the middle of the two eyes above the two eyebrows.

»The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.« Matt 6:22, King James Bible. This makes much sense to one who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One but obviously not to the unenlightened, because in the new international version of the New Testament this sentence has been changed to: »The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light.«

How this is meaningful to the unenlightened, Alexius does not know. But he knows it makes no sense to one who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One.

When you for whatever reason – maybe due to being very desperate, drunk or tired – are unable to focus, the Enlightenment of that which is One is bid welcome. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The enlightenment of that which is One is bid welcome by completely ignoring the outward-facing senses. First time this happened for Alexius was when he returned home totally exhausted after a long nights work of taxi driving and simply was too tired to focus.

In other words, to be offbeat, exhausted, confused or maybe even drunk is a way to forget the outward-facing senses, so that there is no world to see and therefore nothing to hide the Enlightenment of that which is One. In fact anything that is not part of a scheme to fabricate images defined by time and space will do.

If that includes drugs Alexius does not know, because he has not experienced them. Yet he can say from looking at others taking drugs, that it seems to be more about expanding the consciousness of a world where there seems to be more than one than undoing it.

»Direct your eyes toward the middle of the eyebrows and meditate upon your own self. It is Shambhavi Mudra, the most secret practice of all the Tantra scriptures.« Gherand Samhita, stanza 59.

Practically speaking you can turn off the visual outward-facing sense and open the third eye by closing the eyes and lightly, without any concentration, hold a finger on the third eye. You can do it anywhere in any position. However, it is best to do in a dark room, so you do not think the revelation of light comes from the world of the outward-facing senses.

If something like this is dechiffered into different colors and forms, you will have glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one, but if you do not judge any colors or forms to be different from each other the apparent differences will explode into one bright light.

If having a vision like this and it is deciphered into an experience of different colours and shapes around a centre, it is a glimpse of ‘the Enlightenment of that which is One.’ If you on the other hand do not judge the apparent different colours and forms to make a difference or to come from somewhere specific, one bright and colourless light, that seems to explode from out of nowhere wipes out all thoughts collected to form you into someone definitive, so nobody gracefully falls into the formlessness of oneness.

Since the eyes always looks for the greatest contrast of light, your closed eyes automatically search the darkness until they move inwards and upwards towards the third eye from where they settle at a light show exposed at such a speed that the apparent contrast between the splashes of colours hardly can be perceived.

»Touching eyeballs as a feather, lightness between them opens into the heart and there permeates the cosmos.« Sochanda Tantra, stanza 13.

If your eyes do not automatically move inwards and upwards into the area of the inward-facing senses above the eyebrows, you may help them by gently pressing the thumb and middle finger on the outer corner of the eyeballs, while having the middle finger on the third eye.

However, this is not really commendable, since even the slightest effort requires focus, and it is not focus but defocus that bids welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One or glimpses of it. Furthermore this may give you the impression that certain physical postures can open the third eye.

None of the inward-facing senses are reached via a specific posture or way of thinking. But deactivating the outward-facing senses can be achieved in this way, so if you find a specific technique that seems helpful regarding this by all means go for it. However, the fastest way to deactivate the outward-facing senses is to not know what and where you are.

A way to to deactivate the outward-facing senses is to use an eye massager with infrared heat fusion technology, such as Breo iSee4 Eye Massager. Besides from turning off the outward-facing sense of seeing, the heat soften the eyes. And when they are relaxed, they do not focus. Hence they automatatically turn inwards and upwards to merge with the third eye.

»… and there shall be no light there, and they need no candle there, neither the light of the sun, for the Lord God giveth them light.« Rev. 22:5

The thought construction that seems to keep you together as someone tangible is left at the edge of a black hole.

When your eyes are so soft that they do not focus, there is nothing to prevent glimpses of Enlightenment to merge into one bright white light, namely the Enlightenment of that which is One. It extracts all thoughts, that you have stored to appear as someone definitive, and leave them at the edge of what may look like a black hole, so there is nobody to experience the nothingness of you gracefully falling into the formlessness of oneness.

Enlightenment is not an out-of-the-body experience as it is not an experience, but its preliminary stage of bliss and compassion, which is connected to the world via the pineal gland, is an experience that is often perceived to be out-of-the-body.

Enlightenment of that which is one is not an out-of-body experience. It is not an experience at all. But its preliminary stages of bliss and compassion, which in the world may to be connected with the pineal gland, is something that may be felt as an out-of-body experience.

Most, however, are afraid of loosing their identity, so they settle for glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One, which is like a blissful out-of-body experience – presumably linked to the pineal gland. It appears to foster states like that.

If you are not tempted to stop at this state of bliss, but to go where someone definitive cannot go, namely into the Enlightenment of that which i One, it is not an out-of-body experience. On the contrary, there is no experience at all, nor consciousness, because to be awate of something requires more than one.

If you want to leave the Enlightenment of that which is One and be reshaped as someone definitive, you must pick up the thoughts, that was left at the edge of a black hole so you could enter it as nobody.

Returning from the Enlightenment of that which is One to a world where there seems to be more than one, you cannot know, you have been at the other side of a black hole, because you were not there and there is no other side, since there is no more than that which is one. In other words, the person you appear to be is not Enlightened. Yet, due to vague memories of that which is one, you are to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One.

It is not possible though for somebody else to know, this. You will hardly grasp it yourself. But for sure you grasp, that a world where there seems to be more than one is not real.

When you thoroughly enjoy the music of the outward-facing, it reminds you of the airy music you can experience with the inward-facing senses. It is full of ethereal harmonies floating out of a black hole at the edge of the universe.

»I heard a sound from heaven like the sound of cascading waters and like the rumbling of loud thunder. The sound I heard was also like harpists playing on their harps.« Revelation 14:2, Holman Christian Standard Bible.

Being used to take a ride in the world of the inward-facing senses, that opens up when the outward-facing senses are not fully used to experience a world defined by time and space, you sense the first sentence of this quote refers to ‘Aum’ or ‘Sohang’ or ‘The Word of God,’ and that the second one to ethereal music.

