The idea of duality was undone when it was perceived

Life is everything alive. This is why it does not contain anything that ends, and what you believe in being, therefore, is not of life but nothing. Fortunately, Alexius’ Duality Hacks uncovers that. A world of duality has indeed been explored by non-duality. It started with a big bang from where time was projected forward linearly. However, there was no going back to the same in a world of duality. For example, if ice cubes melt in water, they cannot be extracted from it and made into the same cubes again. And the light radiating from a bulb or the sun only goes forward. It never returns.

But in non-duality, it is impossible to go forward without going backwards simultaneously. It has to be one movement to remain one perpetual present, thus securing that nothing is lost. Therefore, duality was seen as unreal and discarded at the exact moment it moved forward without going backwards. However, parts of non-duality were very excited by the concept of linear time as that gave them something to hope for. Thus they decided to continue the cancelled adventure of duality.

They did that by making a fansite where followers could participate in ongoing stories of duality – just like, in the context of the world, a fan site of a cancelled TV show fabricates follow-up stories that supporters participate in and discuss. If they think the stories are real, linear time seems dangerous. But if you know everything happens simultaneously (see What time is!?), it is fun pretending to be in a world with past and future because where you pretend to be, you are not. Hence linear time is not scary (see hack #1.3 Pretending to be someone definitive is liberation).

Of course, this article is not factual. It is part of duality, which is fantasy, thus the reason people want stories. However, not this one because it exposes they are nothing.

That said, non-duality does not consist of parts that differ from each other. Therefore, since nobody can investigate duality or go on fantasising about it, the above is a metaphor. But in its context, duality was deemed unreal the moment it was perceived, thus instantly aborted. However, afterimages of this moment repeatedly played in an interactive movie in cyberspace, seem to extend the cancelled show of duality.

One who is to be compared to ‘the Enlightenment of that which is One’ versus someone who is not [draft]

Nobody walks around Enlightened in the world of appearances, as it is an illusion to appear as someone in a world where there seems to be more than one, and Enlightenment of that which is One is not an illusion. One who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One has nothing to discuss and no need to participate in any communication!

On the other hand, the unenlightened need to belong to a particular group where they debate, meditate or hug to fabricate a feeling of oneness. However, by doing that, they establish that there is more than one, and oneness is an illusion.

The unenlightened assume that they make thoughts themselves and that theirs are a significant contribution to the world. But nobody is thinking anything – like radio only can transmit the signals it receives, a person only transmits the signals that come from the brain. However, contrary to the radio, the unenlightened show off as self-made by giving the impression that the opinions it broadcasts are contemplated by itself. But all these ‘personal’ opinions are so boring for one who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One. This is not because they are unreal but because the unenlightened take them seriously. Their endless speculations are comparable to persons in a dream discussing what they are, neglecting they are nothing but a fantasy and that only the dreamer is real.

One who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One never waits because such a person has nothing to hope for. Neither does such a person live in the now because there is no life in a world where there seems to be more than one.

Consequently, such a person does not live in the world. Well, nobody does. It only appears so – like there seems to be somebody in a movie.

In a world where there seems to be more than one – like in a movie – everything has an end. Thus the unenlightened cherish the ideas of god, heaven, reincarnation, or anything else that seems to extend its life as someone definitive.

On the other hand, one who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One deal with the world like playing a computer game. It is not possible to be in it, but it is possible to pretend it.

The unenlightened may ask, who is it, that pretends to be ‘there’ – but one who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One would never ask such a question. There is no more than that which is One, so nobody pretends to be ‘there.’

When you see a movie, you forget it is not real, and you seem to go, where the movie takes you.

The unenlightened likes to demonstrate their knowledge of ancient scriptures or popular saints, so they seem to be part of something greater. But one who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One has no need to be part of anything. On the contrary, to be part of something is an illusion because there is no more than that which is One.

To have a quiet mind does not mean that there are no thoughts but that you do not believe in having created them – or anything else. In other words, thoughts and feelings seem to be rushing through one who is compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One just like in everybody else, but the Enlightened do not identify with them.

The unenlightened see differences everywhere, and so does one who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One. But the latter does not perceive them to make a difference.

The unenlightened is full of thoughts they assume are made by themselves and therefore represent their specific personality. In one who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One, there are also many thoughts, but there is no ‘I’ with the need to pick them up and put them together, so they seem to belong to someone specific. Hence thoughts are just passing by like birds in the sky.

This does not mean that one who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One observes the thoughts passing by. When an angry thought passes by, the Enlightened is angry – nothing more or less. And when thoughts of compassion pass by, the Enlightened is nothing but compassion at that moment.

One who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One has, like everybody else, its personality. But unlike everybody else, it is not definitive but relative. One who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One knows there is no more than the formlessness of oneness. Most others assume there must be more.

This does not mean that one who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One knows about heaven or nirvana, how to unite with atman or god or transcend the self into something higher. On the contrary, the Enlightened see it as a waste of time to obtain such states of mind because it requires more than one, so you remain within the illusion of a world where there seems to be more than one.

In the context of such a world, one who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One prefers googling for how and where to get good food, clothes and other practical things that make it more comfortable to appear as someone, instead of learning about kundalini and otherworldly states to avoid participating in a world where there seems to be more than one.

One who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One takes part in a world where there seems to be more than one in the same way that television takes part in it. Whatever it receives is broadcast as received.

Being grounded, wise or anything else definable is not an attribute of one who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One, because someone like that does not need to be anything specific.

You may think what can be seen is real. But it is the other way around. Only that which cannot be seen is real because reality is that which is One, which is formless. Therefore, since it is without dimensions, it is invisible.

One who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One does not feel alienated when taking part in a world where there seems to be more than one, because the Enlightened does not believe to be there. Besides, it is not about being or having something. Actually, the Enlightened do not know there is something to be or have because the only thing known is that there is no more than that which is One. However, this is not the same as that which is One is known. It cannot be known because it takes more than one to know something.

All light that can be seen is an illusion because it takes more than one to see something, and there is no more than the formlessness of that which is One. So therefore, the light from that which is One is not something you see, nor is it something you become, as that also requires more than one.

To not see and neither be the light of that which is One, you must be willing to undo the belief in being someone. Forgetting what and where you are or not caring about being and having more than One accomplishes this.

What you appear to be must die to welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One. This is probably why St. Paul, according to the New Testament, died daily.

In other words, nobody walks around Enlightened as that which is One. It is impossible because the Enlightenment of that which is One destroys a world where there seems to be more than one. However, not literally speaking because it is not real since there is no more than one. What is wiped out is the belief in being someone in a world where there seems to be more than one.

Having had that belief wiped out and then picking it up again, you appear to be just like everybody else in a world where there seems to be more than one. However, there is one big difference: You know from vague memories of the Enlightenment of that which is One, that there is no more than that which is One, so you do not believe to be in a world where there seems to be more than one – you pretend to be there.

Since others might perceive this as if one who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One is detached, they conclude that they need to be detached to be Enlightened. But it is the other way around. You need not to be or know anything to welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One.

Though Alexius is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One, he does not know what it is. So if you have the impression that he knows something, you may have fooled yourself into thinking his writings are based on understanding. On the contrary, as a vessel, he types what he receives without understanding it.

Fortunately, there is not something to understand regarding the Enlightenment of that which is One. What is understandable has a beginning and an end, whereas that which is One is formless, thus endless. That is why the Enlightenment of that which is One does not supply you with a higher understanding but leaves you with nothing to hide there is no more than that which is One.

Alexius’ body is not full of light. The Enlightenment of that which is One is formless, so it cannot be in a body defined by time and space. Besides, everything in the body is an illusion because making it takes more than one.

For the same reason, there is no way leading to the Enlightenment of that which is One. No worries. It is not needed because that which is One is formless, thus endless, so it cannot be left. Hence there is no Alexius or anybody else to Enlighten.

Notes on ‘The Enlightenment of that which is One’ and glimpses of it

You know this pic is not how the physically world really look. It is rather a fantasy, thar is only possible due to physical life, that it therefore is a symbol of. Likewise the physical world is a symbol of life even though the physical world has nothing to do with life.

The outward-facing senses create such expressive images that we choose to believe a world where everything is separated by time and space is real. However, when those senses are entirely turned off, there is no time and space. Hence nothing to hide that the abstractness of the inward-facing senses flows are absorbed by an explosion coming out of a black hole or maybe sucked it. There is no way to know which way it is because this is the Enlightenment of that which is One, and it takes more than one to be aware of something.

Also, an explosion may not be the best word to use because it is nothing but empty space carrying the nothingness of you into the formlessness of oneness. In other words, nothing happens. It is not necessary because you have never left oneness. It is impossible because it is formless, thus endless.

Research from the University of California Santa Barbara has proved that human cells and neutron stars have something in common. Both are built of layers, looking like a parking garage with many floors that are connected via steps.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Although oneness is endless, it does not last forever. On the contrary, it lasts no time because it is one perpetual present. However, this never-ending story cannot be told in a world defined by time and space. You must leave that world to get it. Fortunately, when you do that, the only thing that ends is the belief in time and space.

However, reading this article, you still believe in a tangible world constructed of layer upon layer of thoughts, added so that it seems there are different levels in a world defined by time and space. Within this context, it also appears as if there are levels of turning the outward-facing senses off and that the more the inward-facing senses take over, the more you have glimpses of Enlightenment.

However, these glimpses are not the Enlightenment of that which is One because there are no levels in that which is One. Nevertheless, the glimpses of Enlightenment slowly but surely undo the belief in differences, so someday you bid welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One, and since it is timeless so it takes no time to have the rest of the belief in separation undone.

If you, after having bid welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One, reappear in a world defined by time and space, it will be as someone definitive without the formlessness of oneness. Yet you have vague memories of it, and that is enough to know there is no more than that which is One, wherefore all experiences are fake because it takes more than one to experience something.

To sum up: When partially turning off the outward-facing senses, the inward-facing senses is only partly triggered, so you have glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One, which is an experience you have while still aware of appearing as someone in the world of the outward-facing senses.

These glimpses can be compared to watching a movie trailer. But then again, it is not really so because both the trailer and the film are something you experience. And the Enlightenment of that which is One, bid welcome by completely turning off the inward-facing senses, is experienced as that requires more than one.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The technique for tasting oneness (see the previous article The four aspects of Enlightenment and how to sample them), Alexius likes to do during the day. He does not do it for the taste of it, but for the indifference it induces.

Being indifferent, he is not distracted from going with the flow of the ongoing glimpses of Enlightenment, provided he is not dealing with something that craves much attention in the world of the outward-facing senses. If he is involved in something which demands much attention, the indifference towards it makes sure that the perception of it is founded on glimpses of Enlightenment.

In other words, the world is experienced, but not as if he is in it. It is more like sitting in a cinema, imagining being in the world on the screen.

This image of the same mountain, as in the other pictures in this article, again shows that you can have many different glimpses of it and that they are all coloured by the one having the glimpses. The Enlightenment of that which is One is not coloured by the one experiencing. It is impossible to do that since it would require more than one. In other words, there is nothing personal about the Enlightenment of that which is One. Yet, describing it via vague memories is like everything else, where more than one seems to be involved, coloured by the personality of the describer as well by the one interpreting the description. Depending on the strength of the glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One, it can be like momentarily dying from the world of the outward-facing senses. So if you are occupied by something there, it can be disconcerting.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Glimpses of Enlightenment, which many mistakes for the Enlightenment of that which is One, may leave you with the impression that it is possible to fuse heaven and earth, thus creating a better world. But neither dictators, rich people, political or so-called spiritual-minded persons have ever succeeded in creating a world as they think it should be.

Instead of acknowledging this, most, who have had one or more glimpse of the Enlightenment of that which is One, start teaching how to make the world better. They put together a new philosophy based on their interpretation of one or more glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One, mixed up with speculative ideas about spirituality and maybe ancient traditions of meditation and whatnot.

For example, they may encourage not being conditioned so that you can be free in the present moment. But the experience of that or anything else is based on the conditioned belief that you are someone defined by time and space. However, it is not a fact, but a belief, that you blindly follow. You choose to be conditioned by it so that it seems to be a fact, that you are someone definitive in a world defined by time and space instead of the formlessness of that which is One.

In a world defined by time and space, the mixing of things may work well for you. But not in the formlessness of oneness. Since blending something requires more than one, it is not possible to mix anything, so the idea of combining the different facets of the Enlightenment of that which is one fences it off.

That said, if you do not do the taste of life technique for the sake of the taste but for its benefits regarding defocusing, you can do this while being devoted to either seeing, hearing or feeling glimpses of Enlightenment.

If you perceive somebody to cheat or reject you or do something else judged as unfair, you choose to be mistaken. Hence you set yourself and others free from being defined by the world of the outward-facing senses. It is in your best interest to set everybody free, even though you think that they do not deserve it. Setting them free, the world of the outward-facing senses fades out and the door to the world of the inward-facing senses opens up. Thus you have glimpses of Enlightenment of that which is One.

You do not find the Enlightenment of that which is One like you find like other things in a world defined by time and space. But when you do not try to find anything there is not something to hide, you are not someone definable but one who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One. In other words, no need to look for Enlightenment, but for what you use to hide it.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The Enlightenment of that which is one is like being transported in a driverless car that is programmed to take you to your favourite aspect of the Enlightenment of that which is one, so you carelessly forget to define the glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is one, and they as one bright light, tone, emotion or taste carry the nothingness of you back into the formlessness of oneness.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Enlightenment and the glimpses of it are in Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings described in a certain way. But elsewhere it may be described in another way – just like two persons often describe the same cup of coffee in different ways.

So do not wait for the Enlightenment of that which is One, or the glimpses of it, to be revealed precisely as described in Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings. In other words, you do not have to fit into the terminology of Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings. Also, trying to extract a specific way to the Enlightenment of that which is One, or the glimpses of it from Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings, will not help you. It is better to forget all words about it and thrust its light, sound, feeling, or taste to do its thing when you partly are willing not to be someone definitive.

The four aspects of Enlightenment and how to sample them [draft]

The echo of that which is one, which often is symbolised by the words Aum, Sohang or The Word of God and which comes from the edge of the universe can be heard or felt right now via the inner senses, because they are not limited by time and space.

The echo of that which is One is often symbolised by the words Aum, Sohang or The Word of God. It comes from the edge of the universe, but since the inward-facing senses are not limited by time and space, using them, it takes no time to go there to hear or feel the echo of oneness coming out of a black hole. See Going back to the first moment of duality.

None of the facets of the Enlightenment of that which is One can be experienced because it requires more than one to be aware of something. Thus when you hear, feel, see or taste it, you do not experience the Enlightenment of that which is One but glimpses of it. This article is about how to experience these glimpses with the inward-facing senses while still in the world of the outward-facing senses. Remember that as a movie trailer is not the movie, the glimpses are not the Enlightenment of that which is One

And be aware that the ways described below to have glimpses of Enlightenment will not work if you look forward to being or having more, as their function is to undo the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one. This does not mean, you must restrain yourself from getting more but not care about it.

HEARING OR FEELING THE ECHO OF ONENESS
As already implied, oneness cannot be revealed because that calls for more than one. However, when you hear or feel it echoed from the edge of the universe, the belief in being and having more than One is, eventually, undone. Hereafter, it does not appear to hide there never was or will be more than that which is one.

In other words, the more you ignore the world defined by time and space, produced by the outward-facing senses, the more a world not limited by time and space is experienced by the inward-facing senses. Without time and space, it takes no time to go to the edge of the universe (read more about that here), where the echo of oneness has been used to create a fantasy world of time and space which seems genuine until you hear or feel this primordial vibration, often symbolised by Aum, Sohang or The Word of God.

