Alexius in Wonderland

Those who hear or feel the humming echoing oneness far away cannot use it to improve themselves or the world. But they can be used by it as a door to close the experience of a world where there seems to be more than one, so there is no experience to hide that which cannot be experienced, namely the formlessness of oneness. That does not mean they will be transformed because that requires more than one. Nor does it mean they will cease to exist because they have never existed because there is no more than oneness since it is formless, thus endless. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

If a world where there seems to be more than one is unreal, but that which is One is real, it is impossible to be in a world where there is more than one. And yet, we appear to be there. However, one who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One does not believe but pretends to be there, like when playing a computer game. That is why Alexius’ description below of the world standing still does not reflect reality but how Alexius experiences pretending to be where he is not. The same applies to listening to the echo of oneness or having other glimpses of Enlightenment.

THE WORLD STOOD STILL
The first time the world stood still was in Alexius’ teen years. He looked out the window and saw everything covered by snow. It was like the whiteness outside of him turned him white while Donovan’s Jennifer Juniper was playing in the background.

He forgot to participate in the story of time and space. The air, he perceived as so thin that there was no space between anything. And although he noticed the music from his speakers, the silence was so loud that all he heard was the echo of oneness.

Much later, on a walk along the sea, the echo of oneness was there again – and sometime later, when he was walking on a pedestrian street busy handing out flyers, the distant echo of oneness was so intense that even though people were moving around him, it was like there was no movement and no people. He did not know what was going on, nor did he try to figure it out because when you hear the echo of oneness, you do not need more.

After being accustomed to hearing the echo of oneness, he realised that this distant humming is what the words Aum, Sohang or The Word of God symbolise and that many people do not hear it because they expect those words to reveal a higher understanding. But there is no understanding get. Neither is there any need for it when you hear the distant humming that Aum, Sohang and The Word of God symbolise. THE PRIMORDIAL VIBRATION
The word guitar is a symbol of something that makes impressive sounds. But you do not sense those sounds when reading the word unless you have heard them before.

That is the same regarding Aum, Sohang or The Word of God. These words symbolise the distant humming of oneness. But they will not remind you of the unpronounceable vibration of oneness, nor will the subtle sound you can hear from a computer when you are close to it.

The distant humming of oneness hangs about a world where there seems to be more than one like an echo. It is the engine of it but not in the sense that it produces it. That is impossible because it echoes that which has no beginning and end, so it cannot create anything specific. Still, its energy is used to uphold the imagination of a world where there seems to be more than one, even though it is not in that fantasy – just like the dreamer’s energy makes it possible to have a dream but not to manifest the dreamer in the dream.

The vibration that ‘Aum’ and ‘Sohang’ symbolises is your launching pad to oneness.

Therefore, the echo of oneness is not for you if you dream about getting famous or rich or making the world a better place per a specific belief. This primordial vibration knows nothing to achieve or make better. On the contrary, it undoes everything conceivable, so there is not something to experience, thus nothing that seems to hide the formlessness of oneness.

TO EXPERIENCE SOMETHING OR NOT
The Enlightenment of that which is One cannot be experienced as that requires more than one. Therefore, the above is not about the Enlightenment of that which is One but about having glimpses of it. In this case, by hearing the vibration that Aum, Sohang or The Word of God symbolise. You hear it when the definable world of the outward-facing senses is so far-off that the distant humming from the edge of the universe is the nearest.

But this is just one aspect of having glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One. The other ones are striking visions of light, hearing the crispness of ethereal harmonies, tasting the sweetness of oneness, or feeling any of these expressions. However, since society is very focused on visual impact, you may only have heard of the visual aspect of the Enlightenment of that which is One.

Suppose you stop perceiving one of these aspects as something of several elements. In that case, there is no separation to establish you as somebody definitive. Hence the Enlightenment of that which is One set in beyond the senses (see hack #6.1 From the inward-facing senses through a black hole into that which is One).

REALITY IS NEVER-ENDING. THUS EVERYTHING THAT ENDS IS UNREAL
Compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One or having glimpses of it, appearing to be someone in the world of the outward-facing senses feels like a distraction. But why not enjoy it? There is nothing to lose. You are not someone definitive, so you can pretend to be anybody in the world of the outward-facing senses.

If you are into concepts of love, you can perceive the world through glasses of love. And since it is all make-believe, you may as well pretend to be in wonderland. Especially if you do it with the duality flow because, in that case, your wonderland is contrasted by sorrow, so you feel wonderful when you are sad. THE ENLIGHTENMENT OF THAT WHICH IS ONE IS A TIMELESS JOURNEY WITHOUT DISTANCE TO THAT WHICH IS ONE
Metaphorically, you can say that what you experience via the inward-facing senses is a wall surrounding that which is One. The wall seems to have no substance. Yet it can be seen, heard, felt or tasted. Suppose you do not try to define this. In that case, the outward-facing senses have nothing to work with. Thus a black hole, with a thin frame of white light inside it and a rapidly spiralling bright light outside it, suddenly and very quickly sucks you into it.

However, the black hole has no end, so you do not reach oneness. No problem, there is no more than that which is One since it is formless, thus endless. So you never left it to experience a world where there seems to be more than one.

Enlightenment can also be felt and heard in several degrees. AUM can open your inner ear.

There are no degrees of the Enlightenment of that which is One because it cannot be experienced. However,you can experience glimpses of it in various degrees depending on how much you shut off the outward-facing senses. You see, hear, feel and taste these glimpses via the inward-facing senses. To do that, you do not have to close your eyes or be in a particular place or position. You just focus less on the world of the outward senses. Read more about that here. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

ARE THERE DEGREES OF ENLIGHTENMENT?
The answer to the question is both yes and no.
In the Enlightenment of that which is One, everything happens simultaneously. Therefore, since there are no specific elements available to combine into something understandable, it is beyond the senses. Thus impossible to experience and therefore without degrees.

Nevertheless, you can have glimpses of Enlightenment in various degrees via the inward-facing senses regardless of the body’s state, how and where it is positioned and if you know anything about Enlightenment. It is merely a matter of not focusing on something specific. The more you do that, the less the substantial world of the outward-facing senses blocks the abstractness of the inward-facing senses.

However, like a movie trailer is not the movie, the glimpses of Enlightenment are not the Enlightenment of that which is One. But unlike a movie trailer which does not contain the whole film, glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One has it all. So when you stop distinguishing them, without any transition, the Enlightenment of that which is One set in.

It is as if it comes from out of nowhere through a gap that may look black (see the article The ins and outs of a black hole) to terminate your consciousness quickly.  Thus nothing is sucked through a black gap that is gone because there is no awareness to hide there is no more than that which is One. So if you want to hold onto being someone definitive, somewhere specific, thus denying the formlessness of oneness, you stop the extraction of consciousness by fearing it. Since that requires more than one, you are, without any transition, back in a world where there seems to be more than one.

THE ENLIGHTENMENT OF THAT WHICH IS ONE OR GLIMPSES OF IT
Nobody can attest to you having been the Enlightenment of that which is One because it calls for more than one. For the same reason, you only have vague memories of nothing entering the void of antimatter in a gap of light. The memories pop up every time you have glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One, which can be visions of light, celestial music, shivering feelings of total emptiness or tastes of heavenly sweetness. You only devote yourself to one of these aspects at a time but without hanging onto it. So if another replaces that aspect, you go with that. However, never try to mix them.

If you want to return to the Enlightenment of that which is One, you stop distinguishing the glimpses of the aspect you experience. Therefore, since separation is not confirmed, your experience stops. Without any transition, the Enlightenment of that which is One set in to erase all the thoughts used to imagine being outside of oneness.

Unlike the Enlightenment of that which is One, glimpses of it do not wipe out thoughts completely. But you forget to assign them with a specific meaning, thus moving lightly in the material world of the outward-facing senses. At the same time, glimpses of Enlightenment come to you from the abstractness of the inward-facing senses.

When that is over, the focus on the material world of the outward-facing senses is re-established. If you want to look special there, you probably claim to have been awakened by the glimpses, thus being someone who knows how to make the world a better place. But by using glimpses to highlight yourself as somebody instead of undoing the belief in being that, you are imprisoned by the glimpses, not set free.

The world of the outward-facing senses is experienced via seeing, hearing, feeling and tasting/smelling something perceived as material. The world of the inward-facing senses can also be seen, heard, felt and tasted. However, you do not get a sense of something tangible but abstract.

Depending on how much you use the inward-facing senses to perceive your experiences in the world of the outward-fencing senses, you have a pleasant day or glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One. In the case of the latter, you still notice the world of the outward-fencing senses, but it does not mean much to you. In the case of the former, you are much aware of the world of the outward-facing senses. But it looks friendlier, and you feel more relaxed. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

THE INWARD AND OUTWARD-FACING SENSES
As the name suggests, the drive of the inward and the outward-facing senses is not the same. The outward-facing senses are for actively expanding what you appear to be and have. But you do not need that in the world of the inward-facing senses because it is abstract, so you are boundless. You can use that to soften your appearance in the world of the outward-facing senses or have glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One, for example, travelling through lucid worlds of light. That is effortless, but everything in the world of the outward-facing senses requires much effort.

Much devotion to the world of the inward-facing senses probably makes you spaced out in the world of the outward-facing senses. Yet, if you do not have to be present there, you can go with the flow of the inward-facing senses, as if the world outside you stands still. See Alexius in Wonderland.

However, you cannot tone down the outward-facing senses if you want to escape them because what you try to escape you enhance psychologically. On the other hand, the more you wish to get close to reality, the more the outward and inward-facing senses fade out, and the more you are on Highway One. It has no direction, so you are not going anywhere. But the belief in being somewhere goes away. Hence there does not appear to be something to hide that which is One.

But suppose you have to do something demanding in the world of the outward-facing senses. In that case, it is best to devote yourself to the outward-facing senses mainly so the abstractness of the inward-facing senses does not space you out but makes it easier to do something demanding joyfully.

THE INWARD-FACING SENSES AND THE BODY
The inward-facing senses cannot heal your body. However, its abstractness sets the body free from the ideas of wellness you try to inflict on it. Hence the body gets the peace it needs to heal itself. It may not include genetically caused diseases, though. But since they do not generate fear due to the tranquillity of the inward-facing senses, it is easier to deal with them (see hack #4.3 The fake mix of physical and non-physical issues).

But suppose the body’s well-being is the purpose of devoting yourself to the inward-facing senses. In that case, you focus on something specific, so you do not enter the world of the inward-facing senses. Hence the body does not get the peace it needs to heal itself.

Like a moth cannot help but follow its attraction to the flame, even though it is going to end of it, the purpose of the inward-facing senses is to draw you into their abstract world to undo the belief in being someone definitive.

If you return from the Enlightenment of that which is One to the experience of being someone substantial, your appearance remains the same. That is because it has not been Enlightened. THE ENLIGHTENMENT OF THAT WHICH IS ONE DOES NOT CHANGE ANYTHING
Visiting the Enlightenment of that which is One by momentarily forgetting what and where you appear to be may at first seem to be a process. As long as that is the case, the experience of you as someone definitive can be recalled. But since it takes more than one to be anything, the reestablished experience does not contain the Enlightenment of that which is One. So although you are to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One, nothing has changed except you know there is no more than that which is One.

When the Enlightenment of that which is One does not seem to be a process, you are entirely beyond the senses. Hence there is no one to know about ever having been someone, wherefore there is no return to being a substantial being in a tangible world. Consequently, nobody seems to hide what always has been and always will be, namely, the formlessness of oneness. From this follows, nobody is aware of that since it takes more than one to be conscious of something.

