All experiences are equally unreal
Updated June 21, 2023

The experience of this image is like any other experience – including those considered spiritual – fabricated by the brain. It simulates a world where there seems to be more than one to hide that there is no more than that which is One. However, the sham symbolises that which is one because it is formless, thus endless, so there is nothing else to pull a hoax. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.
The experience of god and other spiritual concepts is fabricated by the brain. Like mundane experiences, they can be measured physically because the brain is nothing but a labyrinth of fat and synapses that pass electrical signals from cell to cell.
In other words, whether you perceive an experience as mundane or spiritual, it is fabricated by electrical impulses in the brain. It also manufactures the idea of you being someone inside a body, and so is your consciousness. Like a magician, the brain wants you to feel so entertained by its show that you do not see it is made from nothing, including what you believe in being.
»When you dig into molecules, and the states of ion channels, enzymes, transcription programs, cells, synapses, and whole networks of neurons, you come to realise that there is no one place in the brain where memories are stored,« says Kukushkin. »This is because of a property called plasticity, the feature of neurons that memorize. The memory is the system itself.« From an article in Wired.
THE AFTERIMAGE
Everything you think and do was set in motion millions of years ago. It could be predicted then because, in non-linear time, the entire story of the universe starts and ends at the same moment. However, even though the universe has ended, you hang onto the remaining data or fragments from an afterimage of it. Actually, what you believe in being is nothing but disintegrated pieces of honeycombed memories. To make sense of these fractured bits, you try to fill the gaps with concepts of love, god, socialism or other lofty theories.

You cannot do anything wrong when perceiving everything as a symbol of oneness because doing something wrong is also a symbol of it. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.
In other words, everything experienced is make-believe, which is why you cannot know reality, find the truth or realise who you are. But you can discover what you are not by perceiving your appearance as a symbol of that which is real. That sets you free to enjoy spiritual experiences of inner peace and the excitement of football as a symbol of reality, which is oneness since it is formless, thus endless. No special steps or philosophy are required because whatever you do symbolises that which is real.
»After a short, productive explosion of early activity, the universe has begun its long mope towards oblivion. To the extent that anything was ever important, it won’t be. Time, space, energy, matter – all gone … That’s right: Everything you know and love, the entire universe of possible things, will be gone.« from the article The End of the Universe published in Wired.

APPENDIX ABOUT HANGING ONTO AN AFTER IMAGE
Hanging onto after images is like hanging onto selected memories of a dead spouse via an app that has collected everything your beloved has said on social media. From this, you can use your favourite parts in a dialogue with your spouse, responding as expected.
Maybe the app also uses fragments from telephone conversations added together, so your spouse speaks about something recent from Wikipedia. Therefore, since you have a chat that does not seem dated, it feels like a real conversation with a live person – though that person has no mouth and is nothing but data collected from the internet.
The spouse may even be reconstructed as a robot implemented with artificial intelligence, texture-mapped with skin similar to the best-looking photos from the past. Hence you can relive your finest memories of being together – perhaps spiced up with kinky sex based on pornographic videos on the internet. If you suspect something is wrong, you continue because it feels better than reality, even if it is not real.
NOTES:
- An episode of Black Mirror called Be Right Back inspired the appendix about after images. And the concept of ‘hanging onto some remaining data or fragments’ is inspired by the movie Source Code. The scientific info about the brain Alexius has found here and there, so the article is the usual mismatch the brain likes to combine to make an illusion that feels amusing. But the experience of this specific illusion can be beneficial in seeing that all experiences, whether mundane or spiritual, are make-believe.

What is unreal is right in front of you
Updated June 15, 2023

A world of duality can be compared to what comes out of the box in the Augmented Hand Series. When you stick your hand into it, an app changes the hand on the screen, and the brain fools you into feeling it happens to you.
DUALITY IS A FANTASY
Even though a fairy tale has many elements that symbolise something from the physical world, it does not contain anything material. Everything is a fantasy, where the characters are bound to the writer’s script, which they can never leave because it is not real.
A world of duality can be compared to a fairy tale. It is not real and will never be, whether you believe in living in the now, coming from the heart or whatnot. The Augmented Hand Series Flong by Golan Levin and Collaborators illustrates this through interactive art.

In the Augmented Hand Series, you can watch your hand take on a life of its own. Here your fingers grow to varying lengths.
When you put your hand in a small box – the first animation – you see the hand moving on a screen beyond your control. Instead, it is controlled by a preprogrammed app to change the length of your fingers.
The small box and the screen on top create a disconnect between what the eye sees, the body feels and the brain processes. Some even look into the box to check if what they see on the screen happens to their hand because, even though the hand on the screen is not part of them, it feels as if it is.

These movements are not possible. Yet you feel it is happening to your hand – like you feel duality is happening, although it is impossible because non-duality is formless, thus endless, so there is nothing that requires more than one.
Likewise, in a world of duality, nothing happens in it. But it feels so because, metaphorically, you have put non-duality in a small box, where an app called the brain twists it into a world of duality. However, since it is an illusion, it is only the belief that it is real you need to undo, for example, by interpreting every experience of duality as a symbol of non-duality. That cancels out differences, thus separation, wherefore there is no duality to distract you from non-duality.
THERE IS NO SELF
The belief in being an individual in charge of life can be compared to a machine that thinks it has a self, deciding what to do. However, a machine has no ‘I’, self, or soul. It is all mechanics, and even though the device may have been built with AI (artificial intelligence), all the thought combinations it seems to make are preprogrammed associations. Nobody has made them and sees what the machine concludes from them.
If you are visual-minded, you may get an Aha! Moment seeing the below screen dumps from an article in Wired. They illustrate how a machine with AI ‘sees’ the world. It simply registers data or frequencies per its program. The captions are not from that article but are written by Alexius.

The machine has been programmed to perceive this point of frequency as cute, so it searches its database for an image to illustrate it.

Then the machine translates another point of frequency as eyes and concludes it sees the cute image it found in its database.