»With every exhalation the soul recites ‘Hang’ and with every inhalation it recites ‘So’. Thus every soul counts the mantra of Sohang (So plus Hang) twenty-one thousand and six-hundred times every day and night.« Gherand Samhita, stanza 84.

In Eastern religions the echo of oneness is symbolised by the word ‘Aum’ or ‘Sohang’ and in the New Testament by ‘The Word of God’: »In the origin The Word had been existing and That Word had been existing with God and That Word was himself God.« John 1:1, Aramaic Bible in Plain English.

One who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One perceives ‘The Word’ in the above quote as a metaphor for the unpronounceable vibration you hear or feel when not being totally focused on the world of the outward-facing senses. The unenlightened, however, speculates about what exact words this is hinting at, even though there is not a single verse in the Bible referring to ´The Word of God´, as if it is written or can be spoken.

The vibration that AUM or Sohang symbolizes comes from the edge of the universe, which is only far away if you let yourself be deceived by a world defined by linear time as experienced through the outer senses.

Glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One are echoes of oneness coming out of a black hole at the edge of the universe. However, this is not far away when you ignore the outward-facing senses and their world defined by time and space and go with the inward-facing ones instead because they are not ruled by time and space. Thus you can see, hear, feel or taste the echo of oneness regardless of where you appear to be in the world of the outward-facing senses.

A way to ignore the outward-facing senses so you can hear or feel the echo of oneness with the inward-facing senses is not to be exclusive but inclusive. When you include all that you hear or feel completely unedited – or are willing to – the sum of everything in the world of the outward-facing senses is heard by the inward-facing senses. It sounds or feels like a humming of nothing and everything simultaneously. And it feels like you are both in the world of the outer and inward-facing senses.

THE THIRD EYE
Seeing glimpses of oneness is done via the inward-facing sense called the third eye, a single ‘eye’ in the middle of the two eyes above the two eyebrows.

»The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.« Matt 6:22, King James Bible. This makes much sense to one who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One but obviously not to the unenlightened, because in the new international version of the New Testament this sentence has been changed to: »The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light.«

How this is meaningful to the unenlightened, Alexius does not know. But he knows it makes no sense to one who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One.

When you for whatever reason – maybe due to being very desperate, drunk or tired – are unable to focus, the Enlightenment of that which is One is bid welcome. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The enlightenment of that which is One is bid welcome by completely ignoring the outward-facing senses. First time this happened for Alexius was when he returned home totally exhausted after a long nights work of taxi driving and simply was too tired to focus.

In other words, to be offbeat, exhausted, confused or maybe even drunk is a way to forget the outward-facing senses, so that there is no world to see and therefore nothing to hide the Enlightenment of that which is One. In fact anything that is not part of a scheme to fabricate images defined by time and space will do.

If that includes drugs Alexius does not know, because he has not experienced them. Yet he can say from looking at others taking drugs, that it seems to be more about expanding the consciousness of a world where there seems to be more than one than undoing it.

»Direct your eyes toward the middle of the eyebrows and meditate upon your own self. It is Shambhavi Mudra, the most secret practice of all the Tantra scriptures.« Gherand Samhita, stanza 59.

Practically speaking you can turn off the visual outward-facing sense and open the third eye by closing the eyes and lightly, without any concentration, hold a finger on the third eye. You can do it anywhere in any position. However, it is best to do in a dark room, so you do not think the revelation of light comes from the world of the outward-facing senses.

If something like this is dechiffered into different colors and forms, you will have glimpses of the enlightenment of that which is one, but if you do not judge any colors or forms to be different from each other the apparent differences will explode into one bright light.

If having a vision like this and it is deciphered into an experience of different colours and shapes around a centre, it is a glimpse of ‘the Enlightenment of that which is One.’ If you on the other hand do not judge the apparent different colours and forms to make a difference or to come from somewhere specific, one bright and colourless light, that seems to explode from out of nowhere wipes out all thoughts collected to form you into someone definitive, so nobody gracefully falls into the formlessness of oneness.

Since the eyes always looks for the greatest contrast of light, your closed eyes automatically search the darkness until they move inwards and upwards towards the third eye from where they settle at a light show exposed at such a speed that the apparent contrast between the splashes of colours hardly can be perceived.

»Touching eyeballs as a feather, lightness between them opens into the heart and there permeates the cosmos.« Sochanda Tantra, stanza 13.

If your eyes do not automatically move inwards and upwards into the area of the inward-facing senses above the eyebrows, you may help them by gently pressing the thumb and middle finger on the outer corner of the eyeballs, while having the middle finger on the third eye.

However, this is not really commendable, since even the slightest effort requires focus, and it is not focus but defocus that bids welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One or glimpses of it. Furthermore this may give you the impression that certain physical postures can open the third eye.

None of the inward-facing senses are reached via a specific posture or way of thinking. But deactivating the outward-facing senses can be achieved in this way, so if you find a specific technique that seems helpful regarding this by all means go for it. However, the fastest way to deactivate the outward-facing senses is to not know what and where you are.

A way to to deactivate the outward-facing senses is to use an eye massager with infrared heat fusion technology, such as Breo iSee4 Eye Massager. Besides from turning off the outward-facing sense of seeing, the heat soften the eyes. And when they are relaxed, they do not focus. Hence they automatatically turn inwards and upwards to merge with the third eye.

The thought construction that seems to keep you together as someone tangible is left at the edge of a black hole.

The thought construction that seems to keep you together as someone tangible must be left at the edge of a black hole so that there is nothing to gracefully fall into the formlessness of oneness.

When your eyes are so soft that they do not focus or momentarily do not know what and where you are, there is nothing to prevent glimpses of Enlightenment to merge into one bright white light, namely the Enlightenment of that which is One. It extracts all thoughts, that you have stored to appear as someone definitive, and leave them at the edge of what may look like a black hole, so there is nobody to experience the nothingness of you gracefully falling into the formlessness of oneness.

Enlightenment is not an out-of-the-body experience as it is not an experience, but its preliminary stage of bliss and compassion, which is connected to the world via the pineal gland, is an experience that is often perceived to be out-of-the-body.

Enlightenment of that which is one is not an out-of-body experience. It is not an experience at all. But its preliminary stages of bliss and compassion, which in the world may to be connected with the pineal gland, is something that may be felt as an out-of-body experience.

Most, however, are afraid of loosing their identity, so they settle for glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One, which is like a blissful out-of-body experience – presumably linked to the pineal gland. It appears to foster states like that.

If you are not tempted to stop at this state of bliss, but to go where someone definitive cannot go, namely into the Enlightenment of that which i One, it is not an out-of-body experience. On the contrary, there is no experience at all, nor consciousness, because to be awate of something requires more than one.

If you want to leave the Enlightenment of that which is One and be reshaped as someone definitive, you must pick up the thoughts, that was left at the edge of a black hole so you could enter it as nobody.

Returning from the Enlightenment of that which is One to a world where there seems to be more than one, you cannot know, you have been at the other side of a black hole, because you were not there and there is no other side, since there is no more than that which is one. In other words, the person you appear to be is not Enlightened. Yet, due to vague memories of that which is one, you are to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One.

It is not possible though for somebody else to know, this. You will hardly grasp it yourself. But for sure you grasp, that a world where there seems to be more than one is not real.

When you thoroughly enjoy the music of the outward-facing, it reminds you of the airy music you can experience with the inward-facing senses. It is full of ethereal harmonies floating out of a black hole at the edge of the universe.

»I heard a sound from heaven like the sound of cascading waters and like the rumbling of loud thunder. The sound I heard was also like harpists playing on their harps.« Revelation 14:2, Holman Christian Standard Bible.

Being used to take a ride in the world of the inward-facing senses, that opens up when the outward-facing senses are not fully used to experience a world defined by time and space, you sense the first sentence of this quote refers to ‘Aum’ or ‘Sohang’ or ‘The Word of God,’ and that the second one to ethereal music.

»At midnight when not a single sound is heard, close your ears with both hands and do Purak Pranayama. Listen to the sounds in your right ear which are very pleasant. The first sound that you will hear is of a pine bird, the second of a flute, third of a cloud, fourth of a dragon bee, the fifth of a ringing bell and then of a gong of metal. Sounds of trumpet, drum etc. are also heard.

Except for The New Testament and Bhagavad Gita Alexius has not read religious scripts. Therefore, most of the words in the quote from Gherand Samhita are meaningless to him. But since he hears inner music himself, it is easy to pick up the essence of the quote, namely the bliss of listening to ethereal harmonies.

Besides these, many other sounds are heard if it is practiced daily. These sounds are Anahata (unproduced) and come on their own accord. Nada is related to light. Light is related to mind, so mind gets itself merged in a sound which is the seat of the Lord. Therefore, practice of Bhramari gives Siddhi of Samadhi (i.e., makes Samadhi possible).

Mind gets eightfold more pleasure in the act of meditation than Japa (repeating God’s name), eightfold more interest in Tapas (penance) than the meditation, and eightfold more interest in music or sound than the Tapas. There is nothing greater than music.« Gherand Samhita, stanzas 77-81. Besides for the word ´Nada´ meaning music Alexius does not know the meaning of all the Hindi words in this quote, but hearing inner music himself – though not so bombastic as described in this quote – he gets the overall meaning of it.

Using noise-cancelling headphones is a great way to close off the outward-facing sense of hearing. Alexius prefers in-ear headphones, though, as they can also be used when going to bed.

A practical way to stop hearing the world of the outward-fencing senses and start listening to the music of the inward-fencing senses is to put both thumbs in your ears. But you can also use a noise-cancelling headphone or an in-ear headphone. Then without focusing or trying to define anything, be nothing but the ethereal music coming to you from what may seem far away.

For tuning in, it is best not to go with the vibrations from the left ear. They often are the sounds of a busy mind. So instead, follow the harmonies that appear to come from an empty space a bit outside of the right ear. That said, do not pay too much attention to directions.

Maybe you will not hear ethereal harmonies immediately but the humming symbolised by ‘Aum’ or ‘Sohang’ or ‘The Word of God.’ If so, go with this glimpse of the Enlightenment of that which is One. It could also be that you ‘hear’ thoughts. But they will not disturb you from hearing eternal harmonies if that is what you want – nor from having visions of light, infinite sweetness or sublime intimacy.

Tasting the sweetness of oneness helps you not to focus on the world of the outward-facing senses. Thus glimpses of Enlightenment coming from the world of the inward-facing senses become the foundation for perceiving the world of the outward-facing senses. Since this, eventually, results in not perceiving the apparent differences to make a difference, there is no separation to hide that which is one. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

THE TASTE OF ONENESS
Tasting the most exquisite food, one is reminded about the taste of oneness, if not entirely in the world of the outward-facing senses. It can be compared to the transparent taste of the foam in a milkshake with a few drops of honey and maybe with a hint of either liquorice, strawberry, or mint. It can also be compared to how marshmallows – especially those with a flavour of strawberries – interact with the palate.

Some Chinese Herb Formulations or teas – for example Spring Dragon Longevity Tea – enhance the taste of oneness, provided you already are in touch with it. The same applies to the Ayurvedic teas, that Alexius have tasted and most teas including liquorice.

But it is best not to compare the taste of oneness or other glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One to anything else, as all comparisons are based on definitions from the past and, therefore, cancel out the ever-present glimpses of Enlightenment.

»Your lips drip nectar, my bride, honey and milk are under your tongue.« Song of Solomon 4:11.

»Whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never be thirsty, but the water that I shall give him shall be in him as a well of water springing up into everlasting life.« John 4:10-4:14.

Even though this taste is called the nectar of life in some scriptures, you should not expect it to make you younger or inject you with more energy in the world of the outward-facing senses. Getting more is an illusion based on the belief that there is more than that which is One.

One way of undoing this belief is not to focus because without it, the apparent differences in a world where there seems to be more than one become blurred. Thus different appearances do not seem to hide, there is no more than the formlessness of that which is one. Fortunately, the side-effect of doing the technique for the taste of oneness is defocusing.

The inner sense of taste not only stops the compulsive focusing on forms but also your cravings for sweets and to experience  something definable. The taste of life is always there and it is free. Neither do you have to meditate or be pure to consume it. All you have to do is to put your tongue behind the uvula. And if you cannot do that, it is also OK, because doing so is just meant to help you deactivating the outer senses and the only thing that really accomplish that, is the intention to do it. Just like even you are at a springboard, you will not dive from it, if that is not your intention of going there.

The inward fasing sense of taste does not only diminish the compulsive focusing on something definitive but also your cravings for more, for example sweets. The taste of oneness is always there. It is free, and you do not have to meditate or be pure to have it. All you have to do is to put your tongue behind the uvula and devote yourself to the taste of oneness. If you cannot get your tongue there, it is not a problem. Doing so is meant to help you deactivating the outward-facing senses and the only thing that really accomplish this, is the intention of doing it. In other words, reaching the uvula with your tongue is good enough. Actually, when you hold the underneath of your tongue on the soft area beneath the uvula you feel the empty breath (see What does ‘the empty breath’ feel like?) and get the sweet taste of oneness. This is not a metaphor, nor second-hand knowledge but Alexius’ experience from tasting the subleness of oneness on both sides of the uvula. As a result of this technique, the empty breath is activated. It expands the breathing, which makes the the body feel glorious. And the soft taste of oneness prevents you from focusing on the world of the outward-facing senses. Thus you feel absorded by the happiness of abstractness.

The taste of oneness unfolds under the tongue, when it is moved behind the uvula (the skin flap hanging down in the back of the mouth at the entrance to the throat). Placing it there makes you feel like you are not in the world even though you appear to be there. Besides it cutbacks the need to focus on the world of the outward–facing senses and also the longing for more, especially the craving for sweets. That is if you devote yourself to it – no techniques work without devotion. Yet devotion can work without a technique.

To get the tongue behind the uvula you may have to press it backwards for a long time, maybe for months, and finally use a finger to push it the rest of the way. However, this may make you feel as if you are about to vomit. No worries – it is just a feeling. When you are used to keeping your tongue there, it is easy, and there is no sense of vomiting.

»Khechari Mudra is turning the tongue backwards into the cavity of the cranium and turning the eyes inwards toward the eyebrow center.« Haha-Yoga Pradipika, Chapter 3, stanzas 32-37.

To taste the sweetness of oneness, called Khechari Mudray in the above quote, you do not have to literally replicate the ancient technique. Neither do you have to push the tongue behind the uvula as Alexius wrote above. Reaching the soft area underneath the front of the uvula with the backside of the tongue will do. THERE IS NO WAY TO THE ENLIGHTENMENT OF THAT WHICH IS ONE BUT A LOT TO GLIMPSES OF IT
The
way to bid welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One or glimpses of its four facets is not to be pure. Neither is it about how you breathe, eat or anything else you appear to do in the world of the outward-facing senses. Still, things like that may be helpful to deactivate the outward-facing senses.

But no technique can do that if it is not the intention of executing it. In other words, the first step is solely about purpose. If that is to deactivate the outward-facing senses, many techniques may work. The second step is to devote yourself to the lucid journey in the world of the inward-facing senses.

These steps only apply to having glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One and not to welcome in its entirety, as it takes more than one to take any step.

