In 2010 Alexius was stuck in a rainforest for two days without food and water. He had followed a dried-out river down the mountain towards the sea, but the closer he came to the sea, the more impenetrable the rainforest became. So at the end of the first day, Alexius gave up digging through the thorny lianas.

He started hallucinating the second day and prepared himself to die of cold and/or dehydration the coming night. But everything was so beautiful that it did not seem important to continue as a separate being. Besides, Alexius’ had no more mundane longings. They had all been fulfilled. Finally, however, at the end of the second day, he was rescued by a helicopter.

Before the helicopter arrived, it was like the personal self of Alexius died per its script and was replaced by an impersonal one, having only one goal: giving back everything received to remain impersonal, thus a medium for the empty breath. Read about being a vessel for the empty breath in hack #5.2 The empty breath and the bliss of not believing to be someone.

However, since giving back everything is beyond the brain, Alexius got no relevant input from it about that. The brain suggested he should do something great for humanity. But Alexius sensed it was not about doing but perceiving. Therefore, he concluded that since life is formless, a world defined by time and space is lifeless, hence a fantasy. But since there is no illusion without reality, every part of the fantasy symbolises reality, namely life, because it is formless, thus endless.

Therefore, when a world defined by time and space is perceived as a symbol of life, our experience of it is returned to the formlessness of life. Hence our experiences do not seem to have an effect or establish us as definitive. Read more about Alexius in the rainforest here.

The idea of giving symbols of life back to life’s formlessness only works within a world defined by time and space. Therefore, like anything else in such a world, they must be given up at some point. ‘To give up’ must also go because it is only in a substantial world there is something to give up.

That you see a waitress here is not real. It is a simulation – a symbol of her and the beach café, where she works.

Seeing this photo is a fantasy because it takes more than one to do that and there is no more than that which is One. However,  therefore since it is only because of oneness you can fantasise about more than one, the fantasy is a positive confirmation of that which is One. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Since oneness is formless, thus endless, a world where there seems to be more than one is an illusion. However, have chosen to believe it is real, you better give it your best shot to appear as someone there because by doing so, you acknowledge your choice. Hence you can decide to have it undone, for example, by perceiving every experience of a world where there seems to be more than one as a symbol of that which is One.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Oneness does not know that you believe to be in a world where there seems to be more than one because there is no more than that which is one. Fortunately, you can undo your belief by not insisting on being linked with everything but that which makes it possible to believe there is more than that which is One. Hence, since your fantasy of more than one becomes a symbol of oneness, every part of a world where there seems to be more than one reminds you that there is no more than that which is One.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

A computer is not part of the world you see on its screen but the reason you see it. Therefore, the virtual world is a symbol of the computer. Likewise, everything in a world where there seems to be more than one is a symbol of that which is One.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Symbols have nothing to do with what they symbolise. So acknowledging everything in a world where there seems to be more than one as a symbol of that which is One will not make you realise oneness. Besides, it takes more than one to recognise something, so you can only be aware of something that is not one.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

No reason to control, stop or deny the thoughts popping up. Since they can only be experienced because of oneness, they confirm that which is one, whereas their refusal is a rejection of oneness.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

You cannot perceive something as a symbol of that which is One if you suppress what it makes you feel. In other words, seeing a world where there seems to be more than one as a symbol of that which is One is not a way to deny unpleasant feelings. Nor do you need to do that because when you perceive unpleasantness as a symbol of oneness, it feels just as marvellous as pleasantness.

There is no food in the menu card on the table, but there are symbols of it – and so the card is pointing towards food in the same way, as my non teachings are pointing towards life. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

There is no food in the menu card. Yet there are symbols of it. Thus the card points toward food in the same way as Alexius’ Enlightened Non-Teachings point toward oneness – or rather, that there is no oneness in a world where there seems to be more than one. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

When everything experienced is perceived as a symbol of that which cannot be recognised, namely that which is One, there is no need to understand anything.

Good health is great to have while appearing as someone. But bad health is also great because both good and bad are symbols of that, making it possible to experience being someone.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Listening to music, you probably go for the beats if you want to dance and the flute if you wish to feel relaxed. But if you are into what makes it possible to hear it, both ways produce the same mood because they are listened to as a symbol of that which is One.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Appearing in a world defined by time and space is comparable to a game where your role is to be someone definitive, somewhere specific. That continues until you do not use thoughts and feelings to establish you as someone definitive but instead as symbols of that which makes it possible to play the game, namely the formlessness of oneness. Hereafter, you are not seen as someone definitive. Thus you are free.