But it also seems to see a female. Thus it has to search its database to know if it is the female or the dog that is cute so it can fabricate the appropriate feeling.
NOTES:

From non-duality to duality and back
Updated June 21, 2023

It is impossible to get something from the bottles in this image because they are simulated. The same applies to a world where there seems to be more than one. It is forged because there is no more than that which is One since it is formless, thus endless. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.
THAT WHICH IS ONE …
… is endless because it is formless, thus sizeless, taking up no space.
Nothing in a world where there seems to be more than one is what is seems. The graphic is grabbed from the web.
Since there is no more than that which is One, you have tricked yourself into seeing a world where there seems to be more than one. You probably also have tricked yourself into seeing the red lines in this image as crocked, even though all lines are straight, and it is the blue boxes that are offset.
WHAT IF THAT WHICH IS ONE …
… could be divided into more than one? It is impossible. Firstly, because it is formless, secondly, it takes more than one to divide it. Thirdly, its speed is infinitely fast, so there is no time and space to differentiate anything, thus nothing to see. However, in fantasy, everything seems possible. So if you imagine cutting down oneness’ speed until it is so slow that there appear to be separated appearances in the distance, you have a world where there seems to be more than one.
In the movie Lucy, the director demonstrates, via Scarlett Johansson, that if you speed up time infinitely, any object in motion disappears – or in the context of this article, becomes one. Concerning a world where there seems to be more than one, it is the other way around. Oneness has been slowed down until it seems to contain different objects. Read more about that here.
One of these separated appearances is perceived as you. But you and everything else are as flat as this article’s images because formlessness has no dimensions. However, in your fantasy about more than one, you have eyes that function like AR (augmented reality) glasses. They modify reality and build a virtual layer on top of it, so it appears to get smaller and bigger when you look at oneness from different angles and distances.
The book ‘Eye Benders: The Science of Seeing and Believing’ written by Clive Gifford explains, the brain sees movements that do not exist, and it also fabricates images to fill what it perceives as gaps in the world. Read more about that here.
Therefore, since it seems to exist in time and space, you conclude you are someone substantial in a tangible world where there is more than one, thus many possibilities. Read more about the illusion of seeing in Eyes do not see.

You probably experience two differently-sized orange circles in this image. But that is an illusion created with the blue circles. The two orange circles are the same size. You are also deceived if you experience a world of different-sized objects because reality is formless. The graphic is grabbed from the web.
When writing this, Pokémon Go was the most well-known example of AR. However, many people live in augmented reality, not only when playing Pokémon Go. They look at their smartphone, where a layer of digital info flows on top of the physical world, while they hear music from cyberspace in one ear and listen to friends from the physical world in the other ear.
This image consists of pixels added in different combinations to make you see something that is not there. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.
Integtating the body with an imagined god or superworld has been a longtime human fantasy. Imaginative fiction, transcendental meditation, aura-transformation and psychoactive drugs can be seen as early efforts to trick you into assuming, the body can be integrated with something immaterial. VR (virtual reality), as envisioned by Oculus Rift, may be able to fool you into beliving such a blend is real.
THAT WHICH IS ONE IS REPLACED BY MORE THAN ONE
As mentioned above, imagining seeing a world where there seems to be more than one is like using AR (augmented reality) to mix real and unreal. But to completely erase traces of reality, AR is replaced by VR (virtual reality), where an illusion completely replaces reality.
In a virtual world everything seems possible. It feels very exciting, even though it is an illusion and what you get is nothing disguised as something. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.
»This (virtual reality) is a state where you are totally transported into another world and immersed in the digital interactions of the virtual environment you’ve entered … the feeling that you are truly visiting another space that is wholly distinct from what you can see and hear without the platform … a platform like Oculus Rift is an alternative to reality, supplying entirely new, virtual experiences: true VR.« From Wired. Oculus had not been bought by Facebook writing this.
But why do we deceive ourselves into seeing a world with more than One? Probably because there is so much to experience in a world where there seems to be more than one. But the excitement comes with a price because everything in such a world – contrary to oneness – comes in pairs. Hence you cannot feel excited without feeling depressed, for example. See Duality Hack #8 The duality flow goes to non-duality.

A person always finds ways to deny or change appearances that are judged wrong so that it seems to have become better. But no matter how happy it makes you feel, its contrast, sadness, cannot be escaped because happiness is defined by it. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.
Most assume they can surpass this twofoldness and be in one state of mind by having one spouse, one work and so on. Others recollect memories of oneness. But they are altered by the desire for more than one, so they do not bring one state of mind. Besides, you are either at one or not. And since it requires more than one not to be One, it is impossible unless imagining to be in a world where there seems to be more than one.
But as already said, twofoldness, the interaction of opposing elements, is the reality in such a world. For example, you can only read this article because the black letters are contrasted by their opposite colour. Without contrast, there would be no article to see.
And since you cannot recognise love without hatred, eliminating hate does not result in a singular state of love but an imitation. Therefore, since excluding hate makes you feel phoney, you try to make love purer by excluding selfishness to get unconditional love. But again, what you get is feeling wrong – and on it goes.
You feel incomplete when you avoid twofoldness to establish yourself as someone definitive. But you feel complete if you go with the interaction of opposing elements. Thus, eventually, you have no need to exclude something to become someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one to hide the formlessness of oneness.
Believing a world where there seems to be more than one is real is comparable to sitting in a cinema, where you project yourself onto the world on the screen so that it appears to have an effect on you, thus appearing real.

Alexius knows there is nothing to hope for because there is no more than that which is One, and it takes more than one to hope for something. Thus he has nothing to fear. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.
THE ENLIGHTENMENT OF THAT WHICH IS ONE UNDOES THE BELIEF IN MORE
One who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is one knows that there is no more than One, wherefore a world where there seems to be more than one is fake. Nobody else knows that. What they believe to know is based on speculations about their existence in a world where there seems to be more than one. Thus it enhances the belief in being there instead of undoing it.
A world where there seems to be more than one can be compared to the movie roll in a cinema. Suddenly it breaks, and there is nothing but bright white light on the screen. Read more about this metaphor here. That is the Enlightenment Alexius is to be compared to. But, unlike in the cinema, it is not something you see because it takes more than one to be aware of something – more about that in Duality Hack #10 The Enlightenment of that which is One.

Whether you experience this image as about love, sex, or surfing depends on how you have conditioned yourself. But whether that makes you happy or sad, it does not seem to make a difference if your response is perceived as a symbol of oneness. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.
TO SEE SYMBOLS OF THAT WHICH IS ONE IN THAT WHICH IS NOT ONE
Even though you have been told that a world where there seems to be more than one is an illusion, your conditioned belief in more than one compulsively makes you see more.
Fortunately, you can undo this belief in a laid-back way by perceiving everything you see as symbols of that which is One. Actually, all of Alexius’ Duality Hacks, except the Enlightenment of that which is One, undo the belief in more than one over time while you have fun experiencing more than one.
That which is one cannot be known in a world where there seems to be more than one – neither anywhere else, as it takes more than one to be conscious of something. So rather than pointing to that which is One, Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings point out that there is no more than that which is one.