»At midnight when not a single sound is heard, close your ears with both hands and do Purak Pranayama. Listen to the sounds in your right ear which are very pleasant. The first sound that you will hear is of a pine bird, the second of a flute, third of a cloud, fourth of a dragon bee, the fifth of a ringing bell and then of a gong of metal. Sounds of trumpet, drum etc. are also heard.

Except for having scim read The New Testament and Bhagavad Gita Alexius have not read religious scripts. Therefore, most of the words in the quote from Gherand Samhita are meaningless to him. But since he hears inner music himself, it is easy to pick the essence of the quote, the bliss of listening to ethereal harmonies.

Besides these, many other sounds are heard if it is practiced daily. These sounds are Anahata (unproduced) and come on their own accord. Nada is related to light. Light is related to mind, so mind gets itself merged in a sound which is the seat of the Lord. Therefore, practice of Bhramari gives Siddhi of Samadhi (i.e., makes Samadhi possible).

Mind gets eightfold more pleasure in the act of meditation than Japa (repeating God’s name), eightfold more interest in Tapas (penance) than the meditation, and eightfold more interest in music or sound than the Tapas. There is nothing greater than music.« Gherand Samhita, stanzas 77-81. Besides for the word ´Nada´ meaning music Alexius does not know the meaning of all the Hindi words in this quote, but hearing inner music himself – though not so bombastic as described in this quote – he gets the overall meaning of it.

Using noise-cancelling headphones is a great way to close off the outward-facing sense of hearing. Alexius prefers in-ear headphones, though, as they can also be used when going to bed.

A practical way to stop hearing the world of the outward-fencing senses and start listening to the music of the inward-fencing senses is to put both thumbs in your ears. But you can also use noise-cancelling headphones or in-ear headphones. Then without focusing or trying to define anything, be nothing but the ethereal music coming to you from what may seem far away.

For tuning in, it is best not to go with the vibrations from the left ear. They often are the sounds of a busy mind. So instead, follow the harmonies that appear to come from an empty space a bit outside of the right ear. That said, do not pay too much attention to directions.

Maybe you will not hear ethereal harmonies immediately but the humming symbolised by ‘Aum’ or ‘Sohang’ or ‘The Word of God.’ If so, go with this glimpse of the Enlightenment of that which is One. It could also be that you ‘hear’ thoughts. But they will not disturb you from hearing eternal harmonies if that is what you want – nor from having visions of light, infinite sweetness or sublime intimacy.

Tasting the sweetness of oneness helps you not to focus on the world of the outward-facing senses. Thus glimpses of Enlightenment coming from the world of the inward-facing senses become the foundation for perceiving the world of the outward-facing senses. Since this, eventually, results in not perceiving the apparent differences to make a difference, there is no separation to hide that which is one. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

THE TASTE OF ONENESS
Tasting the most exquisite food, one is reminded about the taste of oneness, if not entirely in the world of the outward-facing senses. It can be compared to the transparent taste of the foam in a milkshake with a few drops of honey and maybe with a hint of either liquorice, strawberry, or mint. It can also be compared to how marshmallows – especially those with a flavour of strawberries – interact with the palate.

Some Chinese Herb Formulations or teas – for example Spring Dragon Longevity Tea – enhance the taste of oneness, provided you already are in touch with it. The same applies to the Ayurvedic teas, that Alexius have tasted and most teas including liquorice.

But it is best not to compare the taste of oneness or other glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One to anything else, as all comparisons are based on definitions from the past and, therefore, cancel out the ever-present glimpses of Enlightenment.

»Your lips drip nectar, my bride, honey and milk are under your tongue.« Song of Solomon 4:11.

»A land flowing with milk and honey« Exodus 3:8

»Whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never be thirsty, but the water that I shall give him shall be in him as a well of water springing up into everlasting life.« John 4:10-4:14.

Even though this taste is called the nectar of life in some scriptures, you should not expect it to make you younger or inject you with more energy in the world of the outward-facing senses. Getting more is an illusion based on the belief that there is more than that which is One.

One way of undoing this belief is not to focus because without it, the apparent differences in a world where there seems to be more than one become blurred. Thus different appearances do not seem to hide, there is no more than the formlessness of that which is one. Fortunately, the side-effect of the technique for the taste of oneness is defocusing.

The inner sense of taste not only stops the compulsive focusing on forms but also your cravings for sweets and to experience  something definable. The taste of life is always there and it is free. Neither do you have to meditate or be pure to consume it. All you have to do is to put your tongue behind the uvula. And if you cannot do that, it is also OK, because doing so is just meant to help you deactivating the outer senses and the only thing that really accomplish that, is the intention to do it. Just like even you are at a springboard, you will not dive from it, if that is not your intention of going there.

The inward fasing sense of taste does not only diminish the compulsive focusing on something definitive but also your cravings for more, for example sweets. The taste of oneness is always there. It is free, and you do not have to meditate or be pure to have it. All you have to do is to put your tongue behind the uvula and devote yourself to the taste of oneness. If you cannot get your tongue there, it is not a problem. Doing so is meant to help you deactivating the outward-facing senses and the only thing that really accomplish this, is the intention of doing it. In other words, reaching the uvula with your tongue is good enough. Actually, when you hold the underneath of your tongue on the soft area beneath the uvula you feel the empty breath (see What does ‘the empty breath’ feel like?) and get the sweet taste of oneness. This is not a metaphor, nor second-hand knowledge but Alexius’ experience from tasting the subleness of oneness on both sides of the uvula. As a result of this technique, the empty breath is activated. It expands the breathing, which makes the the body feel glorious. And the soft taste of oneness prevents you from focusing on the world of the outward-facing senses. Thus you feel absorded by the happiness of abstractness.

The taste of oneness unfolds under the tongue, when it is moved behind the uvula (the skin flap hanging down in the back of the mouth at the entrance to the throat). Placing it there makes you feel like you are not in the world even though you appear to be there. Besides it cutbacks the need to focus on the world of the outward–facing senses and also the longing for more, especially the craving for sweets. That is if you devote yourself to it – no techniques work without devotion. Yet devotion can work without a technique.