People have extraordinary ideas about Enlightenment. Some think it is pure love, consciousness or the ability to see through all illusions. But seeing or being something requires more than one. Hence the Enlightenment they are dreaming about is not the Enlightenment of that which is One, but something to improve their life in a world where there seems to be more than one, thus fencing off that which is One. Therefore, if somebody claims to have been transformed by Enlightenment into something better or higher, it is not the Enlightenment of that which is One, but glimpses of it that they use to promote themselves as a superhuman with no negative emotions, only love and compassion. Since everybody wants to be superhuman, it sounds compelling, so you may dismiss the Enlightenment of that which is One if it hits you because you did not become anything at all. And being nobody, you cannot share with anybody because that requires more than One, thus turning you into somebody.

IS THE ENLIGHTENMENT OF THAT WHICH IS ONE REQUIRED TO UNDO THE BELIEF IN BEING SOMEONE?
The Enlightenment of that which is One can be said to be the last step back to the formlessness of oneness. But as formlessness is endless, you have never left it. Thus it is not about going back but realise the belief in being definitive hides the formlessness of oneness.

As already mentioned, the Enlightenment of that which is One undoes that belief immediately. However, it can also be achieved over time while enjoying the world of the outward-facing senses. You can accomplish that by applying one or more of Alexius’ Duality Hacks except hack #6.

Glimpses of Enlightenment are comparable to the sneak peeks Alexius had in his childhood of his family’s Christmas tree when he looked through the door’s keyhole. He was in his normal world but had glimpses of something glorious.

Here the world of the inner senses are about to shift to bright white light, which is gonna extract all the info you have collected in order to appear as somebody and leave it at the edge at a black hole so that there is nobody to fall into the nothingness of that which is one. This is not compatible with appearing in a world, where there seems to be more than one, so if that is what you want, you better make sure the info making up your personality is not extracted or you know where to find it again. This image could illustrate the last glimpse of the Enlightenment of that which is One before you give up being aware of something. There is no transition from having glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One and being sucked into it. And since it is one perpetual present, you do not know when it extracts all your thoughts about being someone so that nobody is sucked through a black gap and gracefully falls into that which One. Since that is incompatible with appearing as someone in a world where there seems to be more than one, you better stop the extraction of thoughts if you want to continue like someone definitive, for example, by fearing it. WHERE DO GLIMPSES OF ENLIGHTENMENT COME FROM
Physically speaking, glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One seem to originate from a non-defined space behind the frequencies of thoughts near the pineal gland. It is probably here you perceive the world when you are in a state of not-knowing.

The same applies when you pretend to be a person or perceive everything in the world as symbols of oneness. The empty breath – sounding like sohang – is presumably picked up there as well, physically speaking.

You cannot know because you are blown out by those experiences. That is fine because focusing on the pineal will not bring about any of the above. Concentrating on something contracts the energy, so you feel boxed in as someone definitive. On the other hand, defocusing removes restrictions wherefore, you do not feel limited to being someone specific.

How to ignite a take-off into ‘the empty breath’

When not trying to make sense of this image but going with its absurdity, the free-flowing energy of the experience spontaneously ignites a take-off into the empty breath and its bliss of nothing, provided there is a willingness to forget what you believe in being. PREFACE
The music you hear via AirPlay travels in the air for more than a second to reach your speaker. Therefore, you must go back in time to meet the origin. But going back to the digital media from where the music comes, there is nothing but combinations of zeros and ones. They make no sounds before an app created by another combination of ones and zeros translates them into something your speaker can reproduce as vibrations you hear as music.

There is no soul or anything mystical involved. Instead, it is purely mechanical – likewise, when the brain uses one second to twist nothing into an experience of something you believe establishes you as real.

IT TAKES ONE SECOND TO CONNECT WITH THE EMPTY BREATH
As soon as you have had enough of the frustration that comes from keeping together a special image of yourself and you do not try to edit or transform your feeling of desperation, the raw energy automatically ignites a take-off
into the empty breath. Since it resides in nothing and the brain has used one second to process your current experience of something from what it imagined seeing in nothing (read more about that here), the take-off into the empty breath only takes one second.

In other words, when you connect with the empty breath, you go back one second in linear time to the nothingness the brain twisted into your present experience of something, which you perceive with the empty breath as nothing. Therefore, since there is not something to confirm you as someone, you are in the bliss of nothing.

But you probably fight off the nothingness of the empty breath by forcing the physical breath through your body to feel there is something. However, when you stop fighting the empty breath, it passes what you feel is something in the body as nothing.

That said, the function of the empty breath is not to heal the body but the sick belief that you are in it. So although it may heal the painful areas of the body by approaching them where the brain conceived the problems, namely nowhere, it is not the priority of the empty breath. However, that does not mean the body should not be taken care of while you believe in residing there. See hack #4.3 The fake mix of physical and non-physical issues.

What you believe in being is nothing twisted into something by the brain. In the presence of the empty breath, which is nothing unprocessed by the brain, you become indifferent to the brain’s experiences of something. Therefore, since there is not something to define you as someone, you are in a state of not-knowing. The animation is grabbed from the web.

SPEEDINESS, NOT CALMNESS, IGNITES THE EMPTY BREATH
Although it probably was unaltered speed and chaos that connected you with the empty breath, it is not a speedy or chaotic affair being connected. Think of being high up in the sky in an aeroplane. Although speed ignites the take-off and must be maintained to keep you in the air, it is not the speed you feel but a relaxed experience of floating in the air.

Regarding speed, whether connected with the empty breath or not, we are always moving extremely fast because the Earth, including us, is spinning at 1.000 miles an hour, and the entire planet is hurtling around the sun at 67.000 miles an hour. However, maintaining a definitive perception of ourselves, we do not feel this movement, thus unable to use the speed to ignite a take-off into the empty breath. Hence hack #5.1 Uncontrolled speed leads to a state of not-knowing mostly uses our suppressed energy for take-off into the empty breath.

Let us imagine, you cover your eyes with your hand, so you can daydream about a world revolving around you without being disturbed by the world outside of you. Though it feels great to be in a fantasy where everything turns out the way you want, it also feels strange to be cut off from the actual world.

So when you want to see the world as it is and not as you imagine it should be, and you sense it is your own hand that stops you from seeing reality, you automatically remove it from your eyes. In other words, the built-up frustration of not seeing what is real and the realisation that your hand hides it, makes you remove the obstacle so you can see the world as it is.

You may sense the bare feet you imagine have made the footprints in this photo and the body they belong to. Yet there are no feet or body in the image, and nobody makes footprints like in the picture. Hence what you sense is a fantasy. Read more about that here. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

HAVING HAD ENOUGH IGNITES A TAKE-OFF INTO THE EMPTY BREATH
The story in the above box resembles how a take-off into the empty breath is ignited. The hand symbolises your perception of your experiences as something, thus hiding they are a fantasy made from nothing. Your perception seems solid because it is composed of selected thoughts organised into a spiritual or mundane vocabulary that you share with like-minded ones establishing you as real and not a fantasy of the brain. When you have had enough of the alienation it entails to uphold your selected terminology as real, you loosen the grip on it. Next, you see that you are daydreaming about something better. Feeling trapped, you use the frustration to ignite a take-off into the empty breath. In its emptiness, you still appear as someone in your make-believe world. But since the experiences of it are perceived as nothing, you are not attributed with a specific meaning, thus in a state of not-knowing, and its bliss of nothing.

The empty breath cannot be experienced as something definitive because it resides in the nothingness unprocessed by the brain. Hence you do not notice it if you want to experience something specific.

However, since you are in a state of not-knowing, you are unaware of the bliss that comes from not believing in something. That is, until you return from a state of not-knowing to the conscious experience of being someone, and blissful memories of nothing pop up. That does not mean you consider yourself unique. On the contrary, the slate has been wiped clean in a state of not-knowing, so you are the basic self you always were meant to be, thus feeling satisfied. Are you confused about how to connect with the empty breath? If so, do not try to clear up the turmoil but go with its unedited energy to ignite a take-off into the empty breath. But be aware that you will never know how to connect with the empty breath. It is not something but nothing, and you cannot learn how to connect with nothing. But if you forget what you know, you do not need to connect with it because there does not appear to be something hiding that you are nothing.

APPENDIX
The empty breath is often ignited by an emotional issue where two opposing elements accelerate so much that they suddenly meet at incredible speed. But since the empty breath is nothing, the revelation is not a physical sensation. Instead, it may feel like having a transparent body shivering with joy. The connection with the empty breath does not solve physical problems, only psychological ones. But if you have projected psychological issues onto the body, they are no longer experienced to disturb it. Hence the body might appear lighter.

In a world of duality, there is no compassion without brutality

With eyes closed, you may still see images of the world because the brain does not need information from your sensory system to produce them. This is just something it claims to distract you from realising that it has created all your experiences of something from out of nothing (read more about that here). That includes the experiences perceived to be spiritual and those implying you are someone definitive. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

In most cases, you do not have to read Alexius’ Duality Hacks in a particular order. But in the case of this article, you may benefit from reading hack #4.1 The basic self versus the special one.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Since it requires more than one to have a shape, oneness is formless, thus endless. And since it also calls for more than one to experience something, and there is no more than that which is one, the awareness of something is an illusion. However, this hallucination seems to become real when oneness is imagined being split into two, an observer and the observed, since they appear to confirm the existence of each other. Hence the observer concludes that it must go on separating to be alive.

However, doing so destroys the pairs of opposites that oneness originally was split into, so each side could define the other, and their interaction would produce a full experience of duality. Hate, for example, was paired with love to define that experience. But when the link is broken, there is no hate to define love, wherefore it feels questionable.

That is why the observer presses on to find real love until it realises that hate and love are two sides of the same coin, so you cannot have one without the other. Nor can you have peace without a fight, relief without an ache, action without inaction, perfection without imperfection, and so on.

Therefore, since love cannot be felt without hate, you deceive yourself if you claim only to feel love. It is a mental concept you have plugged into that you manifest by hugging and sharing or whatever seems to establish your theoretical idea of pure love. Fortunately, you do not need to understand the nature of duality to be vitalised by the duality flow. If you perceive your single-minded response to an experience as ‘it is what it is,’ you sense it is not singular but twofold. Hence you are in sync with duality.

You can also get aligned with duality by entering a state of not-knowing because you come out of this state with your slate wiped clean, thus being the basic self dedicated to duality. Read more about that in A state of not-knowing and the after-effect.

Therefore, since you do not attempt to pull apart the duality pairs into independent elements fighting each other but comply with their synergy, the collaboration of love and hate, for example, gives you the complete relationship experience.

Like a movie, the experience of polarity unfolds as scripted by the director. Since that is not you, there is nothing you can change but your perception of it. When that is in sync with the script as it is, which it automatically is when the slate has been wiped clean by a state of not-knowing, you feel the shots of happiness that the director of the script, namely the brain, constantly injects.

Eventually, this makes you so relaxed that you have no more to ask for. Hence the belief in being and having more than that which is one has been undone while you had fun experiencing more than one.

Going back to the basic self appears to be the goal for many spiritual seekers. They seem to think it is without ego and therefore live in the now, come from the heart and whatnot. They are right to assume that it is not egoistic because the basic self does not establish itself as independent of the brain, thus not having thoughts on its own. But it does not know about living in the now, coming from the heart or anywhere else but the brain – like a self-driving car is managed by the internet, the brain governs it.

Some confuse the basic self for being Enlightened. However, since the experience of being someone is fabricated by the brain and all experiences are erased by the Enlightenment of that which is One, what you believe in being cannot be Enlightened. For example, Alexius is not Enlightened but to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One.

The special self always looks for something lasting. But since everything has a beginning and an end in a world of duality, nothing is constant.

Fortunately, the end is entertaining as the beginning when your perception is synced with the brain’s script. Consequently, the basic self has no need for something to last.

Being on your own makes you feel small, which the special self expects to fix by getting the power it imagines comes from riches, going deeper or realising something higher.

The more the special self can convince others that it can improve the world, the more powerful it feels, thus hiding feeling inferior.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

If you think a car in a game like Monopoly actually can drive, your perception is out of sync with the play’s script. Consequently, the game does not seem amusing but frustrating. Likewise, if you believe what you appear to be in a world of duality is going anywhere.