The part of the world of the outer senses you want to experience is not meant to be blurry but in focus, so what you see is definable. It is the other way around with the world of the inner senses,. The part of the world of the outward-facing senses you want to experience is not supposed to be blurry. It must be in focus to make the experience is definable. It is the other way around in the world of the inward-facing senses. Your experiences there are abstract. Hence mixing the two worlds does not work out.

DAILY LIFE WITH GLIMPSES OF THE ENLIGHTENMENT OF THAT WHICH IS ONE
It is probably best not to be active in the world of the outward-facing senses while having visions of light. This is because the visual glimpses of Enlightenment can become so intense that the world of the outward-facing senses hardly is sensed.

However, the technique for tasting the sweetness of oneness can be carried out while being active in the world of the outward-facing senses. The same applies to enjoying the ethereal harmonies if you hear them without putting your thumbs in the ears. And it also applies to hearing or feeling the vibration that Aum, Sohang and The Word of God symbolise. See Life has no secrets.

This may result in the experience of a world that seems less defined. Not to the extent, though, that you cannot move around but that you feel you are carried around.

That is, as long as you do not take the full tour of these glimpses because it ends in the formlessness of oneness, thus no longer appearing as someone in a world where there seems to be more than one, nor in oneness since that requires more than one. You are not someone at all, so there is no memory or consciousness of ever having believed to be that. Instead, there is what always has been and will be, namely that which is one.

The Hebrew word Elohim was originally a symbol for one perpetual present.

The word god, which is a translation of the Hebrew word Elohim, was at first meant to be a metaphor for that which is one and never ends. Hence the word god was originally a symbol for one perpetual present. As this is not understandable, when you believe to be in a world of linear time, the meaning of the word gradually was changed, so that god became a symbol for one almighty force believed to have created the world defined by time and space in its own image.

But what is not definable cannot create something definable. Hence a world defined by time and space is an illusion and so is the perceived creator of such a world.

APPENDIX ABOUT THE QUOTES
The terminology of yoga and so-called holy scriptures – apart from The New Testament and Bhagavad Gita – is unknown to Alexius, so he does not know the scriptures from which the quotes in this article are taken. He found them by searching the internet.

When everything is included, there does not appear to be something outside you. Consequently, nor inside, as that requires there is something outside you. Hence there is nothing but the formlessness of oneness.

Alexius does not sympathise with Eastern or Western religions or new age philosophy. Generally, they exclude what they judged as wrong by projecting it onto non-believers to make them tainted and themselves pure. Yoga, for example, is often based on meditation, where you must exclude something deemed evil to become one. But oneness is formless, thus endless, so you can neither add nor subtract from it. If you try to do that, you enhance the belief that there is more than that which is One.

Prologue to the inward-facing senses, Enlightenment and its glimpses

It takes more than one to have a vision, so no matter how impressive it may be, it is not the Enlightenment of that which is One but glimpses of it. It is comparable to a movie trailer, a sample of the whole, thus not undivided. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The world of the outward-facing senses is experienced via seeing, hearing, feeling and tasting/smelling something that seems physical. The world of the inward-facing senses can also be seen, heard, felt and tasted. However, you do not get a sense of something tangible but abstract. It is also here that you bid welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One.

It comes through a hole that sometimes seems black. See the article The ins and outs of a black hole. But following the light into it is the end of both the outward and inward-facing senses. Hence the experience of something is over. Therefore, if you are aware of something, you are not in the Enlightenment of that which is One but outside, having glimpses of it via the inward-facing senses.

If you for a moment forget what and where you are you are, a world where there seems to be more than one does not seem to hide the enlightenment of that which is One.

You get inside the Enlightenment of that which is One when the glimpses of it are not perceived to differ because then is no separation to define you as someone definitive. Hence there is not somebody to fight the construction of thoughts that have replaced the formlessness of oneness with someone definitive is extracted by an exceptionally bright white light. Nor is there anybody to be aware of that everything you ever believed to be and have is gone. Consequently, there is nothing to gracefully fall through the hole that is no more because there is no experience to hide the formlessness of oneness.

Therefore, since what you believe in being has not been Enlightened, you appear to be the same if returning to the experience of being someone definitive. However, you do not believe this experience is real due to vague memories of formlessness. Hence you are to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One.


Since the Enlightenment of that which is One has no beginning and end, someone definitive cannot experience it. But glimpses of it – for example travelling through lucid worlds of light – have a beginning and an end, so they can be experienced by someone definitive. This is done through the inward-facing senses, when the outward ones are toned down.

The outward and inward-facing senses
The outward-facing senses are geared to experience a world perceived as outside you, thus separated from you, whereas the inward-facing senses help you experience a world that does not seem to be separated from you. But it does not mean this world is inside you. There is neither anything inside nor outside of you, as that requires more than one, and there is no more than that which is one.

It is the same within the context of a world where there seems to be more than one, because, scientifically speaking, it consists of empty space. Therefore, what you experience is make-believe – also reading reads that it may be easier to undone this deception by turning down the volume of the outward-facing senses, and turning up the volume of the inner ones.

If you seem to see an E here, you are using the E, you have made in your mind, to hide all the empty space.

If you believe in seeing an ‘E’ here, you focus on seeing something recognisable to twist empty space into something. The empty space is not the formlessness of oneness, but when you do not imagine it is a world defined by time and space, no substantial elements seem to hide the formlessness of oneness. PARTIAL DEVOTION TO THE INWARD-FACING SENSES RESULTS IN GLIMPSES OF ENLIGHTENMENT
If you do not constantly focus on something specific, the outward-facing senses cannot fabricate the experiences of a world defined by time and space. Therefore, the more you defocus, the more the definable world of the outward-facing senses is complemented by the abstract world of the inward-facing senses. Thus you get glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One. You see light shows if you are visual-minded, hear ethereal music if you are auditory minded, and taste or feel it if you are emotional minded.

The purpose of the inward-facing senses is to draw you into their abstract world, thus undoing the belief of being someone definitive – like a moth cannot help but follow its attraction to the flame, even though it is going to be the end of it.

Mixing something is based on the belief in separation, so do not try to mix glimpses of light with glimpses of ethereal music, for example. Just welcome the glimpse of the Enlightenment of that which is One that seems to come your way. But do not try to hang onto a glimpse or to have it repeated. If it changes into another aspect of the Enlightenment of that which is One, go with that.

These glimpses, as already noted, are not the Enlightenment of that which is One because it has no room for someone being conscious of something since that requires more than one. This does not mean what you believe in being is transformed by the Enlightenment of that which is One into oneness. Instead, it is dismissed as an illusion.

Practically speaking, it might be best to downplay the visual glimpses of Enlightenment in daily life. It is because you will have a hard time navigating the world of the outward-facing senses while having visions of light. But in most cases, you can safely go with glimpses of hearing, feeling or tasting hearing, feeling or tasting the Enlightenment of that which is One.

The healing of the body caused by partly being devoted to the inward-facing senses is a side effect that helps you not worry about its appearance and inevitable end. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

THE INWARD-FACING SENSES AND THE BODY
Devotion to the inward-facing senses will heal your body because it will give the body the peace it needs to heal itself. This may not include genetically caused diseases, though. However, due to the tranquillity, the inward-facing senses entail, a genetically created condition does not generate fear. Thus it is easier to deal with (see hack #4.3 The toxic mix of physical and non-physical issues).

But suppose the body’s wellbeing is the purpose of devoting yourself to the inward-facing senses. In that case, you cannot be attentive to the world of the inward-facing senses since that requires having no specific focus, so the world of the inward-facing senses fades out without you even noticing it. Thus the body is not being nurtured by it.

TOTAL DEVOTION TO THE INWARD-FACING SENSES BIDS WELCOME THE ENLIGHTENMENT OF THAT WHICH IS ONE
Complete devotion to the inward-facing senses welcomes the Enlightenment of that which is One, which immediately erases all memories of you being someone definitive. As you are not there anymore and never were, there is nobody to know how long time this takes. Besides, the Enlightenment of that which is One is not a process but one perpetual present.

But at first, it may seem to be a process, and as long as that is the case, the brain that produced your experiences as someone definitive is not finished. Thus it can be rebooted and recreate the experience of you as someone definitive. But since it takes more than one to be anything, the reestablished experience cannot contain the Enlightenment of that which is One. So although you are to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One, you look like you used to. The only difference is that you know it is not you.

However, as soon as the Enlightenment of that which is One does not seem to be a process, the brain cannot be rebooted and, therefore, not produce the experience of you as a substantial being in a tangible world. Hence there is nothing to hide that which always has been and always will be that which is you, namely the formlessness of oneness. There is, of course, nobody to be aware of this since it takes more than one to be conscious of something.

IS THE ENLIGHTENMENT OF THAT WHICH IS ONE REQUIRED TO UNDO THE BELIEF IN BEING SOMEONE?
The Enlightenment of that which is One can be said to be the last step back to the formlessness of oneness. Still, as formlessness is endless, you have never left it. Thus it is not about going back but realise how you hide the formlessness of oneness, namely by believing you are someone definitive.

As already mentioned, the Enlightenment of that which is One does that in a split second. But it can also be achieved while enjoying the world of the outward-facing senses. In the below box, there are some suggestions on how to do this:

The more you perceive the apparent differences in the world of the outward-facing senses to not make a difference, the more the outward-facing senses function as a set-off to that which is One (hack #3.2 Inclusiveness is freedom).

The same applies to pretending to be someone definitive (hack #1.3 Pretending to be someone definitive is liberation or seeing symbols of life in the world (hack #2.1 Everything experienced is a symbol of life).

And it also applies to being alone together, which does not mean that you are together with one or more who also are alone, but that you are alone together with your fantasy of a world where there seems to be more than one, no matter how many there seem to be around you (hack #7.1 Alone together, we go home).

The empty breath (HACK #5, A state of not-knowing is nothing but bliss) syncs the outward-facing senses with the inward-facing ones, so you over time are able to devote yourself so much to the glimpses of Enlightenment that they do not seem separated, wherefore the Enlightenment of that which is One sets in.

You do not even need Alexius’ Duality Hacks to have the belief in being someone undone. All that is necessary is not to remember what and where you are because then there is no belief in being someone definitive that appears to hide the formlessness of oneness.


There is no experience of love without the experience of hate, because you cannot know one without the other. Multitasking allows you to experience both emotions simultaneously, and so hate is as blissful as love. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The reason that so many avoid multitasking is that it leaves them no time to suppress anger and other feelings messing up the perfect image of themselves as somebody full of peace, compassion, inner strength and whatnot.

What they do not know, when keeping a specific feeling hidden – hate for example – is that they diminish the experience of its contrasts – in this case love – because you cannot have one without the other. See hack #4.4 The duality flow goes to non-duality.

Least of all do they know that when both sides of a contrast are equally acknowledge, their apparent difference makes no difference. Thus loving somebody is as blissful as to hate them.

Here the world of the inner senses are about to shift to bright white light, which is gonna extract all the info you have collected in order to appear as somebody and leave it at the edge at a black hole so that there is nobody to fall into the nothingness of that which is one. This is not compatible with appearing in a world, where there seems to be more than one, so if that is what you want, you better make sure the info making up your personality is not extracted or you know where to find it again. There is no transition from seeing glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One and getting into it. And since it is one perpetual present, you do not know when it extracts all the info making you appear as someone definitive so that nothing is sucked into a black hole where it gracefully falls into the formlessness of oneness. This is not compatible with appearing as someone definitive in a world defined by time and space, so if that is what you want, you better make sure that the info making up your appearance as someone definitive is not extracted which you prevent by going with the flow of fear. However, there is no fear in that which is One. It is impossible as it would require more than one. But it seems possible to imagine there is more than one, and going with the fear that this entails, you seem to leave it and instead be in a world where there seems to be more than one. MULTITASKING THE INWARD AND OUTWARD-FACING SENSES
Much devotion to the world of the inward-facing senses probably makes you spaced out in the world of the outward-facing senses. Yet, if you do not have to be present there, you go with the flow of the inward-facing senses, as if the world outside of you stands still.

But suppose you have to do something demanding in the world of the outward-facing senses. In that case, it is best to only devote yourself to that, so the abstractness of the inward-facing senses does not mess it up.

However, you can also multitask between the inner and outward-facing senses so that being loaded with glimpses of Enlightenment in the world of the inward-facing senses makes you indifferent to the constant demands in the world of the outward-facing senses.

When you multitask the world of the inner and outward-facing senses, thoughts are not considered to be yours. Thus nobody is going anywhere, even though it may appear so.

Multitasking is said to disturb the brain so that it is harder for it to focus on something specific. That is why it is beneficial regarding undoing the belief in being someone definitive  – especially the multitasking of the inner and outward-facing senses, which happens all by itself when connected with the empty breath. This is not a new religion or philosophy, that you must learn and strictly adhere to. On the contrary. It is about unlearning everything, so do not try to make sense of what you read.

A perfect moment with glimpses of enlightenment is something you are aware of. If you stop being aware of it, you cannot see any glimpse. There is nothing and that is where the enlightenment of that which is one sets in. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

WHERE DO GLIMPSES OF ENLIGHTENMENT COME FROM
Physically speaking, glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One seem to originate from a non-defined space behind the frequencies of thoughts near the pineal gland. It is probably also from there that you perceive the world when you are in a state of not-knowing.

The same applies when you pretend to be a person or perceive everything in the world as symbols of that which is One. The empty breath – sounding like sohang – is presumably picked up from there as well, physically speaking.

Furthermore, the pineal gland might work as a receiver for signals picked up by the eighth chakra, which has a magenta colour and is located above the head. Maybe the pineal gland or the eighth chakra is involved when experiencing glimpses of Enlightenment. You cannot know because you are blown out of the experience – and afterwards, you do not know where to look. And this is fine because focussing on the pineal will not bring about any of the above. It contracts the energy, so you feel boxed in as someone definitive. On the other hand, defocussing removes restrictions wherefore you do not feel limited to being someone specific.

Notes on ‘the empty breath’ [draft]

It may not always be the experience that the empty breath is your best friend because it does not help you regarding what and where you like to be. It is not easy to explain the transparent flow of bliss that the empty breath entails because it comes from the absence of experiencing being someone.

Why is nothing so blissful? Because without something there are no problems!

When connected with the empty breath, what you seem to receive from the world is always the same because you receive what you give and give what you have, namely the indifference of the empty breath.

Feeling the connectedness with the empty breath, you smile regardless you win or not because, in the flow of the empty breath, you are indifferent to becoming and getting more.

To be loved is a need that comes from the perception that differences make a difference. But since the empty breath is indifferent to differences, being loved does not make a difference when connected with it.

The function of the empty breath is not to improve the apparent condition of what and where you appear to be. That would be a replacement of one illusion with another. Instead, its function is to facilitate the undoing of the belief that there is more than that which is One.

Being connected with the empty breath, you are indifferent to the apparent differences in a world where there seems to be more than one – just like you are indifferent to the experienced differences in the world of a movie or a computer game because you know they are make-believe.

The empty breath is a life jacket you got from that which is one when you left it to be and have more than one. Of course, this is a metaphor because you have never left oneness since it is formless, thus endless. Yet, it seems possible to imagine not being there but in a world where there seems to be more than one.

This life jacket, the empty breath, loves you unconditionally. Thus it is not bothered by what and where you believe to be. Actually, it does not even know this fantasy. It can only be shared by those who want to be somebody definitive. And the empty breath has no way of being something because it is nothing, thus seeing nothing.

Thus being connected with the empty breath, every experience of something is perceived as nothing. Of course, this does not mean that you do not do anything about a broken leg, for example. But since it is seen as nothing, you do not add worries to your broken leg. Therefore, since changing or transforming something or somebody does not seem appealing, you have a laid-back life with the empty breath.

