Unrestrained chaos ignites a take-off into ‘the empty breath’

Updated February 3, 2023

That which is One can be compared to a movie running so fast that no frames can be seen. A world where there seems to be more than one is the same film slowed down to the extent that it appears to consist of many different frames. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Contrary to common belief, oneness is not stillness but loudness. However, it is impossible to hear its extreme speed because it requires more than one. You could also compare oneness to an analogue movie played so fast that its frames cannot be seen or heard. In the context of this metaphor, a world where there seems to be more than one is a slowed-down version consisting of frames divided by time and space. Read more about that here.

Therefore, since it is not quietness but quickness that is the bedrock of oneness, you need to accelerate the slowed-down movie of oneness if you want to return to oneness. Hence hack #5.1 Uncontrolled speed leads to a state of not-knowing is not about slowing down thoughts or stopping them but not holding them back, so their uncontrolled speed ignites a take-off into the empty breath. It syncs the speedy thoughts in the low-frequency world of the outward-facing senses with the high-frequency world of the inward-facing senses, so they can be further accelerated in the world of the outward-facing senses without you going insane.

In other words, when thoughts move so fast that there is no time to hold onto them to establish you as someone in the world of the outward-facing senses, the inward-facing senses take over the perception of the world of the outward-facing senses. Thus you are in a state of not-knowing, which is pure bliss.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

When people tell you to slow down and relax via mindfulness, for example, they sabotage the fastest way to take it easy, which is not to prevent thoughts and feelings from setting off in all directions, so their unbound energy ignites a take-off into the empty breath. It synchronises the low-frequency world of the outward-facing senses with the high-frequency world of the inward-facing senses. Thus speedy thoughts and feelings are not felt to cause stress but tranquillity.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

If you do not project your feelings onto others but keep them in yourself, they build up the energy to ignite a take-off into the empty breath.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Please be aware that the above explanation about a world of the outward or inward-facing senses is as absurd as any other explanation because it requires more than one to explain something, and there is no more than that which is One since it is formless, thus endless. That said, since believing in a world where there seems to be more than one is foolish, you need crazy solutions.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Not interfering with the speed of thoughts and feelings, they step up and ignite a take-off into the empty breath that syncs the worlds of the outward and inward-facing senses. Therefore, since everything that seems specific in the low-frequency world of the outward-facing senses is absorbed by the abstractness of the high-frequency world of the inward-facing senses, it is not felt as something definitive. Hack #5.1 Uncontrolled speed leads to a state of not-knowing is about unlearning your conditioned ways of pacifying yourself through meditation and television, for example, and instead, step into the full uncontrolled speed of thoughts and emotions to ignite a take-off into the empty breath, that wipes your slate clean. Therefore, when you return to the world of the outward-facing senses, you are nobody pretending to be somebody. Read more about pretending in hack #1.3 Pretending to be someone definitive is liberation.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

You do not have to do something particular, like sitting in special postures, to take-off into the empty breath. Instead, whether active or inactive, you acknowledge your present chaos of thoughts and feelings without trying to shape them by a specific belief system, so their unbound energy can ignite a take-off to the empty breath

If you have already organised the chaos of thoughts and feelings per a specific belief system, there is no need to go back to chaos to ignite a take-off into the empty breath. Instead, you acknowledge your suppression by being only that. Therefore, since nothing is left to define, you are suppressed, you are not something specific. Hence the empty breath can enter.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

When trying to control, change or stop thoughts and feelings, they are slowed down. Thus they do not have the speed needed to ignite a take-off into the empty breath, where they lose their apparent meaning, thus their supposed power to make you appear as someone.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Like most people, you probably have systemised thoughts and feelings into an image of yourself as one of the good ones. However, thoughts and feelings do not support your mental picture when you are asleep. In dreams, you are both good and bad.