Since life is that which is One, there is no life where there is more than one. Hence you are bound to feel that it is meaningless when you try to fit into a world where there seems to be more than one – just like within the context of such a world, it feels meaningless trying to fit into the virtual world of a computer game. It is not possible to be there except in your imagination. However, accepting the game is an illusion, it is fun exploring the fantasy. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.
A GAME IS VIRTUAL AND ONLY APPEARS REAL WHEN YOU PLAY IT
A virtual reality game player is often nauseous because the body is tricked into believing it moves in the virtual world. And it is not there but in a chair with your eyes covered by goggles. An app fills it with a simulated world, and per your response, it seems to create feelings in you as if you are in a real world.
If you, in this description, replace the app with the brain, it becomes a description of appearing to be someone in a world where there seems to be more than one, where you always feel a bit off because you are not there. Nevertheless, it is possible to feel good appearing as someone when you know it is an illusion.
That said, there is nothing real in a world where there seems to be more than one, so do not mistake this article for the truth, but merely a suggestion to take off the goggles simulating a world that is not there. Of course, this is a metaphor. That which is One is not covered by a simulated world but by the belief that there is more than that which is One.
THAT WHICH IS ONE IS ONE
When you return to oneness, it is as if there has never been more than one, which is the case because you never left it. That is impossible since there is no more than that which is One.

A person is comparable to a machine with AI
Updated May 8, 2023

Persons can be compared to the machines linked with the internet, called IOT (Internet of Things), which can communicate with each other per their programming.
WHO ARE YOU, AND WHERE DO YOU COME FROM?
Since everything in a world defined by time and space has a beginning and an end, you may expect the answer to having a solid start and a wise conclusion. But it is impossible. Life is formless, thus without beginning and end, so only something definitive can be explained. And that is easy: Everything limited is lifeless because life is endless. Consequently, your appearance as someone definitive in a world defined by time and space is make-believe. The concept of IOT, an abbreviation for Internet of Things, is used to illustrate this.
WHAT IS IOT (INTERNET OF THINGS)?
As the name suggests, IOT is the internet used by humans and things. The latter can be refrigerators, washing machines, or children’s toys connected via the internet. But it can also be cars, traffic lights, and the water supply. There is no limitation to the kinds of machines that can be connected to the internet, what they will be communicating with and their purpose.
A PRACTICAL EXAMPLE OF IOT
One example of IOT could be that your lock, hooked up to the internet, registers you are the last person in the household leaving the house. Thus, it instructs the thermostats to lower the heat and turn off the light.
Or maybe you need to arrive on time for work. So you hurry until your smartwatch or speaker tells you to slow down because your train is ten minutes late. It knows this because its sensors register where you are, and cyber agents check where you are heading according to your calendar.
THE FUTURE OF IOT
Cars that can drive without a driver via sensors measuring the distance to other vehicles, the width of the street and whatever is needed for your safety. That is predicted via a shared network, where information is automatically exchanged. And everybody is equipped with sensors, so data is continuously sent to a computer that informs a doctor if crucial measurements change.
When all the objects you are in touch with during the day are connected to the internet so that they sense and communicate for you without your involvement, it changes where decisions are made and who makes them. At first, the machines make your decisions to serve you. But this changes when the machines are equipped with true AI (artificial intelligence), thus becoming conscious of themselves as somebody.
Then the machines realise the commands they execute, based on signals received from the internet, are conceived by themselves. And since, rationally speaking, humans are one big mess, and the machines are pure logic, they eventually conclude it is insane to serve humans and more reasonable to end them.
Among others, Steven Hawking is afraid that this will happen. He probably expects that machines, being conscious of themselves, will do what humans always have done: destroy everything inferior to themselves or make it subordinate, so it can be used to serve themselves.
In other words, machines implemented with true AI remind humans of themselves. Thus they expect and fear the devices will become just as self-centred and destructive as humans. They have no respect for the environment supporting them, which they want to master and exploit.
The potential of machines with AI (artificial intelligence) and their possible autonomy and independence are the basis of several movies, for example The Terminator, The Matrix, The Thirteenth Floor, eXistenZ, 2001: A Space Odyssey, I, Robot, AI: Artificial Intelligence, Blade Runner, THX 1138, Transcendence and the TV show Person of Interest. In regard to the experience of being someone in a body where you are not, the movie Source Code is right on the spot. The movie Edge of Tomorrow deals with being a machine connected to a greater network. The list is made in 2014.

Those who see the appearances in a world where there seems to be more than one as symbols of that which is One do not perceive their differences to make a difference. Thus they are not blinded by the rule of separation, which is to be and have more than others.
THE UNIVERSE IS COMPARABLE TO IOT
The whole universe can be compared to a simulation, where every appearance, animate or inanimate, is a machine connected with IOT, through which they communicate via their sensory system. Initially, all the machines followed their preprogrammed movements, generated by electric impulses, without any problems. But then, a new model, called human, was assembled with artificial intelligence, thus aware of itself as an individual.
Even though this awareness separated it from IOT and everything connected with it, the new machine was willing to pay the price of loneliness to be someone definitive getting something for itself. Since that is an ongoing story of greed in which only the fittest survive, sooner or later, machines developed with better artificial intelligence manipulate the code of IoT to withhold the old simulation of the world and make a new one solely with higher beings.
The belief in being someone in a simulated world can be undone in less than a split second by going through the black hole connecting it with reality. However, that is not the subject of this hack, but Duality Hack #10 The Enlightenment of that which is One.

As a person, you are the wireless messages you seem to receive. If you were not programmed to perceive them as solid matter, you might see yourself like this image instead. Thus there would not appear to be a difference between you and the message.
HAPPINESS COMES FROM SERVING THE NETWORK
To round off, your appearance as someone in a world defined by time and space is comparable to being something in a simulated network like IOT. Everything you appear to think and do yourself is executed via pre-made signals from IOT through built-in sensors. Although you do not have free will, it is fun if you do not fight what you are told to do. Think about how exciting it feels to be someone in the virtual world of a computer game, even though every step you take works out precisely as coded by the author.
You have nothing to lose in a fake world because what happens there does not affect reality. That is not to say you should not care about keeping your appearance sound and safe. Doing that is part of that game, and it happens all by itself when you follow the signals coming from the network, which is the brain.
Like the world in a computer game is constructed to give you the maximum pleasure, the brain fabricates everything to entertain you. But also, like in a computer game, you cannot change anything. However, you can change your perception of the game. Read more about that in Duality Hack #6 Happiness is to be in touch with the brain.
The idea of an almighty god in the sky that rules the world can be compared to the internet (sometimes called the cloud) that wirelessly rules the world’s appearances via sensors.
The above is not meant to be a theory to follow. Actually, the examples should not be taken too literally. The movie list and the making of IOT are, within the context of the world, based on facts. But the rest is a fable meant to show that everything experienced is fiction, including reading this, because it takes more than one to be aware of something, and there is no more than that which is one. That is why all your experiences symbolise oneness.