Taking deep breaths or, in any other way manipulating the breath is not beneficial when connecting with the empty breath because doing so enhances the belief in being someone in charge. The same applies to being centred, balanced, focused or something else.

It is the willingness not to hold back thoughts that connects you with the empty breath. The uncontrolled energy of thoughts ignites a take-off into the empty breath, whether you walk, sit, talk or whatnot. See Take-offs into the empty breath.

Unconfined thoughts or feelings repeatedly shoot off several at a time to ignite a take-off into the empty breath. But you stop them from doing that by defining them, so you can remain in the illusion of being someone definitive.

The more you limit yourself to being someone definitive, the more you feel like you will collapse. To prevent that, you improve your definition until you feel so constrained that you burst into anger or stop giving a shit about holding yourself together. Thus the uncontrolled energy of the suppressed thoughts and feelings ignites a take-off into the empty breath. However, it does not help you escape your cage but the belief that you are in it.

What you see on the screen is on a hard disk with nothing but zeros and ones disguised as something. Yet, it is not before the combination of zeros and ones is processed by an app into what appears to be on the screen that the nothingness of the hard disk is experienced as a tangible world that you can change.

The empty breath, which in this context is unprocessed zeros and ones, does not know that you assign special meaning to the nothingness on the screen, which, in this context, is the world, so that you appear to be someone experiencing something instead of emptiness.

All that the empty breath knows is that there is no more than the formlessness of that which is One. Thus all that it wants is to breathe nothing but emptiness into what you believe to be and see so that there does not seem to be something hiding, there never was or will be more than that which is One since it is formless, thus endless.

If the present stream of thoughts or feelings is not manipulated or suppressed, its natural energy ignites a take-off into the empty breath. You can make up stories of love or anything else in its presence without feeling deceitful to the empty breath because it sees the world where you believe to be as a blank computer screen. So although the stories you fabricate seem to disclose something, the screen remains empty.

In other words, it does not matter how you perceive the experiences produced by the brain when you are with the empty breath. You do not need the happiness from being in sync with the brain. You are in the bliss of nothing until you define it as something.

No worries, having been with the empty breath for just a split second, the slate is wiped clean. Thus you return to interacting with a world that appears to be outside of you with the perception, it is what it is.’ This perception makes you feel on the beat regardless of how you experience something.

That is until you judge specific experiences as better by not perceiving your reaction to them as ‘it is what it is’ but ‘I know what it is.’ Read more about those perceptions in hack #4.2 The brain’s script and how to perceive it to feel happy. However, this does not make you feel on the beat because hardly anything goes your way. Fortunately, if not handling this frustration, its untamed energy ignites a take-off into the empty breath.

In this way, you can go back and forth between the conscious experience of something (read more about that here) and the bliss of nothing (read more about that here) until you forget to disconnect from the bliss of nothing. Thus the Enlightenment of that which is One takes over and erases everything that requires more than one. Read more about that in hack #6.1 The Enlightenment of that which is One.

Since that which is One cannot be experienced, it is ignored by those who believe that something unexplainable is unreal. At best, it is imagined as a state of consciousness in which the self is transcended into a higher one. Oneness, however, has nothing to do with being in a state nor being conscious of something because that requires more than one. So does being someone. The empty breath is not about getting better health, more money, success, love or anything else, but seeing what you appear to be and have is nothing. Hence there does not appear to be something hiding the formlessness of oneness.

As you probably have read many times in Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings, it requires more than one to experience something and oneness is formless, thus endless, so every experience is fictional. Obviously, this also includes the experience of the empty breath. It is as unreal as any other experience.

Yet this experience, which is deeply rooted in an archetypical image of a never-ending rhythmic flow, slowly but surely undoes the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is One. Furthermore, it makes it seems unproblematic to have this belief. Not in the sense that you are not troubled by anything but indifferent to it.

If this feels confusing, do not try to get a grip on it. Instead, go with the flow of chaos until you cannot make ends meet into being someone definitive but feel as if you are about to explode, which in a sense also happens when the build-up tensions ignite a take-off into the empty breath. Since it results in a state of not-knowing, you are not bound up with the belief in being someone definitive until you leave this state and return to that belief.

Though the empty breath has no need to be remembered by you, doing so is beneficial for your well-being as someone definitive and the undoing of belief in being that.

The empty breath automatically syncs the outer and the inward-facing senses, so it feels good to believe to be in a world where there seems to be more than one while it undoes that belief.

A state of not-knowing does not only come from the empty breath. It is the outcome of all duality hacks. But if the state is always the same cannot be known because nobody is conscious of it.

The changeover to a state of not-knowing may seem unpleasant. This is because the brain tries to distract you from leaving its definable world by producing very tangible and disturbing experiences, making you feel attacked and thus as if you are someone definitive. Following the empty breath, you automatically multitask because it does not know the concept of focusing on something specific. So when you do not feel the empty breath, multitasking will make you feel it.

 

Entering a state of not-knowing (see ‘A state of not-knowing,’ and how to get there) only takes a second. It happens automatically when you have lost all hope of fixing your problems because that makes their uncontrolled energy ignite a take-off into the empty breath. When you leave a state of not-knowing, the slate has been wiped clean (see The after-effect of a state of not-knowing). Therefore, since you perceive everything as ‘it is what it is‘ (see hack #4.2 The brain’s script and how to perceive it to feel happy), you have nothing to hope for. Thus, you are free.

When you hike, you need to take a break once in a while from the adventurous experiences. And so you do when in the conscious experience of being someone. Thus you connect with the empty breath to enter a state of not-knowing. And leaving it, you start renewed – or rather re-established – because the slate has been wiped clean.

What does ‘the empty breath’ feel like?

The inner breath is not restricted to be felt as a specific form, neither to only be felt inside. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Since the empty breath is not definitive, you cannot experience it in a specific way. Yet, it can be felt in undefinable ways anywhere within its non-definitive framework – whether that appears to be inside or outside the body – but never consistently the same, although it is always there.

You can feel the empty breath in many ways within its non-definable frame of a ball-like thingy,  which top passes through the head – or above it – and the bottom through the stomach or below it. It is not explicitly experienced inside or outside the body, so it is not an out-of-body experience. Besides, such an experience is based on the belief in being someone in a body, and the empty breath undoes this idea. Read more about that here. Hence it is a no-body experience. This does not mean that you do not take care of the body and the world around it when connected with the empty breath, but that you are indifferent to the outcome.

In the connectedness with the empty breath there is nothing that appears disturbing. But trying to connect with it everything seems disturbing, because the purpose of trying to do something is to delay do it. Thus you want to be disrupted.

The inner breath has no definitive center or anything else in a fixed position, so your experience of it may be different from mine. Maybe you primarily experience it in the stomach, in the chest or both inside and outside of your body within the non definitive borders of a ball. It may change from moment to moment, as  – unlike this image – it is not static. This image however illustrates when all its movements are experienced simultaneously, which feels as if the everything stands still.

The empty breath has no definitive centre or border or anything else in a fixed position. Everything is constantly moving, so the experience changes from moment to moment. Maybe it is felt in the stomach or chest or outside the body. Should your experience differ from Alexius’ description, go with the flow as it comes to you.

FEELINGS ARE SUBJECTIVE
If you are future-minded, you might experience the empty breath coming from in front of you, whereas it probably is felt to arrive from the back if you are concerned about the past. And if you are into the concepts like living in the now, being centred and balanced, it might be felt as if it has a fixed centre. In other words, the experience of the empty breath is coloured by your conditioning.

This is not a problem for the empty breath because contrary to you, it does not need to be acknowledged in a particular way. So whether you experience it to be in the stomach, the chest, or outside the body, it carries out its purpose, which is to make you indifferent to your experiences.

The empty breath is indifferent to all the apparent differences of the world, so the more you connect with it, the more you adapt to its indifference and the less you want to be someone who makes a difference.

Since the empty breath is not static, its experience may quickly change and differ from those described in this article. No worries. Connecting with it is not about doing something specific to feel something definitive but going with the flow. You only feel obliged to do ‘the right thing’ when you want to make a difference.

A BASIC INTRO TO THE NON-DEFINITIVE SHAPE OF THE THE EMPTY BREATH
The empty breath is modelled like an egg-shaped ball with oval circles moving inside it. But contrary to what you see in the illustration to the right, it does not have a definitive centre or border. Nor do the circles inside it. They are countless and all have two waves shaped like a yin-yang sign inside them. You cannot see those waves in the simplified illustration to the right but in the second image from here.

That the empty breath has a non-definitive form does not only mean that its edges are blurry but that neither size nor shape is constant. It may get bigger and smaller here and there so that it momentarily feels more pear than egg-shaped. It has no up and down, and the apparent centre of each of the circles inside the non-definitive ball of the empty breath is floating, so there are many non-fixed centres.

The innumerable amount of diffused shaped circles inside the non-definitive boundaries of the empty breath is located vertically and horizontally plus in between, with each of them having yin-yang-shaped waves inside them. But the circles are actually fused into one yin-yang-shaped movement rolling in all directions – a bit like in the animation in the paragraph The swing of the empty breath or the two last animations of this article.

However, since that is very difficult to comprehend in a world where we are conditioned to divide reality into more than one, most probably do not feel the totality of the empty breath but one of the many circles inside it. No worries. It is not about perfection but going with the flow as it comes to you.

The empty breath has no specific centre, and though it seems to consist of many different movements in their size and shape, everything is fused into one single move. But since this can be hard to comprehend in a world where there seems to be more than one, it is most likely easier to experience just one of its aspects at a time.

Maybe it comes in a circle going vertically from the stomach around the back of the body to the top of the head when breathing in, and from there in a circular movement in front of the body and back to the stomach when breathing out. The direction, however, does not matter. As already said, it is all about going with the flow. So if it seems to go the opposite way, by all means, follow it.

The flow can also be in a circle, about the same diameter as above, that instead goes from the abdomen to the throat or rectum to the heart. But the circle can also expand its diameter, so it goes from the abdomen to a point above the head or from the rectum further above the head. Since the latter circle metaphorically goes from hell to heaven, you may feel frightened or spaced out if you get stuck in one of those extremes. See hack #4.4 The duality flow goes to non-duality.

These are just samples. You may experience the circle bigger or smaller, for example from the heart to a point above the head. Or perhaps you feel it somewhere else, for example from the left to the right side of you or anywhere between this and the location mentioned above. You could also feel it horizontally. But no matter where you perceive the empty breath, it is the same emptiness you experience a second before the brain processes it into an experience of something perceived as substantial (read more about that here).

Going with the flow of the circular movement in one of the above circles feels like you are surfing two yin-yang-like waves inside the empty breath. But this is just one way to experience the empty breath. Below is a short introduction to ways of feeling it, then a more detailed description of each of them.

Be aware that feeling the empty breath, as described in this article, is only possible to the extent that you do not wish to be or have more because the empty breath has nothing to give but the sheer bliss of emptiness.

A BASIC INTRO TO WAYS OF FEELING THE EMPTY BREATH
Sensing the operator of the empty breath (see the below paragraph of the same name) or the indifference of it (see the section The empty breath is not the giver of joy and happiness but indifference in the article The indifference of the empty breath wash out conditioning) is a state of not-knowing in which you seem to float on clouds of bliss. In contrast, the state of not-knowing coming from the rhythmic flow of the empty breath is more like being moved by clouds of bliss.

The rhythmic flow can be heard as a distant sound (see the below paragraph The transparent sound of the empty breath) or felt inside the body (see the below section The swing of the empty breath), or sensed as if nobody is surfing the two yin-yang-like waves in and outside the body (see the next paragraph).

These categories are not meant to limit you to experience the empty breath like that, but to inspire you to go with its flow.

Each of the non-definable circles inside the cloudy ball of the empty breath – see the previous illustration – consists of two free-flowing yin-yang-like-looking waves (without holes). They govern the physical breath, so it is not about following the extraction and contraction of the physical breath but the flow of the empty breath. It may feel like you are surfing the outside of the two yin-yang-like waves, more or less in sync with the physical breath. The colours in this image only have an illustrative purpose.

SURFING THE EMPTY BREATH
In the illustration with the red circles pictured above to the right, you see a simplified simulation of the empty breath. You cannot see that the number of circles inside it is endless. Nor does the illustration reflect that the empty breath has no definitive border or centre, and each of the circles inside it contains two non-definitive waves that you can surf. The waves look like a yin-yang sign without the holes (see the above image). They are colourless, so the colours in this image and the others in the article only have an illustrative purpose.

When the breath expands the body, you surf the outside of the yellow wave vertically from the stomach and behind the body up into the head. From there, you surf the outside of the blue wave in front of the body down to the stomach while the breath is contracting the body. That is, if you are sensing the waves in a circle going vertically from the back to the front of the body.

In the above intro to the empty breath, there is a more detailed explanation of how the circles containing the waves are arranged. As mentioned there, the circle can be smaller and bigger, and the direction does not matter. And besides surfing the two yin-yang-like waves in a vertical circle, you can surf the waves in a horizontal circle or anywhere in between.

No need to be in total sync with the rhythm of the physical expansion and contraction of the body, nor does it matter if part of the circular movement is skipped. What matters is to follow the flow as it comes to you. Doing that, you forget the physical breath. Hence it can take care of itself without you trying to inflict it with ideas of wholeness, balance and whatnot.

Maybe the most ecstatic way to surf the waves is to go the whole way around one of them and then continue by going the entire way around the other, more or less aligned with the breath extracting and contracting the body. However, many other joyous ways may be revealed when you go with the flow.

Alexius has never been surfing in the world of the outward-facing senses, so when he says going with the flow of the two yin-yang like waves in the empty breath feels like surfing, it is something he imagines based on pictures.

As already said, you can surf the waves of the empty breath in both directions. Going counterclockwise tends to lessen physical awareness, so you become less interested in returning to the conscious experience of being someone substantial in a tangible world. The same applies if the non-definable edges of the empty breath are not experienced to pass through the head but on top of it and below the abdomen.

That sets the body free, so it can follow its biological system without you trying to integrate the body with mental ideas of wellness, which is like trying to blend the material world with the immaterial world of a dream or vice versa. Since it takes more than one to feel something, it is only in a world where there seems to be more than one it is possible to feel something. Thus the more the belief in such a world is undone by the empty breath, the less you feel it.

SURFING THE EMPTY BREATH TO HEAL YOUR PROBLEMS
Alexius usually join the flow of the empty breath without thinking about direction and whatnot because, in his case, it primarily results in the sense of indifference. However, it is possible to be pickier. For example, if you worry about the past or feel pain in the back, you can get a massage by continuously surfing the whole wave behind you and leaving out the wave in front of you in a vertical circle.

Should you want to be grounded, you surf the full horizontal wave in the lower half of a vertical circle passing through the abdomen or even lower in the direction from the back to the front of you. You could also choose the bottom wave in a vertical circle going from the left to the right side of you – or the wave in the lower half in one or more circles between the two others mentioned. No reason to memorise this. Just go with the flow.

Just like what you believe in being is nothing, so is the empty breath. But unlike you, it has no need to conceal its nothingness by appearing as something specific. Consequently, there is not something that prevents it from being what and where is most beneficial for you – even under your feet if that is what it takes to make you see you are a fantasy made from nothing.