To get the tongue behind the uvula you may have to press it backwards for a long time, maybe for months, and finally use a finger to push it the rest of the way. However, this may make you feel as if you are about to vomit. No worries – it is just a feeling. When you are used to keeping your tongue there, it is easy, and there is no sense of vomiting.

»Khechari Mudra is turning the tongue backwards into the cavity of the cranium and turning the eyes inwards toward the eyebrow center.« Haha-Yoga Pradipika, Chapter 3, stanzas 32-37.

To taste the sweetness of oneness, called Khechari Mudray in the above quote, you do not have to literally replicate the ancient technique. Neither do you have to push the tongue behind the uvula as Alexius wrote above. Reaching the soft area underneath the front of the uvula with the backside of the tongue will do. THERE IS NO WAY TO THE ENLIGHTENMENT OF THAT WHICH IS ONE BUT A LOT TO GLIMPSES OF IT
The
way to bid welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One or glimpses of its four facets is not to be pure. Neither is it about how you breathe, eat or anything else you appear to do in the world of the outward-facing senses. Still, things like that may be helpful in deactivating the outward-facing senses.

But no technique can do that if it is not the intention of executing it. In other words, the first step is solely about purpose. If that is to deactivate the outward-facing senses, many techniques may work. The second step is to devote yourself to the lucid journey in the world of the inward-facing senses.

These steps only apply to having glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One and not to welcome in its entirety, as it takes more than one to take any step.

The part of the world of the outer senses you want to experience is not meant to be blurry but in focus, so what you see is definable. It is the other way around with the world of the inner senses,. In other words, the two worlds does in most cases not work well together. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The part of the world of the outward-facing senses you want to experience is not supposed to be blurry. It must be in focus to make the experience is definable. It is the other way around in the world of the inward-facing senses. Your experiences there are abstract. Hence mixing the two worlds does not work out.

DAILY LIFE WITH GLIMPSES OF THE ENLIGHTENMENT OF THAT WHICH IS ONE
It is probably best not to be active in the world of the outward-facing senses while having visions of light. This is because the visual glimpses of Enlightenment can become so intense that the world of the outward-facing senses is hardly sensed.

However, the technique for tasting the sweetness of oneness can be carried out while being active in the world of the outward-facing senses. The same applies to enjoying the ethereal harmonies if you hear them without putting your thumbs in the ears. And it also applies to hearing or feeling the vibration that Aum, Sohang and The Word of God symbolise. See Life has no secrets.

This may result in the experience of a world that seems less defined. Not to the extent, though, that you cannot move around but that you feel you are carried around.

That is, as long as you do not take the full tour of these glimpses because it ends in the formlessness of oneness, thus no longer appearing as someone in a world where there seems to be more than one, nor in oneness since that requires more than one. You are not someone at all, so there is no memory or consciousness of ever having believed to be that. Instead, there is what always has been and will be, namely that which is one.

The Hebrew word Elohim was originally a symbol for one perpetual present.

The word god, which is a translation of the Hebrew word Elohim, was at first meant to be a metaphor for that which is one and never ends. Hence the word god was originally a symbol for one perpetual present. As this is not understandable, when you believe to be in a world of linear time, the meaning of the word gradually was changed, so that god became a symbol for one almighty force believed to have created the world defined by time and space in its own image.

But what is not definable cannot create something definable. Hence a world defined by time and space is an illusion and so is the perceived creator of such a world.

APPENDIX ABOUT THE QUOTES
The terminology of yoga and so-called holy scriptures – apart from The New Testament and Bhagavad Gita – is unknown to Alexius. Thus he does not know the scriptures quoted in this article. He found the quotes by searching the internet.

When everything is included, there does not appear to be something outside you. Consequently, nor inside, as that requires there is something outside you. Hence there is nothing but the formlessness of oneness.

Alexius does not sympathise with Eastern or Western religions or new age philosophy. Generally, they exclude what they judged as wrong by projecting it onto non-believers to make them tainted and themselves pure. Yoga, for example, is often based on meditation, where you must exclude something deemed evil to become one. But oneness is formless, thus endless, so you can neither add nor subtract from it. If you try to do that, you enhance the belief that there is more than that which is One.

It takes more than one to have a vision, so no matter how impressive it may be, it is not the Enlightenment of that which is One but glimpses of it. It is comparable to a movie trailer, a sample of the whole, thus not undivided. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The world of the outward-facing senses is experienced via seeing, hearing, feeling and tasting/smelling something that seems physical. The world of the inward-facing senses can also be seen, heard, felt and tasted. However, you do not get a sense of something tangible but abstract. It is also here that you bid welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One.

It comes through a hole that sometimes seems black. See the article The ins and outs of a black hole. But following the light into it is the end of both the outward and inward-facing senses. Hence the experience of something is over. Therefore, if you are aware of something, you are not in the Enlightenment of that which is One but outside, having glimpses of it via the inward-facing senses.

If you for a moment forget what and where you are you are, a world where there seems to be more than one does not seem to hide the enlightenment of that which is One.

You get inside the Enlightenment of that which is One when the glimpses of it are not perceived to differ because then is no separation to define you as someone definitive. Hence there is not somebody to fight the construction of thoughts that have replaced the formlessness of oneness with someone definitive is extracted by an exceptionally bright white light. Nor is there anybody to be aware of that everything you ever believed to be and have is gone. Consequently, there is nothing to gracefully fall through the hole that is no more because there is no experience to hide the formlessness of oneness.

Therefore, since what you believe in being has not been Enlightened, you appear to be the same if returning to the experience of being someone definitive. However, you do not believe this experience is real due to vague memories of formlessness. Hence you are to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One.


Since the Enlightenment of that which is One has no beginning and end, someone definitive cannot experience it. But glimpses of it – for example travelling through lucid worlds of light – have a beginning and an end, so they can be experienced by someone definitive. This is done through the inward-facing senses, when the outward ones are toned down.

The outward and inward-facing senses
The outward-facing senses are geared to experience a world perceived as outside you, thus separated from you, whereas the inward-facing senses help you experience a world that does not seem to be separated from you. But it does not mean this world is inside you. There is neither anything inside nor outside of you, as that requires more than one, and there is no more than that which is one.