Do you see two faces or a vase in this image? The answer seems important within the reality of a world defined by time and space because, without definitions, it does not appear to exist. Actually, it does not matter because your electronic media neither has room for faces nor a vase. The image is an illusion symbolising something that is not there. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Remodelling is the very reason you seem to experience a world of duality. It is the foundation of duality because it is a twisted image of non-duality. But the original modification of non-duality into a world of duality has its faults, so more adjustments are needed. For example, when you are born, the world you see is upside down, and if it were not because you constantly correct this image into the way you have learned the world should look, you would still experience it as upside down. You can read about this, and other corrections here.

But in this article, we just point out that you are used to editing your experiences. Hence nothing but yourself stops you from correcting your experience of a world of duality into symbols of non-duality. The way to change that is to acknowledge you feel alienated because you have chosen to believe in duality. By doing that, you automatically make a choice that makes you feel integrated: to perceive duality as a symbol of non-duality.

The smartphone is a symbol of being connected and have access to everthing.

What you can access from your smartphone is not in it nor real. The phone is a symbol of being connected and having access to everything. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

In the world where we appear to be, somebody has invented a smartphone where the things and services you can access via it are not in it – like the substantial world we access via experiences made by the brain is not in it. But unlike a smartphone, nobody knows who has created the brain from which we access experiences of being tangible beings in a substantial world. The reason is simple. The brain has never been developed because reality is that which is One, and it takes more than one to create something.

Consequently, the experience of being someone is an illusion. No worries. There is no illusion without reality. So if you perceive your experiences as symbols of reality, which is oneness since it is formless, thus endless, you can have fun appearing as a tangible person in a substantial world.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Reality is the reason that an illusion can be perceived as real.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

You cannot remember oneness because it takes more than one to be aware of something. But while you believe to be someone in a world where there seems to be more than one, you can remember it is impossible, for example, by perceiving everything as a symbol of that which makes it possible to experience them, namely that which is One.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

Where is the formlessness of oneness? Everywhere because formlessness is without beginning and end. But while you believe the experience of a world defined by time and space is real, your belief seems to hide that. However, your belief is quietly undone when it is seen as a symbol of that which makes it possible to believe in something definable, namely the formlessness of oneness.

A body used to make you appear as if you live in it fights the end. But not if it is used to symbolise the formlessness of oneness because what it symbolises goes on forever. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

You do not have to believe in non-duality because it is the reality. But you have to believe in duality. That is the only way to make something unreal, like Santa Claus, appear alive.

As long as Santa Claus delivers as promised, you are willing to believe he exists. But you dismiss him as a fantasy if he does not provide anything. Likewise, when you realise a world of duality does not make you feel fulfilled.

However, although you have realised you do not get what you expect, you probably assume it is your fault and that if you look hard and long, you will get it. However, a world of duality can never give you something fulfiling because it is a fantasy, and there is nothing to achieve in an illusion.

For the same reason, there is nothing to leave but the belief that you exist in a world of duality. One way to undo this belief is to perceive duality as a symbol of non-duality. The more you do that, the less the differences making up duality seem to make a difference. Thus, eventually, separation does not appear to hide that there never was or will be anything but non-duality.

The appearances in a dream are often experienced as physical, although the dream consists of nothing. Likewise, it may appear as if life is in a world where there seems to be more than one, even though it is nothing but empty space.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

When you do not try to escape the world’s emptiness by filling it with something that seems to make you fulfilled, the void you experience reveals you are not in a world where there seems to be more than one – like you are not in the story these words seem to produce. And there is not anything between them that combines them as something real.

This pic is manipulated. It is fragments of three pics added together. The dolphin is a separate pic, my son another and the background a third one. It was possible to do this fabrication, because of the power I have as a person in the world. You can say, that the pic symbolizes this power of mine, which again is a symbol of the life, that makes it possible for me to appear, as if I have any power.

This image is compiled of fragments from three different pictures. The dolphin is from one photo, the person from another and the background from a third one. It was possible to fabricate this illusion because of Alexius’s ability to manipulate the pixels that make up a photo. Hence the image symbolises his power, which again symbolises that which makes it possible for him to appear as if he has any power, namely that which is life. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Since it requires more than one to get something, you cannot get anything in oneness. Therefore, you start to wonder if oneness is all there is. Next, you look outside to see if there could be more than one. However, looking outside is an illusion because oneness is endless. Nevertheless, you insist on seeing a world outside of it, where there is more than one.

But just like a dreamer remains what and where it is while dreaming about moving around with others in different places, that which is you remain the formlessness of oneness when appearing to be someone in a world where there seems to be more than one.

However, even within a world where there seems to be more than one, it is a well-known secret that it is an illusion. According to scientific research, it is nothing but empty space. Hence what you see and feel as tangible is make-believe. Fortunately, perceiving everything in this fiction as a symbol of what makes it possible to experience a made-up world, namely the formlessness of oneness, all its definite appearances, eventually becomes indefinite. Thus there is no separation to support the belief that there is more than that which is one.