Being the basic self is like being in intensive care in a hospital, except that you are not sick, and still, somebody is watching out for you. Actually, it is the same for the special self, but contrary to the basic one, it does not enjoy that the brain takes care of it because it perceives itself as an independent being who does things in its way and pace. That perception is even more illusionary than believing to be someone because, within this belief, everything experienced is a product of the brain, including the experience of being independent.

If the self-centred purpose of the special self is exposed, it will either deny it or say it is sorry and then go on precisely as before.

The special self thinks it creates its reality, but it is not different from the brain’s script because it cannot be changed. However, the special self fools itself into believing it has made something new by assigning everything a different meaning. For example, somebody who dies is not seen as done for but as going on a new journey. If somebody questions this, they are seen as attacking a higher truth. And if science proves this truth is wrong, the special self says their facts are a hoax.

Whether you deny or accept the brain’s script, you are in a relationship with the brain. And since that confirms the foundation of the script, namely that there is more than that which is One, the brain is grateful. Thus it rewards you with shots of happiness. Unfortunately, you do not notice it if you try to cut off the brain.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The basic self does not need to make a perception that seems to alter or transform the brain’s script into something better. Unlike the special self, it has no need to create, modify or change anything. So although it may feel scared when the script brings it down, it also feels joy because it perceives its reaction to going down as ‘it is what it is,’ which reveals there is no fear without joy and vice versa.

Going with the interaction of fear and joy, the basic self gets the thrill of the duality flow. But the special self does not get that because it separates fear and joy, so it can suppress fear from its awareness to feel solely joyful. But it does not feel joy but confusion because there is no fear to define feeling joyful.

For the special self, happiness comes from having the best, whereas it comes from having a perception in sync with the brain’s script for the basic self.

It is not what happens but what you make out of it that makes you sad. In other words, suffering is your choice.

Most of all, the special self refrains from being in sync with the brain’s script because it fears it will contradict the special perception it has made of being spiritual, for example.

The special self assumes happiness comes from being in control. Therefore, if something does not happen as planned, it upholds the idea of being in control by thinking it changed its mind.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Since the basic self is not exclusive, thus inclusive, and since everything in a world of duality comes in pairs, the inclusion of happiness contains sadness and vice versa. However, the special self is not inclusive but exclusive. Hence it does not experience the interaction of happiness and sadness. Besides, it is not in touch with its feelings because when it excludes hate to feel it solely loves someone, there is no hatred to define love, wherefore it becomes a mental concept.

If the intensity of a feeling surpasses the special self’s concepts, it is devastating because feelings always come in pairs to define each other as genuine. Thus the special self cannot see itself as loving by projecting its self-hatred on others. Instead, it feels the interaction of love and hate, which is seen as a disaster because it destroys its concept of being romantic.

Since it takes more than one to be established as someone, there is nobody in non-duality, nor anywhere else, because non-duality is formless, thus endless. Consequently, being someone in a world of duality is a fantasy. Should you want to participate in the fiction but not be burdened by it, you do not divide the duality pairs into distinct feelings but enjoy their interaction, thus feeling integrated with the fantasy of duality.

Since the special self always feels something is missing in the present, it plans to find it in the next moment.

The basic self does not get afterwards, nor before. Not because it lives in the now. It does not get that either. All it gets is the flow of thoughts that come from the brain. Since it always results in happiness, it never feels like anything is missing.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

When you binge-watch your favourite TV show, you end up so blown out that there are no perceptions left but those in sync with the show’s script – like when the basic self happily participates in each episode of the adventure produced by the brain.

If one of the special self’s perceptions is exposed as fake, the special self diverts the focus from itself by making up a new perception in which it is unjustly attacked.

The special self likes to be together with others, but on one condition, namely that others accept its perception of things shapes their relationship.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

By stating »we are all one,« the special self thinks it expresses non-duality. But since separation is the foundation of this statement, it upholds duality as real.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Do not expect the basic self to have a merry-go-round life. If it had, it could not see that happiness does not come from a special set-up but from a perception in sync with the brain’s script.

The brain renders a world in which there appears to be somebody who can vouch for its authenticity. In return, the world seems to attest to the existence of the one making this confirmation. But It is all fiction, and so is the story about the brain making it because there is no more than that which is One, and it takes more than one to make or experience something. If you do not make up a perception that avoids, corrects or replace the brain’s script, you confirm that the brain supplies you with everything needed. Thus you feel safe.

The special self is always worried about the future, whereas the basic self lives in joyful ignorance of time.

It is much cheaper to be the basic self than the revised and more special version because the basic self does not have to buy something extraordinary to feel special.

Whether the self is perceived as basic or special, it is a fantasy put together by the brain, so it seems real when one self reacts to another. But that is like concluding a dream is real because you meet someone in it.

Like anything else that can be experienced, Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings are an illusion. However, since they do not try to hide that but expose the fallacy of everything experienced, you can use them to realise you are an illusion.

How long time this takes does not matter. Time is an illusion. Still, the more the illusionary process of undoing the belief in more than one progresses, the less there seems to hide you are nothing disguised as something. Hence you can relax and have fun believing in being something while the belief gets undone.

The experience of nothing as something does not need to be avoided. On the contrary, that would confirm that nothing can be twisted into something. But if your reaction to something is perceived as ‘it is what it is,’ your response is not definitive. Therefore, since it does not confirm something has caused it, you can enjoy seeing nothing as something like you do when dreaming.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

What you appear to be, was dreamed up at the edge of a black hole through which you believed to have escaped the formlessness of oneness. Your rebelliousness continues in a world of duality, where you do not accept that everything comes in pairs of opposites. You fight by separating the constant interaction of opposing components into disconnected elements, not supporting but fighting each other.

If you are factual-minded, you may ask, where are the facts behind the above explanation? But there are no facts in a world of duality because it is a hallucination. Reality is non-duality which is formless, thus endless. Therefore, a world of duality – including Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings – is a mirage. Nevertheless, Alexius’ Duality Hacks undo the belief that the mirage is real.

Being special and depressed, or basic and happy

The special self wants to make selected ones feel unique, so they depend on it to be appreciated.

The special self is always looking for errors in its personality to correct, thus appearing in control. But the basic self does not consider itself in charge of anything. Instead, it sees itself as a servant of everything because it adjusts to the flow of thoughts coming from the brain, which is not about personal preferences but what is in the best interest of the whole.

Assuming you are in control, you are under enormous pressure, always looking for thoughts to compose stories where you, not the brain, are in charge.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Being the special self is not about what you do but the thoughts concerning it. Especially thoughts in the category of master and servant – like when you think you are the master of the remote control, your coffee machine, children or pets. Or if you have a boss that puts you down, you still seem to be on top by thinking that you could do it much better.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The special self always finds something about others that it judges wrong. Hence they become the imperfect background for its perfection.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

When the special self perceives to fail, it takes on being secondary. Thus the failure does not seem to have been caused by itself but by somebody else.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The basic self’s perception is synced with the stream of thoughts coming from the brain. Therefore, since it feels connected, it does not need to be or achieve something special to feel good. But the special self is out of sync with the flow. Therefore, since it feels disconnected, it looks for special moments in the past to replicate in the present to feel special.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

You cannot avoid events you see as sad, but you can refrain from perceiving them like that. That naturally occurs for the basic self. Thus it has no need for special events to make it happy.

When a ball is coming your way, it´s a natural reflex to respond and following such reflexes is pure fun.

Sometimes a doctor checks the function of a body by knocking on special points to see if the involuntary movements work. However, everything considered voluntary is also an automatic movement governed by the brain. Therefore, if you believe in being in charge of yourself, you have suppressed your reaction to everything that does not fit this belief. Therefore, since that requires much effort and it is effortless serving the brain, being a servant makes you feel free and happy.

If the special self discovers that others have interpreted something it did as wrong, it avoids feeling guilty by shouting, »Look what you made me do.«

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The experiences the brain produces to make you feel like someone can, in many ways, be compared to the news that Facebook generates for you. Based on the info Facebook has gathered about you, it collects what its artificial intelligence predicts you wish to see, regardless it is fake or not. However, unlike Facebook, the brain has all your info, so the experiences you get from it are based on you. Thus what you experience is what you are. That cannot be altered – only your perception of it.

A world defined by time and space is a construction of thoughts compiled by the brain. But since it cannot manifest its fabrication, it has made a self that feels the experiences it produces, so it seems to confirm a world defined by time and space is real, which in return seems to prove the self is a substantial being in a tangible world. In other words, what and where you believe in being is the brain’s fantasy. But since there is nothing real to confirm the brain’s existence, nothing is making the fantasy of you as someone in a world defined by time and space – just like nobody is making a dream and nobody is in it.

The special self manipulates others into admiring it to escape its self-hatred. When not succeeding, the special self considers letting go of something to reestablishes it as the one in control.

The special self needs to be part of something important, not to feel alone. So it checks all notifications on Facebook and makes sure to like what its friends write so that it will like it and be liked by them, and they are confirmed to be together in a group of extraordinary people. Of course, it only works if you believe there is something in cyberspace.

You cannot escape the hell of the self-discipline required to uphold the perception of being special if you are afraid of losing something, which you are, as long as you believe to be and have something special.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

If you justify your unpleasant emotions with something judged as flawed in the world, your bothersome feelings are buried in a mental drama of fairness. For example, when you feel angry, it is obscured by the sad story you keep telling to establish you are unfairly treated by the world. Hence feeling angry has been removed from your awareness and replaced by a mental concept of being mistreated. This spin also hides that you fear the world will get back at you for blaming it for your negative emotions.

But this is too shameful to admit. So to save face when you feel attacked by the world, you repeat the story of being unfairly treated to prove you are innocent. However, to uphold your innocence, you must continuously suppress feeling selfish, greed, anger and envy. You do this by pointing out those attributes in others so they feel ashamed. You are very good at that, and your friends know it. Nevertheless, they do not expose you because they also look for someone to attack, so they feel off the hook. That is why they recognise it in you.

To hide that you and like-minded ones hate everybody, you meet in special groups where you hug and share in a collectively agreed way of being together. Yet, it is not feelings of love that connect them, but the wish to hide they hate each other. Naturally, nobody wants to acknowledge this, least of all do they want to talk about it in the group because if you do not censor yourself to speak and act within the language established as love by the group, or its mentor, you are expelled. And then you have nowhere to go to find relief from your despair.

Should you have conditioned yourself to feel relaxed when you hear a specific kind of music, you find yourself in a story where you know you are supposed to feel relaxed every time you hear this music. In other words, what you believe in feeling is a product of your story. And as most of what you believe in feeling rests on stories, you are hardly ever in touch with your emotions but with how you have conditioned yourself to respond to something. That suits the special self very well. It does not want to experience genuine feelings but how it is supposed to feel them when being what it imagines.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The special self likes to meet new people. However, not to get to know them but to answer their questions. That is a perfect opportunity to re-edit the story it has fabricated about itself to appear exciting.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

In the past, the special self made a hateful story for perceiving the present, so it seems to confirm its past judgment of others as evil. And since the past, therefore, appears to repeat itself, the special self can rest assured in its perception of itself as good and others as bad.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The English language suits the special self because it is built upon the ‘I’ as primary and others as secondary. So you do not talk with others but to them. And when you speak about friends and yourself, you always start by mentioning yourself.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

It takes time and effort to invent a spiritual self from which selected experiences are eliminated or changed to appear absent of power strivings, selfishness, greed, anger, negative thoughts or whatever you assume to be politically incorrect. It feels restricting, whereas you feel free when not altering or rejecting something in your perception to shape your image into something specific.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Nobody is unjustly treated in the brain’s script. It is all about being entertained by duality, which you are when perceiving your reaction to your experiences as it is what it isbecause that reveals your response is twofold. And since you are in a world of duality, that makes you feel complete

What and where you appear to be in a computer game is designed by the game’s creator. You do not have the power to change that. But you can perceive it in sync with the plot or not. The latter is frustrating, and the former entertaining. The same applies to the tangible world, where you appear to be someone substantial. What and where you seem to be is made up of the brain. It cannot be changed – only your interpretation of it.

