(√) How to perceive everything in the world as symbols of oneness?

Updated September 9, 2022

Most will know, that what you see in this image is not a man and a woman, but symbols of man and woman. Most also know, that the color or the look of the symbols in no way resembles actual men and woman. Unfortunately very few know, that all what they seem to experience in the world of duality is not real, but symbols of that which is, although the symbols in no way resembles that which is life.

What you see in this image is not a man and a woman but their symbols. Their colour or look does not resemble actual men and women. That is common knowledge. However, very few know that none of their experiences is real but symbols of that which is, although they do not resemble it. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Everybody knows that reading or hearing a word like water will not quench their thirst. The letters w + a + t + e + r are perceived as a symbol of that which will quench their thirst. This is not something they have to think about because, due to past experiences with water, they know the letters are just a symbol of it.

But in regards to perceiving everything in a world where there seems to be more than one as symbols of that which is One, you cannot know what oneness is because that requires more than one. However, you can realise that there is nothing other than that which is One, wherefore a world where there seems to be more than one must be a symbol of it.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

When something seems missing, you know oneness has been suppressed because it is formless, thus endless, so everything is always there.

Anxiety is related to the wish for more. First, you are worried about not getting it. Second, when you achieve it, you fear losing it. However, if everything is perceived as a symbol of that which is One, you always have enough. This does not mean you cannot look forward to seeing your children, for example. But it means you are not attached to a specific outcome of your wish because it symbolises oneness, regardless of the outcome.

Should you be attached to the outcome, it is not a problem. Attachment is also a symbol of that which is One. Whatever you think, feel or do or not think, feel or do are symbols of that.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

You are always protected when you see everything in the world as symbols of oneness because it takes more than one to be attacked.

The humidity that appears to be in this image cannot damage your electronic device because the picture is a simulation. Likewise, nothing in a world where there seems to be more than one can hurt that which is you, namely oneness, as it is formless, thus endless. Hence a world where there seems to be more than one is nothing but a simulation. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

In a game like Monopoly, the streets are marked with different colours, so it is easy to know where you are and what you have. But, of course, this knowledge is an illusion. You are not in Monopoly, and whatever you seem to hold there has no value.

To make the illusion of being in the world of Monopoly work, you must accept that the different colours represent various values, even though the colours are just painted on top of the same cardboard. You must also agree to appear as a tiny plastic car that slowly moves from street to street, as if they are far from each other, even though they are coloured squares tightly fitted together. Finally, you must submit to the goal of the game, which is to take everything from everybody so that you are the only one who has something.

That is how the game is. Without following its rules, you miss its fun. Likewise, when playing the game of more than One. It falls apart if you think we are at one and should share everything in love and peace.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

How to escape the illusion of more than One? This is like asking how to escape the world of Monopoly. There is nothing to leave because you are not there.

Likewise, that which is you is not a world where there seems to be more than one. Thus, putting a world where there seems to be more than one – or rather the belief in it – back in its box takes no time because oneness is timeless. One way of doing this is to see everything in a world where there seems to be more than one as a symbol of that which is One.

This recommendation is not meant to say that this is the best way. There is no right way in an illusion to return to that which is real. But you cannot go wrong this way. Whether you love or hate someone, the difference does not make a difference. Nothing matters when you perceive every experience as a symbol of that which makes it possible to have it. And should you not do that entirely but suppress specific experiences, you are still on track because denial is only possible due to oneness, thus a symbol of that.

The more everything in a world where there seems to be more than one is seen as a symbol of that which is One, the more you feel free. Thus, eventually, you do not feel like someone in a world where there seems to be more than one. Hence you are ready to put that world back in its black box.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Perceiving everything as a symbol of that which is One will not change the world’s appearances. But since they all symbolise the same, their apparent difference makes no difference. Hence, believing in a world where there seems to be more than one makes no sense. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Since a world where there seems to be more than one, according to Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings, is make-believe, so is, of course, this statement. Nevertheless, you cannot appear in such a world without believing in something, so it is up to you what to believe.

Suppose it makes you feel good believing that a world where there seems to be more than one is an illusion. In that case, you could choose to see everything in that world as a symbol of oneness. Therefore, since nothing seems to make a difference, separation does not appear to hide that reality is which is One.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

That which is one is formless, thus endless. Hence it cannot know that you look for more in a world where there seems to be more than one. But no matter how much more you become or have, you feel limited because there is no more than that which is One. To overcome that, you may stop desiring to be and have more and become more pure and detached from the world. But this is just another variant of looking for more.