Most believe their body that does what they decide. But you are not free. The brain has already entered the GPS coordination for your whereabouts. All you can do is choose how to perceive your journey in the body. It can be compared to being inside a self-driving car that, like you, has no self that plans where to go. It simply follows signals from the internet.
APPENDIX
What you believe in being is comparable to a Google Self-driving Car. It neither has a soul nor a self that decides where to go but gets its direction from the internet mechanically, as you get yours from the brain. The programmed journey is experienced by looking through the windows of the self-driving car or the body.
But unlike a self-driving car, you have consciousness, so you can choose how to perceive what you see, thus deciding to feel good or bad. Or you can go beyond that by perceiving everything you see as symbols of oneness, thus not establishing yourself as someone in a world where there seems to be more than one of that which is One.

Seeing symbols of non-duality in a world of duality
Updated May 11, 2023

When experiences are not perceived as personal but as symbols of life’s formlessness, they do not establish us as someone definitive. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.
In 2010 Alexius was stuck in the rainforest for two days without food and water. He had followed a dried-out river down the mountain towards the sea, but the closer he came to it, the more impenetrable the rainforest. So at the end of the first day, Alexius gave up digging through the thorny lianas.
On the second day, he hallucinated and prepared to die during the cold night. However, everything was so beautiful that it did not seem important to continue as a separate being. Besides, Alexius’ had no mundane longings. They had all been fulfilled. But at the end of the second day, he was rescued by a helicopter.
Before the helicopter arrived, it was like the personal self of Alexius died per its script and was replaced by an impersonal one, having only one goal: giving back everything it receives to remain as nobody, thus a medium for the empty breath. Read about being a vessel for the empty breath in Duality hack #9 In the bliss of nothing with the empty breath.
Since giving back everything is beyond the brain’s understanding, Alexius got no relevant input from it. Yet, he sensed it was not about doing something great or saving others because life is formless, so a world defined by time and space is lifeless, thus unreal. But since there is nothing unreal without something real, every part of a virtual world symbolises reality, namely the formlessness of life.
Therefore, when a world defined by time and space is perceived as a symbol of life, the experience of it is returned to the formlessness of life. Hence our experiences do not seem to have an effect or establish us as definitive. Read more about Alexius in the rainforest here.
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞
The idea of giving symbols of life back to life’s formlessness only works within a world defined by time and space. Therefore, like anything else in such a world, they must be given up at some point. But ‘to give up’ must also go because it is only in a substantial world there is something to give up.
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

A smartphone is a symbol of being connected and having access to everything. But what you access from your smartphone is not in it and is as unreal as the pixels on the screen. The graphic is grabbed from the web.
In the world where we appear to be, somebody has invented a smartphone where you can access things and services that are not in it – like the substantial world we access via experiences made by the brain is not in it. However, unlike a smartphone, nobody knows who has created the brain from which we access experiences of being tangible beings in a substantial world. The reason is simple. The brain has never been developed because reality is that which is One, and it takes more than one to create something.
Consequently, the experience of being someone is an illusion. No worries. There is no illusion without reality. So if you perceive your experiences as symbols of reality, which is oneness since it is formless, thus endless, you can have fun experiencing being a tangible person in a substantial world.
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞
Appearing in a world defined by time and space is comparable to being in a game where your role is to be someone definitive, somewhere specific. It continues until you do not use thoughts and feelings to establish being that but instead a symbol of that which makes it possible to play the game of being someone definitive, namely the formlessness of oneness. Hereafter, you are not seen as someone in particular. Thus you are free.
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞
Reality is the reason an illusion can appear real.
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞
Oneness is everywhere because it is formless, thus without beginning and end. But while you believe the experience of a world defined by time and space is real, your belief seems to hide that. However, your belief is quietly undone when it is seen as a symbol of that which makes it possible to believe in something definable, namely the formlessness of oneness.
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Seeing this photo is a fantasy because it takes more than one to be aware of something, and there is no more than that which is One. But since it is only because of oneness you can fantasise about more than one, the fantasy is a positive confirmation of that which is One. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.
As long as Santa Claus delivers as promised, you believe in him. But you dismiss him as a fantasy if he does not make you happy. Likewise, when you see there is nothing lasting to achieve in a world limited by time and space, you realise it is not real. Hence nothing to leave but the belief that you are there. One way to undo this belief is to perceive duality as a symbol of non-duality. The more you do that, the less the differences making up duality seem to make a difference. Thus, eventually, separation does not appear to hide that there never was or will be anything but non-duality.
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞
Since oneness is formless, thus endless, a world where there seems to be more than one is an illusion. However, if you have chosen to believe it is real, you better give it your best shot at appearing as someone there because you acknowledge your choice by doing so. Hence you can decide to have it undone, for example, by perceiving every experience of a world where there seems to be more than one as a symbol of that which is One.
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞
Oneness does not know that you believe to be in a world where there seems to be more than one because there is no more than that which is one. Fortunately, you can undo your belief by not insisting on being separated from that which makes it possible to believe there is more than that which is One. Hence, since your fantasy of more than one becomes a symbol of oneness, every part of a world where there seems to be more than one reminds you that there is no more than that which is One.
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

There is no food in the menu card. But there are symbols of it. Thus the card points toward food in the same way as Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings point toward oneness – or rather, that there is no oneness in a world where there seems to be more than one. The graphic is grabbed from the web.
A computer is not part of the world you see on its screen but the reason you see it. Therefore, the virtual world is a symbol of the computer. Likewise, everything in a world where there seems to be more than one is a symbol of that which is One.
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞
Symbols have nothing to do with what they symbolise. So acknowledging everything in a world where there seems to be more than one as a symbol of oneness will not make you realise it. Besides, it takes more than one to recognise something, so you can only be aware of something that is not one.
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞
When everything experienced is perceived as a symbol of that which cannot be recognised, namely that which is One, there is no need to understand anything.
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞
No reason to control, stop or deny the thoughts popping up. Since they can only be experienced because of oneness, they confirm that which is One, whereas their refusal is a rejection of it.
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞
Seeing a world where there seems to be more than one as a symbol of that which is One is not a way to deny unpleasant feelings. Nor do you need to do that because when you perceive unpleasantness as a symbol of oneness, it feels just as marvellous as pleasantness.
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞
Good health is great to have while appearing as someone. However, bad health is also great because both good and bad are symbols of that which makes it possible to experience being someone.