It is the same within the context of a world where there seems to be more than one, because, scientifically speaking, it consists of empty space. Therefore, what you experience is make-believe – also reading reads that it may be easier to undone this deception by turning down the volume of the outward-facing senses, and turning up the volume of the inner ones.

If you seem to see an E here, you are using the E, you have made in your mind, to hide all the empty space.

If you believe in seeing an ‘E’ here, you focus on seeing something recognisable to twist empty space into something. The empty space is not the formlessness of oneness, but when you do not imagine it is a world defined by time and space, no substantial elements seem to hide the formlessness of oneness. PARTIAL DEVOTION TO THE INWARD-FACING SENSES RESULTS IN GLIMPSES OF ENLIGHTENMENT
If you do not constantly focus on something specific, the outward-facing senses cannot fabricate the experiences of a world defined by time and space. Therefore, the more you defocus, the more the definable world of the outward-facing senses is complemented by the abstract world of the inward-facing senses. Thus you get glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One. You see light shows if you are visual-minded, hear ethereal music if you are auditory-minded, and taste or feel it if you are emotional-minded.

The purpose of the inward-facing senses is to draw you into their abstract world, thus undoing the belief of being someone definitive – like a moth cannot help but follow its attraction to the flame, even though it is going to be the end of it.

Mixing something is based on the belief in separation, so do not try to mix glimpses of light with glimpses of ethereal music, for example. Just welcome the glimpse of the Enlightenment of that which is One that seems to come your way. But do not try to hang onto a glimpse or to have it repeated. If it changes into another aspect of the Enlightenment of that which is One, go with that.

These glimpses, as already noted, are not the Enlightenment of that which is One because it has no room for someone being conscious of something since that requires more than one. This does not mean what you believe in being is transformed by the Enlightenment of that which is One into oneness. Instead, it is dismissed as an illusion.

Practically speaking, it might be best to downplay the visual glimpses of Enlightenment in daily life. It is because you will have a hard time navigating the world of the outward-facing senses while having visions of light. But in most cases, you can safely go with glimpses of hearing, feeling or tasting hearing, feeling or tasting the Enlightenment of that which is One.

THE INWARD-FACING SENSES AND THE BODY
Devotion to the inward-facing senses will heal your body because it will give the body the peace it needs to heal itself. This may not include genetically caused diseases, though. However, due to the tranquillity the inward-facing senses entail, a genetically created condition does not generate fear. Thus it is easier to deal with (see hack #4.3 The toxic mix of physical and non-physical issues).

But suppose the body’s wellbeing is the purpose of devoting yourself to the inward-facing senses. In that case, you cannot be attentive to the world of the inward-facing senses since that requires having no specific focus, so the world of the inward-facing senses fades out without you even noticing it. Thus the body is not being nurtured by it.

TOTAL DEVOTION TO THE INWARD-FACING SENSES BIDS WELCOME THE ENLIGHTENMENT OF THAT WHICH IS ONE
Complete devotion to the inward-facing senses welcomes the Enlightenment of that which is One, which immediately erases all memories of you being someone definitive. As you are not there anymore and never were, there is nobody to know how long time this takes. Besides, the Enlightenment of that which is One is not a process but one perpetual present.

But at first, it may seem to be a process, and as long as that is the case, the brain that produced your experiences as someone definitive is not finished. Thus it can be rebooted and recreate the experience of you as someone definitive. But since it takes more than one to be anything, the reestablished experience cannot contain the Enlightenment of that which is One. So although you are to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One, you look like you used to. The only difference is that you know it is not you.

However, as soon as the Enlightenment of that which is One does not seem to be a process, the brain cannot be rebooted and, therefore, not produce the experience of you as a substantial being in a tangible world. Hence there is nothing to hide that which always has been and always will be that which is you, namely the formlessness of oneness. There is, of course, nobody to be aware of this since it takes more than one to be conscious of something.

IS THE ENLIGHTENMENT OF THAT WHICH IS ONE REQUIRED TO UNDO THE BELIEF IN BEING SOMEONE?
The Enlightenment of that which is One can be said to be the last step back to the formlessness of oneness. Still, as formlessness is endless, you have never left it. Thus it is not about going back but realise how you hide the formlessness of oneness, namely by believing you are someone definitive.

As already mentioned, the Enlightenment of that which is One does that in a split second. But it can also be achieved while enjoying the world of the outward-facing senses. In the below box, there are some suggestions on how to do this:

The more you perceive the apparent differences in the world of the outward-facing senses to not make a difference, the more the outward-facing senses function as a set-off to that which is One (hack #3.1 Inclusiveness is freedom).

The same applies to pretending to be someone definitive (hack #1.3 Pretending to be someone definitive is liberation or seeing symbols of life in the world (hack #2.1 Everything experienced is a symbol of oneness).

And it also applies to being alone together, which does not mean that you are together with one or more who also are alone, but that you are alone together with your fantasy of a world where there seems to be more than one, no matter how many there seem to be around you (hack #7.1 Alone together, we go home).

The empty breath (HACK #5, A state of not-knowing is nothing but bliss) syncs the outward-facing senses with the inward-facing ones, so you over time are able to devote yourself so much to the glimpses of Enlightenment that they do not seem separated, wherefore the Enlightenment of that which is One sets in.

You do not even need Alexius’ Duality Hacks to have the belief in being someone undone. All that is necessary is not to remember what and where you are because then there is no belief in being someone definitive that appears to hide the formlessness of oneness.


There is no experience of love without the experience of hate, because you cannot know one without the other. Multitasking allows you to experience both emotions simultaneously, and so hate is as blissful as love. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The reason that so many avoid multitasking is that it leaves them no time to suppress anger and other feelings messing up the perfect image of themselves as somebody full of peace, compassion, inner strength and whatnot.

What they do not know, when keeping a specific feeling hidden – hate for example – is that they diminish the experience of its contrasts – in this case love – because you cannot have one without the other. See hack #4.4 The duality flow goes to non-duality.

Least of all do they know that when both sides of a contrast are equally acknowledge, their apparent difference makes no difference. Thus loving somebody is as blissful as to hate them.