If that is in sync with the brain’s script, you feel entertained by the idea of being someone substantial in a tangible world, which is like going up and down on a rollercoaster. You scream of fear when going down and shout of joy when going up. One leads to the other. It is like two sides of a coin because everything comes in pairs in the brain’s script of duality.

However, the special self does not accept the interaction of opposites. On the contrary, its fundamental instinct is to keep them separated to divide the world into good and bad. In contrast, the basic self does not separate opposites, so it feels vitalised by their interaction, whereas the special self feels weakened by their separation.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The collaboration of the opposing sides in the duality pairs making up the world of duality is vitalising. But since the special self excludes the apparently dark side of the duality pairs in its perception of itself, duality does not seem stimulating but depressing. However, the special self fears that if it includes the darkness it has excluded, it will be devoured by it. Thus it prefers to keep spitting the duality pairs in distinct elements to keep the darkness away by looking positive.  

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Since feelings tend to mess up the perception that the special self has made of itself as an independent and unique being, it wants to keep them at a distance. But as this collides with its need to show off as an open person, it lays the blame for fencing off its feelings on others, which it criticises for being closed, thus making it impossible for the special self to express its feelings.

Although the real reason for not expressing its feelings is that the special self does not know them, it shows off as an expert on emotions who is able to help others open up to themselves. However, what the special self claims to see are its own suppressed feelings (read more about that here).

On the other hand, the basic self has no special image to protect, thus, no feelings to hide.

The special self needs constant approval from others to feel alive. To get that, it often establishes a family, which it can manipulate into giving it the confirmation it needs. If that does not work as intended, the special self may pay a psychologist to ratify its uniqueness. But it does not realise how dependent it is on those supporting its perception of being independent.

The special self enjoys talking about feelings speculatively, »like do I really love this person?« But it does not love anybody because to uphold its perception of being in control, it avoids feelings of intimacy by being with people looking for a higher state of mind.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Every experience is make-believe – just like in a role-play. However, following the instructions of the game master is part of the fun. Likewise, believing to be someone in a world defined by time and space is quite entertaining when you do not try to add or subtract something from the instructions you get from the brain.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

You can compare the basic self to a cat. It does not plan to do Pilates at a specific hour but, naturally, stretches out when its biological system tells it to do it. Nor does it attend special seminars to learn who it is or how to be transformed into something else. There is no desire to be anything but a cat.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

If somebody triggers an old feeling of rejection in the special self, it first interprets it as an attack. Next, it justifies feeling rejected by the attack. Therefore, since feeling rejected seems to originate in the attacker, the special self concludes it does not come from itself. If the perceived attacker exposes this self-deception, the special self points out something from the past to make the attacker feel rejected. Hence the special self is off the hook and can rest assured that it is loved and the attacker is not.

The happiness that comes from being in sync with the brain can be compared to the joy you feel when singing along with a song you like. Not being in sync can be compared to feeling disturbed by the same music because you want to concentrate on something you perceive as better.

That said, it may seem frightening to be in sync with the brain’s script, but since you do not feel alone, fear does not prevent you from going on.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

You do not appear in a physical world to learn something. Everything you encounter is made from empty space. The only purpose of your experiences, including those interpreted as spiritual, is to feel entertained by nothing disguised as something. Read more about that here.

It is the counterpart of a feeling that defines it. For example, hate defines love. Consequently, you must sense your hatred to feel love. But since the special self excludes the unpleasant part of a duality pair, it has no hatred to define feeling in love. Therefore, since it does not know what love is, it reckons it feels love when it meets somebody whose psyche or body complies with its ideas of perfection.

Fortunately, this mistake is easily corrected by perceiving the assumed feeling of love as ‘it is what it is.’ That reveals love is coupled with hate and constantly interacting to define each other. Going with this twofoldness, you have a genuine feeling of love regardless of expectations being met.

The brain can be compared to Spotify in the sense that it has many playlists to choose from. But no matter which playlist you decide to stream, it will not bring happiness unless you are in sync with it.

Feeling stressed by the brain’s stream of thoughts and trying to get peace through meditation does not work. But acknowledging the stress so it can be perceived as ‘it is what it is.’

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The flow of thoughts only seems speedy and confusing when you want to be independent of it.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

There is nothing spontaneous about the basic self – like a violinist is in sync with the notes of the classical composition played, the basic self is in sync with the brain’s script. Neither the violinist nor the self has room for improvisation or regret because everything is already set.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Should you wonder if you are in sync with the brain’s libretto, you are out of sync because you have no doubts when in sync.

THE BASIC AND SPECIAL SELF PLUS THE ROGUE CONSCIOUSNESS:
You are effortlessly synced with the basic self when not suppressing feelings by holding back the breath or altering its natural rhythm via yoga, for example. And since very few thoughts are required to maintain this synchronisation, they do not seem disturbing but encouraging.

That is, until the consciousness, the brain has installed in the basic self to be aware of itself, decides it knows better than its maker, and plots to change the basic self into a special one. However, shaping and maintaining a special self requires a more complicated construction of thoughts than the simple one accumulated by the brain to create and uphold the basic self.

Therefore, the rogue consciousness perceives one of the brain’s experiences so scary that fear makes you hold your breath long enough for thoughts to be imprisoned in the gap, from where they force their way out by multiplying themselves. Then, having escaped, they continue their frantic multiplication, which pleases the rogue consciousness because it needs lots of thoughts to make a special self come into being, appearing free from the brain.

But in a world of duality, all thoughts come in pairs of opposing elements to define each other, for example, right and wrong. Therefore, since you cannot have one without the other, you are never solely right or wrong but a bit of both. However, the rogue consciousness does not want the elements in the duality pairs to collaborate because it wants to set up a self that is solely good with no traces of evil.

To disconnect the opposing sides in the duality pairs into distinct elements, the rogue consciousness first imagines a judge determining which emotions are specifically good and evil. Then, an executioner punishes the bad ones by excluding them from the new self, so it looks uniquely good and has that feeling of being special.

When not interfering with the few thoughts, the brain keeps circulating for you to have a continuous experience of being a basic self, it feels entertaining being someone. But when good and evil are separated, they cannot define each other, as they do when collaborating as a duality pair. Thus you do not get a genuine but conceptualised experience of good and evil. Nevertheless, that suits the rogue consciousness fine because, with emotions cut off, the special self can mentally decide what good and evil feel like, thus being the master.

However, it is hard to constantly suppress genuine feelings to experience good and bad in a thought-up way – or twist experiences into a collectively agreed concept of having a good time. Besides, the suppressed emotions mess up the natural flow of the breath, thus the stream of thoughts used to keep the body healthy, wherefore the body seems inflicted with psychosomatic illnesses. So although the special self probably appears as good as planned, it does not genuinely feel good.

On the other hand, the basic self feels as good as bad because it does not break up the duality but goes with the interaction of their opposing elements. That does not mean that the basic self is perfect, but it feels complete in the duality flow regardless of appearance. Read about that in hack #4.4 The duality flow goes to non-duality.

In a world where there seems to be more than one, you must always choose something to uphold the illusion of separation. Therefore, not choosing anything, the illusion falls apart. THE WORLD IS A CONSTRUCTION OF FRAGMENTED THOUGHTS
You can compare the formlessness of oneness to having just one thought, which is pure peace. But the harmony is over when that thought is divided into two thoughts: one that looks like a Person, land another one that looks the World. To uphold the illusion of more than one, the division goes on.

The thought called the World is divided into black-and-white aspects. And the thought called a Person is divided into a Judge and an Executioner. Thus the World causes a Person to have black or white experiences. Then a Judge deduces which ones are right and wrong, and the Executioner punishes the World for the wrong ones.

When that is carried out, the Person feels good because it is off the hook. Someone else is guilty of the mess that separation seems to entail. Read more about projections here. But since this arrangement sets other divisions in motion, the relief is short-lived. So, again and again, the interaction of Person, WorldJudge and Executioner is used to make someone else look bad and yourself good.

But since oneness is formless, it cannot be divided into more than one, except in fantasy. Thus the communication between the different elements of right and wrong is an internal dialogue in one Person. However, the Person projects parts of the fiction onto something perceived as outside of the Person. For example, what feels wrong inside the World of a Person is projected onto something perceived as evil in the World outside a Person, such as immigrants, the deep state or communists. The Judge may be projected on a god, parent, boss, or lover. And perhaps society is seen as the Executioner.

That said, it is impossible to fantasise about something specific because oneness is formless. Besides, since that means oneness is endless, there is nothing but that which is One. Therefore, the above explanation is as fictitious as anything involving more than one. However, in the context of the belief that there is more than one, Alexius makes up stories that may help you realise they are as fake as everything else experienced because it takes more than one to be aware of something.

With that in mind, we go on with the brain’s fantasy of you as someone in a world of duality:

BEING IN SYNC WITH DUALITY OR NOT:
What you believe in being is a construction of thoughts compiled by the brain into pairs of contrasting elements, such as happiness and sadness, to define each other. When in sync with the ongoing interaction of opposites in a duality pair, you do not want to separate them because the interaction makes you feel complete.

But you are not in sync with duality if negative thoughts are judged as wrong, thus excluded from the perception of yourself to appear solely positive. Without the awareness of negativity in yourself, there is nothing to define your positivity. Hence, nothing turns you on.

Being out of sync with duality occurs when the consciousness that the brain has installed in the self goes rogue and makes a special perception of your present experience where the elements in the duality pairs do not collaborate to define each other. Instead, they are separated into individual aspects, so you can decide to only feel love for someone and hate for another, for example.

However, since love is not defined by hatred anymore, you do not genuinely feel love. Instead, you cling to a thought-up version of it. The same applies to hate. And since you believe your single-minded notions are real, you clash with the world because it consists of duality pairs.

Fortunately, you can correct that by going with the interaction of love and hate. You do this by perceiving your single-minded idea of either love or hate as ‘it is what it is’ because this reveals love is in hate and vice versa (read more about that in hack #4.2 The brain’s script and how to perceive it to feel happy. But instead of accepting that, you probably accuse the brain of ruining love. However, since you are a product of the brain (read more about that here), your disapproval is a condemnation of yourself.

The basic self, as always, feels entertained by following the brain’s commands. TEMPTED TO BE SPECIAL:
When the consciousness of the basic self goes rogue, it responds like a spell checker to the calm stream of thoughts coming from the brain. It automatically interprets it so the self, which initially was made and administered by the brain, seems self-made, thus independent of the brain.

But since the rogue consciousness interpretations of the stream of thoughts are single-minded, thus out of sync with duality, the stream runs wild with ideas for getting more.

At first, this turbulence seems scary to the basic self, but the rogue consciousness convinces it that it is for the best because now you have endless possibilities. Besides, it promises that by being special, you are independent of the brain, thus able to arrange everything your way. That often convinces the basic self to trust the rogue consciousness’ corrections. However, it does not tell that you must spend many years in school learning to label its modifications to be unique in predefined ways.

In other words, appearing independent and special is complicated and exhausting, whereas being basic is uncomplicated and vitalising. Therefore, if you want to have a good time while appearing as someone in a world of duality, use one or more of Alexius’ Duality Hacks to enter a state of not-knowing. It wipes the slate clean of all misperceptions, thus restoring the basic self. Since it is relative to the brain, it is in sync with its experiences as they are and not as they could be if you were a special self following a specific philosophy. In other words, as the basic self, you have fun going with the duality flow, contrary to the special self, which is imprisoned by specific concepts like being positive. That said, once established as a special self, you probably keep going back and forth between being special and basic until you do not need to feel something specific but settle for the fullness of twofoldness.