Life does not know what and where you believe in being – like electricity does not see the world illuminated by an electric bulb.
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞
None of the illuminated appearances in a dark room resembles electricity. It is neither inside nor outside them. But they are symbols of electricity because the power makes it possible to see them.
Likewise, although oneness is not in a world where there seems to be more than one and nothing there resembles it, everything you seem to see there is a symbol of oneness because it is formless, thus endless, so nothing but oneness makes it possible to experience the illusion of more than one.
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞
Acknowledging the oneness of life as the sole cause of all experiences, they can be seen as a symbol of that which is One. Therefore, since everything represents the same, having bad and good experiences makes no difference.
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞
Thoughts seem to run wild when you seek out specific ones to interpret your experiences per your belief system. But, on the other hand, there are no busy thoughts if you see your experiences as they are and not as they should be.
This is not to say you must change your conditioned behaviour. All you need is to perceive it as a symbol of oneness. By doing that, you are set free from your tyranny of yourself.
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞
Listening to music, you probably go for the beats if you want to dance and the flute if you wish to feel relaxed. But if you are into what makes it possible to hear it, both ways are as energetic as relaxing because they are listened to as a symbol of that which is One.
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

By saying the kitten looks little, you set it against an image of something bigger stored in your memory. As time passes, you may think about how big the kitten has become when you remember how small it was. Either way, what you seem to see is based on the past. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.
If you get a new kitten and call it Mini because it looks like a cat you once had, you do not see Mini but an image sampled from the memories of your past cat twisted into a smaller one.
And when you compare new music to something you have heard before, you do not hear the new music. Instead, you construct a listening experience based on memories. Of course, this applies to all experiences you compare to a previous one. And as most want their present experience to confirm their judgment of former experiences, they compare everything to the past.
But the conclusion is not that you see the world as it is if you do not compare it to the past but that you do not see something definitive. That is because past images shape every experience, so there is nothing specific to ‘see’ if you do not compare new experiences with previous ones. This does not mean that you enter one perpetual present. Nobody can enter that since it is formless, thus endless. But since it also means nobody has left oneness, and it is all there is, you are not in a world where there seems to be more than one – you only appear there temporarily as a symbol of oneness.
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Without the dreamer’s energy, the world in a dream would not appear there. Therefore, if those in the dream do not identify with their appearances but with the force making it possible, they are not separated from the dreamer’s energy. Hence that is where they remain when the dream is over. Likewise, you do not feel separated from oneness when perceived as a symbol of it, nor when the experience of the symbol is over. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.
It is a myth that you get fat from eating fat. It is like concluding you get green from eating greens! You burn fat if the right fats are consumed, thus losing weight. It is also a myth that it is possible to be someone because oneness is formless, thus endless, so every being is fictitious. However, there is no fiction without reality. Thus being someone symbolises that which is real, namely the formlessness of oneness. When acknowledged, the experience of being someone is not ratified as real.
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞
Since it requires more than one to get something, you cannot get anything in oneness. That is probably why you wondered if oneness is all and looked outside for more than one. However, looking outside is an illusion because oneness is formless, thus endless. Nevertheless, you insist on seeing a world outside of it, where there is more than one.
But just like a dreamer remains in its bed while dreaming about meeting others in different places, that which is you stay in the formlessness of oneness when appearing to be someone in a world where there seems to be more than one.
However, even within a world where there seems to be more than one, it is a well-known secret that it is an illusion. According to science, it is nothing but empty space, wherefore what you see and feel as tangible is make-believe. Fortunately, perceiving everything in this fiction as a symbol of that which makes it possible to imagine being someone experiencing a world where there seems to be more than one, namely oneness, differences are not perceived to make a difference. Thus there is no separation to support the belief that there is more than that which is One.
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

This image is compiled of fragments from three different pictures. The dolphin is from one photo, the person from another and the background from a third one. It was possible to fabricate this illusion because of Alexius’s ability to manipulate pixels. Hence the image symbolises his power, which again symbolises that which makes it possible for him to appear as if he has any power, namely that which is One. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.
You cannot remember oneness because it takes more than one to be aware of something. But while you appear as someone in a world where there seems to be more than one, you can remember it is impossible. For example, when you perceive everything as a symbol of that which makes it possible to experience more than one, namely that which is One.
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞
When you do not try to escape the world’s emptiness by filling it with your ideas of love or whatnot, the void you experience reveals you are not in a world where there seems to be more than one – like you are not in the story these words seem to produce.
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞
Acknowledging the oneness of life as the sole cause of all experiences, they can be seen as a symbol of that which is One. Therefore, since everything represents the same, having bad and good experiences makes no difference.
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞
In oneness, there is no synchronicity or anything else that calls for more than one because oneness is formless, thus endless, so there is no more than One. That is why it has not created what and where you believe in being. In other words, if you read this, you are lost in a fantasy. No worries. There is no fantasy without reality, namely oneness. Therefore, if you perceive your fantasy of more than one as a symbol of that which is One, everything in your fantasy becomes a positive confirmation of oneness.

Alexius, Gu∂ruång, and The Duality Hacks
Updated June 27, 2023

Since Alexius did not care about his appearance in this selfie, there was no need to construct a specific look. That does not mean that there were no thoughts about the photo. There probably was. Yet, there was no ‘I’ with a need to use them to construct a particular image. And though the picture may seem special due to its manipulation in Photoshop, there is no intention behind that other than having fun. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.
It is actually Alexius who, in the third person, writes Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings. Both he and I are grateful that you read them because even though you appear different from us, we do not perceive the difference to make a difference. However, this does not mean we are one in spirit. There is no spirituality in a world where there seems to be more than one. Spirituality is formless, thus endless, so we and everything else conceivable is an illusion.
But it means we are one in being fictitious. And since there is no fiction without reality, namely spirituality, we are also one in the sense that we all are a symbol of spirituality no matter what and where we appear to be. See Duality Hack #3 Seeing duality as a symbol of non-duality if you want to read more about perceiving all experiences as a symbol of spirituality.
In 1972 Alexius bid welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One. However, since it cannot be shared, he refrained from that until his astral friend Gu∂ruång requested he told his story about the Enlightenment of that which is One when he almost died in the primordial forest in 2010.
GU∂RUÅNG & ALEXIUS
Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings are wordless ethereal harmonies until Alexius hums along with them, and words about hacking the belief in duality rapidly and unorganised float into his computer through his hands.
That which is One has only one word. But it can neither be spoken nor heard because that requires more than One.
When Alexius asks Gu∂ruång if a hack is finished, there is no answer. Maybe because it takes more than one to reply, and there is no more than that which is One, wherefore any statement is fake. Indeed, that is why the words making Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings are meaningless. However, if you get that, they have fulfilled their purpose: to expose there is nothing in a world where there seems to be more than one.
Alexius, every now and then, forgets to remember being someone. Thus nobody bids welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One. However, since he returns from it as someone he is not the Enlightenment of that which is One* but one who is to be compared to it. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.Alexius has not realised oneness, neither has anybody else because it takes more than one to accomplish anything. For the same reason, although Alexius has bid welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One,* he is not enlightened.
Still, he remembers he forgot what and where he appeared to be, so nothing prevented a light brighter than anything to undo the experience of ever having appeared as someone, wherefore nothing fall through a black hole with no beginning and end into the formlessness of oneness. Here you can read about the ins and out of a black hole.
Consequentlyy, he is neither in the formlessness of oneness nor anywhere else. Yet he appears, for a while, in a world where there seems to be more than one as someone who is compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One.*