Here the world of the inner senses are about to shift to bright white light, which is gonna extract all the info you have collected in order to appear as somebody and leave it at the edge at a black hole so that there is nobody to fall into the nothingness of that which is one. This is not compatible with appearing in a world, where there seems to be more than one, so if that is what you want, you better make sure the info making up your personality is not extracted or you know where to find it again. There is no transition from seeing glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One and getting into it. And since it is one perpetual present, you do not know when it extracts all the info making you appear as someone definitive so that nothing is sucked into a black hole where it gracefully falls into the formlessness of oneness. This is not compatible with appearing as someone definitive in a world defined by time and space, so if that is what you want, you better make sure that the info making up your appearance as someone definitive is not extracted, which you prevent by going with the flow of fear. But it seems possible to imagine there is more than one, and going with the fear that this entails, you seem to leave it and instead be in a world where there seems to be more than one. MULTITASKING THE INWARD AND OUTWARD-FACING SENSES
Much devotion to the world of the inward-facing senses probably makes you spaced out in the world of the outward-facing senses. Yet, if you do not have to be present there, you go with the flow of the inward-facing senses, as if the world outside of you stands still.

But suppose you have to do something demanding in the world of the outward-facing senses. In that case, it is best to only devote yourself to that, so the abstractness of the inward-facing senses does not mess it up.

However, you can also multitask between the inner and outward-facing senses so that being loaded with glimpses of Enlightenment in the world of the inward-facing senses makes you indifferent to the constant demands in the world of the outward-facing senses.

When you multitask the world of the inner and outward-facing senses, thoughts are not considered to be yours. Thus nobody is going anywhere, even though it may appear so.

Multitasking is said to disturb the brain, making it harder for it to focus on something specific. That is why it is beneficial to undo the belief in being someone definitive  – especially the multitasking of the inner and outward-facing senses, which happens all by itself when connected with the empty breath. This is not a new religion or philosophy, that you must learn and strictly adhere to. On the contrary. It is about unlearning everything, so do not try to make sense of what you read.

A perfect moment with glimpses of enlightenment is something you are aware of. If you stop being aware of it, you cannot see any glimpse. There is nothing and that is where the enlightenment of that which is one sets in. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

WHERE DO GLIMPSES OF ENLIGHTENMENT COME FROM
Physically speaking, glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One seem to originate from a non-defined space behind the frequencies of thoughts near the pineal gland. It is probably also from there that you perceive the world when you are in a state of not-knowing.

The same applies when you pretend to be a person or perceive everything in the world as symbols of that which is One. The empty breath – sounding like sohang – is presumably picked up from there as well, physically speaking.

Furthermore, the pineal gland might work as a receiver for signals picked up by the eighth chakra, which has a magenta colour and is located above the head. Maybe the pineal gland or the eighth chakra is involved when experiencing glimpses of Enlightenment. You cannot know because you are blown out of the experience – and afterwards, you do not know where to look. And this is fine because focussing on the pineal will not bring about any of the above. It contracts the energy, so you feel boxed in as someone definitive. On the other hand, defocusing removes restrictions wherefore you do not feel limited to being someone specific.

The after-effect of ‘a state of not-knowing’ [under construction]

The after-effect of a state of not-knowing is a certainty that the thoughts needed for being someone in a world where there seems to be more than one automatically are produced by the brain. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

This article is a continuation of A state of not-knowing and how to get there.

THE AFTER-EFFECT OF A STATE OF NOT-KNOWING:
You need to return from a state of not-knowing to the conscious experience of being somebody after 20 minutes, 45 at most. If not, there is nobody to repeatedly confirm that the experiences fabricated by the brain are something, wherefore they are exposed as nothing. Therefore, since there does not seem to be something keeping the brain together, it falls apart.

That is why you should return relatively quickly from a state of not-knowing to the awareness of being someone if you do not want to end that experience. Since the slate has been wiped clean in a state of not-knowing, you come back to the conscious experience of being someone without the desire to be independent. Hence you are free to follow the brain’s script. See hack #4.2 The brain’s script and how to perceive it to feel happy.

This feels like starting from zero, so you slowly stretch the body. But not in a systemised way with coordinated movement, breathing, and meditation. However, since it looks like Tai Chi or Qigong and most special seekers always hunt for something it can mimic to appear spiritual, they assume they will magically enter a higher state by imitating these slow movements in a focused mode. A state of not-knowing, though, does not arise from focusing but from defocusing. That said, it can also arise from being deeply involved in something, as long as it is not done per a special philosophy or to escape the present.

Returning with the slate wiped clean from a state of not-knowing to the experience of being someone, the relationships you used to stand behind may seem dull, as you need to exploit others to appear special (read more about that here).

As long as the after-effect of a state of not-knowing lasts, which can be from a few seconds to several years, you rely on the brain to produce experiences of being someone in a tangible world – just like you depend on it to make the experiences of you as someone in a dream.

Going along with the experiences as the brain makes them, and not as you think they should be, feels like sleepwalking. It is effortless unless you break the magic of the after-effect and do things your way, which is very stressful. But fortunately, the stress can be used for a new take-off into the empty breath and the bliss of nothing, from where you again return renewed to the conscious experience of being someone.

Each time you return from a state of not-knowing to the belief in being someone definitive and have forgotten the bliss of not believing in being that, the empty breath remembers it for you – also if you only remember the empty breath once in a while. And like it syncs being nobody with being somebody, so you can move around in nothing as if it is something in a state of not-knowing, it also does that in its after-effect. But of course, the ratio is different.

In a state of not-knowing, there is so little consciousness of being somebody that there is nobody to perceive the apparently different experiences to make a difference. Hence you are in the bliss of nothing. In the after-effect, the empty breath syncs the bliss of nothing with the conscious experience of something, so the nothingness is forgotten when you need to be aware of driving a car, for example. In other words, in a state of not-knowing, you are mainly nobody, and in the after-effect, somebody.

