‘The Enlightenment of that which is one’ cannot be seen

Updated May 17, 2022

The eye cannot see this pic. It is registered as light divided into red, green and blue by three taps in the eye. This info is sent to the brain, where the same organ process both so-called reality and imagined or virtual reality The three colors are mixed in such a way, that it appears to be an image of someting solid in the world, that can be defined by time and space, even though almost 99% of matter consists of empty space.

You do not see this image. Instead, it is registered as light divided into red, green, and blue by three taps inside the eye. This info is sent to the brain and processed by an organ that deals with both so-called reality and imagined or virtual reality. It mixes the three colours so that the blend appears to be an image of something defined by time and space, even though it is nothing but frequencies of light. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

PART 1:
The enlightenment of that which is One
cannot be known because it takes more than one to be aware of something. However, having been in a spiral of colours exploding into a bright white light that seems both opaque and formless, one may vaguely remember, it abruptly sucked out all thoughts about being someone in a world where there seems to be more than one and left them at the threshold of a black hole,* whereafter nothing gracefully fell through a neverending void into that which is one.

From the above, you may get the impression that the enlightenment of that which is One is a process over time. But that is not so – it happens simultaneously, or rather, it does not occur at all because it requires more than one for something to happen. That is why, when returning to a world where there seems to be more than one, it may take a long time to grasp you are to be compared to the enlightenment of that which is One.

If you experience something happening inside this man, you are mistaken because it takes more than one to be aware of something, and there is no more than that which is one. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

But the reason could also be that the enlightenment of that which is One has nothing to do with the merry-go-round stories the wannabes have made up about it – based on speculations and second-hand knowledge about stillness, silence, bliss, heaven and whatnot. You do not experience anything because you are abruptly destroyed. Nothing is left of what you believed to be in a world where there seems to be more than one. You never were in such a world, nor anywhere else because it takes more than one to be somewhere, and there is no more than that which is One since it is formless, thus endless.

INTERLUDE:
Since it requires more than one to understand something, you call it off the enlightenment of that which is One, if you try to process. And since it also takes more than one to get a second chance, this is out of the question. But, since oneness is formless, thus endless, you have never left it.

So if you believe to be in a world where there seems to be more than one, you do not need to return to oneness but undo this belief, which takes no time for the enlightenment of that which is One. Should you want to enjoy your belief while having it undone over time, you can apply any other duality hacks.

The Enlightenment of that which is One is not a way back to oneness because you have never left it. This is why there is nothing in the enlightenment of that which is One going back through a black hole into the formlessness of that which is One. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

PART 2:
To get a sense of the enlightenment of that which is One, you must empty yourself for all ideas about it. And then again, doing so will not help because it enhances the belief that you are someone definitive. And believing that is what fences off the enlightenment of that which is One. Therefore, do not try to implement this article in your way of seeing things, but use it to have your belief system undone.

The enlightenment of that which is One can be compared to being a door to oneness. But just like a door in a house has nothing to do with the house, the enlightenment of that which is One is not oneness. It has no doors because it requires more than one to have a door or anything at all. Nor is it in a world where there seems to be more than one, as there is no more than that which is one.

No worries. That which is you is not in a world where there seems to be more than one. Just like – in the context of such a world – you are not in the world of a computer game, even though it may feel as if you are because of the reactions you seem to have while pretending to be there. These reactions, however, are not caused by the world in the game – it has no such power – but how you choose to perceive it. In other words, the experience of being someone in a virtual world is an experience fabricated by yourself.

Likewise, the feeling of being in a world where there seems to be more than one is a fabrication, and just like the fabrication of your participation in a computer game is made while you appear as someone in a world where there seems to be more than one, so is the feeling of being there imagined made while that which is you is in that which is One.

There is nothing outside of that which is One, neither inside, because oneness is formless, thus without sides. However, this does not mean that oneness is nothing because formlessness is endless, hence everything. Consequently, it is a world where there seems to be more than one, that is nothing. And then again, this is not really so. That which is you is not imagining being in a world where there seems to be more than one while being in that which is One because it takes more than one to be somewhere. To spell it out, that which is you not anywhere because it is the formlessness of oneness.

Nevertheless, for some unexplainable reason, you experience being someone definitive in a world where there seems to be more than one. So, in the context of this experience, the enlightenment of that which is One is the door out of it because it undoes all experiences.

This door can also be compared to a hand gently comforting a child having a nightmare. Feeling comforted, the conditioned ways of reacting to the dream is temporarily forgotten. Thus nothing definable seems to hide the undefinable reality of oneness.

Maybe you wonder, who has conditioned the child? The answer is nobody. There is no child. It is an illusion, and those in the illusion asking this apparently clever question are doing it for one reason only, namely to make themselves appear real and not make-believe.

That said, you cannot compare the enlightenment of that which is One to anything in a world defined by time and space because any comparison is based on the past, and as time is viewed linearly, it seems to hide the enlightenment of that which is One.

Seen from the world of duality enlightenment, which represents the formlessness of non-duality, is very boring compared to all the excitement duality seems to offer.

The formlessness of oneness is very dull compared to the excitement of a world where there seems to be more than one – at least as seen from the perspective of such a world. Yet, none of the experiences in that world last, so believing to be someone there, you are always on the lookout for more, whereas if not being someone at all, there is nothing to hide the formlessness of oneness – and as formlessness has no end, it lasts forever. PART 3:
Meditation may result in the experience of something you interpret as infinity, purity, divinity or cosmic awareness, for example. But you will not experience the enlightenment of that which is One in meditation or somewhere else. It cannot be brought about because that takes more than one.

There is no way to achieve the Enlightenment of that which is One, since that requires more than one.

Even if the enlightenment of that which is One could be caused by you, you would probably not do it. Perceived from a world where there seems to be more than, oneness is incredibly dull. There is nothing to see or feel, nor higher consciousness. Thus it is not very interesting compared to the excitement you get in a world where there seems to be more than one from falling in love, having sex or whatnot.

The more a world where there seems to be more than one bores you, the less you feel like being there. Therefore, eventually, there does not seem to be more that which is one.

But suppose the enlightenment of that which is One is what you long for. In that case, it is best you are so disinterested in achieving something that you do not sense a highly bright light deletes the info of being someone, so there is no one to fall into the formlessness of oneness gently.

PS: It is, of course, only if you look for the experience of something specific that the formlessness of oneness seems so dull that you prefer to imagine being someone in a world where there seems to be more than one. And thus willing to pay the price, which is a constant feeling of failure because no matter how much more you seem to become or have, you are bound to lose it.

*) It may not be part of the Enlightened memories that the data of being someone is left at the threshold of a black hole. Instead, it is probably a conclusion made in retrospect.