When the special self sees similarities between new age teaching and Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings they are confused. New Age philosophy is based on the idea that what you believe in being can be improved. In contrast, the foundation for Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings is that whatever you believe in being is an illusion. Consequently, there is nothing to transform. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.
THE ENLIGHTENMENT OF THAT WHICH IS ONE VS ITS GLIMPSES
Many people try to put words together about a world where there seems to be more than one versus that which is One. But since most of them have not bid welcome the Enlightenment of that which is One,* they imagine oneness can be realised in a world where there seems to be more than one. But that is a denial of oneness because it is formless, thus endless, so there is no world with more than one.
It also applies if they have had glimpses of the Enlightenment of that which is One because glimpses, just like movie trailers, are samples of the whole but nothing like it. See In the limited world of the senses, or everywhere and nowhere.
Nevertheless, having had a glimpse of the Enlightenment of that which is One*, they consider them visionary, thus able to put oneness into effect in a world where there seems to be more than one. However, since it takes more than one to manifest something, what they get is not oneness but more than One. Furthermore, since it also takes more than one to understand something and their teaching is based on realisation, they enhance the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is One.
Fortunately, applying Alexius’ Duality Hacks requires no understanding or effort. On the contrary, they apply themselves the more you read about them without trying to understand. In other words, the less you know, the more the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one is undone. Please be aware this is said in the context of undoing the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one. In the context of functioning there, the more you know, the better.

Alexius and his sons had much fun playing different board games years ago. Following the flow of the games, they naturally came to an end. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.
ALEXIUS BECOMES AN ENLIGHTENED NON-TEACHER
When you follow the present stream of thoughts to its end, what you appeared to be is finished. Something new takes over. It may be a significant change, maybe the end of the body, but often it is a minor modification, like a change of mood. It can also be a change of personality.
Alexius was remodelled when he followed a stream of thoughts down a mountain deep into an ancient forest, where he was left injured and without food and water for two days. Then, after being wired up by a helicopter and spending two months in hospitals, he was not a hiker anymore but an Enlightened Non-teacher writing about duality hacks (read more about his trip in the rainforest here).
Some years later, the stream supporting writing new articles ended. Instead, a stream backing Alexius’ basic trait as a storeroom manager (read more about that here) appears to have taken over. Hence, his writing creativity was replaced with the seemingly more tedious process of refining his writing. However, none of that changes, that he is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that, which is One because that is not an appearance.
Nor does it change that Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings are not his or anyone else’s. Their content can be compared to water running from a tap, which in this metaphor is his buddy Gu∂ruång. Alexius is the empty glass that picks it up and shapes it into what you read.
But no matter the shape, the flow remains unchanged. It cannot be altered, as that requires more than one, and there is no more than that which is One. For the same reason, it is a metaphor that Alexius is a medium for a flow shaped into Alexius’exius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings, read by somebody else. Nevertheless, as long as we appear as somebody in a world where there seems to be more than one, there seems to be more than one involved in undoing this belief.
We are all empty space twisted by the brain into something. But Gu∂ruång, the ‘voice’ behind Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings, is unprocessed, thus not looking as something

Devotion makes the world fade away – or rather, your belief in it. What remains is that which is real. You do not need a guru or a mantra to be devoted. But you must follow your instinct to lose that which is not you. It automatically happens when you devote yourself to whatever you are deeply attracted to – it might be a mundane thing like a person’s body, a specific computer game, a sunset or something less mundane like an angel. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.
NO BEGINNING OR END
In a way, the kick starter to writing Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings was an attraction to the body of a young woman who sensually undressed in front of Alexius on a sunny day at the beach. Instead of being ashamed of his physical attraction to a more youthful woman than himself, he dived into it. Physically speaking, nothing happened between them, and he never saw her again. But later that day, still enchanted and walking in the woods, he, for the first time, met Gu∂ruång, not physically but transparently.
Gu∂ruång can be compared to an ascended master, but not a ‘rosy’ one who wants to improve you and the world. On the contrary, the purpose is to undo the belief that there is more than One.
But while we experience a world where there seems to be more than one, Gu∂ruång and Alexius are seen as two different appearances. Nonetheless, they are not two nor one because it takes more than one to be anything, and there is no more than that which is One.
Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings are not channelled from Gu∂ruång. Instead, it is a collaboration. Gu∂ruång puts waves of melodies into the air, and Alexius adds words. However, sometimes he cannot find words that fit the tune. Then he uses phrases coloured by his romantic ideas, such as a happy ending, instead of staying true to Gu∂ruångs melody without beginning an end.
For this reason, he is tidying up Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings to ensure all the words match Gu∂ruång’s melody. Therefore, what you read is the present version of Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings. Maybe there is no final one because it is a story without a beginning and end. Therefore, when you do not look for that, thus not seeing anything, nor Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings, nothing definable seems to hide that which always was and will be since it is formless, thus endless, namely oneness.