Be aware that there is no will to perceive anything in a particular way in a state of not-knowing. And the transition from a state of not-knowing to the consciousness of being someone is not noticed because there was not somebody to be aware of being nobody in a state of not-knowing. Nor do you not know that the bliss of nothing has wiped the slate clean, so your perceptions automatically are generated in sync with the brain’s script. But suppose the happiness this entails feels too basic compared with the vague memories of bliss that eventually pop up from nowhere. In that case, you may twist the brain’s automatically generated perceptions into something special that seems to extend the memories of bliss. Hence, you appear to be more exciting than a servant of the brain. And since the world wants to be fooled, they do not see that this is a show to hide you feel inferior.

Thoughts and feelings may seem distant in a state of not-knowing, but when you return to the consciousness of being someone definitive, they are very close. However, since they are no longer perceived as something but nothing, you enjoy the intimacy of nothing in whatever shape it appears to take. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

In short, those making their own perception see the brain as their enemy. Thus they reject the happiness the brain infuses into its creations. And when they fail in making something better, they blame the brain. But those not altering the brain’s automatically generated perception of your reactions to its experiences are receptive to the shots of happiness coming from the brain. Hence they happily play the brain’s game of something, although they remember from a state of not-knowing that the game is nothing.

Should you forget that and, therefore, start perceiving the experience of something as real, the frustration this causes can be used to ignite a take-off into the empty breath, so you again have the slate wiped clean and return to the consciousness of being someone synced with the brains fantasy of you as someone substantial in a tangible world.

This does not necessarily mean the slate remains clean. Your conditioned way of reacting to something may be so deeply rooted that you return to a familiar pattern of responding. But, no worries, a quick visit to a state of not-knowing, and you start over again with a clean slate in the brain’s fantasy world of something.

Sooner or later, you feel so entertained by this fantasy that you forget to remember being someone. Thus there does not appear to be something hiding the formlessness of oneness.

APPENDIX:
To be in sync with the script of the brain does not mean you have to like it but that you have to relate to it and not as you think it should be per a particular philosophy. In other words, whether you respond with anger or joy to the brain’s script, you are in a dialogue with the brain, thus feeling its love.

But if you reject the brain’s script by responding to a story believed superior, such as socialism, you are not communicating with the brain but your fable about a better world. Hence you do not feel the brain’s love for you but are always looking for something better.

Having a perception in sync with the brain’s script is very easy. If you do not try to make a perception of your reaction to it, the brain does it automatically. Therefore, since you are in sync, you feel its love.

NOTHING TWISTED INTO SOMETHING
It takes more than one to appear as someone, and there is no more than that which is one since it is formless, thus endless. Thus appearing as someone in a world where there seems to be more than one is a fantasy made from nothing, experienced by nothing.

This is not to say that oneness is nothing. It is that which is One, and it takes more than one to be anything. For the same reason, it is impossible to fantasise about something in oneness. Nevertheless, it seems possible to imagine there is something outside of it. But since oneness is endless, there is nothing outside of it. So even though the brain twists it into something, it is non-existing.

This is probably why science concludes that the world we believe in feeling and seeing consists of 99.9999999 per cent empty space. And the rest – despite also being empty space consisting of nothing substantial – is what we perceive as elements of matter making up a world defined by time and space.

Just like everything else sensed, the empty breath is invisible and colourless until the brain ascribes it to a specific shape and colour. But as the empty breath does not aspire to be something, the brain does not care to twist it into an object. Thus it remains invisible and colourless.

Not knowing what and where you are is the bliss of not believing to be someone

In the connectedness with the empty breath, the apparent difference between the opposing sides of the contrasts making up the experience of duality is cancelled out. Not in the sense that you do not register them anymore, but that you do not perceive them to make a difference. Therefore, since there is no separation to attest to duality, you are in the bliss of not believing to be someone definitive.  Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

THE BLISS OF NOTHING
Though science seems to know that the experience of something is made from nothing, and thus is make-believe, they explore the experiences of something as they are real. However, in Alexius’ Duality Hacks, we expose something as nothing, so there does not seem to be something hiding there never was or will be anything but the formlessness of oneness.

The experiences the brain fabricates of someone substantial in a tangible world only seem real when perceived as something. If not, they are exposed as nothing. To see that, you go back in time to the nothingness the brain twists into your everyday experience of something.

Since the empty breath resides there, and it has taken the brain one second to fabricate your current experience of something, it only takes one second to connect with the empty breath and be in a state of not-knowing, thus the bliss of nothing. This happens via the inward-facing senses. But if the brain is not kept active in a feedback loop, with thoughts that seem to confirm the world of the outward-facing senses as something, it falls into a coma. Thus you cannot be in the bliss of nothing for more than 20 minutes, 45 at most, at a time if you want to return to a world of something. Read more about that here.

Connecting with the empty breath is not about being deeper, purer or balanced. Being something is part of the experience of being someone, and the empty breath is not part of that but the nothingness that this experience is fabricated from.

WHAT AND WHERE ARE THE INWARD AND OUTWARD-FACING SENSES
What you see, hear, feel and taste in the world of the inward-facing senses, and the outward-facing ones are based on the same sensory system. Thus their different names do not mean they differ from each other, physically speaking. Still, they are different ways of experiencing the same frequencies of the nothingness that the brain twists into experiences perceived as proof of being someone.

In the case of the inward-facing senses, the experience of its world is abstract because the brain has not yet processed the frequencies of nothingness to appear as physical elements outside you. Thus it feels as if the world is inside you. But in the world of the outward-facing senses, the brain has processed nothing into something, so you appear as someone definitive in a tangible world outside of you.

However, since it takes more than one to experience something and as there is no more than that which is One, any experience is an illusion, regardless it seems to come from the outward or inward-facing senses.

Consequently, the above distinction between inward and outward-facing senses and a brain receiving something authentic from the sensory system is part of the non-existing brain’s plot to deceive you into believing you are experiencing something where there is nothing.

It takes nobody to know where the inner senses are


The abstract world of the inward-facing senses is experienced when time and space are not entirely considered real. Ultimately speaking, though, these experiences from the inward-facing senses are no more real than those via the outward-facing senses because any experience requires more than one, and there is no more than that which is One since it is formless, thus endless. Therefore, it is only in the context of the belief in more than one that there is someone to experience an abstract world, lightly processed by the brain from the frequencies of nothingness, and a substantial heavily processed by the brain from the same frequencies.