If it seems frightening to be as bad as good, you probably try to solve that when you wake up by perceiving your aggression in the dream as caused by others. But suppose you feel bad about the system you have set up to appear solely good and want to escape it. In that case, you acknowledge the ugly parts of the dream as yours, so their unedited energy can ignite a take-off into the empty breath. After that, the world experienced by the outward-facing senses is synced with the world of the inward-facing senses in which everything moves so fast and unorganised that there is no differentiation between good and bad, thus no dilemma.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

When the fear of the unknown is fully acknowledged by totally being it, what seemed powerful, is unveiled as nothing. Thus you are neither in hell nor heaven but the bliss of nothing.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Since any construction of thoughts can be used to ignite a take-off into the empty breath, and since a world where there seems to be more than one is a construction of thoughts, there is nothing in it which cannot be used to ignite a take-off into the empty breath. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Another way to get to the empty breath is to empty yourself of one or more of the psychological issues you have suppressed by projecting them onto the body. The fastest way to do this is to blame somebody for your present discomfort (read more about that here). It is much easier to see the psychological issues you have suppressed in yourself magnified in somebody else, thus knowing what to include by completely being what you see.

Since it leaves nothing to contrast what you see, there is not something to define it. Therefore since nothing bad defines you as good, you are neither good nor bad, wherefore you do not need to systematise thoughts and feelings as you are someone definitive. Hence, their chaos ignites a take-off into the empty breath. It syncs the world experienced by the outward-facing senses with the world of the inward-facing senses. And since the latter is abstract and becomes the base for seeing the world of the inward-facing senses, none of your psychological issues seem inappropriate anymore.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Not caring about your appearance in the world of the outward-facing senses, anything in it can ignite a take-off into the empty breath. For example, if you are wholly dedicated to someone or something and stick to it although it is unattainable, the intense energy can ignite a take-off into the empty breath.

Since no specific language has been established between humans and cats for sharing love, trying to do that often ignites a take-off into the empty breath. That is, of course, when you are the basic self. Trying to be special cats is not enough. Nothing is. But when not holding back the frustration of never getting enough, there is enough energy to ignite a take-off into the empty breath that replaces the disappointment of something with the bliss of nothing. Read about the two selves in hack #4.1 The basic self versus the special one.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Those who like to talk about others’ emotions have not felt them because if something is felt as it is, it is unveiled as nothing. Hence there is not something to talk about.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Trouble always follows in the footsteps of somebody, whereas nothing but bliss comes in the wake of nobody.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

When you avoid a feeling, it appears as something, whereas acknowledging it reveals that it is nothing. Thus you discover the absence of something is blissful. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Being entertained by something is all the meaning in a world where there seems to be more than one. See hack #4.2 The brain’s script and how to perceive it to feel happy. If you look for another meaning, you suppress the thoughts and feelings that do not support the political or spiritual concept you perceive as meaningful. However, exclusion makes you feel incomplete, and since you try to correct that by excluding more thoughts and feelings perceived as incorrect, not feeling good enough is enhanced.

And on it goes until you realise not suppressing thoughts and feelings, their natural energy ignites a take-off into the empty breath that wipes the slate clean, wherefore you feel fulfilled by sensing a world where there seems to be more than one as it is, namely, nothing twisted into something entertaining.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Taking deep breaths or, in any other way manipulating the breath is not beneficial for connecting with the empty breath because doing so enhances the belief in being in charge. The same applies to making yourself centred, balanced, focused or something else.

But the willingness not to hold back thoughts connects you with the empty breath because their uncontrolled energy ignites a take-off into it, whether you walk, sit, talk or whatnot. See Take-offs into the empty breath.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The more you limit yourself to being someone definitive, the more you feel like collapsing. To prevent that, you improve your definition until you feel so constrained that you burst into anger or stop giving a shit about holding yourself together. Thus the uncontrolled energy of the suppressed thoughts and feelings ignites a take-off into the empty breath. However, it does not help you escape your cage but the belief that you are in it.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

When you do not define what is going on so you can remain in the fantasy of being someone unique, unconfined thoughts or feelings repeatedly shoot off to ignite a take-off into the empty breath.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

If the present stream of thoughts or feelings is not manipulated or suppressed, its natural energy ignites a take-off into the empty breath. You can make up stories of love or anything else in its presence without leaving the empty breath because it sees the world where you believe in being as a blank computer screen. So although the stories you fabricate seem to disclose something, the screen remains empty.