ONE WHO IS TO BE COMPARED TO THE ENLIGHTENMENT OF THAT WHICH IS ONE
After a long, intense night of driving a taxi many years ago, Alexius forgot what and where he was, so he was sucked into the Enlightenment of that which is One. But since it requires more than one to be conscious of something, he has not experienced the Enlightenment of that which is One. However, his faint memories of light so powerful that nothing can be seen were triggered when he later read part of The New Testament and Bhagavad Gita.

The visual aspect of the Enlightenment of that which is One is literally light, so it is not symbolic when Jesus said: »When your eyes become single, your whole body will be full of light,« or when St. Paul said he was blinded by light daily, or Arjuna said to Krishna when he was initiated: »It is brighter than thousands of suns. I have become the destroyer of worlds …«

A dream can be compared to a simulated world meanwhile layered on top that which is real. As long as you believe the simulated world is real, it seems to cover that which is not simulated.

The translations of both The New Testament and Bhagavad Gita differ from translator to translator, and as the above quotes are from memory, they may not be the exact words in your addition. But it does not matter because regardless of how you speak about it, the Enlightenment of that which is One cannot be described. In other words, what is said about it in Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings should not be taken as the real thing, nor as pointers towards it because it requires more than one.

Imagine you want to describe an orange to somebody who has never seen or tasted an orange. For example, you say it has a colour like an orange sunset, is round like a ball, and tastes like sweetened water. But the person you have given this description will never discover what an orange is by drinking sweet water from a rounded cup at sunset.

You have to see and taste it yourself to know what it is. However, in the context of the Enlightenment of that which is One, you will never know what it is because a person cannot be Enlightened. You as a person are erased in the Enlightenment of that which is One. Thus there is nobody to experience it. That is why Alexius is not enlightened but to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One.

And it is also why he does not search for the meaning of life. He knows there is no more than that which is One, so there is no life in a world where it seems to be more than one. Besides, searching for something requires more than one, so whatever you think you realise is an illusion.

One who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One has nothing to regret because there is no belief in being an ‘I’ deciding what to do, so there is nobody to forgive, nor to protect and preserve. Hence the ‘I’ is a tool like the legs, hands and eyes that can be used to pretend you are someone definitive. See hack #1.3 Pretending to be someone definitive is liberation.

Regarding the Enlightenment of that which is One, it is best to forget everything you have ever heard or read about it – including what is said in Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings. Any idea of how it looks is wrong. It has no shape. Yet, if you look for something intangible, you still look for something. But if you do not believe to be someone definitive – or do not care about it – there does not seem to be something hiding that which cannot be seen, heard, felt or tasted.

If you fear the destructive powers of the world, you will probably fear the enlightenment of that which is one, as its light will destroy every definable feature of you just like that. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

THE FEAR OF ENLIGHTENMENT
When the cats living with Alexius are asleep, he cannot see what they are dreaming, but based on their sudden movements, sometimes, it looks like they have a nightmare. If that which is One could see the stress in those imagining being in a world where there seems to be more than one, it probably draws the same conclusion. But just like Alexius cannot see the dreams of his cats, neither can oneness see the imaginary world of those who believe in seeing more than One.

Even if oneness could sense this fantasy, it would not stop your imagination of something because oneness cannot be seen, and you may not be ready not to see anything. Thus oneness has made a powerful mechanism that extracts all experiences from those who welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One by not focusing on something.

Since there are four ways to sense a world where there seems to be more than one, there are also four ways to stop sensing it. In other words, there are four aspects of the Enlightenment of that which is One: light, sound, feeling and taste. However, this article is about the most common aspect, namely light. Read about the other in the following article.

The light is much more potent than anything in the dream. An atomic bomb is nothing compared to its strength. However, this light does not illuminate anything and is neither opaque nor transparent but so intense that it cannot be apprehended.

To bid welcome the enlightenment of that which is one all thoughts made to fabricate an image of you as something definable must be left at the edge of a black hole, so that there is nothing for the bright white light to suck through a black hole into that which is one. This will of course seems very frightening if you want to remain someone definable in a world, where there seems to be more than one, and if so chances are that you out of desperation will define the bright white light and/or the black hole as something, and so you are back in a definable world. If you leave all thoughts behind at the edge of the black hole and end up being no different from that which is one, you can pick up all the thoughts again – in linear time – within a few minutes and return as someone in a world, where there seems to be more than one.

The Enlightenment of that which One sucks out all thoughts making up the experience of being someone. Then it leaves them at the edge of a black gap, and the nothingness of you falls gracefully through it into the formlessness of oneness. That is terrifying if you want to uphold the belief in being someone definitive. No worries, you can retrieve the thought construction left at the edge of the black hole, which is done by comparing the black gap to something familiar, the typical image of a black hole, for example. That makes the Enlightenment of that which is One becomes definable, and as it is only possible in a definable world, you appear to be back as someone in a world defined by time and space. Without further notice, the light relentlessly and most powerfully wipe out every definable feature that makes up your identity in the fantasy of a world where there seems to be more than one. That is done so fast and efficiently that there is nobody to know you once were somebody, thus nobody to fear obliteration and the free-fall through a black gap in the light into the formlessness of oneness.

But if you have been used to upholding an image of yourself as good by projecting your shit onto others, you have a deep-rooted fear of retaliation. Thus you see the light as an avenger, you fight by shaping your despair so it seems powerful enough to smash the light into pieces. Hence you are back in the fantasy about a world where there seems to be more than one.

Since there is no more than that which is One, and it requires more than one to wake up, it is impossible. The same applies to reading this article and Alexius having written it. That which we are is not in a world where there seems to be more than one. One could say we are dreaming about it. However, this is a metaphor because, in reality, it takes more than one to dream about something.

That said, you cannot smash the light, and it does not destroy you because you do not exist. That is why nothing is terminated but the belief in being someone definitive, which is like undoing the belief in Santa Claus. It is not dangerous. In other words, there is nothing to fear when not caring about your image. Thus nothing to lose from being nobody in a free-fall through a black gap into the formlessness of oneness. Although this seems logical, we probably fight it several times before we get it emotionally and do not stop falling into the formlessness of oneness.

APPENDIX:
It may seem unclear if you have to be nobody to welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One or that it is something it takes care of.

Unfortunately, Alexius cannot clarify that. There is no transition from a world where there seems to be more than one to the Enlightenment of that which is One, so he does not know when it sets in. There are vague memories of chaos inside him just before it sets in. But there is no chaos, peace or anything else in the Enlightenment of that which is One, as that requires more than one. For the same reason, nothing is taken away but the illusion of more than one.

PREFACE
Most books or lectures about The Enlightenment of that which is One are based on speculations of how to exclude something judged as darkness to becoming full of light. But to exclude is to separate, thus enhancing the belief in being someone definitive – and nothing definable can enter the Enlightenment of that which is One.

ONE PERPETUAL PRESENT
The Enlightenment of that which is One
 does not result in spiritual understanding or connection with a higher being. On the contrary, it results in nothing because it takes more than one to cause something.

Since it also takes more than one to return to that which is One, it is impossible. However, since the same applies to breaking away, you have never left oneness. That is why it does not know that you believe to be someone in a world where there seems to be more than one.

The enlightenment of that which is one can be compared to taking a ride in a fairground carousel so fast, that the mind has to give up seeing any differences at all. Consequently it is not possible to remain as someone definitive and so there is therefore nobody to experience the enlightenment of that which is one. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The Enlightenment of that which is One can be compared to taking a ride in a fairground carousel moving so fast that the brain gives up separating the trip into different appearances. Consequently, since there is no separation to establish you as someone definitive, there is nobody to experience being brought back to what was never left, namely the formlessness of oneness. The Enlightenment of that which is One undoes the belief in more than One. Metaphorically, it takes you on a ride in a fairground carousel, moving so fast that the brain gives up producing different images of the trip. Hence everything is fused into one bright light. However, the Enlightenment of that which is One is not a light that lightens up something. That calls for more than one, and so does being someone.

Therefore, since this experience is wiped out by the Enlightenment of that which is One, there is nobody left to experience bliss or anything else. So when Alexius talks about the Enlightenment of that which is One, it is not based on experience but on vague memories of something that cannot be experienced.

Reading his memories, you may get the impression that the Enlightenment of that which is One is a sequence of events happening in linear time. But everything ‘happens ‘simultaneously. However, that cannot be described in a world of linear time, nor that it is still ‘happening.’ Hence his description might be a mix of several ‘excursions’ from linear time into one perpetual present.

All info of someone definitive is extracted by either the light, sound, feeling or taste of the enlightenment of that which is one, so that there is nobody to be sucked through a black hole into the formlessness of that which is one, where there is neither chaos or order, as that would require more than one. The enlightenment of that which is One is to be compared to the fusion of all lights, or sounds, or emotions, or tastes – depending on our preference as someone in a world where there seems to be more than one.

None of these fusions are the formlessness of that which is One. They are merely ways to hold you spellbound so you so you do not resist all the thoughts collected to fabricate your personality are extracted by the enlightenment of that which is One, whereafter nothing definable is sucked through a black hole into the formlessness of oneness.

This article is about the first time the belief in being someone definitive momentarily was undone for Alexius. The enlightenment of that which is One was bid welcome in its most known aspect, namely light. Much later the other aspects – sound, emotion and taste – was also bid welcome. But never mixed. It is impossible to mix something in the enlightenment of that which is One, as that requires more than one.

Alexius assumes it is not necessary to bid welcome all the aspects, but that one of them is sufficient in regard to completely forget the imagination of a world where there seems to be more than one.

TO WELCOME THE ENLIGHTENMENT OF THAT WHICH IS ONE
When Alexius was 22 years old, he welcomed the Enlightenment of that which is One after intensely having worked as a taxi driver for about 15 hours. Somehow the sum of the images from driving back and forth the streets continually looking for customers slowly turned into something less definable and more blurry. And when he came home early in the morning, Alexius had no energy to establish a focused image of himself in a world defined by time and space. Thus forgetting what and where he was, he was not aware of a transition to the spiralling show of psychedelic light that did not seem to come from anywhere and to suck him into nowhere.

Suddenly a black gap with no fixed location nor a fixed form, looking like a horse head or an embryo, popped out of the psychedelic light show. And then an utterly colourless light – brighter than the coloured light outside the black spot – started to form as a ring with no defined boundary inside the black gap’s edges, which apparently was a hole because colourless light exploded out of it.

The light absorbed everything. It was everywhere and yet nowhere. Without any mention, it knocked out the concept of Alexius being someone, somewhere, so nothing gracefully kept falling through the void into the formlessness of oneness. Alexius cannot recall it precisely because the thought construction shaping him was left outside the black hole, which was not black inside, nor a hole but a never-ending void of emptiness with the nothingness of him forever falling while swimming in a space that was not there – and then, in the exact moment of forever falling, it never happened specifically because everything co-occurred. In one perpetual present, he did not enter oneness because he never existed as someone separated from that which is One.

There is no more to add than oneness is not a big void of nothing filled with exotic ideas of unconditional love and whatnot. On the contrary, it is neither big nor small because it is formless, thus sizeless. And it is not filled with anything since that requires more than one. One more thing: leaving thoughts at the edge of a black hole may be a twisted memory. And, of course, it is a metaphor to say oneness is on the other side of a black hole because it is formless, thus without inside or outside.

Dunno if there is a spiral around the black hole of the enlightenment of that which is one, because being that close nothing seems to differ from each other. Yet for a moment so short, that it is not conceivable, a light inside the edge of the black hole so much brighter that the very bright light around it, suddenly explodes into a formless light that does not include Alexius but the formlessness of that which I am. Alexius seems to remember a spiral around a black hole in the Enlightenment of that which is One. However, he does not remember it exactly as in this image – maybe because everything was moving extremely fast or he was so close that nothing seemed to differ from each other. Yet for a moment, so short that it was not conceivable, white light inside the edge of the black hole – much brighter than the colourful light around it – exploded into a bright light that erased everything definable. That is why he cannot report what ‘happened’ after being sucked by formless light through a shapeless black hole into that which is One. Nor can he find an image on the web that can illustrate his vague memories. Fortunately, you can go there yourself by not establishing yourself as someone definitive who is somewhere specific. THE ENLIGHTENMENT OF THAT WHICH IS ONE IS INEXPLAINABLE
When Alexius welcomed the Enlightenment of that which is One, he was not aware of doing that. Actually, he had never heard about it or a black hole. Fortunately, he did not define anything because otherwise, he would have bounced back to a world defined by time and space. Thus the description of falling nowhere through a black gap into that which is One is made retrospectively.