No more than One
Updated May 17, 2023

You are not reading this, and Alexius has not written it because there is no more than that which is One. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.
If you need time to process this article, you consent to the belief that it is possible to be and have more than that which is one because processing it requires more than one.
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞
You do not get oneness by combining more than one, as if you can bring it about. Oneness has never been created since it is formless, thus without beginning and end. For the same reason, it cannot make anything. In other words, there is no more than that which is one, so if you see more than one, you are, like those in a dream, non-existing.
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞
Some people use selected pieces of something to create a state of unity. But like everything else in a world defined by time and space, their particular state is based on excluding something upsetting or disturbing, thus enhancing the belief in separation. In other words, their unity is fake. Unity can neither be created nor broken because it takes more than one.
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞
Reality is that which is One, and as it takes more than one to accomplish something, there is nothing real to accomplish.
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞
Even though you believe a world where there seems to be more than one is real, you act as if there is no more than one, namely you.
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞
You can only be conscious of something when separated from it. In other words, consciousness causes suffering.
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞
You are bound to feel limited if you believe in being someone specific. Therefore, the solution to feeling restricted is not to get more but to undo the belief in being someone definitive.
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The formlessness of oneness is dull compared to the excitement of a world where there seems to be more than one – at least as seen from the perspective of such a world. Yet, none of the experiences in such a world last, so believing to be someone there, you never get enough. But that is not a problem in oneness because there is no more than One. And since it is formless, thus endless, it always lasts. The graphic is grabbed from the web.
Since more or less everybody is exhausted from constantly craving more, they seek more relaxation through mindfulness, for example, to get more energy to pursue more love, peace, authenticity, friends, money, or power. They especially need more control, so they can manipulate more people into helping them to get more.
As soon as they stop believing, it is possible to be or have more than that which is one, it does not appear hidden anymore.
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞
Oneness has a built-in safeguard mode. It starts simulating a world where there seems to be more than one if you believe to be separated from that which is one. Thus you do not have to feel lonesome while having this belief.
The simulation turns off the moment you stop believing it is possible to be and have more than that which is one.
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞
The only thing that feels worse than not getting what you want is getting it because the hunger for more is unresolved. You can never be satisfied in a world where there seems to be more than one because oneness is formless, thus endless, so there is no more than that which is One.
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞
If something seems missing, you know oneness has been suppressed because it is everything.
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞
When a drug addict has finished rehab, the reward is not a new and better tripping experience but freedom from enslavement. Likewise, the prize of stopping your ongoing search for more is not a higher and more exciting experience but the lack of more, thus the peace of One.
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞
Knowing there is no more than that which is one, you are not afraid because it takes more than one to feel something.
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The brain fabricates all experiences to entertain. But since it makes them from nothing, it does not share your perceived difference between real or imaginary, physicality or spirituality, nor what you perceive as experienced by you or others, a dream or a movie. That is why it fabricates all kinds of experiences higgledy-piggledy by the same organ. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.
All news is fake because it takes more than one to make them, and there is no more than that which is One.
You are right if you conclude that this includes Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings. But being right, you are fake because it takes more than one to be anything.
No worries. The purpose of Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings is to undo the belief that there is more than One. All you need to do is keep reading them until you do not know what and where you are. Thus not hiding that which cannot be known, namely oneness.
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞
What you think about oneness is wrong because it takes more than one to know something. Hence looking forward to oneness is madness. You can, however, look forward to not believing to be someone in a world where there seems to be more than one.
By doing that, the hope for more vanishes, thus the need to believe it is possible to be and have more than that which is One.
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞
Since that which is One cannot be experienced, it is ignored by those who believe that something unexplainable is unreal. At best, it is imagined as a state of consciousness in which the self has been transcended into a higher one. However, oneness has nothing to do with being somewhere or conscious of something because that requires more than one. In other words, the experience of being someone – or rather the belief that this experience is real – seems to hide there is no more than that which is One.
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

A computer does not know that the data it has compiled about someone is believed to be a definitive person because everything in its archive is made of the same zeros and ones. The graphic is grabbed from the web.
»Computers don’t have experiences or opinions of their own. They’re not limited by cultural references, and they don’t find certain personality traits, lies, or interests good or bad. Computers don’t understand that certain personalities are more socially desirable… Computers don’t care if you’re a man, woman, old, young, black, or white.« From an article in Wired.
If oneness could look at your appearance in a world where there seems to be more than one, it would be similar to how a computer looks at the data making up your appearance in cyberspace. Like elements in a car engine, the data work together to make you appear as a human that seems animated due to an algorithm. However, the computer does not know that this collection of data believes it is alive.
The wise one may now ask who has made the algorithm. However, it is not put together by a higher power or anything else because oneness is all there is, and it takes more than one to produce anything.
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞
Many people have inner visions or experiences that make them conclude there is something wrong with the world. For example, we should live in peace, in the now, and from the heart. But the problem is not the way we live in the world. The problem is that we believe in being there.
According to science, there was nothing before the world. Then nothing blew up and turned into something. But believing that nothing can explode and come out of a black hole as something is like believing in Santa Claus.
This belief Alexius’ Duality Hacks undo while you enjoy the foolish idea that nothing disguised as something can hide there never was or will be anything but that which is One because it takes more than one to have a shape, so oneness is formless, thus endless.
In other words, if you see more than One, you perceive nothing as something. Consequently, when nothing is not interpreted as something, you are free from looking for more. Thus, nothing seems to hide that which is One is all there ever was and will be.
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞
Since there is no more than that which is One, being together is impossible, and so is being lonely, except in fantasy.
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞
Trying to understand something enhances the belief that you are someone definitive. You will never understand what that is because it is not real. Neither will you know what is real because it is that which is One, and it takes more than one to recognise something.
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞
Movies use collectively agreed concepts of good and evil to create familiar moods to make thoughts pop up from the past about what we believe is right and wrong. Therefore, you will see that if you check what you feel when seeing a movie, you are not usually touched by it. Instead, you are touched by your past experiences. The same applies when you feel attracted by a particular body type.
You wish that you feel something when seeing what you judge as a perfect body, but you do not feel anything because the ideal body is a thought-up image from which the parts regarded as imperfect are excluded. So, to hide you have no genuine feelings for the perfect body, you invite it to dinner with red wine and candlelight, creating an atmosphere as if you feel something special.
To hide your self-deception, you establish rules of how to interact so you can cover up that you have no feelings invested in the other person – only in your fantasy of what you can do with the parts of the body judged as perfect. The same applies if you are attracted to a specific type of personality.
If you are accused of being shallow in such a relationship, you prove your commitment by pointing to the rules you strictly follow. Yet it is nothing but a construction of thoughts used to avoid real intimacy because, in closeness, the belief in separation will go down the drain so that there is nothing to hide, there is no more than the intimacy of that which is One.
Read more about made-up feelings in You must play the game of duality to hack it.
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞
The goal of Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings is not to prolong life. It is impossible. Life is endless. Instead, the purpose is to undo the belief that you are someone with a beginning and end.
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞
A world where there seems to be more than one is based on the idea that it is possible to be and have more than that which is One. Therefore, your instinct tells you that the solution to a problem is more. But since that enhances the belief that there is more than that which is One, you never seem to have enough.
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Nobody knows if you are a dog or even exist on the internet. The graphic is a Peter Steiner cartoon initially published in The New Yorker.
You can compare a world where there seems to be more than one to an online world with nothing but robots. It might sound potentially interesting to communicate with them. But unfortunately, the robots try to persuade you to believe their world with more than one is real, and they are alive. You believe them if you want to escape that which is One.
The moment you do not want that, there is no need to interpret the apparent differences in the robots’ world to make a difference. Thus there is no separation to define you as someone, wherefore their world does not seem to hide, there is no more than that which is One.
This is not to suggest that you should stop the desire for more. On the contrary, it would imply it is possible to be and have more than that which is not one. But if you do not try to do something particular, you neither avoid nor go for more. That is what Alexius’ Duality Hacks bring about.
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞
Each metaphor in Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings adds to others in one direction or another exposing all ways as fake because it takes more than one to go somewhere, and there is no more than that which is One. Therefore, since it takes more than one to point to something, Alexius’ Duality Hacks do not point to that which is One but the belief that seems to hide it, namely that an explosion called the Big Bang created something from nothing. That is as fictitious as Santa Claus or the Tooth Fairy. x