Suppose you want to enhance being impulsive or deliberate. In that case, you respectively surf all the way around the wave to the right and the left inside a horizontal circle going around the head. In a circle that also is horizontal but around the chest, you can surf all the way around the wave in front of the chest to ease the restricted feeling in the chest caused by imagined emotions there. Surfing both waves but only on the side aligned with a horizontal circle around the head or stomach is excellent in the case of vertigo.

Should you have tight hips, blocked abdomen or spasm in the lower back, you surf the whole wave behind you and then the one in front of you in a horizontal circle in that area. You could also try surfing in a similar circle where the waves are not behind and in front of you but on your sides. The size of the circle, thus the waves, adjust to the need for relaxing these areas. Should this release sadness, you may feel like crying. If so, forget about the empty breath and take the time to grieve. Then return to the same circle of the empty breath if that is what the flow calls for.

Sometimes problems like spasms are the body’s way of shaking parts of it into a position that benefits the whole. In such case, spasms should not be healed, of course. But if that is not the case, you can use the empty breath to calm down the spasms.

It may call for surfing another combination of other waves, for example the whole wave in front of you in a horizontal circle going around the abdomen and a complete wave in front of you in a vertical circle from the head to the stomach or the other way. Maybe surfing them simultaneously or whatever seems beneficial regarding getting through the problematic areas.

The empty breath is also beneficial for alleviating allergy symptoms or the symptoms of IBS and COPD, for example. However, it may not heal these or the aforementioned physical sicknesses because Alexius’ Duality Hacks aims not to heal the body but the sick belief that you are in it. Read more about that here. But since that frees the body from your domination, it can often heal itself. That said, if you want that, it is best not to use the empty breath but instead be used by it and trust it gives you what is in your best interest.

You cannot illustrate the inner breath, as it has no definitive form. This animation, however, may give you an idea about the ´structure´ of the inner breath and the high frequency of its inner movement, which seems to originate from an yin yang like curved line – not just as curved though. It feels like, it is the swing of this floating line that expands and contracts the body, so that it breathes in and out. Unlike an yin yang sign the inner breath is not a flat circle with a curved line, but rather a ball wherein the curved line swings upwards and downwards as well as sideways, forwards and backwards and everything in between. Unfortunately the animation is not able illustrate that, neither how slow the swing of it actually feels in the body. Even though it extremely active inside the ball, the experience of it is that it has all the time in the world to expand and contract the body.

It is impossible to illustrate the swing of the empty breath because it has no definable form or movement. However, this animation may give you an idea about how the swing of it feels like it comes from the blurred curved line between the two shapes of a yin-yang sign – but less curved. The swing of this line expands and contracts the body so that it breathes in and out. But unlike in a yin-yang sign, the swing of the empty breath is not inside a flat circle but a non-definable ball, in which there are many similar circles with each their curved line. Depending on where one of these circles is experienced to be located, the swing of the empty breath is experienced to swing upwards and downwards, sideways, forwards and backwards or anywhere in between. Unfortunately, the animation is not really illustrating this. Although the swing of it is magnificent, its experience often is that it is very laid-back in expanding and contracting the body.

THE SWING OF THE EMPTY BREATH
What is said above about surfing the empty breath generally also applies to feeling the swing of it, except that this is solely felt inside the body. There the movement of the non-definitive curved line between the two yin-yang-like waves is sensed as a swing that extracts and contracts the body in a steady rhythmic flow of breathing in and out. Due to the definitive size of the body, this line feels less curved and probably also shorter than the line in between the two waves described above.

The steady swing of the empty breath may seem to expand and contract the body slower than when you imagined being in charge of the breath. Maybe the break in between expansion and contraction also feels too long. But the swing of the empty breath probably feels more powerful – so much indeed that at first, it feels like the body does not have enough room for it.

Surfing the empty breath is done on the waves in any of the circles within the non-definitive border of the empty breath, whereas the swing of it is the movement of the curved line between the two yin-yang-like waves in any of the circles.

In other words, the curved line is not just pumping from the back to front concerning the body but also up and down, from side to side and everywhere in between, which you may sense in the illustration to the left. Though you can feel all these directions simultaneously, it probably is so unfamiliar that you may prefer to feel the swing of the empty breath in one circle at a time.

The circles with the swing of the empty breath are more egg-shaped (see the illustration). But you will not notice that because it is only the swing of the curved line inside inside ‘the egg’ that you feel, probably in a way that does not seem logical. Breathing in, you may solely experience the swing of the empty breath in the bottom of ‘the egg’ and breathing out, in the top of it – or the other way around, or only in the bottom, or the top. You can also experience the whole curved line going back and forth or up and down simultaneously.

Like the other ways of feeling the empty breath, it presupposes you acknowledge you are not in control. Using the technique for the taste of life, you automatically lose control because, whether you taste it or not, the method is beneficial for defocusing. And without focus, you are out of control. If you experience the swing of the empty breath in all the egg-shaped circles simultaneously, the fusion of them at first feels as if everything is spinning. See the speedy animation just below. But it quickly becomes a feeling of everything standing so still – see the third image from here – that you feel the bliss of being indifferent to what and where you appear to be.

Connecting to the inner breath is fortunately not about perfection, as that requires much control and therefore blocks the inner breath to move on its own accord. The inner breath is always connected to you, but you cannot feel it if your purpose is to be someone definitive. In other words not being anybody the inner breath is not hidden. In fact it is very intense.

The swing of the empty breath is not felt as fast as the movements in this animation, but rather like a steady ongoing rhythm with much force that expands and contracts the body. Yet the resulting breath in the body is often very subtle. It probably seems slower than you are used to – unlike the operator of the empty breath, which is a rush of energy within the non-definable ball. Even though the particles of this force are moving completely unstructured and at any speed, fast or slow – a bit like in this animation – it is such a relief to merge with this apparent chaos because that prevents you from focussing on anything specific. Hence you feel like a fountain sparkling with joy.

THE OPERATOR OF THE EMPTY BREATH
Besides feeling the swing of the empty breath or as if you are surfing yin-yang-like waves more or less in alignment with the extraction and contraction of the physical breath, you can also feel a constant rush of energy within the non-definable border of the empty breath. This chaotic energy is not rhythmic but irregular at the root of the empty breath. Yet, it is the force behind the constant rhythm of the empty breath. The feeling of it is a subtle sense of being here and everywhere, or as if spinning through a world with no limits and where you are not defined as someone.

There are no rules, but it could very well be that a take-off into the empty breath will take you to this aspect of it – and what a relief it is to float in chaos instead of having to fit into the rigid world of the outward-facing senses.

Unlike the swing of the empty breath, but like surfing its waves, this force is sensed inside and outside the body. It is often easier to feel its subtle but erratic energy outside of the body, where the dense bodily feeling is not an obstacle. If you do not try to catch its abstractness but go with its fleetness, you feel like a fountain of sparkling joy.

Sensing the operator of the empty breath outside of the body, you will automatically be taken inside, as the operator does not know one from the other. From there you probably are transferred to the rhythmic flow of surfing or feeling the swing of the empty breath.

The apparent chaos at the root of the empty breath, where the operator of it resides and where you often land after igniting the empty breath, is therefore a good starting point, when you want to be in the rhythmic flow of the empty breath.

If you, out of habit, try to focus on the empty breath to hear its transparent sound (see the next paragraph) or feel its rhythmic flow, you are bound to perceive it as something and thus fence it off. A more beneficial way to approach the rhythmic flow and transparent sound of the empty breath is to start in the chaos of its root – whether sensed in front or back of the body, on top of it or all around it – because that leaves nothing specifically for you to focus on, wherefore there is not something definitive blocking out hearing or feeling the rhythmic flow of the empty breath.

THE TRANSPARENT SOUND OF THE EMPTY BREATH
Just like the rhythm of bass is heard and felt in the body, so is the sound of the empty breath, which is like ‘so’ when it expands the body and ‘ham’ when it contracts it.

Sometimes it is like this rhythmic sound of ‘so-ham’ comes from the nose but at other times, it is sensed from an undefined space in the back of the head. And then again, the sound does not seem to have a definable location, so it is neither experienced to be inside nor outside the head. It may even appear to originate from an invisible space outside the body like it has nothing to do with the body.

And as that is actually so, feeling the sound of the empty breath is not a compelling experience like feeling the rhythm of the bass because it cancels out the feeling of being in a body – as if there is no definable border between the body and its apparent surrounding. A sofa, for example, does not seem to differ from the body sitting in it.

This is because you do not perceive bodily experience as specific when you are deeply connected with the empty breath (read more about that here). Thus there is no inside and outside and nothing to define a world where there seems to be more than one, wherefore it becomes evident that it is unreal. But like the reality in the world of a game is the same whether you know it is fictional, the reality of a world where there seems to be more than one remains the same even though you sense it is an illusion. However, your relationship with it changes. Being someone in such a world is all pretence – like it is, within that reality, when you pretend to be in the world of a game. Do not get attached to the rhythm of the empty breath, because the feeling of the rhythm is related to the body, so it stops when the body does not function anymore.

Since a rhythm has a beginning and an end, it is best not to get attached to the rhythm of the empty breath, because it ends when the body stops to function. At that moment, it is better to merge with the indifference of the empty breath or the non rhythmic and very chaotic energy in its operator, so there is not something specific to stop the Enlightenment of that which is One from absorbing the nothingness of you.

Via the transparent sound of the empty breath, you naturally float into glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One. The visual-minded will experience this as visions of light, and the auditory-minded as ethereal harmonies. However, if you are more emotional-minded, you may feel the vibration that Aum, Sohang, and The Word of God symbolise or taste its sweetness. The glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One are revealed as the Enlightenment of that which is One if not interpreted to differ from each other. See the article The four aspects of Enlightenment and how to sample them.

The connection with the empty breath is a state of not-knowing. Therefore, since there is no notion of separation, the apparent difference between past, now and future or you and Alexius does not make a difference.

It is not possible to illustrate the inner breath in its totality. This yon yang animation (please abstract from the holes) though may give you an idea of the simultaneously movement of the two waves inside the inner breath.

THE CONNECTEDNESS WITH THE EMPTY BREATH IS A STATE OF NOT-KNOWING
Nobody really knows what the connectedness with the empty breath feels like because it is a state of not-knowing. So Alexius had to go back and forth between a state of not-knowing and the conscious experience of being someone to compile distant memories of how the empty breath feels. Hence, his writing about it may seem patchy and confusing. If so, do not try to correct your disorientation but use it to ignite a take-off into the empty breath. The empty breath is not only to be experienced within its border, because it has no specific border, so if you experience it somewhere else, you have really become indifferent to the belief in being someone definitive, as only as such would you expect to experience it somewhere specific.

Please remember that even though the connectedness with the empty breath is impersonal, your memory of it is personal. Therefore, you may have different memories from those of Alexius.

If still confused, you are welcome to mail Alexius, although using your uncertainty to ignite a take-off into the empty breath is preferable because he can help neither you nor himself as he sees nobody in need of help.

Thus, you better read about it until you can hardly stay awake. Then go to bed, forget what you read, close your eyes, and most likely, you feel the empty breath one way or another. Indeed, the feeling will rapidly change. That is, if you do not try to hang onto one of them. In that case, you miss the empty breath.

However, your eyes do not have to be closed, and you do not have to go to bed to connect with the empty breath. And you can sit anywhere in any position. You can also walk, run or talk. But you cannot bring about the empty breath by manipulating the physical breath or exercising any other form of control. Instead, it is the other way around. When you go with the flow, the empty breath joins you.

A bicycle has nothing to do with the place, it is transporting you to.

This is not to say that techniques cannot be helpful with toning down the experience of you as someone definitive so that the apparent existence of you in a tangible world does not seem to be a fact but make-believe. But unfortunately, most forget that techniques have nothing to do with what they seem to accomplish. Just like a remote control have nothing to do with the music, it triggers.

The look of these sound waves reminds me in some ways of how it feels to be connected with the inner breath.

In most cases, you do not have to read Alexius’ Duality Hacks in a particular order. But in the case of this article, you may benefit from having read hack #4.1 The basic self versus the special one.

When you perceive your reaction to an experience as ‘it is what it is,’ you are in sync with the brain’s script. But if you start to analyse your response and conclude, ‘I know what it is,’ you are not in sync. However, you cannot know anything because you do not know what you are, nor ever will, since you are a fantasy of the brain. Read about the brain’s script in hack #4.1 The basic self versus the special one.

There is no meaning in your experiences, nor are they yours. It is an illusion created by the brain, which generates all experiences to make the self that it has fabricated believe it sees, hears, feels and tastes something outside of itself. It is easy to deceive the self into believing this because if not, there is nothing to confirm its existence.

The experiences you believe in having will continue as scripted by the brain, regardless of how you perceive them. But since the brain loves you and thus injects you with shots of happiness, it is in your own best interest your perception is in sync with the brain because otherwise, you do not notice the shots.

If you want a break from the brain, you perceive the experiences it produces as ‘dunno what it is.’ Hence you enter into a state of not-knowing and its bliss of nothing. However, this does not mean the brain’s script changes but that you are indifferent to it because there is no need to be confirmed as somebody.

The more you perceive your responses to your experiences as ‘it is what it is,’ the more carefree you feel. Perhaps so much that your perception automatically changes to ‘dunno what it is,’ which may bring about glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One. You do not have to use the same phrases for the perceptions mentioned in HACK #4 When you begin to live by duality, it is going to end to participate in the game of duality, deny it, take a break, or totally forget it. Instead of saying ‘it is what it is,’ you could say ‘shit happens,’ or ‘so what.’ As long as the essence is alike, the perception works the same. That said, the perception ‘I know what it is’ only works in the sense that it makes you feel special. You are still what and where the brain wants you to be, which you do not try to change when you go with the perception, ‘it is what it is.’

You leave the brain’s script by choosing the perception ’dunno what it is,’ you leave the brain’s script. Not in a sense that you are not what and where the brain has planned, but you do not perceive your experience of it as something because you are in the bliss of nothing.

To uphold the perception ‘I know what it is,’ you got to suppress your actual response to an experience. Still, it never works as intended because you are not all-seeing and knowing. The two other perceptions do not involve denial. On the contrary, your response to something cannot be perceived as ‘it is what it is’ or ‘dunno what it is’ if you deny your reaction. Yet, they do not work if you intend to get something over and done.

However, this can be solved by perceiving the response to your plan as ‘it is what it is.’ It flushes out any idea of achieving something specific. On the other hand, if your response is perceived as ‘dunno what it is,’ there is not something to accomplish because you are in the bliss of nothing.

Do not hide your reaction to something by making a story in which you are unimpressed or detached. Instead, feel your response, so you can decide what it means and perceive that as ‘it is what is.’ This expands the interpretation of your reaction, so it is not limited to you being angry, for example, but complemented with being calm. Since twofoldness makes you feel fulfilled, you have no urge to uphold a single-minded image of yourself. Thus, sooner or later, you forget what and where you are, which is the invitation the Enlightenment of that which is One has been waiting for. When your reaction to something is sadness, and it is perceived as ‘it is what it is,’ you also get happiness. First of all, everything comes in pairs in a world of duality. But also, if something has not made you happy at some point, it cannot make you sad. For example, when your cat dies, your sadness is related to the happiness you felt when it was alive.

Should you, instead, make the perception ‘I know what it is,’ when your cat dies and what you believe to know is this is sad, you must exclude gladness to prove you are exclusively sad. But without gladness, sadness cannot be defined. Therefore, since what you believe in knowing to feel is a thought-up concept of sadness, it is fake.