Actually, it was not before much later, when he saw pictures of black holes in the universe, that he sensed how familiar they were. However, calling a black hole a path into oneness is a metaphor because there is neither an entrance nor an exit to that which is one. In other words, describing the Enlightenment of that which is One is impossible because even though so much goes on, nothing definable happens because it is one perpetual present.

To welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One, you do not have to drive a taxi all night or be in a ‘deep sleep’ as Buddha supposedly said. Whatever way you lose focus or stop defining and labelling will do regarding the Enlightenment of that which is One. However, concentrating and focusing on achieving something specific does not work because anything definable fends off the Enlightenment of that which is One.

So eventually, there is no experience of a world outside you – neither inside because, without an outside, there is no inside. ON THE PATH OF INCLUSIVENESS TO THE BLISS OF NOTHING
The belief in being someone definitive is often established by telling stories where we are the main character making everything right. Or we refer to stories of others in which we appear to make a difference.

The complete inclusion of thoughts and feelings cancels out the idea of within and without. Hence there is no difference to hide the formlessness of oneness.

The conclusion is not that you must stop telling stories about your achievements if you want the bliss of not being someone definitive. On the contrary, Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings are not about stopping or avoiding something because that involves exclusion, wherefore the belief in being definitive is enhanced. Neither are they about transforming sex or anything else into something higher but including everything unedited, because that leaves nothing to define you as someone definitive, wherefore you are in the bliss of nothing.

However, if you are like most people, you want to feel the happiness imagined to come from being something specific, such as a unique parent, spouse or spiritual person. Hence you exclude everything from your personality that does not fit your concepts of perfection. Fortunately, you do not have to change this pattern to get the bliss of nothing instead of the disappointment of something. If you acknowledge that you are unwilling to include everything, you include the moment as it is, thus on the path of inclusiveness to the bliss of nothing.

Be aware that this explanation and the others in Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings are inaccurate. The appearance of someone definitive is not explainable. It is impossible because oneness is formless, thus, endless.

Alexius’ Duality Hacks do not expand the consciousness. They neither increase nor improve anything. Instead, they undo the belief that there is more than that which is One.

LIFE IS ALL-INCLUSIVE:
You cannot remain as someone definitive in a world defined by time and space without excluding something specific from your personality because it is determined by what you exclude. For example, if you exclude feeling inferior by justifying it with the world perceived outside of you, its flaws seem to define you as superior.

Should you lose your self-control and express unfortunate traits, supposed to define somebody else, you claim you were not yourself and that somebody else made you do it. In this way your superiority is ensured.

However, since life is all-inclusive, you have excluded it. Therefore, if you want to correct it, you must be all-inclusive, which you probably hold off so you can remain important. Fortunately, it is not a problem if you accept your unwillingness to be inclusive because that confirms you are willing to include. But not even this acceptance is necessary to undo your exclusion from life. By acknowledging that you resist life, you establish a relation to it. And since life is inclusive, you are on the track of inclusiveness.

Rage is a reminder of what you have excluded from yourself. Thus it is a confirmation of the formlessness of life, as without it you could not imagine to exclude anything.

Even if you have excluded yourself from the formlessness of life, you have not lost it because, without it, you could not imagine being separated from it as someone definitive in a world defined by time and space. Therefore, if you do not look at your appearance to enhance the image of being definitive, it reminds you of the formlessness of life.

That does not mean that there is life in what and where you experience being. Life is that which is One, and it takes more than one to experience something, so everything experienced is lifeless. But it means that even though the formlessness of life is not in what and where you appear to be, it empowers your experience of it – just like electricity is not in the article you read, although it empowers the electronic media displaying it.

Therefore, since all your experiences symbolise the life empowering them, it is not a matter of avoiding anything. See hack #2.1 Everything experienced is a symbol of oneness. Pain, frustration, jealousy, and death, for example, confirm life just as much as love and other so-called positive experiences.

Inclusiveness is the bliss of nothing

Once upon a time, Alexius assumed that if he justified feeling annoyed with the world, his irritation would be replaced by relaxation. However, it was so stressful to always look for something outside him to blame for the irritation inside him that he did not feel relaxed.

Fortunately, he recognised that if he included irritation by being it to such an extent that he was nothing but that, there was not something to contrast it. Therefore, since the included feeling could not be categorised, it could not be experienced as a specific feeling. AnFworldd since relaxation is defined by irritation, both feelings turned into nothing. In short, he saw that the meaning of the opposing elements, in one contrast, is cancelled out when one of them is fully included. So, in this case, you are neither definable as irritable nor relaxed. Hence you tend to forget to see yourself as someone separated from others, thus entering a state of not-knowing.

However, let us go back and elaborate on being fully inclusive. It does not mean you laboriously have to ensure every bit of irritation is included, but there is a willingness to be nothing but what you include. In other words, it is not about perfection but willingness. Should the latter be lukewarm, you are still fully inclusive if you are willing to include reluctance.

Inclusiveness has nothing to do with acceptance or forgiveness because inclusion leaves nothing to accept or forgive. Neither does it have anything to do with embracing or owning your feelings, as that enhances the belief in being someone definitive, thus separated, instead of undoing it. Inclusion is the absence of separation, which is the bliss of nothing.

In some ways, being inclusive can be compared to what happens when we, for example, see something red outside us. Simultaneously, the brain generates its complementary colour, cyan, inside us to cancel out the contrasting colours and replace them with a neutral grey within us. Since this happens so fast and most only see what they expect to see, they do not notice red is complemented with cyan inside them and the sum of those two, neutral grey, replaces the complementary colours. Instead, they hold onto the experience of red as a singular colour in a world outside them.

Grey is always the result of combining complementary colours, as illustrated in the image with the square colours. And you can see that cyan is the complementary colour of red if you stare at red for a sustained time – thirty seconds to a minute – and then quickly look at a white surface. There you see the complementary colour of red, which, depending on the colour model you have conditioned yourself to follow, is cyan or green.

In a world defined by time and space, the colours we believe to see are based on the RYB colour model, where the primary colours are red, yellow and blue. These colours are subtracted from the colours of light, where the primary ones are red, green and blue (RGB). Adding the primary colours of the world (RYB) results in black, and so do the primary colours in the colour wheel of professional printing (CMYK). On the other hand, adding the primary colours of light results in white – see the middle RGB colour model above. Television and computers use the colours of light, the RGB model. Depending on your conditioning, you use either the RYB or RGB model to perceive the complementary colour to red, for example. As you can see in the illustration, it is green in the RYB model and cyan in the RGB model. Most people use the RYB model, where black, not white, is the total of all the colours in the model. But let us return to our story about irritation. When included, irritation and its counterpart relaxation are cancelled out. Thus you forget to perceive yourself as someone definitive, wherefore you enter a state of not-knowing. There you may get glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One, such as ethereal light, celestial music, intangible sensibility or taste. When the internet is down, the thoughts about what is possible to accomplish in cyberspace fade out – so does the image of what you appear to be there.

It is a bit similar to a state of not-knowing. You fail to notice thoughts that seem to manifest you as separated from others. Hence there is nobody to attribute an experience with a specific meaning, wherefore you are in the bliss of nothing.

But there is not someone to know that before a state of not-knowing is over, and the sweet memories of it reminds you of the bliss that comes from not believing to be separated.

As already said, cancelling out the definition of the opposite sides in one contrast is enough to bring you into a state of not knowing. But since there are many contrasts, this state ends when you again feel disturbed by the experience of something you compulsively categorise as a specific feeling, such as hate. However, if you include hatred, you are back in a state of not-knowing. Hate is included in the same way as irritation. So when you are nothing but hatred, there is not something else to define what you are, wherefore you are in the bliss of nothing.

Instead of cancelling out contrasts one by one, you can speed up the undoing of the belief in separation by including fundamental contrasts like within and without, past and future, giving and receiving, high and low or the most basic: expansion and contraction. Many contrasts are a variation of those, so including them incorporates their sub-contrasts. Since that means the experience of separation falls apart, nobody is bothered about being someone definitive. That is a state of not-knowing.

Therefore, since there is no contrast to define your worthlessness, you cannot be determined, thus not being limited by time and space. Hence you are in a state of not-knowing, which is pure bliss. Being in a state of not-knowing does not mean you do not appear to be someone separated from others, but since the belief in being some momentarily is undone, nobody worries about it. Hence thoughts and feelings are not considered tools for manifesting you as someone definitive but simply for navigating the world. For example, pain may prevent you from walking on a broken leg, and fear stops you from stepping out in front of a car.

In this context, pain does not cause suffering. Neither does fear frighten anyone because when you do not use thoughts and feelings to establish yourself as someone definitive, they are not experienced to result in anything specific. In other words, when not used for something personal, thoughts and feelings do not appear to affect you or the world experienced outside of you, nor do they seem to have been caused by you or anything else.

Trying to understand inclusiveness and categorise when, why or how long you are in a state of not-knowing, before you return to the conscious expereience of being someone defined time and space, complicate things. To be inclusive is simply to not be exclusive. Since the result is a state of not-knowing, you will not get there through understanding.

But as soon as thoughts and feelings are used personally, you are out of a state of not knowing. Thus no longer in the bliss of nothing but the happiness of something specific something. Perhaps, you simply left the bliss of nothing by twisting it into an experience of something definable, such as unconditional love.

Neither will the bliss of nothing last if you remain in that state for more than 20 minutes, 45 at most, because without the constant acknowledgement of something specific, the Enlightenment of that which is One set in. And it erases the awareness of something as well as nothing.

Simply put, as long as you want to appear as someone in a world defined by time and space, you cannot stay too long at a time in a state of not-knowing. If you do that, the Enlightenment of that which is One set in, and it erases every memory of being someone in a world defined by time and space. But fortunately, the after-effect of just a split second in a state of not-knowing can last for years. Thus you have a good time enjoying the belief in a world defined by time and space while gently having it undone. See A state of not-knowing and the after-effect.

And that is the purpose of hack #3.1 Inclusiveness sets you free from duality. In other words, ultimately speaking, inclusion is about undoing the belief in being someone in a world defined by time and space. But that requires everything is included immediately. And since you seem to like some aspects of being someone in a world defined by time and space, you may as well enjoy them while slowly but surely including them to have the belief in time and space undone by again and again entering a state of not-knowing.

However, this hack does not intend to explain what a state of not-knowing is, after all, it is not-knowing. Nevertheless, you can read more about it in A state of not-knowing and the after-effect.

If the boxes in the articles disturb you from being focused and centred, they fulfill the purpose. To be in a state of not-knowing, you must forget about being centred, balanced and focused because those concepts are deeply founded in labelling experiences, thus separating them.

Fortunately multitasking takes care of that. It distracts the brain from focusing so that it becomes difficult to categorise an experience as different from another. Applying The taste of Oneness as desribe in The four aspects of Enlightenment and how to sample them helps you defocus. That said, this is mainly meant to be applied for undoing the belief in being someone definitive, not for driving a car, for example.

Hack #2.1 Everything experienced is a symbol of life was about how a world where there seems to be more than one appears to hide that which is One. However, it is impossible to hide oneness since it is formless, thus endless. Therefore, since seeing more than one is a fata morgana, it is the belief that it is substantial, hence authentic, which seems to hide there is no more than the formlessness of oneness.