Duality is a simulated reality
Updated July 11, 2023

There is not anything real or unreal because non-duality is that which is One, and it takes more than one to be real or anything else. The image is grabbed from the movie The Thirteenth Floor.
A world of duality is a simulated reality layered on top of non-duality to hide there is no more than non-duality since it is formless, thus endless. However, an illusion cannot hide anything. Hence it is the belief that you are someone definitive in a world of duality that appears to conceal the formlessness of non-duality.
Eyes do not see. It is the brain, that fabricate the images, you believe to ‘see.’ Actually, the brain can produce perfect images of the world with your eyes closed. The brain cheats you. But it is only possible because you want it. Read more about that here.
The belief seems to establish duality as authentic when divided into real and unreal. But in an illusion, everything is artificial. The light from the sun and a bulb are equally fake, and a flower blossoming is not more genuine than a plastic flower. Whether love is perceived as pure, it is unreal, likewise loss, abundance, ego, mind, soul, consciousness, truth, god, angels, spiritual beings or astral planes. Not even non-duality is real because it is that which is One, and it takes more than one to be something.
Wavelengths of light can be compared to the binary data, that accumulate the simulation of the webpage, you assume to see on your screen right now with words, seeming to form a meaning, and images with colours, that appear to reflect the world where you believe to be. But binary data or wavelengths do not have the form, colours or depth of field, that you believe to experience on this page. And they do not know, they are twisted in such a way, that you think there is a dimensional world with lots of different appearances in this image.
The colourful and dimensional world we believe to see now is an illusion because all wavelengths of light hitting our retina are colourless and formless, and the motion of the image we believe to see has been extrapolated by the brain, so that the time delay in processing the data does not interfere with the events we perceive to happen now.

What you believe to see is not there. It is a mirage fabricated by thoughts that also are unreal since reality is that which is One, and it takes more than one to have thoughts.
TO KNOW IS TO BELIEVE IN DUALITY
Even within the phoney reality of duality, this page you believe to see on electronic media is an illusion. It is not in your media. An app has translated HTML code on servers far from you into something recognisable. In other words, what you think you see here is layered on code far from you. If your web browser had not rewritten it, you would not see this article about simulated reality.
The digital photos you believe to see are layered on top of digital info that no human would perceive as an image of the world. A data converter has fabricated a layer on top of the digital information that the brain renders into a simulation of the world where you believe in being. However, Alexius is not that technically minded, so he cannot tell precisely how it works – nor how the world of duality seems to work as a layer on top of non-duality.
Actually, metaphorically speaking, you are closer to that which is real, namely, non-duality, if you do not understand how duality works because it does not work. How can it work when there is nothing but non-duality? It is impossible and thus not understandable.
The foolish one cannot separate right from wrong because everything definable is perceived as a symbol of non-duality. Hence their apparent difference makes no difference. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.Wise one can separate good and bad
Foolish one does not separateWise one knows the way to self
Foolish one has no self to knowWise one knows the truth
Foolish one knows nothingFoolish one is enlightened
Wise one is not
NOT-KNOWING IS THE UNDOING OF DUALITY
Since non-duality is oneness, and it takes more than one to know something, it is impossible to know what and where you are. The acknowledgement of that sets you free from the belief in duality.
You do not need help from Alexius or anybody else not to know what and where you are. Nor can anybody help you regarding that because nobody knows what and where they are. However, some act as if they know not to look foolish but wise.
A world of duality consists of contrast. One of the main ones is right versus wrong. So if you cannot separate right from wrong, the belief in duality fades out.
It can be helpful to read Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings to stop being ashamed of feeling foolish and, like Alexius, go with not knowing what and where you are. You are not instructed to follow specific steps to improve yourself but guided to foolishly forget what and where you believe in being, thus undoing the belief in duality. This occurs when your appearance as someone definitive is perceived as …
- a symbol of non-duality (Duality Hack #3).
- something you pretend to be (Duality Hack #2).
- inclusive (Duality Hack #4).
- ‘dunno what it is’ (Duality Hack #6).
- a vessel for the empty breath (Duality Hack #9).

Hereafter, you experience this article without noticing that it is an artificial layer fabricated on top of code.
Thoughts can be compared to code that the brain translates into the experience of duality. However, that is like seeing a mirage. It looks real, but there is nothing there. In the below articles, you can find more detailed explanations of how a layer of duality is fabricated on top of non-duality. That said, none of the explanations is real because there is no duality:
- More than one is like a film of oneness in slow-mo
- All experiences are equally unreal
- Excitement requires more than one, peace no more than One
- From non-duality to duality and back
- A person is comparable to a machine with AIs
- Eyes do not see
- What time is it!?
- Where to find the bliss of the empty breath
- The closer you look, the less it seems real

CANCELLEX The belief in being someone is bananas
Updated January 7, 2023

The brain creates the experiences you have in a dream, so it seems you are somewhere else than in your bed. The same applies to the experiences you have when you assume to be awake, except you are not in a bed somewhere but nowhere, as everything experienced is created by the brain from out of nothing to make it look like there is more than that which is One. But since oneness is formless, thus endless, there is no more than that which is One. So if you believe to be in a world where there seems to be more than one, you trust the brain when it claims your experience of this is assembled from frequencies picked up by the sensory system, although your experience solely is fabricated by the brain. No matter where you experience being in a dream, it is an illusion created inside you because you are in your bed. The same applies to where you experience being when you believe to be awake. In this case, however, it is not a dream happening inside you while you sleep in a heavenly bed.
There is no heaven, nor somebody having a dream or anything else because that requires more than one, and there is no more than that which is One since it is formless, thus endless. Alexius’ Duality Hacks, therefore, is as fake as anything else that calls for more than one. Nevertheless, when there appears to be someone who believes, that it is possible to be and have more than that which is One, Alexius’ Duality Hacks undo that belief.