All you need to undo the desire for more is to change the purpose of your appearance in a world where there seems to be more than one. If it is to see everything as a symbol of oneness, differences make no difference. Thus it does not matter if you get more or not.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Since life is formless, thus without beginning and end, everything definable is lifeless. Therefore, you are not alive if you believe to be someone definitive. However, you symbolise the formlessness of life because, without it, you could not experience being something.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

You cannot choose to undo the belief in a world where there seems to be more than one because that confirms there is more than one. Fortunately, there is nothing to choose when you do not interpret your experiences as real but symbols of that which is real, namely oneness.

The projector of a movie is not in film protecting on a screen. And the world on the screen is not in the projector. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Everything in a world defined by time and space has an end. So neither love nor anything else will save you from dying. But what does not die is that which made it possible to create a fantasy of a world defined by time and space. In Alexius’ Duality Hacks this has many names, such as the formlessness of oneness, spirit, non-duality, life or that which is one. It is not in a world defined by time and space, though.

You can compare such a world to a movie and the formlessness of oneness to the projector. The movie projector is not in the projected, and the way you perceive that is not in the projector. It does not know how you perceive what it projects – and it could not care less because what it projects is not real. This does not mean you should renounce the world you seem to experience. On the contrary, you can love or hate anything in the world, as you feel like. It does not matter because what you see is not there.

What matters, though, is that you do not hang onto love or anything else in the world where you experience being. If you do, you will take up imagined space when, so there is no room for you in oneness since it is spaceless.

In the context of the movie metaphor, the Enlightenment of that which is One can be compared to unfiltered light coming from the projector. No world is to be seen – and that is why one who is to be compared to the Enlightenment of that which is One knows, everything that appears to have a form is fake. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Nobody expects a movie projector to be in the world it projects on a screen because neither that nor anything else physical can be part of a virtual world.

In other words, the world of a movie is not a manifestation of the physical world, and though it is experienced due to the projector, it cannot be experienced in it, nor has it any power to change it. All the projector can do is project what is added in front of it.

Anything can seem real in an illusion. It is a matter of believe.

When perceiving everything as a symbol of that which makes it possible to experience something, it does not matter what it appears to be. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Believing to be someone in a world defined by time and space can be compared to experiencing you are part of a movie world. Though oneness is used to project this fantasy of a world defined by time and space, it does not know it. Nor does it know that you believe to be in it rather than oneness because you prefer the excitement of more than one over the peace of that which is One. Nor does it know what you believe in having a beginning and end. It does not know of time but sees the reel with the movie as a whole, wherefore everything happens simultaneously. See What time is it!?

Therefore, in the context of the movie metaphor, if you are not identified with the projected but with what is projecting it, nothing changes when the movie is over because the projector is still there, as it also was while it appeared to cast a film of a world defined by time and space. One way of not identifying with the projected is to perceive it as a symbol of that which generates it, namely the projector.

This is where a movie in a cinema comes from – at least in the days of analogue film – and as you can see, it has nothing to do with the world that appears to be on the screen. Also, it is much smaller than the world experienced to be on the screen. The same applies to that which is One, which is so much smaller than a world where there seems to be more than one. It is, actually, so small that it cannot be seen. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Some may respond to the above movie metaphor with the question: »Who has put the film in the projector?« They think that this question proves the movie is real.

Thoughts does not prove anything.

The graphic is grabbed from the web.

But nothing proves a world defined by time and space is real. There are silly explanations about an almighty god, an explosion of nothing coming out of a black hole as something, ‘I think therefore I am,’ or naive beliefs like ‘I exist because I can feel pain when I pitch the body.’ The latter would be the same as saying, I am the coat I wear because I can feel something when I pitch it. But you are not your coat or body, nor soul or consciousness. That is why you say my coat, body, soul and consciousness.

You are not anything at all because it takes more than one to be something, and there is no more than that which is One.

Alexius’ Duality Hacks can be compared to a piece of soap. It has no power to do anything by itself – only in the hands of someone does it become useful. Likewise, hack #2.1 Everything experienced is a symbol of oneness, effectively washes away all your beliefs. If you do not like the smell of this soap, use a Duality Hack with a flavour you like.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings are like fairy tales that you read for stray kids to shed some light on what and where they are so that they can find the way home.

The way you should follow is not definable and cannot be followed since your home is that which is One, and it takes more than one to pursue something.

Fortunately, there is no need to find a way to oneness because it is formless, thus endless, so that which is you is the formlessness of oneness. Consequently, no miracle is needed to leave or transcend a world where there seems to be more than one. Only the belief that it exists needs to be undone.