But like children prefer to suppress Santa Claus is fake to feel excited about his presents, most choose to believe the weird story of a world where there seems to be more than one to feel excited by its endless possibilities. Having so many choices sounds more inspiring than oneness because it has nothing to choose from since that requires more than one. But when you realise that endless options are frustrating, you appreciate the peace of having nothing to desire.

In a world where there seems to be more than one, peace is the absence of war. But in oneness, peace is not the absence of something because there is no more than that which is One. That is peace.

Feeling at peace in a world where there seems to be more than one depends on excluding disturbances. However, the exclusion of something enhances separation, thus, loneliness.

So, you will not get real peace before you realise exclusion goes against life. However, seen from the perspective of being someone, this realisation is depressing because, without being exclusive, you do not seem unique. Nevertheless, that is what makes you feel alive because life is for everyone.

Excitement is based on the idea that there must be something larger, better, faster, wilder, deeper or purer. Therefore, since you always look for more, you never have enough.

You expect a computer game to make you more excited than daily life. And as long as you believe there is more to find by exploring deeper levels in the game, the excitement continues. Likewise, you participate in a world where there seems to be more than one to have more fun than in that which is One. But since oneness is formless, thus endless, a world where there seems to be more than one is fake. Hence the fun you get there is deceptive.

On the other hand, the peace you get in oneness is genuine because when there is no more than One, there is nothing to disturb you.

Questions and uncertainty arise from not being at peace, which comes from believing to be in a capsule of time and space instead of nobody in the formlessness of oneness. Within the context of this belief, there are answers to questions like how to build a house, go from one place to another, and similar practical things. But there are no answers to existential questions because a world encapsulated by time and space is as fictitious as a computer game.

Although excitement always is ignited by something that has an end, you still expect it to bring something everlasting. But when you accept you are mistaken, you can do without excitement, thus having the peace of oneness.

When not rushing around to get excited about this and that, boredom will reveal the peace of oneness.

Perhaps you are a fool running after more. Still, you are not stupid, so when you realise that more is never enough and whatever you get more of entails more suffering, you will automatically correct the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is One.

A world where there seems to be more than one is all about the excitement of imagining what the future will bring. But when there is nothing to hope for, it is pretty dull believing to be in a world where there seems to be more than one. Fortunately, the more bored you are, the more you welcome that which is One. You may blame the world for not having enough. But the world is not the reason. It is the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is One. You have chosen to believe this. And you will not change your choice as long as you hope for a better future triggered by an exceptional person, the latest gadget or your transformation into something higher, for example.

But when you realise it is an endless quest for more, where you never get enough, you are ready not to choose the excitement of more than one but the peace of oneness. However, you cannot choose the latter, as that requires more than one. But you can decide not to look for excitement. And without it, there is peace.

The above is not meant to make you feel guilty about wanting more (or less). On the contrary, this desire is needed to uphold a world where there seems to be more than one. Hence looking for more, you attest to the belief in being there. But you can be faithful to this belief while having it undone if you perceive becoming and having more as a symbol of that which is one. The more you do that, the more the need for more fades out, and thus the experience of a world where there seems to be more than one.

Hack #2.2 Peace of non-duality versus the excitement of duality is not meant to stop you from being excited about something. Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings is not about controlling or avoiding something but undoing the belief that there is something.

The undoing of this belief occurs automatically when you apply one or more of Alexius’ Duality Hacks. For example, if you perceive your experiences as a symbol of that which makes it possible to experience them, namely that which is One, they all become the same. Therefore, since there is nothing to establish their apparent difference to make a difference, it seems exciting to undo the belief that there is anything to be excited about.

How come so many people like to watch a movie? Probably to experience something more exciting.

How come some like to watch porn? Maybe because it seems more exciting.

How come most look forward to a holiday? Perhaps they imagine it will be more exciting?

On holiday you can attend special events fabricated to improve the feeling of pleasure, so you have an experience that is out of the ordinary. A movie – porn or not – is produced with the same purpose: to entertain and give you an extraordinary experience.

But the experiences of your everyday life are also produced to entertain you. For example, even though what you see, according to science, is nothing but empty space, the brain renders it in 3D to excite you. See, The closer you look, the less you believe it is real. Compared to this, oneness appears pretty ordinary. It is non-dimensional and timeless. Hence there is nothing to look forward to, thus not something to get excited about. On the other hand, that is why oneness is so peaceful.

You must believe to be someone definitive to get excited in a world defined by time and space because otherwise, you cannot get the excitement from a specific experience. However, believing you are someone definitive feels limiting, whereas not caring about it feels so peaceful that you do not need the excitement from something specific.

Excitement is always about attaining something specific in the future, perhaps, the love from someone you secretly admire. Should you get it, you start to imagine how exciting it would be to have babies, thus, suppressing getting the love you dreamed about did not make you feel at peace.   because  Excitement is always about attaining something specific in the future,

But excitement excludes peace and vice versa. Peace is not a fantasy of something better to come later. It is one perpetual present, and since it has no future, there is no excitement in peace. In other words, peace is not about finishing something. It is that which is One, and oneness never ends because it is formless.

Excitement requires more than one, whereas peace is that which is One

In reality, it is impossible to be excited about anything because it requires more than one, and there is no more than that which is One. For the same reason, there is nowhere to go and no one to meet. Therefore, if you want excitement, you must extend oneness. However, that is impossible because oneness is formless, thus endless. Nevertheless, it seems possible to imagine extending it.

hiWhen you imagine oneness extended into more than one, it appears as if you can meet another one.

wheeBut you want more. Thus you imagine an extension of neighbouring spaces, so the one-dimensional extension seems to become two-dimensional.

neatHowever, more want more, so you extend the two-dimensional extension with neighbouring extensions and call it a world.

4DA world where there seems to be more than one is based on the idea that something is missing in oneness. Hence the sense of lack runs through all experiences of more than one. Therefore, since you feel nothing in the world is good enough, you turn to transcendental meditation, drugs, and virtual computer worlds made with the help of AI (artificial intelligence) to simulate a better world within the simulation of a world where there seems to be more than one.

endBut, eventually, you realise that no matter how much more you get, it is never enough. Hence you conclude that more than one is an illusion.

returnNo worries. There is no illusion without reality. So if you perceive more than one as a symbol of that which is one, more does not make a difference.

peaceConsequently, you are not delighted by more but the peace of no more than that which is One.

A world defined by time and space is not about what you are but how exciting you appear. The more special you look on social media, the more you get likes and/or followers. However, to keep your followers, you must constantly invent ways to look more exciting than others.

But no matter what you achieve, there is always the risk that somebody will take it from you, like you probably ripped it from somebody else to get famous. There is no way to survive without physically, mentally, emotionally and energetically taking something from somebody else – for example, food, a point of view, love, money or power – if you want to remain as someone substantial in a tangible world.

So when you go shopping, it is to get as much as possible for as little as possible from somebody else. For the shop, it is the other way around. It tries to provide you with as little as possible for as much as possible within the law. You work to make as much money as possible for as little effort as possible. And the company tries to give you less and make you work hard to profit from you.

The strongest and/or most clever will take the most, resulting in others getting less, maybe nothing. Whether rich or poor, you know this is the world’s way. Consequently, you always fear others will take what you have grabbed from them.

In the civilised world, taking from others has been organised, so you do not have to feel guilty about taking more than you need or be too afraid that somebody will take what you lawfully have taken. The legal means for taking from others within the civilised system is money. So the more you have, the more you can take from others, thus being respected as successful by those believing in the system.

But even though taking from others has been organised so you can do it and look like a civilised person in a civilised world, you must continuously defend yourself. Otherwise, someone smarter or stronger takes what you have grabbed from others. There is no way to escape this because as long as you appear to be someone in a world where there seems to be more than one, you always need more to survive. Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings have no solutions for not feeling guilty about that or making the world a better place where everybody share everything with everyone. Instead, it is about undoing the belief that there is more than one.

However, until that is done, it is beneficial to perceive getting more as a symbol of oneness because then it becomes the doorstep to that which is One.

It is a cherished idea that people are victims of the rich, and their wealth, which they have gotten from profiting from others, should be distributed amongst others so all can be equal. But everybody is already the same in the sense that they share the greed to get as much as possible for as little as possible at anybody’s expense. In that context, there is no difference between those who have much and those who do not, except that the rich are more talented at exploiting others than the poor.

To get more is the lowest common factor for everybody who believes in a world where there seems to be more than one. The capitalists are straightforward about the desire for more money and power. But the socialists hide it behind do-gooder talk about more money and power for the people. Those who claim to be spiritual may not desire more money and power. However, they still have the passion for more, namely more love, peace and purity.

We all want more. That is the way to uphold the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one. By acknowledging that, we acknowledge we have chosen to believe there is more than One. So when we realise more does not feel better, Hence we can undo our choice.

A world where there seems to be more than one is based on the idea that it is possible to be and have more than that which is One. That is why your instinct always tells you that the solution to a problem is more, and happiness comes from being and having more.

In different ways, Gandhi and others failed to establish peace in their part of the world. The reason is simple. Peace is impossible in a world where there seems to be more than one. Such a world is based on being and having more than one. And you do not get peace from searching for more but from not looking for anything because peace cannot be seen.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Since it requires more than one to describe something, oneness cannot be described, and since oneness is formless and thus endless, anything describable is an illusion. Hence the description in Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings should not be taken literally. Nor should they be taken as pointers to oneness because it requires more than one to point to something.

In this context, Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings point toward the illusion of experiencing, realising or understanding something because it requires more than one to be conscious of anything.

It is not possible to profit from reality. It is that which is One, and it takes more than one to profit from something. That is not to say it is wrong to make a profit. But since it is a product of the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is One, this belief, thus the suffering it entails, is enhanced.

That is why you do not get more free and self-assured when spending money on new-age courses. Fortunately, Alexius’ Duality Hacks are free, and when you apply them, there is no need for freedom and self-assurance because you become indifferent to being someone.

Duality is a simulated reality on top of non-duality

There is not anything real or unreal because non-duality is that which is One, and it takes more than one to be real or anything else. The image is grabbed from the movie The Thirteenth Floor.

A world of duality is a simulated reality layered on top of non-duality to hide there is no more than non-duality since it is formless, thus endless. However, an illusion cannot hide anything. Hence it is the belief that you are someone definitive in a world of duality that appears to conceal the formlessness of non-duality.

Eyes do not see. It is the brain, that fabricate the images, you believe to ‘see.’ Actually, the brain can produce perfect images of the world with your eyes closed. The brain cheats you. But it is only possible because you want it. Read more about that here.

The belief seems to establish duality as authentic when divided into real and unreal. But in an illusion, everything is artificial. The light from the sun and a bulb are equally fake, and a flower blossoming is not more genuine than a plastic flower. Whether love is perceived as pure, it is unreal, likewise loss, abundance, ego, mind, soul, consciousness, truth, god, angels, spiritual beings or astral planes. Not even non-duality is real because it is that which is One, and it takes more than one to be something.

Wavelengths of light can be compared to the binary data, that accumulate the simulation of the webpage, you assume to see on your screen right now with words, seeming to form a meaning, and images with colours, that appear to reflect the world where you believe to be. But binary data or wavelengths do not have the form, colours or depth of field, that you believe to experience on this page. And they do not know, they are twisted in such a way, that you think there is a dimensional world with lots of different appearances in this image.

The colourful and dimensional world we believe to see now is an illusion because all wavelengths of light hitting our retina are colourless and formless, and the motion of the image we believe to see has been extrapolated by the brain, so that the time delay in processing the data does not interfere with the events we perceive to happen now.

You are not seeing,what you seem to see.It is an illusion.

What you believe to see is not there. It is a mirage fabricated by thoughts that also are unreal since reality is that which is One, and it takes more than one to have thoughts.

TO KNOW IS TO BELIEVE IN DUALITY
Even within the phoney reality of duality, this page you believe to see on electronic media is an illusion. It is not in your media. An app has translated HTML code on servers far from you into something recognisable. In other words, what you think you see here is layered on code far from you. If your web browser had not rewritten it, you would not see this article about simulated reality.