Just like the twofoldness of breathing in and out makes you feel alive, you feel fulfilled when psychological duality pairs, such as love and hate, dynamically interact. However, since this interaction takes away the sense of control, most choose to separate hate from love by projecting romanticised love onto one person and iron-fisted hate onto another. Insisting on this division, they miss the joy of togetherness because it does not come from a singular but dualistic feeling.

But they get that joy when the meaning they have assigned to hatred is perceived as ‘it is what it is.’ For example, if they have classified hate as weakness, this perception reveals it is paired with strength. And this polarity, like any other, brings about the joy of togetherness. Thus there is no need to project a pleasant image of love or an unpleasant one of hate onto others. Consequently, others are free from the conceptual way you used to look at them.

A feeling can only be known when explained. And since that makes it mental, you are benumbed when your perception is ‘I know what it is,’ To make up for that, you indulge in stories of a better future.

To perceive anything as ‘I know what it is’ is as crazy as thinking you know where you are in a dream. You are nowhere but in your bed.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

In a computer game, everything is predetermined. No matter what you choose to do, the subsequent events are prearranged, likewise in a world of duality. You can choose between different stories going on inside your head. But regardless of which one you settle for, it carries on as scripted by the brain. You cannot change that. However, you are free to perceive your reaction to it as you see fit.

If your perception is that ‘it is what it is,’ it is experienced as two-fold. And since you are in a world of duality, you feel unified with it. But if you perceive your reaction as I know what it is,’ it is seen as singular, thus separated from duality. Hence you do not feel together but alone. Unfortunately, most think the solution to this is to get rid of duality.

Yet, it is the other way around. Playing the game of duality, you confirm non-duality because it is formless, thus endless, so there is no other reason for the experience of duality. Thus you feel connected.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The special self always makes an explanation that seems to confirm the perception ‘I know what it is.’ This enhances its conditioned view of the world and the fear of being wrong. But if you do not try to explain anything, you never need to correct or deny something to maintain you are right. Since ‘It is what it is,’ you have nothing to worry about.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

When you do not identify yourself as definitive but relative to the present moment, there is no need to make specific opinions to confirm you are someone definitive. Thus every moment is the perfect moment. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

If you do not feel complete, you have been messing with the duality pairs by perceiving their opposing parts as items independent of each other. Since that is your choice, you can undo it to feel complete. Read more about choosing in hack #2.2 Choosing or not. Having done that a few times, you establish every moment is the perfect moment regardless of what and where you appear to be. In other words, if your car breaks down in the middle of nowhere, you do not wait for a better moment. This one is perfect as it is.

As that means you never wait for something better, the continuation of duality, eventually, comes to an end. Hence it does not appear to be hiding, there never was or will be anything but non-duality.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Since your internal comments about the world generally are singular, therefore cut off from their complementary part, you appear to judge yourself and others as incomplete. Consequently, you get the urge to improve something to feel complete.

Yet nobody but yourself has made the single-minded comments about what is right and wrong that seem to establish what one can do. Fortunately, these rules do not need to be identified to set yourself and others free from your confinement. Instead, you perceive your present comment about somebody as ‘it is what it is.’ This reveals your opinion is not singular but twofold. Perhaps you do not catch the elements of this duality pair because their interaction, like breathing in and out, feels so natural that you cannot help but laugh, while new duality pairs, like waves in the ocean, hastily but without haste, wash away your narrow-minded opinions.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The perception ‘dunno what it is’ surpasses duality rapidly, wherefore you enter a state of not-knowing. The same applies to being inclusive (hack #3.2 Inclusiveness is freedom). But surpassing duality, you cannot last as someone in a world of duality for more than 20 minutes, 45 at most. So if you go on in such a world while gently undoing the belief you are there, better go with the duality flow, which is revealed by the perception ‘it is what it is.’ See this hack. You could also jump into a perfect moment (see hack #3.1 Every moment is the perfect moment). Or apply hack #1.3 Pretending to be someone definitive is liberation or hack #2.1 Everything experienced is a symbol of life.

These three hacks, like the perception it is what it is,are based on the acknowledgement of duality, so, contrary to a state of not knowing, they do not surpass it until you have applied them for so long that you do not remember what and where you appear to be.

If you concentrate a lot, you might sense something that appears to be a person in this image. And if you extend this experience by imagining how the person is, you may think you experience something real. But if you do not focus on seeing something specific, you will not experience anything definable in this image that can define you as someone definitive. Thus you are well on your way back to that which is One because there is nobody in the picture – nor is somebody looking at it. PREFACE:
In a world of duality, everything comes in pairs, such as physical and non-physical. The opposing elements in a pair depend on each other. For example, you cannot breathe out without breathing in and vice versa. Although it is unrealistic to mix the elements in a duality pair, it is common to believe that you can integrate physical and non-physical issues. However, it is like trying to blend breathing in and out. You fuck up duality.

That said, since non-duality is formless, thus endless, duality is a fantasy. Hence everything in a world of duality, regardless of appearing to be physical or not, is as airy as a dream. In other words, it is only within the context of duality that it seems something is substantial or unsubstantial. But since you assume to be someone reading something, you believe to be in a world of duality.

You cannot undo that belief if you do not live by it. Thus it is best not to separate or combine the opposing elements of a duality pair but respect their interdependency. But since it is a common belief that physical and non-physical issues can be connected, this hack explores how to correct that mistake.

PART 1:
Have you ever looked at a painting of persons and sensed their emotions? What you perceive to be there is make-believe because nobody is in the picture. Nevertheless, imagination can make it appear as if something happens in a lifeless painting.

Depending on the thoughts projected onto the persons appearing to be in a painting, you will experience them negatively or positively. And if you believe they cause this experience, not you, it feels like the people in the picture are alive. But it is a fantasy. There is nobody but you. And that is also a fantasy because it takes more than one to be somewhere, and there is no more than that which is One since it is formless, thus endless.

This illustrates that what and where you experience being is made from fragments of things you imagine to see outside of oneness. But it does not explain who imagines seeing this? It is impossible because there is nothing outside of oneness since it is endless, nor is there something inside it, as that calls for more than one. Therefore, as nobody experiences something, there is no reasonable way to explain why somebody seems to be reading this written by somebody else. If it could be explained, it would be authentic.

That is why so many like to ask, Who am I? They reckon their question validates their existence. But this is as crazy as to ask who this article’s writer is and assume the author exists in it. There is nobody in it, neither in the world where you believe in being because reality is that which is One, and it takes more than one to be somewhere.

But here we are – or appear to be – in a world where there seems to be more than one. So what to do about it? Nothing because doing something is what makes you appear real.

This does not mean that the problems that seem to arise in a world where there seems to be more than one should be unattended. But since the brain is the author of this fiction, it is the brain, not you, that does something. The belief that you are the master comes from the wish to make a difference, for example by getting rid of orange peel, obtaining six-packs, integrating the body with higher energies or something else that goes against the body’s nature.

Nevertheless, if you wish to help, you can make it easier for the body – and yourself since you believe to be inside it – by not projecting ideas of perfection onto the body but keep them in the mental sphere where thoughts are fleeting. Hence they do not seem to push you into manifesting them. Therefore, since the mental and physical reality is kept apart, your appearance as someone substantial in a tangible world feels so pleasant that you do not feel like improving the body and leaving it behind when the time comes.

When you denigrate others to make yourself feel good, you live in constant fear of retaliation. Hence you turn the body into a weapon of defence or attack by respectively keeping your shoulders deadlocked in a backwards or forward position.

But this makes the muscles inflexible, wherefore they, eventually, start to ache. The solution to your attack on the body is to acknowledge, you have chosen hurt it. By doing that, the body is not to blame. Thus it relaxes.

PART 2:
In the mental sphere, you perceive yourself as someone in a body defined by time and space. But since that which is you is formless, thus without beginning and end, it is painful to be reduced to someone limited by time and space.

Nevertheless, it is pain that makes you feel you are someone in a material world. When you pinch yourself to determine whether you are dreaming, the experience of pain makes you decide that you are a substantial being in a tangible world.

Since your existence, therefore, is bracketed together with pain, you need to suffer to feel alive. And since being someone in a world defined by time and space is based on separating yourself from the formlessness of oneness, disassociating is also what you resort to in making the pain bearable. Thus you hide the worst part of it, the psychological distress, from your awareness by projecting it onto the body. As a side effect, it appears more real when the projection eventually seems to cause physical discomfort.

Somehow you sense the pain experienced in the body comes from somewhere else. But instead of acknowledging that you projected it onto the body, you choose to blame somebody else for the discomfort. To deal with that, you turn into a weapon of defence or attack against the world by keeping the shoulders pushed forward into a defensive position or pushed back into a place of constant readiness to attack.

This makes you feel safer and as if you are in control. Especially if you push one of the shoulders upwards to constrict that area further. It prevents the signals in the body from passing through the blockage to the brain, maybe not totally but ever so slightly is enough for you to believe the brain is defeated, so you can take over as the boss and mentally decide what is going on in the body. Since this distance you from what you feel, it seems less frightening than when the brain deals with the body’s feelings.

Women tend to allow the body’s flow of emotions to reach the brain. But they prevent the expression of feelings processed by the brain by replacing them with a mental story in which a woman is the expert of emotions, both her own and others. Her made-up insight she uses to manipulate others into acknowledging her as a unique and caring person.

Generally, men also want to be acknowledged as unique. So they prevent the body’s flow of emotions from reaching the brain. Thus men can make up a story where they, like heroes, do the right thing regardless of feelings. Unfortunately, this way of hiding their feelings stiffens the left side of the body, whereas the woman’s approach hardens the right side. There are many opinions about how to restore the body. But since the disruption is caused by the idea that you can control your body, the problem is not in it but in the mental sphere, where there is a basic notion of not being good enough as you are.

The brain loves when its experiences make you believe you are something, so you do not discover what you experience is fantasy it has made from nothing.

This is a misunderstanding based on the perception that you are someone definitive and not dual. But suppose you do not suppress your singular reaction to something. In that case, your response can be perceived as ‘it is what it is,’ which reveals that feeling abandoned, for example, is complemented by feeling supported because everything comes in pairs in a world of duality. Hence you feel complete as you are.

Ultimately, you are not dual, nor something else, because reality is non-dual and it takes more than one to be anything. But like you adjust to the concept of a computer game, you adjust to polarity when playing the game of duality.

Therefore, since you do not need to interfere with the body’s flow of feelings, they are not blocked from the brain. And since it has the blueprint of the body, it knows how to restore it. However, this does not mean you disregard common sense. You can assist by softening the body via far-infrared heating pads, giving it a massage with rollers from Blackroll, and energising it with Nordic Walking. To ensure there are no serious problems with internal organs, you may have to consult a qualified physician. Read more about taking care of the body here.

Maybe the physical symptoms caused by your abuse of the body will never be entirely fixed. But if the remaining problems are perceived like the basic self would do, namely as ‘it is what it is,’ you do not experience these limitations as something to prevent you from feeling complete. Thus you can have the belief in being someone definitive undone while enjoying it.

PART 3:
To disassociate yourself from feeling anger inside you, you exclude the feeling from your awareness by dumping it in the body’s darkness. At least, this is how a psychologist explains it. But immaterial issues cannot be hidden in something material –like you cannot hide the wind inside a wall. So what actually happens is that you combine psychological pain with physical pain in the back, for example.

When you once have concluded your anxiety is caused by physical pain, you by reflex look for the same connection every time you are worried. Hence you automatically search the body for a flaw that can explain you feel worried. That is until you do not try to explain away your worries, but perceive them as ‘it is what it is.’

This reveals your anxiety is in constant interaction with pleasure to define each other. Therefore, since feeling worried includes being delighted and vice versa, there is no need to get rid of your worries to feel good. On the contrary, you need your worries to feel geniuly delighted

So since the irritation coming from the psychological problem is experienced to be the same as the discomfort coming from a physical issue in the back, the psychological problem seems to have disappeared. That is why you, hereafter, automatically combine an immaterial problem with a material one to make it go away.

However, this fusion is an illusion because a psychological issue cannot be combined with a physical one. Consequently, its perceived result, namely a psychosomatic disorder, is impossible to heal unless seen as two problems: A psychological one that feels like anxiety for something diffused. And a physical problem that is experienced as more straightforward and matter-of-fact.

Best not try to analyse or understand those two feelings. Instead, experience your emotional issue unedited and then perceive your reaction to it asit is what it is.’ This takes the edge of it. Thus you do not need to get rid of your psychological problem by combining it with the experience of a physical one.

Therefore, since the body does not feel invaded by a non-physical issue, it does not need to defend itself by attacking this and that. Instead, it uses its energy on fixing physical problems. Be aware, though, that the purpose of Alexius’ Duality Hack is not to heal the body but the sick belief that someone is in it.

But even though Alexius’ Duality Hacks only heal the belief that you are someone in a body, having that belief undone, having that belief undone, ever so slightly, you do not want to interfere with the body’s ways. But you may wish to assist it. In the case of Alexius, he uses nootropics to boost the brain. This is not to say you should do the same. Bodies are different, so your body may ask for something else. If in doubt, consult a health care professional.

But whether you project psychological issues on the body or not, it remains the same because they do not change the body – only the way you perceive it.

If pain in the mind is not denied the words that seems to cause the pain cannot hurt, but words projected onto the body – your own or somebody else´s – seems to be able to hurt and confirm the believe, that you are a person to be defined by time and space.

APPENDIX:
As a metaphor for the bodily and the mental sphere, think of a movie you watch on your screen. Everything in the film is a simulation of the physical world and only that. The mental zone cannot be seen. It is something you add yourself to the movie. Yet, it does not change anything but your perception of it.

In other words, in the context of the world where we appear everything ng is made of matter, you included. However, contrary to a body in a movie, your body has feelings. But only physical ones. If there seem to be psychological feelings in it, you have projected them onto the body to make it appear more important or the emotions more substantial. It could also be that you want to hide psychological issues from your awareness behind something physical.

But just like nothing changes in a movie, regardless of what you project onto it, nothing is transformed in your body when you project non-bodily issues on it. It only seems so if you envision that mentally.

Please be aware this metaphor is made within the reality of duality. In non-duality, there is nothing tangible or intangible because there is no division like in a world of duality. However, appearing to be in such a world, you must play the polarity game if you want to end it. This does not mean you have to understand it or make an effort. Like in a board game, you move by the dice. The meaning you assign to the result is perceived as ‘it is what it is.’ And since that reveals it is twofold, you are in the duality flow. There is nothing to search for. Searching comes from the desire of more, and there is no more than that which is one.

Life has no secrets. It is impossible because it is that which is one, and it takes more than one to have something. So how come so many are wondering about what life is? The answer lies in the previous sentence. Life is that which is One, so if you believe to be someone in a world where there seems to be more than one, you are without life. In other words, even though the oneness of life is what makes it possible to experience a world where there seems to be more than one, it is not there – just like a physical body is not in a dream, regardless of being the host of it.

Though some like to think, that the word of god is something written, but there is nothing in the New Testament that indicates that. In fact the word of god can neither be written or spoken.

Unfortunately most of those reading the New Testament reckon it is The Word of God. But as god is that which is One and it takes more than one to write or read, the New Testament has nothing to do with The Word of God.

However, an echo of that which is One can be heard and felt in a world where there seems to be more than one. Christianity calls it The Word of God, and in Eastern religions, it is often symbolised by the words Aum and Sohang. Thus you could say that the oneness of life sends out an echo of itself to call you home. This echo does not reveal what oneness is but what obscures it, namely the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one. That said, it is, of course, a metaphor that oneness is calling you home because you have never left it since it is formless, thus endless,

Nevertheless, this article is written within the context of the belief that it is possible to be and have more than one. Within this context, hearing or feeling the echo of oneness is a call to go home. But the sound has no beginning and end, so it is not a word that can be written or spoken. Fortunately, it can be heard and felt, and it is very easy.