The abstract experiences of the inward-facing senses open up when you do not entirely believe to be someone definitive in the world of the outward-facing senses. Hence there is little left of this belief when you are in the world of the inward-facing senses. Otherwise, there would be nobody to experience the world of the inward-facing senses. In other words, when you appear to be nobody in the world of the inward-facing senses, you have not totally left the belief in being somebody because there must be somebody to register the experiences of nobody. Consequently, the abstractness of nothing you experience in the world of the inward-facing senses is slightly something.

It only takes the brain a split second to twist nothing into an abstract experience in the world of the inward-facing senses. However, since the brain wants you to have a tangible experience in a substantial world, it uses one more second to distort nothing into something experienced as physical via the outward-facing senses.

You may fear the inward-facing senses. But since this fear comes from the belief in being somebody and the empty breath, undoes this belief, there is nothing to fear if you connect with it.

THE FEAR OF THE INWARD-FACING SENSES
You must constantly concentrate and focus on the world of outward-facing senses to make it appear real. It is the other way around in the world of the inward-facing senses. It is experienced when there is no effort to focus or concentrate.

As long as you intend to appear in a world where there seems to be more than one, it is best to multitask between those two worlds, so you can focus when needed in the world of the outward-facing senses and space out in the world of the inner ones when nothing is required of you.

However, you can only do that if you are willing not to always give your full attention to the structured world of the outward-facing senses but sometimes go with the unstructured flow of the inward-facing senses. This may not seem very comforting, but it is the other way around. In the world of the outward-facing senses, we are always afraid of not making it, whereas we have nothing to live up to in the world of the inward-facing senses. But we cannot remain in this abstract world if we want to go on in a world defined by time and space. Fortunately, the empty breath brings us back and forth between the outward and inward-facing senses per our present situation.

Not being someone specific feels as if you are nothing, which seems pretty discomforting until you realise that being empty, you are a vessel for the empty breath, which takes you into the high-frequency world of the inward-facing senses, where glimpses of Enlightenment become the base for experiencing the low-frequency world of the outward-facing senses.

THE EMPTY BREATH SYNCS THE INWARD AND OUTWARD-FACING SENSES
Suppose we once connected with the empty breath and quickly left it. In that case, it remains with us because it is unaware that we believe to be separated beings in the low-frequency world of the outward-facing senses.

Yet the empty breath senses the stress coming from this belief, so it synchs our discomfort with the high-frequency world of the inward-facing senses. It does not do it because this world is more peaceful than the world of the outward-facing senses. But because the stress in the low-frequency world of the outward-facing senses does not seem stressful in the high-frequency world of the inward-facing senses.

The empty breath always functions as an automatic gear shift between the outward and inward-facing sense. When connected with the empty breath, the abstractness in the world of the inward-facing senses becomes the base from which the world of the outward-facing senses is perceived. Thus it does not appear to consist of something but nothing.

When not connected with the empty breath, the world of the outward-facing senses is prioritised. But when you relax, have sex or your response to something is perceived as ‘it is what it is,’ the ratio between the world of the outward and inward-facing senses changes per what and where you appear to be. It is unnecessary to undo the belief in being someone definitive to connect with the empty breath, but it is essential to be willing to undo it. This is enough. It does not require meditation and other techniques based on exclusion, restraint and control. Nor is it needed to avoid that because if you restrain yourself and stand by that completely, the uncontrolled energy ignites a take-off to the empty breath.

There are many ways to appear in a world defined by time and space, but there is no way to leave it because you are not in it. Like within the context of such a world, a dreamer is not in their dream and, therefore, does not return to bed when the dream is over. Likewise, you do not return to the formlessness of oneness when your apparent life in a world defined by time and space is finished because you never left the formlessness of oneness. Since most resist being nobody, they are unwilling to undo the belief in being somebody. But if you acknowledge this, you confirm what you appear to be is make-believe. Thus you have a willingness to undo the belief in being somebody.

This does not mean that you suddenly are gone, reborn or awakened. Like within the context of this belief, Santa Claus does not stop when you grow up. But the impression that he is real stops. However, there is one difference between the undoing of the belief in Santa Claus and you being someone definitive. When the belief in the latter is undone or in the process of being it, you are not disappointed. Instead, you feel free to enjoy being someone defined by time and space.

It may not always be the experience that the empty breath is your best friend because it does not help you regarding what and where you like to be. It is not easy to explain the transparent flow of bliss that the empty breath entails because it comes from the absence of experiencing being someone.

Connecting with the empty breath, you do not aim to go higher but to fall into the bliss of nothing.

Why is nothing so blissful? Because without something there are no problems!

When connected with the empty breath, what you seem to receive from the world is always the same because you receive what you give and give what you have, namely the indifference of the empty breath.

Feeling the connectedness with the empty breath, you smile regardless you win or not because, in the flow of the empty breath, you are indifferent to becoming and getting more.

To be loved is a need that comes from the perception that differences make a difference. But since the empty breath is indifferent to differences, being loved does not make a difference when connected with it.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The function of the empty breath is not to improve the apparent condition of what and where you appear to be. That would be a replacement of one illusion with another. Instead, its function is to facilitate the undoing of the belief that there is more than that which is One.

Being connected with the empty breath, you are indifferent to the apparent differences in a world where there seems to be more than one – just like you are indifferent to the experienced differences in the world of a movie or a computer game because you know they are make-believe.

If something seems to bother you, use the frustration to ignite a take-off into the empty breath so you can see what you judge as something terrible is nothing. See Take-offs into the empty breath.

The empty breath is a life jacket you got from that which is one when you left it to be and have more than one. Of course, this is a metaphor because you have never left oneness since it is formless, thus endless. Yet, it seems possible to imagine not being there but in a world where there seems to be more than one.

This life jacket, the empty breath, loves you unconditionally. Thus it is not bothered by what and where you believe to be. Actually, it does not even know this fantasy. It can only be shared by those who want to be somebody definitive. And the empty breath has no way of being something because it is nothing, thus seeing nothing.

