Pretending to be someone, you are free because what you pretend to be, you are not

Since life is that which is One, there is no life in a world where there seems to be more than one. The apparent difference between animate and inanimate objects is, therefore, make-believe. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

You are not in the world where you believe to be because it requires more than one to be somewhere, and there is no more than that which is One since it is formless, thus endless.

Nevertheless, it is pretty entertaining to pretend to be in a world of duality.

You know it is not real if you must go to jail in a game. Nevertheless, you may act in the way you are supposed to express despair in your specific culture. In colder countries, this may be expressed intellectually and, in warmer countries, emotionally. But regardless of your response, there is nothing honest about it. It is just something you pretend as part of playing the game, likewise, in the game of duality.

You may want to be authentic, but nobody in a world of duality is more real than those in a computer game. You only appear to be somewhere because you believe that. If you do not like what you believe in being, you can undo it by pretending it. Thus you are free to feel as you want because what you pretend to be, you are not.

Most try to control themselves by restricting themselves from specific clothes and music, for example so that they can come out as someone with the right look and mood. They may complete this one way of being with just one love or by loving everyone as one

That or other attempts to solve feeling incomplete by being in one state of mind will not work because every experience in a world where there seems to be more than one is built on division. Thus you will always feel divided. However, the solution to this is not to unite. On the contrary, since the wish to unite is based on separation, it enhances feeling apart. But if you pretend to be in a world where there seems to be more than one, you are not separated because what you pretend to be, you are not.

There are no petrol stations in a game like Monopoly, so it is pretty unrealistic to drive there. Yet it is quite fun pretending that you do it. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

You are too big to drive a car in a game like Monopoly. Besides, it has no steering wheel or engine. But it does not matter in the game. It is all make-believe when you choose to have fun pretending to be in a specific coloured car in the world of Monopoly.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

You may wonder how to pretend. But you already know that. You just have forgotten that you act all the time. For example, here is a dialogue from the tv-show The Big Bang Theory:

»When did you guys start feeling grown-up?«

»Honestly, I thought when I got married, I would, but I still kinda feel like I’m pretending.«

If you do not try to fool yourself, you will see that not only feeling grown-up is something you pretend to be. Also, being a parent, a teacher, or whatever you appear to be is something you pretend, often after having it played out in your head.

And since you are not what and where you pretend to be, appearing to be someone in a world where there seems to be more than one is not real, and neither is what you feel about it. Consequently, you are free to have fun feeling grown-up or something else.

If you feel wrong, it does not help to correct the problem in the person, you seem to be in the world, because you are not ´there´

Since what and where you appear to require more than one, there is no room for it in that which is One. Nor is there room for that which is One where you appear to be because it is a world based on difference. But nevertheless, you can pretend that oneness and difference can fuse and explore that fantasy.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

You can only be desperate if you believe in being in a world where there seems to be more than one. That also applies to being happy or whatnot. But if you do not believe but pretend to be there, you are indifferent to what you feel, just like you do not take it seriously if you think this or that while pretending to be someone in a computer game. You are not there. It is not possible. But it is possible to pretend that, so you can have fun going up and down without being hurt.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

According to traditional eastern philosophy, the world is an illusion. If so – and if you are real – you cannot be in it – just like within the context of the world, you cannot be in a game like Monopoly. But you can pretend to be there.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

You cannot decide to be that which is real because it is that which is One, and it takes more than one to choose something. But you can choose not to be in a world where there seems to be more than one by pretending to be there because where you pretend to be, you are not.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

You appear as someone in a world where there seems to be more than one because you believe it is possible to divide oneness into more than one. If not for this belief, a world where there seems to be more than one could not appear to hide, there is no more than that which is One.

∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞

You cannot be happy in a computer game because you are not there. But you can pretend to be happy. The same applies to the person you appear to be playing the game, you are not somewhere at all. It is impossible. You are that which is One, and it takes more than one to be somewhere. For the same reason, pretending you are somewhere is impossible. Nevertheless, in doing so, the belief that this is possible is slowly but surely undone. Photo © Alexius Jorgensen.

Alexius is not a non-teacher of the Enlightenment of that which is One. It is something he pretends to be. And so is everything else. How could it be anything else when the world is not real? In other words, he is not authentic, spiritual, truthful, or full of compassion and love. He is nobody because there is no ‘I’ with a need to be something definitive.

In a game like Monopoly, you pretend to be someone driving a specific car, but you are not going anywhere, no matter the colour. And you never get more money regardless of how much you seem to profit from others because none of it is real. But it is fun to pretend that it is.

In other words, when you see a world where there seems to be more than one as a fantasy, it is fun pretending to be someone in it, as well as leaving it.

There is no life in a virtual world – only in the perceiver, who is also the sender. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

There is no life in a virtual world – only in the one perceiving it. And what is perceived as received from the virtual world is a projection of the perceiver. The graphic is grabbed from the web.

Pretending to be someone in a world encapsulated by time and space instead of believing to be there, you may look like a tourist because you are not concerned with your appearances but that which makes it possible to experience it.

This is like not being devoted to the world appearing on the screen of a computer but instead to the computer itself because no matter how much the virtual world you, it is only possible because of the computer.

But the computer does not know anything but formless chaos of zeros and ones. Hence it has no knowledge of a world encapsulated by time and space that an app has generated from its zeros and ones and placed on top of them. In this little fiction, the app is a metaphor for the brain and its rendering of you in a capsule of time and space, and the computer for that which is life.

Although that which is life does not know it is being used for something specific, it senses something is off. Thus it sends out an echo of itself into nowhere. It sounds a bit like the sound AUM or Sohang represents. By following it, you are sure to forget the experience of a world encapsulated by time and space. Thus nothing seems to cover, there is no more than the formlessness of life. Read the article Life has no secrets if you want to learn how to hear or feel the vibration symbolised by AUM and Sohang.

The wise one may ask who has installed the app on the computer. The answer is nobody. Oneness is formless, thus endless, so anything that requires more than One is impossible. That is what you realise when you constantly pretend to be someone in a world encapsulated by time and space because where you pretend to be, you are not. Therefore, since it becomes an exciting adventure that, like a dream, consists of nothing, you are not occupied by fixing something in time and space, wherefore you, eventually, wake up in the formlessness of oneness.

In other words, all you have to do to hack the belief that you are someone encapsulated by time and space is to pretend it. Should another hack seems better suited for you, by all means, apply that hack – or change between Alexius’ Duality Hacks.