No chanting or any other action like that is necessary to hear/feel the vibration, that is symbolized by the word Aum. It comes to you automatically, when you do not differentiate the sounds of the world but include them all. In other words, when you do not focus or concentrate.

THE VIBRATION THAT AUM, SOHANG OR THE WORD OF GOD SYMBOLISES IS …
… not a secret though it appears so if you are searching for an elitist understanding rather than hearing or feeling the vibration, which can be heard or felt whenever you do not focus on hearing or feeling something specific.

When you hear or feel the unpronounceable echo of oneness, the sense of being someone definitive disappears. Thus there is nothing to transform.

For ages, people have been chanting Aum and Sohang or speculated about the meaning of The Word of God, assuming that if they just kept going, their secret would miraculously be revealed. But oneness cannot make miracles or reveal anything as it takes more than one to do something, and there is no more than that which is One.

However, it only takes one ‘chant’ of Aum or Sohang to hear or feel the echo of oneness. That is, if you do not look for peak experiences of an almighty god, love or something mysterious and sensational that can be mentally explained.

TO TUNE INTO HEARING THE ECHO OF ONENESS …
… you first say the two first letters of AUM very slow, and when you come to M, you do not really say but whisper it until you say nothing, and there is a gentle humming coming from somewhere in the distance. That is the echo of oneness.

You can also get in touch with this distant humming by saying sohang – eventually combined with listening to the sound coming from the breath. Say so when breathing in, and after a tiny break, say hang when breathing out. The so is not really important, except for tuning in. The same applies to the first part of hang. After having said so-ha(n), you remain on (a)ng at the end of breathing out and then let the sound continue by itself – what remains without you saying anything is the humming, which is the echo of oneness.

Another way to hear the echo of oneness is to stop focusing on any sound in particular until you cannot distinguish the sounds you hear. Hence they turn into one sound, namely the echo of oneness.

You do not have to sit in a particular posture, repeat a mantra, chant, pray, wear unique clothes or be in a specific place with special people to hear the echo of oneness. Neither does there have to be stillness inside or outside of you. All you have to do is be devoted to whatever you do.

One of the first times Alexius heard this humming from the edge of the universe, he was busy handing out flyers on a pedestrian street. being completely devoted to it, the noise of the street turned into the background where it fused a humming that, although it was distant, cancelled out the noise of the road – also the feeling of being there, as the sum of all feelings turned into a transparent one.

KNOWING IT IS THERE, IT IS EASIER TO CONNECT
When Alexius was a child, he liked the music from a radio station called Radio Luxembourg. Unfortunately, it was difficult to tune into it in his native country Denmark because it was on a frequency located between two very noisy stations. But as he knew of its existence and where to look, he succeeded in tuning into Radio Luxembourg with much determination and the finest subtlety.

Likewise, since you now know it is possible to hear the humming of oneness from the edge of the universe regardless of the world’s noise, you can tune through devotion to your present activity or via Aum or Sohang. If there appears to be too much noise in the head, join it until it fuses into one sound, or listen to the right side without focusing on anything specific.

TO FEEL THE ECHO OF ONENESS
Apart from hearing the vibration that Aum, Sohang and The Word of God symbolise, you can also feel it – especially if you are more emotional than audio minded. Do the same as above but put more weight into feeling it. Feeling it can be compared to sensing your body purring like a cat, or like it trembles of fear but without fearing anything, or shaking of coldness but more lightly and not feeling cold or anything else specifically, or feeling the effect of quickly drinking the foam of Coca-Cola which in this case is not limited to bubble or tingle in a specific part of the body.

When this gets more intense, it may feel like you are the vibration from an earthquake or a giant laundry machine on the spin cycle. It is not only felt in the body but also outside of it as if there is no transition between the body and the appearances that seem to be outside of it. If you do not panic but go with its flow, you forget about the body and anything outside of it, so no memory seems to hide there is no more than the formlessness of oneness.

This is what Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings calls the Enlightenment of that which is One. However, that cannot be experienced because it takes more than one to experience something. But usually, fear of destruction starts survival reflexes in the body, so you return as someone in a world where there seems to be more than one. As this article is not about the Enlightenment of that which is One but something that can be experienced, namely the primordial vibration from the edge of the universe, we go on with that. Feeling or hearing it is basically the same – like two sides of the same coin. Yet, it is not advisable to be devoted to both simultaneously but one at a time.

In the case of Alexius, he is more into hearing than feeling something, so it took him a long time to feel the echo of oneness, and when he finally did – after several years – the belief in being someone specific was momentarily undone, so there was nothing definable fending off the aspect of feeling the Enlightenment of that which is One, which you do not feel as there are no conscious of you being someone definitive.

WHAT DOES IT SOUND LIKE?
Some people complain that their neighbour is vacuuming while they meditate, but most likely, the neighbour is asleep. And it is not the sound of a vacuum cleaner they hear but the distant vibration from the edge of the universe that Aum, Sohang or The Word of God symbolises.

But since most look for a great and exceptional experience, they brush off something so simple as the gentle humming coming from the edge of the universe and yet from nowhere. The humming can also be compared to the distant sound of the air conditioning in a big place like an airport. It can also be compared to the sound of a wave at the shore that never stops going up.

TO REMEMBER YOUR HOME
Already familiar with the humming that Aum, Sohang and The Word of God symbolise, you do not tune into it all the time if you still want to appear as someone in a world where there seems to be more than one. But you may tune into it now and then to make sure you have not forgotten the key to the formlessness of oneness – just like you sometimes check your pocket to hear or feel that you have not forgotten the key to your physical home.

ALEXIUS AND THE ECHO OF ONENESS
The above article is Alexius’ way of communicating, how you actually can hear and feel an echo of oneness. To use Aum or Sohang as a stepping stone for that is not a new idea, but so far, it has mostly been promoted in mysterious ways by people who do not hear or feel it themselves but hope that if they repeat those words, again and again, a miracle will happen. Looking for that, however, they will miss the gentle humming coming from the edge of the universe.

It was not through the words Aum or Sohang that Alexius started to hear or feel the humming that they symbolise. Since his teenage years, he has been used to being ‘lifted’ by this humming – for example while watching a movie, having a walk with his parents or sitting all by himself in a park. And so, when he was about 40 years old, it suddenly dawned on him that this is what people are trying to reach when chanting Aum or Sohang.

It is not about reaching it, though, but tuning into it so that it reaches you. When Alexius can do this, so can you, because even though you may appear to be different from him, what makes it possible for the two of you to experience you are different is the same, namely the formlessness of oneness from where this humming comes.


APPENDIX:
As it takes more than one to experience something, the Enlightenment of that which is One cannot be experienced. Yet glimpses of it can be experienced in the form of seeing, hearing, feeling or tasting it. In other words, to hear or feel the vibration that Aum, Sohang and The Word of God symbolises is to have a glimpse of the Enlightenment of that which is One.

Are there degrees of Enlightenment?

Enlightenment can also be felt and heard in several degrees. AUM can open your inner ear.

It will seem to happen in degrees because as long as there appears to be an ´I´ that thinks it has the power to let go of anything, you hang onto the person, you appear to be in a world where there seems to be more than one. The answer to the question in the headline is both yes and no. Before I start to elaborate on this, I like to remind you that if two people drink the exact same cup of tea, they will most likely describe it differently. Maybe one of them talks about it in a very ecstatic way and the other in a very down-to-earth way. Still, it is the same tea, so – in the context of this metaphor – please focus on the tea and not the description when you read this article.

In the Enlightenment of that which is One, everything happens simultaneously. Thus there are no specific elements that can be labelled to make it understandable. Nor is there anybody to be aware of that or anything at all. Therefore, the Enlightenment of that which is One is not an experience or a state of some kind. It is that which is One, and there are no degrees of oneness. In the context of linear time, how long time it lasts is not to say because it is one perpetual present.

To rise again from the dead, as it feels like returning from the Enlightenment of that which is One to a world where there seems to be more than one, you again appear to be someone definitive. Yet, this is not something you believe to be but pretend to be. But whether you believe or pretend to be there, it is something that requires more than one, and so it seems to hide the Enlightenment of that which is One.

You can compare it to activating an app on your computer or smart media. When you do it, the desktop – although still there – is hidden until you turn off the app again.

Alexius is like every other person in the world not perfect. But unlike most others he knows, it is not possible to be perfect, because that requires more than one and there is no more than that which is One.

Alexius was very young when the belief in being someone definitive for the first time momentarily was turned off. He did not know about the Enlightenment of that which is One from books or anywhere else, and he did not consider himself to have – what the purist may call – a pure mind or body. He probably still does not have that because the Enlightenment of that which is One does not change anything in the world. Nothing is transformed into peace, love, purity or whatever. There is no more than that which is One, so there is not something to change. That is the revelation of Enlightenment – and there are no degrees in that.

Balance is a concept invented, so that you can always feel out of balance and therefore constantly is occupied trying to get it. Being on a mission like that, you do not have time to see that there is no balance in an illusion – neither btw in that which is real. Reality is one and it takes two to have a balance.

Spiritual wannabe´s try to follow special ideas like for example the concept of balance – as if there is any balance in an illusionary world – so that when they have achieved the right balance they are considered spiritual, which they imagine is manifested by them moving at a very slow pace. This state of numbness they have decided is to be in higher consciousness. Yet high consciousness is as illusory as low, as it takes more than one to be have something. If instead they acknowledged, that they do not know what and where they are, the Enlightenment of that which is One comes so fast, that the the brain has no time to distinguish anything. Thus concepts of spirituality and whatnot falls apart.

He has no answer to questions like how come he bid welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One, or how come he returned to the world again. All he can say is, at this moment, he is writing this article in a world that seems to be full of degrees. So yes, in such a world, you can experience degrees of Enlightenment. But they are not the Enlightenment of that which is One, though, but glimpses of it.

When he was a child, he was not allowed to see the fully decorated Christmas tree before Christmas Eve. But he took some sneak peeks through the keyhole in the door and was very amazed by the light he saw. Those sneak peeks can be compared to glimpses of Enlightenment. You are still in your ordinary world from where you have glimpses of something very different.

In the context of this metaphor, it is not only the beautiful light from all the candles you experience looking through the keyhole, you can also hear all the glitter move on the green leaves. Actually, if you are more audio than visual-minded, it might be these sounds that bliss you out rather than the light.

Apart from the visual and audiovisual aspects of the Enlightenment of that which is One, there are also aspects of feeling and tasting it. However, you do not need to follow all the aspects to erase what seems to hide that which is the oneness of you. One part will do. Alexius has followed the visual and emotional aspect of the Enlightenment of that which is one into the non-degree version. But since it is one perpetual present, it cannot be brought back into a world of linear time, so there are just vague memories of it.

Glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One is experienced through the inward-facing senses when the outward ones are partly closed. And just like ordinary experiences, there are degrees of them, and they can be remembered in the world of the outward-facing senses. These glimpses come to him daily in various degrees of the four aspects of the Enlightenment of that which is One. The easiest one – in his case – is the emotional experience of hearing and feeling the sound that Aum or Sohang symbolises.

It sounds and feels like the vibrations from an enormous vacuum cleaner or the ventilation plant in an airport. Alexius has met people who have heard this humming when meditating but disregarded it as a sound coming from their neighbour using a vacuum cleaner. People spend so much time repeating Aum or Sohang in expectation of something mysterious to happen when all they have to do is repeat it a few times to get in tune with the humming floating on top of the ´end´ of the word. You can read the practical instruction on how to do this in this article.

The word Aum or Sohang can be compared to the control knob on an analogue radio that you use to fine-tune into hearing just one station. When you have gotten it, you do not need the control knob – or in this case, the word Aum or Sohang to hear the echo of that which is One. If you hear or feel the humming of that which is One, while still aware of the world, it is a glimpse of the Enlightenment of that which is One, which is revealed in degrees depending on how much you are unaware of a world, where there seems to be more than one.

All degrees of Enlightenment are experiences, and any experience is part of the illusion of a world where there seems to be more than one. However, it appears that these degrees of Enlightenment bring you closer to the beginning of the world – before the big bang – which is often experienced as a paradise full of ecstasy and bliss. Yet, like all other experiences, these also have an end. So does this article.

That is until the black strokes meet, and the bright white light that shoots out of the hole fills up everything by extracting all thoughts, making up what you believe to be so that there is nobody to experience being gracefully pulled through a hole that like the bright white light is no more, as there is nothing but that which always was and is since it is formless, thus without beginning and end, namely that which is One. For the same reason, there is nobody to know that the Enlightenment of that which is One is not a process over time but one perpetual present, nor that what and where you believed in being never existed. The Enlightenment of that which is One is like a vacuum cleaner that sucks out all the thoughts you have collected to experience being someone definitive. Hence there is nobody left to detect, that nobody falls through a hole opening up from what at first may look like a Zen circle. Even though it is often called a black hole, it is not necessarily black or white as in the image shown here, but probably full of the same rapid changing lucid colours surrounding the stroke, which is more greyish than in this image.

The circle making up the so-called black hole is not made by one but two strokes that are drawn exceptionally quickly and smoothly without any brush from what turns out to be the top of the circle. Moreover, the two strokes are drawn simultaneously and look quite similar to the image to tat the top. That is, if you like this article, compare it to a zen circle because by comparing it to a well-known image, the Enlightenment of that which is One is fenced off, and you are back in a world of linear time.

In other words, since the completion of the black hole is stopped by your definition of it as something recognisable, you are not in free fall, moving so fast that nobody seems to move through a black hole, no longer a hole but colourless light with no substance and so bright that there is nothing but that which cannot be seen, namely that which is One.

So even though the Enlightenment of that which is One was about to strip you from everything definable so nobody would encounter a timeless journey without distance to the formlessness of oneness, you chose to reappear as someone definitive in a world defined by time and space.

Therefore, what you think you saw is the Enlightenment of that which is One. Consequently, the beginning of the black hole you saw before returning to a world where there seems to be more than one is not the Enlightenment of that which is One but a glimpse of it.

If you in anyway try to define anything in the enlightenment of that which is one, you fence it off, so it cannot extract your thoughts so you as nobody freely are falling through a black hole into that which is one. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

If you try to see something definable in the Enlightenment of that which is One, such as colours, you are back in a world defined by time and space. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

For the same reason, most of the above is not a description of the Enlightenment of that which is One but glimpses of it. Read more about those glimpses in hack #6.2 Glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One. However, the below is a description of the Enlightenment of that which is One. But since it cannot be experienced. The report is solely based on the vague memories Alexius has of going where there is no time and space.

These memories may imply that the Enlightenment of that which is One is a sequence of events, but that is only because one perpetual present cannot be described in a world of linear time.

If you do not compare the two lines that hastily draw up a black hole with zen strokes or anything else, they are not defined. Thus the ends meet without you noticing, there is nothing outside of them anymore, nor inside. It is just one bright light that is neither opaque nor transparent but so intense that it cannot be seen, nor can anything else because there is not something to illuminate since it requires more than one, and there is no more than that which is One.

Consequently, there is no light and no you to imagine a substantial world that seems to hide there never was or will be more than the that which is One since it is formless, thus endless.

In a black hole, like in a dream, there is no sense of a physical world or ever having appeared to be someone in such a world. Nor is there a sense of any other world or being someone definitive. But there is a sense of floating weightlessly through an endless hole with no sides and light even though it is not dark.