The digital photos you believe to see are layered on top of digital info that no human would perceive as an image of the world. A data converter has fabricated a layer on top of the digital information that the brain renders into a simulation of the world where you believe in being. However, Alexius is not that technically minded, so he cannot tell precisely how it works – nor how the world of duality seems to work as a layer on top of non-duality.

Actually, metaphorically speaking, you are closer to that which is real, namely, non-duality, if you do not understand how duality works because it does not work. How can it work when there is nothing but non-duality? It is impossible and thus not understandable.

The foolish one cannot separate good and bad or right from wrong. All is symbols of that which is life, and therefore all have the same cause – including you and him. So when he can see all is symbols of that which is life so can you, because life is that which you are a symbol of in the world.

NOT-KNOWING IS THE UNDOING OF DUALITY
Since non-duality is oneness, and it takes more than one to know something, it is impossible to know what and where you are. The acknowledgement of that sets you free from the belief in duality.

You do not need help from Alexius or anybody else not to know what and where you are. Nor can anybody help you regarding that because nobody knows what and where they are. However, some act as if they know not to look foolish but wise.

A world of duality consists of contrast. One of the main ones is right versus wrong. So if you cannot separate right from wrong, the belief in duality fades out.

Since there is no more than that which is One, you have tricked yourself into seeing a world where there seems to be more than one. You probably also have tricked yourself into seeing the red lines in this image as crocked, when, actually, all lines are straight, and it is the blue boxes that are offset.

WHAT IF THAT WHICH IS ONE …
… could be divided into more than one? It is impossible. Firstly, because it is formless, secondly, it takes more than one to divide oneness. Thirdly, its speed is infinitely fast, so there is no time and space to differentiate anything, thus nothing to see. However, in fantasy, everything seems possible. Therefore, you imagine cutting down oneness’ speed until it is so slow that there appear to be separated appearances in the distance.

In the movie Lucy, the director demonstrates, via Scarlett Johansson, that if you speed up time infinitely, any object in motion disappears – or in the context of this article, becomes one. A world where there seems to be more than one is a reverse example. Read more about that here.

One of these separated appearances is perceived as you. But you and everything else are as flat as this article’s images because formlessness has no dimensions. However, in your fantasy about more than one, you have eyes that function like AR (augmented reality) glasses. They modify reality and build a virtual layer on top of it, so when you look at oneness from different angles and distances, it appears to get smaller and bigger.

So, since it seems to exist in time and space, you conclude you are someone substantial in a tangible world, where there is more than one, thus lots of fun. Read more about the illusion of eyes in Eyes do not see.

You probably experience, that you see two differently sized orange circles in this pic, because that is what the part of the brain, that measures perspective and scale, will tell you. Due to the blue circles it appear as they are not the same size. But you are wrong. Each orange circle is the same size. You are also wrong, if you think persons are different, and that they are in a world of duality. It is an illusion. Everything is sizeless.

You probably experience two differently-sized orange circles in this image because that is what the brain tells you to see. But it is one of its many deceptions. The two orange circles are the same size but seem different due to the blue circles. The brain has also deceived you if you experience a world of different-sized objects. It is an illusion. When writing this, Pokémon Go was the most well-known example of AR. But many people live in augmented reality, not only when playing Pokémon Go. They look at their smartphone, where a layer of digital info flows on top of the physical world, while they hear music from cyberspace in one ear and listen to friends from the physical world in the other ear.

Integtating the body with an imagined god or superworld has been a longtime human fantasy. Imaginative fiction, transcendental meditation, aura-transformation and psychoactive drugs can be seen as early efforts to trick you into assuming, the body can be integrated with something immaterial. VR (virtual reality), as it is envisioned by Oculus Rift, may be able to fool you into beliving such a blend is real.

THAT WHICH IS ONE IS REPLACED BY MORE THAN ONE
As mentioned above, imagining seeing a world where there seems to be more than one is like using AR (augmented reality), which is a mix of real and unreal. But to completely erase traces of oneness, AR is soon replaced by VR (virtual reality), where an illusion completely replaces reality.

In a virtual world everything seems possible. It feels very exciting, even though it is an illusion and what you get is nothing. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

But why do we deceive ourselves into seeing a world where there seems to be more than One. It is probably because there is so much to experience in a world where there seems to be more than one. However, the excitement comes with a price because in such a world – contrary to that which is One – everything comes in pairs. Hence you cannot feel excited without feeling depressed, for example. Most assume they can surpass this twofoldness and be in one state of mind by having one spouse, one work and so on. Others recollect memories of oneness. But they are altered by the desire for more than one, so they do not bring one state of mind. Hence many conclude there are levels of consciousness leading to peace of oneness. But you are either at one or not. And since it requires more than one not to be One, you are that which is One, dreaming about more than One.

That is why twofoldness, the interaction of opposing elements, is the reality you must deal with while having the dream about more than one. For example, you can only read this article because the black letters are contrasted by their opposite colour. Read more about that here. Without contrast, there would be no article – likewise, without hate, there is no love.

The elimination of hatred does not result in a singular state of love but in imitations because you cannot recognise love without hate. Therefore, since excluding hate makes you feel phoney, you try to make love purer by excluding selfishness to get unconditional love. But again, what you get is feeling wrong – and on it goes.

You never feel good enough because your whole being is based on avoiding twofoldness to establish yourself as someone definitive. In contrast, if you go with the interaction of opposing elements, you feel complete. Thus, eventually, you have no need to exclude something to become someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one to hide there is no more than the formlessness of oneness.

Believing that a world where there seems to be more than one is real is to be compared to sitting in a cinema, where you project yourself onto the world on the screen so that it appears to have an effect on you, thus appearing real.

THE ENLIGHTENMENT OF THAT WHICH IS ONE UNDOES THE BELIEF IN MORE
One who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is one knows that there is no more than One. Consequently, a world where there seems to be more than one is fake. Nobody else knows that. What they believe to know is based on speculations about their existence in a world where there seems to be more than one. Thus it enhances the belief in being there instead of undoing it.

A world where there seems to be more than one can be compared to the movie roll in a cinema. Suddenly it breaks, and there is nothing but bright white light on the screen. Read more about this metaphor here. That is the Enlightenment Alexius is to be compared to. But, unlike in the cinema, it is not something you see because it takes more than one to be aware of something.

When the movie roll is put together, and Alexius appears in the simulated world on the screen again, the Enlightenment of that which is One has not turned him into a wiser man or changed anything in the movie. But he knows it is an illusion that can only be experienced due to reality, namely, oneness. More about that in hack #6.1 The Enlightenment of that which is One.

If you experience a flow of beauty, love, sex or colors in this pic totally depends on the perception you have fabricated of yourself as a person. But no matter what you perceive, if you include it all, the moment of watching this pic is perfect – nothing is wrong or missing. Consequently you need no more and therefore are ready for that which is one.

TO SEE SYMBOLS OF THAT WHICH IS ONE IN THAT WHICH IS NOT ONE
Even though you may have been told that a world where there seems to be more than one is an illusion, your conditioned belief in more than one compulsively makes you see more.

Fortunately, you can undo this belief in a laid-back way by perceiving what you see as symbols of that which is One. Actually, all of Alexius’ Duality Hacks, except the Enlightenment of that which is Oneundo the belief in more than one over time while you have fun experiencing more than one.

That which is one cannot be known in a world where there seems to be more than one – neither anywhere else, as it takes more than one to be aware of something. So rather than pointing to that which is One, Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings point out that there is no more than that which is one.

A GAME IS VIRTUAL AND ONLY APPEARS REAL WHEN YOU PLAY IT
A virtual reality game player is often nauseous because the body is tricked into believing it moves in the virtual world. But you are not there, even though it feels like you are fighting for your life. Actually, you are sitting in a chair with your eyes covered by a set of goggles. An app fills it with a simulated world, and per your response, it seems to create feelings in you as if you are in a real world.

If you, in this description, replace the app with the brain, it becomes a description of appearing to be someone in a world where there seems to be more than one, where you always feel a bit off because you are not there. Nevertheless, it is possible to feel good while you experience more than one if you know that is an illusion. That said, there is nothing real in a world where there seems to be more than one, so do not mistake this article for the truth, but merely a suggestion to take off the goggles simulating a world that is not there. Of course, this is a metaphor. That which is One is not covered by a simulated world but by the belief that there is more than that which is One.

THAT WHICH IS ONE IS ONE
When you return to oneness, everything is the same. It is as if you have been there all the time, which you also have because there is no more than that which is One.

Meditation is a con trick

Whether your eyes are open or not, whatever you experience is a symbol of that which is life. If that is not what you see, meditation will not change that. On the contrary, it will confirm the belief that there are good and bad things to experience.

Those who meditate would be better off switching to SSRIs or beta-blockers and using the time saved to explore the world where they appear to be. By doing that, they acknowledge their belief in being there. Thus they can correct their mistake.

The correction does not come from having insights, being at peace, going deeper or something else founded on the belief in being someone definitive. Instead, it comes from not being someone. That is the correction. That does not mean you cannot have a house, for example. But since you are nobody, it is not perceived as yours, thus not attesting to you as someone.

Who but those perceiving themselves as dirty needs to meditate to become pure?

Thoughts seem troublesome when you want to use them to construct a specific image of yourself, so you try to control them by meditating. Fortunately, when you do not want that, there is no need for thoughts to prove anything. Hence they are not bothersome.

Meditating to make thoughts and feelings go away confirms the belief that they are something, whereas seeing them as they are, namely, fleeting, they are nothing.

Thoughts have no power unless you exclude particular ones to establish you as someone because this makes you a victim of them.

Traditional eastern meditation seems to be about emptying the mind for thoughts, whereas western meditation, founded on Christianity, wants to fill it with ideas of god. However, the mind is not a fact but a make-believe. Therefore, whether it is empty or full of god is imagined. Nevertheless, most need to believe the mind is real, and they can change it via meditation into something better, thus being in control of their life.

But meditation is a con trick thought up by the rogue consciousness of the self.* It promises you that thoughts, at least the negative ones, will disappear when you meditate so that there is nothing to prevent you from living in a merry-go-round world. However, most people have the opposite experience. They experience more thoughts when they start to meditate, thus not feeling at peace. If they complain to their teacher about that, they are told it is part of the healing process.

However, there is nothing to heal other than the sick belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is One. But, unfortunately, meditation cannot do that. On the contrary, it requires more than one to meditate. And you do it to fix the problems the belief in more than one entails, thus enhancing that belief. Besides, since oneness is all-inclusive and meditation is based on excluding negativity to achieve positivity, meditating denies oneness.

Thoughts only seem disturbing when you believe they are yours. You do that because you need them to prove you are what you want to be. Therefore, thoughts are uninteresting when there is no wish to be something special. Hence no need to get rid of them. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Meditating to get rid of separation is a con trick to fool you into believing it is real. There is nothing but oneness since it is formless, thus endless. Consequently, there is not something to change other than the belief that a world where there seems to be more than one is real. You can undo that by pretending to be someone there because what and where you pretend to be is unreal. See hack #1.3 Pretending to be someone definitive is liberation.

In other words, you neither have to refrain nor transform yourself. Instead, you change your perception of what and where you appear.

If you meditate to find peace inside, you perceive inside and outside as separated. Hence you enhance what prevents you from being at peace.

Since that which is you is the formlessness of oneness, being centred, balanced, or anything else requiring a shape is an illusion.

In the old days in India, those who came to live in the Ashrams were savages behaving very egoistically. They raped women and beat others to get what they wanted. Thus meditation was invented so they could learn to control themselves. And that is the same kind of meditation used nowadays.

Meditation does not give you lasting peace or transform you into a higher state. And the teacher does not have something you do not have. All that is needed to be peaceful is that which makes it possible to experience a world where there seems to be more than one, namely that which is One, and since it is formless, thus endless, you have nothing but that.