Thus being connected with the empty breath, every experience of something is perceived as nothing. Of course, this does not mean that you do not do anything about a broken leg, for example. But since it is seen as nothing, you do not add worries to your broken leg. Therefore, since changing or transforming something or somebody does not seem appealing, you have a laid-back life with the empty breath.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Taking deep breaths or, in any other way manipulating the breath is not beneficial when connecting with the empty breath because doing so enhances the belief in being someone in charge. The same applies to being centred, balanced, focused or something else.

It is the willingness not to hold back thoughts that connects you with the empty breath. The uncontrolled energy of thoughts ignites a take-off into the empty breath, whether you walk, sit, talk or whatnot. See Take-offs into the empty breath.

Unconfined thoughts or feelings repeatedly shoot off several at a time to ignite a take-off into the empty breath. But you stop them from doing that by defining them, so you can remain in the illusion of being someone definitive.

The more you limit yourself to being someone definitive, the more you feel like you will collapse. To prevent that, you improve your definition until you feel so constrained that you burst into anger or stop giving a shit about holding yourself together. Thus the uncontrolled energy of the suppressed thoughts and feelings ignites a take-off into the empty breath. However, it does not help you escape your cage but the belief that you are in it.

What you see on the screen is on a hard disk with nothing but zeros and ones disguised as something. Yet, it is not before the combination of zeros and ones is processed by an app into what appears to be on the screen that the nothingness of the hard disk is experienced as a tangible world that you can change.

The empty breath, which in this context is unprocessed zeros and ones, does not know that you assign special meaning to the nothingness on the screen, which, in this context, is the world, so that you appear to be someone experiencing something instead of emptiness.

All that the empty breath knows is that there is no more than the formlessness of that which is One. Thus all that it wants is to breathe nothing but emptiness into what you believe to be and see so that there does not seem to be something hiding, there never was or will be more than that which is One since it is formless, thus endless.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

If the present stream of thoughts or feelings is not manipulated or suppressed, its natural energy ignites a take-off into the empty breath. You can make up stories of love or anything else in its presence without feeling deceitful to the empty breath because it sees the world where you believe in being as a blank computer screen. So although the stories you fabricate seem to disclose something, the screen remains empty.

In other words, it does not matter how you perceive the experiences produced by the brain when you are with the empty breath. You do not need the happiness from being in sync with the brain. You are in the bliss of nothing until you define it as something.

No worries, having been with the empty breath for just a split second, the slate is wiped clean. Thus you return to interacting with a world that appears to be outside of you with the perception, it is what it is.’ This perception makes you feel on the beat regardless of how you experience something.

That is until you judge specific experiences as better by not perceiving your reaction to them as ‘it is what it is’ but ‘I know what it is.’ Read more about those perceptions in hack #4.2 The brain’s script and how to perceive it to feel happy. However, this does not make you feel on the beat because hardly anything goes your way. Fortunately, if not handling this frustration, its untamed energy ignites a take-off into the empty breath.

In this way, you can go back and forth between the conscious experience of something (read more about that here) and the bliss of nothing (read more about that here) until you forget to disconnect from the bliss of nothing. Thus the Enlightenment of that which is One takes over and erases everything that requires more than one. Read more about that in hack #6.1 The Enlightenment of that which is One.

Since that which is One cannot be experienced, it is ignored by those who believe that something unexplainable is unreal. At best, it is imagined as a state of consciousness in which the self has been transcended into a higher one. Oneness, however, has nothing to do with being in a state nor being conscious of something because that requires more than one. So does being someone. The empty breath is not about getting better health, more money, success, love or anything else, but seeing what you appear to be and have is nothing. Hence there does not appear to be something hiding the formlessness of oneness.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

As you probably have read many times in Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings, it requires more than one to experience something and oneness is formless, thus endless, so every experience is fictional. Obviously, this also includes the experience of the empty breath. It is as unreal as any other experience.

Yet this experience, which is deeply rooted in an archetypical image of a never-ending rhythmic flow, slowly but surely undoes the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is One. Furthermore, it makes it seems unproblematic to have this belief. Not in the sense that you are not troubled by anything but indifferent to it.

If this feels confusing, do not try to get a grip on it. Instead, go with the flow of chaos until you cannot make ends meet into being someone definitive but feel as if you are about to explode, which in a sense also happens when the build-up tensions ignite a take-off into the empty breath. Since it results in a state of not-knowing, you are not bound up with the belief in being someone definitive until you leave this state and return to that belief.

Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings gladly proclaim they are nothing. So when connecting with the empty breath, for example, there is nothing to perceive the present moment as something. Though the empty breath has no need to be remembered by you, doing so is beneficial for your well-being as someone definitive and the undoing of belief in being that.

The empty breath automatically syncs the outer and the inward-facing senses, so it feels good to believe to be in a world where there seems to be more than one while it undoes that belief.

A state of not-knowing does not only come from the empty breath. It is the outcome of all duality hacks. But if the state is always the same cannot be known because nobody is conscious of it.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The changeover to a state of not-knowing may seem unpleasant. This is because the brain tries to distract you from leaving its definable world by producing very tangible and disturbing experiences, making you feel attacked and thus as if you are someone definitive. ∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Following the empty breath, you automatically multitask because it does not know the concept of focusing on something specific. So when you do not feel the empty breath, multitasking makes you feel it.

 

Entering a state of not-knowing (see ‘A state of not-knowing,’ and how to get there) only takes a second. It happens automatically when you have lost all hope of fixing your problems because that makes their uncontrolled energy ignite a take-off into the empty breath. When you leave a state of not-knowing, the slate has been wiped clean (see The after-effect of a state of not-knowing). Therefore, since you perceive everything as ‘it is what it is‘ (see hack #4.2 The brain’s script and how to perceive it to feel happy), you have nothing to hope for. Thus, you are free.

When you hike, you need to take a break once in a while from the adventurous experiences. And so you do when in the conscious experience of being someone. Thus you connect with the empty breath to enter a state of not-knowing. And leaving it, you start renewed – or rather re-established – because the slate has been wiped clean.