There is not only a sense of being something non-definable in an indefinable void but also that this all of a sudden will end – presumably because it takes more than that to sense something. For the same reason there is nobody to see what happens next. Fortunately, it is not necessary because nothing happens in that which is One as that requires more than one.

Before the thoughts making up what you believe in being is absorbed by the exceptionally bright light that seems to explode in your face, you may sense that if you do not fight it by defining it, all thoughts collected to make you appear as someone definitive will be extracted and left at the edge of the black hole, so there is nothing to be transported through this portal of antimatter into the formlessness of oneness. If this is what you want, you better forget what you read, so you do not use it to define the Enlightenment of that which is One and thereby escape it.

Even better, if you forget what and where you believe in being, there is no belief hiding that which is you is no different from that which is One and that it has always been and always will be so.

The enlightenment of that which is One is not for those who believe to come from the heart or having direct experiences, being full of compassion and whatnot, because states like that depend on the belief that you are someone definitive and there is no room for anyone in the enlightenment of that which is One.

Should you, after reading this, feel that you have not gotten the ins and out of a black hole, you are lucky because there are no ins and out of it.

As the portal to the Enlightenment of that which is One – the so-called black hole – is not definitive, it may start in other ways than in the above description. One glimpse of it that Alexius has had many times looks a bit like a sonogram – or rather a wide range of the triangle-like shape in this image spinning so fast that they seem to join each other around an indefinable centre until the speed makes them disappear. Only their borderline is sensed like a glittering round white stroke with nothing but blackness inside it. Then one bright light, more powerful than thousands of atomic bombs, erupts out of the darkness and fills up everything.

That which is One cannot be understood, because it takes more than one to understand something. Yet there is much to be understood in a world where there seems to be more than one in order to learn how to appear as if you are someone definitive there. But it is not understandable, why you believe to be in such a world.

This description is based on the glimpse of the Enlightenment of that which is One that Alexius had last night, while the description of the zen circle is based on the night before. At other times ‘the black hole’ may look like the head of a horse (see the image in The ins and outs of the inward senses) or an embryo more developed than in the sonogram image (see the picture in Going back to the first moment of duality). Hence there is no specific pattern to be deducted, so do yourself a favour and forget about understanding the Enlightenment of that which is One. The Enlightenment of that which is One does not result in spiritual understanding or connection with a higher being. On the contrary, it results in nothing because it takes more than one to cause something.

Since it also takes more than one to return to that which is One, you cannot do that. But since the same applies to departing oneness, you have never left it. That is why it does not know that you believe to be someone in a world where there seems to be more than one.

Most books or lectures about the Enlightenment of that which is Oneare based on speculations of how to exclude what is judged as dark evil become full of light. But to exclude is to separate, thus an enhancement of the belief in being someone definitive – and nothing definable can enter the Enlightenment of that which is One.

The enlightenment of that which is one can be compared to taking a ride in a fairground carousel so fast, that the mind has to give up seeing any differences at all. Consequently it is not possible to remain as someone definitive and so there is therefore nobody to experience the enlightenment of that which is one. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

The Enlightenment of that which is One can be compared to taking a ride in a fairground carousel moving so fast that the brain gives up separating it into different appearances. Consequently, since there is no separation to establish you as someone definitive, there is nobody to experience being brought back to what you never left, namely the formlessness of oneness. The Enlightenment of that which is One undoes this belief. Metaphorically speaking, it takes you on a ride in a fairground carousel moving so fast that the brain gives up producing different images of it. Thus, eventually, everything is fused into one bright light. However, it is not a light that lightens up anything because that requires more than one. For the same reason, there is no memory of a world where there seems to be more than one.

In other words, the experience of being someone definitive is wiped out by the Enlightenment of that which is One, so there is nobody left to experience bliss or anything else. Therefore, when Alexius talks about the Enlightenment of that which is One, it is not based on the experience of it but on vague memories of something that cannot be experienced.

Reading his memories, you may get the impression that the Enlightenment of that which is One is a sequence of events happening in linear time. But everything ‘happens ‘simultaneously. However, that cannot be described in a world of linear time. And even though it is described as it ‘happened’ many years ago, in non-linear time, it is still ‘happening.’ Hence his description might be a mix of several ‘excursions’ from linear time into one perpetual present.

An early morning, when he was 22 years old, Alexius bid welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One after intensely having worked as a taxi driver for about 15 hours. Somehow the sum of the images from driving back and forth the streets continually looking for customers turned into something less definable and more blurry. When he came home Alexius had no energy left to establish a focused image of himself in a world defined by time and space. Thus forgetting what and where he was, he was not aware of a transition to the spiralling show of psychedelic light that did not seem to come from anywhere and to suck him into nowhere.

Thereafter the light sucks nobody  through a black gap in itself into the formlessness of onenes. Most, though, try to avoid loosing their identity by establishing the black gap as something know like a black hole. Thus they remain someone definitive and cannot be sucked through the gap in the light. The enlightenment of that which is One is to be compared to the fusion of all lights, or sounds, or emotions, or tastes – depending on our preference as someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one.

None of these fusions are the formlessness of that which is One. They are merely ways to attract you so you do not resist, when all the thoughts collected to fabricate your personality are extracted by the enlightenment of that which is One, so nothing definable is sucked through a black hole into the formlessness of oneness.

This article is about the first time the belief in being someone definitive momentarily was undone for Alexius. The enlightenment of that which is One was bid welcome in its most known aspect, namely light. Much later the other aspects – sound, emotion and taste – was also bid welcome. Not as a mix though but one by one. It is not possible to mix something in the enlightenment of that which is One, as that requires more than one.

Alexius assumes it is not necessary to bid welcome all the aspects, but that one of them is sufficient in regard to completely forget the imagination of a world where there seems to be more than one.

Suddenly a black gap with no fixed location nor a fixed form, looking like a horse head or an embryo, showed up in the psychedelic light show. And then an utterly colourless light – brighter than the coloured light outside the black spot – started to form as a ring with no defined boundary inside the black area’s edges, which apparently was a hole because colourless light exploded out of it.

This light absorbed everything. It was everywhere and yet nowhere. Without any mention, it knocked out the concept of Alexius and a world where there seems to be more than one, so the nothingness of him gracefully fell into the formlessness of oneness – or maybe it floated into oneness. Alexius cannot recall because the thought construction shaping him was left outside the black hole. Besides, everything happened simultaneously. Nevertheless, there is a sense of forever falling while swimming in a space that was not there – and then, in the exact moment as forever falling, it never happened because there was nothing but that which is one, and it takes more than one for something to happen.

That is all, folks. There is no more to tell. At this point, the Enlightenment of that which is One is over, and there is nothing but the formlessness of oneness. It is not a big void of nothing filled with exotic ideas of unconditional love and whatnot. On the contrary, it is not filled with anything since that requires more than one.

Thus oneness is neither peaceful nor stillness or anything else. Metaphorically speaking, its speed is so fast that it is not possible to differentiate anything. Hence there is not something to see or anyone to realise that. Nor to hear the incredible noise of the speed. Especially because it is so loud that all sounds merge into one, all lights into one light, all emotions into one feeling, and tastes into one taste.

The above is not to be understood as the Enlightenment of that which is One is a mix of light, sound, emotion and taste. They are four aspects of it. But you only bid one of them welcome at a time. It does not matter which one of them. They all have the same purpose. Namely to attract to the extent that you cannot help but let them extract all thoughts, making it appear as if you are someone definitive. And then leave them at the edge of a black hole so that there is nothing definable to be sucked through it into the formlessness of oneness.

The latter about leaving thoughts at the edge of a black hole may be a twisted memory. And it is, of course, a metaphor to say oneness is on the other side of a black hole because it is formless, thus without inside or outside.

Dunno if there is a spiral around the black hole of the enlightenment of that which is one, because being that close nothing seems to differ from each other. Yet for a moment so short, that it is not conceivable, a light inside the edge of the black hole so much brighter that the very bright light around it, suddenly explodes into a formless light that does not include Alexius but the formlessness of that which I am. Alexius seems to remember a spiral around a black hole in the Enlightenment of that which is One. However, he does not remember it exactly as in this image – either because everything was moving extremely fast or he was so close that nothing seemed to differ from each other. Yet for a moment, so short that it is not conceivable, white light inside the edge of the black hole – so much brighter than the very colourful light around it – exploded into a bright light that erased everything definable. Thus he cannot report what ‘happened’ after being sucked by formless light through a shapeless black hole into that which is One. Nor can he find an image on the web that can illustrate the vague memories of this. Fortunately, you can go there yourself – or rather stop going anywhere. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

THE ENLIGHTENMENT OF THAT WHICH IS ONE IS INEXPLAINABLE
When Alexius welcomed the Enlightenment of that which is One, he was not aware of doing that. Actually, he had never heard about it, nor seen a black hole. Fortunately, he did not define anything because otherwise, he would have bounced back to a world where there seems to be more than one. Thus the description of a black hole leading into that which is One is made retrospectively.

Actually, it was not before much later, when he saw pictures of black holes in the universe, that he sensed how familiar they were. But calling a black hole a path into oneness is a metaphor because there is neither an entrance nor an exit to that which is one. In other words, describing the Enlightenment of that which is One is impossible because even though so much goes on, nothing definable happens because it is one perpetual present.

To bid welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One, you do not have to drive a taxi all night or be in ’a deep sleep’ like Buddha supposedly talked about. Whatever way you lose focus or stop defining and labelling will do regarding bidding welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One. However, meditation may not work. It is generally about concentrating and focusing on achieving something specific – and anything definable fend off the Enlightenment of that which is One.

The crowd in Alexius’ bar Floss turned out to be a community of punks, musicians and models. Although their appearance was quite different from Alexius’s, their content was the same empty space. However, in their case, they tried to fill it with something special, like going to Floss, which was considered the coolest place to meet. The image is grabbed from the web.

PART 1:
In the eyes of the world, Alexius has been very successful. First, he designed two trendy restaurants and two bars that he had for 12 years. Later he was a TV producer, a designer for big and small companies and then a teacher in public relations – all of it without any education or watching TV. Read more about Alexius’ personal story.

Before becoming a businessman, but after working as a kindergarten teacher and a taxi driver, he was a monk for four years. Though his different activities may seem very different, the purpose was always the same, setting his personality aside. So the children in the kindergarten could find their own feet to walk on, and people hiring a taxi could get to their destination peacefully. His restaurants and bars could grow in a way that benefitted the community evolving from them. The energy of a TV broadcasting – just like his design – would highlight the content and not the designer.

So whether he was doing something mundane or living in a monastery, it was always about phasing out his personality and not listening to the ecstatic voice telling him how much he could become and have if following his desires. But he did not need to fill the emptiness in him with something because as someone compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One, he knew something is nothing in disguise.

In other words, Alexius knows time and space are fake. And it seems scientists also know because they say the world we believe in feeling and seeing consists of 99.9999999 per cent empty space. And the rest – despite also being empty space consisting of nothing substantial – is what we perceive as elements of matter making up a tangible world where we appear to be somebody definitive. Therefore, since what you believe in being is nothing that you have learned to perceive as something, you must unlearn everything.

This will not change your appearance into something angelic or heavenly. Neither will it change the look of the world outside of you. But you start sensing something is nothing. This does not mean that what appears to be inside of you is real. On the contrary, there is no inside because that which is you is no different from oneness, which is formless, thus with no inside and outside.

The personality is there to be used for having fun in the world.

Even though Alexius is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One, appearing as someone in a world where there seems to be more than one, he has a personality like everybody – just like he also has a body. But although his aura is crystallised, it is not full of light, and neither is his body or personality because the Enlightenment of that which is One does not know a world where there seems to be more than one. PART 2:
One part of Alexius’ personality is very forgiven. Not in the sense that it first condemns and then forgives – but that it simply overlooks appearances. However, the other part does not miss anything, and it is not willing to forgive the appearances that do not meet its expectations. Instead, it insists they should change.

If one leg is shorter than the other, you do not get rid of the ´wrong´ one. Best to keep both of them because that makes it easier to walk. Likewise, it is best to keep both the good and evil part of the personality because when they meet they cancel out each othwer, wherefore it impossible to define you as someone definitive.

Alexius could improve this part of his personality, but he chooses to let the forgiven part of him overlook the grudges from the angry part. At times though, he sees the grudge as warnings, for instance, when standing at the edge of a mountain.

And they served him well when he was in the advertising business. Thanks to the faultfinder part of his personality, he quickly saw what needed to be corrected in a project. It is also that part he uses when proofreading Alexius’ Duality Hacks. In this way, both aspects of his personality can go on doing what they do the best. Nothing needs to be denied, rejected or transformed. Everything is fine as it is.

This has nothing to do with oneness but using the personality to have fun pretending to be in a world where there seems to be more than one. Fortunately, when not trying to correct or change the personality, the belief in it as real is not enhanced but phased out.

Without contrasts, there is nothing but non-duality

When contrasts meet they cancel each other out, so if you for example do not exclude negativity in order to experience positivity, you would not be able to judge something as positive. In other words, when all contrasts are included, you would not even be able to experience yourself as someone definitive. You would be that which you always have been and always will be, namely the formlessness of that which is one, which cannot be experienced as there are no contrasts in that which is formless.

When the opposing sides of a contrast meet, they cancel out each other, so if you, for example, do not suppress negativity to experience positivity, you will not be able to judge something as positive. In other words, when all contrasts are included, you cannot perceive yourself as someone definitive. Hence there is nothing to hide what always has been and will be, namely the formlessness of oneness. It cannot be experienced, though, as that requires more than one. Two different worlds were about to evolve in the milliseconds after the big bang: one of matter (the one we believe to see) and one of antimatter. But matter and antimatter cannot coexist. If they meet, an incredible amount of energy is released, and they disappear in one big flash

Antimatter, therefore, had to be excluded for matter to appear as a tangible universe defined by time and space. This does not mean that antimatter has gone. Since the experience of a tangible world is produced by the brain, antimatter only needs to be excluded from our experience. That is why science cannot find it, although it must be somewhere according to their observations of the universe.

Death defines the condition of life in a world of duality.

A tangible world is experienced through contrasts, and as the opposing parts cancel out each other if they meet, one side of a contrast must be suppressed to experience the other as specific. For example, to experience beauty as something definitive, its counterpart, ugliness, must be excluded, as otherwise, they cancel each other out – just like antimatter had to be separated from matter to establish a world defined by time and space.

In other words, without separation, nothing definitive is established. On the contrary, the world defined by time and space is cancelled out in one big flash. This is what is called the Enlightenment of that which is One* in Alexius’ Duality Hacks. You can read about that in HACK #6, The inward-facing senses, Enlightenment and glimpses of it.

More, faster and cheaper is the common mantra. And to make it work, non-duality is replaced with a world of duality, that is imagined in contrasts of more and less, fast and slow, cheap and expensive and so on.

Most, however, do not want to be cancelled. On the contrary, they always look for the next big thing to make them more happy and perfect. But happiness cannot be felt without its contrast, sadness, and there is no perfection without imperfection. It is not possible to know that you experience something specific without knowing its contrast, which is only possible when you believe to be someone in a world where there seems to be more than one.

All experiences are deceptive – also the experience of dimension. Reality is more flat than this image, because it is the formlessness of that which is one and formlessness is sizeless. Besides it takes more than one to experience something and as formlessness is endless, there is no more than that which is one. But as oneness is formless, thus endless, anything that calls for more than one is an illusion.