In other words, it does not matter how you perceive the experiences produced by the brain when you are with the empty breath. You do not need the happiness from being in sync with the brain. You are in the bliss of nothing until you define it as something.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

If something seems to bother you, use the frustration to ignite a take-off into the empty breath so you can see that what you judge as something terrible is nothing. See Take-offs into the empty breath.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

What you believe in being and seeing is nothing but empty space. Thus not being and seeing something specific is a blissful revelation of emptiness. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

We like to believe the experiences created by the brain are real and not fantasy because they seem to confirm we are somebody instead of nobody. In other words, the desire to be somebody disguises that we are nothing, rendered into something by the brain to hide its nothingness.

Since it has taken the brain one second to fabricate the experience of someone reading this now, and the experience is made from nothing, there was not something one second ago. And since that is where the empty breath resides, you connect with it by not perceiving your present experience as something, thus going back one second in time to the nothingness unprocessed by the brain.

Should you wonder who sets this in motion or is wondering about it, the answer is nobody because there is nobody in empty space. Like there is nobody in a dream and not somebody making it. Nor is the dream inside the one appearing to experience it because it consists of nothing.

To make long short, what and where you believe in being is a construction of thoughts, that, just like a mirage, is experienced to be something until you take a closer look and see it is nothing. That look you get with the empty breath because it sees what it is itself, namely, nothing.

That is why it is best not to see the location and feel of the empty breath, described in the following article, What does the empty breath feel like, as definitive. The empty breath is not defined by time and space, and thus not something specific in a particular location one can feel precisely (see the paragraph The transparent sound of the empty breath in the following article What does the empty breath feel like?).

Also, be aware that the description of the empty breath in the following article is written by one who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One. So just like the concepts of the world in a computer game are accepted but not believed real, the experience of a tangible world in empty space is acknowledged but not perceived as substantial because there is nothing else than the formlessness of oneness. Consequently, the explanations in the following article about where the empty breath is a metaphor.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The peace you seek via mindfulness, quiet music, and whatnot does not have the energy to ignite a take-off into the empty breath. Actually, it has so little energy that you probably fall asleep and mistake heaven for being in dreams.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

The graphic, which is grabbed from the web, has been manipulated by Alexius.

We usually learn something by replicating someone. That is how we learned to walk and talk. However, connecting with the empty breath is not about learning but unlearning, so the purpose of this and the other articles in hack #5.1 Uncontrolled speed leads to a state of not-knowing and hack #5.2 The empty breath and the bliss of not believing to be someone is not to learn something but to unlearn everything you believe in knowing.

Therefore, how Alexius experiences the empty breath, as described in the following article What does the empty breath feel like? are not meant to be learned to know how to feel it but to give you an idea of what it is like to be an empty vessel for the empty breath. When you are that, your experience may differ from Alexius’ – like the same cup of tea can be experienced in many ways.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Read Alexius’ Duality Hacks until you feel so empty that a take-off into the empty breath automatically is ignited – or you are so tired of reading that you forget to control yourself and uncontrolled energy spontaneously ignites a take-off into the empty breath.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

In What does the empty breath feel like?, you can read more about the circles in this image, which graphically illustrates a few of the non-definitive rings you are surfing in the empty breath when connected with it.

However, they are not outside of you as in this image, which rather reflects the idea the special self has of the empty breath, namely that it is something it can control and thus exploit. Read more about the special self here.

But no matter what you believe in being, you do not exist because that which is One is formless, thus endless, and it takes more than one to live somewhere. Of course, this applies to the empty breath as well, but since it does not believe to be anywhere or has any intention of taking you somewhere, it is your way back to the formlessness of oneness.

That does not mean that it helps you realise oneness. That is impossible since it takes more than to discover something. But when every single memory of more than one turns into nothing, which occurs in a state of not-knowing after 20 minutes, 45 at most (read more about that here), there does not appear to be something hiding there never was or will be more than that which is One.
